SHAUN PALMER SECRETS
This is probably the most complete guide to the PAL version of SHAUN
PALMER'S PRO SNOWBOARDER for the PS2 that you will find online.
I have completed the game wiith every snowboarder, including two secret
characters, and have to my knowledge unlocked all the game's secrets
except one remaining MOVIE. This will probably turn out to be a clip
called PRO BAILS 2 and might open when all the level GAPS have been
cleared (a bit like in DAVE MIRRA BMX games). The GAP CHECKLIST can be
found in the game's OPTIONS menu.

FAQs
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW DO I BONK?
Many of the challenges in SHAUN PALMER'S PRO SNOWBOARDER depend on the
player's ability to BONK. 'Bonking' is hitting an object with your
snowboard while jumping over it. To bonk an object, press X (to jump)
then Down + X when over the object.
BONKING TIPS
Timing is everything but the game is a little forgiving and will allow
you to bonk an object if you are off a little to the left or right.
When you get stuck on a level, it's a good idea to try bonking cars,
snowmobiles, snowploughs and the boxes immediately in front of snow
cannons or lighting cables.

HOW TO BEAT THE BOARDER, PRO AND SICK SCORES
Most players favour either air tricks or lip tricks. I prefer the
latter. There are lots more places to do spectacular air tricks than
lip tricks, especially on later levels. However, to get sick scores you
need to use the special tricks of each character and land the trick
with a Revert and a Manual in order to multiply your score.
A far easier method, for me at any rate, is to find a good little half-
pipe on the level and then combine a series of tricks as follows.
Perform a hand plant on one edge, hit Revert ( L2 or R2) as you drop
back into the pipe , go immediately into a Manual ( press UP + DOWN or
DOWN + UP) and then repeat this process on the opposite edge of the
half-pipe. Your balance stats should be good enough to repeat this
process 10 to 20 times before you risk losing the scores by bailing.
With practice you can combine tricks in this way indefiniitely. I've
had up to 50 combinations in a single trick many times, however I
usually do around 30, land it and then start a new run. Variation in
the kind of hand plants you perform will increase your score. Certain
half pipe locations will give you extra points, such as the secret one
hidden in the warehouse with the Secret Sponsor on SQUAW VALLEY or the
half pipe after the third kicker at the start of GOTCHA GLACIER (the
one under the first GOTCHA logo).
WHERE SHOULD I ADD MY STAT POINTS?
When you earn STAT POINTS, it is advisable to use them to boost your
OLLIE bar first. More than any ability, this is the one you need to use
early on, closely followed by SPEED. You will earn enough STAT POINTS
to boost your other skills before you reach those trickier later levels
SECRET CHARACTERS
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------
There are two secret characters, these are unlocked when you have
completed the game with several of the original characters. They are:
ROOFTOP
Goofy stance, D.O.B. 8/8/77, Home Town: Long Beach, CA
Special Tricks: Hand Manual; One-Footed Handplant.
CORY NASTAZIO
Goofy stance, D.O.B. 5/11/78, Home Town: Santa Anna, CA
Special Tricks: BS 1080 One-Footed Tailgrab; Limbo Slide.
MOVIES
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------
The are 15 movies to unlock, one per snowboarder except Shaun (who gets
two). You will receive a video clip for each character you play as,
every time you reach the 64 SPONSORS mark. Strangely, each of the
Secret Characters opens up one half of the FMV and montage clip of
Shaun you see at the start of the game (doh!). Your 'Create Boarder'
character opens up PRO BAILS 1 (the title is self-explanatory).
WHO IS MINI SHRED?
In addition to the Shaun Palmer movie you get at 64 SPONSORS, you will
receive a second one called MINI SHRED when you complete the game as
Shaun. Mini Shred is an old nickname for Shaun when he was competing at
a very young age. This clip shows retro footage of Shaun as a teenage
boarder.
CHEATS
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------
I have been unable to get any of the cheats that I have seen online to
work in the UK version of this game. Cheats are unlocked by completing
the game with all the characters. Most of the cheats are useless
because you already know how to compleete the game by this point but
PERFECT BALANCE will certainly speed you through the other characters.
METALLIC BOARDER is a nice effect, very reminiscent of the secret
character in 1080 on the N64. This allows you to choose a GOLD, SILVER
or BRONZE metallic skin on each boarder, depending on which outfit you
choose.
In the following order, you will receive one of these cheats when you
complete the game with a new character:
KID MODE
ALWAYS SPECIAL
PERFECT BALANCE
SUPER SPIN
HALF GRAVITY
QUICKIE TRICKS
DOUBLE SPEED
BIG HEAD MODE
METALLIC BOARDER
THE FLIPSIDE

LEVEL BY LEVEL WALKTHROUGH
See above to get help on completing the Boarder, Pro or Sick Scores for
each level. To save space and avoid repetition, I have not included
them below.

DONNER SKI RANCH
-----------------------
Collect The Donner Logos
Dead easy this one. The first logo is above the first blue jump. The
second is on the end of a fallen tree just before the water towers. The
third is a little tricky, you can see it above the half pipe in front
of the lake house but as you approach it, your view is obscured and you
can misjudge it. If you go a bit out of your way, down the left side of
the water towers and grind the photographer's platform there, you will
be lined up prefectly for 3rd Donner logo. The last logo is above the
larger of two blue jumps on the right of the lake house.
Find The Secret Sponsor
When you clear the big jump near the bottom of the run, grind the top
of the car immediately in front of the house. A car alarm will go off
and the garage door will open. Now you can go through the garage to
collect the Secret Sponsor.
Bust The Slow Signs
Go through each of the 5 wooden SLOW signs. The first one is
immediately to the right of the first blue jump, the next is just after
the second blue jump (with the phtographer), go far right and get the
third just before the cable mast priior to the fenced off run, the
fourth is just before the blue jumps on the right of the lake house and
the last one is on the right, just before the big drop.
Nose Press The Water Tank Pipe
Grind the pipe that leads onto the top of the first of the two water
towers (the huge green things on the left hand side of the run). Then
nosegrind most of the curvy pipe that joins the two water tanks by
pressing UP + TRIANGLE and maintaining your balance. You do NOT have to
grind the entire pipe to complete this challenge but you do have to
land the trick succssfully.
Say Cheese!
You must perform and land a trick in front of each of the 4
photographers dotted around the course. Perform a trick while jumping
off the second blue jump (in the middle near the start of the run) to
get photographer number 1. Go to the far right and pull a hand plant or
air trick at the kicker with photographer number 2 crouchd next to it..
Photographer number 3 is on the far left of the course, reach him by
going down the left hand side by the water towers. Hit grind when you
reach the edge of his platform. The final photographer is between thee
lake and the big drop near the end of the run. Grind the rail in front
of him to complete SAY CHEESE!

ASPEN SNOWMASS
---------------------
Collect The Aspen Logos
The first logo is on the roof of the first building you see after the
initial drop. To get up there, either grind the tree near the bottom of
the slope and then the cable to the rooftop,, or you can go left and
use a natural kicker to jump up there. Grind the rail in the centre of
the roof to get the logo. The second logo is on the roof of the
building about half way down the level. Grind the rail that runs up the
building to collect it. At the next building, just after the red
circle, go on the platform and grind down the right hand rail to the
water tank below (where you will find the third logo). Now go to the
bottom of the level where you see a Yuppie waving at the top of some
steps. Use the wall to her right as a kicker and make a small jump in
front of the lighting cable, aim directly towards the Finish line. Hit
grind and you should travel along the string of lights to the the last
logo instead.
Find The Secret Sponsor
Although it involves a lot of trial and error, the easiest way by far
of getting the Secret Sponsor is to jump off the huge rock behind the
gondola/cable house at the start of the level. To do this, go around
the left side of the building at the start of the level. Grind up the
tree behind the building up onto the ridge. Once on top, go right, and
make a small jump just to the right of the far right-hand corner. You
will be very lucky if you get it first time but with practice you will
fall through the Secret Sponsor logo when you make the jump.
Demolish The Coffee Stands
Smash through 5 coffee stands. Go left around the side of the first
building to get the first, then onwards past the Yuppie house to the
next lift station where you will find the second stand. The third is on
the left of the big house with the Aspen logo on top. The fourth is on
the platform of the house before the water tower. The last on is hidden
behind the left side of the final batch of buildings near the Finish
line.
Bonk The Gondola
Get on to the roof of the first building. Go to the left of the rail
where you found the first Aspen logo and hit grind as you go off the
end. Grind this cable until you are almost on top of the gondola and
drop off and bonk it.
Show The Yuppies The Bottom Of Your Board
Do a large ollie over the 5 Yuppies being careful not to hit them. You
need to make two runs to get them all. Each is on the porch area of
various buildings on the level, there is usually a small kicker to give
you a boost in front of each Yuppie except for the final one. She is
near the end of the level above the middle set of steps. Instead of
using a kicker, try slowing right down by pulling back and then
performing a big ollie from the ground. This will usually allow you
enough clearance to get over her head and should do the trick.
KIRKWOOD
-------------
Trouble Getting Sick Scores?
Kirkwood is the toughest level to get high scores on. The best place to
bust high scoring combos is in the half pipes at the end of the level.
There is a great one on the left before the final lifts, it has a
wooden wall on the left and a blue wall on the right. Then the half
pipe with blue walls that contains the large ascending blue rail that
reaches the last KIRKWOOD logo. Finally there is a secret low-walled
half pipe parallel to the right side of the one I just mentioned but to
enter it you must drop in at the top end. If you miss the entry point,
is is virtually impossible to drop in from any other edge.
Collect The Kirkwood Logos
Grind up the grounded cable onto the high cables at the start of the
level (by the first CAUTION SIGN) , if you keep grinding you should
just drop onto the high cable and keep going. Grind that cable until
you collect the first logo. Drop off before you reach the cabin below.
After the cabin, grind up the tree to get on top of the rocky outcrop
with the rabbit on it. Use the ramp near the rabbit to clear the rise
at the end. Use the final ramp to collect the second logo suspended in
the air above the drop. Drop down and grind up the cable by the fence
(behind the second CAUTION sign). Grind to the end of the cable where
you will collect the third logo. Continue to the end of the level. On
your right, before the Finish line,, is a large arching blue rail that
ascends to the last logo. Grind up the rail and make a large jump at
the end or you won't reach the final logo.
Find The Secret Sponsor
Smash through the boarded up fence (behind the second CAUTION sign) and
then fall (don't jump) into the icy half pipe below. Grind up the small
tree branch on your left which will take you out of the half pipe. You
will see another tree branch that points across the half pipe to a
cable that goes all the way across. Grind that branch and make a little
jump onto the cable, keep grinding all the way across. Some wood will
fall off the boarded up mine entrance in front of you. Grind up the
central rail (half buried in the snow) that lines you up with and will
allow you to smash through the rest of the wood boarding up the mine
entrance. Once inside grind ther rail below the Secret Sponsor to reach
it.
Bonk The Wildlife
This is one of the most irritating tasks in the whole game. Depending
on your performanc that day, expect to take anything up to 40 attempts
to complete this challenge. It is easy to get 1 or 2 animals in a run
but all 3!!! The main thing to remember is to not bother with ramps or
rails to reach the animals (you don't need them) and use the pink
snowmobile before the river to go back if you miss an animal. You can
make at least 3 good runs within the time limit.
After the first cabin, grind up the tree onto the rocky outcrop in the
centre of the run. Grinding the tree makes the rabbit appear. Just
before you reach the rabbit press X to jump and then DOWN + X to BONK
the rabbit (hit it with yor snowboard). This will require practice (see
bonking tips above).
Drop off the outcrop and go left. Smash through the gap in the fence
behind the CAUTION sign and clear the channel below but jumping across.
Go to your left. There are many obstacles and a warning sign with a
deer on it. Slow right down by pressing DOWN for a long time. Unlike
real snowboarding, you cannot STOP in SHAUN PALMER'S PRO SNOWBOARDER so
use this method to control your speed. Go to the left of the ramp (i.e.
around it) after the deer sign. A deer will run down in front of you.
Perform a large jump immediately before it and press DOWN + X. You
should normally be able to get enough height to BONK it in this way.
After the deer, keep to your left. Whatever you do, DO NOT drop off
this area into the half pipe on your right. After the wooden rails you
can go up and to the left where you will see an eagle in a tree. Just
before it is a tree stump. As you approach, the eagle will take flight.
Go around the stump and make a sharp right turn. Try to time your jump
so that you are aiming to land at the end of the blue rail that runs
from the tree stump into the channel below. If you hit DOWN + X as the
eagle flys by, you should BONK it. The game is forgiving enough that if
you aim for the end of that blue rail, you will bonk the eagle even if
you are a little off target.
If you miss any of the animals use the pink snowmobile just past the
eagle to go back to the point before the rabbit. All the animals will
appear again and the time limit will allow you 3 or 4 attempts to
complete the task.
Bust The Caution Signs
Smash the CAUTION signs, just like the SLOW signs on the Donner Ski
Ranch level. The first one is in front of you as you begin. The second
is in front of the fence with the boarded up hole to the left of the
rocky outcrop. Smash this sign and smash through the boarded up hole in
the fence, Make a jump to clear the icy half pipe below. On the other
side is a large wooden building (where the third KIRKWOOD logo is). Go
through,. or around this building and across the small wooden bridge
immediately behind it. You find the third CAUTION sign on the outcrop
at the other side of the bridge. Drop off the end and proceed to the
river. Do not use the metal bridge to cross the river but go down the
right hand side, tyou will see the fourth sign on the river bank.
Collect it and jump across the river. If you fall in you will reappear
at the other side. Grind up the second blue rail on the rocks at the
other side of the river ((just before Hayes Hop) to reach the final
CAUTION sign.
Front Flip Over Hayes Hop
Hayes Hop is the large wooden ramp construction just after the bridge
across the river. You must front flip as you jump from one wooden ramp
to the other. Use the first ramp to get some air then cross over to the
second ramp by pressing UP at the lip of the jump. As you clear the gap
between the two wooden ramps, press UP + SQUARE to perform a front
flip.

HEAVENLY
-----------
Collect The Heavenly Logos
You must complete MOVE THE CRANES before you can collect all the
HEAVENLY logos. Going down the left branch of HEAVENLY, the first logo
is above the middle half pipe. Grind up the rail to reach it. Booard
down to the to the third crane, grind up the log hanging from the crane
boom arm to get the second logo. If you can, us the red circle lift to
go back up the run (if not, get the fourth logo next). Take the right
branch of the HEAVENLY run. After the second green kicker, go up the
rockface on the left by the wooden post and grind the fence at the top
to reach the third logo. You can proceed down this crevace to try the
IDOL challenge, or drop down and proceed to the end of the level. The
last logo is in a glass walkway crossing the level in front of the
fountain. Use the buried bus as a ramp to smash through the glass and
collect the logo.
Find The Secret Sponsor
In order to reach the Secret Sponsor you must first complete MOVE THE
CRANES. Once you have done this the first crane will have turned to the
right. Use the back of the crane as a ramp, jumping it so you can grind
up its boom arm. From there grind up the tree branch that runs from the
highest point of the crane to the roof of a building. Across the roof
is another tree branch. Grind that to the end and jump to collect the
Secret Sponsor.
Move The Cranes
Use the signs behind the first crane as a ramp, jump over the crane and
bonk or grind the boom arm to move it. Slow right down because you need
to ride on to the rooftop immediately in front of the first crane. On
the roof, grind the metal rail that will line you up with the second
crane. Grind down the boom of that crane. Then go far left up on to the
raised area. Use the blue kicker to jump the third crane and grind or
bonk it's boom arm. If you miss any cranes, the red circle just after
the third crane is the quickest way back up the hill.
Smash The Big Slot
Go to the end of the level where the casinos are. After you pass under
the glass walkway , go left around the fountain. After the bus, use the
ramp where the snow is highest and make a large jump. Press the grind
button immediately. If you are high enough, you should grind the
balcony and smash through the casino window at the end. Pull back as
much as you can to slow right down. The floor inside is very slippy and
controlling your speed is hard. Line yourself up with the large slot
machine and edge forwards until you are near enough to bonk it.
Escape With The Idol
After the intial drop, take the right branch of the HEAVENLY run. After
the second green kicker, go up the rockface on the left by the wooden
post and grind the fence at the top where the HEAVENLY logo is. At the
end of the fence, there is a hidden chute with a crate in the middle.
Proceed down the chute and smash the crate. A giant snowball will roll
down behind you, Indiana Jones style. Don't panic. Hold down X for
extra speed, and outrun the snowball by clearing the rocky ramp at the
end of the chute where the snowball will smash.

SNOWBIRD
-------------
Collect The Snowbird Logos
Grind the left hand ladder up to the tram cable, on the archway at the
exit of the gulley where you start your run. Grind the tram cable until
you collect the SNOWBIRD logo and drop down to the ground.
Just after the first tram, on your right, is a small hill with a blue
rail. Ride on to this hill and line yourself up with the treetop on the
hill in front. Jump just to the left of that tree. This will line you
up with the plateau that runs to the cliff edge. Use the last ramp to
reach thhe second logo.
The third logo is the trickiest to collect. When you drop off the cliff
go to the far left. When you reach a small gap, jump across and head
right. You will see a drop with a house below. Grind up the tree branch
that hangs out from the edge. Almost at the end of the branch you will
be lined up with the flags that run from the rooftop. Jump and grind
the flags until you are on the roof. Grind the curved rail on the roof
to collect the third logo.
Go to the far right just before the half pipe near the end of the
level. After the snow ploughs and the Secret Sponsor, there is a arched
green rail that is a ramp up to the flag rope above. Grind the green
rail, jump to the flag rope and grind it. Jump from the flag rope to
the chair lift cable and grind it until you collect the last logo.
Find The Secret Sponsor
Go to the right edge of the run, just before the half pipe begins, near
the end of the level. You will see two snow ploughs and a yellow
vehicle. Use the base of the yellow vehicle as a ramp. If you hit it on
the right hand side and press X, you should jump right through the
Secret Sponsor.
You can also do it by transferring from the front shovel of one of the
snow ploughs to its back shovel. They will then lower their rear
shovels which you can use as a ramp to reach the rope with the flags on
it.. Grind the flags until you collect the Secret Sponsor. If you need
another run, go to the end of this section where there are two lifts,
one hidden behind the other. The first one takes you back a short way,
to just above the snow ploughs. The second lift drops you near the
start of the level, next to the first snowman.
Abolish The Snowmen
Demolish the 5 snowmen by riding through them. The first one is to the
right of the archway at the exit of the gulley where you start the run.
Then go far left, down the left side of the shed under the first tram.
Here is the second snowman. Now go back to the far right. The third
snowman is just before the cliff edge, by the chair lift. Drop off the
cliff edge and go right again. Get across the natural half pipe by
grinding a log or using the fence as a ramp. The fourth snowman is on
the left side of the shed there. The last one is up on the footbridge
just before the finish line.
Ride The Trams
There are two trams. The first one is on the left of the run, by the
shed with the snowman. The second is suspended on the tram cable above
the cliff edge. To ride them you must get inside by smashing through
the window. Then you grind the rail that runs down the middle of each
tram cabin. There is a cable from the ground that yo can use to grind
up to the first tram. Enter the second one by using the natural ramp at
the cliff edge, to the right of the pylon.
Stop The Runaway Snowmobile
Bonk the pink snowmobile after the cliff drop, below the second tram.
The snowmobile will begin its run. Bonk it 4 more times before it
reaches the Finish line. Each time you bonk it, the snowmobile will
slow down a little. The best place to catch it is in the half pipe near
the end of the run.

SQUAW VALLEY
-----------------
Collect The Squaw Logos
Ppretty easy to spot these. First one is on the large ramp before the
first spotlights. Second logo is on the roof of the club house half way
down. Go left to the rail park and grind up the wavy red rail to reach
the third logo (youu need to make a big jump at the end). Join the
Palmer X run before the last blue kicker. To the right, just before the
exit is a red cable. Grind up the cable to reach the roof of the next
house. The last logo is on the roof in the middle.
Find The Secret Sponsor
Just past the house with the second MT. HOOD logo is a small snow
plough. Bonk or grind it correctly and a bell will ring. Head towards
the warehouse and as you get near the shutter door will open. Use the
plough inside as a kicker and jump up to the ventilation pipes. Grind
these to reach the Secret Sponsor. Inside the warehouse is a wooden
half pipe, perfect for beating the Sick Score. You also get higher
points for tricks in the warehouse.
Ride The Cranes
Bonk the body or cab of the snow plough to the right of cranes. The
plough will set off and it will crash into a crane tower. This will
fall and allow you to grind up it, reaching the boom. Grinding from one
to another, you can grind three cranes and complete the challenge. Just
keep pressing grind and let the line of the run control your direction.
Best 20 Secs Through The Palmer X Run
To beat the Palmer X run, you need to avoid going too fast so don't
hold down X. It may sound daft but this way, you won't make any large
jumps that waste time or take you out of the run boundaries. A small
jump at the start will save a fraction of a second by clearing those
little ripple jumps.
Extinguish The Squaw Lights
To extinguish the lights, bonk the box at the base of the lighting
cable. There are 5, light boxes to bonk. They are easy to find ... just
look for the spotlights! Most are on the left but one is on the right
of the Palmer X run.

MT. HOOD MEADOWS
------------------------
Collect The Mt. Hood Logos
This is one of the easiest logo challenges. The trick is that the last
one is hidden at the top of the level ahead of the Start line. To reach
it you must go to the helicopter pad next to the finish line. A heli-
drop takes you to the top, just to your left is a tree branch with the
last logo on top. The others are located on the building with the first
helicopter pad, the tree branch to the left of the first water tower
and just above the large ramp on the left side of the last section (a
small jump off the ramp will allow you to grind the cable to the third
logo).
Find The Secret Sponsor
Before you can collect the Secret Sponsor you must first complete CUT
THE POWER to collapse the electricity pylons that run down the left
hand side of the level. Once done, you can grind up the pylon by the
yellow car, grind the next pylon until you reach the top. Once there,
grind the tree branch to collect the Secret Sponsor.
Cut The Power
Grind up the large arch-like blue rail (like the one at the end of
KIRKWOOD), just before and to the rear of the map sign. At the end of
the rail, jump to the cable and grind that until you reach the top of
the map sign. Jump across and grind the top of the sign which will then
fall down. Proceed down the level to a red circle to get back up the
level. This time head to the front of the fallen sign. At the right
hand corner is a cable leading up from the ground. Grind it to the top,
jump across and grind the top of the sign again, and jump across from
there to the metal platform with the snow cannon. Grind the snow cannon
to fire it. The blast will knock down pylons and cut the power.
Bonk The Water Towers
To reach the first water tower, you must grind the rail on top of the
cave-like structure on the right after the map sign. Make a large jump
at the end and grind the next cable that leads to the top of the water
tower. Bonk the tower. Slowing down by pulling back will help your
timing.
Go almost to the end of the level. In the centre, in front of the large
house is a large red kicker. Heading slightly right of centre, use the
ramp to jump towards the rooftop. You should be on target for a cable
which you can then grind until you reach the rooftop. Once there, grind
the rail on the roof. Make a large ump at the end of the rail and bonk
the second water tower. You need a bit of speed to clear the distance
between the rail end and the water tower.
Clear The Road
When you go off the large drop at the start, head right because you
need to stay on high ground. Go to the left corner of this ledge and
grind the tree branch that hangs over the helicopter pad. Drop down and
hit the grind button. You should be able to grind the helicopter blades
which will make it take off.
Proceed down the run to the three buses buried in the snow. It's easier
if you head left to right. Ride up the side of the right hand bus and
grind along the top, keep grinding and you will automatically transfer
to the second bus and grind that too. The second bus will fall down
into the precipice.
Carry on down the run almost to the end. As you get to the last
section, the helicopter will fly by and hover in front of a tree branch
to the left of the large red kicker. The next part is very tricky.
Grind the tree branch and make a large jump. If you time it right and
reach the mid-part of thee helicopter body, you can bonk it and clear
its tail. You can then grind the cable behind the helicopter to the
metal tower with the snow cannon. Grind the snow cannon to fire it. The
blast will clear the road.

GOTCHA GLACIER
--------------------
Collect The Gotcha Logos
Go down the centre of the run. At the second red kicker, make a large
jump to reach the platform holding the first logo. Drop down into the
half pipe with the buried yellow rails and go to the left hand side.
Grind along the top and keep going up while grinding various rails
until you reach the second logo. Drop off the end.
If you have collapsed the bridge, use it to cross to the raised
platform on the right. Otherwise go down the right hand edge and grind
the yellow rails, like steps, until you reach that platform. The box in
the centre can be used as a ramp to reach the green rails suspended
over the middle of this area. Grind one of these rails to the end to
collect the third logo. Now drop down to the ground and you should be
at the start of the 5 yellow rails near the G. Grind up the centre rail
but make a big jump before it turns downwards. This is almost right
away. Grind the rail above. Stay on it until you reach the glass
bottomed half pipe high above. Keep pressing the grind button so that
you transfer over and grind the big red beam suspended over the glass.
Try to bonk the beam as soon as you can. This will fall and smash the
glass giving you access to the last logo. Drop through the broken
window If you have gone too far, use the red circle at the end of the
escaltor to go down the run again. You should still have time to get
back up here. Inside there are a series of palm trees. Grind up the
second one and jump through the logo at the end to collect it.
Find The Secret Sponsor
As with the last GOTCHA logo, get up to the glass bottomed half pipe.
This time, just drop into the half pipe and go to the end of the glass
section. Turn right and at the end of the platform make a jump to the
yellow rail suspended in front of you. Grind the right hand rail to the
end where you will be lined up with a small opening. Make a large jump
at the point. When you go through the opening, you will fall through
glass, hit the grind button as you fall so that you grind the green
rail below you. Jump at the end so that you collect the Secret Sponsor.
Bring Down The Man
As with the last GOTCHA logo and the Secret Sponsor, get into the glass
bottomed half pipe. Go to the end of the glass and grind the small
yellow rail buried in the snow. This will line you up for the Shaun
Palmer sign. At the end of the yellow rail make a large jump on to the
top of the sign and grind all way along until you hear a bell noise.
Collapse The Bridge
At the end of the first travellator, there is a platform. Get up there
by grinding up the lights over the centre of the travellator, or by
using the green rail on the left hand side where the belt ends. Once up
on the platform, you need to slow right down by pulling back. Drop off
the end of the platform, slightly to the left. You should land on top
of the bridge. Grind the two small yellow rails that run next to the
bolts as you travel down the bridge.
Transfer On The G Train
There are 5 huge letter Gs on this level. You must jump through each
one of them but you must be grinding a rail first and you must land it
by grinding a rail on the other side also. It will not count otherwise.
The easiest route is to go left at the start and break through the
wooden signs in the fence. Go to the top of the travellator. You need
to be grinding the lights over the centre of the belt. To reach them,
use the green rails on the left hand side. Grind the lights up to the
glass section halfway down and make a big jump through the G. Land it
by grinding the rail on the other side.
Carry on down to the big red kicker at the foot of the travellator and
make a small jump to the left as you go off the end You will land on a
platform below, probably too far. You can go back up if necessary by
edging upwards. Grind up the rail that runs along the edge of the cafe
building and jump through the G. Land it by grinding the red light
fitting on the other side and drop to the floor.
At the next drop, make a jump slightly left of centre. You are trying
to grind one of the yellow rails. If you miss, use the sides of the
small half pipe area to get up and grind the yellow rails below them.
Grind all the way to the end. You may drop to other rails, or need to
jump to the centre rails (either of the middle two rails will do). When
you get to the G, jump through. If you do it right at the end of the
rail, you will be lined up correctly and can grind one of the buried
rails on landing.
Carry on towards the end of the level where the escalators are. Go down
the middle of the escalator and grind the green rail. Make a big jump
through the G but press LEFT so that you can grind one of the escalator
hand rails on the other side. When you go off the end, you will go
directly into one of the red circles and be transported back to the
top.
Start down the run again but this time go to the right. You need to be
at the top of the 5 yellow rails about halfway down. Grind the centre
rail and jump through the G, hit grind to land it on the rail on the
other side.
