If you need to find something quickly, press and hold CTRL (Control), then

much faster than scrolling through entire guide.

For your convenience I've inserted special search codes near every section to
help you easily hop on to that section by using search code provided. Each
search code will appear only twice in whole guide - thus getting stray hits
will be impossible.

W | cloudy, rain, heavy rain
C | After you reach Eruyt Village and are tasked with recovering lost

       | weather for one (1) gameplay hour.
       | Additionally, while Giza Plains is in rainy season, you can change the
       | weather while zoning between sub-areas *within* Giza Plains.
       | Cloudy - there will be clouds in the sky
       | Rain - there will be clouds in the sky, medium rainfall*1

C | Whenever you enter Dalmasca Westersand via GCR or Strahl, or by coming
       | from Rabanastre, Zertinan Caverns, Giza Plains (good shot at
       | sandstorm), Dalmasca Estersand (good shot at sunny), or Ogir-Yensa
       | Sandsea (good shot at cloudy), the weather will be sunny *or* cloudy
       | *or* sandstorm.
       | Killing Earth Tyrant will significantly reduce the chances for

       | *2 Dalmasca Westersand / Windtrace Dunes (Ring Wyrm)
  NOTE | McKenna comments:
       | When you describe the weather in the Dalmasca Westersand, you mention
       | that entering the Westersand from the Giza Plains gives you a good
       | shot at getting the sandstorm weather condition, but I've noticed that
       | at least in my games, I've only ever been able (after Earth Tyrant,
       | anyway) to get the sandstorm weather condition in the Westersand when
       | I enter from Giza Plains during Rains. I just finished a full cycle of
       | Rains to Dry back to Rains in the Giza Plains, zoning to the
       | Westersand and back the entire time, and I didn't get the sandstorm
       | condition in the Westersand a single time during the Dry - on the
       | other hand, when it went back to Rains, I got the sandstorm on my
       | first try, and tend to get it at least once or twice out of every
       | three tries.

     W | fog, heavy fog
C | Whenever you enter Giruvegan via GCR (good shot at fog or heavy fog),
       | or by coming from Feywood, the weather will be fog *or* heavy fog.
       | It was difficult for me to tell what kind of weather you have until I
       | found out a place where I can easily tell. For that, you need to enter
       | [Giruvegan / The Trimahla Water-Steps]. As soon as you pop out of 'Way
       | Stone', turn around and face the big bright circle on the 'ceiling'.
       | Observe the Mist circulating thru the surroundings - if there's a lot
       | of apparitions that reflect exactly what's on your screen at the time
       | (it's difficult to describe, but you'll know what I'm talking about
       | once you experience it), you have heavy fog weather; the apparitions
       | show up fairly frequently, sometimes even two at once. If there's not
       | a lot of apparitions to be seen, you have fog weather. Now it's
       | possible that I am wrong in this, but so far my conclusion has never
       | left me down. Whenever I spotted high amount of apparitions, I was
       | able to find Diakon Entite in the area.
       | Fog - heavy Mist circulation can be seen, low amount of apparitions
       | Heavy fog - heavy Mist circulation can be seen, high amount of
       | apparitions*1

C | Whenever you enter Nabreus Deadlands via GCR (good shot at fog or
       | heavy fog), or by coming from Salikawood, or Necrohol of Nabudis, the
       | weather will be fog *or* heavy fog. Sunny weather can be only on two
       | places: [Hope's Reach] and a part of [Overlooking Eternity]. The rest
       | of sub-areas have fog or heavy fog weather.
       | Additionally, while Nabreus Deadlands is in fog/heavy fog mood, you
       | can change the weather while zoning between sub-areas *within* Nabreus
       | Deadlands.
       | Sunny - sky is bluish, sun can be seen, clouds here and there
       | Fog - fog is seen drifting thru the air, you can see fairly far
       | Heavy fog - fog is seen drifting thru the air, your view is severely
       | obstructed*1

Send your comments, ideas for improvements, additional info, correction of
mistakes I may have made, and anything else via e-mail at:

lifearmor (at) gmail (dot) com

I need to put down a few guidelines.
- as a subject of e-mail please include Final Fantasy XII, or FFXII
- please make your e-mail be readable, ie do not send me e-mails that are
written badly or in some strange gibberish
- don't ask me to send you updated versions of my guide, because I won't
- *make sure* to check if your question is already answered within these pages;
I may reply to one of your questions, but if you'll persevere in asking more
questions which are answered in my guide, I'll simply direct you to my guide
- I accept e-mails in English, German, Croatian and Slovenian language
- I will answer the e-mails in English, Croatian or Slovenian language; I can
read and understand German well, but my writing skills of German have rusted,
therefore I will answer such e-mails in English
- when crediting contributors, I won't disclose their e-mails
- finally, treat me as you'd like me to treat you
