Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters

Ahhh.... Ratchet and Clank in a new adventure! Developed by Insomni..... Wait a sec. "High Impact Games"? Guess why this sucked.

Ratchet and Clank are back but on a different console, the PSP. As soon as I heard about this game I went to the closest Gamestop and bought it. Bad move.

Graphics: 7

The graphics here aren't bad but aren't the same. It's more sketchy than the last 4 times, (most likely due to portable) The game stops sometimes due to loading and stuff. Normally I'm fine with it though.

Controls: 6

Well this screwed up more too. Some stuff stayed like smacking guys with the wrench with the square button and shotting guns with the circle button. A big change I hated was the Comet Strike (throwing the wrench). It screwed the camera angle and wasn't good. The camera angle stayed fine inverted or regular.

New Stuff: 3

Possibly the worst. The storyline has changed to relaxing on Pokitaru after saving heroes from dying on DreadZone. Suddenly a girl called Luna says she wants to do a report on you. She gets captured, you follow and find out the rest. The usual. A couple of twists were added which were ok. Qwark is still here, (doesn't he ever go away?!) and find out stuff about Technomites. You'll find out if ya want to. The new skyboarding stuff sucks. With only 8 challenges it's short. The good thing here is you find armor and customize it yourself which was great. But that alone couldn't make up for the rest of the game. The weapons aren't even that new. The Secrets aren't good either. (There's no Insomniac Museum!)

Overall: 5 (not averaged)
Way too short a game! The average was said to be 5 hours! Including Challenge mode thats only 10 hours!!! A two day game!

Buy or Rent:
Warning: Don't buy no matter what!!!!! Rent at most; you should finish the game in 4 days tops.

Moral: Don't buy anything from High Impact games that has Ratchet and Clank in the title.
