This document / FAQ _may_ be reproduced electronically, as long as it
remains in its unaltered form. You may also print it, but, of course,
you _may not_ make money off of this - even if you _do_ give credit!
That doesn't make it any more moral (or legal), folks!

I want to take this time to humiliate EGM and Game Cave once more:
"This means you!"

This document Copyright 2000 Justin Sison. This is dedicated to Kao
Megura, who, after 5 Megs or so of FAQs, has retired from FAQ writing.
I can't blame him, though... certain magazines and mail order stores
are making blood money off his fine work, and he always gets the short
end of the stick. Check out his homepage for more on that...

Remember, folks, that it was Castel who made the combos and the movies,
and I merely transcribed them. I make no claims of ownership (except
this FAQ), etc. It's a product to and from the Tekken community.

  1. I N T R O D U C T I O N
==============================================================================

Tekken 3 is an old, old game, but it is still one of the best fighting games
around. With the advent of Tekken Tag Tournament, Tekken fans have once again
powered up their PlayStation, waiting with baited breath in anticipation of
the PlayStation 2 release of TTT. (including myself!)

Because the Tekken Tag Tournament engine is, basically, the Tekken 3 engine,
it is fair to say that most of the combos found in Tekken 3 should still work
on TTT. Also, the Juggler's Bible, though holy and respected with awe, is
quite outdated, and new and better combos have been found since then. God's
web site (Tekken.Net) has combo movies, but of course, you would only be able
to attempt them if you had your computer on. Ah, but what if someone actually
took the time to write them onto a FAQ! Well, problem solved!

Being work of only one person (ME!), I'm sure there are more than a couple of
errors. Please e-mail me and tell me your corrections; I will give you credit,
of course, but the actual update will take awhile... I'd give it a month, at
most.

***NOTE***

1) I like to denote a move on counter hit this way: [CH]b,f+2. To me, it makes
more sense than b,f+2(CH). Think about what that's saying... if you were to
read it aloud, it would sound like, "Do a b,f+2. Oh by the way, it has to
hit on counterhit." (this may change in future revisions)

2) Anytime you see an U/F,4 in combos, that means you hold up and forward,
hitting 4 before the peak of your jump, _but not at the same time_. The
conventions on Zaibatsu still list it as U/F+4. (this may change in future
   revisions as well)

3) Anytime you see an U/F,3 in combos, that is the universal kick stun. To do
that, press 3 at the peak of your jump. (yep, this may change later)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
:: 3.1a  Anna Williams :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Anna plays almost identically to her sister, Nina. The base moves
are the same, so the biggest difference is in combos. The most important move
she has is her d+4,1.

Standard juggle starters: d/f+2 | u/f+4

Act I: [BGM: Anna Williams, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) u/f~4, d+4,1, 1,2,(1),4
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: The "~" is very important!
     - Alternatives: None?

  2) [CH]SSR+2, d+4,1, 1, f,f+1+2
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: The f,f+1+2 is actually the hardest part...
     - Alternatives: [CH]SSR+2, WS+4

  3) d/f+2, d/f+1, u/f~4, d+1, WS+1+2
     - Performed on: Hwoarang

     - Alternatives: d/f+2, u/f+4

  4) [CH]FC,f+2, d+3+4
     - Performed on: Law
     - Combo help: Speed. Speed, I say.

  6) FC,f+1, d+4,1, d+1, WS+1+2
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: The 4th move... practice it!
     - Alternatives: Nah.

  7) 1+2+3 [opponent attacks, gets stunned], u/f+4, d/f+3,1,4,2,4
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: If Gun Jack does a close 3 when Anna does her Mystic Booty,
he will get stunned, allowing you to do those moves.
     - Alternatives: Um, uh...

  8) [Nina does her Evil Mist, attacks and gets stunned herself]
     u/f+4, 1, d/f+3,2,(1),4
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: I have know idea how this works. But it apparently does!
     - Alternatives: Um...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
:: 3.2a  Bryan Fury ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Bryan is about equal to Heihachi in terms of juggling capability,
but his options seem far less varied. Most (98-99%) of his juggles end in
his f,f+2, though that's not really a bad thing. Still, on the grand scale
of things, he is a nicely-balanced character with hair-ripping juggles, and
although only expert players can fully take advantage of him, intermediate
players can do just fine.

Standard juggle starters: u/f+4 | WS+1 | d/f+3 | [CH]b+2
(NOTE: WS+x is the same as QCF+x in Bryan's case)

Act I: [BGM: Hidden Characters, Tekken 3 Arcade]

  1) u/f+4, 1, 3, 1, f,f+2

  2) [CH]WS+3, WS+2~b+2, 1~(4),3,3
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: Connecting the 1st two moves is maddening! Don't try it!
     - Alternatives: Blah...

  3) [CH]SS+1~2, u/f+3, 1~4, d+3
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: The 4 should make them flip over. You have to run up to
         them and hit d+3.
     - Alternatives: None...?

  4) [CH]WS+3, u/f+3, 1,(2),1,2
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: It's not too hard, really...
     - Alternatives: Act I-2

  5) [CH]b+2,1, b+3,2,1, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: It's not really too hard. Just try it!
     - Alternatives: None...?

  6) [CH]b+2,1, b+2,1,2
     - Performed on: Lei
     - Combo help: Delay the 2nd 1 very, very slightly!
     - Alternatives: [CH]b+2,1, b+2,1,4 (a lot easier AND more damaging!)

  7) [CH]b+2,1, 1+3+4, 1+3+4, f,f+3
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: This taunt combo is really, really hard! I pass!
     - Alternatives: I-5, I-6

     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: You'll need to do the QCF versions instead.
     - Alternatives: I-2, I-4

-

Act II: [BGM: Tiger Jackson, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) u/f+4, d+1, cc, 1,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: It's that maddening cc again... oy!
     - Alternatives: I-1

  2) [CH]WS+3, u/f+4, 1, WS+3,4
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu

     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: All the hits should, well, hit!
     - Alternatives: Acts I-5, I-6, I-7, I-8, II-4

  8) [CH]WS+3, u/f~4, b+2,1,4
     - Performed on: Law
     - Combo help: The u/f~4 IS different than the u/f+4!
     - Alternatives: Acts I-2, I-4, I-9

  9) [CH]WS+3, u/f+3, 1,2, f,f+2

     - Combo help: This combo is kinda easy, and not too damaging... but it
         sure is flashy!
     - Alternatives: Acts I-1, II-1

  5) [CH]WS+3, QCB,N+2, 1~4, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: The QCB thing needs to be done quickly to launch!

:: 3.3a  Dr. Boskonovitch  :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Even more so then Lei, Dr. B. is the game's most deceptive player.
He has good speed and good juggles, with moves from different characters.
Unfortunately, this balance comes at a price... the doc is always falling
down, and in fact, it takes a fairly skilled player to keep him upright!

Standard juggle starters: u/f+1 | u/f+2 | [CH]f,f+1 | [CH]f,f+2

Character specific conventions: BDS Bad Stomach (1+4)
                                TRU True Stance

(notes: Dr. B.'s Supercharger can be done with 3+4. When falling back (both
with and without electricity), hold f. The timing on the u/f+1,d is so that
you should press d right at the moment you land.)

Act I: [BGM: Dr. Boskonovitch, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) [CH]SS+2~f, u/f+2~f, u/f+2~f, u/f+2
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: Each move makes him fall back, so be quick!
     - Alternatives: Meh?

  2) [CH]f,f+2~u~f, [Gun Jack flies over], [BDS]1+3~U
     - Performed on: Gun Jack, AND ON HIM ONLY
     - Combo help: From John Lott: "If you continue to hold up, bosco will
hit the floor, and bounce up and knock gunjack out of the air.
however, if you don't hold up, he will just lay there and get
stompd (great laugh factor). If you let go of up then roll, that
is how you can get the back throw off."
     - Alternatives: None yet.

  3) [CH]f,f+1~f, u/f+1,d~f, SSR, u/f+2, 1, f,f,N+3
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: Jeez. Do everything quickly. AND I MEAN IT THIS TIME!
     - Alternatives: None?

  4) [CH]f,f+1~f, u/f+1,d, u/f+1,d
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: You'll need to recover after each u/f+1. Also, you'll be
switching sides, for reasons I will never know...
     - Alternatives: Act I-3

  5) [CH]f,f+2~f, u/f+2~f, f,f,N+3
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: This one's kinda easy, but remember to recover.
     - Alternatives: On small characters? You'll have to wait.

  6) [TRU]f,N,d,D/F+4,4,4,1, 1, f+3+4
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: To get in the true stance, you'll have to eat a low hit.
After the Heihachi move, you'll be Dr. B. again.
     - Alternatives: Um...

  7) [FCD]3, 1, 1, 1, 1, f+3+4
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: There's going to be a lot of dust...
     - Alternatives: Hm.

  8) [BDS]1+2,-->2,2,1+2,-->1+4, SSR+2,1
     - Performed on: Byran
     - Combo help: After the chain throw, do the SSR+2,1 IMMEDIATELY.
     - Alternatives: None.

-

Act II: [BGM: Dr. Boskonovitch, Seven Remixes]

  1) [CH]f,f+2~f, d/f+1,2~f, 1, d/f+1,2
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: You may have to dash a bit to get the 1 to hit.
     - Alternatives: Act I-5

  2) [CH]f,f+1~f, u/f+1,d~f, SSR, 1, 3,4, f+3+4

     - Alternatives: Acts I-3, I-4

  3) [CH]??????, f,f+1+2
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: As you can see, I have no idea what the first move was. It
wasn't in any moveslist, but it looks like Heihachi's Demon Breath.
     - Alternatives: Grr...

  4) [CH]f,f+2~u~f, [Gun Jack flies over], B,1, u/f+2~f, 1, 1, 1, 1, f+3+4
     - Performed on: Gun Jack, AND ON HIM ONLY
     - Combo help: From Konqrr: Again, do the [CH]f,f+2~u, tap f to stay up,
then with Dr. B's back still turned, hold back until he starts his
2nd backstep (you'll know it when you see it) and then press 1.

:: 3.4a  Eddy Gordo ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Eddy Gordo is the character who single-handedly ruins an otherwise
perfect fighting game. All button mashers have to do is hold back on the
joystick and go wild on the kick buttons. Luckily, if you know how to block
his moves, he's not so bad, but if your arcade has crappy diagonals, you're
out of luck. Eddy does have the wildest combos, however...

Standard juggle starters: d/f+3+4 | WS+2 | [HSP]d+3+4

Character specific conventions: HSP handstand position
                                RLX relaxed position

     [HSP]d+3+4, [HSP]4, [HSP]D+3, [RLX]3~4

         the movie!
     - Alternatives: 3~4~B, [HSP]4, [HSP]D+3, [RLX]3~4

  3) U/F,3, 1,2, d+3
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: It's not a typo... just hit 3 at the peak of your hop.
     - Alternatives: Nein!

  4) [CH]b+4, d/f+3+4, 1, d/f+1, d/f+2
     - Performed on: Heihachi
     - Combo help: Don't be surprised if you whiff with the f+2...
     - Alternatives: None yet...

  5) [CH]b+4, d/f+3+4, SS+1+2,3
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: The only way to do this is to perform the sidestep with

     - Alternatives: Act I-4

  6) SS+3+4~D, [RLX]D+3+4~D, [RLX]4~3
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: Your opponent should flip over with the SS+3+4.
     - Alternatives: None.

     - Alternatives: Blah.

 10) [on opponent's side]
     WS+2, b+4,4,3+4, d+3
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu

Overview: Gon is a joke character, no matter what anyone says. He may be a
formidable opponent when used correctly, but given his small size, a better
term would be "cheap." Despite all this, I once managed to get a 69-win streak
with him just by doing a f,f+3+4, Shoulder Ram. And that, my friends, is what
we call cheap.

:: 3.6a  Gun Jack ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Overview: Gun Jack is not really a juggler, but he can certainly hold his own
with his ridiculously damaging juggles! It takes a really skilled player to

Standard juggle starters: HCF,D/F+1

Overview: Heihachi is *the* Tekken juggler! All his combos inflict disgusting
damage, even for intermediate players. With expert-level playing ability, you
can add flash to your combos. Heihachi is blessed with the ability to jab and
dash with ease, plus he has Paul's Cheapfist.

Standard juggle starters: f,N,d,d/f+2 | f,f+2 | d/f+1,2

Character specific conventions: wgf wind godfist f,N,d,d/f+2
                                ewgf electric wind godfist f,N,d~d/f+2
                                tgf thunder godfist f,N,d,d/f+1

Act I: [BGM: Quiet Interim Report, Strike Arranges]

  1) [CH]f,f+3, WGF, 1, 1, f,N,d,d/f,N+4,4
     - Performed on: Mokujin
     - Combo help: Because Heihachi can't do a standing Axe Kick with a
d/f+4,4 like Jin (even though he supposedly thought him that...),
you are forced to do the Crouch Dash Buffer.
     - Alternatives: Instead of doing a wgf, try a d/f+1,2. If you do a WGF,
you can also do 3 or even 4 jabs. (mad hard!)

  2) f,f+2, 1+2, f+1,b+2,1
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: It's fairly easy, but only possible on the big characters.
     - Alternatives: If you're fighting a CPU-controlled Gun Jack, you should
just do the WGF, followed by his unblockable. Works 100% of the time.

  3) f,f+2, wgf, 1, wgf
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: Try doing the wgf as early as possible. To tell you the
truth, I've only done this combo once, before deciding that there
were slightly easier combos off the f,f+2.
     - Alternatives: Anytime you do a wgf after Heihachi's f,f+2, be prepared
for some random body placements! Sometimes the opponent will go
behind you, sometimes to the side... (there are movies for these)

  4) [CH]f,f+3, u/f, [just before landing]4, d/f+1, wgf
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: Try to do the wgf at ewgf speed.
     - Alternatives: Oh, right, alternatives... um... HEY LOOK OVER THERE!
[footsteps][car door opening and closing][tires screeching]

  5) u+4, 1, 1, f+1,b+2,1
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: It's really not too hard.
     - Alternatives: Try 3 jabs and the first two hits of the Demon Massacre.

  6) [on opponent's side]
     f,N,d,D/F+4, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, 1, f,N,d,D/F+4,2
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: It's incredibly hard. Consider yourself lucky if you get
the second kick to hit. And do it fast, or else it'll be tech rolled.
     - Alternatives: Just do the old f,N,d,D/F+4,4,N+4,4!

  7) d/f+1,2, 1, 1, 1, f+1,b+2
     - Performed on: Law
     - Combo help: Jab, dash, jab, dash... you know the deal.
     - Alternatives: Try 3 jabs instead of 4.

  8) [on opponent's side]
     f,f+2, wgf, f,N,d,D/F+4,4,4,N+1
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: The opponent should flip over so you can connect the Hell
         Sweeps into the tgf.
     - Alternatives: Try 2 Hell Sweeps instead of 3.

-

Act II: [BGM: Heihachi Mishima, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) wgf, 1, f,N,d,D/F+4,4,N+1
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: Be quick or your opponent will tech roll!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  2) [on opponent's side]
     f,f+2, wgf, f,N,d,D/F+4,4,2
     - Performed on: Lei
     - Combo help: Godspeed my friend, godspeed...
     - Alternatives: Act I-8

  3) [CH]f,f+3, wgf, d/f+1, f+1,b+2,1
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: I usually do moves 2-4 when I whiff the wgf into the tgf.
As such, this is the easiest and most damaging combo off the wgf.
     - Alternatives: Act I-1

  4) wgf, u/f~D+1, d/f+1, d/f+1,2
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: The jumping jab is the hardest; make sure you practice.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  5) f,N,d,D/F+4, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, 1, 1, wgf
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: Don't you wish you had help?
     - Alternatives: Act I-6

  6) wgf, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, f+1,b+2,1
     - Performed on: Heihachi
     - Combo help: Not too hard. Not too damaging or flashy, either!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  7) [FCD]3, WS+4, d/f+1, d/f+1,2
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: Don't waste this juggle opportunity! (See Misc-Links)
     - Alternatives: [FCD]3, WS+4, f+1,b+2,1

  8) wgf, 1, 1, 1, 1, wgf
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: If possible, try doing it on the opponent's side.
     - Alternatives: 3 jabs should be enough for expert / master players.

-

Act III: [BGM: Opening Movie, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) f,f+2, wgf, f+1,b+2,1
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: This is for rare cases; make sure you have Valle reflexes!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  2) wgf, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, wgf
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Be quick or prepare for trouble! (and make it double!)
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  3) [CH]d/f+2, 1, 1, 1, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: Be quick, yet again...
     - Alternatives: Why would you want to use such a crappy starter? Always
use the d/f+1,2 if you can't pull of a wgf in time.

  4) wgf, 1, 1, tgf
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: Do the jabs early and the tgf even earlier! (not really)
     - Alternatives: Do one jab, or even none...

  5) [on opponent's side]
     f,N,d,D/F+4, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, 1, f+1,b+2,1
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Um, uh...
     - Alternatives: Act I-6, Act II-5

  6) f,f+2, wgf, BK 3
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: Be *very* lucky, and do the wgf _quickly!_
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  7) wgf, 1, 1, f,N,d,D/F+4,4,2
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: Jeez, be quick!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  8) [on opponent's side]
     f,f+2, wgf, tgf, d+1
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: Quick!
     - Alternatives: On Gun Jack? Why don't you ask me to recite all the
numbers above and below zero? :)

-

Act IV: [BGM: Heihachi Mishima, Tekken 3 Arcade]

  1) BK u+4, 1, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, d+1
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: Um, uh...
     - Alternatives: Um, uh...

  2) [CH]f,f+3, d/f+1,2, 1, 1, 1, QCF+2
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: Quickness is a virtue...
     - Alternatives: 2 jabs should do.

  3) f,N,d,D/F+4, f,N,d,D/F+4,4,4,2
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: Be quick, jeez!
     - Alternatives: f,N,d,d/f+4,4,N~4,4 (It's a pre-canned combo. So?)

  4) f,f+2, wgf, 1,1,2
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Maybe you have to be slightly on the opponent's side.
Still, you might not anticipate this on reaction...
     - Alternatives: Act III-1

  5) f,f+2, 1, 1, 1, 1,(1),2
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: Help?
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  6) wgf, u/f~D+1, 1, wgf
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: The second move in this combo is annoyingly hard.
     - Alternatives: Act II-4

  7) [on walking opponent]
     f,f+2, wgf, d+4
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: I don't see when you'd use this... but the opponent should
flip over and to the side, allowing the Geta Stomp.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  8) wgf, wgf, wgf
     - Performed on: Tiger
     - Combo help: Make sure you have mad, mad reflexes. Do the wgfs at ewgf
speed. Consult MorriganAensland for help! This is arguably the
hardest combo in Tekken 3, so don't feel bad...
     - Alternatives: Take your pick... for your own sanity!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
:: 3.8a  Hwoarang ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Hwoarang is definitely the style character. He requires more skill
than usual to be effective. This means an intermediate Law or Paul will, 9
out of ten, beat an intermediate Hwoarang. You *can* play those characters
with high levels of skill, it's just that you'll reach that level a lot
faster with them than Hwoarang (or Jin, since that was taken almost word for
word from Slikatel's Tekken 3 Jin Kazama FAQ). Anyway, his combos are often
extremely hard to do, and you may or may not ever use his [RFF]f+4~4, a
common juggle launcher.

Standard juggle starters: [RFF]f+4~4 | [CH]d+4,4 | f,N,d,d/f+4

Character specific conventions: LFF left foot forward (standard)
                                RFF right foot forward
                                LFS left flamingo stance
                                RFS right flamingo stance

Act I: [BGM: Hwoarang, Battle Trax]

  1) f,N,d,d/f+4, 3+4, [RFF]3~4
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: Do *everything* as quick as possible.
     - Alternatives: None yet...

  2) [CH]d+4,4, u+3,1, f+3~3
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: The 1 should be immediately after the u+3.
     - Alternatives: [CH]d+4,4, u+3,1, f,f+4, BK d+3 (hard)

  3) [RFF]f+4~4, u+3, [LFS]4, [RFS]3
     - Performed on: Eddy

     - Alternatives: None yet...

  4) [RFF]f+4~4, f+3,(3),3,4,[RFS]3
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: It only works *sometimes*.

  5) [RFF]f+4~4, 4~f~N, 2, 4,3
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: You *really* need to see the video...

  6) [CH][RFS]4, 1, d/f+1, d+4,4
     - Performed on: Tiger
     - Combo help: Nah, this is already easy...
     - Alternatives: None, thank goodness...

  7) f,N,d,d/f+4, [run behind]BK 3, BK 3
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: I wish I had help with this, too! The movie is a *must*.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  8) f,N,d,d/f+4, U/F+4, f+4,~3
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: This seems almost pre-canned, but it's not!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  9) f,N,d,d/f+4, U/F+4, 4,4,4, [RFS]3
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: Try to hit them _up_ with the U/F+4. In any case, watch it.
     - Alternatives: Act I-8

-

Act II: [BGM: Hwoarang, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) f,N,d,d/f+4, 3~4, 1,2,4

     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  2) [CH]d+4,4, b+4, [RFF](4),3
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: The opponent should flip over on the b+4.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  3) [CH]d+4,4, d+1, WS+4, d+4,4
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Be quick. Even in the video, she got dusted...
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  4) [RFF]f+4~4, f+3,1, 3~4
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: The 1 should pop them up just barely...
     - Alternatives: Act I-4

  5) [on opponent's side]
     [RFS]f+4~4, 1, f+3,1, d/b+4
     - Performed on: Bryan

     - Alternatives: Not really...

  6) [on opponent's side]
     [RFF]f+4~4, b+3, d+4,4
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: The opponent should flip over on the b+3.
     - Alternatives: Not really... again...

  7) f,N,d,d/f+4, U/F+4, f,N,d,d/f+4
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: The opponent *will* get dusted on the 3rd move...
     - Alternatives: Acts I-8, I-9

  8) f,N,d,d/f+4, [run behind]BK 3, 4,(4),4,4

     - Alternatives: Act I-7

-

  1) [RFF]f+4~4, f+3,b+3, 1,2, f,f+3
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: Pure style! Only on Gun Jack, though... he should flip over
on the [LFS]b+3, and again on the 1,2, and a final ground hit.

  2) [CH]d+4,4, f+2, [RFF]1, d+4,4
     - Performed on: Nina

:: 3.9a  Jin Kazama ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Overview: Jin's skills stem from his parents, and together, with a blend of
his own, make a formidable style. His 1+4,2 allows him to connect all sorts
of float juggles. Unfortunately, his combos are among the hardest to do in
the game. His ewgf is a pain to execute for inexperienced newbies, especially
when you have to do it *immediately* if you want to do Acts II-9 and V-5.

Standard juggle starters: f,N,d,d/f+2 | f,N,d~d/f+2 | WS+2 | [CH]b,f+2

Character specific conventions: wgf wind godfist f,N,d,d/f+2
                                ewgf electric wind godfist f,N,d~d/f+2
                                tgf thunder godfist f,N,d,d/f+1

Act I: [BGM: Jin Kazama, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) wgf, f,N,d,d/f,N~4, 1+4,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: The punch (1+4) should miss.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  2) ewgf, U/F,4, 1+4, d/f+4,4
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: Press 4 on your way up, but before the peak of your jump.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  3) [CH]b,f+2, d+3+4, 1+4,2, ewgf.
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: It's a LOT easier on big guys.

  4) ewgf, 1+4,2, b,f+2,1,2
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: Press the 1+4 early so only the kick will hit.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  5) [KND]b,b+3+4, 1+4, 1,1,2
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Help? It's your opponent who needs help if you can pull
this combo off in an actual match!
     - Alternatives: f,N,d,D/F+4, 1+4, 1,1,2

  6) [on opponent's side]
     WS+2, 4, f,N,d,D/F+4
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: The 4 should flip the opponent over, allowing for a free
         Hell Sweep.
     - Alternatives: WS+2, 4, d/f+4,4

  7) [CH]b,f+2, b+1+2, f,N,d,D/F+4,4
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: Don't waste your time with this combo, unless you are
certain you'll K.O. you'll opponent. Otherwise, dash in for the
Electric Guard, and do the Hell Sweeps quickly.
     - Alternatives: [CH]b,f+2, d+3+4, 1+4,2, f,f+2

  8) f,N,d,D/F+4, d/f+2, b,f+2,1,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: Not impossible, but very, very cool anyway. Do all hits
quickly, or else the Demon's Paw won't hit.

  9) WS+2, tgf,3
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Be quick, but make sure to do the full Crouch Dash.
     - Alternatives: Believe me, you don't want to know...

-

Act II: [BGM: Jin Kazama, Tekken 3 Arcade]

  1) wgf, 1,2,4, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: From Konqrr: "Hold forward until the last possible moment
for the knee to hit. I've only done this once."
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  2) WS+2, U/F,4, 1+4,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Heihachi
     - Combo help: I've never done this before, but it seems possible. The
         punch (1+4) should miss.
     - Alternatives: Act I-9

  3) [CH]b,f+2,1, U/F,4, 1+4, d/f+4,4
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: This can work, but getting that last hit can be hard.
     - Alternatives: You don't really want an alternative, since the stun can
         be escaped.

  4) WS+2, 4, f,f~4~1,2,4
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: From Konqrr: "The trick to this is to do the ewgf to get
more height, then press 4 as soon as possible. Now here's the tricky
part, dash forward and press 4~1,2,4 (not 1+4,2,4). That's the only
way to do the White Heron from a run/dash/sidestep."
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  5) wgf, b,f+2,1,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: Delay the 2nd hit of the Stomach Rush combo a bit, and be
quick with the f,f+2. The low kick (1+4) should miss.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  6) WS+2, f,f+2, 1+4,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: Luck, timing, and more luck. I'd do another combo. The
         punch (1+4) should miss.
     - Alternatives: On Gun Jack? Why don't you ask me to recite all the
numbers above and below zero? :)

  7) WS+2, 4, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Heihachi
     - Combo help: SPEED! But not *too* early with the 4.
     - Alternatives: Act I-9

  8) [CH]b,f+2,1, WS+2, 1+4,2, 1,(1),2
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: To do an instant WS, hold D/F for just a moment, then
release (*very* useful for Jin, Xiaoyu, and Hwoarang). The 2nd hit
of the 1+4 should miss, as should the 2nd hit of the 1,1,2.
     - Alternatives: Act II-3

  9) [CH]b,f+2, ewgf, tgf,3
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: This _was_ the hardest combo for me, but not any more. Just
remember that you recover from the ewgf a bit quicker than the wgf.
     - Alternatives: [CH]b,f+2, d+3+4, 1+4,2, f,f+2

-

Act III: [BGM: Jin Kazama, Battle Trax]

  1) wgf, f+4, 1, f,f+2
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Pure style. Shouldn't be too hard. (though it is for me!)
     - Alternates: Take your pick...

  2) [CH]SS+2, b+2,4,2,1,2
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: Because the [CH] property gives the opponent a sort of
"tracking" element, you don't need to worry about axes. Also, the
[CH] property launches the opponent higher.
     - Alternatives: Not many, considering the opponent doesn't flip over.

  3) ewgf, u/f~D+1, 1,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Eddy
     - Combo help: Don't whiff the f,f+2!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  4) [CH]b,f+2, tgf,4
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: It's not hard, really.
     - Alternatives: Acts I-3, I-7, II-9

  5) f,N,d,D/F+4, 1+4,2, ewgf
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: From Kongrr: "I've had my share of luck with this combo.
The trick is to tap forward after the 1+4,2, then right when you
see Jin move (twitch), press d~d/f+2 (make sure you press 2 early or
ewgf won't come out). If you didn't know, the ewgf can be delayed
from f,n...practice with this a little to get used to it, then go
back to this combo. f,n, hesitate, d~d/f+2 (helps your timing if
you do it like this instead: d+2~d/f)."
     - Alternatives: f,N,d,D/F+4, 1+4,2, f,f+2

  6) ewgf, ewgf, b,f+2,1,2
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: It won't work unless the first two hits are ewgfs. But do
         the whole thing fast, anyway.
     - Alternatives: On Gun Jack? Why don't you ask me to recite all the
numbers above and below zero? :)

  7) [CH]b,f+2, b+1+2, 1+4,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Make sure do dash forward before the b+1+2.
     - Alternatives: Acts I-3, I-7, II-9, III-4

  8) WS+2, 4, 1+4,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: Timing on the 4 is crucial! Not too early, not too late.
     - Alternatives: Acts I-9, II-2

-

Act IV: [BGM: Jin Kazama, Techno Maniax]

  1) [CH]b,f+2, b,f+2,1,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Make sure you don't start the 2nd b,f+2 too early, or your
opponent will just take the hit but stay on the ground. Also, delay
the 2nd hit of the Stun Punch combo.
     - Alternatives: Acts I-3, I-7, II-9, III-4, III-7

  2) ewgf, ewgf, 1+4,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: The 1st two hits are EWGFs. Dash forward before the 1+4,2,
but I believe you'll need to tap f,f,f if you want the 1+4,2 to
connect. The punch (1+4) should miss.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  3) SS+2, 1, b,f+2,1,2
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: Make sure you get them to flip over; that's why you side-
step first. If the SS+2 was on [CH], it'll still work, but the
opponent won't flip over, because the [CH] gives your opponent's
         flying carcass a tracking ability.
     - Alternatives: You know, I'm getting real sick of your requests... :)

  4) [CH]f,f+3, d/f+4, 1+4, d/f+4,4
     - Performed on: Lei
     - Combo help: Do everything fast, though the 2nd kick of the Double Axe
         Kick may whiff.
     - Alternatives: [CH?]f,f+3, 1+4,2, f,f+2 (?)

  5) ewgf, b,f+2,1,d+2, 1+4,2
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: I'm not sure if it *has* to be an EWGF. Also, press f,f,f
         before doing the 1+4,2.
     - Alternatives: On Gun Jack? Why don't you ask me to recite all the
numbers above and below zero? :)

  6) [CH]b,f+2, SSL, 1+4,2, b,f+2,1,2
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: I'm pretty sure you *have* to SS to your left. For some
reason, you'll have to press f+1+4,2 or else the move won't come out.
Also, all the hits *should* connect...
     - Alternatives: Acts I-3, I-7, II-9, III-4, III-7

  7) WS+2, U/F,4, b,f+2,1,2
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: Don't even try it, especially on a character like Nina!
In the movie, the b,f+2 *barely* knocked her off the ground!
     - Alternatives: Acts I-9, II-2, II-6, II-7, III-8

  8) SS+2, 3,2,4, 4~3
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: The 3 should flip them over, the 2 should make the opponent
right side up, and the 4 should flip them over, allowing for an un-
         techrollable 4~3.
     - Alternatives: Act IV-3

  9) WS+2, 4, ewgf
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: Be damn fast. DAMN FAST!
     - Alternatives: Acts I-9, II-2, II-6, II-7, III-8, IV-7

 10) ewgf, ewgf, ewgf
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Delay the 3rd EWGF only slightly.
     - Alternatives: If you can do this combo, you don't need alternatives!

-

Act V: [BGM: Quiet Interim Report, Strike Arranges]

  1) WS+2, ewgf, b,f+2,1,2
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: This is too hard, I'm sorry. But delay the 2nd hit of the
         Laser Scraper just a tad.
     - Alternatives: Acts I-9, II-2, II-6, II-7, III-8, IV-7, IV-9

  2) WS+2, f,f, ewgf, BK 3
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: From Castel: "...But it is actually a pure skill combo as
is requires a dash ewgf. WS+2 (buffer f,f dash) ewgf. I dunno if you
realised how this combo was done."
     - Alternatives: Acts I-9, II-2, II-6, II-7, III-8, IV-7, IV-9, V-1

  3) [on opponent's side]
     f,N,d,D/F+4, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, f,N,d,d/f,N+4, f,N,d,d/f,N+4,
     f,N,d,d/f,N+4
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: You can't "cheat" and use the d/f+4.
     - Alternatives: Rip your hair out!

  4) f,N,d,D/F+4, b,f+2,1,2, f,f+2
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Delay the Hell Sweep as much as possible?
     - Alternatives: Act III-5

  5) [CH]b,f+2, ewgf, ewgf, ewgf
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: Don't bathe yourself at all, and drink a gallon of Pepsi.
     - Alternatives: Acts I-3, I-7, II-9, III-4, III-7, IV-6

  6) [on opponent's back]
     b,f+2,1,2, BK 3
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: Delay the 3rd hit, pray that the opponent flies over you,
and press 3 for a *really* satisfying juggle ender!
     - Alternatives: I think not.

  7) [CH]b,f+2, ewgf, tgf,3
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: See Act V-5.
     - Alternatives: Acts I-3, I-7, II-9, III-4, III-7, IV-6, V-5

:: 3.10a  Julia Chang ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: I have mixed feelings on Julia. Although she has good speed and
good damage, some of her juggle starters seem predictable... Then again she
was one of the more popular characters in the TTT World Finals, so... I
suppose she's worth learning!

Standard juggle starters: u/f+4 | [CH]d+4,1 | [CH]1~2,1 | [CH]f+1~2

Act I: [BGM: Julia Chang, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) [CH]d+4,1, 1, d+4,N+4
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: It's not too hard...
     - Alternatives: None yet...

  2) f+1+4, [run behind]BK 2, BK 3
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: I have no explanation as to how it works, sorry!
     - Alternatives: Hmm...

  3) [CH]1~2,1, f,f+1, 1, f,f+1,4
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: Oh, it doesn't look too hard...
     - Alternatives: Blah...

  4) [CH]f+1~2, d,D/F+1,2, 1, d,D/F+1,2
     - Performed on: Panda
     - Combo help: On Panda, it shouldn't be too hard!
     - Alternatives: Not yet...

  5) f+1+4, U/F+4, d,D/F+1,2, f,f+1,4
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: The f,f+1,4 should barely pop them up!
     - Alternatives: Act I-2

  6) [CH]FC,d/f+2, 1, d+1, FC,d/f+2
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: It doesn't look too hard, so it's probably not hard.
     - Alternatives: Um...

  7) u/f+4, f,f+1, f,f+1, f,f+1, f,f+1,4
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: Instead of holding forward, you are supposed to go back to
         neutral. So it's really f,f+1~N, f,f+1~N...
     - Alternatives: On Gun Jack? Why don't you ask me to recite all the
numbers above and below zero? :)

  8) u/f+4, d+1, FC,d/f+4,3, d+1, FC,d/f+2
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: Mad skillz? Not quite.
     - Alternatives: Act I-7

-

Act II: [BGM: Julia Chang, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) [CH]FC,d/f+2, 1, WS+2,2
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: That instant WS again... see "Jarney e-mail" for info.
     - Alternatives: Act I-6

  2) u/f+4, 1, f,f+1, 1, f,f+1,4
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: I'm not sure if this combo is all worth it, but Gun Jack
         should get a little dusty...
     - Alternatives: Act I-7

  3) u/f+4, f,f+1, 1, d,D/F+1,2, f,f+1,4
     - Performed on: Eddy
     - Combo help: Actually, it's fairly easy, dealing nice damage, so...
     - Alternatives: Acts I-7, II-2

  4) [CH]f+1~2, FC,d/f+4,3, d+1, FC,d/f+4,3
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Do everything early!
     - Alternatives: Act I-4

  5) [CH]4, d,D/F+1,2, f,f+1,4
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: Again, the f,f+1,4 barely lifts them up.
     - Alternatives: None?

  6) f+1, 1, d+4,1
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: No, this is rather easy... if you get the f+1 to connect!
     - Alternatives: I'd like some alternatives, too!

  7) [CH]f+1~2, u/f+3+4

:: 3.11a  King :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: King's power lies not only in his multiparts, but in his juggles
as well. He has a high-priority hopkick, a multitude of jabs, and an ideal
okizeme move (d+3+4,2). He also has many tricks and non-juggle combos, which
are described in detail in the section "Jarney e-mail."

Standard juggle starters: u/f+4 | [CH]f,f,N+2

  2) [CH]SS+2, u/f+4, 2~1, d/f+2, d+3+4,2

     - Performed on: Gun Jack

:: 3.12a Kuma / Panda ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: These guys have the same base moves as Jack. However, they are
slightly better at juggling, due to the f,f+2. The quick jabs are done by
f+1. Also, for reasons I will never know, when juggled with Law with the
b+2 after the [CH]b+1,2,1, they will flip over and to the other side, and
will enable Law to to a BK 3! Anyway, the majority of his combos lie in
his double f,f+2s. They are somewhat unpredictable, much like Heihachi's
f,f+2, WGFs.

Standard juggle starters: f,f+2

Act I: [BGM: Kuma, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) WS+1+2, f+1, f+1, f+1+2
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: The whole thing is done rather quickly.
     - Alternatives: WS+1+2,1+2

  2) BK u+4, f+1, f+1, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: It's pretty easy.
     - Alternatives: Blah.

  3) f,f+2, f,f+2, f+1,1,1
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: The opponent should stay in front of you...
     - Alternatives: Just wait!

  4) f,f+2, f,f+2, BK 3
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Luck. Although, it was *Panda* who did this combo...
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  5) u/f+4, 4, f+1, f+1+2
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: A stupid opponent...
     - Alternatives: This is actually the best combo off his short range
u/f+4, so you don't want alternatives.

  6) f,f+2, U/F+4, f+1, 1+2
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: Practice *should* make perfect...
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  7) f,f+2, f,f+2, u/f+3+4
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: It was Panda who did this... maybe that explains why the
2nd f,f+2 made him flip over.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  8) f,f+2, U/F+4, f+1, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Heihachi
     - Combo help: Oh, you don't need help. Panda did this one.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  9) f,f+2, f,f+2, f+1, f,f+2
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Blah.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

:: 3.13a  Forest Law :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Law can be played very effectively, even at intermediate level.
Most of his juggle starters and juggle enders are pre-canned combos, so not
much dexterity is needed with him. Of course, it takes a high mentality to
take advantage of each combo opportunity, and Law certainly has his share
of odd juggle starters (such as his [CH]4, b+2,3,4).

Standard juggle starters: [CH]b+1,2,1 | b+1+2

    - Alternatives: Take your pick...

 3) [CH]b+1,2,1, b+2, u/f+4,3, d+3
    - Performed on: Gun Jack
    - Combo help: Keep in mind that you switch sides with the b+2. Do every-
thing like you know what you're going to do.
    - Alternatives: Replace the 3rd move with 1,1,1,f+2,2,2.

 4) [chicken 4]
    d/f+4,3, d+4,3
    - Performed on: Jin
    - Combo help: Do the d/f+4,3 as soon as possible, so the opponent will
change sides. It's that chicken glitch thing...
    - Alternatives: The... Chicken Glitch throw!

 5) FC,u,4, 1, u/f+4,3
    - Performed on: Xiaoyu
    - Combo help: Help? You're kidding me.
    - Alternatives: You wouldn't need alternatives.

    - Performed on: Xiaoyu
    - Combo help: Tough to do on reaction, but useful.

     - Alternatives: None really...

  2) u/f+4,3, 1,1,(1),f+2,(2),2
     - Performed on: Jin
     - Combo help: Maybe you have to dash a bit first...?
     - Alternatives: None known.

  3) [opponent does a mid or high punch]
     b+1+2~1, d+2,3, b+1,2,1
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu

     b+1+2~2, 3,4, WS+4, b+2,3,4
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: Dashing forward is only a little tricky... also, if the 3
is close to the opponent, it'll do a little more damage.
     - Alternatives: Acts I-8, II-3

  8) [CH]b+1,2,1, 4,u+3, d/b+4
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: The only hard part is the 4~u+3. Seriously.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

-

Act III: [BGM: Forest Law, Battle Trax]

  1) [FCD]3, WS+4, d/f+1, b+2,3

     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: Hmm... speed, anyone?
     - Alternatives: On Gun Jack? Why don't you ask me to recite all the

  4) [CH]b+1,2,1, 4,u+3, d/f+3
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: The 4,u+3 is the important one. Do it kinda early...!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  5) [CH]b+1,2,1, SS, 1, b+2, d/b+4
     - Performed on: Heihachi
     - Combo help: Ah, jeez, from the movie, it looks as though Hei was off
axis. Since the CH property makes face forward, that didn't matter.
Oh, just watch the blasted movie!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick... please!

  6) [CH]b+1,2,1, d/f+1, f+2~1
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Try to launch the opponent back up with the uppercut.

  7) [CH]d+2,3, 4,u+3, b+2, d+4
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: The whole combo seems weird, so you'd better just download
the movie! Except for the d+4, this is Douzono's combo of choice!
     - Alternatives: [CH]d+2,3, 4,u+3, d/f+3 | [CH]d+2,3, 4,u+3, d/b+4 (?)

  8) [CH]b+1,2,1, b+2, BK 3, d/b+4
     - Performed on: Panda
     - Combo help: Though Panda is a big character, it does *not* work on Gun
Jack! Your back faces Panda, only.
     - Alternatives: On Panda? Oh, you know the Gun Jack rant...

:: 3.14a  Lei Wulong :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Lei has some of the craziest juggles, with his vareity of jabs and
his changing animal stances. They're not the greatest juggles in terms of
damage, but they are very, very practical. They are, however, the greatest
combos in terms of looks. Well at least I think so!

Standard juggle starters: u/f+4 | [PLD]3+4

Grounded Positions: PLD play dead position face up & feet away
KND knockdown position face up & feet towards

FCD face down position face down & feet towards

Character specific conventions: CRA art of crane

:: 3.15a  Nina Williams ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Nina has always been a power character, and this time around is
no exception. She's been given an excellent OTG move, the f,f+3, and her
other moves seem faster (?) but are a whole lot more useful. Her multiparts
are good, but, according to Jarney, you should play her ultra aggressive and
use her d/f,d/f+1 throw. Heh...

Standard juggle starters: [CH]d/b+4,3 | d/b+3+4 | b,d/b,d,D/F+2

Act I: [BGM: Nina Williams, Techno Maniax]

     - Alternatives: Huh?

     - Performed on: Hwoarang

over again on the 1st 2 and the 4. I think.
     - Alternatives: On Gun Jack? Why don't you ask me to recite all the
numbers above and below zero? :)

  4) QCF,D/B+2+3, d/b+3+4, 1,2, 4, f,f+3

  6) SS+2, 1, d+4,1, 1, f,f+3
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: In the movie, she SSed to her left. Also, make sure it's
not a counterhit, or else Paul will track her...

:: 3.16a  Ogre :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Ogre is not a juggle character. Borrowing from the non-returning
characters of Tekken 2, his strength lies in devastating power hits and a
variety of moves. He also has the most unblockables in the game (except
maybe Yoshimitsu), which includes Kunimitsu's, the most deceiving set of
unblockables in Tekken - maybe even more so, since he doesn't have weapons!

Standard juggle starters: u/f+4 | [CH]d,d/b+4 | [CH]FC+3,3,N+3

:: 3.17a  Paul Phoenix :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Paul's power seems to compensate for his combo ability - or lack
thereof. It's too bad that in Tekken, scrubs can Cheapfist their way to
victory. Why not play Eddy? Still, the combos he *does* have require mad
skill. Truth be told, though, I don't see anyone using juggles in match play,
let alone tournament play. (TTT Tourney: Hayashida, anyone?)

Standard juggle starter: u/f+4 | QCF+1 | f+1+2 | f,f+4

Act I: [BGM: Paul Phoenix, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

:: 3.19a  Ling Xiaoyu ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Xiaoyu is perhaps the most complex character in Tekken 3. She has
many, many juggle starters, and what's more, they are all deceptive. Against
her, train yourself to block high whenever she goes into her Phoenix Stance.
In that stance, she can do a d+1+2, enabling for many life-draining juggles,
which hit mid. The most she can do in that stance hitting low would be a few
low pecks. Now, which one do you think is better?

Standard juggle starters: WS+2 | [AOP]d+1+2 | BK f+3+4~3+4 | [CH]u/f+4
  | BK 4 | [AOP]u/f+3 | [AOP]1+2

Character specific conventions: AOP art of phoenix

     - Alternatives: Blah.

:: 3.20a  Yoshimitsu :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overview: Yoshimitsu has the best standing uppercut (d/f+2) in the game, with
its huge range and priority. He was also given a sort of limb-slicing move,
the Yoshimitsu Flash (b+1+4). Given the fact that the Tekken 3 engine has the
the opponent floating higher than Tekken 2, you have the tools for juggles
with higher-than-normal hit counts. Unfortunately, Yoshimitsu lacks a single
good speed, medium/high damage move, sans his standing 3. It's also quite
impossible to connect the Yoshimitsu Flash to these combos, as you will see!

Standard juggle starters: d/f+2 | 4~3

Character specific conventions: PGS Pogo Stance

Act I: [BGM: Yoshimitsu, Tekken 3 Arcade]

  1) d/f+2, b+1,1, b+1,1, b+1, d/f+4
     - Performed on: Law
     - Combo help: Buffer a dash after the d/f+2. It won't connect otherwise!
This is also a pretty solid combo, so learn to fall back on this!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  2) d/f+2, U/F+4, 1, 1, f,f+4
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: Practice those jabs!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  3) 4~3, QCF+1
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: The trick here is to do the QCF+1 immediately.
     - Alternatives: Take you pick...

  4) FC,d/b,b+1, d+1, cc, 1, b+1+4
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Jeez, you'll have to have mad, mad dashing skillz!
     - Alternatives: None yet...

  5) d/f+2, d/f+2, f,f+4, b+1+4
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: Do everything as soon as possible!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  6) 4~3, b+1+4, u/f+3+4,b+1,3+4
     - Performed on: Yoshimitsu
     - Combo help: The opponent flips over on the b+1+4.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  7) b+1+4, d+1, cc, 1, b+1+4
     - Performed on: Eddy
     - Combo help: Mad dashing *and* buffering skillz, apparently...
     - Alternatives: None yet...

  8) FC,d/f+3, WS+4, f,f+4
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: The only hard part is the f,f+4.
     - Alternatives: None yet...

  9) d/f+2, f,f+3, cc, 1, f,f+3,1
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: From Castel: "This could very well be one of the hardest
combos not for Yoshi but in the entire game. If you did this within
your first first tries you are one lucky SOB." I accidentally put
labeled this combo as "easy." Dammit, I *thought* it was easy, but
looking back, it was just a d/f+2, f,f+3,1. So take note: ANY juggle
with the cc, property requires a crazy amount of coordination. More
         help on cc, s later!
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

-

Act II: [BGM: Yoshimitsu, Tekken 3 PlayStation]

  1) d/f+2, f,f+4, 1, d/f+2, f,f+4
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: As usual, do everything as soon as possible...
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  2) FC,d/f+3, d+1, cc, 1, 1, 1, f,f+4
     - Performed on: Eddy
     - Combo help: Luck, caffeine, mad dashing skillz...
     - Alternatives: Act I-8

  3) b+1+2,[any], b+1,1, b+1,1, f,f+3,1
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: You have to be at a certain distance... it's annoying...!
     - Alternatives: None yet...

  4) 4~3, u+1+2, [PGS]f,f
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: You're supposed to steb back a bit.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  5) 4~3, U+4, b+1, b+1+4
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: The U+4 is tricky. So practice! Heh...
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  6) d/f+2, b+1, 1, b+1,1, b+1+4
     - Performed on: Eddy
     - Combo help: Mad dashing skillz, as usual.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  7) FC,d/b,b+1, d+1, u/f+3+4,b+1,4
     - Performed on: Julia
     - Combo help: The d+1 should flip the opponent over.
     - Alternatives: Act II-4

  8) 4~3, b+1+4, b+1,1, b+1,(1),1, b+1+4
     - Performed on: Panda
     - Combo help: The opponent should flip over on every other hit. When you
do the b+1+4, Panda is already flipped over, almost FCD.
     - Alternatives: On Panda? Oh, you know the Gun Jack rant...

-

Act III: [BGM: Yoshimitsu, Battle Trax]

  1) d/f+2, f,f+3, WS+4, d/f+4
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: The f,f+3 should allow for a WS+4.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  2) 4~3, U+4, f,f+3, FC+1, FC,d/f+3
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: Again, the U+4 is the hardest part.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  3) d/f+2, f,f+3, cc, 1, (b+1),1,1,1,1, f,f+4
     - Performed on: Gun Jack
     - Combo help: Help? On Gun Jack? Oh, no you don't!
     - Alternatives: On Gun Jack? Why don't you ask me to recite all the
numbers above and below zero? :)

  4) u+1+2, [PGS]3+4, u+1+2, [PGS]3+4
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: The pgs should hit, allowing for a Kangaroo Kick.
     - Alternatives: Since it's really a 4~3... take your pick...

  5) FC,d/f+3, d+1, b+1+4
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: A little mad skillz...
     - Alternatives: Acts I-8, II-2

  6) d/f+2, f,f+1+2, BK d+4
     - Performed on: Paul
     - Combo help: It's a little hard, but do-able.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  7) d/f+2, d/f+2, f,f+3, d+1, f,f+4
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: If you do everything quickly, it shouldn't be too hard.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  8) 4~3, b+1+4, f,f+4, d+4
     - Performed on: Bryan
     - Combo help: The opponent should flip over after the b+1+4.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  9) b+1+2,[any], 1, b+1, 1, b+1+4
     - Performed on: Heihachi
     - Combo help: Again, be at a certain distance.
     - Alternatives: Act II-3

-

Act IV: [BGM: Ling Xiaoyu, Seven Remixes]

  1) f+2, d/f+2, d/f+2, b+1,(1),1,(1),1, 3
     - Performed on: Hwoarang
     - Combo help: The 2nd and 4th hits of the spin punches should miss.
     - Alternatives: On the opponent's back? Take your pick...

  2) d/f+2, f,f+4, 1, b+1+4
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Well, it's probably the easiest "skill juggle" to connect
         the b+1+4 in the air.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  3) d/f+2, 1, b+1, 1, FC+1, FC,d/f+3
     - Performed on: Anna
     - Combo help: Watch the movie over and over again...?
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  4) 4~3, SSR, b+1+4, d/f+1,1,1,1
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: Sidestep to your right... it's kinda like Act I-6.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  5) d/f+2, 1, b+1, u+1+2, [PGS]f,F
     - Performed on: King
     - Combo help: Oh, jeez, help, um, uh...
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  6) d/f+2, b+1,1, d/b+2, FC+1, FC,d/f+3
     - Performed on: Law
     - Combo help: Crazy, crazy combo... just watch the video. (Don't forget
         to buffer the forward dash!)
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  7) 4~3, b+1+2,[any], f,f+4
     - Performed on: Xiaoyu
     - Combo help: Mad... Bad Breath skillz? Huh?
     - Alternatives: Take your pick...

  8) d/f+2, b+1,1, f,f+4, b+1+4
     - Performed on: Nina
     - Combo help: The hardest part is the b+1+4. Sometimes I do the b+1...
Also, like all the other b+1,1 followups, buffer a forward dash.
     - Alternatives: Take your pick... and by now, you should have plenty!

==============================================================================

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
:: 4.1  Jarney e-mail ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

1st set:

Ah you mentioned my favorite subject, combos! In the guide we listed
the combos so people would have an understanding of the game works, we
did not list the best combos for the characters, just the ones they
might learn something from. Now some of my newer ones:>

     Yoshi
     97 Point of Damage
Kangaroo Kick, Yoshimitsu Flash (opponent flips over in the air, so
they can't tech roll), Poison Wind to Bronze Fist to Steel Fist.
     4~3, b+1+4, u/f+3+4,b+1,3+4

Backfist, RP Uppercut, Manji Spin Punches x2, Manji Spin Punches x2,
     Zig Zag (first hit only)
     f+2, d/f+2, b+1,1, b+1,1, 3

     Counter hit RP, Rainbow Drop
     2(ch), qcb+1+2

Jin :P (Man combo mania time)
     114 Points of Damage
Heavy Body Blow (on counter hit), Lightning Rising Uppercut, Dragon
     Uppercut to Spinning Middle Kick
     b,f+2(ch), f,N,d,d/f+2, f,N,d,d/f+1,3
(this combo is insanely hard but do-able. I can't begin to explain how
     hard it is:<)

     108-118 Point of Damager
Lightning Rising Uppercut, Laser Cannon (last hit slightly delayed),
     Lightning Rising Uppercut.
     f,N,d,d/f+2, b,f+2,1,~2, f,N,d,d/f+2
(this is arguablely THE hardest combo in the game)

     Hwoarang (Bob the man)
Fire Cracker (on counter hit) Jump Kick(ends in Left Flamingo), Left
     Flamingo Lead Jab, Torpedo Kick
     d+4(ch),4, u+3,1, f,f+4
(This is my signature Hwoarang combo, it is hard but very damaging)

Sky Rocket, dash in Jump Kick(ends in Left Flamingo), Step Kick (ends
in Right Flamingo), Step Kick (ends in Left Flamingo).
     f,N,d,d/f+4, f,f, u+3,4,3
(this combo is very hard, but very very stylish)

Grand Theft, Bad Dancer (first hit only leave you in Left Flamingo),
Left Flamingo Lead Jab, Toe Jam to Hot Feet.
     (right foot forward),f+4,4, f+3,1, 4,4,4,4
(again this one is tough but man it is tight!)

     Law
     (since we are doing uppercuts)
Right Upper, Left Upper, Poison Arrow.
     d/f+2, d/f+1, f+2~1
     (stylish to say the least)

Right Kick (on counter hit), Junkyard Kick
     4(ch), b+2,3,4
(this combo is so amazingly useful, every good Law needs to master it)

Dragon Storm (counter hit), Cresent Kick Combo, Dragon's Tail
     b+1,2,1, 4,u/f+3, d/b+4
(this is his most damaging combo from the Dragon Storm)

Welp that is all for now! I have mad combos for other characters if
     you are interested just ask.

     Jason

2nd set:

Well I'll do two characters for this email... Bob and Paul.

Err actually the first one you list WAS my signature combo until I
realized that the f+4~4 never hits:P... some other Hwoarang combos...

f+4~4, b+3, f+4~3 (This is an high style combo as it has ALL four of
his stances in it. Start as righty go to lefty, then to right
     flamingo, end in left flamingo)

f+4~4, f+3~1, 3~4 (I believe, though I may not certain, this is THE
most damage of the f+4~4 starter)

     f+4~4, 2, 2, 2, 2, f,N,d,d/f+4 (this combo is insanely hard and damn
near impossible... the trick to doing it is each of the 2s must be
done as f,n,2... so the real execution would be f+4~4, f,N,2, f,N,2,
     f,N,2, f,N,2, f,N,2, f,N,d,d/f+4)

Left Flamingo Lead Jab (LFS+1), Throw (This is more useful than it
sounds, because if you are using the Flamingo to dodge and you get a
jab to connect you get a free throw. More over since you are probably
on their side or back you will probably get a side or back throw. I
     often get LFS+1, Backthrow.)

4(CH), f,f+4 (Again it doesn't seem like much but it is very useful in
     real combat.)

     Laying on face, 3, ws4, d/f+1+2, d+4~4

Paul combos are typically crap... the old boy just don't juggle... but
     here goes:

     qcf+1(ch), u/f+4, 1, 1, FC+1, FC,d/f+2~1 (This is insanely hard and
you need to use the same f,N,x thing as before. But this combo screams
     style!)

     u/f+4, 1, 1, 1, 1, qcf+2 (Again mad hard, mad style)

     4(ch), qcf+2 (Easy version)

4(ch), 1, 1, qcf+2 (Damn hard version. This one is so hard it makes me
     cry:P.)

qcf+1, u/f+4, 4, f+1+2 (This is my signature Paul combo)

     1(ch),d/f+1+2(throw) (A very practical combo!)

-

3rd set:

Hit to Throw can count as a combo in many ways, because some hits induce
so much recovery time that you can not avoid the throw (ducking) and thus
the throw is a combo. The only way it does not combo is if the opponent
is actually good enough to escape the throw... in which case nothing lost
nothing gained. These combos are important because often in annoyance
tactics or general game play you land high speed hits are can link to
throws. Since both hits do the full damage and the throw sets up wake up
game it can all be in your favor. This is common tactic I created with
Bob: right side step, Left Flamingo, Right Flamingo Side Step, Flamingo
Lead Jab (1), throw. In this case if an opponent is rushing me with an
attack like Paul Phoenix Smasher I will side step completely around him
in a blink, stick out the jab (which will hit his back) and then link
into the throw. Since the throw connects on his back it is a full true
combo (since back throws can not be escaped). I get this combo often in
match play. So to sum it up Hit to Throw combos are useful because of the
high "practical" level in them. The characters I use these for are mostly
Paul, Law, Lei, Nina, Anna, Julia, Kuma, King and Bob. Hop in practice
mode sometime and try to find some of your own... you'll be surprised at
how easy and useful they are.

[cut]

Welp back to combos... I think this time I'm supposed to do King and Kuma
having done Bob and Paul right? Humm... next to will be Ling and Bryan I
     guess. Should be fun.

     King
Well before I begin with King one thing you need to master is a
techniques I created called the "GSC". GSC stands for Giant Swing Cancel
and it is a method of buffering the motions of the Giant Swing throw to
make the throw come out really fast after an attack the leaves you in a
standing position. The GSC usefulness from a strategic point of view is
limitless... one of the best moves in all of Tekken... practice it!

u/f+4, 2~1, 1+2~1 (this is the primary King combo of choice everyone
     does)
u/f+4, 2~1, F+2+3 (this one is mad mad hard, but very kewl)
     FC,d/f+1, Ground throw
     FC,d/f+1, ws1, 1~2, b+4(very very hard)
     FC,d/f+1, ws4, d+1, d+3+4~2 (fairly easy)
B+1+2~2+4 u/f+2+4 (rope throw to elbow drop... very useful)
d/b,F+2, ground throw (tombstone to ground throw... very useful)
2~1,2~1,d/f+3(i'm sure i mentioned this one before... very useful and hit
     damage)
f,f,n,2(counter hit), 2~1, GSC (104 points of damage... can't beat that!)
     2~1,GSC

Well that is pretty much essential King. I have very strong King, one of
the best around and I typically use the GSC combos and odd nonjuggle
combos involving throws... high damage and very practical once you get
     used to using them.

     Kuma
Kuma also has a semi GSC done with his Rock and Roll Circus throw. But
given Kuma limited throw range it isn't as useful. Kuma also isn't much
in the combo department. We more or less found everything he has in the
book already. But here are some of mine.

My signature kuma combo... f,f+2, ws+2~1
f+1(counter hit), Rock and Roll Cricus throw
     f,f+2, ws1+2~1+2
f,f+2, b,f+2+3 (believe it or not this is a combo. because they can not
tech roll to avoid it, in fact if the do tech roll it does more damage!
this is his most damaging combo from a f,f+2)

Welp that's pretty much it for Kuma... I mean as far as useful combos
go... he has plenty of crap combos... but why bother? I guess we more or
less found them all with him for the book... Ling is a different story
though.. and with out question my favorite character.

     Jason

3rd & a 1/2 set ;)

I think I forgot to define "clean hit" in my last message!

You should think of cleans hits as a method od limiting and contolling
high damage moves. We will take Paul's Phoenix Smasher as the example
in this case. The standard damage is 33 while the clean hit is 49. In
the common application the clean hit is the common damage, so most of
the time when you hit with the Phoenix Smasher it does 49 points. But
to prevent that move from doing insane damage on counter hit or in
combos those properties are calculated from the standard damage (33).
So a full counter hit does about the same damage as the clean hit. You
will notice in practice mode you can get both clean it and counter hit
to happen at the same time (try doing Nina's Blond Bomb with the count
hit turned on, the do the super charger and hit on an opponent's
back... 180%!), but in real game play this doesn't happen. Because a
clean hit occures when an opponent is just in an unguarded state,
while the counter hit happens when they are attacking. So basically
think of the clean hit as the actually damage, but in the case of
counter hits and combos the damage falls to a lower number to prevent
the move from inflicting too much. Thus the reason the Phoenix Smasher
does so little damage in combos.

Also two King combos I forgot!
     4(ch), f,f, d+1, d+3+4~2
     Laying on face, 3, ws4, d+1, d+3+4~2

4th set

What "doesn't even work"? Get Nina's Mist still giving you fits? I
practiced it a ton and I can do it fairly reliably... but I still find I
never use it in real play. Yeah it is possible to do it like that... to
be honest I still do the three execution method you mentioned... it is
more reliable for me. But then again I never use her chain throws in
match play... I most play her ultra agrressive and use the d/f,d/f+1
throw. My Nina is seriously evil... pray you never fight my Nina... I
wouldn't want to fight my Nina... @#$%ing @#$%^!

Ling and Bryan... humm sure! I love to do Ling... though I am not a Bryan
combo master... The Big Phatty is weird. I have no explanation as to how
it works... sometimes it hits sometimes it doesn't, I alway try for just
     because...

     Bryan first.

u/f+4, 1, qcf+3, 1, f,f+2 (this one is damn hard, so damn hard!!!)
u/f+4, f+1, b+2~1~4 (much easier, slightly less damage)
u/f+4, 2, f+4~3~4 (way easier and only slightly less damage)
qcf+3(ch), D,d/f,d,D/F+1+2(throw) (this combo isn't too tough... it is a
shame we missed this one for the book...)
qcf+3(ch), qcf+1, b+3~2~1, f,f+2 (this one can be one of his most
     damaging combos at 97 points)
     d/f+3, ws+3, 1, f,f+2 (most damage from the d/f+3, very hard)
d/f+3, ws1+2, 2, f,f+2 (this one is much easier with only a slight damage
     loss)
     d/f+3, ws1+2, 1, f+4~3~4 (easiest, still solid damage)
b+2(ch)~1, right side step, qcf+3(opponent flips over), d/f+3 (this is
his most damaging combo... 100 points in 4 hits... but it is very hard to
     get the 100 point version)
     b+2(ch)~1, 1+3+4, b+2~1~4
     b+2(ch)~1, 1+3+4, 1+3+$, b+2~1~4 (taunt combos, gotta love em!)
     low parry, u/f...
f,f,f+3 (blocked), f,f+2 (yep that's right, if they block a slash kick
(running side kick, whatever) you can get a free f,f+2. This is damn
hard, but try setting the computer to "Guard All" and doing this... it
will take some practice. Lotsa characters can do this, Ogre 1 - f,f,f+3
     (blocked), 4; Jin - f,f,f+3(blocked), f,f+2; Hei - f,f,f+3(blocked)
     qcf+3... get the idear?)

Ling... gosh were to begin... I guess the basics
1~d+2, 1~d+2 (4 hit ground combo... more useful than it sounds)
     d/f+1(ch), bt3 (very useful)
AOP,d+1+2, U/F+4, f,f+1+2~1+2 (one of her hardest and most damagine
     combos)
BT,f+3+4~3+4, U/F+4, f,f+1+2~1+2 (variation on the same combo... most
     damage from the BT,f+3+4~3+4)
     BT,4, f,f+3, 2~1, f,f+1+2~1+2 (nice damage very hard)
BT,4, ws2 (instant WS... to explain an instant WS is done like d/f,N,2 in
this case... instant WSes are very usedful for Jin and Ling), 2,2, f,f+3
(this is my trademark Ling combo... it does less damage than most BT,4
combos... but nodoby else does it... so I do)
     Lay on face, 3, FC,3~2, 2~1, f,f+1+2~1+2
     Large only, AOP,d+1+2, 2+3+4, d/f+1, 2, 3 (very hard taunt combo)

Welp I guess next will be Hei... I have asome good stuff for him still..

5th set

Ah Hei combos of joy... we we did discover quite a few Hei combos after
     the book.

     Arcade only:
f,f+2, f,N,d,d/f+2 (opponent flips over flying forward),
f,N,d,d/f+4~4~4~1 (this is Hei's most damaging combo... plain and
simple... in the arcade it does 100%, but it is insanely hard to do... I
have never been able to do it in the PSX version.)

f,f+2, f,N,d,d/f+2 (opponent flips over flying forward), f+1~b+2~1
(slightly easier than the last one but way less damage)

f,f+2, 1+2, f+1~b+2~1 (this was my signature combo in the arcades... sad
it no longer works for the home...:<)

     PSX:
f,N,d,d/f+2, f,N,d,d/f+2, f,N,d,d/f+2 (goddamn this one is hard)

     f,N,d,d/f+2, 1, 1, 1, 1, f,N,d,d/f+2 (yep those damn hard jab combos!)

     f,N,d,d/f+2, 1, 1, f+1~b+2~1

f,N,d,d/f+2, 1, 1, f,N,d,d/f+1 (this actually does less damage than the
plain f,N,d,d/f+2, f,N,d,d/f+1 but the increased difficultly makes it
     more fun.)

f,N,d,d/f+2, d/f+1~2, 4~3 9uf done right opponent lands on face thus can
     not escape the 4~3)

f,N,d,d/f+2, d/f+2 (or d/f+1 but d/f+2 tends to do more damage),
f+1~b+2~1 (this is my PSX signature combo... easy to do and solid
     damage.)

d/f+1~2, d/f+2 f+1~b+2~1 (variation on that last combo... slightly harder
     to do)

     f,N,d,d/f+4~4~4~1, 1+2
     f,N,d,d/f+4~4~N4, qcf+2
f,N,d,d/f+4, d,F,d,d/f+4~4~1 (sweep combos of joy)

Lay on face, 3, ws4, d/f+1, d/f+1~2 (my signature get up combo)

f,f+2, f,N,d,d/f+2 (opponent flip over and flies behind you), bt3, 4~3
     (very very high damage)

     On opponent's back/side area f,N,d,d/f+2, 1, d+1~2 (this is a Tekken 1
combo that only works on the back or side... just kinda funny to find a
Tekken 1 combo that still works.)

f,f,f+3 blocked, qcf+2 (blocked slash kick to free heavy power punch,
     buya)

     f,f+3(ch), f,N,d,d/f+2... (any combo from the f,N,d,d/f+2)

Humm... I think that about raps Hei up... so who's left?

     Jason

:: 4.3  Things to do :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Go over Help and Alternatives

- Mention movies that made up the tribute movies, plus the Jin Bug movie

- Copy movie stats verbatim (maybe)

- Rewrite the FAQ: move the combo indexes to their respective characters, and
promote a sort of "Mini-FAQ" on my web page or Zaibatsu. I doubt CJayC will
put up yet another combo FAQ...

  1) - Name: Tekken Zaibatsu
     - URL: http://www.tekkenzaibatsu.com
     - Description: Easily the best Tekken site... if you've never heard of
this, you should stop playing Tekken, repent, and play Tekken at a
mind-numbing level. No, Castel has _note_ sold out to corporate
interests because of the partnership with IGN... ;) Hopefully Castel
can use that to make the movies more accessible..

  2) - Name: Tekken Mania Manila
     - URL: http://www.geocities.com/tekkenmanila
     - Description: Expect great things from this site... including movies!
You absoulutely _must_ download the Lei - Law fight. It's easily the
most entertaining fight I've ever seen, and that includes the TTT
world tourney! There is also a very useful [FCD] juggle movie, among
others. Note: as of this writing, the page is down...

  3) - Name: Tekken Web
     - URL: http://www.tekkenweb.com
     - Description: This has all sorts of goodies, including the best art
gallery I've ever seen, plus movies and MP3s!

  4) - Name: Tekken Salute
     - URL: http://salute.consolenation.com
     - Description: The original UBB-based forum... I wish I was a "Saluter" a
while ago, because I hear they have hard-core tricks in the posts.
As of this writing, however, their forum is down... which makes the
forum at Zaibatsu _the_ place to go for Tekken related posts.

  5) - Name: Jun's Tekken Club
     - URL: http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/junstekkenclub.com
     - Description: Your #1 club for Tekken Tag Tournament! (Join or perish!
...from old age, or unrelated causes, of course... :) ) This place
has some great pictures (i.e., the pictures from Zaibatsu 1.0, plus
         several others).

  6) - Name: Justin's Folder
     - URL: http://members.xoom.com/kaosu15
     - Description: A refreshingly original web page: light on graphics,
grammatically correct, and thoroughly entertaining. Oh, just read it,
bookmark it, and sign the Dreambook, alright?? It has nothing to do
with Tekken (except for this FAQ), but I guarantee it's somewhat
entertaining. Most importantly: SIGN THE DREAMBOOK! It's the only
way I'll know who went, since I don't believe in counters. If you
want the combo index by itself, you'll have to come there anyway! :

- v. 2.00 [27 February 2000]
All the combo indexes are up, making this FAQ the one-all, end-all FAQ for
Tekken 3 combos! :D A FAQ on _just_ the combo indexes can be found at my
page. What I'm going to do next is "Zaibatsu" the notations once more to
ensure 100% compatibility, as well as replacing the Alternatives with some
combos not done in the movies, as well as going over the combo help (i.e.,
making sure I can do the combos myself!)

- v. 1.00 [30 January 2000]
I've decided to take out the Castel and Shafi e-mail sections, because they
didn't actually _contribute_ anything! Besides, there are plenty of other
ways to pay tribute to them. In case you haven't noticed, VERSION 1.OO IS
OUT! Everything is up (less, of course, those two mysterious Dr. B. moves),
so expect everything you see on "Things to do" - because now I can do them!

- v. 0.91 [26 January 2000]
Here's my official release of the combo compendium! It's taken me long, long
hours (even though I'm supposed to be doing my homework, heh), but it's out.
What's next? I think I'm going to go over the conventions and make sure they
are in conjunction with Ben Cureton's conventions (which are Tekken.Net's
conventions). The PSX characters can wait...
