"Practice makes perfect"

Gameplay: 9/10
Exactly like the original Metal Gear Solid. You still use stealth moves to take out enemies. So it also means that you should be familiar to Metal Gear to understand this. The game is all made up of simulations to improve your skills to Metal Gear, and it does a good job doing it. There are missions where you fight twelve enemies, sneaking missions where you can't get caught, and special missions for when you get a good enough percent to open this option. There are over 300 training missions, so it will take you a while, unless you’re a Metal Gear master. It gets really hard too, especially during sneaking missions. Every time you get caught you get game over and have to start all over, and it gets frustrating and feel like beating something down.

Story: 6/10
No story, just missions, comprised of over 300 to keep you occupied. Can't really say anything else about the story, although it mentions the Metal Gear story within the game.
You build your way up and it shows a percentile of how much you have done in the game. Once you get 100.0%, you can pat yourself on the back, you just beat the game it's that easy.

Audio/Visual: 8/10
For the audio, it's pretty good. The gun firing is modeled correctly like the sniper rifle has an echoing sound when fired. The Visuals aren't the best but they are easily looked over, no real problem. A let down is the view you see, an upper view. You can't really see an enemy patrolling until your spotted. Same view as MGS though, but it was easily overlooked.

Replayability: 5/10
May seem fun at first but it's really boring and frustrating going though all the missions again, so why really bother playing it again. The specials can add fun to the game, like there are Ninja levels and Mystery levels, which you have to have trained eyes to figure out. A final hidden area is opened when you first play the game, the photo shoot, where you can take pictures.

Final Analysis
I would say rent it, once you get the hang of it and have good patience, you will master the game. If you’re a die-hard MGS fan then buy it, the specials are pretty fun, but again they don't last too long. If you need help with MGS then this could improve how you play it, like this is a tutorial version of MGS.

Final Score: 7/10
Ranking: Mediocre-give it a shot
