Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee

Holy cow!! This game is GREAT!!! The customization, the tournaments, the similarities. But seriously, I can sum this game up in 4 words. BEST GOLF GAME EVER!!!

Graphics: 10/10 For a launch title, this game has amazing graphics. the character graphics look like they are straight out of Hot Shots Golf Fore. The courses are impressively done. Especially my favorite course, Mt Sakura. The graphics are unbelievable. This game looks like it's coming out of the ending lineup for the PSP, not the beginning.

Story: N/A What story? It's a golf game for crying out loud! The only story I've seen in a golf game is in Mario Golf and that is the best sports story mode I've seen yet.

Controls: 10/10 The classic controls. L + R to select clubs, [] for power shot, /\ to zoom towards target, O to zoom away and X to set the shot's power and impact. The controls that won this award a players choice label.

Gameplay: 10/10 This game has so much to do. Whether you're taking part in a tournament, unlocking new characters or playing a casual game on your favourite course, you can literally never get bored with this game unless you play it for about 8 hours a day for a month. But who would do that? At least 12 awards such as double eagle and chip-in. At least 8 HGS levels such as rookie or Star. About 250 unlockable body parts and accessories. Like my personal favorite, the ninja suit and Dragon sword. Also the point system is back from Fore. Like 50 points for a fairway drive, 200 points for a birdie and-20 points for putting it on the beach. That's what makes Open Tee an outright winner.

Final Judgement: 10/10 This game looks too good and has too much to offer to get anything less than 10. With this much to offer, how can anyopne give Open Tee less than 10.

Rent or Buy: Buy. To any sports lover or collector I'd highly recommend buy. However if you don't really enjoy sports games then just rent it so you can talk to your friends intelligently about one of the single best games I've ever played. GO HSG!!!
