+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Introduction and how to use this FAQ | IDXA000 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I always try to write my walktroughs that way that you only have to use them
when you are hopelessly stuck in a game. This makes I may make often references
to other parts of the FAQ, as I assume you use this FAQ that way, and are not
playing this game with this file constantly beside you.

To make this FAQ easy to look things up in, all sections of the game have been
given a IDX code. Look the section you are at up in the index, open a search
window (Ctrl-F in Windows and Linux, Apple-F in MacOS X) and type over the
IDX code and let the computer search to find the right section.

Dungeons may have multiple rooms. Each time a new room is there, I'll start
the line with a "-", and I use "=" as a sum up character if a room has
multiple actions.

Next, I know it's obvious, but you can change the characters names. It'll be
a lot easier to use my FAQ (or those of my fellow FAQ-writes) if you leave
the names to their default settings. In this FAQ I use the default names.

At the start of each section or boss fights you see my characters and a number
behind it. Those numbers are MY levels. No recommendations of any sort. When
you never played an RPG game before I recommend that you are higher than I
was. When you are an expert RPG player forget that I noted those levels in
the first place. (And save yourself the trouble complaining that my levels
are too low. Levelling up is for wheenies and sissies, or for those who never
played an RPG game before. I like a challenging game, not to bore myself to
death with hanging around in the same location just to get certain levels.
The game is easy enough to beat with low levels).

Then one note on Seru monsters. Once your character has a Ra-Seru he/she can
absorb Seru enemies. This is a matter of luck, and requires that you beat an
enemy without using magic. I hardly use those seru spells you acquire with
that, I only recommend to absorb Vera, Orb and Spoon and only use your magic
on summoning those. The rest of the Serus are just a waste of magic, if you
absorb them, very nice, if you don't, then don't go crazy to get them. Ok?

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Seru Elements | IDXA001 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
At the start of each dungeon, I'll note which serus you can find (if they
are available). With that I also use a letter to indicate which element they
are.
D = Darkness
E = Earth
F = Fire
I = Ice/Water
L = Light
T = Thunder
W = Wind

You only have three characters during this game:

*** Vahn
    Hero of the story
    Ra-Seru: Meta - Fire
    Good: Average
    Bad: Nothing in particular

*** Noa
Girl brought up by a wolf. Overexcited but she means well.
Ra-Seru: Terra - Wind (very odd name for a wind being, I know)
Good: Extremely fast, and can make huge combo's in one turn
Bad: Weak, and arts require a lot of hits

*** Gala
Warrior monk of the Biron teachings.
    Ra-Seru: Ozma - Thunder
    Good: Strong and good defense
    Bad: Extremely slow

The game starts with the character Vahn in Rim Elm at the Genisis Tree.
Good luck.

Seru: (F) Gimard
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This is a pretty long section for the start already. I'll cut it in
sub-sections if you don't mind

Start:
Leave the Genisis tree and go up the stairs.
You'll meet the girl Mei. She's making hunter clothes for you and wants to
measure you again. Agree to be measured again. After the chat Mei will go to
your house. You should go there yourself. The house is south-east of town
just north of the beach. Once inside Mei will do her measuring work.
Open the cubboard to get a healing leaf. Leave the house.
Go to the beach. Here you'll meet a Biron Monk named Tetsu. Ask him to
practise together. Now you'll get in a fight. This fight is nothing serious
only a tutorial in which Tetsu will teach you how the fighting system of this
game works (which is quite unique and worth mentioning).

The hunters return:
After your training sessions the hunters will come back from the hunt.
Things are pretty terrible. After a lot of talk you'll be at Mei's home
Leave Mei's home. Go to your own home and talk to your dad (Val). He asks
if you wanna rest. Say "yes".

Mist in town:
Things are getting strange. Your father wakes you up and asks to check on
the wall. Say "yes". Leave your home. Go to the wall and talk to the elder.
Now Zeto will appear and unleash a huge monster (you'll get to know what
kind of monster that is later) and destroy the wall. Zeto and the monster will
leave but the village will be filled with mist with all the concequences that
are tied to that. After that you'll get your first battle with a Gimard. This
battle is easy, so doncha worry. After that go to the Genisis Tree.
Examine the genisis tree and you'll meet the Ra-Seru Meta. It will ask if you
want to save the people from the mist. Say "yes". Now Meta will propose in
working together. Accept this proposal. After that Meta will attach itself
to Vahn's body.
Now leave the Genisis Tree and go back into town.
Go into your house. Talk to Val. After that all the village people will
gather around the tree. Together everybody will revive the first Genisis Tree
of the many that are going to follow in this game.
After all this there will be a funeral for the victims of this incident.

Time to leave:
The elder will ask you to look for Mei's mom who may still be at Biron
Monastery. Accept this request. Before worring about that you'll have other
missions first.
When you leave the city, Mei will come and give you the Hunter Clothes.

After going to the worldmap, I recommend that you go back to town
and go to the top floor of the store. You will find a point card in the
drawer beside the bed. That item is very valuable and when used in certain
battles it can be the best key to victory. Only use it when I recommend you
to.

Then back on the worldmap. This is gonna be long and boring, but it IS
needed to get acros the first dungeons (alas). Try to save up some money to
so you can buy healing leafs, and make sure you got 10 or so before proceeding
to the next spot.

Vahn 4
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Follow the road from Rim Elm to find it at the north of the road
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Upon arrival some people will talk to you. They'll point to a man named Lezam.
Talk to him. Say "Tell me why you are so grateful". He'll ask you to save
Drake Kingdom. Say "Yes". After the talk head for Drake Kingdom.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Vahn 4
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Seru: (F) Gimard
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
From the Hunter's Spring follow the road north and west. You'll find the
kingdom at the end of the road
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You'll find this place completely engulfed in the mist. So I'm afraid the
king will be unavailable for awhile.

- Go north and enter the castle
- Go up the stairs then west and take the door there
- Examine the glittering and you'll find a case with the "Sunrise key".
Open that case and take the key. Exit south
- Go east to the middle door and exit through it
- Go up the stairs and exit north
- Go east and take the exit south at the end
- There is a case next to the door, open it to get the "Lightning Key"
  Exit north
- Open the northdoor and exit north
- Go up the stairs and exit north
- Go east and exit south
- Open the cast next to the door for the "Star Key" and exit north
- Open the north door and exit north
- Go up the stairs and exit north
- Go west and exit south
- Go east and take the first door north
- Go north and exit north through the left door
- The seru-monster in the cage is King Drake. When you open the chest
you'll find a note in which the situation here is explained.
At the northwall is a case. Open it to get the mountain key and exit south.
(there's nothing you can do for the king right now).
- Take the door on the right side of the throne
- Meta will suggest to take a rest. Do so. During your sleep Meta will
appear in your dream and explain a few things.
After the rest open the chest for the "Fire Book I". With that book you
can perform your first Hyper Art. Read it to learn "Tornado Flame".
  Exit south
- Go south, exit south
- Go east, exit north
- Go to the north door and open it with the mountain key. Exit north

Now this dungeon is completed. Let's go to the next dungeon.
Just follow the road to get there, however upon your arrival the game will
immediatly switch to Noa who is elsewhere on the world now.

- Go to the northeast where Terra is waiting for you.
  Exit north-east
- = Go north
  = Around the corner west
  = At the end north
= Terra will ask you a question
The correct answers is: Seru and human
  = Go north
  = East
= Terra will ask you another question.
The correct answer is: A Genesis Tree
= Keep going east (you may pick op some healing shrooms that you can
    find here).
= At the end go south
= Terra will ask you one last question.
The correct answer is: Mt. Rikuroa (4th answer)
  = Go south
  = Exit south
- Terra will now let you train with the monsters.
I advise to only train with the red monsters. After Noa gained a level
you may want to train with the black ones as well.
You must gain 1 level in order to proceed in the game, after that you may
choose to gain another level. Once you defeat all piuras you have to
proceed to the next part of the game.
You can talk to Terra to recover all HP or to proceed.
- = Go north until you find Terra. On this moment the mist enters the cave
and now there'll be monsters here.
  = Go east
= At the end go south
= At the end go east
  = Around the corner south
  = Exit south
- Terra will call you
  After the chat exit north-west
(Terra will join as party member, though you can't control him/her(?),
he/she can sometimes help you. When you are low in HP, Terra will always
heal you. Good to know, eh?)
- Follow the corridor and exit south

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Noa 4

Seru: (L) Vera
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Just go south from Snowdrift cave
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
You start this dungeon with Noa, during the mission the game will switch to
Vahn, and you end this mission together.

- Just follow the road
Save the game if you need and enter the cave
- Go east and some rocks will come down.
Continue your way and the way behind you will be blocked by falling rocks.
(Noa can still jump over it though, but since you no longer need to be there
  don't bother).
The rest of the road, is just a matter of following, no big deal.
Do so until the end of this room (halfaway terra will come with more
  blah blah).
At the end of the road you'll meet a golem. Kill it and you'll east.
That golem is easy so just hit the shit out of it, when you get low in HP
Terra will heal you, so losing this battle ain't very likely.
- The cave you came from will collapse. No way back, but you don't need to go
there anyway. After a lot of important stuff Terra has to tell you you
can continue your way. Follow the way east and exit east into the next
  cave.
- Go east, save your game and exit east

You'll reach the Genesis Tree. Zeto will appear and cause some trouble, but
before getting into that the game will switch to Vahn.

IMPORTANT NOTE!
Make sure Vahn absorbs the Seru Vera. You'll need it pretty bad. Most likely
in this dungeon already.

- Open the gate and follow the road to the end
- Go north and jump your way up (you'll jump automaticly when you go to
the mountain). Go into the cave at the end
- At the end of the road go left (right leads to treasure)
Exit south at the end of the road
- Jump your way up and go into the higher cave
- Go north, exit north
- You'll see Noa in trouble in the distance. Save your game and make sure
you are at full HP and go to Noa.

Now Vahn and Noa will team up and together you gotta fight the first boss.

Preperations: Vahn should have Vera
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Use your best arts against it to do the most of damage. Be prepared it
also deal some damage to you. Especially Noa (who has no longer Terra by
her side) is easily hurt. Vahn can heal by casting "Vera", but keep in
mind that Vahn is pretty slow and that can cost you. Beware of its
"Fire Breath". It can hurt you both, and pretty bad.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Go to the Genesis Tree and examine it to revive it.
Now Noa will ask to travel with you. Say "Yes" (The game won't take "no" for
an answer).

Save your game and exit south.

- Go south, exit south
- Jump you way down and go into the cave
- = Go north
  = Around the corner east
  = First way south
  = Exit south
- Go south and jump your way down the mountain
  Exit south
- Go south, exit south

Go back to Drake Castle

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Upon your arrival you'll meet the king.
He wants to know if you are the ones who drove away the mist. Say "Yes".
Later in the throne room, you'll tell the king what happened. The king will
give you the Water Key. With that you can close the water gate which will
make you able to reach Biron Monastery.

The room behind the right door is the bedroom. You can rest there.
Noa may get a dream in which she receives a message from her mother. This
will happen quite often during rests, so don't be alarmed by that, and I
won't note it in this FAQ any more.

Leave the throne room south, then go through a door either west or east
From there the middle door south and go all the way south, until you end up
on a small market in front of the castle.

Noa will go overexcited (that won't be the last time). Whatever you say, Noa
will go over the market and ask anything and everything to the people here.
Follow her and talk to her wherever she goes.
At one of the stands Noa will learn things and ask you questions about that.
Doesn't matter if you answer them right or wrong. After the 3rd stand Noa
will quit going around the market and rejoin. You can buy new supplies now,
not a bad idea. After that exit south to end up on the world map.

Go easst and you'll see the waterway. Use the device to close it.
Open the chest that was underwater to find Wind Book I. Use it on Noa to
learn the "Frost Breath" Hyper Art.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Go north and use the switch.
The door out will close, some fans will blow out the mist and the door in
will open. A biron monk will come and invite you to come in.
  Exit north
- Here you will meet Zopu, Gala (aka Master Teacher) and Songi.
As you know Gala will join you as a party member but that comes later.
You should pay attention to Songi as he will be quite a nuisance going
to bug you lots of times during the game. I don't know if you will like
him. Mostly he can't say one sentence without at least one offensive word.
  After these introductions exit north
- Examine the monument to get a Power Elixir.
Go west and a woman will appear and speak with you.
This is Maya, Mei's mother. After your talk exit north
- The left door north leads to a room where you can rest.
The right door is restricted for man, but you can allow Noa to enter in
  order to speak with Maya.
The middle door leads to the dining room. But you got no business there
  yet.
Take one of the two middle exits south (doesn't matter which one)
- Go up the stais and take the door between the two other stairs
- Talk to Zopu. When he asks if you listened to all the people he'll
invite you to the party. You'll automaticly end up in the great hall.
- Maya will hear about what happened in Rim Elm. She'll get sad and leave.
Speak with people. (You should talk to "Master Teacher"). After that
Zopu will have entered the room. Speak with him.
He'll ask if you were supposed to take Maya back to Rim Elm. Say "Yes".
Then he'll ask if you are planning to revive the Genesis Trees north of
the monastery as well. Say "Yes".
Zopu will ask which forest you will go first to.
Whatever you answer you'll always go to West Voz Forest. Zopu will order
Gala to join you in your quest. Songi will go to the other forest (Uh-Oh)
After this you'll end up in the next room
- From here Gala will join the party (how odd that a "Master Teacher" starts
the game at level 1. Gives me something to think on the fighting levels
of these monks). Go up the stairs, exit north
- Take one of the middle exists south
- Stairs up, then the west stairs and exit through the door.
- Use the switch. The south door will close the fans will stop the north
door will open, and the mist will come in.
Go north, follow the road and exit north

Okay... Next dungeon please :)

- Follow the path until you come at at a T-crossing.
  Go west there.
  Exit west

- = Follow the path to the west
  = Around the corner north
= There are some "Plant tunnels", the first one west to exit west

- Take Fertilizer out of the chest on the right and exit east

- Go north, exit north

- Follow the way north until the road is blocked by a small river.
Examine the small plant here. When you got the fertilizer you can make it
grow over the river. Cross the river over the platnt and exit north

- = Follow the way north.
= At the end go west.
  = Around the corner south
  = Save the game
  = Go west
= At the end you find the Genesis Tree (too bad, it's dead)
You still get get a Ra-Seru egg from it. (You can equip it, but keep
in mind that you will lose that egg in the next dungeon since it contains
the Ra-Seru Ozma who will link itself to Gala in the next dungeon.
When you get the Ra-Seru something happens
  = Go back east
  = First way south
  = Exit south

- Go south (over the bridge grass) and exit south

- Follow the way south
At the end go east, and exit east

Upon arrival here, you'll discover that the entire monastery has been
engulfed in the mist.

- Go south, exit south
- Gala will temporarily leave the party.
  Go down the stairs
  Take the right door
- Take the right door north
- Here you'll meet Maya but not in such a good state, I'm afraid.
There is nothing you can do for her now though.
There's a letter on the floor. Read it.
  After that exit south
- Exit through the middle door north
- You'll meet Zopu. He tells you how the monastery got in the mist.
You can learn a few new fighting techniques here, and you can talk to the
woman to the table in order to eat (which recovers HP and MP).
And I suggest to save the game. Exit south
- Take one of the middle exits south
- Go op the stairs then take the stairs on the right. Exit north
- Go north and Gala will come and rejoin the party.
  (Answer his questions with "yes")
Now follow the corridor and exit north at the end

Go to East Voz Forest

- Gala will make a request concerning Songi.
Vahn and Noa will accept that request.
= After that follow the path until it's blocked by some plants
= Go east into the "plant tunnel"
= At the end go north
= Take the first way east
  = Exit east

- Follow the path and open the chest to get a Weed Hammer. With it you can
destroy the plants blocking the path. You can start by the ones south
to get a magic leaf :)
Go back to the previous location

- Go north, exit north

- Go north. Destroy the plants in your way and keep going north. Exit north

- Go north and take the last way east
Destroy plants on your path and exit north

- Follow the path and save your game.
Go north after that to find the Genesis Tree.
When you try to revive it Songi will appear and summon some strong Serus
for you to beat. Just be sure to keep your HP up while taking them on.
(The chance you'll absorb them is next to nothing, though I suppose it IS
  possible).
After the fight revive the Genisis Tree.
After this the Ra-Seru egg will hatch and Ozma will come out.
Surprisingly easily does Gala allow himself to be linked to it.

And with that this mission is over and you automaticly end up in Zopu's
office at the monastery. I suggest to take a rest and then you can
exit the monastery by the north-west exit to head for the first Mist Generator.

NOW YOU COME IN A SECTION THAT CONTAINS VERA. VERA IS ONE OF THE MOST
IMPORTANT SERUS TO GET. THIS WILL BE THE FINAL CHANCE TO ABSORB ONE, AFTER
THIS SECTION YOU CAN FIND NO MORE OF THEM UNTIL THE FINAL DUNGEON!!!

- Save your game and exit south

- = Follow the corridor

is easy to reach once you're through here).
There's a lever here, use it.
Leave the room of Old Wizard and follow the path beside it to the north
  Exit north

- Follow the path until the fork
  Go north there.
At the next fork, go east
  Go through the door

- You'll meet Old Witch. She'll offer a free inn. Accept that.
In your dream you'll see the village Octam.
There you'll get a message from Hari and the request to come to Octam
to receive a message. After the sleep go north. When you try to go to
the north, Old Witch will come after you and give you a Door Of Wind.
These items can come in handy as they can warp you to any town you've
been before. Go through the door, follow the corridor and exit at the
end to end up on the world map.

Well, your next target is Jeremy.
I personally however went to Vidna first to get some supplies, and to
Octam (which is currently covered in the mist) to absorb the Seru "Orb".
Doing that too will really make you task in Jeremy easier (as there's a
very hard boss in there).

(Vidna is north of Jeremy, the town with the windmills. And Octam can be
found when you follow the road east of Vidna. See the respective sections
of more exact info).

Jeremi is a town which is completely covered in the mist. Thanks to that all
citizens are turned into seru monsters, so shops and such are unavailable.
But never fear the heroes are here. Oh.... hah, that's you, right?
There is a Genesis Tree in this town, so the object of this mission is to
revive that Genesis Tree. Let's go

- Go north and enter the north building
- Exit north
- Don't bother the elevator in the front. You cannot use it.
Use the north-west elevator in stead.
- Use the south-west elevator
- Go east and use the elevator at the end of the corridor
- Take the south-west elevator
- Exit south
- = Go up the stairs and save the game
  = Go through the arch
  = Go west
  = First way north
  = First way east
= Go all the way east
= Get the Forest Amulet out of the chest and equip it to somebody
= Go to the monster that is trying to east the Genesis Tree.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Difficulty: Hard if prepared! Very Extremely Hard if not prepared
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Preperations: - If everybody has the Seru "Orb" you victory chances are
                very much greater
              - Having Vera at a level that make it cure "ROT" is good
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The Berserkers attacks a very strong, totals of 300+ or 400+ are quite
normal in this battle so you already should have guessed that you'll
require a lot of healing here. Alas it doesn't end there. It can also
make your limbs rot, making that you cannot use some of them in an attack
or in very bad cases you'll be unable to attack at all. If Vera has
enough levels to cure that, then do so as soon as that happens.
Really dangerous will things be when the Berserker is getting near death.
Then it often can use the move Stone Circle. It's a move that is really
hard to survive. 500+ or even 600+ can be done there. So it's extremely
important that you keep your HP high. Having the Seru Orb to heal all
characters at once when that happens is a really good idea. If you don't
have the Orb yet, you can still win, but then you need all characters
to heal.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight you'll automaticly revive the Genesis Tree and with that
save Jeremi from the mist. You'll also receive the Fire Book II. Use it on
Vahn to receive the "Fire Blow" Hyper Art.
Go back and enter the tower again.

- Use the south-west elevator
- Use the elevator south-east
- Go west and use the south-west elevator
- Use the north-west elevator

Now you'll meet the mayor. You are heroes now and a lot of blah-blah.
You'll get a free rest at the inn, and since you are heroes the inn is free.

For now you can leave this town, you'll have to come back here later.

From Jermey head north and cross the bridge. From the bridge keep going
north. At the end cross the bridge west and there it is. Easy to
recognize with those windmills.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Basically all you can do at this moment here is using the inn and buying
weapons. I do recommend to buy a golden compass here and to equip in on
somebody, doesn't matter who. Does work great in a lot of battles :)
(You'll get on a lot of battles the initiative).

South of the hot springs is a small hut that is used by biron monks in order
to train. There's also a woman here, who appears to be a servant of Hari.
She'll give you some instructions on opening a secret passage in Octam.
You can finish the game without those instructions, but just to keep things
complete I had to note it ;)

Anyway, do what you must here and head for Octam.

now though.
- Enter the huge building (by the big doors)
- Exit north
- Exit north
- Go down the stairs and exit south at the end
- You'll see some stone faces here of which the tongues have a specific color.
That is a hint for later in the game, so you might wanna memorize those.
On this room are also 4 peddestals containing a book. Read them all in
random order. Once you did that a secret passage will open up. Go down
the stairs in the secret passage.
- Go down the stairs and exit south at the end.
- Try to enter the elevator to find it locked.
You'll meet strange girl named Cara. She knows where all the people in

This section is divided over serveral locations. First go to Jeremi.

In the house south-west of town you'll find Zalan.
He'll have a favor to ask of you. He wants you to deliver a letter to
his wife and son who are both supposed to be in Vidna.
Well, that makes things easy.

Go to Vidna.

Most north-east of town (next to a windmill) is the hut where you should be.
There you'll find Pepe, Zalan's son. Pepe will give you his mother's ring.

Go back to Jeremi.

Talk to Zalan. You'll get Zalan's Crown.
Noa will ask for the Star Pearl. And Zalan will just give it right away as
he has no use for it.

That covers this part. Now onto the next quest.

Go west. You can rest at the inn if you need (and buy supplies, both the
item and the weapon shop are located in the inn).

When you proceed west you'll have an earthquake and you'll see one of the
villagers losing her house.

You can go to Hari's house, but the Hari's (there's three of them, the fact
that the game just says "Hari" works confusing. I guess that's just a
translation error) are sleeping and may not be woken.

Go to the mayor's house in stead (the big house). The mayor as at the top
floor. Not really a good representation of a mayor, I suppose. Talk to him
and go downstairs. A guard will bump in saying that the Haris are awake.
Leave the mayor's house, and now you can go to the Hari's place.
(South-west of town)

As I said there's three of them. Talk to all three to hear some valuable
information. After you've spoken with all three of them leave this building.
(On your way you'll speak with the mayor).
When you leave the platform the house it on there'll be another quake and
well, see for yourself what happens.

Go to the north-west of town and go into the caves there for your next
mission. The Fire Path.

Go to the mayor's house and talk to the mayor.
The mayor will ask you for Spring Salts for Vidna, so that'll be the next
target. You can easily go out of Octam since the Mayor ordered the guards
to allow you to use the elevator.

Before you go I suggest you rest at the inn.

Now use the elevator to go up to Octam (surface). I suppose you know your
way out. And go to Vidna.

Even before entering town you could see that the windmills stopped.
In case you missed it the windmills blew the mist out of town in order to
protect Vidna from the mist. So as you can guess... Yup, Vidna is covered
in the mist right now. When you enter you can see that that's true.

Since there's no Genesis Tree in Vidna you cannot remove the mist from Vidna
(Vidna can only be saved by taking on the next mist generator, but that comes
later).

(If you wanna know why the windmills stopped functioning then it's easy.
The windmills were powered by the heath of the earth, so by freezing the
magma Xain took away the power source of those windmills).

Most of the townspeople hid themselves in a small underground shelter.
You can seek that shelter out, but there's not much to gain there.

Go to the house to the east of the weapon shop and go downstairs (twice)
When you go of the platform you can reach serveral treasure chests. One
of them contains the salts you're here for. Once yu got those you can
leave Vidna and go back to Octam (you can use the elevator) and report to
the Mayor. He'll also tell you there's a Genesis Tree at the mount Letona
next to Ratayu. After that you're set for the next city. And your next
target is set. Ratayu.

This town is completely covered in the mist so inns and shops are not
available. Upon arrival your Ra-Serus may say something about the Genesis
Tree. Not important now, when they shut up, jump over the gorge and enter
town.

Head all the way north into the palace
In the palace get onto the higher platfoms and keep going north.

In the northern chamber you'll find the mayor of Ratayu, Saryu.
Saryu will give you the key to Mt. Letona. He wants you to remove the mist.
(Ain't it odd that somebody pocessed by a Seru asks for such a thing?)

Leave the palace. Back in town you'll find the gate to Mt. Letona at the
east side. Go there open it to get on Mt. Letona.

Once you're through the game, save your game and exit north to get on the
mountain.

She appears to be a Seru bride. That is something terrible, that's what I can

After that talk to the girl (Eliza) again and answer her question with "yes".

After that Noa will be taken away, you get to play with Noa alone first.
Talk to the other Seru Bride. After that try to leave and Saryu will appear.

You will very soon discover what kind of danger Noa is in, so Vahn and Gala
will have to come to the rescue. You'll be standing in from of the palace
doors with them. Enter the palace and keep going straingt north. You

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Now that the mist generator has been destroyed both Vidna and Octam are freed
from the mist. Both towns are trying to get things back to normal.
In Octam they got a skyway. Since it leads to an area that's still covered in
the mist it's not yet operational, but for the Ra-Seru heroes they make an
exception.

Before you go, make sure you got at least one Door Of Wind. As long as the
mist is not gone there (and it'll take a long time before you can remove the
mist) it's the only way to get back. (It's not likely you need to get back
though, but it's handy to note, just in case).

When you get in Octam go up the stairs and exit north through the red door
(on the right). Talk to the clerk and he'll open the elevator for you. Once
up exit east and go up the stairs. There are three men waiting for you.
Talk to the one with the crazy things on his back. Say that you are ready
to go and they'll bring you to Karisto Kingdom.

After your arrival you meet Cara again. And after your chat with her, leave

mountains. It spirols into the center where you'll find Sol
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
First of all, prepare to be in Sol for a long time.
This section contains a very hard boss. One you cannot hope to defeat unless
you absorb the Seru "Spoon". Make sure you absorb them all.

What is Sol?
Sol is a city in a tower. The first 4 levels are covered in the mist the
other four are too high for the mist to reach and there you have the
possibility to rest, buy stuff etc.

The mission in Sol can be divided in three parts.

Here's the short version of those four parts

Part 1: Reach the Biron Temple at the top level of Sol.
Get the Genesis sprout from the Biron leader there.
Fight the first boss (there are 2 in this mission)

Part 2: There are 8 Sage's chest in the lower levels of Sol
(The levels engulfed in the mist). At first the chests contain a
treasure. After that you can put a Soru Bread into the chest.
When all chests have a Soru Bread you can proceed to the lowest level
in order to unlock the cellar of Sol and receive a message from
a man known as Dr. Usha.

Part 3: Go into the cellar of Sol. At the end of that solve the puzzle to
reach the center. There you'll meet the second boss (who is very
hard) and after that revive the Genesis Tree.

Part 4: Is just a tiny part without any monsters or anything since the mist
is then gone. You gotta seek out the emperor of Sol who'll tell you
about Dr. Usha and give you a password to enter his lab.

That was the short version. Now with the long version: :)

Part 1: - Go upstairs and keep going upstairs.
You may meet an old man on your way. After that encounter
          exit upstairs
        - Go up the stairs and you'll automaticly end up in some kind of
          tavern
        - Here you'll meet Cara and a man she's talking to. After this talk
          Leave this place.
        - Go once again upstairs (you may wanna buy weapons, but keep in mind
that the Soru Breads you need are extremely expensive. On the other
hand, there is a very hard boss to beat).
        - When you reach the top level (Biron Monks all over the place)
Go to the building to the north.
        - The Biron Master (Old Deez) will give you what's left of the
Genesis Tree. After that I'd like to note you can rest for free
by talking to the monk north-east.
          Leave the house
        - Gaza will appear and attack

His best move is Astral Slash. 1000+ damage. It only hurts one person so
that makes things a little bit easier. If you are unlucky he'll use that
move quite often though. If you can keep everybody above 1000 HP, you
should be fine. This is however easier said than done. Vera does not heal
enough for this. If you got the Spoon you can that much in one turn, but
that Seru costs a lot to use. (It heals all party members though so it
could come in handy).
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Part 2: First of all you need 8 Soru Breads. There are two ways known to
me to get them. You can buy them at the Bakery, but they cost
6000 gold each (and that for bread). You can also win them in serveral
games. Buying at the Bakery is the easiest way, though it costs time.
As I said you need to seek out all sage's chests and feed them with
        Soru Bread. Here goes:
        - Go down until you are in the mist.
        - Go down, second doorway (first is an unfunctional elevator)
        - In the east section is a Sage's Chest. Open it to get a Magic Water.
Then examine it again to give it a Soru Bread.
          Go west and exit downstairs
        - Directly east of the stairs is another Sage's Chest. (#2)
Open it to get a Guardian Water. After that feed it with a Soru Bread
          Go east and exit downstairs
        - West of the stairs is the Sage's Chest (#3)
Open it to get Life Water. After that feed it with the Soru Bread
          Exit south
        - Go up the stairs third doorway (1st = Exit of Sol, 2nd = Elevator)
(If there's a human pocessed by a seru in front of it, you got the
          right door)
        - Exit downstairs
        - Close to the Seru moster is another Sage's Chest (#4)
Open it to get a Healing Berry. After that feed it a Soru Bread.
          Exit upstairs
        - Go east, open the Sage's Chest next to the stairway. (#5) for a
Power Water. Then Feed it with a Soru Bread
          Exit upstairs
        - Open the sage's chest behind the bar (#6) for a Wisdom Water.
Put a Seru bread in it and exit south
        - Go down, and exit through the door with the sword haning in front
          of it.
        - Open the Sage's Chest (#7) in front of the counter to get a
Swift Water. Then put a Soru Bread into the chest.
          Exit upstairs
        - Open the Sage's Chest (#8) on the table west to get a Wonder Elixir.
Put a Soru bread in the chest. Now you should have had all Chests.
A small Earthquake will indicate that. Exit downstairs
        - Exit south
        - Go all the way down until the way is blocked by a statue.
(You could if you want go up to rest first)
Exit through the doorway most close to the statue.
        - Examine the strange terminal the statue that blocked the way will
be removed and you'll get a message that was recoreded here before
          by Dr. Usha. Exit south
        - Go down and exit down, to start with part 3.

Part 3: - Go down and exit through the doorway at the end
        - = Go east and you'll get in a library
(You can search the shelves to find Mary's Diary. You can
give it to one of the Biron Monks on the top level to learn
            new Arts)
          = Go south
          = Around the corner west
          = Exit west
        - Exit north
        - Exit north
        - Save the game and go east, exit downstairs
        - You've reached the warrior's square. In order to revive the
Genesis Tree you must remove the barrier in the center and go there
yourself. The puzzle looks more complicated than it really is.
          So let's do it.
= Use the switch and the first part of the barrier is removed.
          = Go east
          = Use the purple switch
= Go south (the electric barries goes back on)
          = Go down the stairs
          = Use the purple switch
          = Go north then west
= Use the Cyan switch and go back east then south
          = Around the conrer west
= Go through the Cyan barrier (which goes back on)
          = Go down the stairs
          = Go west
          = Go up the stairs
          = Go north
= Use the blue switch and go south
= Go through the blue barrier
= Use the yellow and red switch
= Go east through the yellow barrier
          = Go down the stairs
= Go up the stairs west
= Go up the other stairs
= Go through the red barrier north
= Use the red and white switch
          = Go south
= Go through the red and white barrier
= Follow the road and use the big switch
          = Go north-east
          = Use the green switch
= Go through the green barrier
          = Go west
          = Go north
          = Use the Cyan Switch
= Go south and go through the cyan barrier
          = Go down the stairs.
Soing will appear and send what he introduce you to SUPER GEEZER!

This fight is very hard, if not the hardest of the game. He does not have
any nasty status changes, so that's good. His Astral Wave deals about
700+ damage to one person. That should be easy to deal with. But then it
comes. His "Neo Star Slash". 1100+ damage on the entire party. Thanks to
that move your only way of survival is by summoning Spoon, as that's the
only healing Seru capable of healing such huge damage on the entire party
Perhaps I don't need to say that it's really recommended to keep everyone

Whala Gaza's defeat the Genesis Tree will be revived, the mist will be driven
out of Sol. That completes part 3. (There's one more thing left to do).

Part 4: From the Warrior Square go up until you find the first inn. Enter
that inn, and go downstairs. Here you'll find Emperor Etora. Talk to
him. Say "Yes" when he asks if you are Vahn. The Emperor will give
you a key combination. You'd do well to remember it, as it's the
password to Usha's Lab, which is the next location you have to go to.
When that's done you have done all you can here. You can now leave
Sol. (I suggest you go to the weapon shop that was in the mist before.
They do have better weapons and stuff there, and resting also doesn't
hurt, since the only other city you can reach now (Buma) is completely
covered in the mist and it'll take awhile before you can remove it.

the Genesis Trees there are frozen and cannot be revived. Cut short
there's nothing you can do there right now. You can enter it in order
to have it in the Door of Wind list. Anyway go west from there.
= You'll see a tower to the north. Go there.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
- Enter the tower
- There's a pipe here. Speak into it and give the password:
  Cross, Cross, Triangle, Circle, Square
  Step in the elevator

Okay, when you at at the stand of the woman up north your HP and MP will
be recovered. There is an item shop here if you need it. When you go
upstairs you'll meet the doctoron the top floor. Talk to him. If he asks if
you are the great heroes then say "yes". Good after a long talk you'll learn
about the Seru named Koru. In order to destroy it you need a timespace bomb
and to create that we need Fire Droplets. So your next quest is to make
Fire Droplets. They can be acquired in Uru Mais. Go down the stairs and
Dr. Usha's wife will ask some questions to make sure you've got everything
right.
The correct answers are: = Uru Mais
                         = Dream Dreams
                         = The Fire Droplet
                         = Usha Research Center

ruin to the north. That's where you gotta be.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Well, first you'll get some Blah Blah here. After that's all done get
onto the black ruin. Go to the strange thingamabob. You'll hear a strange
voice and three doors will open. You have to go into the three doors one-by-one
in random order. Inside there's only a corridor and at the end of it one
of your party members will fall asleep and have a dream. These dreams are
just something you gotta watch. In Vahn's dream there are a few things you
gotta do (leaving the house twice) the other two are completely automated.

You may see some images of Tieg appear after some dreams but they are not
of any value as long as you didn't take on all three entrances.

After you've seen all 3 dreams the images of Tieg will be complete.
You can speak to them in random order, but best is to start with the one
south-west (7 o' clock) and proceed clock-wise. The one at south (6 o'clock)
should always be taken last. When you talk to the last image of Tieg you'll
receive the Fire Droplet.

When you try to leave Uru Mais something terrible will happen. It won't
result into a battle though. After the event you'll also meet Cara. She wants
you to revive the Genesis Trees in Buma. For the rest nothing important.

After that go down again, and Mrs. Usha will show herself a true worrywart

                         = Three seconds

Now the party will split up and you gotta play all characters one by one.
You can switch party members with the square button (at least in the PAL
version that is). When I call somebody's name you switch to that character
and proceed playing... Ok?

Vahn:
- = Go west
  = Down the stairs
  = Around the corner north
= Go north until the way is blocked by some big thingamajig.

Noa:
- = Go north
= Around the corner west (north=treasure)
= Stand on the symbol and Noa's gotta wait here

Vahn:
- = Push the big thing and the path for Vahn and Noa is open.
  = Follow the way north
= Go east when the way turns east.
  = Exit east
- Follow the road till you cannot go any furhter

Noa:
- = Cross the bridge and go west
= Use the switch in the north wall
  = Go north
  = Exit north
- Follow the road and exit east (north=Treasure)
- Noa will have reached her destination and she gotta wait for the others.

Gala:
- Follow the road and exit north-west (north=treasure)
- Go north and push the snowball you come past.
Keep follow the road and exit east at the end
- Follow the road and exit west at the end
- Gala will have reached his destination.

Vahn:
- Go north over the snowball and exit north
- Vahn will have reached his destination.

Okay, now it's time to set the bombs but the Delilas family will appear and
this time you gotta fight them for real. The game allows you to prepare with
healing and MP recovery if required and after that the battles begin.

When you arrive in Buma you'll automaticly revive the Genesis Trees.
After that leave the Genesis Tree-spot and you'll meet Cara.
She won't fulfill her end of your bargain yet (that will happen soon).

Try to leave the spot again and you'll see some Sorens flying over.
After that Noa will take a Music Score From Cara.
After that leave Buma and head to Sol. Go to the Jazz Club on the 4th floor.
Talk to the Piano player in order to make her play Cara's song.
Grantes (who's sitting at the bar) will respond to the song.
After a lecture Grantes will leave to make it up with Cara. Leave Sol and
head back to Buma.

Go there to Cara's house, from the entrance head east then north.
There you see that things worked out and now Cara will do her part of your
bargain with her. Not only that, but Grantes will give you the Soren Flute.
You'll need it to contact the Soren in the next mission.

After that you can leave Buma and start on the next mission.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Before you start one important notice.
At first this mission starts as a regular Mist Generator. However (as you can
guess) after the mist generator is destroyed the flying castle will no longer
fly but fall. After the timer has started to run nothing not even menus or
battles can stop the timer. Therefore I recommend taking a golden compass
and a chicken heart with you. On your way back you don't wanna fight more
than you strictly have to.

Well, first the way to the generator which isn't timed, so here goes...
- Enter the castle
- Go west, first way north, exit north
- Follow the path and exit south at the end
- = Go south
= At the fork go east
= At the end exit south
- Exit south
- Go east and exit north at the end
- Go to the northside of this room and exit north
- Move the lever and exit south
- Use the elevator to go down and exit south
- Follow the corridor and exit north at the end
- = First way west and get into the tube
  = Follow the tube
  = Exit east
- The little creature is a Puera. A Seru. You CAN absorb it with your
Ra-Seru, but because of it's death game it's hard. Have a quick eye
in order to defeat it. After that move the lever and get back into the
  tube.
- Follow the tube and when you're out of it, go north, and exit north
- Go west, first door north
- Use the lever to open the tomb. Examine the tomb to find the Soren Secrets.
With it you can learn extra arts in the Soren Camp by one of the Sorens.
  Exit south
- Go west, exit south
- Go round the room and go down the stairs to save the game
  Exit north
- Go north and fight the two Pueras. After the fight, use the two levers to
open the door and exit north.
- You are in the throne room, but Zora isn't here.
Examine the north door which is the door to the mist generator, but you'll
find out it's locked. Go south and you'll meet Zora.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Zora will offer a great fight. Her regular attacks will get about 400+
which is as much as most regular enemies in this area do. So when it
comes to that Zora ain't that hard. But as nearly all bosses, Zora has
a supermove. For Zora that's Dark Typhoon good for 1000+ damage over the
entire party. As long as you always have enough HP to survive that move
(in which the Seru Spoon will come in handy) the rest of this fight is
a pushover.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight Songi will appear, but you don't have to fight him this
time. Songi will blow up the north door. Make sure everyone is at full HP
that you have equipped the Chicken Heart (available in Buma) and the
Golden Compass (available in Vidna) before you enter. All preperations done
Enter.

Now you'll see that Songi destroyed the Mist Generator for you. But of course
there WAS an evil entention behind it. The Castle used the Mist Generator to
float, so without, it's gonna fall.
You got 7 minutes and 15 seconds to get out of here.
Timer has begun to run, as I said nothing you can do to stop it.
So no toilet breaks, tea breaks or whatever. Just run!

- exit south, till the savespot
- Go upstairs end exit north
- Follow the corridor, exit south
- go south exit south
- go east eix north
- elevator up, go round the room, exit south
- go west, exit north
- go north, exit north
- Follow the corridor west... Go north at the fork.
  Exit north
- follow the corridor, exit south at the end
- go south, then east
At the fork go south, at the end exit south

You've reached the exit. (Geez, you gotta try that typing and playing in only
7 minutes (It sucks when you can't stop the clock). After this you'll end up
in Soren Camp.

From there you can prepare for your trip to Conkram.
BEFORE YOU GO! Make sure you got the best weapons available and take a few
Doors of Wind. If you need to get out of the Conkram region the Door of Wind
is the only way to do so. Be also sure to take at least one Door of Light.
You cannot complete the mist generator in that region without it.

When you're ready talk to Luctes to go to Conkram

From there it's north of you, you see it after your landing
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
What you see in Conkram is just plain horror. There are not much games in
which I've seen a more horrible situation as here in Conkram. See for yourself
how bad the situation is.
- Go north and go up the stairs on the right. Go through the big doors
- On the right of this room are stairs go up them.
- Go north and you'll meet Noa's mother, Queen Minea.
After your talk go south and down the stairs again.
- Go west and talk to the guards (or what's left of them)
They'll let you pass. Exit north
- Go down the stairs and then to the south.
At the end of the corridor you'll meet Noa's old man. King Nebular.
He'll give you the Seru Flame. After that go back north and exit up the
  stairs
- Go back east up the stairs
- Go north past the queen and exit through the door behind her.
- Here you'll automaticly use the seru flame making the mirror a portal
  to the past.

- Go south, exit south
- You're now in town. Head for the inn.
- Here you can take a rest. if you do so the story will continue.

When you leave the Inn, you'll see how the mist is demonstrated as a new
revolutionary weapons. Of course this goes wrong and we'll need an emergency
plan.

- Go north, go up the stairs and go through the big doors
- Go west and go into the passage there
- Follow the way south, exit south
- Okay, here's the mist generator, but destroying this one is done by
going into Rogue's Tower. I suggest to double-check your stuff and to save

  done.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This dungeon contains 4 levels. The first 3 levels end with a giant
teleporter in which you proceed to the next level. The subteleporters warp
you around within the dungeon.

Now before you begin THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. You'll notice that every 10
seconds the dungeon will become "wild" and turn to normal again after a
few seconds. It's very important NOT TO STEP INTO ANY TELEPORTERS WHEN THIS
HAPPENS, as you will come to places you don't want to be. (mostly the start
of the level). If this happens on a moment I tell you to step in a teleporter
wait until the level turns back to normal.

One last note. You may not see mist here, but in spite of that, the only type
of enemies you'll find here are Serus. Not that you likely to find Serus you
need (Vera, Spoon and Orb are in my opinion the only useful ones), still you
can collect stuff here. But since you cannot get out and cannot rest, this
is not the place for hunting, and especially not for levelling up!!!

- ROGUE'S TOWER - LEVEL 1 -

= Step in the teleporter

= Step in the other teleporter (South-east-north)

= Go out of the room to the northwest
= Go into the room south
= Step in the teleporter

= The left teleporter is a treasure. The right one leads to the next place
  to be.

= Step in the other teleporter (south-west-north)

= Go south
= Go west
= Step in the teleporter on the south

= Step in the big teleporter to advance to level 2

- ROGUE'S TOWER - LEVEL 2 -

= Go north and step in the second teleporter

= Go south, then east and step in the teleporter north

= Step in the teleporter south

= Step in the teleporter west

= Step in the other teleporter

= Go east
= At the end north
= Step in the teleporter

= Examine the strange thing and fight a mini-boss. (Berserker Lv2). This
fight is not worthy to call a boss. It's fighting technique is the same
as the one in Jeremi, only weaker. (even Stone Circle is no longer
  impressive).
= After the fight, step in the teleporter north

= Step in the same teleporter you're standing on (get off and step in it again)

= Steo in the teleporter north-east

= Step in the teleporter West

= Examine the strange thing to fight Caruban Lv2. Same technique as the one
in Mt. Rikuroa, only a pathetic excuse for what we had to fight back then.
(After the fight the exit will be activated)
= Step in the teleporter north

= Go south and step in the teleporter

= Step in the big teleporter to advance to level 3

- ROGUE'S TOWER - LEVEL 3 -

= Go north
= Step in the teleporter

= Step in the other teleporter

= Step in the telepoter north-east

= Kill the beast in the strange thing (Berserker lv3) and step back in the
  teleporter

= Step in the teleporter north-west

= Step in the other teleporter (NW)

= Step in the other teleporter (NW)

= Step in the other teleporter (NW)

= Step in the other teleporter (NW) (Boring eh?)

= Go east
= Go north BUT DON'T STEP IN THE TELEPORTER!
= A doorway is hidden at the left side of the teleporter. Go trough it
= Step in the teleporter west

= Kill the enemy in the image (Caruban lv3... EASY)
= Step in the teleporter

= Go east and step in the teleporter

= Save your game, make sure everybody is at full HP and step in the big
  teleporter

- ROGUE'S TOWER - LEVEL 4 -

= Go South

In detail, Rogue charges every turn for either a Fire, Lightning or Wind
attack. And in the next turn it unleashes the attack. About 700+ damage
when you spirit. But if you follow the technique described above, your
chance of victory should be 100%
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this fight this mission is over and you'll be teleported back to

Serus: Same as before in the present
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I put past and present in one as this part is rather small. Of course you're
still in the past, so that's were we start.

It starts with a lots of thanks from the king and you get your Nemesis Gem as
reward. After that go through the north-west door. And from that through the
blue door, make your way up and you'll meet the queen. Noa's mother (yet,
she doesn't know that since this is still the past). She'll give you Minea's
ring. It ups your max HP greatly. Give it to Noa (I'm serious. Against the
boss after the next boss, she's dead meat if she doesn't have that ring).

Now go back down to the throne room. Now I suggest to go into town first
to rest (as this is the only chance to do so at this moment). You may also
want to buy some items (Heal Fruit and Magic Fruit is what I recommend,
especially Magic Fruit). After that go to the throne room and go through the
north-east door to return to the present

When you leave the room you'll automaticly talk to the queen again. She'll
explain what happened after you left the past until the mist took over the
world. After that head all the way south to leave this horrible place.
(really it gives me the creeps).

Your next Target. Jette's Fortresss.

From Conkram, east and then north. Can't miss it.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Before you begin. Make sure you got a door of light. If you don't have that
you can NOT complete this dungeon.

- Upon arrival you'll automaticly open the door with the Nemisis Gem.
(If that doesn't happen you haven't completed the sections in Conkram).
  After that enter the cave

- Head all the way north. Save your game and head north, exit north

- Keep going north until you see a "Lake of Mist". You can already see what's
in that lake, doncha? If not you'll find out soon.
Go west and follow the path, and take the first exit north

- Follow the corridor and exit south at the end

- Now you'll see the "Lake of Mist" from above (and discover what's in there
if you didn't already find out. You'll automaticly advance to the next room.

- Follow the road.
The first north door has a Golden Claw for Noa.
If you got that follow the corridor again and exit north at the end

- Go north, exit north.

- Up up the stairs north, save the game and exit north.

- Stand on the higher platform and use the switch on the left. Go off the
  platform and fight Jette.

Unlike the other Mist Generator this time you won't destroy the generator
immediatly after killing its keeper. The mist generator is much deeper in the
fortress.

Go up the platform and use the switch on the left once again. Exit south

              Also bring some magic fruits
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
In the first turn Cort will summon a shield that will make him completely
invincible. Only arts can hurt him this way. Doing a lot of arts attacks
will break the shield, but it'll break after a lot of turns.

When it comes to what Cort can do, you should be afraid. His favorite
move is Guilty Cross. 1000+ damage on one person. That is not really the
move to watch out for. He can also do Mystic Circle. 1000+ on the entire
party. That is also not the move to be afraid for. The move to watch out
for is Evil Seru Magic in which he summons Juggernaut into the fight and
that is good for 2000+ damage on the entire party. If Noa doesn't have
Minea's ring she's DEAD! (unless you did make her spirit coincidently).
Your male characters may have trouble surviving that, as well. If they
are not at full HP the chance that they survive is next to nothing. Now
Cort doesn't use that spell often, but the chance the he uses it at least
once in the battle is great, and since he doesn't have to charge up for
that you never know when he's gonna do it. Cut short you MUST keep your
characters at full HP at all costs, and you may not be satisfied with
anything less.

Cort does not have extemely much HP, but due to his shield this fight
take very long. Once his shield is broken you can attack him in any way
you could in previous battles. I don't know if it's possible he'll create
a new shield, but to me it never happened. I do have the hunch that Cort
gets more agressive once the shield is broken. But that's a hunch, not
really based on cold hard facts.

When it comes to summoning a shield he'll always act first. For all
other moves he's pretty much of a slowpoke. He may only act faster than
Gala, and even that is ocasional. That gives you the time to prepare
against Evil Seru Magic, and I suggest you make use of that!!!
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this battle the Mist Generator will be destroyed.
The fortress is about to colapse and you only have 50 seconds to get
out of here. The only way in which that's possible is by using a Door of
Light.

This ends this mission. Another meeting with Cara (who always appears to
pop up at these kinds of situations. Don't you discover a pattern here?)
After she leaves its not all over.

To to Conkram to make one last discovery.
This this part of the game is fully over and you'll automaticly end up
in Rim Elm.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| Vahn 36 | Noa 36 | Gala 35 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The mist generators may be destroyed. However it's not over yet.
Seek out both Noa and Gala.
Gala is down at the Genesis Tree.
Noa is in the Elder's house (north-east of town).
Speak to them both and a messenger will appear and tell you that Songi
arrived in Rim Elm.

Now a long automated sequence will take place. And what Songi does...
Well see for yourself what happens. It ain't pretty.
(Ok, I know, Songi always was up to no good, but this time he really does
something extremely bad, and your heroes weren't protected by Ra-Seru this
would have been the end of the road).

Right now you cannot do anything about Songi's stunt. Songi seals everything
off, perfectly. Before this seal can be broken we gotta go to Seru-Kai.

Go all the way south, and at the end west to get out of here.

Go to Uru Mais (quickest way to do that is with a Door Of Wind)
Enter Uru Mais and stand on top of what's left of Uru Mais.
If you say your ready you'll end up in Seru Kai
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
ONE LAST WARNING!
Be sure you are prepared. Once you entered Seru-Kai you can not get out
until the mission is completed!

Oh yeah, this is also a one-time dungeon. Once your out of it you cannot
return.

And, since you are in the Seru world now you'll only encounter serus here.
But since you cannot rest or anything I don't recommend seru-hunting here
and especially no levelling up here.

Songi (3)

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Difficulty: Very hard
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This battle is merely based on power. The normal attack does no less
2000+ power. And yes, you're reading this correctly 2000+. There Songi
also has Chaos Flare which is does 1400+ damage. Of course the fun doesn't
end there. Songi too has a move that hurts the entire party bad. Very bad
Genocidal Cannon. 1600+ damage to all

Mostly you got one party member summoning spoon (it's the only healing
spell strong enough) or using a Heal Berry (only healing item strong
enough)

Then another bad point. Songi's speed is inpredictable. You never know if
he's gonna act first.

I hope you brought a lot of resources.
(Especially Phoenixes. You ARE going to need them)
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This will be the end of Songi and also of this mission. Look what happens
and after that you'll automaticly leave Seru-Kai and end up at the
Genesis Tree at Mt. Rikuroa.
Quickest way to get out is a door of light.

Now make your last preperations. Buy everything you need in stores
(Healing Berries, Magic Fruit and Phoenixes in particular)

and head back to Rim Elm to take on the Final Mission.
Juggernaut.

Serus: All (in level 3 form)
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
As I mentioned earlier. Prepare well. This is the final mission, and a long
one at that. Once you enter you can back out, but there are no recovery
points in the dungeon, so if you do get too short on things the only way
of getting a rest is using a Door of Light, go to a town and start over.

If you have missed some Serus on the way to get this far in the game.
All Serus can be found here. And the only place where to find serus is here
since the rest of the world is freed from the mist and all that comes with
that.

The best equipment can also be found in this place. I'll make note of it
when you can find it.

If you are sure you are fully prepared then let's get started.

- Walk up Juggernaut's body (there'll be an event in which Vahn is troubled.
Can't blame him, the game will wait until you press a key). Exit up

- Up furhter up, exit up

- Walk up towards Juggernaut's head. Exit north

- Go to Juggernaut's head and the party will automaticly remove Songi's seal.
Enter Juggernaut by hopping into its mouth

- Jump your way down and exit north-east

- Go down the stairs and exit west at the end

- Hop your way down, and exit north

- Go down the stairs and exit south

- Hop your way down and exit north-west

- Go down the stairs and exit east

- Hop your way down and exit north

- = Go north
  = First way east
= Get the Ra-Seru Armor out of the chest. Best Armor for Vahn.
  = Go back west
  = Go north
= At the end go west
= Get the Ra-Seru Robe out of the chest. Best Armor for Noa.
= Go back east all the way
= Go south at the very end
  = Follow the road
= Open the chest you come pass halfaway to get the Ra-Seru Plate.
    Best Armor for Gala.
  = Go east
  = Exit east

- Go east, exit east

- Follow the "corridor" and exit north at the end

- Jump into the stream. you can get out at the north side by keeping the
  up-directional button pressed.
  Exit north

- Follow the "corridor" and exit north

- = Follow the way and take the first sideway south
= Jump into the stream and keep the down button pressed to get out at the
    first "exit"
= Open the chest for a Ra-Seru seal. Best headgear for Vahn.
= Jump back in the stream. You'll get out of it automaticly
  = South, first way east
= Follow the road and jump into the stream east
= Keep the right button pressed until you're out of the stream
= Open teh chest for a Ra-Seru Helmet. Best headgear for Gala. (Looks silly)
= Jump back into the stream and you'll get out automaticly
= From here go back to the place where you jumped into the stream berfore
and jump into the stream again
= Keep the left direction button pressed until your out of the stream
= Open the chest for Ra-Seru Plume. Best headgear for Noa. (Looks cute)
= Jump back into the stream and you'll get out automaticlty
= Go east and follow the path and ignore all sideways.
  = Save your game
  = Exit west

- You can hop onto the "blobs" and they'll create a path. They'll disappear
behind you, but will reappear when you go back.
= Go west - all the way
= Open the chest beside Maya to get the Ra-Seru Boots. Best foorwear for
    Vahn.
  = Go north
  = Around the corner east
= Talk to Mei. She'll give you a pendant. Equipping it will increase your
    Max HP greatly.
  = Go north
  = Go west
= Open the chest beside Nene to get the Ra-Seru Shoes. Best footwear for Noa
  = Go back east
= At the end go north
= When you are at the platform with the elder keep going north
= At the next platform keep go west
  = Around the corner north
  = Exit north
(I hear you think that Vahn and Noa got their best footwear, while Gala
hasn't. That is correct. Gala's footwear can be found elsewhere in this
  dungeon).

- Go north and follow the road. Halfaway the road you'll find a chest with
the Ra-Seru Thongs. Best footwear for Gala. (See, I didn't forget about
  those).
  Go west, and exit north-west

- This and the next room are a pretty hard part to describe in a FAQ, but
I'll give it my best shot.
= Follow the path and exit east at the end (so far the easy work)

- = Follow the path till the fork
= At the fork go east
= Open the chest for a Ra-Seru Club. Best weapons for Gala.
= Go back west to the fork
  = Go south
= At the next fork go south
= At the next fork go east
= Open the chest for Ra-Seru Fangs. Best weapon for Noa.
= Go back to the fork (west)
  = Go south
= At the next fork, go west
= Open the chest for the Ra-Seru Blade. Best weapon for Vahn.
= Go back to the fork
  = Go west
  = Exit west

- = Make your way down
= Jump onto both "blobs" (once the first is press you have only 2 seconds
    to press the other).
= When the door is open save your game (this is the last chance to save)
= Make sure everybody is at full HP and MP and exit north

- Go north exit north

Now a sequence will take place and at the end you're gonna fight the
final boss.

Seru Cort
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Vahn 38 | Noa 38 | Gala 38 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Difficulty: Mediun but with a deadly move
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
On many forums this boss is called a pushover. That does not entirely do
him justice. But I gotta admit that in most of the fight he will not
cause serious trouble. But he has a few deadly moves, so caution is
required.

Normal attacks can come up to 2000+. So having a lot of HP is recommended
if you have Mei's Pendant and Minea's pendant, I suggest you equip them
both. Look well who needs them most. Normal attacks are what Cort relies
on most. He has two super moves. For one he got to charge with Ultra
Charge. That is the move "Final Crisis". That move easily deals 2200+ and
unless your levels are insanely high it's not likely you'll survive that.
If you let everybody spirit the damage can be reduced between 1300+ and
1500+ which is still a lot of damage. (Damage on the entire party). The
other supermove is "Doomsday" that move requires no charging and can do
almost as much as Final Crisis.

Cort is pretty slow so that makes it easier to plan your turns carefully.

Basically the key to victory is to make sure all chararacters are at full
HP. The "Spoon" Seru can be handy in that and the item Healing Berry.

If you want the cheesy method. If you have the Point Card with a lot of
points on it. Keep using it until it deals less than 9999 damage. I know
this will leave you an empty Point Card, but hey this is the final battle
So after this battle you got no more use for and when you got a lot of
points on it (I got about 30,000+) this battle will be significantly
shorter.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
After this battle the main part of the game is over.
There's still a small Epilogue before the game is over.
But the fighting is done.
After the sequence that follows you'll end up in Rim Elm

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Rim Elm - Epilogue | IDXC018 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I don't have much to note here. Rim Elm is fixing the damage done by Songi's
stunt. The most important people you've met during your quest will be
gathered here. Like Luctes and Dr. Usha. Basically the end of the story is
most the same, but a few little details can differ on what you do here.
To get most out of the ending I suggest you talk to everybody you can find
here. (The details on the ending are also dependant on what you say to Usha
when the epilogue starts).

When you've spoken to everybody, go to the north gate and speak with the Elder.
He'll ask you an important question about Noa. Answer whatever you think is
the right answer. After that the Elder will ask if you are truely going to
leave Rim Elm. When you say "Yes" twice the game will end.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE JUST COMPLETED THE LEGEND OF LEGAIA!

After the credits the game will show you some nice data to see how well
you did. How many Serus you absorbed, how many treasures you got, how many
times you died, and more stuff.

| Seru List | IDXD000 |
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
I'm not going into detail on how to defeat Seru enemies. This is only a list
of where to find Serus for when you want your list complete. Please note that
Seru monters are ONLY available when the specific location is engulfed in the
mist. (Exception for Seru Kai, Rogue's Tower and the final dungeon, maybe).
When there's no mist yet, or when the mist has been cleared there will
be no Seru monsters available (sometimes even no monsters at all).

Serus can be encountered in 3 levels. Absorbing them will always result in
getting the level 1 version of them. All serus can be encountered in level 3
form in the final dungeon, so I won't note those as that's senseless.

Here goes:

a complete workout of that part, that I will copy into this FAQ (I may alter
your lay-out to make it fit with the rest) and even credit you for your
trouble. This also goes for alternate boss techniques.

AND NEVER FORGET TO TELL ME WHICH FAQ OF MINE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!
I get a lot of mails in which I must guess which FAQ it is we're talking
about, and since I'm very busy as a contributor for GameFAQs, and ocasionally
other sites, I have quite a lot of FAQs here. So it will help me a lot when
I know which FAQ/Game it is you're talking about. :)

And one last thing. Below are remarks I got a lot about my FAQs. Some are
funny, and some are just plainly too stupid for words. I don't want to be
an arrogant bastard or anything, but some of them tire me a lot.
So here are those mails with my standard replies:

  M: Fix your English
A: Some people say they hardly hear the diffrence between me and an
English speaking fellow. Others say it sucks. Well, I honestly don't
care in which category you are. English is NOT my first language. If
I spoke my own language you probably couldn't read my FAQs at all.

M: You suck in levelling up
A: I know. I'm a real RPG player. I don't waste my time hours of levelling
up. In my vision that's a sort of cheating. If I wanted to do that,
I'd buy a gameshark. That works a lot faster.
No offense to those who do believe in that.

M: HEY IDIOT! FIX YOUR FAQ!
A: Anyone who sends mail like this won't receive a reply. In fact they
will be banned from ever mailing me again. I can understand you do not
agree with my technique. There are as many as there are people. I can
also agree you detected that I made a mistake. Well, I'm human you know.
Making mistakes is part of my nature, as much as it's yours. If you
detect errors in my FAQ you can tell me about it in a civil way, and
I'll fix it if I agree with you.

M: I took on the bosses you brant HARD on much lower levels with no problem
     at all.
  A: Good for you.

M: Are you a man? A woman? How old are you? Where do you live?
A: I really got that kind of mails a lot. I don't mind that you know.
I was quite amused by such mails actually.
Well, my name is Jeroen Broks. I'm not going to give my private adres
in this FAQ or anywhere else on the internet, but you may know that
I live in the Netherlands, I am a man, and I was born in 1975. So on
the moment I started on this version of this FAQ I was 31 years old.

  M: Fsdasdadasf afsdfasd afdfsaf
A: Whatever you say I don't understand it. If you mail me, please only do
so in either English or Dutch or if you really need in German.
(Be perpared that if you speak German to me, you might get an answer in
     English, tough).
I don't speak any other language.

M: May I translate your FAQ into another language?
A: If you ask my permission, mostly no problem

M: Why is Neoseeker banned from hosting your FAQs?
A: That's something between me and Neoseeker. I don't find it necesary to
go into detail about that. I noted it in my FAQs to make sure they
will never pop up there unnoticed. So don't mail me about it
cause I won't answer. I got very good reasons for it. That's all you
     need to know.

M: You know NOTHING about this game or RPG in general?
A: That I know nothing about RPG in general is something you can't say.
I spend 80% of my free time in RPG (which is quite a lot, trust me),
and I even develop them myself for a hobby. And about this game,
trust me when I say that all games I wrote a FAQ about have been played
multiple times from start to finish, and after I completed the FAQ
the game is played over and over again and again, so I can upgrade
the FAQ if I find something new, to make sure my FAQs offer the best
you can get. All games I wrote FAQs about are games I'm very devoted
to. No exceptions. If I am not sure I know the game, I won't write a
     FAQ on it.

And so far this FAQ. I hope you have good use for it!
