Hi, everybody! It's me, MagmaYoshi.

I've written some FAQs before, but GameFAQs didn't seem to like them. So
hopefully this one'll be good enough.

While recently playing through the classic PlayStation One title, Mega Man
Legends, I was using some of the FAQs on this website. However, I noticed there
was a vital set of information missing from pretty much all the FAQs on this
site.

There's no shop list! None of the guides ever tell you what exactly is
available when, or for how much! This is a supplementary guide for people who
need that information.

Disclaimer: This guide works for all versions of this game, whether you're
playing the original PlayStation version, or the Nintendo 64 or PSP versions.

There are two shops in Mega Man Legends, but they both sell exactly the same
things at exactly the same times. It seems that they're even run by the same
people.

This section basically just tells you where the two shops are and when they
become available.

OOOOOOOOO<<<OO<<<<<<<OO<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<OOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOO<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<OOOOOOOOO

You probably came to this section wondering what's the fastest way to make
zenny. The simple answer: there is none. Grinding zenny in this game is a
painful process.

You can amass the amount of zenny you need for most things fairly quickly,
but when it comes to things like maxing out your special weapons or buying
every single Extra Pack, you have your work cut out for you.

First and foremost, you're going to need the Vacuum Arm Special Weapon. To
get that, you'll need three parts:

1. Broken Cleaner: Found in a cardboard box in Apple Market
2. Broken Motor: Found in a trash can Downtown
3. Broken Propeller: Found in a trash can at Uptown

Just take those three parts to Roll in the Support Car and she'll make the
Vacuum Arm. Then max it out! It only takes 10,500 zenny to do so: cheap!

Now, here are the easiest ways to make zenny, rated from best to worst:

1. Downtown Sub-City
The Sub-Cities all become available late game, after you complete all three
sub-gates and then unlock the sub-cities from within the Main Gate. One of
these sub-cities appears Downtown. You can get about 20,000 zenny each time
you come down here. All the Reaverbots reappear every time you leave and
re-enter. This is the best way to make zenny fast in the game, but it doesn't
become available until late in the game.

2. Cardon Forest Sub-Gate
One of the first rooms in this ruin contains several Jakko's Nests (re: wasp
hives). They give up lots of zenny when destroyed. If you also destroy all the
other Reaverbots as well, you'll get about 10,000 zenny each time you come
here. When you've collected your pay, go back to the entrance of the Sub-Gate,
then jump on the ledge and go through the door there to the Kattelox Ruins.
Then turn around and go back through the door. The Reaverbots will now reappear
when you go back to that room.

3. Lake Jyun Sub-Gate
In the Lake Jyun Sub-Gate, there's a long hallway with cascading water on both
sides. Defeat the Reaverbots here for a substantial amount of zenny. It's
pretty dangerous, though, so use caution...

4. Kattelox TV
You can get 4,000 zenny each time you A-rank any of the Kattelox TV Station
mini-games in Uptown. If this is more fun for you, that's always an option.

6. Apple Market Kick-the-Can
Early in the game, you may need to get some quick zenny. To do this, go to the
Apple Market and look for a small yellow can. Kick it into the Jetlag Bakery
for 1,000 zenny. People say this lowers MegaMan's reputation, but I've never
noticed any difference.

BONUS. Kattelox Ruins
This is for early-game money-making only. Just enter the ruins where you
saved the Junk Shop owner and clear them out repeatedly until you have the
zenny you need.

This section is for any FAQs, or Frequently Asked Questions, that I receive or
anticipate receiving.

Q: How do I make zenny fast?
A: There's a section in this guide just for that! Try looking harder.

Q: Those are all too slow. How can I make zenny faster?
A: Sorry, this game doesn't have any quick cash-ins. There are a couple of
points where you get large sums, though.

Q: Large sums?
A: Check the other FAQs on this game. You can get a lot from the bank robbery
quest and from talking to Data on the Flutter after meeting MegaMan Juno.

Q: Does kicking the can into the Jetlag Bakery cause MegaMan's reputation to
go down?
A: No.

Q: If MegaMan's reputation is high/low, does that cause the Junk Shop's prices
to raise/lower?
A: Unlike in MegaMan Legends 2, MegaMan's reputation has no practical effects
on the game. Junk Shop prices will always be the same.
