Effect Code Play Phalanx When the game is first loading up, hold Select and Start on controller 2. Play using controller 2. Watch Mode Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and hold Down on the Controller. Flat Shaded Turbo Mode
Unlockable How to Unlock Flat Shaded Turbo Mod Get 100 hours of gameplay and perform a five hit combo, then highlight Matchpoint in the options menu and hold L1+L2+R1+R2 and press Down. Repeat the process to disable the effect. Contributed By: zionAnthony.

Unlockable How to Unlock Zulu Defeat the game with every character on any difficulty setting. Contributed By: zionAnthony.
Select Stage
Unlockable How to Unlock Stage Select Play for more than 30 hours, then return to the title screen. You can now choose any stage. Unlock NECO To fight against NECO, play the game using XTAL as your character and without using a continue. Then, hold L1+L2+R1+R2 then select then start. Unlock XTAL To fight against XTAL, play all the way through the game with all eight characters, including ZULU, without using a continue. Contributed By: HeroOfTheDay and piecemealcranky.
Easter Eggs
Secret comic strip
Beat the game on the Easy setting without using any continues. Then highlight the Option mode on the title screen and use your second controller and hold L1,L2,R1,R2,Start, and Select. Then you'll see the comic strip.
