Hello! You may post this FAQ on your web page so long as you keep it in its
original form without editing it. Please check at www.gamefaqs.com for the
most recent update.

to put "FAQ" in the message Subject, or I might not know it's you! Make sure
to put "FAQ" in the message Subject, or I might not know it's you! Thanks.
Now, on to the actual FAQ!
This FAQ lists every single Dream Stone in the entire game, for your reading
pleasure. Note that collecting 150 or more Dream Stones in any given level
will unlock an additional picture on the Scrapbook at the Momett House.
Many levels do not actually have 150 Dream Stones in them, however. The way
you get more than 150 Dream Stones in these levels is by collecting a certain
number of Dream Stones while under the influence of the Dream Stone Fairy - the
strange, blue-coloured fairy creature in some bubbles. When you collect Dream
Stones under the Dream Stone Fairy's influence, you gain twice as many Dream
Stones. So, picking up a green Dream Stone will increase your total by two
instead of one.
Be warned that from the moment you break the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble, you
have a limited amount of time to collect Dream Stones while under its influence
because it will disappear in a few seconds!
Notice that there are two kinds of Dream Stones. Green ones are the ordinary
ones you'll find, and they raise your Dream Stone total by one point. There's
one other kind, which is the rare BLUE Dream Stones. They're worth five usual
Dream Stones, so they're very useful to get.
Whenever you collect 100 Dream Stones, you gain an extra life. This is very
useful, if you take into account the useful trick which I'm about to tell you.

Useful Trick: Whenever you die, you return to the last Memory Clock used.
useful part, is that your Dream Stone total reverts to what it was at the
Memory Clock. Your dream stone total for the level reverts, too. So, if you
miss a couple of Dream Stones that you can't go back and get, simply die.
Despite the fact that you lose a life, you'll get a second chance to get those
Dream Stones. This is especially useful in the boarding stages.
An additional useful trick is that if you have a total of 99 Dream Stones at
a clock, you'll get an extra life the next time you collect a Dream Stone. If
you then die, you'll lose that life, and be back at 99 Dream Stones. This lets
you have infinite attempts at a section, provided you can get at least one
Dream Stone before you die. So if you time your Dream Stone total just right,
you can attempt difficult sections infinitely by collecting enough for an extra
life, and then dying if you've missed any Dream Stones. Again, very useful for
boarding levels.

| |_ This indicates the different kinds of Dream Stones (BLUE or green)
| Note that if this is missing, the Dream Stones are green
|_ This indicates the number of Dream Stones in the group

THE ASTERISK (STAR):
This asterisk indicates that a Dream Stone can (and should) be picked up only
when you're under the influence of the Dream Stone Fairy.
If the asterisk appears on its own, after a line, it means that those Dream
Stones *MUST* be picked up during the time you have with the Dream Stone Fairy,
or you will not be able to get 150 Dream Stones in that level.
If the asterisk appears in parenthesis (*), it means that those Dream Stones
can make up for any other missed Dream Stones in the entire level - they count
as extra Dream Stones, if you manage to get them while under the influence of
the Dream Stone Fairy.
For example, the last three green Dreamstones in the Sea of Tears AREA 4 are
quite difficult to reach while still under the Dream Stone Fairy's influence.
If you don't get them while with the Dream Stone Fairy, but collect every other
Dream Stone in the level, you will have 150 Dream Stones at the end. However,
if you happened to miss a Dream Stone earlier in the level, such as while on
the bird, you can collect these three Dream Stones in order to make up for the
ones you missed.
It is because of these 'extra' Dream Stones that the maximum Dream Stones for
some levels is higher than 150.

ENEMY DESCRIPTIONS:
Don't know what enemy I'm talking about? Here's a brief description of the
enemies I name, in no particular order:

MOO - oh, come on...
ZOMBIE MOO - it just looks different
BATTLE MOO - it just looks different
BOARDING MOO - I guess it got 'bored', he?
ARMORED MOO - takes an extra hit to kill, compared to ordinary Moo
SUPER-ARMORED MOO - takes an extra hit to kill, compared to Armored Moo
GIANT MOO - Wind Bullets only stun it, but they drop Dream Stones when fallen
GIANT ZOMBIE MOO - same as the Zombie-variety ordinary Moo, but bigger...
GIANT ARMORED MOO - takes two hits, but otherwise is just a shiny Giant Moo
GIANT SUPER-ARMORED MOO - takes three hits, but is just a flashy Giant Moo
FLYING MOO - it's a special variety
SHIELD MOO - can only be hit from the back
BLACK SHIELD MOO - it's a different colour?
JUMPING MOO - it hops around and that's about it
JUMPING SHIELD MOO - it hops around and can only be hit from the back
HORNAMOO - flamboyantly-coloured Moo that throws boomerang-like spikes at you
SPINDLE - creatures that can only be attacked from above
GIANT SPINDLE - they're just like Spindles, but bigger... and maybe tastier?
BUGON - purple bugs that fall down on you, but I think they must be blind...
FLACKANNON - they shoot at you, and are otherwise uninteresting
DIGON - the giant purple fish that are invulnerable
SPIKER - those black spikes that you cannot defeat
OW-GOW - invulnerable, easily-distracted eel-like creatures that live in caves
RUNNER - reddish creatures that run mindlessly around
KITON - the green and blue helicopter enemy that Tat introduces you to
LIKURI - yellow fish-things that absorb other enemies to break crystals... odd
BOOMIE - living explosives... what's the point? Oh well...
CLOCKWORK PROPELLER - don't know what else to call 'em, but they make you go up
WEIRD PLANT-RABBITS - throw spike-balls at you, but I never refer to them...
FIREBALL CAT - I don't know what they are, but they're like racoons with fire?

SEA OF TEARS (TOTAL = 135) [AREA COUNT: 5]
*15 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 153

~The Encounter~

This is the first level of the game, so it's no surprise that it isn't very
difficult to get all of the Dream Stones. There is, however, one tricky part.
While riding the bird, be sure to press 'down' to slow the bird down, so you
can get all of the Dream Stones while riding its back.
You can miss up to three while on the bird's back, however. To get all of
the Dream Stones near the Dream Stone Fairy, go back to AREA 3 and pick up a
Jumping Moo. Get close to the first Dream Stone in AREA 4, and then shoot the
Moo to the left to pop open the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble. As soon as it pops
you have to rush to the right, grabbing the four green and one BLUE Dream Stone
as you run across the bridge, then the two groups of two just past the bridge.
If you're fast, you can grab the Moo that's waiting for you there, and move
slightly to the left, and double-jump up. This will get you three more green
Dream Stones while under the Dream Stone Fairy's influence, which is why the
maximum Dream Stones for this area is 153.

MAXIMUM: 150

~Sacred Grounds~

Getting all the Dream Stones in this level is even easier than getting them
all in the first level, except for one thing. The area with the Dream Stone
Fairy is somewhat convoluted, and if you're just running through without trying
to get all of the Dream Stones, you may get some of the ones you must get with
the Dream Stone Fairy before you even know there's one there!
Here's a set of instructions so you know what to do in AREA 6.
Without collecting any Dream Stones, grab the Shield Moo at the start of the
AREA and springboard up to the second level. Double-jump into the blue
whirlwind here, at the same time breaking open the Memory Clock (optional).
Now, grab the green grapple and jump up to where the four Dream Stones are
along with a Moo and the Dream Stone Fairy. Leave the Moo and walk over to the
Dream Stone Fairy without getting any Dream Stones yet. You'll have to hop
over the Moo, so be careful not to get those Dream Stones!
Break open the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble, and then immediately run to the
left and grab the Moo along with the four Dream Stones.
Fall down to the left, collecting the three green Dream Stones on the way,
and then run to the right, into the springboard. You'll jump up. Use the Moo
you grabbed a moment ago to double-jump up, collecting the four green Dream
Stones and the final BLUE Dream Stone. There's your sixteen extra Dream Stones
that you needed!
There's no other oppurtunities for additiona Dream Stones, so the maximum for
this level is 150. There's no room for error! You've got to do it right!

JOILANT FUN PARK (TOTAL = 137) [AREA COUNT: 13]
* 13 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 159?

~A Date with Tat~

This level is filled with many small, one-screen sections that I've still
labeled as 'AREA's simply because they still cause the screen transitions I've
been using to discern AREA breaks. Many of these AREAs are devoid of any
Dream Stones, so take note. The Dream Stones in this level must all be
accounted for, but fortunately, they're all very easy to collect and most are
in plain sight. Just be sure to get them. If you're unaccustomed to using the
Kitons, you may want to stock up on extra lives so you can retry sections with
them again, in case you run out of flying time while over the water while you
try to get all of the Dream Stones in the air.
The Dream Stone Fairy at the start of this level, in AREA 1, is inside one
of the eggs in the background. There are six eggs, with one of them that may
be already gone due to the fact that it contains a Memory Doll piece. If you
already have that piece, note that the Dream Stone Fairy is in the left-hand
egg, and the BLUE Dream Stone is in the right-hand egg, of the upper row of
eggs.
To do this part well, simpy grab one of the two Moos that are nearby, and
hurl them into the background. Aim to open one of the two eggs containing the
BLUE Dream Stones first, and then break open the Dream Stone Fairy's egg. Then
just quickly grab the BLUE Dream Stone and another Moo, and break open the next
BLUE Dream Stone's egg, making sure to grab it before your time runs out. You
can open up the other two eggs to ensure you don't open the wrong one when you
need to. The lower-left egg contains a Double Heart, and the lower-right
one contains a 1-UP Coin.

Way at the end, in AREA 13, there is another Dream Stone Fairy. The only
reason getting the remaining Dream Stones under its influence would be hard is
because there's a few spike-headed people riding the rollercoaster while you're
on it! A good way to approach this problem is to stand just to the right of
the bubble containing the Dream Stone Fairy, and waiting for one of the
rollercoaster cars to go by. Sustain your jump, so you can clear the car, and
then break open the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble. Grab the three Dream Stones
to your right, then jump into the blue whirlwind to grab the next three and
jump to get the last green Dream Stone. You should make it this far without
interruption from a rollercoaster car. Now, jump to the right to grab the last
BLUE Dream Stone. There should be a rollercoaster car now, so jump over it,
and the level is yours!
The maximum for this level is 150 Dream Stones, so if you mess up, you're
best to just let one of the rollercoaster cars kill you so you can try again.

JUNGLE SLIDER (TOTAL = 137) [AREA COUNT: 5]
*13 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 153

~Raging Rapids~

I just love the boarding levels, don't you? Not when you've got to collect
every single Dream Stone, right? It's a pain on the boarding levels, since
you can't just backtrack any you missed. Fortunately, they're all, for the
most part, out in plain sight.
There's not really much advice I can give, except that whenever you see a
boarding Moo, grab it! You'll probably need it to double-jump to get some
Dream Stones. Also, note that you can hold back and towards to slow down and
speed up the board, respectively. You can use this to grab a couple Dream
Stones that you'd normally jump right past, or to speed up and grab a few
extra Dream Stones while under the Dream Stone Fairy's influence.
Speaking of the Dream Stone Fairy, remember that you don't have to fire a
wind bullet at any bubbles while on your board. Concentrate on staying on the
wooden ramp that all the Dream Stones are on, so you can get them all, and then
jump to grab that last BLUE Dream Stone. If you're particularly fast, you can
race ahead and grab the three more green Dream Stones that are just before the
jump, but you have to be careful of the Digons, as they will slow you down.
Because of those few extra Dream Stones, the maximum Dream Stone count for
this level is 153. Unless you're trying to get all 153, I'd suggest leaving
the three extra ones alone, since it's easier to try again and grab any you've
missed the first time than relying on the bonus ones to get you to reach 150.

~Bowels of the City~

This level can be a pain to get all of the Dream Stones in, since you can't
make any mistakes at all. Most of them are fairly obvious, however.
A special mention is the Dream Stone Fairy area, of course. This is hard to
do, so here's some instructions. Start by grabbing the Flying Moo and using it
to double-jump up to the first conveyor belt. Do not grab the Dream Stones
that are up here! Walk to the left, against the belt, and grab the second
Flying Moo. Then, walk back to the right and drop down, again without getting
any of the Dream Stones.
Now, use that Flying Moo to shoot to the left and break open the Dream Stone
Fairy's bubble. As soon as you shoot it, grab the original Flying Moo and use
it to double-jump up to the conveyor belt again. By the time you're there, the
Dream Stone Fairy will be released, so quickly hop and grab all three Dream
Stones and also the Flying Moo. Rush to the right, and double-jump over to the
other conveyor belt. Jump three times to the right to grab the other three
Dream Stones you need. You should have just enough time to do it.
The key was saving you a slight bit of time by using a different Moo to free
the Dream Stone Fairy. If you had used the original Flying Moo, you'd have to
wait a moment for the Flying Moo to respawn, which is precious time while you
rush to grab Dream Stones.
Because you have to be so exact, the Dream Stone total for this level is 150.

VOLK CITY (TOTAL = 135) [AREA COUNT: 6]
* 15 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 150

~Through the Crossfire~

This level seems as though it's very close to having 155 Dream Stones as its
maximum; however, I've never been able to get the BLUE Dream Stone on the slide
after the first Dream Stone Fairy.
Most Dream Stones in this level are right in your path, in the open. Just be
sure to take the optional background-section in AREA 1, and get both of the
Dream Stone Fairy parts correct.
Speaking of which, the first one is fairly easy. Break the bubble as you go
down the slide, and then jump to collect all five of the Dream Stones, also
jumping over the Armored Moos. The second one is also fairly easy to do right,
so long as you hurry. Pop the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble, and then rush along,
bouncing on the springboards and hopping down to the lower blue whirlwind.
It's very easy to get all of the Dream Stones in this level, since if you
make a mistake near the beginning, you can just select Retry, and the one-time
parts (that is, the parts with a Dream Stone Fairy) are all at the very start.
The maximum for this level is 150, so if you make a mistake early on, you're
best to retry the level.

VOLKAN INFERNO (TOTAL = 144) [AREA COUNT: 6]
* 6 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 150

~Imminent Danger~

This area is exactly like Volk City, except it isn't. The main trouble with
this level isn't in getting all of the Dream Stones, but in getting all the
Dream Stones with a dangerous instantly-defeating-you robot on your tail. You
have to be speedy and do everything right the first time.
In AREA 1, you can do the background section just like you did in Volk City.
However, I am fairly certain you cannot get the last two Dream Stones while
under the influence of the Dream Stone Fairy. Because of this, I've given the
maximum of 150 to this level. If these last two Dream Stones can be obtained
with the Dream Stone Fairy, then the maximum would be 152.

ISHRAS ARK (TOTAL = 129) [AREA COUNT: 9]
* 21 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 150

~On To Mira-Mira~

Ishras Ark is a very strange level, with you going back to places you've
already been after activating certain switches and levers and so on. For the
casual gamer, it's not all that confusing - you just go where you need to go.
This makes it difficult for purposes such as these, however, as I don't want to
call something a different AREA if it isn't actually one.
Most Dream Stones are in appropriate places for you to find, with the Dream
Stone Fairy's sections deserving another mention.
The first Dream Stone Fairy is off to the right after you use the Jetimo, so
be sure not to get any of the ten Dream Stones in this area. The trick is to
use the right-most springboard to jump up to the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble,
and then pop it. Hop down, and bounce to the left, grabbing the Flying Moo as
you go, and then spring to the left once again. Use the other spring here to
bounce up, using the previously-captured Flying Moo to double-jump and collect
all of the Dream Stones. Then grab the Flying Moo to the left, and use it and
the spring to collect the other five Dream Stones.
The next Dream Stone Fairy is surrounded by Dream Stones, and you have two
options. You can either pop the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble, and then grab all
six Dream Stones that surround it, and then use either the Flying Moo or the
sleeping Moo to break open the egg for the last BLUE Dream Stone, or you could
sneak a little to the right and use the sleeping Moo to break the egg open
first, and then sneak back to the left, pop the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble, and
grab all of the Dream Stones at once. Use whichever method you feel most
comfortable with.
A special note is the nine Dream Stones near the end of the level. When the
Flying Moo flies up to where you are, you're able to get them - that happens
after you start the final engine. You must jump out, grab the Flying Moo and
use it in mid-air to double-jump, and then extend your jump as far to the right
as possible. You should be able to reach the verticle line of nine Dream
Stones if you've jumped far enough out.
You must get everything perfectly right. There are only 150 Dream Stones to
be found in all of Ishras Ark.

  AREA 1 (TOTAL = 36)
3 in an arc just past springboard, use black Shield Moo to double-jump
10 (1 BLUE + 5 green) in a verticle line as you shoot up due to the Jetimo

  AREA 3 (SEE NOTE) (TOTAL = 7)
7 (1 BLUE + 2 green) above the ferris-wheel, use (Flying) Moo to double-jump
NOTE: AREA 5 is where you eventually wind up, the second time you come here

NOTE: AREA 3 is off to the side from AREA 2. You'll get there automatically,
but you can't do anything there except grab the Key at first. You return to
AREA 3 after you've started the first engine

  AREA 4 (SEE NOTE) (TOTAL = 0)

NOTE: AREA 4 is off from AREA 2. You'll get there automatically, after you get
the Key in AREA 3. Once you start the first engine here, you will return to
AREA 3 by passing through AREA 2 again. Now AREA 3's Dream Stones are
 accessible to you.

  AREA 5 (TOTAL = 33)

3 floating above the pink grapple
NOTE: AREA 7 is where you end up after this AREA is finished

  AREA 6 (SEE NOTE) (TOTAL = 0)

MTNS. OF MIRA-MIRA (TOTAL = 137) [AREA COUNT: 6]
* 13 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 156

~Alpine Wonderland~

Huzzah! My favorite level in the game has the highest total Dream Stones so
far! That's right, 156 total! There's not much to say about this level,
except that to reach the area with the first Dream Stone Fairy, you have to
grab a Flying Moo in AREA 5 and use it to get to the cannon. Getting all five
Dream Stones while with that Fairy is easy.
Also, AREA 2 can be a huge pain, since it's hard to tell which way is up.
If you miss some, remember to jump over the Memory Clock in the next area, and
then die by falling down into the abyss. That'll let you start over from the
Memory Clock by the cannon to AREA 2, instead, giving you another chance.
The final Dream Stone Fairy is tough to get all of the Dream Stones with, but
you can skip a lot if you manage to get the last five Dream Stones in the level
while with the Dream Stone Fairy.
This level has the best music, especially neat when you enter a tunnel and it
gets all those echo sounds! Because it's such a great level, you can get a
total of 156 Dream Stones in this level. Relax a little for once!

MAZE OF MEMORIES (TOTAL = 127) [AREA COUNT: 16]
* 23 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 150

~Labyrinth of Illusions~

Wow, this level sure has a lot of AREAs! However, the last four or so are
really just one glorified AREA, and there's lots of small AREAs here that don't
have a single Dream Stone in them.
Once you can navigate the level, it's not so bad. When you encounter the
first Dream Stone Fairy, be sure to defeat the Spindle and then pop the Dream
Stone Fairy's bubble, to ensure you get the Dream Stones in time.
The second Dream Stone Fairy is a little tough. When you jump up towards the
blue whirlwind, don't aim for the blue whirlwind. Aim for just below it, so
you can grab the Flying Moo before you enter the whirlwind. Now you can use
the Flying Moo to double-jump to the next platform, letting you grab another
Flying Moo to double-jump to the left to where the other three Dream Stones you
need are.
There's no room for error in this confusing level, so keep your wits about
you and practice the level a few times if you find yourself getting lost or
stuck at some of the puzzles. I've noted which door leads to which AREA in
this level, to help.

NOXIOUS LA-LAKOOSHA (TOTAL = 142) [AREA COUNT: 7]
* 8 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 154

~The Catastrophe~

This level is very easy, so long as you're good at the level. All of the
Dream Stones are right in front of you, so you're really only being tested on
your ability to get them, which is not particularly difficult and might need
some tricky jumping work to get at, but nothing exceedingly difficult.
If you refuse to get the three Dream Stones by the spring where the Dream
Stone Fairy is, you will have to get one of the two Dream Stones slightly to
the side in order to get up to where the Dream Stone Fairy is, once you've got
the Erbil in your hand. Then, use the Dream Stone Fairy along with the Kiton
to collect the eight you have to get, and then throw away the Kiton and drop
down to where the spring is, getting all three Dream Stones you put off getting
before. Then spring up and to the left, and pick up that one last Dream Stone
you didn't get.
If you can somehow manage to get up to where the Dream Stone Fairy is without
getting one of the two Dream Stones slightly to the left, then the maximum is
actually 155, but I found that I could only choose to leave the leftmost one,
or the rightmost one, of those two, and could not avoid getting both unless I
got some of the three above the spring.
A tip to help you out is that you should only use the Memory Clock here once
you've hopped up to the right without getting any of those three Dream Stones.
Then you only have to worry about getting back up there once you have the Erbil
without getting too many Dream Stones. Also, remember that those are optional
Dream Stones, and you can get 150 without worrying about them and just getting
the eight you were intended to get.

DARK SEA OF TEARS (TOTAL = 139) [AREA COUNT: 5]
* 11 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 150

~Veil of Darkness~

Despite this level being the most difficult so far, it's also blatantly
obvious where all of the Dream Stones are because, unlike the rest of the level
and the enemies, they are still lit-up even when they are far away from Klonoa.
Use this to your advantage to scout out the Dream Stones, and use all of the
tools available to you to get them all. Notice that there is no room for error
on this level, you must ensure you get every Dream Stone and complete the part
with the Dream Stone Fairy correctly.
Do this by grabbing a Moo from an earlier section and taking it to where the
Flying Moo and the bubble with the Dream Stone Fairy is. Shoot the Dream Stone
Fairy's bubble with the Moo, and then grab the Flying Moo. This head-start
will allow you to get all five of the Dream Stones above the rotating drum, and
give you time to rush to the right and grab the other Flying Moo, which you use
to double-jump up to the next six Dream Stones on the path before the Dream
Stone Fairy runs out.
The layout is almost exactly the same as Sea of Tears, anyway, so you should
not have too much trouble. The only difficulty is with the dark motes that
surround you if you wait too long between firefly spirits. Get a hang on the
level before you try to get all 150 Dream Stones, if you're worried too much
about it.
It is also important to ensure you get all twelve Dream Stones on the slide
at the end. There's no turning back at that point, and it's such a waste to do
the entire level over again because you missed one at the end and couldn't use
the 'die and restart at last Memory Clock' trick to get them all...

EMPTY SEA OF TEARS (TOTAL = 140) [AREA COUNT: 5]
* 10 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 154 (156?)

~Beyond the Sands~

Unless my counting is wrong, if you manage to get all six of the Dream Stones
while you're getting the rest of the Dream Stones with the Dream Stone Fairy,
you'll have a total of 156 Dream Stones. I thought I had got all of them while
still under the Dream Stone Fairy's influence, and I had a total of 154, so
perhaps you can't quite get the last two, or I've miscounted somewhere else...
This level is a lot of fun, and it's rather small. Small AREA-wise, anyway.
Each area is huge, and they have large amounts of green Dream Stones that you
have to follow. Just keep it up, and remember that you can slow down by
holding back.
A tip for the Dream Stone Fairy section: Just hold right! You'll plow right
through the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble, automatically hop down to get the three
Dream Stones on the next platform, and then hop down, miraculously avoiding the
Spiker, to get the lone Dream Stone! Then you'll hop onto the main path again,
where you must grab one of the boarding Moos, which will let you double-jump up
to collect the other six Dream Stones you need. You'll save so much time, you
can even get some of the other Dream Stones that are just after, too!
Good luck with it. Bring a lot of extra lives, and abuse the trick that lets
you continue from the last Memory Clock if you die, and purposefullly kill
yourself without ringing the next Memory Clock if you miss some Dream Stones.

THE ARK REVISITED (TOTAL = 140) [AREA COUNT: 12]
* 10 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 155

~Countdown~

I hate this level, but it's relatively simple, as you really have no choice
in your way to go. There's a huge room for error, here, since you can get a
whole extra five Dream Stones from the Dream Stone Fairy, but that's no reason
to slack off! It's a tough thing to do, so you may be better off just getting
the ten that you need, and leaving the other five to collect normally.
You can collect 15 Dream Stones while under the influence of the Dream Stone
Fairy. It's fairly simple, but you have to manipulate the switch that changes
the lift position.
Start out with the lift down, and then throw one of the Boomies into the
spot with the switch. Remember, don't get any of the Dream Stones yet, and do
not pop the bubble with the Dream Stone Fairy in it!
Now, after a short period of time, grab the other Boomie and hop onto the
lift. You're taken up. Don't collect the Dream Stones here, either! Use the
Boomie to break open the egg here, which will release a BLUE Dream Stone. Do
not get it yet. Jump back down to where the Boomies are, making sure to not
get any Dream Stones yet. Now, set the lift back so it's down again, and toss
a Boomie in the background just like before. And, just like before, when the
Boomie is nearly ready to pop, grab the other Boomie and ride the lift up.
Now, jump to the left and double-jump with the Boomie. The Boomie will be
sent downward, and will pop the Dream Stone Fairy's bubble! If you sustain
your jump, you can wait until just the right time to drop down on the five
Dream Stones that are just to your right. You can drop as soon as the bubble
pops. Then, grab the BLUE Dream Stone, and jump down to the left and collect
the remaining five Dream Stones.

KINGDOM OF SORROW (TOTAL = 116) [AREA COUNT: 11]
* 34 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 153

~Where Sunsets Dream~

The final ordinary level of the game isn't particularly difficult to collect
all of the Dream Stones in, but it'd be a good thing to bring along a lot of
extra lives, since it's very easy to accidentally miss a couple, especially
during the Dream Stone Fairy sections and during the moving-platform sections.
The first Dream Stone Fairy pits you gainst two Armored Moos (one twice as
armored as the other) and a Flying Moo. My advice is to get both of the Moos
naked, and then stun them with Wind Bullets so that one is just to the right
and one is just to the left, of the section in the middle where the Flying Moo
appears.
Use the Flying Moo to defeat the one on the right, and then pop the Dream
Stone Fairy's bubble and grab the Dream Stones. Jump up and grab the Flying
Moo once again, and toss it to the side at the other Moo, running across to
grab the Dream Stones as quickly as you can.
If you're fast at the next Dream Stone Fairy, you can collect a whole extra
five Dream Stones, by managing to get the BLUE Dream Stone in the blue
whirlwind by the large Spiker. If not, you'll still get by - just barely.
Take your time on the automatic-scrolling levels. Pretend they're a boarding
level, and you may do just fine. If not, just plug at it, and either abuse
the infinite-attempts trick, or bring a lot of lives!

THE FORGOTTEN PATH (TOTAL = 150) [AREA COUNT: 3]
* Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 150

~Deliverance~

This is an awesome level! It is the ultimate test of your skills in boarding
and requires you to collect every single Dream Stone in the entire level - and
there's no Dream Stone Fairy in this one! The single level without a Dream
Stone Fairy... It's somewhat exciting! That, along with the fact that this
level is a measly three AREAs, and nearly every Dream Stone you collect will be
a BLUE one, this level is unique in many ways. It shares some characteristics
with other boarding levels, including a looping section, skinny pathways, lots
of jumps, and little room for error.
If you do not bring a number of lives to this level, you may run out. It's
actually easier to just start again from the beginning, since it's really quite
a short level - it's just a difficult one.
If you have trouble getting lined up with the next Dream Stone, you could
remember that you can hold back and slow yourself down. This helps a lot, and
you can spend most of the level holding back and moving at a casual pace. Only
when the winged Dream Stones appear (why do they have wings, anyway?) do you
have to high-tail it and grab them before they get away from you.
There are exactly 150 Dream Stones in this level, no more, no less. The lack
of a Dream Stone Fairy simply sets this level's maximum in stone - it's the
same as the total number of Dream Stones, of course!

CHAMBER O'FUN (TOTAL = 145) [AREA COUNT: 4]
*5 Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 150

~Klonoa's Whirlwind Challenge~

Huzzuh! A super-fun level! Unfortunately, when your goal is to collect each
and every Dream Stone, it suddenly becomes not quite so fun. In fact, it can
be extremely difficult. You may want to consider using Popka to help you.
However, you must be sure to remember that using Popka at all while you are in
the Chamber o'Fun will stop the timer from being counted for that run!
A couple of tips. First of all, the very first BLUE Dream Stone is a huge
pain to get. You have to double-jump off of the third green grapple as soon as
you grab onto it, and you must grab onto it as high as you can. Then, you can
just barely get the BLUE Dream Stone. I suggest that you try to get this BLUE
Dream Stone first, and then, after that, pop the Memory Clock's bubble. You
don't want to get this one more than once. Now, far to the right of AREA 1,
there are Flying Moos and an Erbil. To get the three BLUE Dream Stones above
them, you should use the Erbil to zap yourself as high up as you can and grab
the lower Flying Moo on your way up. Now, you'll have a Flying Moo in your
hands at a higher height than usual, so you can double-jump up with it, to grab
the other Flying Moo. Then you can use it immediately to double-jump up again,
and grab the three BLUE Dream Stones (of course, if you're using Popka already,
you could always just use his help). You can use this same method to grab a
Flying Moo for you to use to get the BLUE Dream Stones near the upper-right of
this AREA.
You have to be good with using Kitons to get the few extra Dream Stones from
the Dream Stone Fairy. There's only five to get, but if you mess up, you'll
end up landing in the water when you run out of time with the Kiton. Just be
careful with it, and don't worry about the life losses, because you don't ever
actually lose a life while in the Chamber o'Fun!
In AREA 2, the BLUE Dream Stone just by the four Flying Moo is a huge, huge
pain to get. You have to grab the topmost Flying Moo from nearly above it,
and then immediately use it to double-jump up and to the left. The best way,
I've found, to grab the Flying Moo from the right height, is to actually fall
down to it from the platform above. Just use your 'extended jump' when you're
just barely above it, and you'll be able to grab it just right, then.
My best time while still collecting all 150 Dream Stones (no Popka): 3'32"20
I'm sure I could beat it if I really tried to... Try to beat it!

CHAMBER O'HORRORS (TOTAL = ) [AREA COUNT: 7]
* Dream Stones must be grabbed while with the Dream Stone Fairy
MAXIMUM: 150

~Klonoa's Hurricane Challenge~

A more annoying level, there is not. It isn't as fun as the last few story
levels, and it's more difficult, too. I'll start with the puzzles with the
Likuri, since they're everywhere here. Surprisingly, the Dream Stone Fairy
makes only a minor appearance, with Flying Moos and Likuri taking all credit.

AREA 2: To get the Likuri powered up, here's an easy way. First, grab it.
Now, double-jump over the Moo. Grab the Flying Moo while the Likuri is getting
the power, and then jump over to the left, and sustain your jump beneath the
other Flying Moo. When the Likuri gets back to you, it will automatically get
the Flying Moo just above you. Now, run over to the crystal. Yes, you can't
quite destroy it yet, but you can stand on the edge of the crystal, letting you
jump up and hit the Flying Moo with your Likuri. There you go, red Likuri!
To get the Likuri up to the ledge, you have to be a bit sneakier. First, grab
the Likuri and double-jump over the Moo. Then, grab the Flying Moo and use it
to double-jump straight up. As soon as the Likuri returns to you, double-jump
with it. It'll catch the Flying Moo as it regenerates! As soon as you jump,
pull a hard left and grab the clockwork propeller enemy, and then push right.
Hopefully, by the time the Likuri returns to you, you'll be above the ledge.
To get the ones just above the clockwork propeller enemy, you have to grab the
clockwork propeller enemy from as high as you can. Just keep trying at it, or
grab a friend and use Popka.

AREA 4: Keep jumping between the Likuri and the Flying Moo two to the right,
using the Likuri's double-jump as close to the right as you can, to let it get
Flying Moo. Once that happens, high-tail it to the right so you can get into
the wind gusts before the Likuri returns to you. From there, you can fall
and then lean back into the wind gusts to control your height, and then just
throw the Likuri to the left in order to power it up from the Flying Moo. The
Dream Stone Fairy in the unlocked area is easy to get all the Dream Stones with
so long as you're good with Erbils, as you have to go from one Erbil to the
next fairly quickly.

AREA 5: In this AREA, it is easiest to get the Likuri blue by the time you
reach the spot with two Flying Moo next to you and without using the Moo just
to your right. Simply throw the Likuri at one of the Flying Moo, and then
double-jump with the Moo behind you. The Likuri will return to you in mid-air,
which will allow you to throw it at a slightly higher height - that is, where
the crystal blocks your path to the extra Dream Stones.

AREA 6: You can jump from the right-hand green grapple to the upper one if
you grab it just right, giving you more margin for error when trying to get up
there while the Likuri is absorbing the Flying Moo. Once up on the ledge, toss
the Likuri to the right to catch the rightmost Flying Moo, and quickly grab the
Moo on the ledge and double-jump with it over to the nearer Flying Moo. When
the Likuri returns to you, you can now get it to snag that last needed enemy.

AREA 7: Work your way slowly, killing the Giant Moo first, and making sure to
collect all of the Dream Stones from it, and then killing the Giant Spindle.
The Giant Armored Moo can be defeated by getting the Likuri to where you had
defeated the Giant Spindle, and then tossing it at the left Flying Moo, using
the right Flying Moo to double-jump up to the green grapples, and to a height
where you can toss the Likuri at the Armored Moo without problem. Don't forget
the Dream Stones near the end of the stage, up in the tower. Use the Jetimo.

The Scrapbook! It can be found as soon as you have access to the Momett
House, which is after you clear Joilant Plaza (and beat Leptio the Flower Clown
as well). The Scrapbook comes with one picture in it, and you earn 18 more for
each level you get 150 or more Dream Stones in. The order you clear each level
is unimportant - Picture #5 will be obtained when you've got 150 or more Dream
Stones in four levels, no matter which ones they are.

When you get every Scrapbook picture, Momett says something different!
Before: How about a masterpiece for each vision you collect
more than 150 Dream Stones in?
After: Wow! You've got them all! Why don't you enjoy the fruit
       of your labors!
