"Amazing Game worth every penny."

Well what can I say? Coded Arms is an amazing FPS for the PSP. I don't usually give a game a perfect score, but I can safely say that this game deserves it.

GRAPHICS
These graphics are simply incredible. The gun and grenades are a marvel. The effects of an enemy dissolving after dying and a bullet hitting the wall are fantastic. The explosions are a thing of beauty in their own right as well.

GAMEPLAY
This gameplay is very good for the PSP. It takes some getting used to, but old school FPSers will be able to adjust. The lock on feature gives this game its zing, but also a hint of challenge because the pistol will not lock on to a spider like bot at your feet. The 25 different weapons give the game variety while only being able to hold 5 of them at a time gives the game strategy. The gameplay is very well rounded, but for those looking for a mobile Halo, do not waste your time and money, because this is not it. Not to say Halo fans will not like the game, it is just not the same.

CONTROLS
So there's no second analog stick. Big deal. DO NOT OVER LOOK THIS GAME FOR THAT REASON ALONE. With a fully customizable layout, the sky is the limit to what your second analog stick could be.
9/10

LOADING TIME
These speeds are phenomenal. The average loading time for one level is under thirty seconds. This is amazing considering the information it has to hold for one level.

MULTI PLAYER
Absolutely unbelievable. This game's MP is astounding. The game types are Death match, Last Man Standing, and a game that is like Capture The Flag. Only Three levels is disappointing but they are all incredible in their own rights.

STORY
An abstract story is this game's only down bringing. A government simulator to train soldiers against an alien invasion, known as A.I.D.A., has malfunctioned in the beta testing stage and has been abandoned. However, the program has not fully shut down, as the aliens continue to mutate and reproduce inside the system. The system has been uncovered by hackers and video gamers alike. Which uncovers the system's mighty flaw; it forces users to completely digitalize their personalities without a back up. If a person dies within the system, they lose their personalities and essentially, their lives. You play a hacker risking every thing you love to retrieve data from the system to sell at outrageously high prices.

OVERALL
This game brings brand new life to the PSP. No longer will action hungry FPSers be bored playing sports or racing games. This game is a must have for any FPSer in need of a good game.
