"Buy it. Now. Or I will sic an invisible drumming monkey on you."
Admit it. Whether he's in a bad game or not, you love the Blue Bomber. What ISN'T cool about Megaman spinning out of control, and firing his laser arm ''BEEDOO! BEEDOO!', and watching you enemy getting nuked. Pure enjoyment. This game doesn't fail to impress, and is just as good as the last game.
Okay, the control stinks. Bad camera angle, and shoddy controls that make you wanna twist the controller in half. Much like Spyro 3, you ending up rolling around, shooting at the enemy, only to find out he's behind you and your already dead. Some of the enemies are so cheap and are nearly impossible to beat with the bad controls, since you cant really do anything if you get caught from behind.
Like all games with Megaman's style, they have to be innovative. In Megaman Legends 1, you had kicking the soda can, being evil to dogs, looting the trash can, and getting free money. And that invisible drumming monkey is just plan cool. He goes like ''Tappa tappa *lean on other side* BOM!'', and repeat forever. Rules. The game gives you a rush as your facing a boss, he shoots at you, you spin away with a roll, come up with a shot, and the wacky camera angle make it look like high spot wrestling. Add in many many upgrades for weapons, humorous references to bands and such, and you have a great game.
Same as the last one. A bad guy wants to take over the world with some magic keys. Intrigue is added as the question of where Roll's parents are is exciting. You have to do some cwazy stuff to save the world, and it rules. Full marks.
Pretty colorz. PRETTY COLORZ. Big cartoonish graphics. Kawaii anime faces. Hilarious drumming monkeys. Nuff said.
Replay Value: 2/10
What replay value?
The voice acting is just great. All the characters sound like you would expect them to sound, from Data's cutesy voice, Roll's concerned voice, and Megaman's brave voice. The music is good too.
Megaman Legends 2 is just simply a great game. It has great gameplay, good graphics, great sound, is linear, but challenging enough to keep you playing for hours. The Megaman series is one of the best series in gaming in my opinion, and it can only get better.
