There is a Hardware Board on this site for the PlayStation 2. Go to that forum and check the Answers section of that board for information of the type you seek.

URL: www.gamefaqs.com/ps2/197344-final-fantasy-x/answers?qid=287545

You could also post your question to that board and see what kind of response you get.

Here is the response to the posted question "Game saves off this site?" that may present information useful to you.

"Check the file description of the save file you've just downloaded. It may require a specific cheat device and it's USB dongle to copy from your computer to your PS2. Use the cheat device software on your computer to copy from your computer's hard drive to the USB dongle, then, with the cheat device disc in the PS2, plug the USB dongle into one of the USB ports of the PS2 and follow the instructions on the cheat device to copy and convert the save file into a filetype that is native to the PS2 memory card."

And a response to the posted question "How to get Savegames to my memorycard?" that provides further elaboration

"You need 3rd party software like ARMax / CodeBreaker and a compatible USB drive. CodeBreaker is better but is unable to use USB functions (save transfer included) on model 75000+ slim PS2s. ARMax works on any system but has a memory card corruption glitch in the save transfer software."
