How can i level up quickly?

People tell me to kill that don tonberry thing. But it only gives me 16k experience. I try to kill the cactus king, but it's just too damn hard. Is there any other ways to get fast exp, the easy way?

You're doing the Don Tonberry wrong.

Answer

Get a weapon with the ability Overdrive -> AP, this way whenever your Overdrive gauge is supposed to fill, it'll be replaced with AP. Combining this with Double or Triple AP will give you the quick level ups you desire.
