    I am writing this because no one else has done a FAQ/Game List for Point Blank
    2 yet and
     I think it would be helpful to some people who have just bought the game or
    can't understand the
    directions for the games provided.  You can always find the latest vesion of

    II.  Introduction
    ----------------
    
    For those of you who don't know,  Point Blank 2 is a Extremely Addictive Light
    Gun
    Shooter from Namco.  There are over 80 stages,  Where you must complete a set
    objective,  such as shooting out a fast moving target with one bullet or
    shooting as many cardboard cutout bad guys as you can within a set amount of
    time.  The stages are divided up in between many categories,  such as Rapid
    Fire and Single Shot.   Every stage has a two player variation,  so you can
    easily challenge your friend to a stage and compete to see who gets a better
    score.  There are also a number of different VS.  type modes including Turf War
    and Tournament (for up to 8 players).  There are also many single player modes
    to choose from.  You can play in endurance mode,  and try and get as far as you
    can up a tower without losing all your lives,  theme park mode,  where you must
    complete various minigames in order to get clues about a kidnapped princess, 
    and the original arcade mode,  which plays exactly like the arcade version of
    the game.

    ----------
    
    In the next revision,  the instructions/descriptions of the Brain Teasers and
    Animal
    Targets mini-games will be added.  Also,  I'll add a theme park mode section.
    
    Not a big update in this revision,  just a few minor fixes.  I'll try and get
    the next
    revision out by the end of September.

    III.  Modes of Play
    -------------------
    
    From the title screen of Point Blank 2,  you will have 5 options.  They are as
    follows:
    
    Point Blank Castle
    Party Mode
    Training
    Theme Park Mode
    Options
    
    From the Point Blank Castle Screen,  there are 3 modes of play available,  for
    1 or 2 players.
    They are:
    
    Vs. :  In this mode,  you can challenge a friend to play.
    
    Endurance:  In this mode,  you start at the bottom floor of a tower.  Each
    floor has a new
    stage.  You have 3 lives.  You must get as high as you can up the tower without
    losing all
    your lives.  This mode also has a Save/Load feature.
    
    Arcade:  This is the original arcade mode.  You can play in Practice, 
    Beginner,  Advanced,
    or Insane mode.  Practice mode has 4 stages,  all the rest have 16.  Practice
    mode does not have
    the Final Stage or the Bonus Stage.
    
    From the Party Mode screen,  you can choose to play another 3 games that were
    designed for than
    one person to play.  They are:
    
    Team Battle
    
    Tournament
    
    Turf War
    
    From the Training Mode Screen,  you can play any mini-game in Point Blank 2. 
    The categories and
    games are shown in section III,  the games list.
    
    Theme park mode is sort of like a short story mode for Point Blank 2.  You see
    a short sequence at the beginning,  and must find Princess Barrel.  After the
    story sequence,  you see a screen where you can choose one of the 4 theme park
    games:  Abyss Tours,  Haunted House,  Super Bullet Train,  and Cosmic Drive. 
    They each have different rules.  When you win a game,  you will get a ranking, 
    and depending on the ranking get one or more powerups.  Once you win or lose
    all 4 games,  A fifth attraction will come from the center of the map,  Cosmo
    Gang.  You will see a short sequence with Dr.  Don and Dr. Dan,  and then you
    will begin to play Cosmo Gang.  This is another mini-game,  however it is not
    available to play in training mode.  You can save/load games in Theme Park Mode
     Good Luck!
    
    From the Options screen,  you can save and load options,  configure the
    controllers,  caliberate the guncon,  and adjust game settings.

    [Shoot the Airplane]
    
    Description:  You must shoot A Large Airplane a certain number of
    times to make it blow up before the timer reaches zero.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot the Airplane 40 times in 20 seconds to destory it.
    B=Shoot the Airplane 60 times in 20 seconds to destroy it.
    A=Shoot the Airplane 60 times in 15 seconds to destroy it.
    I=Shoot the Airplane 60 times in 12 seconds to destroy it.

    [Shoot the House]
    
    Description:  Shoot a house that takes up the whole screen a certain number
    of times to blow it um before the timer reaches zero.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot the house 30 times in 15 seconds to destroy it.
    B=Shoot the house 45 times in 15 seconds to destroy it.
    A=Shoot the house 65 times in 15 seconds to destroy it.
    I=Shoot the house 80 times in 15 seconds to destroy it.

    [Shoot Down the Helicopters]
    
    Description:  Helicopters fly across the screen rapidly.  Shoot
    as many as you can within the set amount of time to clear the stage.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 20 helicopters in 15 seconds.
    B=Shoot 25 helicopters in 15 seconds.
    A=Shoot 32 helicopters in 15 seconds.
    I=Shoot 35 helicopters in 15 seconds.

    [Shoot All The Gangsters]
    
    Description:  You are in a alley packed with still gangsters
    plus one moving hostage and one moving gangster in the back.
    Shoot all the gangsters without shooting the hostage in a set
    amount of time.
    
    DON'T SHOOT:  The Hostage (-1 Life Penalty)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot all 48 gangsters in 15 seconds.
    B=Shoot all 53 gangsters in 13 seconds.
    A=Shoot all 58 gangsters in 10 seconds.
    I=Shoot all 65 gangsters in 10 seconds.

    [The Flying Car]
    
    Description:  A car is spinning through the air quickly at you.
    Shoot it a certain number of times to blow it up before it hits you.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot the car 20 times in 8 seconds.
    B=Shoot the car 28 times in 8 seconds.
    A=Shoot the car 35 times in 8 seconds.
    I=Shoot the car 40 times in 8 seconds.

    [Shoot the Neon Signs]
    
    Description:  There are a VERY large number of neon signs.
    Shoot as many as you can within the time limit.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 20 signs in 18 seconds.
    B=Shoot 30 signs in 18 seconds.
    A=Shoot 42 signs in 17 seconds.
    I=Shoot 49 signs in 16 seconds.

    [Explosive Barrels]
    
    Description:  There is a certain number of explosive barrels.
    Shoot them all within the time limit.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 15 barrels in 15 seconds.
    B=Shoot 25 barrels in 15 seconds.
    A=Shoot 40 barrels in 13 seconds.
    I=Shoot 50 barrels in 13 seconds.

    [Shoot all Targets]
    
    Description:  There is a brick wall with a lot of targets
    on it.  Shoot them all within the time limit.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 40 targets in 10 seconds.
    B=Shoot 45 targets in 10 seconds.
    A=Shoot 54 targets in 10 seconds.
    I=Shoot 77 targets in 19 seconds.

    [Lots of Numbers]
    
    Description:  Lots of little Dr. Don's and Dr. Dan's
    are pushing carts with towers of numbers inside.  Shoot
    as many number targets as you can IN NUMERICAL ORDER within
    the time limit.  If you shoot a Dr. Don or Dr. Dan by mistake,
    they will push the carts faster.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 15 numbers in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot 20 numbers in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot 35 numbers in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot 45 numbers in 20 seconds.

    Red/Blue Targets
    -==============-
    
    [Spinning Boxes]
    
    Description:  There are 5 Spinning Boxes with Red and Blue targets on
    them.  Shoot as many red targets as you can (p1) and shoot as many
    blue targets as you can (p2) within the time limit.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot at least 7 red/blue targets in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot at least 10 red/blue targets in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot at least 12 red/blue targets in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot at least 15 red/blue targets in 20 seconds.

    [Pinball]
    
    Description:  Red and Blue Targets come flying from the top of the screen
    and roll down ramps.  The ramps occasionally bump the targets back up
    to higher areas.  P1 Should shoot as many red targets as possible and P2
    shoot as many blue targets as he/she can.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 10 red/blue targets in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot 18 red/blue targets in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot 28 red/blue targets in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot 30 red/blue targets in 20 seconds.

    [Bouncing Targets]
    
    Description: Red and Blue Balls are bouncing around the screen and off
    walls.  Shoot all the red balls you see (p1) and for p2 shoot all the
    blue balls you see,  within the time limit.  You have limited bullets.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot all 3 balls in 15 seconds using no more than 10 bullets.
    B=Shoot all 5 balls in 15 seconds using no more than 10 bullets.
    A=Shoot all 7 balls in 15 seconds using no more than 10 bullets.
    I=Shoot all 8 balls in 15 seconds using no more than 10 bullets.

    [Roller Coaster]
    
    Description:  Red and Blue targets zoom by on a track.  They overlap
    each other,  so it's easy to make a mistake by shooting the wrong color
    target.  Shoot as many red targets as you can (p1) and as many blue
    targets as you can (p2) within the set amount of time.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot at least 8 targets in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot at least 15 targets in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot at least 26 targets in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot at least 28 targets in 20 seconds.

    [Targets All Over]
    
    Description:  Targets pop-up all over in a circle.  In P
    and B mode(s),  there will be 6 targets at once coming from
    the edges,  in A and I mode(s) there will be 8 at once.  Shoot
    as many targets as you can within the time limit.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot at least 13 targets in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot at least 20 targets in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot at least 30 targets in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot at least 34 targets in 20 seconds.

    [3 Panels]
    
    Description: 3 Metal Panels are on screen with metal shutters blocking
    them.  When the stage starts,  one shutter will raise and reveal some
    targets and/or a bomb.  As you shoot targets,  other panels will open,
    sometimes two at once.  Shoot as many targets as possible within the time
    limit.
    
    DON'T SHOOT:  Bombs (-1 Life Penalty)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot at least 20 targets in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot at least 24 targets in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot at least 28 targets in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot at least 35 targets in 20 seconds.

    [Holes]
    
    Description: Red Targets,  Blue Targets,  Bombs,  and (Tied Up Dr. Don's?)
    pop out of holes in the ground in this stage.  You know the drill:  shoot as
    many targets as possible within the time limit.
    
    
    DON'T SHOOT: Bombs (-1 Life Penalty)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot at least 8 targets in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot at least 16 targets in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot at least 25 targets in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot at least 29 targets in 20 seconds.

    [Keep the Can in the Air]
    
    Description:  A can is floating in space.  Shoot it UNTIL
    the time runs out.  Shoot it and it will go flying up again.
    You lose if it goes off the bottom of the screen.  Just keep
    shooting it.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Keep the can in the air for 20 seconds.
    B=Keep the can in the air for 20 seconds.
    A=Keep the can in the air for 20 seconds.
    I=Keep the can in the air for 20 seconds.

    [Shoot the Knight's Armor]
    
    Description:  Dr.  Don (and for two players,  Dr. Dan)
    are standing,  fully dressed in Knights armor.  Shoot off
    each piece of thier armor before time runs out.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot off all 18 pieces of armor in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot off all 18 pieces of armor in 15 seconds.
    A=Shoot off all 18 pieces of armor in 8 seconds.
    I=Shoot off all 18 pieces of armor in 5 seconds.

    [Defeat the Evil Lord!]
    
    Description:  Ok,  this stage is a little complicated.  There
    are four rooms.  The objective is to get to the fourth room
    and shoot the "Evil Lord" in the back.  In the first 3 rooms,
    there are ninjas swarming around.  You must shoot most of the ninjas
    in the room you are in to progress to the next room.
    
    DON'T SHOOT:  Chinese People In Pink (-1 Life Penalty)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Defeat the Evil Lord in 25 seconds.
    B=Defeat the Evil Lord in 25 seconds.
    A=Defeat the Evil Lord in 25 seconds.
    I=Defeat the Evil Lord in 25 seconds.

    [Defend Earth!]
    
    Description:  UFO's are coming to attack earth.  Shoot
    at them until time runs out.  Don't let them reach the
    bottom of the screen (earth).  If you shoot a big UFO,
    it will turn into a certain number of smaller UFO's
    (# depends on the mode,  the harder the more small UFO's).
    
    Instructions:
    P=Defend Earth for 25 seconds.
    B=Defend Earth for 25 seconds.
    A=Defend Earth for 25 seconds.
    I=Defend Earth for 25 seconds.

    [Collect the Bombs!]
    
    Description:  Bombs fall from the top of the screen from parachutes.
    Don runs around carrying a basket.  Shoot THE PARACHUTE (not the bomb)
    While Don's basket is under it,  and the bomb will drop into his basket.
    Collect as many bombs as possible within the time limit.
    
    DON'T SHOOT:  Bomb(s) (-1 Life Penalty)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Collect 5 Bombs in 25 seconds.
    B=Collect 8 Bombs in 25 seconds.
    A=Collect 13 Bombs in 25 seconds.
    I=Collect 15 Bombs in 25 seconds.

    [Shoot the Skeletons!]
    
    Description:  Skeleton's pop up from bone piles in a dungeon
    and down from the ceiling.  Shoot as many as you can within
    the time limit.  Since the bombs have skulls on them that
    look like the skeleton's,  be extra careful not to shoot the
    bombs that pop up.
    
    DON'T SHOOT: Bomb(s) (-1 Life Penalty)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 20 skeletons in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot 27 skeletons in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot 36 skeletons in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot 40 skeletons in 20 seconds.

    [Salloon Shootout]
    
    Description:  Bad Guys are all over a western town.  Shoot
    as many as you can before the time expires.
    
    DON'T SHOOT:  Hostages/People with thier hands up (-1 Life Penalty)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 13 bad guys in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot 23 bad guys in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot 35 bad guys in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot 40 bad guys in 20 seconds.

    [Ninjas on the Streets]
    
    Description:  Ninjas are all over Hong Kong (or wherever it is).
    Shoot as many as you can before the timer gets to zero.
    
    DON'T SHOOT:  Chinese People (that aren't ninjas) (-1 life penalty)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot 15 ninjas in 20 seconds.
    B=Shoot 28 ninjas in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot 38 ninjas in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot 45 ninjas in 20 seconds.

    [Shoot the Cork off the Bottle]
    
    Description:  You are presented with a bottle that has a cork on
    top.  Shoot off the cork in one shot.
    
    DON'T SHOOT:  Below the Cork (You'll Blow up the Bottle)
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot the cork off the bottle in 5 seconds with one shot.
    B=Shoot the cork off the bottle in 5 seconds with one shot.
    A=Shoot the cork off the bottle in 5 seconds with one shot.
    I=Shoot the cork off the bottle in 5 seconds with one shot.

    [Shoot the Coin In Mid-Air]
    
    Description:  Dr. Don will flip a coin up into the air.  Shoot
    it before it hits the ground in one shot.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot the coin out of mid-air with one shot in 5 seconds.
    B=Shoot the coin out of mid-air with one shot in 5 seconds.
    A=Shoot the coin out of mid-air with one shot in 5 seconds.
    I=Shoot the coin out of mid-air with one shot in 5 seconds.

    [Stop the Stopwatch!]
    
    Description: A stopwatch is counting down.  Shoot it after it reaches a certain
    time,
    but before the timer reaches zero.  No aim involved here,  just perfect timing.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot the stopwatch after it reaches 1.0 seconds.
    B=Shoot the stopwatch after it reaches 0.5 seconds.
    A=Shoot the stopwatch after it reaches 0.3 seconds.
    I=Shoot the stopwatch after it reaches 0.1 seconds.

    [Shoot the Moving Target]
    
    Description:  A target moves along a track.  Shoot
    it in one shot before the timer reaches zero.
    
    Instructions:
    P=Shoot the target with one shot in 8 seconds.

    A=Shoot the target with one shot in 8 seconds.
    I=Shoot the target with one shot in 8 seconds.

    [Spinning Ferris Wheel]
    
    Description:  A Ferris wheel is turning.  On one posistion is a target.
    On all the others is a bomb.  Shoot the target with one shot.

    Instructions:
    P=Shoot the target with one shot in 5 seconds.
    B=Shoot the target with one shot in 5 seconds.
    A=Shoot the target with one shot in 5 seconds.

    Description:  There are 3 spinning triangles with 4 faces each.

    B=Shoot 20 targets in 20 seconds.
    A=Shoot 30 targets in 20 seconds.
    I=Shoot 35 targets in 20 seconds.

    [The |?| Game]
    
    Description:  Simple.  20 Squares have ? Marks on them.  They turn over,
    one at a time,  revealing targets.  Shoot all the targets within the time
    limit.
    
    Instructions:

    P=Shoot the steamroller 40 times in 20 seconds to destroy it.
    B=Shoot the steamroller 60 times in 20 seconds to destroy it.

    Description:  Many UFOs are around the play area.  They
    are all trying to pick up Dr. Don with metallic claws.

    Instructions:
    P=Defend Dr. Don from the UFOs for 20 seconds.

    before time runs out.  Shoot the vultures!

    VI. Codes/Tricks
    ----------------
    
    As of yet,  I do not have any CODES for the game,  if you have one,  please
    submit it to rbassma1@nycap.rr.com and I'll put your name in the credits
    section.
    
    Some tricks to give you a advantage (Don't use these when playing a friend
    unless you both do them):
    
    For the single shot mini-games:  Try moving a little closer to the screen if
    your having a hard time.  Try not to get too close though,  it takes away all
    the challenge (and fun).
    
    For the rapid fire mini-games:  What can I say,  there aren't any sure fire
    ways of winning these games,  you just have to be fast.   Just shoot as quickly
    as possible.  If all else fails,  try using a controller,  and one of the man
    rapid button pressing tecniques out there.
    
    For the gangster hunt mini-games:  Aim carefully not to shoot the hostages.  At
    the end of most of the gangster hunt mini games (within the last few seconds)
    gangsters will start appearing very rapidly.  Here's your chance if your below
    quota,  because no hostages come up then.  You can get closer to the screen if
    you need to.
    
    For the defense mini-games:  Here you really just need to assess your
    priorities.  What I mean by that is you must shoot the objects closest to the
    thing you need to defend.  If a object doesn't look like it will hit the object
    you need to defend,  don't bother with it if another object is about to hit the
    thing you need to defend.
    
    For the brain teaser mini-games:  These can be fairly difficult,  because you
    have to think and shoot at the same time.  Try and think quickly,  and aim even
    quicker.  Try not to think too hard on these.
