"Snoopy is back!"

Who doesn't love Snoopy? Very few of you, most likely. Snoopy vs. the Red Baron brings back the memories of the old comic strip. This game is a really kiddy and cartoonish flying simulator, similar but still quite different to all those flight simulators on the PC.

Story: There really isn't that much meat to the story, but its a cartoon game. Snoopy writes another story, just like in his comic strip days. This story is about a war against the flying circus. The story pretty much ends there. Not serious, not in-depth, its a perfectly simple story for a game like this.
SCORE: 10

Gameplay: The gameplay here is nice. Not too terribly fast paced, actually quite the opposite. The movement and speed aren't great. You didn't have to make the plane that realistic, did you? The controls are easy, and don't take a long time to get used to. The game itself is full of objectives, so that you're kept busy all the time in every level, literally. That's good if you like a lot of action. There are also a lot of collectibles, which can be used to make different upgrades and characters available, if you ever happen to play with a friend, or just want more characters to choose from playing by yourself. Just like any other flying game, you and your opponent will sometimes end up flying in a huge spherical pattern trying to get to each other, which is kind of annoying.
SCORE: 7

Graphics: I have no problems with the graphics. They are cartoonish, to fit the mood. Not meant to be great, but just meant to portray the spirit of Peanuts. Nothing wonderful, but the environments are nice and interesting. Even a little odd, considering this is a flying game. But hey, this is Snoopy.
SCORE: 9

Sound: The sound is nice, in the beginning. But they really start to get repetitive near the end. Way to repetitive. You sometimes get annoyed of hearing that same track play in the background, even for a couple of minutes.
SCORE: 5

Replay Value: It has some replay value, although it isn't too terribly fun, you just might find yourself grabbing it and playing it again. Some levels are really fun and you will find yourself playing those over again. Other levels are... not so pretty.
SCORE: 6

FINAL SCORE: 7
This game is worth renting if you aren't a Peanuts fan, but if you are, I recommend you buy it.
