Intro

It's Madden, what more is there to say.. it's football.

Gameplay

This game is basically the same as the ps2 version of the game. If your looking for something different from the ps2 version, you won't find it here. It's pretty much a port. If you like to watch tv while playing games or go on a lot of trips, this game is definitely worth the $50.

The controls in this game are the same, but it doesn't have r1, r2, and the right analog stick. It's not hard to get used to, a little simpler if you ask me without those extra buttons.

If you don't like always playing the actual game, there are many different drills you can do, or the training. They are very enjoyable. Examples of these drills include kicking, and sacking the quarter back.

This game also has an on-line mode. It is free. It is somewhat slow, but if you don't like playing the computer all the time, it can be fun.

There are many glitches in this game, but if your a fan of Madden or football games, it won't really matter to you. They have really seemed to bother some people. I have yet to encounter any big ones yet though.

Graphics/Sound

The sound is the same as the play station 2 game, it has Madden talking and the common noises around the stadium and field. The music in the game is assorted rap music from various artists. You can't really hear the music, so it doesn't matter too much if you don't like it.

Playtime

So far, I'm maybe 10 hours into the game, and still having a lot of fun with it. I think I'll be playing this game a lot more.

Final Recommendation

This is a must buy game if you have some extra money. There is no need to rent this game, it would really be a waste of five dollars. If you like other Madden games, you will like this one, unless you don't much like portables for some reason. I don't regret my purchase at all.
