"A great game for long time Metal Gear fans"

Metal Gear Acid is a totally different game then any other Metal Gear game. The gameplay was twisted but did not really hurt the game. It wasn't necessarily a bad change, but you may not like it. It is basically a strategy game that you will have to anticipate the enemies moves and make your move at the right time.

Graphics: 9.5 This game was one of the good looking launching titles that came out. The character models look great and are pretty much as good as PS2. The levels were designed great and there are many sections in each one. I think that this game is in the top 5 in graphics compared to the games out.

Presentation: 9.2 There are many animations in the game that look great. The storyline was presented great and each plot turn was really made good. The storyline is not as good as other metal gears but it still was a great presented game. When you kill people or blow things up it looks great.

Gameplay: 8.0 The gameplay was pretty good considering the big change compared to other metal gears. Sometimes the enemies or yourself can look dum when executing a move but usually it looks good. The game is basically a card game where you hope to get the right cards and use them right to complete the missions. You can equip a weapon for later use and use weapons on the spot. Also, in some point of the game you will be working with a woman in some missions. This can be really fun because you could gang up on enemies using both users. In some parts you will need to cooperate to open doors and complete missions.

Sound: 8.8 The gunshots sound pretty good for a portable system. Also, the explosions sound great and really show the PSP's power. That is basically all the sound you hear when playing the game besides the music in the background. The music can get annoying but it could also make the game more exciting.

Lasting Appeal: 8.5 This game is pretty long and you could play levels over to get more cards. You could spend a lot of time playing this game if you get into it quickly. It could last for a long time of you want to get a lot of cards. This game is pretty long but the levels can get boring sometimes
