"Hyaaaaaaaaaaa!"

Intro:
This was my first game on my PSP and this was no mistake at all. Personally I never really liked the PS2 Dynasty Warriors much but i can't really say much considering I don't have a PS2. I got this game because of the new gameplay system. OK enough babbling around and lets get down to buisiness.

Graphics:
OMG these graphics are amazing for a portable with full 3D rendered worlds and characters this is eye candy though it's not as flash as some other games on PSP it still is great. What really lets this down is that when there a lot of enemies on screen the frame-rate drastically drops which gets real annoying.

Sound/Music
The sound in this game is great the enimies have a grunt when they are killed without it sounding annoying and soundtrack is absolutely amazing as they remix old DW tracks together to make it sound great. Personally my favorite is Lu Bu's Theme.

Controls
The controls are great and smooth and are easy to use and it also has full control customisation if you don't like the default settings. No complaints here.

Gameplay
Ahh the most important part of any game. Unlike the other DW's this features a "Battlefield Area System" which splits each map into lots of smaller maps which are linked together so you can choose multiple paths to the enemy main camp. When in a battle the objective is to get the enemy morale down to 0. You can do this by killing enemies, the higher rank enemy the more morale it will decrease. But beware if your units morale drops to 0 then you will have to start at the main camp again and you will lose supplies which brings me to my next subject, Supplies. When you start a battle you have a certain amount of supplies, this is how much time you left to battle and when it reaches 0 you lose. You can replenish supplies by invading enemy supply depots. You can also heal your injuries at supply depots but it will use up your supplies. In an overall battle the objective is to invade the enemy main camp. There is also an Officer System in which you can choose the officers that fight beside you. Your character has a certain amount of control which depicts how many officers you can use and of what rank. Officers have levels the better they are the higher level they are. Levels are costs of officers and it subtracts from your control when you use them. The main use of officers are their special abilities. Their abilities can help you majourly in battle. I'll let you find out what they are. The are 10 battles in which you can fight and you can fight them different sides of the story. There are 42 characters you can unlock and use. Pity there wasn't more battles as there aren't many battles.
