"Quite possibly the best Racing Simulation game ever made!!!"
Sony, this is now the right time to show Sega and everyone what the PlayStation is capable of. While everyone knew that Sega is very capable of making racing games like Daytonna, Sega Rally etc, Sony's Gran Turismo really deserved to be credited.
In terms of graphics, Gran Turismo definitely can rival against any Sega's racing game. It's by far one of the best looking racing game in PlayStation. The cars look really very realistic and the replay scene is truly awesome. Take note of how the cars turn, how the cars brake etc. Wow!
Sound effect and musics are quite up to the usual standard. Expect to hear some famous tunes. However, the sound effects are so excellent such that when you are playing the game, you can hardly hear the music.
In Gran Turismo, the main objective is not about speed, but how you handle the car. In this racing simulation, you will go through numerous trainings, and even take part in competitions.
The handling agility and throttle response are very convincing, and all cars replicate actual performance, handling, drive-train, and real engine sounds, to a great extent that the car seems to be an extension of yourself. Furthermore, Gran Turismo supports vibrational function and analog controller.
Vehicles are totally customisable, cool, isn't it? I don't see such features in any Sega racing games. Well, there are over 11 stunning enviroments which you can race on, though i expect more tracks, wider tracks and more cars on the tracks.
Gran Turismo is without a doubt, a must-buy game for any racing fan and with over 100 hours of gameplay spent to the racing simulation, it will keep all diehard racing veterans to the fullest.
