"Dynasty Warriors. Experience from the PSP!"

For the gamer that enjoys the un-lockable side of gaming, this latest installment is good. Whereas you start out w/ just a handful of playable legends, each of the 3 kingdom scenario's will unlock more. The biggest aspect of this game is the officer unlocking. Unlike the console version, your officers are what can build your warrior up. In further detail, the Red Hair isnt an object thats obtained like in the console version, in this one would need a specific officer that will offer the horse for you to start each battle with.

The control aspect is very redundant. Be prepared to break in that square button. 99% of the game is achieved through that. Harder settings will require you to block and counter, but in the end, there is that square button. Once you level your dynasty warrior up, the game turns into a matter of time, rather than any skill required.

The graphics are outstanding for a portable. Dynasty Warriors really lives up to itself here. For those that are fans of the 3 kingdoms, you will still get that feeling that your in the fight making history.

The sound and music can be recognized from past Dynasty Warriors games. So there isn't much in comparison from there. For those that are new to the Dynasty Warrior games the music is orient w/ a touch of rock/techno.

Load times aren't that bad. The initial load into each battle is tolerable. Once your beyond that, the rest of the game is smooth sailing. Battery life on high settings seemed to last just a few hours.

The characters you can play as are your favorite from the console and Romance of the Three Kingdoms games. All the major warriors from the Shu, Wei and Wu, as well as 'Others' like Lu Bu and Diao Chan. One thing I wished for, unlike the console versions is there's no CAW (Create a Warrior).

Overall a wonderful game for the go. With Story mode, or instant action, whether you have 15 minutes to play or 4 hours to play, there's always something to do. Something to unlock. A kingdom to conquer.
