This is probably the best game I have EVER played.
This is a one in a million game and Konami made Suikoden a lot better and fittingly named it Suikoden 2. Instead of the Freedom Fighters controlled by McDohl and the Scarlet Moon Empire controlled by Emporor Barbarosa, it pits the City-State of Jowston or also refered as the League of Jowston controlled by you vs. the Highland Empire controled by Agares Blight.
Instead of the run-down castle in Toran lake, it's the town of North Window you control now. If you've ever played Suikoden 1 and beaten it you'll remember many things, like how Victor said he was born in North Window, and when you overthrew Moravia and Kasim Hazil, they mention something about the City-State of Jowston. Some characters return like Victor and Flik and if you load saved data from Suikoden 1 you some of the returning characters levels are higher and weapons are higher.

Review section(compared to the first Suikoden and on my standards)

Graphics: 11/10
The graphics have improved 10000-fold since the last game and there was really bad graphics in the first game.

Sound: 10/10
It's still got exellent music.

Control: 11/10
Now you have the ability to run in towns without the use of the Holy Rune by pressing and holding the [O] button. The other funtions are very easy learn.

Difficulty: 10/10
It's about as difficult the first game but the plot is extremely different.

HOW FUN IS IT: 11/10
With all the new features the game's a lot funner and it has great potential to rival even Final Fantasy VIII. It's intreging gameplay could bring in even the most bias of gamers to play this awsome game.

SHOULD I BUY/RENT THIS GAME: 10/10
This game is so great. If you don't believe me, rent it. If you like it buy it. If you don't just don't buy it. Ok?
