                        SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, for all that do not know, Legend of Legaia is a lot like Xenogears! 
So all you Xenogears fans, go get a copy of this game. But there are a 
few differences in the game. One difference is that of course the story 
is different. Another difference is that the battle system is a bit 
different. You can also learn skills to help you in your journey. The 
graphics are not bad, but I don't think that the FMVs are as nice as the 
Xenogears ones. But the good thing is that it is not so long and there 
are less bosses. What an advantage. Good gameplay, not bad music and 
great graphics. Almost perfect. So I'd give Legend of Legaia 9/10. And 
one more thing, I play this game on a four inch monitor sometimes, so 
it's kinda hard to see, so if there are any errors, please bear with it 
and I'll try to get it fixed.

                         WHY I'M MAKING THIS FAQ
------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are a few reasons to why I'm writing this FAQ. Number one, I loved 
Xenogears and although I didn't write an FAQ for it as it was too long, 
Legend of Legaia is shorter and hence have deceided to write an FAQ for 
it like what I've done for a few other games like Final Fantasy 8, 
Chocobo Racing and Monster Seed. I hope that this FAQ will be useful to 
you, the reader. I also hope it's detailed enough. Number two, I have 
this tendency to write FAQs for games I've played and liked. Number 
three, I've got exams but my hands are itchy and can't seem to study so 
I've deceided to write this FAQ. Lastly, I kinda have a lot of free 
time.

  God created the heavens, the earth, and the seas. After creating all
things in the universe, god created humans to rule over this world. Yet,
while possessing the wisdom of god, humans were physically weaker than
the wild beasts, and impulsive in spirit. Many times did the humans come
close to dying out forever. Concerned about the humans' future, god gave
them a mighty force with which to aid them. It was the Seru.
  Since the dawn of human memory, known as history, humans lived
together with creatures known as the Seru. The Seru lived together with
humans, always obeying them, and making the humans many times stronger
than before. When not worn by a human, a Seru looks much like a stone
figure. However...Upon touching a human, a Seru changes form and gives
that human secret abilities. With a Seru, a human can lift extremely
heavy objects and even fly in the air. However, that era came to an end.
  Appearing from out of nowhere, the Mist covered the land, bringing to
an end the world of prosperous symbiosis between humans, rebelled
against them. The Seru began attacking humans at will. Seru that
attached themselves to humans controlled their minds and turned them
into evil beasts.
  As if forsaken by god, human civilization collapsed. It was the
twilight of humanity. Those who escaped the Mist inhabited the desolate
areas and protected each other. Now, their faint hope is their only
source of inspiration.

This can be found in the beginning of the game.

Before starting the FAQ, maybe you would like to know the controls of 
the game, so here they are:

D-pad: Used to walk/run in the direction you want to run. Also used when 
choosing an attack in battle mode.

X: Action button. Use it to talk to people, examine things and use it to 
select the item you want to use or option you want to enter. It can also 
be used in a battle to choose you command. Also used to run instead of 
walk when in a town etc.

Triangle: Brings you to the item menu. 

Circle: Cancel Button.

Square: No use.

L1: No use.

L2: No use.

R1: Run button.

R2: No use.

1.1     R I M  E L M

When the game finally starts, you'll see a guy walking out of his house. 
He'll walk down to this tree called a "Genesis" tree. He bows his and is 
supposed to be praying as he is going hunting with the men of the 
village the next day. You'll get to name him but I'll just use the 
default name Vahn. Suddenly a village elder will appear. He'll talk to 
you about the hunting tomorrow. Answer his question with which ever you 
want to use to answer. After all the talking, go to the other side of 
the Genesis tree and examine the board on the tree. You'll be able to 
see some of your friends houses. After that, walk out and Mei will 
approach you and she'll ask you for your measurements for the hunting 
clothes she's making for you. She'll ask you to meet her at your house. 
Now's your chance to explore the town. This is optional, but I'll write 
the town stuff. So if you don't wanna explore the town, skip to the next 
section.

Ok, look at the numbers. You can visit these people or houses. Who's in 
these houses? Well, they are......

1) Somebody's house. Can't enter it though.

2) Mei and Juno's house. Can't really enter it too. Only at certain 
times like when Juno dies and at night when you are equipped with the 
Ra-Seru.

3) The town chief's house. You can get a healing leaf here. It's in the 
cupboard in the second room.

4) This is where the Genesis tree is.

5) This is your house. You live with your sister and father. You can get 
another healing leaf here. It's also in the cupboard.

6) An item and weapon shop. You cannot buy anything until you save the 
village from the fog. There's a locked drawer on the second floor but it 
doesn't seem to open. There's supposed to be a point card in it. You can 
only get the point card after you leave Rim Elm and come back again.

7) It's not another house here, but a man by the name of Tetsu. He'll 
teach you the basics of fighting, and also your first art. If you don't 
know, art is a special skill that takes up more AP, but inflicts more 
damage.

8) There's a save point here. To save, examine the blue thing and you'll 
be at the memory card slot thingie.

That's about all to do in the village for now.

Back to the game. Go back to your house and Mei will be there. She'll 
talk to NeNe before you enter. So it seems that Mei likes you. Cheeky 
youth, don't get any ideas. Once you enter, she'll take your 
measurements and leave. Talk to your dad and he'll tell you that he's 
not in the mood to chat. Talk to your sister and she'll ask you if you 
have thanked Mei. Choose your answer. Talk to her again and she'll tell 
you that there's something to eat in the cupboard. It's actually a 
healing leaf. Take it. You can explore the town again. After that, go 
back to your house and talk to your dad or sister to sleep.

In the middle of the night, you'll be awoken by your father. He'll ask 
you to go outside to see what's happening. Say yes and leave. Go to the 
weapons shop and talk to the owner to get three healing leaves. Now go 
to Mei's house. Talk to her and choose the first option to get her to go 
to your house. This is to get Mei's pendant when you leave the village. 
Now you can go gain some levels as NeNe will heal you when you talk to 
her, but if you have the Ra-Seru equipped already, then she won't heal 
you.

After raising those levels, talk to the villagers if you like, then head 
to the Genesis tree. Examine the tree and get Meta, Vahn's Ra-Seru. 
After the talking, go back to Vahn's house and talk to your father to 
get the villagers to gather round the Genesis tree. After all that, 
leave Rim Elm and Mei will send you off. She'll give you the hunter 
clothes and her pendant if you saved her. Note the you can now go to the 
shop to buy items etc. You can also get the point card if you leave and 
come back. I advice you to gain some levels and get some cash. It's 
kinda hard to get cash so go fight some monsters.

1.2     H U N T E R ' S  S P R I N G
########################################################################

On the world map, go east. When you see a round, blue circle like thing, 
approach it and you'll be in Hunter's Spring. Talk to the hunters and 
the guy by the name of Lezam. You can repelenish your HP and MP by 
drinking from the mini fountain. You can also get the healing leaf from 
the chest at the lower right hand side. Accept Lezam's offer to save 
Drake Castle. Time to leave.

1.3     D R A K E  C A S T L E
########################################################################

Note: To get Seru abilities, fight a Seru and use your Ra-Seru in your 
attacks. It's not a 100% chance that you'll get the ability, but it's 
good. It takes 10 MP to cast Gimard but it's very powerful for now. You 
probably need it for the boss later.

Drake Castle is north-east of Hunter's Spring.In Drake Castle, get the 
chest when you are outside. Enter Drake Castle. There are a few doors or 
gates in the castle that need to be unlocked. But you might want to 
explore the castle to get some chests, and get the Gimard ability.

Note: In certain rooms, there are bookshelves. There is useful 
information in them. Press X infront of the bookshelve to open it. Also, 
all the keys are encased in a certain thing. It's like yellow in colour.

On the first floor, go to the room on the left to get the Sunrise Key to 
open the gate to the 2nd floor. There is a Healing Leaf in the chest at 
the upper left corner of the main room on the 2nd floor. Take the door 
located at the south (doesn't matter which one you enter because both of 
them are connected). In the next room there is a Fury Boost at the 
bottom, middle left of the screen, where the table in the middle room 
and the falling chair are. After that take the Lightning Key from the 
upper right corner of the room. Proceed to the 3rd floor. There is a 
Survival Knife in the chest in the left room on 3rd floor. Check the 
lower right corner in the same room to get a Magic Leaf. The Star Key is 
on the other room. Take the Healing Leaf on the 4th floor in the chest 
at the upper left corner. Take the door leading south (doesn't matter 
which one) and enter the throne room (the middle one). The left room in 
the throne room is the King's Bedroom where you can find the King's 
letter in the chest and the Mountain Key. The right room is a place 
where you can sleep and recover your HP and MP. Also, there is a save 
point and Fire Book I in the chest. Note that you need Fire Book I to 
learn Vahn's first Hyper art (Tornado Flame). Open the mountain gate and 
exit the castle. Now head to Rikuroa Mountain.

1.4     S N O W D R I F T  C A V E
########################################################################

There's a switch here and you'll now be in command of Noa.There is a 
save point here. Talk to Terra and follow her. She will ask you three 
questions in 3 different places of the cave. The answer of the first 
question is the third choice. The second answer is the second choice. 
After answering the 2nd question, pick up the Healing Shroom on the 
floor. The answer to the 3rd question is the fourth choice. After that 
go to your right and pick up another Healing Shroom. Now enter the 
practice room. There is another Healing Shroom on the left side of this 
room. All you need to do here is to practice to gain some levels and new 
arts. Your enemies are the Red and Black Piura. After each battle you 
can talk to Terra to Replenish your HP and MP. After the 2nd battle is 
you talk to Terra, she will teach you an art. Anyway, from that point 
each time you talk to Terra she will ask if you want to go back to eat. 
Reject her offer as you need to gain some levels first.Actually, after 
you beat all the piuras, she will force you to go back and there's 
nothing you can do about it. Just follow her to the first room where you 
start. Talk to Terra once more in this room before she joins you. Just 
follow the path and exit the cave. Don't forget to pick up another 
Healing Shroom on your way out. You might want to get close to the 
Zeto's dungeon (where the mist come from) and pick up Nail Glove in the 
chest. It's back to Rikuroa Mountain.
 
1.5     R I K U R O A  M O U N T A I N
########################################################################

You will play as Noa and Vahn in this part. First you control Noa until 
you reach the Genesis Tree. Then you'll control Vahn until you join Noa. 
Make sure that Noa has learnt her Tempest Break before you enter Rikuroa
Mountain. Just follow the path and pick up some items in the chests. 
There is a healing leaf in the chest near the save point before you 
enter the cave. Inside the first cave, you can find a Scarlet Jewel and 
a Power Water in the chest. There is a boss waiting for you at the end 
of this cave ( The Golem ). Just concentrate your attacks on him and let 
Terra do the healing job. Use Noa's Tempest Break 3 times and that 
should do the trick. This is an easy battle. You'll get a Guardian Water 
from the Golem. You'll automatic exit the cave. Now enter the second 
cave and take Phoenix from the chest. You can save your game before you 
exit the cave. After the sequence, you will control Vahn again. Just 
follow the path and jump from one stone to the other. Before you reach 
the last stone on the north, take the south path first to pick up Speed 
Elixir in the chest. Now, head back north and enter the cave. You'll 
arrive at a T intersection.
Take the right path first to get some goodies. Follow the path and exit 
the cave. Then enter the second cave.In the second cave, you'll jumping 
again from one stone to another. After you 6th jump, instead of jumping 
up, jump to your right to pick up a Healing Leaf in the chest. Then 
proceed to the top. Follow the path to exit the cave and pick up a Vahn 
Fist from outside. Now head back to the first cave where the T 
intersection is. Take the left path now and pick up a Healing Bloom in 
the chest before you enter the 2nd cave. Save your game at the save 
point before you join Noa to fight Caruban ( the boss ).

STRATEGY
********
A tough fight. Caruban's combos deal about 500+ damage. It's is good to 
have Gimard at a high level, and Vera too. Make sure Noa has learnt her 
TEMPEST BREAK art. My advice would be to spirit up Noa then attack with 
her TEMPEST BREAK while Vahn keeps using Gimard. Once Vahn has used up 
all of his MP, get him to spirit up and then use his most powerful arts. 
If you use this method, you should have no problem in defeating the 
boss. It may not be the best strategy, so don't e-mail me saying that 
you've got a better method.

After the battle, you be able to revive the Genesis tree. Now to head 
back to Drake's Castle. Remember that you'll still have to fight random 
battles although the mist has cleared. 

1.6     B A C K  A T  D R A K E  C A S T L E
########################################################################

Now go back to Drake Castle to get a hero's welcome. You'll also get the 
Water Key.After that, go to the room on left of throne room and check 
the upper left corner for a Platinum Card. Now go back to the previous 
room and enter the room on the right of throne room to have a nap and 
save your game. You can also talk to the people in the castle to gain 
some information. After that go down to the 2nd floor to pick up a 
Healing Leaf in the chest. Back down to the 1st floor, pick up the 
Healing Bloom inside the left room and a Swift Water in the right room. 
There something you can do inside the castle courtyard. When you talk to 
Noa in front of the weapon shop, she'll ask you what money is, answer 
that you don't know and the arms dealer will give you a fighting robe 
for free. Now, when you talk to Noa in front of the item shop, there are 
3 possibilities. You can get 10 Healing Leaves if you answer all of 
Noa's questions correctly. You'll get 5 if you answer 2 questions 
correctly. Finally, you just get a Magic Leaf if you didn't get any 
correct answer. Here is the correct answers :
1. Healing Berry
2. Escape from dungeon
3. Wats
However, there's nothing you gain from Noa's question in front of the 
inn. After Noa rejoins your party, go back to the weapon shop and buy  
better equipment for Vahn and Noa. It's up to you to do whatever you 
wanna do! Then leave the castle.

1.7     B I R O N  M O N A S T E R Y
########################################################################

Once at Biron Monastery, you'll see a lever like switch. Go near it and 
press X to open the door. Once inside,you'll be able to meet the master 
of the monastery as soon as the training for the day has been completed. 
Master Zopu greets you and welcomes you to the monastery. He asks you 
for your names and inquires abiut your journey. You will also meet 
Master Teacher who will later join you for the remainder of the quest, 
and Songi, who's always trying to be as good as Master Teacher, but 
can't.

After you have met Master Teacher and Songi, you will be greeted by 
Maya, Mei's mother whom you are looking for. After talking to Maya, head 
over to the temple's shrine to collect a Power Elixir.

Now head up the stairs to the left of the room and continue through to 
the door in front of you. In the room behind the door, you will be able 
to rest and recover your HP and MP levels. After doing so, go to the 
room at the other end of the hall. This room is not accesible to Vahn, 
but only to women.Noa will then go in and talk to Maya.

After that little chat, go into the room in the middle of the hall. 
Inside you'll find a memory statue so save your game. This is a dinning 
room. Go through the door and you'll be able to buy weapons and items 
from the two dealers there. After you've done your shopping,go out and 
head up the next flight of stairs to reach the next part of the 
monastery.

Master Zopu's quarters are on this level. Master Zopu's quarters is 
behind the door in the middle. Enter his room to get information you 
need to bring you to the next step of your journey. Now for the party. 
Enjoy it for a while, then, when Master Zopu enters, he will give a 
speech. He will also ask you to help save Biron by reviving the two 
Genesis trees near the monastery, one located in East Voz Forest, and 
the other in West Voz Forest. Once you say yes, you'll be transported to 
the main entrance where Master Zopu briefs you on your journey. No 
matter what, you'll have to go to West Voz Forest and Songi will get 
East Voz forest.

After the party and everyone is asleep, Songi plans to get a Seru for 
himself. Hmmm, something's up. The next day, Master Zopu says a few 
words before you leave for your destination. He wishes you good luck and 
blesses you. Now, Master Teacher will join you and you'll find out that 
his name is Gala, and that Master Teacher is his rank.

Go to the very top of the monastery and take the stairs on the left next 
to Master Zopu's room to get to West Voz Forest.

1.8     W E S T  V O Z  F O R E S T
########################################################################

Before actually going to West Voz Forest, you might want to stop by at 
Zeto's Dungon to get the Ivory book. Ok, remember that the forest is no 
place to be fooling around. As you make your way through the forest, you 
come to a "T" intersection. Take the right path to find a chest at the 
end. 

Head left and take the path deeper into the forest, making sure to pick 
up the healing leaf from the chest. In the next part of the forest,there 
is a leaf tunnel on each side of the wooded area. Take the left tunnel 
to collect the Speed Elixir and Fertilizer that you need to use at the 
end of the path. Now head to the right and go through to the other side, 
where there is a chest waiting to be opened. Grab the medicine inside 
and continue up deeper into the forest.

Now make your way into the next area of the forest, where there is 
another chest to the right as you enter the area. In the chest you'll 
find a Magic Amulet. After you have the amulet head to the end of the 
path, where there is a flowing stream. Next to the stream is a small 
plant called Bridge Grass. Now use the fertilizer to make plant grow 
rapidly. There! The Bridge Grass grew so big that you can cross over to 
the tother side.

Cross the bridge and enter the tunnel. Here you go deeper into the 
forest. On the other side of the tunnel, there is another chest 
containing a Door Of Light. Continue up the path where you find another 
chest containing a Noa Feral.

After you have taken the item from the chest, head back down and go 
through the tunnel on the left of the path . Through the tunnel is 
another chest containing a healing bloom.

From here, head down and save your progress before venturing any deeper 
into the forest. Head through the tunnel; on the other side you'll find 
the Genesis tree. 

You discover that the Genesis tree is in very poor health and cannot be 
revived. However, you receive a Ra-Seru Egg from the tree that you can 
use to increase defence against Thunder attacks. While you are looking 
at the Genesis tree, Biron is under attack. Head back to Biron Monastery 
to find out what caused that loud explosion.

1.9     B A C K  A T  B I R O N  M O N A S T E R Y
########################################################################

As you enter the monastery, you notice a lot of mist. Gala will leave 
your party to go and investigate.  There's nothing much you can do here. 
Go to the dinning room and you'll find that the door is locked. Don't 
worry, Master Zopu is inside and he'll tell the guy to open the door. 
Once inside, he'll tell you what happened. That Songi! Betraying Biron. 

After the conversation, go and save your game, then talk to the man 
standing at the top left corner of the room. His name is Kin and he'll 
teach you all each a art. Too bad Gala is not here or else he can learn 
his art too. 

In the next room, talk to the woman standing by the table to have a meal 
and replenish all your HP and MP. You can also get some weapons or stock 
up on items.

If you want, you can explore the monastery to get some items that are 
hidden. Go to barrels or bottles or whatever and you can receive some 
items like a Phoenix and a Healing Leaf. It's also a good time to train 
your characters as you can just cure them by going back it the kitchen. 
Walk around outside of the Dinning room and go back in when you need to 
replenish HP.

Once you've gained a few levels and have everything you need, it's time 
to leave for East Voz Forest. Gala will join you again. I suggest you go 
back and learn Gala's art from Kin and train his levels too. It would be 
vital. Anyway, it's another way to get cash.

Now, we can go to East Voz Forest. Take the door on the right when on 
the top floor where Master Zopu's quarters is.

1.10     E A S T  V O Z  F O R E S T
########################################################################

Ok, take the path to East Voz Forest. Once there, go left. You'll find a 
chest with a Healing Flower in it. Return the way you came and then go 
through the tunnel on the right of the path. Now make your way to the 
next path on the right and locate the chests. In the first chest is a 
Weed Hammer which is used to break hard grass. This will allow you to 
gain access to two more chest.

To use your weed hammer, when you encounter hard grass, press the action 
button to break it. Return to the path near the one where you got your 
Weed Hammer and continue to the next path of the forest. In this new 
area, you have to break through a wall of hard grass. Just after this 
wall, you arrive at a tunnel on your left, which leads to a chest. The 
chest contains a Cure Amulet.

Now make your way up the path deeper into the forest. You come to a wall 
of hard grass that needs to be smashed. There is another tunnel just 
past this point. Beyond the tunnel is yet another blockade of hard 
grass, which prevents you from gaining access to two more chest 
containing a Survival Club and Antidote.

Another tunnel lies ahead. It leads to a chest with a Azure Jewel in it 
at the higher part of the area. Collect the item from the chest and then 
head back down the path to the tunnel on the right.

Once you're on the other side of the tunnel, bust your way through some 
hard grass to get to the next area. Make your way to the end of the path 
to where you see a chest with Medicine in it. Collect the Medicine from 
the chest and head through the tunnel. 

On the other side of the tunnel is a Memory Statue lighting your way to 
the battle ground; be sure to use it. Run forward a bit more to get to 
the battle field. Now you have found the fourth Genesis tree. Before you 
can revive the Genesis tree, Songi comes along to spoil the fun. After 
the conversation and stuff like that, prepare to fight two Viguros.

Use Vahn's Gimard spell because it's probably leveled up by now. Also 
use his TORNADO FLAME when low on MP or alternate. Use Noa's FROST 
BREATH and Tempest Break to deal more damage. You might want to try to 
get the Viguro spell from them as it's quite powerful although it needs 
64 MP. Gala won't be able to do much unless he has leveled up quite a 
bit, so it's best to get Gala to heal your party members. Equip the Ra-
Seru egg for defense against the Thunder Attacks.

After defeating the enemies, go revive the Genesis tree. Gala will now 
also get a Ra-Seru. At first he is reluctant, but later he'll agree to 
accept the Ra-Seru and equip it. His Ra-Seru is Ozma, a Thunder Ra-Seru.

1.11     B A C K  A T  B I R O N  A G A I N
########################################################################

Now head back to Biron to go meet Master Zopu. He'll tell you to go free 
DRAKE KINGDOM from the mist by destroying the mist generator in ZETO'S 
DUNGEON. Gala will now become your permanent partner. 

Maya will also talk to you and will offer a few words on what you should 
do. I suggest you stock up on items before leaving for ZETO'S DUNGEON. 
Go to the item vendor and purchase three DEEP SEA JEWELS and also talk 
to Maya and she'll give you ten Healing Leaves. Time to go.

1.12     Z E T O ' S  D U N G E O N
########################################################################

This is a very well-guarded structure and goes deep into the ground. 
Remember that anytime you want to resurface in a hurry, use your DOOR OF 
LIGHT. It'll bring you back outside , just in case you want to get some 
stuff or replenish HP and MP.

From the bottom of the stairs, make your way into the dungeon by walking 
across the first two narrow bridges to where you see a chest. 

In the chest is the "THUNDER BOOK 1", which is to be used by Gala to 
learn his first HYPER ART move. From the chest, head across to the next 
bridge to the right of the chest. There are chests at the top and the 
bottom of the area. Collect the items from the chest and head back to 
where you came from.

Head straight to the other side of the platform and cross the narrow 
bridge to the near platform. At this point, go to the bottom part of the 
area and collect the FURY BOOST that's in the chest. Now head up the 
small stairs and across the bridge to the next landing.

From this landing, head to the left and collect the HEALING BLOOM from 
the inside the chest. Then go back and to the right side, where you make 
your way across the bridge to another platform. From here, head across 
the long bridge to it's end. Go down the stairs to the SKULL ELEVATOR, 
which leads to the lower level.

As you exit the elevator, you'll see a save point. Go and save your 
game. At the back of the elevator is a hidden chest which contains a 
SHORT SWORD. 

Exit the room and head down the corridoor until you reach a hall that 
cuts off to the right. Take this hall into the room at the end and get 
the shield elixir from the chest. After you've done this, come back to 
the main hallway and head down.

Do the same thing at the next dead-end hallway. Another chest containing 
a PHOENIX is in the room at the end. After this hallway, you reach an 
intersection. Don't turn down the bottom hallway. Continue to the next 
room to collect the MEDICINE in the chest. Now head back and make your 
way down the hallway.

Head straight to the end of this hall way and into the room there. 
Collect the WISDOM WATER in the chest, then head down the hall to the 
right of the area. Take this corridoor to the end and then enter the 
next area.

In this next area, make your way to where there are two doors facing 
each other. Enter each of these rooms and collect the items inside- a 
HEALING BLOOM( top room ) and a TEMPEST JEWEL( bottom room ).

Immediately following these two rooms you come to two more rooms and a 
MEMORY STATUE. Take the stuff in the rooms and save your game as you'll 
have to fight a boss here. As you enter the next room, you'll be greeted 
by Songi, who has been waiting to fight Gala. Gala has to fight alone 
and must be able to win for you to be able to proceed.

This may seem like a tough battle, but it's not. I suggest you equip 
Gala with the DEFENDER CHAIN as it will block most of his attacks, 
minimizing the damage dealt by his combos. Another thing to equip is 
MEI'S PENDANT as it will raise your HP by 10%. You have an advantage as 
Songi isn't very good at blocking. Using Gala's HYPER ART move learnt 
from "THUNDER BOOK 1" is very useful as it deals a lot of damge to 
Songi. Also make sure that Gala has the VERA spell and that it's at 
least at level 2 and this battle will be a piece of cake.

Once you've defeated Songi, ride the SKULL ELEVATOR down to face Zeto. 
From the elevator, make your way through the corridoor. The door at the 
end leads to the mist generator.

Zeto will be protecting the mist generator, so if you want to see DRAKE 
KINGDOM free of the mist, you've got to kill Zeto and destroy the 
generator.

Make sure you equip all your character with the DEEP SEA JEWELS you 
bought earlier. Remember that magic spells don't work well on Zeto, so 
it's better to stick to physical attacks. Have Noa use her TEMPEST BREAK 
and Vahn use TORNADO FLAME. Have Gala use his THUNDER PUNCH on alternate 
turns as you never know when you need him to heal your other characters. 
Another thing to remember is that when you see a message saying, " 
Expect a powerful attack next turn.", have all characters spirit up to 
minimize the damage done.

After the battle, Zeto will disappear into thin air and your Ra-Seru 
will use their powers to destroy the mist generator. DRAKE KINGDOM is 
now free of the mist. YOu party will now leave ZETO'S DUNGEON.

2.1     A N C I E N T  W I N D  C A V E

Here we go to SEBUCUS ISLANDS. And the only way to get there is... to go 
through the ANCIENT WIND CAVE! Once in the cave, you can enter the door 
on the left. behind the door is an old wizard. He will sell you weapons, 
items and even runs an inn. If you sleep at the inn, Noa will dream of 
her mother. Once you're done, it's time to go to the ANCIENT WATER CAVE. 
To get there, you have to pull the switch located at the top left area 
in the next room in the wizard's room. Exit the wizard's room and make 
your way to the door.

You've now in the next area of the cave, heading to the other side of 
the mountain. Along the way through the tunnel, be sure to explore all 
the branching tunnels and get the DOOR OF LIGHT and HEALING BLOOM out of 
the chests before you come upon the witch. 

At the end of the long winding tunnel you meet up with the old water 
witch. She too has items and weapons for you to buy and runs an inn 
where you can rest. She'll force you to take a nap and you'll have a 
dream. You dream that you, Noa and Gala are standing in an unfamiliar 
pace, not far from where you are now. The dream shows what task you must 
accomplish in the near future. After the dream has ended, head out of 
the cave through the back corridor. Once you've exited the cave, you'll 
be at the SEBUCUS ISLANDS. Before you leave, the old water witch will 
give you two DOORS OF WIND and explains how to use them.

Your first destination is JEREMI. The city has been taken over by the 
mist and is infested with Seru monsters. Go to Jeremi and save it's 
people from the mist by reviving the Genesis tree located high above the 
city.

2.2     J E R E M I
########################################################################    

Enter the city and head to your right to find the weapons and items 
shop. Inside you find a chest containing a PHOENIX. Head into the 
basement and empty out the cabinets in the back right-hand corner. 
You'll receive a TARGET CHAIN from the cabinets.

Now exit the building and walk to the middle landing so you can make you 
way further into the city. Go to the left and enter the inn. A set of 
stairs is in front of you. Go down to the basement and collect the POWER 
WATER there. After you have have cleared all the goods from the inn, go 
to the other side of the landing and enter the house.

Inside you find a chest. Grab the HEALING FLOWER inside it and then 
return to the main area. Enter the main tower in the center of the city 
and head to the back door to find the broken elevator. 

Note: You might want to get the GUARDIAN RING from the pub which is 
located at the cabinet behind the bar.

Take the elevator in the left corner up to the next floor. Take the 
elevator just below you to go up another level. After you leave the 
elevator, move up and around the wall to the next elevator. On the next 
floor you find a chest. Take the SPEED RING from itand then head back 
down. Go back around the wall and enter the other elevator at the bottom 
right corner. This takes you to the next floor. Head to the left side of 
the room and hop into the elevator at the upper end. This takes you to 
another floor, where you must find a large switch you must activate. 
This powers up the main elevator.

Head back to the previous floorand enter the elevator in the lower left 
corner. This takes you up to the main elevator and to a door that leads 
outside. From the elevator, go to the door that leads outside. Take the 
stairs up to the memory statue and save your progress. To the left is a 
SPEED ELIXIR. To the right is a FOREST AMULET. If you go in the center, 
you'll encounter BERSERKER.

Now enter the Garden Maze and find the chest hidden inside. Collect the 
SPEED ELIXIR and FOREST AMULET. Now go to the center and challenge 
BERSERKER.

BOSS NO. 5     BERSERKER

This is an extremely diffcult boss to defeat. Make sure you equip the 
FOREST AMULET before going into the battle. You would probably equip it 
on Vahn as he's the one that's probably going to do all the healing as 
his Vera spell would be the most leveled up. BERSERKER routinely attacks 
with a ROT condition and you'll need all the help you can get. Have Noa 
spirit up every other turn and cast TEMPEST BREAKs in-between; this 
should cause around 500 HP damage. If Gala can manage it, have him try 
the DRAGON FANG SUPER ART. Vahn will probably routinely be healing the 
other party members as his Vera spell should be the highest. But if Vahn 
is free, get him to use Zenoir. 

Once you've beaten BERSERKER, you'll receive FIRE BOOK 2. Now to revive 
the Genesis tree. After reviving the Genesis tree, two people will come 
and meet you. After the conversation, go down to the main floor. You'll 
meet the mayor. The mayor will will introduce you to the city and thanks 
you for your good deeds.

Make your way around the city and gather all the information you need to 
make it through the next leg of your quest. The first thing you should 
do is to find Zalan the Jeweler. He asks you to deliver a letter to his 
son Pepe in the village of VIDNA. Then explore the rest of the town and 
talk to the rest of the people especially the ex-Biron monk. Remember to 
tell him that he does not look like a bum. Now to proceed to VIDNA in 
the north.

2.3     V I D N A
########################################################################

When you enter the village of VIDNA, you find serveral people standing 
outside the inn. These people offer you information for a fee. Don't 
bother buying the information from them as a girl inside the inn offers 
you much of the same information for free. Once you're inside the inn, 
head up the stairs to the sleeping quarters and talk to the person there 
to get information on SHADOW GATE. As soon as you've had your fill of 
information, head back downstairs and exit the inn. 

To the left of the inn is an item shop. In the back room you find a man 
who once bought many HEALING LEAVES. Go to the large cupboard and take 
the 10 HEALING LEAVES from it. After you're done purchasing items, head 
outside and travel to the beach area.

On the beach you speak to the vacationing couple and their two children. 
Next to the couple you see some fishing gear. The man gladly gives it to 
you. You can use the equipment at the fishing spot to the east of the 
village.

Your next destination is the house to the far west of the village. Once 
you've entered the house, go into the basement to talk to Danpas. He's a 
man with great ideas but is regarded as crazy by many people. He tells 
you about the shelter he is building in preparation for the coming of 
the mist.

Once he's done telling his story, make your way outside and into the 
neighboring house. In there, you receive a surprise. You meet up here 
with some Biron monks and thir followers. You also will be introduced to 
the messenger of HARI, the DREAM GOD from REM. The messenger's name is 
SASHIA. She has been waiting for you in this village on the orders of 
her master.

Even though your team has never met SASHIA, she claims to have known 
about you ever since the mist covered the earth. She tells you that HARI 
is waiting for you in OCTAM and advises you to make the journey to hear 
his words of wisdom. When she has finished speaking to you, make your 
way outside and travel to the hot springs in the northern part of the 
village.

Enter the building at the hot springs and speak to the owner. He offers 
you free access to the springs. Standing next to the bar is a bearded 
man who gives you a few coins to use in the gambling machine.

Should luck be on your side, the machine coughs up some additional 
coins. You can trade your winnings for items that can help you 
throughout your many days of travel. In the back room you discover a 
woman relaxing in the sauna.

Be sure to talk to her to get a hint concerning one of your future 
destinations. Now that your tour of the hot springs is complete, leave 
through the back door. This takes you to a few houses that are behind 
the building. Here you find Zalan's son PEPE, to whom you deliver the 
letter. Stuck in the village for over 10 years, PEPE has lost all hope 
of seeing his father again. Thankfully, the letter you deliver lets him 
know his father is still alive. Although his mother, YUMA, died as the 
result of an illness, PEPE struggled to survive in the hope that someday 
he'd make it back to JEREMI. PEPE gives you his mother's ring to deliver 
to his father to show him that he's still alive. Before you tackle any 
other tasks, you must return to JEREMI and give YUMA'S RING to Zalan.

In the next house you find 2 children who are waiting for their parents 
to come back. The mother of the children is the woman at the sauna. The 
boy asks you whether you want to hear a song. Say yes and listen 
carefully to what he has to say.

This is a riddle of HARI and how the flying SERU function. When the song 
is over, you must be on your way. Leave the house and go to the Armor 
and Weapons shop to the east of the hot springs. It's now time to stock 
up and prepare for your next adventure. In the back room you find a 
cupboard containing a magic leaf I think.

Collect it, head outside and then enter the building to the right of the 
Armor shop. You'll be in an machanical room that provides the steam 
neede to run the windmills. In the basement, you discover the pumps that 
drive the mills. A number of chest are in the boiling water, but get 
yourself killed trying to open them. You can't do anything in here just 
yet. You must now leave VIDNA and head for JEREMI to give Zalan YUMA'S 
RING.

2.4     R E T U R N  T O  J E R E M I
########################################################################

Once you reach JEREMI, head straight to Zalan's house to give him the 
ring. After telling him the story of his wife's passing and his son's 
good health, you hand him YUMA'S RING. He expresses deep regret that he 
could not be by his wife's side, but you assure him that there was 
nothing he could do. 

Before you leave Zalan's house, he stops you; he has a token of 
appreciation for your good deed. You receive an item called ZALAN'S 
CROWN, which you add to your equipment. Once you have left Zalan's 
house, travel to OCTAM.

2.5     O C T A M
########################################################################

Once you arrive in OCTAM, you see that the town is taken over by the 
mist, but is completely deserted. Not even seru are wandering here. 
After the cutscene has ended, agree with Noa and suggest that it would 
be wise to look around the village for clues to what has happened. 

Make a special note of all you read and see. Not many items to collect 
here, but once you're done, make your way down the stairs and to the 
left of the temple area. Through the door you find a chest containing a 
SWIFT WATER. 

Head back to the stairs and enter the door in the middle of the 
structure. This takes you to the lower part of OCTAM. At the bottom, 
you'll see four totem faces with messages on them. Read all four of the 
messages and remember to write them down if you don't have a good memory 
as you'll need this info in the later part of the game. Remember to read 
them acording to their order or else the secret door won't open.

After reading all four messages in their respective order, a secret 
passage will be revealed when the fourth book moves. Go down and you'll 
discover a elevator. As sdoon as you approach it, Cara, a mysterious 
woman will appears. Cara will tell you what happened to the people of 
OCTAM and where their current whereabouts are. 

Cara also mentions the STAR PEARL which you've been reading about so 
much. It seems that she stole the STAR PEARL sometime ago hoping that it 
would be something. In the end, she pawned it to ZALAN the jeweler in 
Jeremi.

I guess that you'll have to go back to Jeremi again.

2.6     R E T U R N  T O  J E R E M I
########################################################################

Go talk to ZALAN as soon as you return to JEREMI and he'll gladly give 
you the STAR PEARL. Go shopping and stock up on whatever you need, 
especially DOOR OF WINDs. They make travelling faster and you won't have 
to bump into any enemies. Go to the world map and use a DOOR OF WIND to 
get to OCTAM and the journey to the SHADOW GATE will be much shorter.

2.7     S H A D O W  G A T E
########################################################################

To get to the SHADOW GATE, you'll have to cross the small bridge north 
of OCTAM and head right at the sign. You'll pass over one bridge and 
will be at another one which you'll have to cross. Beyond that bridge is 
the SHADOW GATE.

Jsu as you're about to enter the SHADOW GATE, a man by the name of GI 
DELILAS will appear. He will be joined by his brother CHE and sister LU. 
They are the DELILAS family, assasins which you will learn more about 
later on in the game. You are actually supposed to challenge GI DELILAS, 
but it seems that he has more urgent matters to attend to.

Anyway, you must now open the SHADOW GATE by going to the rock surfaces 
which are located at the four corners of the place and giving the 
correct answers to each of the rocks. The four rock surfaces are located  
just like at the lower part of OCTAM.

The answers are: north is earth, south is water, east is wind and west 
is fire. If you are to input the wrong password, you'll have to find 
some easy enemies. If not, the pieces of the puzzle are set in motion, 
the ground shakes and the stone in the middle opens up, and revels some 
kinda of portal. 

This is the door to the undergrtound village of OCTAM. Toss the STAR 
PEARL into the portal and it will open a door. Walk into it and you'll 
be transported beneath the surface.

You're not at OCTAM yet, but will instead be in some underground tunnel 
and must find your way to OCTAM. At the "T" intersection, head right and 
follow that path to the first chest. Grab the HEALING FLOWER inside and 
continue up the path. You'll come to another intersection. Head right 
again and climb the stairs to get the LIFE RING from the chest in the 
small cavern. Go back and return to the intersection. Continue over to 
the left side and up the staris until you reach yet another junction.

Go straight and climb up the stairs into another cavern, get the WONDER 
ELIXIR from the chest and return to the junction. Head left until you 
reach an unevenly tiled floor. At the upper end of the floor is another 
cavern containing a chest. Collect the stuff in it and continue along 
the tiled floor until you've reached another landing. Keep going along 
the floating tiles, collecting FURY BOOST out of any chest you come 
across until you reach the landing with two paths to choose from. Go up 
first to collect the SHIELD ELIXIR from the chest before taking the 
lower path. Make your way down the spiral-edged path until you arrive at 
the underground village of OCTAM.

2.8     U N D E R G R O U N D  V I L L A G E  O F  O C T A M
########################################################################

There's a MEMORY STATUE at the start of the village. Save your progress. 
You would probably want to go to the inn to replenish your HP and MP. 
Once that's done, go restock on your items and stuff. 

Head out of the inn and go left to the Mayor's house. Go to the top 
floor of the house and have a chat with the Mayor. After the talk, go 
out of the house. You'll be knocked down by a guard rushing to tell the 
Mayor some important news. HARI has awakened and the Mayor decides to go 
and see the DREAM GOD HARI.

HARI is in the basement of the Meditation Building. The building is 
south of the Mayor's house. When inside, talk to the Mayor. It seems 
that HARI only wishes to speak to the three heros wearing the RA-SERU.

Go into the basement and you'll see three babies. They are the past 
HARI, present HARI and future HARI. Talk to all of them and remember 
what they say as once you leave the building, a earthquake starts and 
the building collapses. The three spirits of HARI give their final words 
of wisdom.

2.9     F I R E  P A T H
########################################################################

Your next goal is to enter the molten lava area north of the village, 
which is behind the house to the left of the Mayor's house. You did not 
have access to this area earlier, but the Mayor has given you special 
permission to enter this area. Once inside, travel down the path until 
you reach the next open area. Beside the next path is a sunken house; 
you find a chest containing a WISDOM WATER upon entering this area.

Make your way down the path until you come to a cluster of circular 
stepping-stones. Head across to the next cluster of stones. Here you 
notice that the ground is shaking more-- and that this is dangerous to 
the citizens of OCTAM. 

You must rush through the cave door and down the stairs. Make your way 
along the path until you reach another cluster of easy-to-cross 
stepping-stones. The next large pillar you see has a door in its side, 
at the lower part of the area. You find a chest inside holding a MAGIC 
LEAF for you. 

Continue to the next pillar and recover the HEALING BLOOM from its left 
side. Now go down across the wooden walkway and into the right side of 
the pillar. The chest contains a MACE for Gala. Rush back across the 
wooden walkway to the left side of the pillar, and look for the chest 
inside.

Grab the contents of the chest and head to the stone walkway, where you 
find a MEMORY STATUE. Save your progress because you're going to fight a 
boss soon. Make your way along the path to the next area.

You step onto the large rock and float downstream to a rest spot that 
holds a chest. Note that the rock will stop on it's own. Collect the 
contents from the chest, hop back onto the large rock and go to the next 
spot.

You now face XAIN, your next boss. To get him to fight you, you must 
talk to him three times. On the third time, he'll notice that you're 
wearing RA-SERUs. He asks you if you're the enemy. Answer yes and 
prepare to face XAIN's wrath!

BOSS NO. 6     XAIN

STRATEGY

Some of Xain's attacks hit for over 1,000 HP, the TERIO PUNCH hits that 
high for the entire party. When you see a message saying " XAIN is 
saving up his strength ", you can expect a TERIO PUNCH on the next turn. 
Make sure all characters spirit up their next turn when the message is 
displayed as it should reduce the amount of damage dealt. Also, arts are 
not as effective as high level magic, but if you find yourself running 
low on MP, you're better off saving it for healing and trying to slowly 
wear XAIN down. You receive the WIND BOOK 2 for Noa after defeating 
XAIN.

After defeating XAIN, he explodes and a SERU floats around you with a 
message. Unfortunately, although you've saved the UNDERGROUND VILLAGE OF 
OCTAM, VIDNA is in danger. The SERU had frozen the molten lava which 
runs the windmills at VIDNA. Without those windmills, the mist will be 
able to enter VIDNA!

2.10     B A C K  T O  U N D E R G R O U N D  O C T A M 
########################################################################

Before entering the tunnel to the village, head to the right and locate 
the icy walkway, and climb to the top. A large boulder of ice blocks 
your way. Move it away by pressing the L1 button. At the end of the path 
you'll find a chest with a POWER ELIXIR inside. Go back and to where you 
pushed over the boulder and make your way to the village.

Once you're back in OCTAM, wander around the village and speak to its 
citizens to hear their words of thanks. After that, go see the mayor. He 
thanks you and gives you permission to use the elevator to go up to the 
surface. 

After telling him that you are going to VIDNA, he'll ask you to help him 
get some SPRING SALTS. You might want to save your game and have a rest 
to restore your HP and MP before leaving for the surface.

2.11     R E T U R N  T O  V I D N A
########################################################################

As you step into VIDNA, you notice that the mist has taken over the 
town, and that the streets are bare. At the far left side of the village 
is Danpas's house. In the basement you'll find a handful of people 
hiding from the mist.

You should rest here and save your progress. The SPRING SALTS are in the 
machine room near the Armor Shop. Now that the water has cooled, you can 
go get the chest at the bottom floor of the machine room. As soon as 
you've collected the SPRING SALTS, return to UNDERGROUND OCTAM to give 
it to the mayor.

2.12     R E T U R N  T O  U N D E R G R O U N D  O C T A M
########################################################################

Take the elevator from the surface to the underground village of OCTAM. 
Go to the mayor's house to give him the SPRING SALTS. The mayor tells 
you that the SPRINGS SALTS are for his bath, and hence were not 
important. But in return for getting him the SPRING SALTS, the mayor 
gives you a SLOWNESS CHAIN and tells you about the the whereabouts of 
the next Genesis tree. It is near RATAYU, at the far northwestern part 
of the islands. Now to go to RATAYU.

2.13     R A T A Y U
########################################################################

The first thing that you must do is to go to the back of the town and 
you'll get to a castle. The castle is built into the mountainside. 
Flights of stairs lead up to it. 

As you enter the castle, head to the rear and take the stairs to the 
upper part of the room. Walk around the suspended floor to the middle 
door at the rear. Once through the door, go straight to the throne to 
meet the town's ruler. He is SARYU and is possessed by a SERU.

Although possessed by a SERU, SARYU is still able to speak to you. He 
gives you the LETONA KEY whichs gives you access to MT.LETONA and the 
Genesis tree. The gate to MT.LETONA is near the beginning of the town at 
the far right. When you arrive at the gate, Vahn inserts the key and you 
begin your next quest.

2.14     M T .  L E T O N A
########################################################################

Once you pass through the gate, you find a Memory Statue at the side of 
the path leading up the mountain. Save your progress and continue along 
the mountain path. When you enter the next area, your RA-SERU senses 
that the Genesis tree is nearby. You must hurry to the summit of the 
mountain to revive it.

As you make your way up the path, you come to a junction. The path that 
cuts off to the left leads to two chests that contain a MAGIC LEAF and a 
WISDOM RING.

As you reach the end of the path, you see a tunnel opening directly in 
front of you. Enter the doorway and follow the path to the end. You find 
another chet in the area. Get the GUARDIAN WATER and head back to main 
path.

From the tunnel's entrance, continue to the right and up the side of the 
mountain towards the summit. Along the way you'll see a small path 
leading down to a chest.

Get the POWER RING from it and continue along the path to the top of the 
mountain. You now enter a large cavern with multiple paths. Don't bother 
heading up the first path because there is nothing there. Turn up the 
path at the intersection and continue until you reach the next left 
turn. This takes you to two chest outside.

Take the INCENSE and HEALING BLOOM from the chests and go back to the 
intersection. Go past it and up into the mountain. At the end of the 
path you'll come to a clearing and find a chest nearby. 

Collect the WISDOM WATER from the chest, you must go to another part of 
the mountain where there are a couple of paths. Go right from there to 
reach another chest with a HEALING FRUIT. Go and save your game at the 
Memory Statue before you leave the cavern. 

Make your way up the side of the mountain to arrive at the summit. At 
the summit, you find the Genesis tree. But the Genesis tree is protected 
by a strange forcefield. 

It's Songi's doing. He erected the forcefield to prevent you from 
reviving the Genesis tree. If you touch it, you'll get an electric 
shock. The only way to remove the forcefield is to find Songi. To find 
him, you must began to walk back down the mountain when suddenly Songi 
appears walking up. Songi will be more than willing to remove the 
forcefield as long as you defeat him.

BOSS NO. 7     SONGI

Songi has some powerful attacks. Make sure you heal often as his HYPER 
LIGHTNING and HYPER CRUSH attacks can cause about 900+ damage. Try using 
HEALING FLOWERs to conserve magic. Always try to spirit up your 
characters and unleash your arts. 

You'll receive the THUNDER BOOK THREE for Gala after beating Songi. 
Songi keeps his word after being defeated and removes the forcefield. He 
then leaves and you focus your attension on the reviving the Genesis 
tree. After reviving the tree, your SERUs will level up and it's time to 
head down the mountain.

                             ART MOVES
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Art moves are skills you can learn by going into a battle and just 
pressing a combination of Highs, Lows, Rights and Lefts. Other art moves 
are learnt by reading books or getting other people to teach you. This 
section is optional, so if you want to figure it out yourself, DON'T 
READ THIS! But on the other hand, there are those that are too lazy to 
do that, so just look here! They deal more damage than a normal attack 
but they naturally take more AP. Remember that you need enough AP to 
activate the skill you want to use. Legend: L= Left, R= Right, U= Up, D= 
Down. These were contributed by my friend so I dunno whether they are 
all correct, but they should be. If there are any errors, please e-mail 
me.

Something to know:

NORMAL ARTS moves can be guessed, taught by people or read in books. 
They require the least ammount of AP but do not deal as much damage as 
HYPER ART, SUPER ART and MIRACLE ART moves. As you reach higher levels, 
it is possible to put about three arts into one attack.

HYPER ARTS moves can only be learnt by reading the appropriate arts 
book. Vahn learns his HYPER ARTS from FIRE BOOKS, Noa learns her HYPER 
ARTS from WIND BOOKS, and Gala learns his HYPER ARTS from THUNDER BOOKS.

SUPER ARTS are not new moves. In fact, they are two or more of your arts 
mixed together to get a SUPER ART. Yes they are more powerful than 
NORMAL ARTS, but require more AP.THey are also not recorded in your arts 
menu in the fighting screen, so you should remember them by heart or 
print this FAQ out for reference or write them down on a piece of paper.

MIRACLE ARTS are the ultimate moves. They require so much AP and space 
in your attack bar that you probably won't even have space for another 
punch or kick. Judging from their names, you'd probably guess that they 
deal a lot of damage. You've right. They do. But you need to be of 
certain level to be able to activate this move. Another thing is, each 
character only has one MIRACLE ART.

Vahn's arts

HYPER ELBOW( <, >, < ) 

The HYPER ELBOW attack uses 18 AP and is a valuable part of your 
arsenal. Select this skill to attack enemies that are lower to the 
ground than yourself. You'll have a much more effective attack as you 
thrust your elbow into an enemy's skull.

ART:
SOMERSAULT( ^, V, ^)

Use the SOMERSAULT on floating enemies and taller characters. You give a 
few shots to the body first and then throw yourself into a backflip-like 
motion. Although it is an impressive-looking move, the SOMERSAULT is not 
always accurate. This move requires 18 AP. 

ART:
CROSS-KICK( v, v, v, ^ )

The CROSS-KICK is a kick attack that hits the enemy with a couple of 
shots to the body, followed by a pair of sweeps to the enemy's legs. If 
the enemy is weak enough, it'll will fall due to the leg sweeps. The 
CROSS-KICK is best used against enemies found in the Sebucus Islands. 
This move requires 24 AP, but if you want to knock weaker enemies off 
their feet, this is the method you should employ.

ART:
POWER PUNCH( <, <, v )

The POWER PUNCH is a two-handed attack that can cause a lot of damage to 
the internal organs. This move is more effective against enemies that 
are not able to block your attack. Use this move as much as possible in 
the early rounds. This attack requires 18 AP. 

ART:
PYRO PUMMEL( <, >, ^, < )

Selecting the PYRO PUMMEL over the POWER PUNCH will greatly increase 
your success rate. The PYRO PUMMEL is helpful against those flying 
enemies that you can't reach very well. This move requires 24 AP.

ART:
SPIN COMBO( ^, v, >, < )
   
This complex spinning attack causes your opponent to fall to his or her 
knees. Although it's not a truly powerful move, it does a fine job on 
bigger opponents. This move requires 24 AP.

ART:
HURRICANE( ^, ^, v, v )

The HURRICANE attack is kinda like a forward somersault that whacks your 
opponent on the head followed by a jab. The damage done is extensive and 
long lasting. It requires 24 AP.

ART:
CYCLONE( v, ^, ^, ^ )

The CYCLONE is an attack aiming for the higher parts of an opponents 
body. It's better to use on flying or taller creatures as it misses a 
few punches when hitting a low enemy. It requires 24 AP.

ART:
PK COMBO( v, ^, ^, < )

A combination of three kicks to the torso followed by two punches is 
what this attack is all about. Useful against normal sized creatures. It 
requires 24 AP.

ART:
SLASH KICK( ^, v, < )

A few strikes to the body followed by a side kick to the face which is 
swift. How's that for knocking some sense into an opponent's head. It 
requires 18 AP.

ART:
CHARGING SCORCH( v, >, ^ )

Two quick body shots and a flaming charge to your opponent's stomach. 
Adds a little pain into your opponent's life. It requires 18 AP. 

ART:
TORNADO FLAME( >, >, < )HYPER ART

The TORNADO FLAME is a attack like a rising burning uppercut to the 
torso to your oponent. It inflicts quite a bit of damage but consummes 
30 AP. But still, it's quite worth it. Requires "FIRE BOOK 1"

ART:
FIRE BLOW( >, >, v, < )HYPER ART

The FIRE BLOW is a wonderful finisher to kill your weakened opponents. 
Once weakened, apply this finish to do the job. It's stronger than 
TORNADO FLAME but requires 40 AP. Requires "FIRE BOOK 2"

ART:
BURNING FLARE( >, v, <, v, < )HYPER ART

The third of its kind is the BURNING FLARE. It requires 50 AP and you 
need the "FIRE BOOK 3" to learn it. A beautiful finisher that scorches 
your opponent by raising your hand high and unleashing a mighty stream 
of flames.

ART:
VAHN'S CRAZE( >, v, <, ^, <, ^, >, v, < )MIRACLE ART

The best of the best, ultimate combo Vahn will ever have. Vahn's craze 
is a sequential combination of all his art moves. It deals a hugh amount 
of damage and we know that as you need to do at about level 28 and use 
spirit to be able to excute this wonderful power. It requires a whooping 
99 AP

Noa's arts
----------

ART:
LIZARD TAIL( ^, v, ^ )

The first art you'll learn. Terra will teach it to you after practicing 
on the Red and Black Piuras and get healed at least once. Noa will 
perform a back somersault and kicks the opponent in the chin. Something 
like Vahn's SOMERSAULT move, and it's not very strong. It requires 18 
AP.

ART:
BLIZZARD BASH( >, <, v )

Something like a slam dunk from basketball. After a few blows to the 
opponents body, Noa will leap into the air and slam the enemy on the 
head. It is a good move at the beginning and it requires 18 AP.

ART:
DOLPHIN ATTACK( >, >, <, > )

Noa does a spiral jump in combination with a few shots to the body. It 
is pretty effective as it is using lefts and rights. Notice that lefts 
and rights have a higher chance of hitting an opponent than highs and 
lows. This attack requires 24 AP.

ART:
SWAN DRIVER( v, ^, ^, ^ )

This attack unleashes multiple kicks to the abdomen. If this skill is 
used on a large and is able to block easier than other opponents, you 
may not get the desired effect you want. This skill requires 24 AP.

ART:
TEMPEST BREAK( >, >, <, ^, ^, ^ )

A very powerful attack. Noa can cause striking transformations to an 
opponent's body with the TEMPEST BREAK. First a few kicks followed by 
using her hands to pierce the skin, causing a lot of damage. THe TEMPEST 
BREAK need 36 AP, worth it for something so powerful.

ART:
TOUGH LOVE( v, ^, v, <, > )

Noa does a few up/down hits and follows them up with a reversed heart 
toss, causing your opponents to love her to death. Another really 
valuble skill to Noa's list. It requires 30 AP.

ART:
ACROBATIC BLITZ( ^, v, v )

Being the most agile of the group, Noa performs this move with grace. A 
shot to the head and then to the body is followed by a forward flip that 
drives her two feet into the skull of her opponent. This move requires 
18 AP.

ART:
SONIC JAVELIN( >, v, > )

Being a combination of skill and power, Noa delivers a powerful and 
deadly supersonic punch to the opponent. This move requires 18 AP.

ART:
RUSHING GALE( ^, ^, <, v, > )

A elegant triple kick is what the RUSHING GALE is all about. Noa 
performs the immpossible to knock the opponent senseless. THis is a 
great all round attack. It requires 30 AP.

ART:
BIRD STEP( v, v, v, ^ )

THe BIRD STEP involves hitting the enemy with a pair of blows to the 
torso, then flying up in the air and stomping on the enemy's head a few 
times. Best against midrange enemies, most found in the Sebucus Islands. 
THis move requires 24 AP.

ART:
MIRAGE LANCER( >, >, ^, ^ )

This is an elegant ballet-style move. The move involves a charge strike 
to the body and then, as she pushes off the enemy into the air, she 
applies two more shots to the head area. It needs 24 AP to use.

ART:
FROST BREATH( <, <, >, > )HYPER ART

This move is aquired after getting the "WIND BOOK 1". A large tornado 
spirals up from the enemies' feet and twirls them. This a quite a strong 
attack but it takes 40 AP.

ART:
VULTURE BLADE( <, <, >, <, > )HYPER ART

The VULTURE BLADE is a graceful move that begins with the arms swinging 
in a circular motion, Tai Chi fashion. THe attack then proceeds with Noa 
ripping into her opponents chest cavity with her bare hands without 
spilling a drop of blood. This impressive move requires 50 AP and you 
need the "WIND BOOK 2".

ART:
HURRICANE KICK( <, ^, ^, ^, ^, v, > )HYPER ART

To do some serious damage, use this. It needs the "WIND BOOK 3" and 
requires 70 AP. But, Noa attacks your opponents with a flood of kicks to 
the torso, causing death in circumstances.

ART:
NOA'S ARK( <, ^, >, v, ^, <, ^, v, > )MIRACLE ART

The best of the best for Noa. Her ultimate move. Nothing can get better 
than this. NOA'S ARK is a sequential attack of all her art moves. It 
requires 99 AP, but it's worth it for the ammount of damage done.

Gala's arts
-----------

ART:
FLYING KNEE ATTACK( v, ^, < )

Gala rams his knee into his opponent which stuns him for a moment. This 
is probably one of the first arts you'll learn for Gala and is also one 
of the weakest. Probably more for weakening enemies for absorbing their 
seru powers. It requires 18 AP.

ART:
BATTERING RAM( <, >, v )

Gala charges into his opponent to deliver the damage. Another art 
requiring 18 AP. It is also another one of Gala's weakest arts which 
will probably be one of the first arts Gala will learn.

ART:
GUILLOTINE( <, ^, < )

18 AP is required for this attack. More effective against lower leveled 
enemies but not so on higher leveled ones. The attack involves a mighty 
blow to the head from Gala's right arm. 

ART:
BACK PUNCH( <, >, < )

Gala performs a back punch to his opponents face. Like other arts, it 
requires 18 AP and is one of Gala's weaker arts which will probably be 
one of the first arts Gala will, again.

ART:
HEAD SPLITTER( <, ^, ^ )

How about splitting open an enemy's head? Sounds good huh? Well, not a 
bad attack. Yet again, it is one of Gala's weakest arts and requires 18 
AP.

ART:
IRON HEAD( ^, v, v )

How about another head attack to add to Gala's list. A not so strong 
attack which requires 18 AP again. More powerful against enemies that 
are standing and are less effective against enemies lower to the ground.

ART:
BLACK RAIN(^, <, v, v )

Gala leaps into the air and comes down hard onto your opponent's head. 
This attack requires 24 AP and is usually a better way to deal with 
weaker enemies as it can kill them in one blow.

ART:
SIDE KICK(v, v, ^, ^ )

Gala attacks his opponent's torso and works his way down to a low kick 
and powerful slide kick. This attack requires 24 AP and is better when 
faced with enemies from the SEBUCUS ISLANDS.

ART:
BULL HORNS( <, ^, >, v, < )

A series of blows follwed by a forceful attack to the opponent's upper 
body. A good amount of damage done to an unexpecting enemy. Definitely a 
more powerful attack but requires 30 AP.

ART:
NEO RAISING( <, <, >, ^, < )

Another 30 AP using attack. Powerful too. Learnt probably much later 
into the game, when you've reached about level 20 I think. Worth your 
AP.

ART:
ELECTRO THRASH( ^, <, v, >, < )

Thrash your opponent with this attack that requires 30 AP. Yet another 
one of Gala's more powerful arts which again will probably learnt only 
when your levels are at about 20 or so.

ART:  
THUNDER PUNCH( >, >, < )HYPER ART

Requires 30 AP and Gala's thunder hyper art book. Very powerful at the 
first part of the game. But due to the amount of AP it uses, you might 
not be able to use it many times without using your spirit. Gala 
electrifies his opponent, making them nice and crispy.

ART:
LIGHTNING STORM( >, >, ^, < )HYPER ART
