"This game is absolutely NO FUN, you will not want to play it again"

Time Commando is a game by Activision for the PlayStation that was released in 1996.
Story:
Your character named Nick works for the government in a lab that is trying to harness time traveling, Another entity plants a virus into the time traveling machine. So you must fight your way from the past to the future and stop the virus.
Rating: 7/10

Graphics:
The graphics while not terrible are kinda bad. The graphics don't hinder the game play and you can mostly tell what is happening on screen.
Rating: 6.0/10

Gameplay:
The game play (in my opinion) is just like my opinion on the graphics. The game is not bad... but not good either. If you die, you will be set back to the beginning of the game. If you miss one key object or weapon, when it comes time to need it and you don't have it, well... let's just say your cemented and can't move on. Also, the camera is crummy, remember when I said you could mostly tell what is happening, this is what the other side of mostly is, when you are backed into a corner the camera won't show what is happening and is at a fixed position (so you will die many times.)
Rating: 2.0/10

Sound:
The sound is atrocious, every time the protagonist bangs into something or is being attacked the most annoying sound will come out of his mouth "Ugh". Every other sound is consistent with the "Ugh".
Rating: 2.0/10

Replayability:
This game is absolutely NO FUN, you will not want to play it again and you might give up before you even finish it because when you die, you have to start ALL THE WAY at the beginning. There is a password system but you probably not make it past certain levels anyways.
Rating: 1.0/10

Final Thoughts:
If you do want to play it, you can find this for relatively cheap (less than $5). This is a kind of game where you will come back every now and again, try to beat it, lose and then remember why you lost and gave up in the first place. I do not understand why this game got such good reviews. It's frustrating in every sense of the word. Unless you are a platforming/puzzle machine, you will wonder why this game was worth buying/renting or just even playing. If you want a good platformer go and get Oddworld Abe's Oddysee. Time Commando is a mediocre disaster of a game
Final Score 3.0/10
