WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007

"WWE comes to the PSP for 2007."
Intro-
SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 is back and for the PSP. If you are a BIG wrestling fan, you will like this game. There are also updated wrestlers and rosters. Here, don't just listen to this, look at the review.
Differences-
Some of the differences between this game and the PS2 and Xbox 360 version are minor and big. One of the kinda big differences is the addition of one more game mode. This mode is called "Road to Wrestlemania" were you can wrestle in tournaments or create your own. The other differences are that you can't customize your own locker room. You can't even walk around your locker room either. And the last difference is that they cut the WWE shop unlockables in half. You can only buy legends, different costumes (3 in total), the DX entrance. loading screen, and a moveset. Almost half of the game is changed...thats the PSP for you.
Graphics-
The graphics in this game aren't as good as the PS2 and not as nearly as good as the 360 graphics. There are a little graphical glitches like weapons going into the ring when you slide in the ring, sometimes when you punch, your hand goes through them, and other minor stuff like that. Either way, the graphics are pretty blocky and not very satisfying.
Controls-
The for the PSP are the same as last year. The only differences to the controls si how to punch, kick, etc. and how to irish whip and leave the ring. The controls aren't nearly the same as the PS2 or Xbox 360's analog controls so you should be used to the controls already if you have played previous games. Or course, the Ultimate Control attacks are still there. The controls are pretty basic, which is pretty good for new-comers also.
Game Modes-
Season mode and general manager mode are majorly different than last year. In season mode, the length of the game mode for each superstar is longer than last year. In general manager mode, they have changed how rivalries go, and they added the Power 25 rating for WWE fantasy. So a superstar on your roster has to be on your brand's Power 15 (numbers smaller because it's for own brand) to contend for title. They also changed the mode so that only certain matches (hell in a cell, last man standing, etc.) can be used only in PPV events. The moral and fatigue system are still there, and they added an options section so you can make it a little easier. Very fun to do and will occupy you for hours.
Create a Wrestler-
The CAW system for the PSP can only hold 16 layers for a wrestler this year. So if you wanted to make a wreslter from the past, you have to only use limited additions tom the wrestler. The different items for the CAW has been cut-down and their aren't as many clothes, tatoos, hair styles than last year.
Overall-
Overall the game is pretty fun and will occupy you for a long time. The game will satisfy you if you are a wrestling fan, and it might even seem fun even if you don't like wrestling. The game, even though isn't like the PS2 or 360 version, is still a keeper and a must buy game. Don't just listen to me, go out there and buy your own copy, and DON'T JUST WATCH IT...LIVE IT!!!!!!!
