    ---does tomb4 beat tomb3 ?---
    well, is it difficult?force to recognize that tomb4 has a terrific design 
    and overall an interesting plot, including impressive full fmv,
    however still too many bugs.but i must admit that it is bloody addictive.
    so psx shows its limits.note that the game has been last compiled on
    november, this means that they really ran out of time, this explains that the game 
    was late and probably the small size or poor graphics on few levels, 
    the door on demetrios chamber which you can't open,and so on.
    (and why only 8 gold skulls on first level, and no more after?)
    
    --update:last flashback revelation--
    the very first time i played tomb raider 4 something disturbed me...
    remind the 1 and short fmv which open the game, when you see von croy entering a 
    pyramid,
    he has glasses on his face.then the game begun and i noticed that he hadn't anymore
    .later, i saw von croy  "in the present days" whom has these glasses!!
    finally all this  came back to my mind after having seen the end of the game.
    notice that the first fmv is the last in order onto the cd.
    so here is a guess:
    could the first FMV at beginning of the game be in PRESENT DAYS, and the game in 
    fact like a FLASHBACK
    of what had happened just before that fmv .if so this  could open a new chapter 
    seeing von croy rescuing lara...
    i really doubt that core and eidos decide that von croy has glasses on first fmv,
    and forget it on first level!!!as they have 30 game testers, this thing should have 
    been found.

    I've just translate most of my codes that weren't on gmsccc.com, as i finally 
    received my US version of lara.
    i am not here to spoil thunder2 from his great codes that are infinite life, 
    moonjump,
    speedie lara, spider lara or other usual tomb raider codes, so if you wanna them,
    just follow the link from gamefaqs to gameshark creator's club homepage, 
    and you'll find all of them.i'm just giving you some codes i had found after long
    nights drinking pepsi cans.
    there are from 1rst version of the game.
    if u have a game over just after being killed, sadly u have 2nd version.
    Some are currently really fun to play.:)  enjoy!

    you can use all at same time, this code has been realized for that!
    
    
     i have to explain a bit this code, because it was really a brain crush to find.
    so FOLLOW these steps to make it working:
    -1  at title screen or during a game press L2.
    -2 pushing L2 will load a level, the quickest to be loaded :)
       when it begins, simply input a direction or button once, depending on which fmv
       you want to see. remind that the masterkey goes direcly into the RAM of the psx,
       so you don't have to care about what does lara:ignore her.
       press the button for the fmv wanted only once, and furthermore
       do not press any button after! the fmv loaded will equals to the last button 
    pressed.
    -3 press R2.... enjoy !
    -4 to load another fmv press L2 at ending screen(after the fmv a masterkey loads 
    it) and follows the steps from 1 again.
    
    note:don't forget to use button R2 and not L2 on step 3. using L2 doesn't crash the 
    game,
    but doesn't allow to see more fmv, so you have to quit game, and then restart it.
    that's why i added R2 button, which is quicker thanto load a level, then see fmv 
    and reload 
    a level, then quit and rereload, then rerereload a level !

    altough it is worthless when using moonjump, it could be useful on parts that 
    upload
    levels often, because this code works on all levels, instead of moonjump.
    
    
    simply make a sidestep on the left (r1+left)to big jump or right(r1+right) for a 
    big big jump.
    it is only in use for one jump. you'll recover normal abilities right after.
    
    note: better to couple with flying lara if you wanna survive.

    ability to plane...

    EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE! moreover, it WORKS on YOUNG LARA LEVELS...
    simply push L1 and triangle at same time. now to light a flare,

    choose this weapon from the menu screen..

    you can use all at same time, this code has been realized for that!
    i have to explain a bit this code, because it was really a brain crush to find.
    so FOLLOW these steps to make it working:
    -1  at title screen or during a game press L2.
    -2 pushing L2 will load a level, the quickest to be loaded :)
       when it begins, simply input a direction or button once, depending on which fmv
       you want to see. remind that the masterkey goes direcly into the RAM of the psx,
       so you don't have to care about what does lara:ignore her.
       press the button for the fmv wanted only once, and furthermore
       do not press any button after! the fmv loaded will equals to the last button 
    pressed.
    -3 press R2.... enjoy !
    -4 to load another fmv press L2 at ending screen(after the fmv a masterkey loads 
    it) and follows the steps from 1 again.
    
    note:don't forget to use button R2 and not L2 on step 3. using L2 doesn't crash the 
    game,
    but doesn't allow to see more fmv, so you have to quit game, and then restart it.
    that's why i added R2 button, which is quicker thanto load a level, then see fmv 
    and reload 
    a level, then quit and rereload, then rerereload a level ! 
    there is another way slighty easier using 11 and 12 commands, but they do not work 
    anymore!!!

    about walk thru walls:
    the method i did found for tomb3 obviously isn't working anymore.
    i found a buggued way,but using 11 and 12 commands, so not compatible with cdx.
    plus, another way, enter your mem editor and goes to offset 800AB2c0, by minus one 
    the number written, you have 
    quite often a walk trhu sprites. and doing this underwater makes you fly while 
    swimming.
    ok if someone can help, mail please ;).

    if you have problem with some codes (for instance spider lara is buggued in few 
    levels), here is a trick that i called:
    "analog activator"
    all new games have a space in mem which refer to the led of the analogic, a red 
    light when on.
    well most of games have for reference 0000 digit for not active, and 0001 for 
    active analog mode!
    sometimes it's 0000 and 0100 (search for 256 at that time), or 0000 and ffff.
    it also surely could be reverse, depends on the way the game was coded.
    
    here is the analog activator for tomb 4:

    *Right at the end of first level,professor may tell you to chose between 
    two ways(remind, one is vertuous).after playing this scene several times
    i realized that both sides were differents, as next room right side has a
    pool that left do not have..And more, next level is completely different!!
    (at least twice harder on left side..)
    THE WAY TO CHOOSE? simply take all 8 gold skulls (and not five as i've seen 
    elsewhere)
     hidden during the travel before and you'll go to left side...
    good luck because it is bloody hard to win the run against the professor on 2nd 
    level after..
    
    
    *futhermore, you can win the run again the teacher on level 2...
    the beginning of the fmv will be different, but i was not able to find more.
    
    *lara's goggle can be lighted when you use them, by pressing X
    
    *lara has new improved moves which are not noticed anywhere:
    -small roll, by pressing l2 while running, instead of square.
    -she can also now get another side of a wall she is climbing at, simply input left 
    or right direction
    
    *it seems actually that there is no hidden level. i had to find a level digit 
    modifier to prove it to me.
    although this not meens that there is no more "alternate roads" like the race for 
    the iris on level 2.
    worse, finishing the game with all secrets didn't give me anything.well i used an 
    ar code to have all of them
    but on tomb raider 3 when using same code, it allowed me to enter the hidden level, 
    so i'm disapointed.
    
    *you can see a bunch of similarities between ending and the fmv at the end of race 
    for the iris level,
    could lara beeing possessed by seth on a new sequel ? i really doubt that EIDOS is 
    ready to let down
    their "commercial treasure" that is lara, over 8000000 discs sold all over the 
    world for tomb raider's trilogy.
    this could be also an open door to a new generation of game on the same plot.
