"Driver 2- Any More Real and You Might as Well be Doing it for Real!"

Ah, yes, a new game has arrived on the shelves. Bet you're wondering if it's really worth it to drag yourself all the way to the store to buy, (or rent) it. Well, my friends, here's the one two on Driver 2.

Graphics: 10/10 This game has some of the best graphics you can get out there. Sure, with all these new systems being introduced I'm sure such graphics will soon be outdone. However, Driver 2 still does have some great graphics! The cars look excellent, some of the best digital autos out there, and the scenery is not too shabby, either. If and when your car gets damaged, you can sure tell! The damage that can be done to these poor cars is amazing! These people must have some nasty bills to pay when their finished with those cars. The buildings and trees could convince almost anyone that they were actually standing, (or driving) there seeing them for real. Every now and then it can be known to have a glitch that will most likely lead you to restart the game, but it makes up for it elsewhere. All in all, everything on the game looks just about as good as it can possibly get.

Sound Affects+Music: 8/10 With all that roaring of the engine and the crashing of cars, the sound affects had better be good. And no worries there, because they're everything but bad! When slamming into another auto, the sound/s of destruction being brought to a digital driver's car can be heard loud and clear. You'd be amazed at how real everything sounds. From the sound of your door slamming shut as you abandon your car to the vroom of the radical engine beneath the hood, you won't find such entertaining sound affects anywhere else. The one thing that I'm really pleased with is the verity of horns on the verity of cars, (or trucks.) There's the thundering horn of a fire truck or bus, or the interesting honk of your little car. The music is also rather enjoyable. You can enjoy different tunes in different cities, day or night!

Gameplay: 9/10 It's quite fun, the whole hop out of your car and steal another guy's idea. Although, it does have some downfalls. You can't get in cop cars, unless they're parked, and you must usually stop a car before you may enter it. The ''Undercover'' version of the game is much easier to handle that that of the original Driver. You can start faster, and easier, and the story, although mostly the same as before, seems to be much more interesting. But, there's more to choose from that just the Undercover game, such as Survival, (nothing to do with a tropical island) Cross Town Checkpoint, Dirt Track, and my personal favorite: Take a Ride. All of which are fun, and easy. Survival may be a little difficult for the beginners, but after a while, you get used to it. And, if you still can't get the hang of it, you can always select your cop difficulty. :)

Replayability: 8/10 When you first get the game, If you get it at all, you'll probably have a blast with all the wonderfully fun new stuff. But, after about a month or two, you'll look for something else to do for a while, giving you time to get away from the fast lane. After a week or two, however, you'll be ready to come back and have some more fun with this incredible game!

Other Great Changes That Make Driver 2 the Best Game of the Year: The cars- On the original Driver, you were forced to use the same car in the same city, no freedom whatsoever! well, with Driver 2, you have the selection of about four different cars per city! Also, unlike the original Driver, where you saw the same type of car pass you an uncounted number of times, Driver two gives you the four different cars in different colors too!

Buy or Rent?: I'd have to go with buy. Although some of you out there may disagree with me, I think that this game is one you must own!
