"Still got it after all these years, Pac-man that is"

INTRO
Wow, a pac-man hand held game. I know threw out the years there has been a number of these. It seems they keep getting better and better as the years go by. Pac-man of course has lost no fans or supporters all these years, he just gains more and more as new generations comes along. Its amazing what this little yellow character has done to the video game industry. He is truly a video game legend. I don't care what anybody has to say; pac-man games have paved the way for other fine video games. Ok, enough of a history lesson, lets get back to the future. This is a 3D pac-man video game, which comes from the console games to the hand held. It seems they have done a great job of doing so.

GAME PLAY
By now everyone should know the basics of Pac-man. Eat dots, no? That's his number one thing and, I doubt that will ever change. So when you playing this game get ready to eat 'em up! You also have fruits to eat; each one has different points. There also are a few special hidden items you can look for in this game. These fruits and items are easy to find at times, and other times are hidden very well. So you need to be on your toes. Pac-man moves well with the control pad, he has a jump, rev, and now a punch button. He never had a punch button before so this is a good add on. You can hit your enemies now instead of just bouncing on them. There's a plus for the developers right there. I'm not sure exactly, but I think there is about 15 levels with 3-4 boards consisting of each. So you will get plenty of playtime here. Each level is unique in its own way, so it keeps you on your toes. Don't expect to see the same obstacles and puzzle solving in each level. Not in this game, this is not a repetitive game. Don't expect to zoom threw this game, cause it's not going to happen. The story is not that great, but cute. It's fun to follow threw, different from other pac-man world games.

APPEARANCE
Incredible, simple just incredible. I never knew PSP games had such great graphics. Yes I did forgot to mention this is my very first PSP game played and finished. Hopefully there are plenty more to come along. Everything looked so great really don't know what to say, I was left with my mouth open. Never knew something so small could be so wonderful in so many different ways. Must say the developers of pac-man programing and graphics must be top-notch people. There are no nickel and dime graphics here nothing put top notch. The music, the sound, and the special effect nosies, they are just as good too. No complaints here. But we do come to the one bad point about this beautiful game. The camera angle at times is off. You can't see directly above you or underneath you. You need this in this game cause they hide things all over. So in other words you would have a melon on a ledge underneath you and you can't see it till you reach all the way on the other side, then you have to come all the way back again and get it. So that is one bad part, but you seem to get used to after awhile and be more careful for looking for things before you leave an area.

OVERALL
Let's wrap it up now. If you are looking for a solid action platform hand held game. Then look no further, this will give you hours of fun playtime, and enjoyment. I just finished this game, but I will play it again, and see if I can collect all the fruits and special items in all the levels. You can clear the game without collecting all the items. Right now I want to try my hand at something different. I will put this in my collection and come back to it another time. It's a good game to have, and at a reasonable price too. You can't go wrong with this one; it is fun for all ages.
