  For the first time ever, Capcom throws Mega Man and company into a 3D world!
Rather than aimlessly wandering around blasting enemies, Mega Man Legends puts
more emphasis on exploration and does so by including several side quests and
other assorted Easter eggs. This results in a fun gaming experience, although
this game is fairly short (under five hours, depending on your skill). If you
beat the default difficulty, be sure to try the game out on hard and easy!

Mega Man Legends' storyline, from the instruction manual...

IN A WORLD COVERED BY ENDLESS WATER...

  People are forced to eke out a living on the small patches of land that
remain above the sea. The people of this world rely on ancient technology
driven by quantum refractors, a powerful energy source. These refractors lie
in ancient ruins underground and in the sea and are sought out by explorers
called "Diggers." These brave explorers are the sole source of refractor
energy which has become a cornerstone of the emerging civilization.

  Originally, this was the Diggers' only purpose: to find refractors so that
civilization would endure.

  However over the years, the story of an incredible treasure, the legend-
ary Mother Lode, began to be whispered among the Diggers.

  The Mother Lode... A treasure so great that were it discovered, it would
provide so much power that the world need never fear of running out of energy.

  In search of this Mother Lode, Diggers travel from one island to another in
their flying machines, ever hoping that they'll find what they seek just over
the horizon.

  Who can say what truly motivates the Diggers?

  One day a well known digger, Barrell Casket, found a baby in an archeo-
logical site. He named the baby MegaMan Volnutt and raised him with his
granddaughter Roll.

  Fourteen years have now passed since the disappearance of Roll's parents
while they were excavating a site. MegaMan and Roll have followed in the
footsteps of Roll's parents in an effort to both discover the truth of their
mysterious disappearance and to find the long lost family treasure...the
Mother Lode.

ITEMS: 560Z, Power Raiser

  Upon beginning a new game, Roll and MegaMan are in the process of searching
for a refractor underground, and in the style of Indiana Jones, touching the
oversized crystal sets off a series of traps. You gain control of MegaMan
after he starts to run off.

  Head south to receive a warning from Roll about Reaverbots (those enemies
hiding in the walls up ahead). As you approach each of the robots, it pops
out of the wall, but you are given enough time to blast it before the robot
can do anything to harm MegaMan. Turn right when Roll tells you so.

  Open up the nearby door, and engage the couple Reaverbots around the metal
pillars. Continue north. Dash up the ramp, and then climb onto the ledge
by jumping. After the robot patrol passes by, advance into the hallway,
making a side trip to the small room containing a crate. Destroying this box
nets you a decent amount of Zenny to use later.

  Further along the hall lies a protective energy barrier. Obviously, you
can't just run through it, so find a switch! Follow Roll's suggestion when
you encounter a spider robot roaming around the ceiling; this is a good time
to practice using the lock-on technique.

  In the following room, shoot at the two electrical devices to disable those
barriers. Examine the two chests here for 560Z and a Power Raiser, which you
should equip immediately. Return to the barricade, and activate the door
located there to encounter...

BOSS: HanmuruDoll

  This incredibly slow, lumbering Reaverbot poses very little threat to the
Blue Bomber. Its only attack is to slam its lengthy arm on the ground, cre-
ating a few small explosions. The easiest strategy is to wait until it
attacks, and then strafe off to the side and fire away. Rinse and repeat.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  Unfortunately for our blue hero, that boss is not quite done for, because it
tries to ambush MegaMan and send him into the ocean. Roll shows up to save
the day, and their ship ends up crashing on Kattleox Island.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
  Needless to say, the Flutter won't be going anywhere for a long while!
Barrel advises MegaMan to search out for a town nearby. Take a look at the
crudely drawn sign north of the Flutter to discover a path leading to town,
but the police show up on the scene before MegaMan can do anything. While
Barrel goes with the Inspector, continue along the path to Apple Market.

ITEMS: 20Z, 50Z, 100Z, Broken Cleaner

  Your first order of business is to raid the garbage cans and cardboard boxes
here to gain some extra Zenny and the Broken Cleaner. Enter the Lightning
Parts Center, and talk to the woman inside. Although she doesn't have any
ship parts, agree to look for her husband. You can find him by entering the
dome-shaped structure outside Apple Market.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
ITEMS: 2600Z, Rapid Fire

  Ignore the nearby door for now because it leads to a dead end. Around the
corner, watch out for the two Reaverbots camping on a high ledge, and another
enemy pops out by the next right turn! Check the hole there for 2600Z.
Advance through the dungeon, and eliminate the snake robots trapping the
woman's husband. He thanks MegaMan for his help and runs back to his shop.
Open the nearby doors.

  The Reaverbots entrenched in the ground sprout to life if you approach them,
and they explode on contact, so be careful! Two more 'bots are in the halls,
which makes combat a little more interesting. In the following area, you are
forced to deal with remote-controlled Reaverbots for the first time, and they
can be easily defeated by destroying the stationary robot beacons. Examine
the treasure chest for the Rapid Fire part. Return to the parts shop.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->

  For his efforts, MegaMan is given the Mine Parts Kit and an old car, which
conveniently does not run anymore (how useful!). Visit Roll outside town, and
have her build the Splash Mine special weapon from the parts kit. After exit-
ing the car, a police officer shows up to hand MegaMan his new Citizen's Card,
allowing him to access more areas of the city.

  Return to the junk shop in the shopping area, and purchase a couple Life
Gauges and new parts (preferably a Power Raiser Alpha and Range Booster
Alpha). After exiting the store, sneak up to the kids with Circle, and eaves-
drop on their conversation. Continue on to Downtown.

ITEMS: 10Z, Broken Motor

  Tron Bonne chats with her Servbots and then quickly leaves the scene.
Search the trashcans to uncover 10Z and the Broken Motor, and enter the north
gate to reach City Hall.

  Dash up the ramp, and speak to one of the police officers standing outside
the main City Hall building. Go inside when the cop says so. Inside, Barrel
and the mayor Amelia discuss a possible pirate threat due to the legendary
treasure hidden underneath the island. Exit.

  After appearing outside, MegaMan witnesses Tron being chased around the area
by a barking dog. Amusing, eh? Pass through the south gate.

  Talk to Tron once you spot her hanging from a street light, and persuade the
dog to leave the girl alone. Backtrack to where Roll is to uncover flying
pirate ships that are planning to attack the city. While Roll runs off to
find Barrel, save at the Apple Market before making your way into Downtown.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Blumebear (x3), Drache (x2)

  As the game informs you, each Servbot's machine has a special ability: red
focuses on combat, blue has a fast speed, and yellow has more life. One of
these contains the key you need, but you can't tell who has it unless you
destroy the machines. Although there are two ships flying above, you should
concentrate on the Blumebears instead.

  Each Blumebear uses the same basic attacks. They either shoot their machine
guns or throw bombs at MegaMan. Strafing is the strategy here! Run circles
around your opponents as you fire at them, and you won't have any trouble.
Keep destroying the robots until you acquire the key.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  Naturally, Tron isn't too happy about the defeat of her Servbots, so...

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Feldinaut

  The Feldinaut poses more of a threat than the Blumebears, but it's still a
piece of cake. As always, strafing is your best bet to avoid any attacks.

  This creation can spin around, spraying either bombs or bullets in every
possible direction. Simply retreat so MegaMan is far enough away from the
attacks. The Feldinaut also launches shockwaves by putting its front two
legs together, but you can just jump to the side to dodge it. Generally,
have MegaMan sidestep and fire, and you will eventually knock the 'bot down.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  After watching a smoky Tron bounce all over the place, MegaMan is about to
apologize to her, but Tron taunts MegaMan and retreats in the Servbots' ship.
Save and recharge with Data, and visit City Hall.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
 <-   [5.3]   the pirate invasion                          [ city hall ]   ->
<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
  Unfortunately for our blue hero, he is not quite of the pirate woods yet,
as they have already begun attacking City Hall! The red machines attack the
City Hall building itself, while the other yellow ones assault the nearest
structure in their range. Immediately take out any red robots because if
City Hall is lost, then you fail the mission. Make some use out of those
Splash Mines to help eliminate them a little faster. After you have destroyed
a couple, start attacking the carriers that are shuttling the machines to this
area. Bon Bonne makes an appearance once you have defeated them...

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Bon Bonne

  This boss battle is more challenging than the last ones were, so don't let
your guard down! Bon starts off the fight by deploying several homing rockets
that can only be avoided by strafing (and jumping at the same time doesn't
hurt either). It also uses its tongue to poke MegaMan, but you have plenty of
time to get out of its way. Bon may also clap and sandwich MegaMan. Again,
strafe and jump to evade the attack, and as always, you want to sidestep and
shoot to defeat the boss.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  In return for saving the city from an untimely demise, Amelia hands MegaMan
and Roll a Class B License. Roll displays her latest accomplishment of fully
repairing the car, so now you can actually put it to good use! Talk to her
inside to get the lowdown on what this vehicle can do. She also hands MegaMan
a Walkie-Talkie. If you want, stop by the junk shop to pick up a Flak Jacket
and whatever else you may need. Head through City Hall's north gate to
continue on.

ITEMS: 200Z, Safety Helmet

  Upon entering, MegaMan is greeted with a Servbot tank! Strafe around the
vehicle, as usual, to take it out. Their poor maneuverability makes them even
easier to defeat. As you continue towards the first house and then turn
right, you should take notice of the artillery cannons placed on the hill, for
their firing range is VERY long! Make sure MegaMan is always on the move.

  Before you leave the artillery area, you can get on top of the plateau by
standing on a hill and leaping forward. MegaMan should be able to grab a hold
of the ledge, allowing you to climb up. Here, examine the Plasma Cell box
near the house for a Safety Helmet. There is also 200Z in a trashcan beside
an old, abandoned house. Enter the tunnel at the end to reach Clozer Woods.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->

ITEMS: 30Z, Broken Propeller

  More tanks! Cross the bridge, and travel to the right to find Data guarding
the cave door. Save with him before going in.

  Destroy the tanks, and approach the digging site...

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Marlwolf

  As the game instructs you, your first target should be the robot's treads.
Use your arm cannon and some Splash Mines to damage them, greatly decreasing
the Marlwolf's speed. At this point, climb the cliffs, eliminate any tanks
you may encounter there, and focus back on Tiesel's bot.

  The Marlwolf has two main attacks: firing large green energy shots and
deploying several bomb-carrying birds. Some of the shots may home in on
MegaMan, so you can may need to perform a cartwheel (Left or Right + X) to
dodge it. The bombs are easily destroyed with a single arm cannon shot.
Every once in a while, the hatch on the Marlwolf opens up, and you must shoot
this to damage the robot. If your shots' range is long enough, you can stand
on a cliff and blast the opening from there, but if not, jump on the back of
the Marlwolf and fire point-blank.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  With the pirate 'bot gone, climb back out of the pit, and Roll contacts
MegaMan to tell to return back to City Hall. Amelia hands our hero the Class
A License after you agree to help the pirate problem. The mayor also mentions
that you can donate money to help repair any buildings damaged during the city
battle with the Bonnes.

  Have Roll develop the Helmet in the support car, and then visit the Downtown
area. A trashcan here holds the Blumebear Parts, which are used to create the
Machine Buster weapon. Go through the west gate to reach Uptown. Search the
trashcans there for the Broken Propeller and 30Z. Roll should now be able to
develop the Machine Buster and the Vaccum Arm, a handy special weapon used for
collecting shards dropped by enemies. If you are looking for a little extra
cash, stop by the television studio, and play some of the mini-games. When
you are ready, call Roll, and tell her to drive to Cardon Forest.

  Follow the path that goes behind the Flutter until you come across a woman
standing beside a cave. She tells MegaMan pirates are patrolling on the other
side.  Go in!

  Unlike the other encounters, Roll is here to "back up" MegaMan. Eliminate
all of the tanks and cannons so Roll can safely move through the area. You
come across a fence at the end, but our heroine rams it down in the car.
Enter the tower.

ITEMS: 300Z, Cardon Forest Sub-Gate Key (x3), Grenade Kit, Old Bone, Old Doll,
       Spring Set, Yellow Refractor

  Upon hitting the bottom, turn right, and approach the shiny yellow crystal.
Unfortunately for MegaMan, it is shielded, and the starters are missing from
the control panel, so it's time to do a little searching! Enter the door.

  Before you hop across the first gap, you might want to repeatedly blast the
purple bundle until it releases several insect Reaverbots. Doing so leaves
behind a nice chunk of Zenny! This is a great time to gather up money for
parts and donations to the city. See that green board sticking up? Shoot it
to turn it into a makeshift bridge. Destroy the purple robot, cross over to
where it was sitting, and grab the tiny object laying on the ground. This is
one of the three starters you need to collect. Blast the next board in your
sight, and pass through the door that is right after it.

  Immediately take out all of the hovering enemies, for they explode upon
contact. Examine the hole in the wall for the Old Doll, and then proceed into
the hallway to the right of the hole. Turn left at the split to uncover a
chest containing the Grenade Kit. Turn around, and head up the ramp. Here,
the ice panels collapse if MegaMan stands on them. Step on the panel holding
up the chest, and let it fall. Touch the white switch to activate the con-
veyor belt, leading MegaMan and the box down to a compactor (watch out for
the Reaverbots!). After the chest is crushed, the second key flies out.
Take it, search the hole for 300Z, and return to the ice panel room.

  This time around, advance the entire way across. Open the door at the
other side. Snatch the Spring Set from the chest and the Old Bone out of the
wall before entering the next door. The electric field found here can only be
turned off by hitting the three switches. Starting with the green one,
quickly hit all three, and dash through the corridor where the barriers were.
The final starter key is located in this hall, so once you have it, backtrack
to the refractor. Lower the shield, and it's all yours! Go up the platform.

  Needless to say, Roll is very excited over MegaMan's discovery, though it
will not quite fix the Flutter. Run Item Development to obtain the Grenade
Arm and the Jump Springs. Head back into the sub-gate, turn left when you
reach the bottom, and hop onto the ledge (after you equip the Jump Springs).
Pass through the door you find up there.

ITEMS: 820Z, 1180Z, 9240Z, Buster Unit, Rollerboard

  Keep going forward to discover a small room with a chest containing the
Rollerboard. Exit, and proceed up the ramp. Search the two holes after you
eliminate the robots for 9240Z and 820Z, and then head through the nearby
corridor. Blast open the block to release Zenny and some worms. Open up the
box to gain 1180Z. Cross over to the high ledge on the other side of this
room to spot two chests, one contains a Buster Unit while the second one is
actually a trap! Destroy the two crates blocking a hallway, and enter the
door at the end. Drop down the catwalk here, and you eventually find yourself
back at the game's beginning dungeon.

  While you are near Apple Market, stop in at the junk shop because several
new pricey parts are now available. Call up Roll when you are ready, and head
to Uptown.

ITEMS: 10Z, 20Z

  Your next destination is at the top of the hill at Wily's boat rentals.
Search the boxes there for 20Z, and travel to where the broken down boat is.
10Z can be found in the trashcan, if you actually need it. Talk with the
construction worker standing by the boat, and he reveals that he requires a
new refractor to get it working, which MegaMan conveniently has. Call up Roll
to have her fix it up. When everything is all said and done, save with Data,
and hitch a ride on the new vehicle.

  Naturally, Roll and MegaMan are not going to have an easy ride on the sea,
so you must defend the ship from various robots that pop out of the water.
The yellow ones launch homing missiles, while the red bots fire torpedoes.
Keep in mind you CAN destroy the torpedoes and missiles simply by shooting at
them. Eventually flying pirate ships descend upon MegaMan, so you should
focus your attacks on them for the meantime. Roll soon comments on a large
sonar blip, and it's the Bonne's latest machine! You cannot fight it very
well right now, but you can at least shoot down its missiles. When Roll gives
you the option, select retreat. By doing so, you can enter a head-to-head
fight with the Barcon with full energy!

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Barcon

  When the battle begins, continue taking down the homing missiles until Roll
leads the ship into a trench. The two ships eventually reach a large lake...

  This is the real fight! Start things off by firing at the robot's arms,
and as Roll moves to the back of it, take out the two gun emplacements there.
The Barcon does not really do much damage, so there shouldn't be a problem.
With its weapons removed, Tiesel decides to bring out the "big guns" by
deploying a rear cannon. As long as you continue to hit it, it will not be
able to fire any large energy shots. Again, not terribly difficult.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  At the island save with Data, and enter the next sub-gate.

ITEMS: 220Z, 1240Z, 5130Z, Gatling Part, Joint Plug, Old Hoverjets, Ring,
       Rapid Striker, Lake Jyun Sub-Gate Key (x3)

  Pass through the two doors at the start, and fight your way past the robots
until you find a small circular area. Examine the two holes found there for
1240Z and 220Z. Shortly afterwards you come across a split. Take the right
hallway to find the Old Hoverjets in a chest, and then follow the other route
to continue forward. If you feel like it, return to town, and have Roll
develop the Jet Skates from the Rollerboard and Old Hoverjets.

  These clam Reaverbots can cause trouble for MegaMan if you are not careful.
Fire repeatedly at one until it flips over. This is the only time the robot
is vulnerable to your attacks! If you proceed through the small hallway off
to the left, you can grab a starter key from a chest and the Gatling Part out
of the hole in the wall. Return to the main hall. Rather than entering the
large door here, head through the corridor off to the right. In an alcove in
this hall, you can find a Ring inside a hole. Continue through the door
located at the end.

  Walk along the ledge in this water room to discover a treasure chest holding
the second starter key. One more! In the water area, examine the box in the
middle for the Joint Plug. Face the same direction that the opened chest
points to, and approach the door there. However, do not go through the door,
but walk into the nearby hall. Jump onto the column, and use that to reach
the corridor leading to the final starter key. You can also obtain 5130Z from
the crack in the wall. As you leave the hall, turn left, and follow the ledge
to the door you must enter next.

  Time to gun down some whales! When you encounter two paths beside each
other, take the left route to come across the Rapid Striker in the ruins.
Return to the whale hallway, and enter the big door at the end. Ignore the
thing you spy here, and head forward to the refractor. Nab it! Naturally,
that yellow column is actually a king-sized Reaverbot!

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Garudoriten

  As if you couldn't guess by now, strafing mixed with a bit of jumping is
crucial to avoiding this robot's attacks. Garudoriten can only be harmed by
blasting its tiny head, which is much easier said than done. Fortunately,
its attacks are fairly easy to dodge. This Reaverbot frequently dives at
MegaMan, but you can counter that by sidestepping and jumping when necessary.
Garudoriten may also create a shockwave by stomping in the room's center.
Simply jump over the shockwave when it approaches you. Circle Garudoriten,
and fire your weapon when you jump into the air. One or two shots should hit
its head. While this battle can be time-consuming, it's not very hard.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  Now, get the hell outta there. Roll has a seizure over the refractor and
immediately decides to get working on the Flutter.

ITEMS: Bomb Schematic

  After fixing the ship, Roll suggests that MegaMan go talk to Gramps, so go
find him in the living room. He explains the connection between the sub-gates
and the so-called "Main Gate," and the final sub-gate you need to visit is
inside Clozer Woods. Visit Barrel's room at the end of the hallway, and open
the box stashed behind a bookcase for the Bomb Schematic. Tell Roll to run
Item Development, and you should gain the Grand Grenade and Adapter Plug.
Back inside the Flutter, have Roll transport MegaMan to the sub-gate (and
make sure you have the Grand Grenade equipped!).

ITEMS: 450Z, 920Z, 1200Z, 1840Z, Antique Bell, Clozer Woods Sub-Gate Key (x3),
       Guidance Unit, Target Sensor, Tele-lens

  Pass through the door immediately in front of you, and fall down the pit.
Turn around after landing to discover a door leading to a bizarre computer
room. Here you can witness MegaMan's wonderful ability to read! Basically,
what MegaMan means here is that you must collect three ID cards to move on
(sound familiar?). Enter the door you ignored a short while ago.

  Three Reaverbots patrol this room, so you should start running as you
appear. If you so desire, take them out, but head towards the room left of
the door you just came out of. The two holes here hold 450Z and the Tele-
lens. Back in the main room, go through the doors found on the other end,
and MegaMan ends up on a ledge with a box containing the Guidance Unit.
Return to the big room, and activate the final door you have not entered yet.

  Hop down the hole, and go into the next door. In this mammoth circular
room, destroy any enemies you come across, and examine the cracks around the
pillars to gain 1840Z, 1200Z, Antique Bell, and 920Z. Also, snag an ID Card
from the treasure chest located on one of the high ledges. Enter the door
on the other side of the room from where you originally entered (not the one
on the pillar).

  Immediately take a left down a hallway leading to a Target Sensor. Travel
through the corridor, and make a right at the fork (going left takes you to
the massive underground ruins area). Continue battling past the pseudo-
samurai Reaverbots, and enter the door.

  Check out the size of this place! Activate the generator to restore power
to all of the elevators in the sub-gate. Obtain the second ID Card from the
box in the back of the room. Backtrack to the large circle room, and enter
the door located on the central pillar.

  Trash the spider robots crawling around the area, and Roll comments on
something strange on her radar. Look up to spot a damaged ceiling block.
Toss one of your Grand Grenades at it to blow the square to pieces, revealing
a hidden place up above. Pass through the door, ride the elevator down,
and prepare to battle...

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Karumuma (x3)

  If you are careless, it is very easy to be defeated in this battle. These
three wolves are all identical, despite the different colors and separate life
meters. The only viable strategy here is to encircle the Reaverbots, and
continue jumping and strafing while firing at them. Your damage is spread
lightly between all three foes, so it may take a while to take them out. The
Karumumas possess two attacks: diving or breathing fire. AVOID THE FIRE AT
ALL COSTS! It inflicts great damage and cripples MegaMan's shield. Do not
waste your time collecting the shards left behind; concentrate on taking them
down first.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  The third and final ID Card is found through the door up ahead. Follow
along the ledge to the box. Of course, your next course of action is to
visit the computer room. With the help of the three cards, MegaMan activates
the "Emergency System," which unlocks the Main Gate. Return to Roll.

  As always, run Item Development to gain the Active Buster and Sniper Scope.
Tell Roll to return to Cardon Forest, although the crew encounters a tiny lil
problem...

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Gesellschaft

  Tiesel's getting serious this time around because you are now fighting his
own pirate ship! Shoot the Draches out of the sky, and the battle shifts to
the Gesellschaft itself. Roll maneuvers the Flutter underneath the ship, so
take advantage of this by blasting the ship's hull. Hitting it enough times
sets off a fire.

  As the Gesellschaft moves in front of the Flutter, the Bonnes deploy a
series of skull bombs, and you better take them out before they damage your
ship! When the Flutter moves to the side of Tiesel's ship, destroy the three
cannons, and then concentrate on damaging the wing. Repeat the same thing for
the other side.

  Once all three areas have been crippled, Tiesel starts launching green
energy shots from the ship's skull. Simply stand there, fire away, and watch
the Gesellschaft explode in a bright blast.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  Unfortunately, it isn't over yet...

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Falcurerufe

  This sky-going robot poses a greater threat than the Gesellschaft did.
The Falcurerufe launches three homing missiles, but do your best to strafe or
cartwheel out of their path before MegaMan is pummeled into oblivion. This
boss flies above the Flutter and fires its machine gun, which deals light
damage to your ship. The only time you can really harm the Falcurerufe is
when it hovers over the Flutter or travels across it. The rest of the battle
you will be dodging missiles.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  Professor Barrel tells MegaMan that the Main Gate has been opened, which
means you should go there next. Pick up new parts at the junk shop if you
want, but then tell Roll to drive the support car to the Main Gate (or work
your way through Old City on foot).

ITEMS: 2170Z, 10000Z, Autofire Barrel, Blunted Drill, Buster Unit Omega,
       Shiny Red Stone

  Who the hell "composed" this music?

  Dash down the spiral, examine the hole in the wall for 10000Z, and enter the
first door you spot for a chest containing Buster Unit Omega. Continue on
through the next door further down the corridor. Walk around the corner to
uncover a strange machine. Order the computer to unlock the sub-cities,
despite the warning it gives MegaMan.

  Proceed forward into an open room guarded by another wolf robot. Because
there is only one this time, you should not have a problem taking it out.
Do not bother with the two doors in this room since they lead into the huge
underground network, and instead, follow the corridor. Thoroughly search the
hall for cracks and treasure boxes, and you should be able to collect 2170Z,
Shiny Red Stone, Autofire Barrel, and the Blunted Drill. When you are done
with ransacking, backtrack the entire way to the surface.

  Obtain the Drill Arm weapon by having Roll run Item Development. At this
point in the game, the three sub-cities' entrances appear in Downtown, Old
City, and Uptown. Head to Downtown for the first one.

ITEMS: Sleeper Key

  Your primary task here is to destroy every single Reaverbot. When you have
finished doing so, the purple building's gate opens up, and walk inside to
gain the Sleeper Key, one of the three keys necessary to open the Central
Gate. Shove off to the surface and then to Uptown.

ITEMS: Dreamer Key

  Unlike the last city, you must fight a mini-boss, which isn't really much of
a threat to MegaMan. Every time it deploys a Reaverbot, its rear hatch flips
up, making it vulnerable to your weapon fire. Keep blasting it until the boss
runs out of energy... Now take the Dreamer Key from the green structure.
Return to the Main Gate.

  Remember those two doors near the sub-city computer I told you to ignore?
Enter that first door on the left to enter some ruins, which puts MegaMan back
on the surface in Old City. Open the warehouse door to discover...

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: Bruno

  After Tron and MegaMan have a humorous conversation, the Bonnes get back to
business with their latest creation, Bruno, and this monstrosity is definitely
no pushover! Use the buildings to your advantage by hiding behind them when
Bruno attacks MegaMan. Most structures are destructible, but the two black
gateways are invulnerable to the robot's weaponry. So, if you can manage it,
duck behind these buildings, and assault Bruno between his attacks.

  The Bonnes' robot sticks to three different offensive moves: bombs, energy
shots, and missiles. The bombs are launched out of its legs and can be fired
for quite a distance, so pay attention! The missiles are easily taken cared
of by firing a couple arm cannons at them. As always, those blasted green
balls are the worst of the bunch. As long as you continue to hide behind the
small black structures you are fairly well protected from Bruno.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  The third sub-city entrance is found on top of the warehouse rubble.

ITEMS: Watcher Key

  Same as before. Defeat all the enemies, and take the last key. Since you
have all the necessary keys, it's time to visit the Main Gate once again!

  Before you proceed to the game's final area, you may wish to finish up any
side quests you have not done so far. Also, it would be a good idea to build
up your Energy Canteen to at least 15-20 units.

ITEMS: Power Stream

  On the spiral, walk down the entire way to reach the Central Gate. Use the
three keys to get all of the doors, and enter the following room. MegaMan
discovers a strange character who plans to do some "cleansing" of the island's
inhabitants, but our hero is trapped in an electric field before he can do
anything to stop the plan. Conveniently, Tron and Tiesel show up to free
MegaMan!

  Once you regain control, turn around the corner, and snatch the Power Stream
out of the treasure chest. Equip it right now, for it maxes out MegaMan's
attack rating. Continue through the corridor, and enter the door.

  Ooh, so shiny! Pass by the refractor to uncover more Reaverbot-infested
hallways. Make a right at the fork, otherwise you will be taken to a dead
end. Save when you encounter Data because the final boss is on the other
side...

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: MegaMan Juno (First Form)

  Do not be fooled by his tiny energy meter! MegaMan Juno absorbs much more
damage than what you may be led to believe.

  Once again, strafe and jump! Juno can dive at MegaMan, but that should not
even be a concern for you if you are sidestepping. He utilizes in his lasers
in one of ways: one hand at a time or rotating both lasers around the room.
The latter is more challenging to evade; you need to jump at the right moment.
Finally, several blue explosions can erupt in the room's center, indicating
that Juno is about to appear. After he teleports in, his fists slam the
ground and create a shockwave.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  C'mon, did you think that was it? This is a Mega Man game!

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
BOSS: MegaMan Juno (Second Form)

  Juno pulls a Sigma by transplanting his remaining torso into a giant armored
robot... This boss charges MegaMan like last time, but you should probably
jump out of its way (instead of simply strafing) to be sure. Juno creates
a few streams of explosions, which are avoidable with a nice jump. This boss
also tosses a gigantic fireball, but its slow speed makes it easy to counter.
When Juno's energy is approaching critical, his last-ditch attack involves a
shockwave followed by a barrage of rainbow lasers. Continue sidestepping to
avoid the beams, unless you want MegaMan to have his circuits fried. This
battle will take a long while (now, maybe if you have the Active Buster or
Shining Laser...), so focus on being able to dodge his attacks. If you can
manage that, you will be capable of outlasting Juno in the fight.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  Game over, man! Game over! Now, watch the ending!

Normal Arm
----------
Parts Required: None
Upgrades: [ATK] None
          [ENG] None
          [RNG] None
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] None

  Nothing too special here. MegaMan simply kicks with his leg.

-------------
Active Buster
-------------
Parts Required: Guidance Unit
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (30,000Z) --> Lv 3 (85,000Z) --> Lv 4 (200,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2  (5,000Z) --> Lv 3 (35,000Z) --> Lv 4 (990,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2 (20,000Z) --> Lv 3 (60,000Z) --> Lv 4 (100,000Z)
          [RPD] Lv 2  (8,000Z) --> Lv 3 (28,000Z) --> Lv 4  (84,000Z)
          [SPC] Lv 2  (5,000Z) --> Lv 3 (30,000Z) --> Lv 4  (60,000Z)

  As if you can't tell from the upgrades, improving this weapon will cost you
an insane amount of Zenny, but it's all worth it. The Active Buster deploys a
small missile that tracks enemy targets. When fully upgraded, this weapon has
unlimited energy and can tear apart enemy robots in no time at all.

---------
Blade Arm
---------
Parts Required: Pen Light, Zetsabre
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (4,000Z) --> Lv 3 (8,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2 (1,000Z) --> Lv 3 (2,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2 (3,000Z) --> Lv 3 (8,000Z) --> Lv 4 (12,000Z)
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] None

  Since MegaMan primarily uses ranged weapons, the Blade Arm definitely brings
out a new style of play. MegaMan slashes forward with a sword and sends out a
wave for a small distance. This weapon does not inflict much damage and has a
short range, making it very difficult to make use of.

---------
Drill Arm
---------
Parts Required: Blunted Drill
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (3,000Z) --> Lv 3  (8,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2 (5,000Z) --> Lv 3 (12,000Z)
          [RNG] None
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] None

  The Drill Arm is mainly intended to break through any weakened walls you may
encounter while underground. Although it is possible to attack with it, it's
really not a smart thing to do...

-------------
Grand Grenade
-------------
Parts Required: Bomb Schematic
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (100,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2  (50,000Z) --> Lv 3 (150,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2  (14,000Z)
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] None

  Needless to say, this a heavily upgraded version of the Grenade Arm.
MegaMan throws a potato masher grenade that releases several explosions upon
contact with the enemy. This weapon can also destroy some weak walls.

-----------
Grenade Arm
-----------
Parts Required: Grenade Kit
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (6,500Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2 (1,200Z) --> Lv 3 (4,000Z) --> Lv 4 (8,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2 (1,400Z) --> Lv 3 (5,000Z)
          [RPD] Lv 2 (2,000Z) --> Lv 3 (3,000Z)
          [SPC] None

  Obviously, this allows MegaMan to toss grenades in combat. To make them
bounce far ahead of you, either jump while throwing, or throw after looking up
with R2.

--------------
Machine Buster
--------------
Parts Required: Blumebear Parts
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (3,400Z) --> Lv 3 (10,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2 (3,000Z) --> Lv 3  (8,000Z) --> Lv 4 (12,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2 (2,600Z)
          [RPD] Lv 2 (5,000Z) --> Lv 3 (10,000Z)
          [SPC] Lv 2 (1,200Z) --> Lv 3  (2,000Z)

  As the name suggests, this is a machine gun capable of firing several rounds
within a short amount of time. The shots do some decent damage, so this
weapon does have its uses.

--------------
Powered Buster
--------------
Parts Required: Cannon Kit
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (3,500Z) --> Lv 3 (11,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2 (5,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2 (1,600Z) --> Lv 3  (3,200Z) --> Lv 4 (6,400Z)
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] None

  The Powered Buster launches a fiery blast that explodes upon contact. While
it is fairly damaging, the shot travels sluggishly, which makes targeting
a little interesting. Great against slow, lumbering enemies.

----------
Shield Arm
----------
Parts Required: Mystic Orb, Marlwolf Shell
Upgrades: [ATK] None
          [ENG] Lv 2 (12,000Z) --> Lv 3 (24,000Z) --> Lv 4 (36,000Z)
          [RNG] None
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] Lv 2 (20,000Z)

  By creating a shield with his arm, MegaMan can block many incoming attacks
without having to worry about being damaged. The fire button must be held
down to keep the shield active, so energy is depleted very quickly. You are
probably better off learning to avoid the attacks to begin with and stick to
using a different weapon instead.

-------------
Shining Laser
-------------
Parts Required: Weapon Plans, Prism Crystal, X Buster
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (50,000Z) --> Lv 3 (100,000Z) --> Lv 4 (250,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2 (50,000Z) --> Lv 3 (100,000Z) --> Lv 4 (200,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2 (25,000Z) --> Lv 3  (60,000Z)
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] None

  This fun toy fires an ice-colored beam in front of MegaMan that pierces
right through enemy robots. Remember that MegaMan cannot move while using
this weapon. If you can afford to fully upgrade it, the Shining Laser causes
a great deal of damage and has unlimited energy, too!

-----------
Splash Mine
-----------
Parts Required: Mine Parts Kit
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (3,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2   (800Z) --> Lv 3 (1,600Z)
          [RNG] None
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] None

  Being the first special weapon available, the Splash Mine is fairly useless.
MegaMan tosses a mine onto the ground, and any enemy clumsy enough to step on
it receives an explosion to the face.

-------------
Spread Buster
-------------
Parts Required: Ancient Book, Arm Supporter, Old Launcher
Upgrades: [ATK] Lv 2 (45,000Z) --> Lv 3 (89,000Z)
          [ENG] Lv 2 (18,000Z) --> Lv 3 (30,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2 (12,000Z)
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] Lv 2 (20,000Z) --> Lv 3 (35,000Z)

  After upgrading it to the maximum, the Spread Buster becomes a very helpful
explosive weapon. It launches several grenades in an arc. If you can get
close enough, you can hit a single enemy multiple times and take it out much
quicker than normal.

----------
Vacuum Arm
----------
Parts Required: Broken Cleaner, Broken Motor, Broken Propeller
Upgrades: [ATK] None
          [ENG] Lv 2 (1,000Z)
          [RNG] Lv 2   (500Z) --> Lv 3 (1,000Z)
          [RPD] None
          [SPC] Lv 2   (500Z) --> Lv 3 (2,500Z) --> Lv 4 (5,000Z)

  Have trouble collecting all of the Zenny left by enemies? This rather
unique weapon enables MegaMan to suck up all of the items lying on the ground,
and naturally, this saves you a lot of time and trouble. Always have this
equipped when you need to collect more money to purchase items and parts.

This section lists the side quests and their rewards.

REWARD: None

  While it not seem like a real side quest, fixing certain buildings can open
up other tasks for you to take on. Visit Amelia at City Hall after the pirate
battle in the city, and tell her you would like to make a donation. The money
you need to fork over depends on how many buildings were destroyed in the
firefight. Once you make your donations to the mayor, reconstruction will
begin shortly, so you should complete a few other side quests in the meantime.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
REWARD: Broken Circuits, Marlwolf Shell, Old Heater, X Buster

  One of the abandoned shacks on the Yass Plains belongs to a group of kids
that use it as their clubhouse. Go there, speak with Jim, and say you want to
join his gang. Your first assigned job to obtain a pickax. You can snag one
from one of the construction workers at City Hall (just talk to him). Hand
the pick over to Jim, and the gang will start working on the house. You must
complete another side quest before you can proceed in this one.

  The second item you need to find is a saw. Chat with the same construction
worker to learn he threw it away while working in Downtown. So, head there,
and search the trashcan near the sub-city entrance. Give the item to Jim.
Once again, do another quest before you return to the clubhouse.

  After a while, the clubhouse remodeling is finished, complete with a sexy
poster of a random anime chick. Search the junk pile for the Marlwolf Shell.
However, this side quest is not over just yet.

  Collect the Comic Book located near the shack on the plateau, and hand it
over to Jim to gain the X Buster. Now, head past the clubhouse, and advance
towards the ruins entrance. On the hill near the dome building lies a Stag
Beetle. Trade it for the Broken Circuits with Jim. Travel to the Cardon
Forest Sub-Gate entrance, and snatch the Beetle from a nearby hill. This
gets the Old Heater from Jim.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
REWARD: Sun-light

  Chat with the man pacing in front of the vegetable stand in Apple Market to
learn that his wife went out for a walk and has yet to return. Walk through
the winding rock formation behind the Flutter, turn to the right around the
corner, and speak with the woman leaning on the rock. Take her back to the
hospital. When you appear at the hospital, re-enter the building, and talk to
the husband waiting on a bench. He gives MegaMan the Sun-light.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
 <-   break a leg                                                          ->
<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
REWARD: Flower Pearl

  Visit the hospital, and talk to the little girl in the waiting room. Re-
enter the building, speak with the receptionist, and enter Ira's room. The
nurse in her room says that Ira would be able to walk again if the hospital
bought new equipment. Donate 15000Z to Amelia at City Hall for these modern
medical tools. Return to Ira at the hospital. Within the past five minutes,
she has somehow regained full mobility of her legs. Amazing, eh? Ira rewards
MegaMan with her Flower Pearl.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
REWARD: Bomb, Plastique

  Stop by the Police Station, and speak with the Inspector two times in a row.
He mentions to MegaMan that a kid with a yellow face dropped three items in
Downtown. Check it out by going through the south gate.

  As it turns out, the Servbot left three bombs behind! You must find the two
remaining explosives within a certain amount of time before they detonate.
The bystanders reveal that they saw something near a green house and on a
roof. While they may not be too helpful, that is all of the clues you have to
go by. Search out for the Plastique by a green building and the Bomb on a
roof. If you are having difficulty reaching the rooftops, use the light posts
as stepping stones. The posts are small, so your jumps have to be exact.

  Return to the Inspector to receive your congratulations. Roll can transform
the Plastique into the Power Blaster L part and the Bomb into the Power
Blaster R part.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
REWARD: Arm Supporter

  Chat with the Inspector after finishing the previous side quest to learn
about a man who lost a bag full of money. Talk to this man out in the lobby,
and he mentions he last had it in the electronics shop. This sends MegaMan on
a long chase around the city, which involves talking to the people at the
following locations...

1. Staple Electronics (Apple Market)
2. Jetlag Bakery (Apple Market)
3. Library (Downtown)
4. Soda Machine (Downtown, talk to a girl in green clothes)
5. Sub-City Entrance (Downtown, talk to the young guy three times)

  After talking to the kid, grab the Bag out of the nearby trashcan. Return
to the man back at the Police Station to receive the Arm Supporter.

 <-   bank robbery                                                         ->
<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
REWARD: 20000Z

  Turn on the television inside the Flutter to view a news report on a bank
robbery in the city. Head to Downtown. Several onlookers are watching a
chase between a red vehicle and a police car. Shoot the red car filled with
the Servbots until it begins to smoke, and it explodes. Grab the trunk full
of money, and then hand it over to the Inspector to receive 20000Z (or could
just steal the entire trunk yourself, but we are all moral people, right?).

  Also, completing this task opens up the Stripe Burger restaurant in the
Downtown area.

<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<--<->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->-->
REWARD: Prism Crystal

  In Uptown, speak to the woman painting a picture of the Hospital, and tell
her she needs to add more red. Of course, she ran out of red, so visit the
Hip Bone store in Apple Market, and borrow red lipstick from the cashier.
Hand it over to the painter, and she runs off to set up her own display in
the Uptown museum.

  Walk up the stairs in the museum to find the woman. She says she will take
any interesting items MegaMan may come across while in the underground ruins.
She accepts the following items (if you want to know where to find them, hit
Ctrl + F, and type in the name you are looking for to search this document):

1. Old Bone
2. Old Heater
3. Old Doll
4. Antique Bell
5. Shiny Red Stone
6. Giant Horn
7. Shiny Object
8. Old Shield

  When you have returned all of the above, visit the exhibition hall, and talk
to the young girl in the green outfit. She hands MegaMan the Prism Crystal.
It is a lot of work to get one single item, but you can use that towards
developing the Shining Laser weapon.

REWARD: Many, many items!

  If you spent time exploring the world of Mega Man Legends, you should know
by now about the massive area of ruins under the city. While it may seem a
bit daunting to explore such a place, the items hidden there make it well
worth your time.

  Rather than providing a tedious walkthrough of the place, here are several
maps marked with the items and where doors lead to. Remember to equip the
Drill Arm before you go in!

This section explains MML's mini-games.

  This quirky game requires MegaMan to shoot all of the red balloons in the
room within the time limit. However, hitting a blue balloon adds an extra
second, putting MegaMan slightly closer to the limit. Note that the larger
balloons may split off into a couple smaller ones.

  Because your attack power has very little to do with this mini-game, equip
Buster Parts that increase MegaMan's energy and rapid stats. Being able to
fire more shots with more speed gives you a great advantage to winning here.

  The objective of Beast Hunter is to kick the ball and hit the dog that is
chasing the man back and forth. Though the game mentions about kicking left
and right, just kick straight ahead, and avoid the fancy footwork. You gain a
point by hitting the dog, and naturally, you want to try to score as high as
you possibly can. Each "rank" has a specific score you must meet before you
can move on to the next rank. Keep in mind your time limit is 30 seconds in
every match!

  Every once a while, a flashing dog runs across the screen. Hitting this
mutt nets you two points instead of one. Also, MegaMan may also be given a
toy dog instead of a ball to kick with. If you hit a normal dog with it, you
get two points, and if you hit the flashing dog, you score three points.

  The concept here is simple. Turn on your Jet Skates, and pass between all
of the red cones within the time limit. Knock over any yellow cones you might
come across to freeze the clock temporarily. You have the choice of three
courses, Straight, Left Curve, or Technical, each with its own unique layout.
Keep practicing, and remember that up and down on the control pad changes the
speed of the skates.

  Complete the game normally, and return to the title screen after the ending.
You will be allowed to choose between "Normal" and "Hard" before you begin a
new save file. On hard, enemies inflict more damage to MegaMan, and they have
more health. Also, the Flutter and the boat have less energy than normal.

"Normal" and "Easy" before you begin a new save file. On easy, enemies cause
less harm to MegaMan and have less health, and the money they leave behind is
worth four times as much as normal. MegaMan also starts out with the Buster
Max part and the Jet Skates.

  Outside the Main Gate, talk with one of the cats. MegaMan has the option of
adopting the pretty kitty and taking it home with him. You can find the cat
roaming around the inside of the Flutter.

  While you visit Apple Market, kick the tin can around. If you can manage to
hit it behind the Jetlag Bakery counter, the woman gives MegaMan 1000Z!
