SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo
Review by BolognaIsBACK
"Socom for the PSP equals Fun."
Gameplay
As soon as I picked up Socom at my local gamestop, I knew it was going to be a fun filled game. You play as Sandman who is with Lonestar. Durning the missions you would have to accomplish objectives like rescue a person, disable a bomb or radio, clear an area, find the radios and much more. But when I played the first mission it was pretty short. The first mission can be done in about ten minutes or so on the normal mode. But there are many hidden objectives that you would want to unlock for the unlockables, which might want you to go back and play more. There are many things to do in this game. They have Instant Action added on to this one. It's pretty fun for a few minutes but it gets pretty easy after a while. It would be fun for the car rides or play time away from the online connection.
8/10
Controls
Some people may be thinking how would the controls work. But it's very simple; the D-pad is to toggle through weapons, free look, and the use of first and 3rd person view. The X button is to fire; the analog stick is used for the movement of the character. Although you can't jump, you still can climb over short obstacles. To take out a grenade, you hold down triangle and the X button to through. It may seem like the controls are taking away the skill to move the views like the ones for the PS2 but it really does take skill to use these controls. Once you get into the controls it works very smoothly.

Graphics and Sound
The graphics in this game seem a little bit choppy but it isn't too bad. The sound in this game is like regular games. It has its sound effects, got the music, the voice, and other things. When you're in a mission, you can sometimes hear the terrorist's conversations. The sounds of the guns sound like the real thing. There are some cut scenes they put between places you go, which are nice to watch.
7/10 for graphics and 9/10 for sound
Multiplayer
This is where the game shines. It's multiplayer is mostly the reason most people buy the game. You can use the headset for conversation. It allows only 16 people at the max. But many varieties of game types to choose from. There are clans you can join and clans you can make. The maps are well designed and would keep you playing for hours. You can verse your friends in a close range match that would add to the more fun.
10/10
If you looking to buy yourself a fun new game for you PSP I would highly recommend Socom US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo because of the online play. If you a fan of online play, this game if for you.
But if you don't have an Internet connection for you PSP, it would be fun to play this game for a little while, but I would recommend for those people to rent this game. It depends if you like the Socom line up for the Playstaion 2, I would recommend this. If you just want to buy a new game for you PSP this game would be my first choice.
In conclusion, this game is a fun filled game that is worth the money for the online and for the offline players. If gives the players many hours of playtime with their PSP and many options to choose from. This game I highly recommend and it is worth the money. With a price tag of 40 bucks, it is pretty affordable and pretty cheap for those PSP games out there.
