    This is a total item list for Legend of Legaia by Contrail and Prokion. 
    I do not list weapons and armor items (except Astral Sword).  It is
    Copyright 1999 by Mastermind.  This FAQ may only be redistributed and/or
    copied if due credit is given to me.
    *Note* when I say "he" in referring to a character, I am also referring
    to Noa but am too lazy to keep writing he/she.

    AP ACCESSORIES
    _Mettle Ring_wearer's AP accrual is increased by 10%
    _Mettle Armband_wearer's AP accrual is increased by 25%
    _Zalan's Crown_wearer's AP accrual is increased by 10%
    _Seru Flame_wearer's AP accrual is increased by 25% (see "miscellaneous
    items")
    _Mettle Source_wearer's AP is restored as you move around 
    _Mettle Gem_wearer's art moves consume half as much AP
    _Mettle Goblet_wearer always has 100 AP
    _Fire Droplets_according to an e-mail I received, this has the same
    effect as Mettle Goblet
    
    MAGIC ACCESSORIES
    _Magic Ring_increases wearer's maximum MP by 10%
    _Magic Armband_ioncreases wearer's maximum MP by 25%
    _Magic Grail_wearer gains 20 MP at the end of every turn in battle
    _Magic Source_wearer's MP is restored as you move around 
    _Spirit Jewel_wearer's spells consume 25% as much MP
    _Spirit Talisman_wearer's spells consume half as much MP
    
    LIFE ACCESSORIES
    _Life Ring_increases wearer's maximum HP by 10%
    _Life Armband_increases wearer's maximum HP by 25%
    _Life Grail_wearer gains 200 HP at the end of every turn in battle
    _Life Source_wearer's HP is restored as you move around 
    _Mei's Pendant_increases wearer's maximum HP by 10%
    _Minea's Ring_increases wearer's maximum HP by 25%
    _Lost Grail_when wearer loses all HP in battle, he is revived to full HP
    one time
    
    COMBAT ACCESSORIES
    _Astral Sword_actually a weapon that only Vahn can use.  Increases ATK
    by 97, but is very slow 	and makes the "Arms" command about 1.5 times
    bigger.
    _War Soul_increases the power of all the owner's art moves
    _War God Icon_whatever series of attacks the wearer puts in, the attack
    will be performed twice 	in a row
    _Evil Medallion_the owner does a random string of art moves up to 15 
    _Warrior Icon_if the owner is attacking, and is attacked before he does,
    he will sometimes 		counterattack and cancel the enemy's attack
    _Unholy Icon_the owner's attacks will do damage even when blocked
    _Golden Compass_increases chances of ambushing the enemy
    _Silver Compass_decreases chances of being ambushed by enemy
    _Target Chain_the enemy will block less of the owner's hits
    _Speed Chain_owner gets the first turn in all battles
    _Slowness Chain_owner gets the last turn in all battles
    _Guardian Chain_neither the owner nor the enemies he attacks can block
    
    ESCAPING ACCESSORIES
    _Chicken Heart_increases your chances of escaping battles
    _Chicken Safe_increases defense while you attempt escape
    _Chicken Guard_prevents enemies from escaping
    _Chicken King_allows you to successfully escape from all non-boss
    battles
    
    ACCRUAL ACCESSORIES
    _Golden Book_you get 25% more G when you win a fight
    _Bronze Book_you usually earn an item after winning a battle
    _Crimson Book_the owner gets twice as much EXP after winning a battle
    _Evil God Icon_when the owner kills an enemy, he will usually steal an
    item from the enemy
    _Ivory Book_the owner will have greater chances of absorbing spells when
    killing a seru
    
    ENCOUNTER ACCESSORIES/ITEMS
    _Good Luck Bell_accessory that decreases your encounter rate
    _Bad Luck Bell_accessory that increases your encounter rate
    _Nemesis Gem_accessory that increases your encounter rate (see
    "miscellaneous items")
    _Incense_item that decreases your encounter rate for a little while
    
    DEFENSIVE ACCESSORIES
    _Defender Chain_holder blocks more consecutive attacks
    _Cure Amulet_nullify all venom attacks on holder
    _Pure Amulet_nullify all venom and toxic attacks on holder
    _Forest Amulet_nullify all rot attacks on holder
    _Nature Amulet_nullify all numb attacks on holder
    _Stone Amulet_nullifies all stone attacks on holder
    _Magic Amulet_nullify all curse attacks on holder
    _Wonder Amulet_nullify all abnormal status attacks on holder
    _Earth Jewel_increases holder's defense against earth powers
    _Burning Jewel_increases holder's defense against fire powers
    _Madlight Jewel_increases holder's defense against thunder powers
    _Tempest Jewel_increases holder's defense against wind powers
    _Luminous Jewel_increases holder's defense against light powers
    _Deep Sea Jewel_increases holder's defense against water powers
    _Ebony Jewel_increases holder's defense against dark powers
    _Rainbow Jewel_increases holder's defense against all elemental powers
    _Light Talisman_increases defense against light powers and the holder
    may cast the "horn" spell
    _Dark Talisman_increases defense against dark powers and the holder may

    _Earth Talisman_increase defense against earth powers and holder may

    *Note* each elemental talisman is originally a Ra-Seru egg of the same
    name (with "talisman" replaced by "egg"), Zalan of Jeremi changes the
    eggs into talismans 
    _Evil Talisman_nullifies some status problems and the holder may cast
    the "juggernaut" spell

    _Power Ring_increases holder's ATK by 20%
    _Azure Jewel_increases holder's LDF by 20%
    _Scarlet Jewel_increases holder's UDF by 20%
    _Guardian Ring_increases holder's UDF and LDF by 20 %
    _Wisdom Ring_increases holder's INT by 20%
    _Speed Ring_increases holder's SPD by 20%
    _Vitality Ring_extends holder's AGL gauge
    
    FISHING STUFF
    _Light Lure_used to catch mainly small fish (16-30 pts)
    _Normal Lure_used to catch mainly medium fish (16-70 pts)
    _Heavy Lure_used to catch mainly large fish (69-400 pts)
    _Old Rod_used when you have no other rods
    _Deluxe Rod_better "Hit" rate than the Old Rod
    _Legendary Rod_best "Hit" rate of the three rods
    
    LIFE ITEMS
    _Healing Leaf_restores 200 HP to target
    _Healing Shroom_restores 200 HP to target
    _Healing Bloom_restores 200 HP to all allies
    _Healing Flower_restores 800 HP to target
    _Healing Fruit_restores 800 HP to all allies
    _Healing Berry_restores all HP to target
    
    MAGIC ITEMS
    _Magic Leaf_restores 50 MP to target
    _Magic Fruit_restores 200 MP to target
    
    STATS ITEMS
    _Power Water_permanent +4 to target's ATK
    _Swift Water_permanent +4 to target's SPD

    _Fury Boost_extends target's AGL gauge for the battle
    _Speed Elixir_increases target's SPD for the battle
    _Shield Elixir_increases target's UDF and LDF for the battle
    _Power Elixir_increases target's ATK for the battle
    _Wonder Elixir_increases all of target's stats for the battle
    _Phoenix_brings a target back to life when "faint" with half his maximum
    HP
    _Antidote_cures target of venom
    _Medicine_cures target of all abnormal status
    _Lippian Flute_used to summon the Lippian to attack for you
    _Spikefish Flute_used to summon the Spikefish which allows you to escape
    
    TELEPORTERS
    _Door of Light_teleports you out of dungeons and other unfriendly areas
    _Door of Wind_teleports you from the field screen to any place you've
    been to 
    
    MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS
    _Fertilizer_makes plant in East Voz Forest grow a bridge
    _Weed Hammer_breaks crystal weeds that block paths in the Voz Forests
    _Point Card_5% of the price of anything you buy in a store is put on the
    card.  During a battle, 	you may hit a target with damage equal to the
    amount of points on the card.  If the points 	are more than 9999, it
    will do 9999 damage to the target and leave the remaining points 	on the
    card for further use
    _Platinum Card_allows you to buy special items in certain shops
    _Gold Card_allows you entry into Sol's disco
    _Soru Bread_put them in the Sage treasure chests in Sol
    _Soren Flute_used the first time you reach the top of Mt. Dhini to
    summon the Soren
    _Ruins Key_allows you entry into Uru Mais
    _Fire Droplets_allows Dr. Usha to make TimeSpace bombs
    _TimeSpace Bombs_used to blow up stuff in Nivora Ravine
    _Nemesis Gem_allows you entry into the Absolute Fortress
    _Elemental Books_these include the Fire/Wind/Thunder Books I, II, and
    III.  Use them on their 	respective characters to make the character
    learn one of his Hyper Arts
    _Other Books_including the Soren Book of Arts and Mary's Diary, you give
    them to specific 	people in order to learn new Arts
    _Camera Stone_allows you to take pictures at specific locations
    _Swimsuit_you get it if you win the dance contest, buy a camera stone in
    Vidna and have the 	little girl on the beach take your picture
    _Sheet Music_gotten from Cara, bring it to the piano player in Sol's
    Jazz Club
    _Spring Salts_bring them to the mayor of Octam
    _Seru Flame_used to travel back to Conkram in the past
    _West Ratayu Key_used to open door on the west side of Ratatyu leading
    to Dohati's Castle
    _Genesis Seedling_turns into the Genesis Tree in Sol
    _Evil Seru Key_used to open Juggernaut Room in Ratayu
