8.07.97 RGB FOR SONY PLAYSTATION SCPH-5501 only!

Note: Older models or newer models are not tested and if connected to RGB sync
to Chip Pin 10 the picture may fade to black. If this happens connect RGB Sync
after the 22k resistor spot on IC Video Chip Pin 10.
Before you solder, turn off the PS!

Open the Playstation and flip main PCB vertically down (so that
A/V port is facing you and where joyports were, so it is now on the bottom
LEFT).

With the A/V port STILL facing you and where joyports were, so it is now on the
bottom LEFT). The IC Video chip is on the surface of the PCB above the A/V port
pins and on the Top row of the Chip are the pins..3rd one from the Left is Pin
10!!

10TH PIN IS RGB SYNC!! Solder at the small round test point spot next to PIN 10.
You can test the RGB Sync before soldering while the system is ON to see if you
got it right. Even without the CD drive installed.
Becarefull.. Power is on.. you could get a nice shock from the power supply
area! I know I did..Now watch and be amazed on how RGB is in Sync and
Beautiful!!
