01. Introduction
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the first FAQ I ever wrote, so please forgive me for not being good 
enough in writing this FAQ. Biohazard 3/Resident Evil 3 is the horror adventure 
type of game which I strongly recommend to you guys and gals who like horror. 
BH3/RE3 is obviously the hardest among the BH/RE series as the Nemesis (the one 
chasing you) in this episode is difficult to deal with. Don't ever 
underestimate this game! Nemesis will come running at you, chasing you all the 
time! He won't rest until you die in his hand. You will notice once everytime 
he appears he'll says "STARS!!". He was programmed to kill S.T.A.R.S. member 
and he's going after Jill as Jill is one of the S.T.A.R.S. members.

It is quite difficult for me to include everything in the game such as the 
location of a particular item. Due to which the items or enemies will varies 
according to your progress in the game, I will not include the information 
mentioned above, sorry!! But don't worry as the items or enemies can be 
obviously noticed.

Writing this walkthrough is not that short as the game itself, especially comes 
in explaining on an event such as puzzle solving in the game. Most of the 
puzzles in the game is random but I'll try my best to help you out.

I recommend you guys and gals go and get all the BH/RE series, as to exactly 
know what is happening. The objective in BH3/RE3 is solely escaping from the 
Raccoon City.

Note:
-BH3 stands for Biohazard 3, RE3 stands for Resident Evil 3(US version).
-Quick turn is a 180 degrees turn, which is very useful in avoiding enemies 
 before you attacked by them.
-If a place that has enemies and object such as oil drums, pressing R2 button 
 will directly aim your gun at the oil drums but not the enemies. Pressing R1 
 button will aim your gun at the enemies.
-When you'd already attacked by the enemies such as falls onto the ground or 
 you're being hold by the zombies and going to bit you, quickly press square, 
 X, R1, R2, or L1 button to push the enemies away.
-Menu lets you setup the game such as control, etc.
-Map lets you browse through the maps of a location that you'd visited. For 
 RE3, you need to browse through the inventory.
-Inventory lets you browse your item(s), health condition, etc.
-Refer to the Game Instructions A for more detail information.

05. Walkthrough

* INSTRUCTIONS:                                                               *
*                                                                             *
* In order to fully navigate through the game, I'd included almost every      *
* scenes that might happens in the game, which made the walkthrough to be     *
* non-linear. Because of this the walkthrough jump from paragraph to another  *
* paragraph. BTW, this walkthrough covers almost everything except the        *
* position of non-important items and the enemies. In other words, this       *
* walkthrough only emphasizes on the important item such as key.              *
* Non-important item such as Green Herbs and enemies is not discussed here.   *
* This walkthrough is only based on the heavy mode. Here's explanation on how *
* to navigate through the walkthrough:                                        *
*                                                                             *
* [Save room]: The room allow you to save your game and store your item(s) in *
*              the inventory into the storage box.                            *
*                                                                             *
* [XXX MAP]: The map's number. You can refer to "Map" in the miscellaneous    *
*            section for the description of each map.                         *
*                                                                             *
* [LIVE SELECTION]: Scene that requiring you to choose an option between two. *
*                                                                             *
* [CONTINUE]: A part of the game to be continued from a paragraph. For        *
*             example, you'll sees "Proceed to [CONTINUE]". It means jump     *
*             from the paragraph to the beginning of [CONTINUE].              *

I. September 28th. Daylight...

After the explosion, go forward, climb the crate and go down from there, and
you'll be going through a short scene, and arrived at a warehouse, you will end
up having conversation with a fat guy named Dario Rosso, and after the scene,
go up to the save room and get Warehouse Key on the wall near the door. Use the
Warehouse Key to open the door that are locked below the warehouse. Exit the
warehouse. Go through the corridor and enter the door.

Once you exit, you'll see a door near your left side and enter the door. Go
through the corridor until you see a door (the door will be forced opened by 
someone who's escaping from there), enter the door to get Lighter Oil and a 
Shotgun holding by the dead man lying down. Go through the corridor (the one 
with Green Herbs on the ground) and enter the door. You'll exit to a place full 
of zombies, walk all the way until you see stairs, climb the crate and go up 
the stairs to pick some Green Herbs. Don't forget to get the 1ST MAP just after 
you climbed the crate. Go down from there.

Go right from there and straight to a door. Walk straight until you see a short 
stairs and go down, go forward through the corridor that leads you to another 
door, enter the door. Once you enter the bar shop, prepare for another scene 
which you will see Brad Vickers. Don't bother to waste any of your bullets 
shooting the zombie attacking Brad, he will take care of it himself. Get the 
Lighter near a door. Combine Lighter with the Lighter Oil to make the Lighter 
usable.

Exit from the door where you enter the bar shop. From there go through the 
corridor again and go up the short stairs and go right and forward. You'll see 
two paths here. You can choose any of the path from here, each path has its 
short scene depending on which you choose to do first. If you take the right
path, try going back to the warehouse. You will heard a young girl calling out
for help, and eventually you'll see her died on the floor if you keep follow
her(or her voice).

Take the left path and enter the door. You will arrived at a garbage collection 
area that is full of zombies. You will need to use the Lighter to burn the 
ropes sealing the door to get through the door. Once you exit the door, go 
straight |and enter a door (not the save room). 

Note:
-Search for the fire hydrant(red light spot) on the wall near the entrance of 
the save room, take note of this where we'll get back to here.

Once exit the door, go straight to your left path and enter a gate to the main 
entrance of R.P.D. building.

[LIVE SELECTION 1]-------------------------------------------------------------

| 1st option: Fight with the monster.   (refer to [L1-1])                     |

| [L1-1]: You'll get to control Jill for this option. Check Brad's body       |
|         before you get into the R.P.D. building in order to get his Card    |
|         Case, and check it from the inventory. You will get his personal    |
|         S.T.A.R.S. Card (which will save up your time finding Jill's        |
|         S.T.A.R.S. Card in the R.P.D. building). Go into the building upon  |
|         getting Brad's stuff. With Brad's S.T.A.R.S. Card you will be able  |
|         to use it on the computer in the main hall to get a password. This  |
|         password will be used later in the evidence room. Proceed to        |
|         [CONTINUE] below...                                                 |
|                                                                             |
| [L1-2]: With this option, Jill will automatically avoid Nemesis and get     |
|         into the R.P.D. building. You won't be able to get the stuff of     |
|         Brad by choosing this option, even if you going back because Brad's |
|         body will no longer there. Proceed to [CONTINUE] below...           |

| -If you didn't choose any of the option, you'll get to control Jill, do     |
|  whatever you like at this moment, kill or escape |from Nemesis.            |

[CONTINUE]: 
In the main hall of R.P.D. building (get the feeling of Biohazard 2?), use the
S.T.A.R.S. Card on the computer to get a password to be used later in the 
evidence room. Take note of the password, the password is random.

Note:
-If you'd chosen the 1st option, use Brad's S.T.A.R.S. Card on the computer to 
 get a password. 
-If you don't have any S.T.A.R.S. Card, you have to find it in the R.P.D. 
 building, which will be covered as you follow.

Don't forget to get the 2ND MAP from the desk near the computer. Obviously 
there's only one door accessible as the other doors is sealed. Enter the door, 
there's a few zombies here, go forward and enter another door into evidence 
room. Check out the two drawers with red light spot in this room, the 1st 
drawer is stored with a Blue Gem, and the 2nd one is stored with the Emblem Key 
which requiring you to provide password to open it. Get the Blue Gem and use 
the password on the 2nd drawer. Get the Emblem Key from the 2nd drawer and exit 
the room.

There's a save room here and another door that leads you to Jill's S.T.A.R.S. 
Card. 

Note:
-Don't bother to get Jill's S.T.A.R.S. Card if you have Brad's S.T.A.R.S. Card. 
 In other words, if you don't have Brad's S.T.A.R.S. Card, you have to get it 
 from the meeting room, and use it to obtain the password from the computer in 
 the main hall to be used to open the drawer in the evidence room to get the 
 Emblem Key. 

Go up the stairs once you have the Emblem Key and go through all your way and 
enter another door. Enter the room in the middle of this area by opening the 
door using the Emblem Key. In this room, get Lockpick on the desk and a weapon 
from the locker. Get out from the R.P.D. building once you got the Lockpick 
(you will see short scene before leaving the S.T.A.R.S. office).

From the R.P.D. building, go straight through the way to the door that are 
locked previously and use the Lockpick on the door and enter the door. You've 
now entered the shopping street. Go through all the way and enter another door. 
In this area, take note that the Fire Hose is at your right side, but it can't 
be taken at this moment. Enter the door to your left side and you arrive at a 
big place, go through all your way to enter a door. You're now in parking area, 
get the Power Cable that are connecting to a car. Go forward and enter the door 
that leads to the save room.

Exit the save room, go along the way and enter another door. Upon exit the 
door, get the 3RD MAP from the wall, go forward and a short scene will follow. 
Take the left path as the right path require you to provide Battery (which you 
don't have right now) to activate the elevator. 

There's two path in the place where you just entered (the right path will 
directly lead you to the restaurant). At this moment you can choose to do 
between the following options (depending on which option you choose to do 
first, there's a slight changes in the process of the game):

| locked cabinet behind the restaurant to get Fire Hook. Use the Fire Hook on |
| the locked hatch in the restaurant and short scene will follows. Carlos     |

|           short scene. Get out from the hole on the wall (or exit using the |
|           ladder, you'll meet Nemesis again if you do this). Short scene    |

| [L2.1-2]: Jill and Carlos will try to hide from Nemesis, and Jill will      |
|           throw a lamp with fires towards the gas behind the restaurant.    |
|           Guess what? Explosion made Nemesis faints at the moment, collect  |
|           item from Nemesis body if you're interested. Note that he will    |
|           get up soon. Get out from there. Short scene follows. Proceed to  |
|           [CONTINUE] below...                                               |

| Take the left one. Go forward until you see another multi-path, go left at  |
| the moment (as the front door leads you to the restaurant) and exit the     |
| door. Go right and enter a door into newspaper office (not the door which   |
| is locked from inside). Inside the room, push the stairs forward to the     |
| soft drink machine, climb the stairs and activate the electricity at the    |
| top of the soft drink machine. Go down the stairs and activate another      |
| device just beside a shutter. The shutter opened and go through the stairs  |
| and enter a door. Go forward and enter a room. A short scene begin and      |
| you'll be introduced to Carlos follow by Nemesis appearance.                |

| 1st option: Jump out of the window. (refer to [L2.2-1])                     |

| [L2.2-1]: You and Carlos will jump out from a window and end up in the      |
|           garbage area. Get out from there and watch another short scene.   |
|           Proceed to [CONTINUE] below...                                    |

| [L2.2-2]: You and Carlos will try to hide from Nemesis, and Nemesis will be |
|           blown to crash into the window. Nemesis is fainted and get an     |
|           item drop near him if you're interested. Get out from there and   |
|           exit the building. Short scene follows. Proceed to [CONTINUE]     |
|           below...                                                          |

| -If you didn't choose any of the option, you'll get to control Jill, do     |

[CONTINUE]:
Get the Rusted Crank in the save room near the restaurant. Get the Green Gem 
and use both Blue Gem and Green Gem on a device near the locked gate to open 
the locked gate. Enter the door, ignore the green door you encounter along the 
way, go left and enter the door. Go all your way, enter the door, and again go 
through the way, and pick the Green Herbs if you want to, enter the door. 
Here's few enemies for you to combat. Climb the crate and get to the cable car 
and enter it from the back door as the front door is locked from inside. 

Prepare to have another short scene, Nikholai and Mikhail is introduced here. 
Go through the door in the cable car, and another short scene will follows. 
Carlos will give you a small bag allowing you to carry more items in your 
inventory. Now get the Wrench from one of the seats in the cable car. Unlock 
the front door of the cable car and exit. 

Note:
-There are four items (two of the items will be combined) required to fully 
 activate the cable car. If you ONLY found the item not more than three of them 
 and return to the cable car, you will get to see a short scene. Mikhail is 
 protecting himself from the zombies. There are two different way he protect 
 himself.

Go to the gas station. Now on your way to a closed door. Use the Rusted Crank 
on the 6-diagonals hole beside the shutter, the Rusted Crank will break and use 
the Wrench on the broken crank. Enter the door. You will see short scene in 
there as you walk forward (scene will varies depending on your progress). 
Search for a device and get the Machine Oil by solving a little puzzle. Please 
refer to the puzzle solving section for detail information on this puzzle. 
Short scene follows after you got the Machine Oil. Get out from the room. Short 
scene will follows depending on your progress. Go along the way back to exit 
this area.

[FMV sequence]: Enjoy!

Get out from there obviously as there's no more path for you to proceed. Go 
along the way to exit this area to the gem device. Bang!, door open...zombies 
out! Go into the opened door. Push the switch on the statue and get the Bronze 
Book. Place the Bronze Book on a slot which can be found outside the restaurant 
(the one which the water start flowing whenever you take away the Bronze 
Compass). Obviously, get the Bronze Compass. Get back to the statue and place 
back the Bronze Compass. Check on the statue and get the Battery. Use the 
Battery on the device beside the elevator (inside the place where you got the 
3RD MAP) to activate the elevator. 

Go down using the elevator. Go through the way and enter the electrical 
substation. There's a very small corridor here, just enter another door. Inside 
the electrical substation you will see two shutter ("15V-25V", "115V-125V") and 
a locked door. Activate the device near the locked door. Operate another device 
near the "15V-25V" shutter. You need to switch between the red button (high 
voltage) and blue button (low voltage) to form the total voltage to between 
115V-125V, or 15V-25V. To open the "15V-25V" shutter, select red, blue, blue, 
blue. To open "115V-125V" shutter, select blue, red, blue, red. Beyond "15V-
25V" shutter you can find a Fuse which is use to activate the cable car, and 
beyond "115V-125V" door you can find a weapon in a locker. Make sure you get 
the Fuse first. Once you opened one of the shutters, get the Fuse and a weapon 
if you like to, and exit the room and you'll have a short scene.

| [L3-2]: Jill will increase the electricity by activating the device near    |
|         the locked door and the zombies dies. Proceed to [CONTINUE]         |
|         below...                                                            |

| -If you didn't choose any of the option, the door will be forced opened by  |
|  the zombies and you'll get to control Jill, do whatever you like at this   |
|  moment, kill or avoid the zombies.                                         |

[CONTINUE]:
Make sure you got the Fuse from the electrical substation before leaving. Take
the elevator up. Bring along your Wrench and go all your way to where the Fire 
Hose is located. Use the Wrench on the Fire Hose, take the Fire Hose. Go back 
to the location of the fire hydrant(red light spot) near the save room, and use 
the Fire Hose on it. The fire is now gone. Go forward and enter the door. Go 
through the corridor. Once you exit the door, there's another Crank just in 
front of you, pick it up. Go forward and enter a door into the sales office. 
Short scene follows as you entered the sales office (different scene will be 
shown depending on your progress). 

Look for the remote control on the desk and use it. You'll be shown an 
advertisement on Umbrella product. Take note on the product name of the product 
displayed, it's a password! Check out the computer near the remote control, and 
enter the password. The locked door is deactivated, go into it. In there look 
for the Oil Additive on one of the shelves and take it. Leave the place.

[FMV sequence]: Enjoy!

Short scene follows. After the scene, you got to control Jill. Just shoot the 
wheel on the pipe to release the steams just before the zombies walk through 
there. The steams will kill them.

Note:
-Remember the other Crank you obtained earlier? Don't bother to do the 
 following if you're not interested on getting extra weapon rounds. Go back to 
 the place outside the back door of bar shop (where you first introduced to 
 Brad), use the Crank on the square hole beside the locked shutter. Get the 
 weapon rounds.
-You can get back to where you start the game to check on Dario, the fat guy! 
 Unfortunately he's dead by now, you can check out his previous hiding place to 
 get some items.

Get back to the cable car and make sure to bring along Fuse, Machine Oil, Oil 
Additive, and Power Cable. Combine the Machine Oil with the Oil Additive to get 
Mixed Oil. Once you got all the four items (two for combining into Mixed Oil) 
and along the way back to the cable car, you will encounter several obstacles. 
In the parking area, the ground will breaks into a hole (this will happen after 
you obtained the Oil Additive). Jill will fall down the hole but fortunately 
she manage to hold still.

Continue on going back to the cable car, along the way you will once again meet 
Nemesis, avoid him and leave the place, or you can knock him down. Continue 
your way and you will encounter one more obstacle and the place is getting an 
earthquake and floor is once again breaks into hole, but this time you will 
falls into the hole. In the hole you will be awaken and you'll be introduce to 
a new enemy, Gravedigger. Don't bother to kill it at the moment, search for two 
switch and activate them. You must quickly activate them otherwise Gravedigger 
will hurt you! Once two switch is activated the ladder is lowered, climb the 
ladder to exit from there. Now you're free to get to the cable car. Get into 
the cable car.

Use the Mixed Oil, Fuse, and Power Cable on the panel behind the cable car. 
Short scene showing Carlos getting in the cable car(he'll give you weapon 
rounds depending on your progress in the game). Go through the door in the 
cable car. Short scene follow. Now Nemesis is in the cable car, go to the next 
room of the cable car. Mikhail is injured and Nemesis is showing himself. Don't 
bother to waste any of your bullets on him, just go back to the front room of 
the cable car, and Mikhail will take his last breath to confront Nemesis.

Mikhail's dead now (sop, sop). Cable car is losing its control at the moment, 
Carlos can't brake the cable car.

|         Unlocked the center door if you want to. Enter the left door to the |
|         dining room. Exit the dining room. You will enter the piano room,   |
|         nothing is important here. Go through the door into the chapel      |
|         (save room). In this room, get another key (Clock T. Key~Ladder).   |

Once you got the Clock T. Key~Ladder, go up the stairs in the main hall, 
there's several enemies up the stairs. By avoiding them or killing them, go 
through the corridor and enter a door. Now you end up in a balcony of the clock 
tower. There's a switch there, it is not useful for the moment. Use the Clock 
T. Key~Ladder on the key hole to lower the ladder and climb up. This is the 
mechanical room (save room). Check the musical device on the left. Listen to 
the music that is playing, and solve the puzzle by switching between up and 
down to hear a particular tone of the music. The music puzzle is divided into 
six parts ranges from A to F. For each part you're required to determine the 
tone of the music by switching up or down to form the full musical tone. There 
is no exact solution to this puzzle as this puzzle is random. Just listen to 
the right tone by adjusting up/down in the option. Keep doing this until you 
got the right tone for all the six parts. Once you solved this puzzle, the gold 
plate will opened. Get the Chronos Chain in there. Combine the Chronos Chain 
with the Clock T. Key~Small to form the Chronos Key. Get the Silver Gear 
located on the bookshelf. Go down and exit the balcony.

Go down to the study room, and use the Chronos Key to open the green door. 
Enter the door and go through the way, enter another door. There's three 
statues, each holding a small stone, namely Amber Ball(gold), Osidian Ball
(black), and Crystal Ball(white). Take these stones and use it on the painting 
on the wall. From left to right, goddess of past, goddess of present and 
goddess of future. Placing any of the stone on the goddess of past will 
decreases the time, and placing them on either present or future will increases 
the time.

Each stone has different effect depending on either three of the painting you 
placing them. For example, the Amber Ball(gold) is placed on the goddess of 
past will decreases the time to 2 hrs, but if the Amber Ball(gold) is placed on 
the goddess of future, the time might increases to 4 hrs. This puzzle is random 
and you must switch between three small stones on the painting to get the time 
on the goddess of present to 12:00:00. Well good luck!

Once you get the puzzle done, the clock on the center painting will be opened.
Get the Gold Gear. Combine the Silver Gear with the Gold Gear to get Chronos 
Gear. Now go back up to the mechanical room. Use the Chronos Gear on the device 
behind the room. The clock(or the bell) is now activated. Prepare to fight 
Nemesis and go down.

[FMV sequence]: Enjoy!

Short scene after the FMV sequence, depending on your choice made earlier, 
different scene will be shown. Now Jill is infected with virus through the 
scene. After the scene, prepare to fight Nemesis, this is a tough one. Be sure 
to use the grenade launcher with ice rounds. Check the "Gun Powder Mixing" in 
the miscellaneous section on how to get ice rounds. Approximately 10 ice rounds 
is enough to bring him down.

II. October 1st. Night...

After you beat Nemesis, watch the scene, and you'll end up in the chapel next 
to the piano room. Now you're controlling Carlos. Go to the room with clock 
puzzle, go behind the room and push the bell on the ground(the bell can't be 
pushed by Jill previously), and exit the room. Go left and enter the hospital. 
Go forward and you will be introduced to your old friend, Hunter from Biohazard 
1. Get your gun ready! or run away from them.

Enter the door to your right into the save room. Go out from the save room. Now 
inside the room get your 5TH MAP on the notice board, and a Tape Recorder on 
the desk. Go to the elevator and activate the voice recognition system. Use the 
Tape Recorder on that system. The elevator is activated. Get into the elevator 
and you can choose to do between the following option first (different option 
firstly done will change the sequence in the game):

| Go up to level 4F. Go straight and enter the data room. You will see short  |
| scene where you'll meet Nicholai again(if you choose PATH A first). After   |
| the scene, go behind the data room to get the Sickroom Key. Now exit the    |

| get a password from the dead body near the door, and check out the position |
| of the drawer in this room. Go out from this room. Now use the Sickroom Key |
| to open the 2nd ward room's door. Now get in and push the drawer in the     |
| reverse position of the drawer in the 1st ward room. For example if the     |
| drawer in the first room is in north-east position. Push the drawer in the  |
| 2nd ward room to north-west position. Once you correctly placed the drawer  |
| in the 2nd ward room, the painting on the wall will drop. Open the safe by  |
| using the password from dead body. Get the Vaccine Base(blue). If you       |
| choose to do this part first, proceed to [PATH B]. Otherwise proceed to     |
| [CONTINUE] below...                                                         |

| Go down to B1 using the elevator. Go your way to enter a door. Watch the    |

| laboratory. Get the Medium Base from the closet and use it with the machine |
| near the big tube (Hunter is inside the tube), now deactivate the other     |
| machine next to the machine to drain the water in the tube. Now go operate  |
| with the previous machine and you will need to solve puzzle. You need to    |
| activate and deactivate between 5 levers to make the levels shown in the    |
| machine to be equal. Lower the I lever, II remain, lower the III lever,     |
| lower A lever, and B remain. That should do. Get the Vaccine Medium (red).  |
| If you choose to do this part first, proceed to [PATH A]. Otherwise proceed |
| to [CONTINUE] below...                                                      |

Once you completed both option above, combine Vaccine Base (blue) with the 
Vaccine Medium (red). Now get back to the clock tower. Along the way you will 
encounter a lot of enemy. Once you enter the main living room of the hospital,
a short scene follows. You only have 7 seconds to leave the hospital. Get out 
from there!

[FMV sequence]: Enjoy!

Continue your way back to Jill. Along the way you'll encounter Nemesis, just 
ignore him and run away (if you did not go back to Jill on time, Nemesis will 
ignore you and get to Jill on his own and kill her, game over!). Once you're 
back to Jill, use the Vaccine on Jill and watch a short conversation between 
Jill and Carlos. After the scene, you'll get to control Jill. Get your weapon 
ready and anything you need. Most importantly get the Lockpick. Get out from 
there. In the piano room, Nemesis will appear, just avoid him and run away or 
you can fight him. Exit the dining room. Run all your way to outside of the 
hospital. Once you're there, use the Lockpick on the locked door in the middle 
of the place. Enter the door into the save room. Get the Park Key~Front from 
the wall. Prepare massive weapon as along the way you might encounter Hunter.

Bring along the Park Key~Front and exit the save room. Use the Park Key~Front 
on the front gate of the park. Enter the gate. You now in the main park. Take 
the east path and go down the stairs. Go through the bridge here and enter a 
door. Now go forward and pick up the Park Key~House from the dead man. Now go 
back to the main park, and enter the door on the west of the main park. Get the 
6TH MAP from the white board. Pick up several Green Herbs and Blue Herbs in 
that area if you like to. Look for a control panel that controlling the water. 
You might need to get down the water and look for a illustration to drain the 
water. Here's the sequence on solving the puzzle, move the black first, white, 
black, white, black, black. This will drain the water. Now get down the ladder. 
Go all your way and climb the ladder up to the graveyard.

Go through the graveyard and enter a door using the Park Key~House got from the 
dead man. In the room, get the Lighter ready and get the Iron Pipe from the 
closet. Now use the Lighter on the fireplace, and Iron Pipe in sequence. Get in 
the fireplace. In the strategy room, get the Park Key~Rear. Get out from there 
and you will meet Nicholai again.

Now get ready your weapons and ammo, including herbs. Go out from the room and 
go forward.

[FMV sequence]: Enjoy!

It's Gravedigger you met previously before activating the cable car! This time 
kill it! This is quite difficult to kill, use the acid rounds with the grenade 
launcher to kill it. Check out "Gun Powder Mixing" in miscellaneous section on 
how to get acid rounds. You can waste time running around until a scene is 
shown. Shoot the light poles near the water area. The electricity will kill it!

Once the enemy is dead, go back to the east of the main park. Go all your way 
and use the Park Key~Rear to unlocked the rear gate of the Raccoon park. Enter 
the door and go straight to a bridge. Nemesis appear again.

| From the save room, get the Water Sample from the blue light spot and enter |
| the water testing room. Check out the machine behind the control room, use  |
| the Water Sample from the blue light spot with the machine. Now another     |
| puzzle that is random. You'll see a sample on the upper screen. There's     |
| three part ranges from A to C, each with a particular line shown. Navigate  |
| between left or right for each one to make the final result look exactly    |
| the same as the sample. This is a technique on how to solve this puzzle,    |
| first set a condition by looking for the non-line(s), and the level(s) of   |
| each line in the sample. Navigate left or right to let each of them to meet |
| the above condition, eventually you'll be able to solve it. This is         |
| confusing but easy if you understand. Once you solved the puzzle, you will  |
| make the water level to be certified, which you'll be shown. Now get out    |
| from there and go through the tunnel (short scene follow if you'd chosen    |
| the 2nd option) and enter a room with stink pool. Take the elevator up.     |

the Facility Key on the machine beside the water control machine. Get the

you'd chosen the 1st option. Use the System Disk on a device on the wall. Watch 
for a scene. Prepare for a massive fight with Nemesis!

Once you beat Nemesis, a Card Key will drop off from a dead body, pick it up. 
Use it on the device near the locked door. Exit the door.

Short message is given on missile is ready to launch. If you're interested on 
getting extra weapon, get to the steam room and use the Card Key on the 
elevator. Go down collect some weapon rounds and go forward and use the checked 
Facility Key to open the locked safe. Get the Rocket Launcher.

Get to the locked shutter outside the save room on the 2nd floor. Use the Card 
Key on the shutter. Now go through the way and enter the communication room. 
Proceed to [1ST SCENE] if you'd chosen the 2nd option on the bridge. Proceed to 
[2ND SCENE] if you'd chosen the 1st option on the bridge.

storage box because you're going to confront the LAST BOSS. Go through all the 
way where zombies lying around and exit the door. Go through your way and enter 
the door. You'll find two old "friend" from Biohazard 2 in this room, one is 
dead beside the train, another one is dead under the rail cannon. Now go 
activate the machine next to the big rail cannon. It will check everything, the 
battery is out! Search for the batteries where there's a number indicating the 
battery's number. By sequence, push forward (just like you push the stair in 
the newspaper office) the battery 1 (Nemesis appear for the last time!), 
battery 2, and battery 3 into the battery's slot. Rail cannon will now fully 
activated, and for a short while, the rail cannon will be charged and shoot, 
but in only one direction. Lure Nemesis to the position where the rail cannon 
is shooting at. Let the rail cannon to shoot Nemesis for a couple of time (One 
shot is possible depending on how much damage you'd done to Nemesis before the 
first shot) to kill it. Leave the room. Short scene follows.

06. Secret/Bonus
------------------------------------
There's lot of secret items in BH3/RE3 which is more easier to be obtained 
comparing to BH1/RE1 and BH2/RE2. You will get secret(s) after everytime you'd 
completed the game despite on how good your rank is.

The amount of secret(s) item is obtained however, based on your rank upon 
completing the game. For instance, the amount of extra costume, you can get 1 
or more costumes at a same time depending on your rank on finishing the game. 
Once every completion of the game, you will get an epilogue, which comes in 
sequence. Don't worry, you will get an epilogue that is different for each 
completion. In other words, you'll need to complete the game 8 times in order 
to get all the epilogues (whew!). Once you'd got all the 8 epilogue, you will 
get a message, I don't know the content of the message since it's in japanese 
words, but I guess its telling you that you'd collected all the epilogues. 
Secrets that can be obtained through the completion of the game is shown in the 
following:

01. Boutique Key (used to open a locked door near beside the bar shop)
02. Five extra costumes:
     a. Jill's S.T.A.R.S. uniform (from Biohazard 1)
     b. Police uniform with short skirt
     c. Shopping clothes (white in color)

07. The Mercenaries Game
------------------------------------
There's no walkthrough explaining on how to get to a point here, I only provide 
basic guide in this section. You can choose from the three persons in the 
following, each with their own difficulty (BTW, these soldiers has lost their 
edge):

The Mercenaries: Operation Mad Jackal is not an easy game to be completed if 
you want to get a higher grade. But it is easy to be completed if you're only 
heading to the destination, which will give you grade D. Getting a grade is 
greatly depends on the amount of enemies you'd killed, and the amount of 
civilians you'd saved. Refer to "The Mercenaries Game" in rank/grade section 
for the grade information.

In order to get more incomes throughout the game, you are required to save 
civilians including your members (Mikhail, Carlos, and Nicholai). Killing 
enemies will also greatly increases the incomes. Try to kill Nemesis along the 
way, but I think that it is quite impossible to kill Nemesis using either 
Carlos or Nicholai. I would say that it is possible for Carlos but in order to 
finish the whole game, it is not possible as his weapon ammo is not enough (at 
least for me, yet). It's difficulty is almost the same as "The 'To-Fu' 
Survivor" in Biohazard 2.

There's a time constraint for you to save the civilians. For instance, in order 
to save Brad in the tunnel, you're required to arrive in the tunnel within the 
time limits. If you didn't fulfil this condition, Brad will die there! I had 
found out that it is not exactly based on the time limit but based on your 
progress in the game. I had notice that in order to save Brad, you're not 
required to arrive at the location before of 00:50:00 but based on time you'd 
used before arriving at the location of Brad. There is no exact time limit for 
saving civilians in other words. Civilians and the location of the civilians is 
listed in the following:

The fifth and sixth person depends on who you're controlling. It could be 
either Carlos, Mikhail or Nicholai. For example if you choose Mikhail, the 
fifth is Nicholai and the sixth is Carlos. Saving civilians will directly 
affect your grade and income. Once everytime you'd saved a civilian you will 
receive a reward such as bullets, or first aid spray.

The incomes is approximately 1000 plus if you complete the game with all the 
civilians saved. You will get grade A if you'd saved all the civilians and 
arrived to the target destination for about 01:30:00 plus. There's grade S in 
the mercenaries game, and it can be obtained if you save all the civilians, 
shot more enemies along the way (as many as you can) and complete the game.

-Please refer to "The Mercenaries Game" in rank/grade section for the grade for 
 the mercenaries game.
-The Mercenaries game in Resident Evil 3 is much tougher than the Biohazard 3 
 one. The enemies is much more powerful in Resident Evil 3.

waste of time. When I finish

Following six months of

At last I have found the
evidence I need to prove that
the "cannibal disease" is indeed

One man actually ate people to

I have heard rumors that many
people are also suffering from
this disease now. However, the
causes of the disease is not
yet known. Is this another
mystery of the present disease?
I will have to check on it...

They have placed Raccoon City
under martial law because of
the cannibal disease. I have
lost contact with the media
outside of the city, but I won't
give up. As a journalist, I
won't keep my eyes shut and
walk away. I have a duty to the
people and my profession. I
don't think the disease has
spread nationwide yet. I believe
that this city holds the key to
it's creation and cure. In fact,
I'm sure of it.

The military has set up
blockades around the city to
keep people from escaping and

the citizens have either died or

city, but I can't help but pity

eaten, it doesn't matter. My

the mystery of this deadly

that the disease is not spread
through the air, but by some

MERCENARY'S POCKETBOOK

September 26th
It's only been three hours since
the mission started, but the
team is down to me and Campbell.
The number of the zombies is far
greater than we expected. There
is no hope left for this city
We have already injected the
antibody for the virus, but I'm
not sure that it will work. I
don't know if I will survive...

September 27th
We managed to reach the clock
tower. Out of desperation we
robbed some wounded members of
their weapons and used the
surviving citizens as decoys.
We were taught to do this in
order to survive in the battle
field, but I never enjoyed it.
However, a girl showed up at the
clock tower before me. She is
one of the survivors. She looks
just like my sister before
she starved to death...

September 28th
I wanted to evacuate as soon as
possible, but the girl didn't.
Her father insisted that he
wouldn't leave the city where
his beloved wife rests in peace.
I really wanted to save the
girl, bu Campbell said, "All I
care about is our lives." That's
how I felt before, but now...
The clock tower has become a
dangerous place and I don't
want to make anymore mistakes...

DIRECTOR'S DIARY

September 10th
These patients suffers from
gangrene and congestion of their
blood at first. Then their mind
slowly deterioriates. In the end,
there is nothing left of their
mind. When that happens even
mercy killing seems pointless.
After all, they are already
dead...

This disease is unlike anything
I have ever witnessed. Once the
patient's mind is gone, they
become flesh hunger monsters
and act like wild animals who
are on some type of bloodlust.

September 18th
Another patients has been
admitted to the hospital. He is
showing symptoms of the first
stages of the disease at this
point, but... I haven't been
able to sleep at all these past
few days. I refuse to let these
patients become "zombies." I am
not just an ordinary citizen. I
am a doctor. Even if I die, my
clinical charts will contribute
to finding a cure.

September 26th
We lost most of the doctors and
staff during the battle against
the "zombie" patients. It's
impossible to maintain the
hospital under these conditions.
And, I know that it's too late
for me. I am beginning to feel
that same itchy and hungry
desire that all of my patients
felt. It's too late for me...

syntesizer to cultivate the
vaccine, please follow the

can start mixing the vaccine
medium. To mix the vaccine, you
will need to control the five
levers. This will cause the two
gauges to increase or decrease.
If you adjust the two gauges so
that they stop at the center,

[Supervisor's Report]----------------------------------------------------------

SUPERVISOR'S REPORT

The endurance ability of the
contaminated guinea pigs is
truly incredible. Even when
shot in a vital area, they can
sometimes survive for several
days without taking care of the
wound. However, after prolonged
exposure to the virus, the
guinea pigs' intelligence level
decreases to that of an insect.
Even though reviving the dead
seems too disgusting, the virus
may still be of use. If we
inject the virus into our POWs
and release them, they would
return to their units and then
turns into zombies. This plan
may work well for us in the
future.

In certain areas, the virus
seems to have caused the
mutation of animals and plants.
It may be difficult, but it'll
make a good sample for the bio
weapon development. I've heard
that there is a giant alligator,
but I have only encountered a
giant creature moving under
ground. I don't even want to
imagine what creature spawned
that monster.

I encountered "NEMESIS."
If I didn't know about it, I'd
have been contaminated and would
have become one of them by now.
If it is still walking around in
the city, its mission is not yet
over. S.T.A.R.S. members must be very
tough, since they have survived
until this point. However, they
cannot hold out forever...

April 25th
Today is my 30th birthday. I was
transferred to this facility
today. I am very happy because
the work environment is very
different from life in the
university.

May 14th
The disposal system has been
completed. Using a special kind
of gas, it can decompose the
cells of the guinea pigs. We
have to try this out before
beginning practical usage of
the system, since it is not
100% stable yet.

May 20th
While I was checking the
treatment room, the door shut,
and I was locked inside. I
couldn't get out for one hour.
I guess even if you have the key
card, it's useless when you are
locked inside.

June 7th
The guinea pigs we have to
dispose of are increasing. The
system is not working smoothly.
The laboratory staff doesn't
listen to my opinions and I
am getting extremely frustrated.

July 16th
We can't dispose of all the
bodies and the quality of the
liquid medicine is not good
enough, either...

July 29th
Though the function of the
system decreases, the number
of the bodies we have to dispose
doesn't. The infection level has
increased and the antibodies we
are using is no match for the
new mutation of the virus. Some
of the workers have been
infected by the disease. I have
continued to work, but I always
keep a gun with me. I must
remember to save one bullet for
me. I want to weep. I don't want
to die here. I swear that I'll
lose my mind if I imagine how
painful the death will be...

"Security of the Plant"
Since this plant is a facility
under the disguise of a deserted
factory, civilians will
sometimes enter. If this should
occur, do not hesitate to shoot
them. If they choose to
surrender, arrest and then
transfer them to the laboratory
as new guinea pigs. You will be
rewarded.

"Maintenance of the Device"
This entire plant is controlled
by an epidemic prevention
system. When contamination is
detected in the treatment room
or decomposed specimen pool, the
plant will automatically be
locked down for isolation. In
that case, you must follow the
manual to unlock it. If the
contamination is over the limit,
the whole system will
automatically lockdown. Then,
you must remain in the plant and
wait for subsequent orders.
Those who leave the facility
without permission will suffer
extreme consequences.


[Incinerator Manual]-----------------------------------------------------------

INCINERATOR MANUAL

This incinerator plant is one
of the facilities that burns
the disposable items which are
sent from the laboratory. The
incinerator burns the waste
materials that cannot be
decomposed at the treatment
room. It also supplies
electricity to the facility
by a thermal power electricity
generator. Part of the
electricity is stored in the big
battery installed in the
facility's underground area. The
electricity is used as an
auxiliary power source.

The auxiliary power circuit will
be activated once the three
"auxiliary circuit units" are
properly placed in their
sockets. In case the circuits
are not connected automatically,
a person can connect them
manually to activate the system.

Two weeks has passed since that
day. My wounds have been healed,
but I just can't forget it. For
most people, it's history now.
But for me, whenever I close my
eyes, it all comes back clearly.
Zombies eating people's flesh
and the screams of my teammates
dying. No, the wounds in my
hearts are not healed yet...

August 13th
Chris has been causing a lot of
trouble recently. What's with
him? He seldom talks to the
other police members and is
constantly irritated. The other
day, he punched Elran of the
Boy's Crime department just for
accidently splashing Chris's
face with coffee. I immediately
stopped Chris, but when he saw
me he just gave me a wink and
walk away. I wonder what
happened to him...

August 15th
Midnight. Chris, who has been
on a leave of absence for a
"vacation," called me so I
visited his apartment. As soon
as I walked into his room, he
showed me a couple of pieces of
paper. They were part of a virus
research report entitled as
simply as "G". Then Chris told
me that, "It's not over yet." Ever
since that day, he has been
fighting all by himself without
rest, without even telling me.

August 24th
Chris left the town today to go
to Europe. Barry told me that he
would send his family to Canada
and then he would follow Chris.
I decided to remain in Raccoon
City for a while because I know
that the research facility in
this city will be very important
to this entire case. In a month
or so, I'll be joining with them
somewhere in Europe. That's when
my real battle begins...

VII. Epilogue

This section is mainly talks about the epilogues that you can obtain in the 
game upon completing the game everytime, at least 8 times. Basically the 
epilogues talks on each character's story. The following epilogues comes in 
sequence as you complete each game:

[Jill]
After escaping the city, Jill set out to join Chris Redfield.
However, all she found was an empty hideout of Chris's. On 
the floor was Chris's knife. Jill left without hesitation 
because she firmly believes that Chris is still alive. She 
will search for him until she finds him. Then they can go and
put an end to Umbrella...

[Chris]
"Please forgive me Claire." Chris Redfield has just finished
this letter with his signature phrase. As he removes his
sunglasses, a lady walks by him with light steps. "She looks
about the same age as Claire," he thinks. A short time later,
Chris discovered that his sister was looking for him, but was
caught...

[Barry]
Barry Burton looks at his young daughters and says, "I'm sorry
but my comrades are waiting for me." He knows that he must 
repay his teammates for forgiving his betrayal. Even if that 
means leaving his family for now. His wife tries to hide her 
fear, so she smiles and says, "Don't worry. We'll be OK..."

[Leon]
Leon Scott Kennedy is confronted with a man who claims to be a
US government agent. Leon says, "Leave Sherry alone. She is
innocent." "She knows too much." the man replies. He looks at 
Leon and says, "But you have value. This is a good deal. Make
your choice." Without regret or hesitation, Leon closes his 
eyes and then sharply responds...

[Claire]
"Leave us alone!" Claire Redfield couldn't believe Leon's words.
Leon continued, "You're looking for your brother, right? Just 
go!" Claire knew Leon and Sherry needed immediate attention, but
she could not waste any more time. "I... I'll be back. I 
promise!" She said as she disappeared into the wilderness 
alone...                

[Sherry]
"Do you have any relatives?" when the army officer asked her. 
Sherry Birkin did not respond for she has no immediate 
relatives. Her mother and father died because of the G-virus.
And so, this little girl holds herself with her arms and
bites her lips tight. She thinks, "I'm sure she will come 
back. She won't forget about me..."

[Ada]
A woman looks at herself in the mirror. She used to be called
Ada Wong... But this morning she will say good-bye to the name.
"I'm not Ada Wong anymore..." She feels her ab and thinks, 
"This is Ada's scar, not mine." And she says good-bye to Ada
Wong, she can't stop her tears. However, there isn't much time
left before her next mission...

[Hunk]
"Once again, only you survived, Mr. Death," the chopper pilot
speaks with a cold bitterness. "Always, only you, survive,
Mr. Death," the pilot continues. But Hunk does not respond to
the pilot. He doesn't care.

"The Death cannot die..." the survivor thinks to himself with
a warm smile...

-The contents of the epilogues is directly taken from the Resident Evil 3(US 
 version).


VIII. Ending

This section is mainly talks about the ending that you can get in the game upon 
completing the game. This section is considered as the spoiler part. Stop 
reading the following if you don't want the game to be spoiled. There is three 
endings including short scene, so here goes:

[1ST ENDING]
After Jill took the elevator down, Carlos waiting for Jill with the chopper. 
Jill and Carlos will leave Raccoon City with the chopper. Upon leaving, Raccoon 
City is bombed!

Condition to get 1st ending:
-Choose the 1st option on the bridge to the disused plant.

[2ND ENDING]
After Jill took the elevator down, Carlos will appear soon and talk to Jill 
"Don't you hear that sound?", follow by the chopper. Jill and Carlos will take 
the chopper and leave Raccoon City. Upon leaving, Raccoon City is bombed!

Condition to get 2nd ending: 
-Choose the 2nd option on the bridge to the disused plant.
-Directly go down the ladder in the communication room after Carlos entered.

[3RD ENDING]
After Jill took the elevator down, Carlos will appear soon and happily says 
"Jill, the chop' is here!", follow by the chopper. Jill and Carlos will take 
the chopper and leave Raccoon City. Upon leaving, Raccoon City is bombed!

Condition to get 3rd ending:
-Choose the 2nd option on the bridge to the disused plant.
-Exit the communication room after Carlos entered.
-Enter the communication room again, you will see short scene which changes the 
 ending part.

-There's actually two CG movie for the ending.
-Both the 2nd and the 3rd ending having the same CG movie as ending.

This section is NOT a walkthrough and extremely lacks of information such as 
how to go to a location. It only tells you what to do in your quest in the game 
and to finish the game in the fastest way (useful for me).

01. Get into the warehouse. 
02. Get Warehouse Key in warehouse. Unlock the locked door and exit.
03. Get Lighter Oil.
04. Get Lighter. Combine Lighter with Lighter Oil.
05. Use Lighter to unlock door sealed by ropes.
06. Get Card Case. Check for the S.T.A.R.S. Card.
07. Use S.T.A.R.S. Card on the computer to get password.
08. Get Blue Gem. 
09. Unlock safe with password. Get Emblem Key.
10. Unlock lock door in police station 2F with Emblem Key.

58. Unlock the door outside Raccoon park using Lockpick.

79. Get radar receiver in the disused plant 2F, communication room.
80. Get down using the ladder in communication room.
81. Get into rail cannon room.
82. Activate machine next to the rail cannon.
83. Push battery 1, battery 2 and battery into their slot.
84. Lure Nemesis to be shot by the rail cannon.
85. Exit rail cannon room using back door.
86. Go down using elevator. Walk forward and watch the ending.

miss, please contact me. You see, you may need to fulfil several condition to 
view the event listed here. If there isn't any condition listed, it means that 
the stated event is static, which will always be view along your quest in the 
game. If there's errors in this section, please correct me.

                     activate the cable car.

08.01     Nemesis appear on top of a building in front of the electrical
          substation, facing the front door of the electrical substation.
          Condition: Go to electrical substation before getting Oil Additive.
                     Get the Fuse from "15V-25V" shutter. Exit.
                     Choose nothing between the two options in the electrical
                     substation.
                     Exit from the front door.

08.02     Nemesis appear on top of a building in front of the electrical
          substation, facing the rear door of the electrical substation.
          Condition: Go to electrical substation before getting Oil Additive.
                     Get the Fuse from "15V-25V" shutter. Exit.
                     Choose the 1st option in the electrical substation.
                     Exit from the rear door.

09.01     Carlos appear in the sales office.
          Condition: Go to sales office after getting Fuse.

09.01.01  Carlos appear in the cable car after Jill activated the cable car.

09.02     Nicholai appear in the sales office.
          Condition: Go to sales office after getting Fuse.

10.02     Carlos and Jill run towards the cable car's control panel to activate
          the cable car.
          Condition: Go through the door in the cable car after Carlos and Jill

12        Mikhail shooting Nemesis.

13        Cable car is losing its control.

14        Clock tower is introduced.

15.01     Carlos appear in the study room of the clock tower.
          Condition: Choose the 1st option in the cable car.

15.02     Carlos appear in the dining room of the clock tower.
          Condition: Choose the 2nd option in the cable car.

16.01     Carlos appear after Jill fighting Nemesis.
          Condition: Choose the 1st option in the cable car.

16.01.01  After defeating Nemesis, Nemesis will walk towards the fires and
          falls down. Jill fainted.

16.02     Carlos appear before Jill fighting Nemesis.
          Condition: Choose the 2nd option in the cable car.

16.02.01  After defeating Nemesis, Nemesis will walk towards the fires and

17        Jill's infected with virus. Carlos is comforting Jill.

19.02     Carlos meet Daniel and Nicholai in 4F of the hospital, data room.
          Condition: Go up to 4F of the hospital before entering the room
                     next to the laboratory on B3 of the hospital.

20        Time-bomb is found in the 1st floor of the hospital.

21        Nemesis jump out from the wall in the main living room of the clock
          tower.

22        Nemesis ignore Carlos and leave the living room of the clock tower.
          Condition: Keep avoiding Nemesis for a period of time in the main
                     living room of the clock tower. 

23        Nemesis forced open the door to enter piano room from the dining
          room.
          Condition: If you're controlling Carlos, make Nemesis to come into
                     the dining room from the main living room of the clock 
                     tower.
                     Then exit the dining room to piano room.

24        Nemesis is forcing into the chapel by trying to break the door
          outside the piano room.
                     Keep avoiding Nemesis for a period of time in the piano
                     room.

25        Jill is cured.

26.01     Nemesis forced open the door to enter piano room from the dining
          room.
          Condition: Do not make Nemesis barge into piano room when controlling
                     Carlos.

26.02     Nemesis jump down from the top of the main hall to surprise Jill.
          Condition: Make Nemesis barge into piano room when controlling 
                     Carlos.

27        Nicholai appear in the strategy room.

28.01     Gravedigger shocked by the electricity and dies. A fence is dropped.
          Condition: Keep avoiding Gravedigger until the light poles is shaked.
                     Shoot the light poles and lure Gravedigger to the water
                     with electricity.
        
28.02     Gravedigger dies. A fence dropped.
          Condition: Shoot Gravedigger to death.

29        Nemesis appear on the bridge.

30.01     Jill push Nemesis off the bridge.
          Condition: Choose the 1st option on the bridge.

30.02     Jill jump off the bridge.
          Condition: Choose the 2nd option on the bridge.

30.03     Jill attacked by Nemesis and fell off the bridge.
          Condition: Choose nothing between the two options on the bridge.

31.01     Carlos appear in the 2F save room of the disused plant.
          Condition: Choose the 1st option on the bridge.

31.02     Carlos appear in the tunnel in the disused plant.
