"I welcome you into my life~~~"

Me and My Katamari is another great game in the sorta long running series about a prince, his giant ball of stuff, and the King of All Cosmos, who is sadly missing his crotch plate in this game.

Story: ROFL!/10

Yes, I know that ROFL isn't a real score, but that's all I can think to give it. The King and family are off on vacation and, through time tested video game fashion, end up having requests from the local animals to create islands. Its up to the Prince to do what is asked! The text is what really brings out the humor, for the Engrish makes what could be serious text into something lighthearted, and humorously so.

Graphics: 8/10

The Katamari series is not known for its tremendous Gears of War graphics (for it has none), but when you accept it for what it is, it's a very fun style. And it doesn't look that bad on the PSP. Granted, there are some jaggies here and there, but all the same, it's very stable and colorful.

Sound: 9/10

Easily my second favorite part of the Katamari series is the sound, and this doesn't disappoint. It's very clanky and noisy at times, but it adds to the effect that you're rolling up giant balls of stuff. And the music this time, though somewhat the same, is still awesome in its lameness. Listening to lounge music whilst rolling up buildings has never been so engaging.

Gameplay: 8/10

As you may or may not know, you are effectively trying to make big balls of stuff in X amount of time and needs to reach a goal in how big it is. Simple enough, right? In this version, you also need to meet the animal's demands as best as possible. For example, a turtle wants a hard island, so you need to roll up hard objects, and so on and so forth. This would be a bit more challenging if you couldn't effectively pick up everything and still get a good score. As normal with the Katamari games, the controls can be a pain to get used to, and on the PSP it's doubled. Turning is a problem sometimes, and every so often you wont even go the way you're turning, which can throw off what you're doing. It's easily correctable, but still a pain to deal with. They introduce some new members into the Cosmos family as well, however I dont think they really do anything different, which is a real shame.

Overall: 8/10

A great game in a great series hindered by control issues. Definitely a buy.
