Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects

"Better than I thought."
Marvel Nemesis
When I first saw this game on the shelves of the Virgin Mega store, I thought it was just another simple, kiddish fighting game. And there were a bunch of other games that I could have bought with my money, so I bought NBA Street instead and I DON'T regret it. It's an awesome game, but that's another topic. So how did I get this game Later on Christmas I open my presents and guess what, Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects.
When I first inserted the game into my PSP I thought it was just going to be an okay game, not good and not bad, but what do you know. I fell in love with this game. I was playing it nonstop until I beat it full 100% and decided to write this review. Ok, so now about the game.
Gameplay
The gameplay was not the best but it was better than average. It is really is to control all the characters and everything, but it lacked creativity. There was only one style for grunts, one style for normal guys and one style for normal girls. This is the only bad part, it was all the same for all the characters, all the girls jumped the same way, all the grunts fought the same way, it was all same actions. Although it lacks fighting styles, it has a variety of a lot of different characters and their superpowers. This is probably the best reason why the game is so good.
Graphics/Sound
The graphics and sound were really good. None of the images were blurred, everything was sharp and the music matched the mood of the game. Really, there is nothing more to say.
Characters
Some of the characters in this game are completely horrible. I mean it's like EA lost the creativity part of their brain. Some of the characters are like the exact copies of other characters with a different costume and name. For example, Hazmat, he is the exact copy of Spiderman, it's the same frigging guy. >:( Or another example is Fault Zone. I mean come on EA, you made a woman with drilling machines on her hands. WTF is wrong with you people.
Story
This is also one of the not so good sides of this game. I know that this is just a fighting round game and everything, but it completely has no story. All the heroes have one single same story to follow, and all of the imperfects have one boring story to follow. It is actually not even a story, more like text to link between the different rounds. I mean compared to Def Jam: Fight for NY, this game's story is nothing. In DJFFNY, you first save your boss, help win fight clubs for respect, get a girlfriend that later gets kidnapped, then you fight your own side and get your girlfriend back and so on. EA actually made a simple round fight game interesting with just a storyline. Anyways, onto the conclusion.
Final Thoughts
Although this game does have a few bad parts, I think overall it is a good game.
