      As I was looking for FAQs for this game, the one glaring hole I noticed was a
    lack of information concerning how you would go about getting all zeros on your
    Mission Completion screen. Sure, there were plenty of FAQs for just about every
    other aspect of this brilliant game, but no text FAQ for the gaming
    perfectionists, like I try to be. Although there are several ways to complete
    missions due to the wide open gameplay of Hitman 2, the following walkthroughs
    are my personal favorite ways to achieve all zeros in most missions.
      In writing this FAQ, I'm assuming a few things:
      
      First, I'm assuming you know your way around the levels fairly well. This FAQ
    is written not for Hitman 2 beginners, but for people who wish to perfect their
    Overall Score as much as possible.
      Second, I'm assuming you know and use the "Quick Lockpick Technique". All
    this technique means is that when you're picking a lock, you switch over to the
    Map and back, thus speeding up the lockpicking process.
      Third, I'm also assuming you've already went through and completed each level
    and gathered all the weapons you can acquire before trying to go for Silent
    Assassin. No use trying to add on the headache of weapon acquisition and
    complicating an otherwise easy perfect run through. This FAQ is NOT for your
    first run-through. Go collect the weapons and get back to me.
      All directions, (North, South, East & West), are given according to the
    directions on your Map Screen.
      Notice that I give essential Equipment for some walkthroughs, but overall,
    just grab the Anaesthesia and a Knife unless I specifically mention otherwise.
    As far as Knives go - I prefer the Scalpel. It's a one-hit marvel.

    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic
    
    I. Getting In The Mansion
    
      Welcome to beautiful Villa Borghese! At the start, head down to the door
    located on the Southeastern corner of the outer wall of the Mansion. Pull out
    some Anaesthetic, crouch into Stealth Mode, and wait on the right side of the
    door for a guard to come through to use the restroom. Knock him out with all 5
    doses while he's urinating, and if you're playing on Professional, don't forget
    to drag him through the door into the Mansion yard and lay him on the North
    side of the door as you enter, then take his uniform. If you don't, the extra
    Guard that's not on the other difficulties will make his rounds and head back
    towards the trees and find him unconscious. If you're playing on Normal, just
    take his uniform and leave him laying by the trees.
      Run through the door that the guard just came from and go North, past the
    Garage and down the Basement steps that are located on the East side of the
    Mansion.
    
    II. Getting On The Roof
    
      Find the stairs that lead up into the Kitchen, and then take the stairs that
    that are located in the Kitchen that lead up to the 2nd Floor.
      Once at the top of the stairs and through the door, go through the door that
    is directly South and within eyesight from where you're standing. This will
    lead out onto a balcony that has a broken railing. Go through the broken
    railing and get on the ledge. Go around the East side of the mansion using the
    ledge by diagonally facing the ledge and running to the roof on the other side.
    If you're fast enough, the Don's son and his friend will not be below by the
    pool talking and you can run across the outside balcony of the Boss' Office. If
    they're around, just walk across.
    
    III. Getting Don Giuseppe Giulliani
    
      Hide behind the door located on the West side of the Boss' Office and go into
    Stealth Mode, then wait for Don Giuseppe Giulliani to enter the room from the
    Southwestern door. Equip your Fiber Wire or a Knife of your choosing, get it
    ready and open the door. Sneak over and strangle/stab the Don, then take his
    Key to the Prison Cell located in the Basement.
    
    IV. Getting Into Vittorio's Cell
    
      Use the door located on the Northeastern side of the room and WALK across the
    board that joins the balcony to the roof. The Don's son and his companion are
    most likely talking by the pool by now, and you'll alert them if you run.
      Head back across the Eastern ledge that you came from earlier until you're on
    the Southern side of the Basement steps that are below the ledge you're on.
    Drop down on the grass and enter the Basement.
      Go into the room that was previously locked and walk in until 47 starts to
    talk, then back out, go back up the Basement steps and head back to the hill
    where you started the mission.

    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic, Kitchen Knife, Combat Knife or Scalpel
    
    I. Into The Sewers
    
      Forget about the Locker with the Sniper Rifle and other equipment, just go
    straight ahead and run up the Metro stairs and the Escalators. Stop at the top
    of the Escalators and look down into the Locker Room on your left. When the
    Guard down here starts walking from your left to your right wait until he gets
    a little past the entrance way, then sneak behind him and slip into the door on
    the right hand side while he's preoccupied behind the Lockers.
    
    II. Onto The Streets
    
      At the next door, Pick the Lock and enter the Sewers. Run down this Sewer
    Corridor until you reach the Sewers, then hang a right, go over the bridge,
    then hang a left and enter the first Sewer Corridor on your right.
      Climb up the ladder at the end of this Corridor, (watch out for the
    patrolling Guard above), and Change into the Guard Clothes lying next to the
    Truck.
    
    III. Enter The Pushkin Building
    
      Run up to the back of the Pushkin Building, walking whenever your Suspicion
    Meter goes up at all due to patrolling Guards.
      Now, whenever you reach the back of the Building, there's two separate
    routines that the Guards inside might be doing - either two Guards patrolling
    in circles, one clockwise and the other counter-clockwise, or all Guards are
    just standing still. I'll guide you through the patrolling Guards first, then
    come back and explain the other scenario.

    #   Facing towards the back door, Look Through the Keyhole or if you can,     #
    # Check You Map and wait for the Guard that patrols from your left to your    #
    # right to pass the back door, then open the back door, get your Anaesthesia  #
    # ready, and drug the Guard that passes from your right to your left. Make    #
    # sure he doesn't see you by staying a little to the side while the door is   #
    # open. Drag his body outside and stash him behind the dumpsters, where the   #
    # Guards can't see him should they open the back door. Take his Clothes and   #
    # enter the Pushkin Building.                                                 #
    ###############################################################################

    #   Get into Sneak Mode and open the back door. Go through the nearest set of #
    # double doors, and then through a second pair of double doors on your right  #
    # after entering the first set. Get behind the Guard standing in this room,   #
    # drug him and drag his body outside and stash him behind the dumpsters,      #
    # where the Guards can't see him should they open the back door. Take his     #
    # Clothes and enter the Pushkin Building.                                     #
    ###############################################################################
    
    IV. Up To The 2nd Floor
    
      Once inside, go through the nearest set of double doors, and then through a
    second pair of double doors on your right after entering the first set. There
    will be one more set of double doors, again on your right, then a room with
    stairs. Facing the stairs from the bottom, take the stairs on the right hand
    side and go up. Once you enter the room on the 2nd Floor, go through the double
    doors that will be on your left and on the same wall as the doors you just came
    through.
      The next room should be a long hallway. Get up to the next set of double
    doors, get a knife out and ready, but don't open them just yet. If you're
    playing on any difficulty besides Professional, it's a good idea to check your
    Map and enter the next room when the other 1st Floor patrolling Guard is about
    to pass the back door, (that is, if you're playing the scenario that involves
    patrolling Guards). Other than that, peek through the keyhole and just wait for
    the General that's standing and walking back and forth to walk away from the
    General that's sitting closest to the windows, (in other words, he'll walk to
    your left).
    
    V. Into The Meeting
    
      When he starts walking away, open the doors, run up behind the General that's
    sitting and stab him in his back.
      Sheath your blade and run with the other Generals out of the room and down
    the stairs, then once downstairs, exit the Pushkin Building using the same path
    you used to enter. With any luck, the other patrolling Guard will be walking
    away from you and will just start to go through the other set of double doors
    that are far from the back door. If you see him anywhere else, just walk calmly
    and try to steer clear of him as best you can.
    
    VI. Back To The Metro
    
      Once outside, go to your drugged Guard and change back into your old Guard
    Uniform. Run whenever possible, but walk if there's anyone near your vicinity
    and take the same route you took to get to the Pushkin Building back to the
    Metro.

    #  2.03: Kirov Park Meeting ( *KIROV* )  #
    ##########################################
    
    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic, Kitchen Knife, Combat Knife or Scalpel
    
    I. Drug The Guard
    
      Run over to the lightpost and use it as cover from the guard who will shortly
    be passing by. Pull out some Anaesthetic, crouch into Stealth Mode and wait for
    him to walk slightly past the right side of the post. Sneak up behind him and
    use your chloroform, then take his clothes. It isn't really necessary to hide
    him behind the dumpsters, because you're not going to be here long. This would
    also be a good time to equip a Knife and holster it, so you can pull it out
    with the Quick Equip Button later on, because that's what you'll be using for
    this mission.
    
    II. Enter The Park
    
      Go over to the nearest Park entrance located to the East of the dumpsters. If
    you walk past on the left side of this particular Kirov Park entrance, and keep
    your face directed away from the guard nearest to this side of the entrance,
    you can usually slip by without a hassle. I've heard of some people having
    problems with this guard, but in my personal experience, as long as you face
    away from him, he never becomes suspicious.
    
    III. Killing The Targets
    
      From the entrance you just passed, General Makarov will be entering from your
    left, while the Mafia Boss Igor Kabusko will be entering from the right. Go
    over to your left and closely follow the General. Just stick right behind him.
    As long as you don't pull a weapon, he'll just keep glancing back at you. Keep
    following General Makarov until he reaches the Mafia Boss. Stand right beside
    both of them and wait until they hug each other, then quickly pull out your
    Knife, (I prefer the Kitchen Knife - it's bigger and has a wider slash range),
    and slash them both down in one or two swipes.
    
    IV. Back To The Boat
    
      Holster your Knife and walk back out of Kirov Park the same way you came in,
    making sure to once again face away from the guards. When you're out of range
    of the guards, high tail it back to your boat.

    #  2.04: Tubeway Torpedo ( *TUBEWAY* )  #
    #########################################
    
    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic, Kitchen Knife, Combat Knife or Scalpel
    
    I. Obtain The Gear
    
      Run through the Sewers until you reach the spot on the Map with the large Red
    Arrow. This is the Ladder you want. Climb up, but watch out for a Guard who
    walks near here on his patrol He turns away from the Sewer Hole after
    positioning himself by some Crates.
      Get your Anaesthetic out, get into Sneak Mode and drug this Guard before he
    heads back to his other spot in his route. Be in Sneak Mode when you're near
    him or he'll hear you and start taking off. Drag him back near the Sewer Hole,
    Change into his Uniform and drop his unconscious body down into the Sewer Hole.
      Walk towards the Truck, wait for the Guard who works the Security Stop to get
    off the Phone and patrol over to the West. When his back is to you, run on the
    South side of the Truck over towards the large Red Hitman Insignia on the Map.
      Pick up the Pager, Phone, Mini-Bomb and Bomb Remote from the Items offered
    and then prepare to get into the back of the Truck. Wait for the Security Stop
    Guard to once again head over to the West, and when his back is turned to you,
    run and get in the back of the Truck.
    
    II. Reaching The HQ
    
      Ride the truck to the outside of the Headquarters, then get out and head to
    your left. If you look towards the front of the Truck, you'll see a Guard who
    stands in one spot for a little bit right beside the front of the Truck. Wait
    for him to continue. Once he eventually starts moving, walk behind him but keep
    your distance. He'll enter the Headquarters. At this point, you can either:
         
         A. Hide behind the Crate that's to the left of the HQ door, wait for him
            to exit and then go in, or:
         
         B. Go in behind him. If you do this, once you're inside, immediately head
            to your right and behind the Crates.
    
      The Elevator to the 1st Basement is located on the West wall. Walk along the
    North wall of the Headquarters until you reach the West wall, then go South,
    around the Crates and Call the Elevator which will be on your right.
    
    III. 1st Basement
    
      When the Elevator reaches the 1st Basement, wait until the Guard who patrols
    the hallway to position himself near the Elevator. When he starts going back
    East, get out and follow behind him. When he reaches the corner and goes South,
    there will be a doorway on your right. Wait in this doorway until the Guard
    makes his way back towards the Elevator. When he passes you going North, the
    other Guard who patrols this hallway should be heading South. Follow behind
    him, and right before you reach the corner that heads East, duck into the small
    recess that's in the wall. When the Guard passes you heading North, go around
    the East corner and enter the door to the Communications Room.
      Once inside the Comm. Room, walk Northeast towards the hallway on the other
    side of the room. If you try to enter the door to the Servers on the East wall
    of this room, the Guards will start shooting you, so skip it. Head down the
    hallway and enter the door at the end of the Corridor. Once through this door,
    enter the door directly in front of you. Head South and then West around the
    corner. Keep walking until you come to the area marked on your Map as the Sewer
    Station. There might be a patrolling Guard near here; If so, wait until he
    exits the Sewer Station and heads back the other way.
    
    IV. Drop The Bomb
    
      Enter the Sewer Station and run up to the South wall. Crouch, Equip the
    Mini-Bomb and drop it in front of the wall.
    
    V. Change Uniforms
    
      Exit the Sewer Station and make your way back East towards the General's
    Room, (It's the one with two stars on the right side of the door). Hug the
    Northern wall under the camera to make sure you're out of sight of the two
    cameras positioned near here and Equip the Bomb Remote. Trigger the explosion
    and put the Remote away. Wait where you are for a Guard to exit from the
    General's Room, then walk in after he's conveniently opened the previously
    locked door for you. There will be a General's Uniform on the bed in the
    corner. Put it on and head West past the Sewer Station, then North towards the
    other Elevator. Try to keep as wide of a berth as possible between you and the
    only Guard who patrols these hallways. It helps to look away from him as well.
    There's an empty Guard's Quarters located on the West side of the hallway near
    the Elevator that you can slip into if you wish.
    
    VI. 2nd Basement
    
      Go all the way around the 2nd Basement until you reach the Southernmost
    hallway. There will be a Guard who patrols from his room to the Observation
    Room and back. Wait until he starts walking East back to his room, then head
    down the hallway and Pick the Lock on the Observation Room, (It's at the very
    end of the hall).
    
    VII. Kill The General
    
      Head over to the middle of the one-way glass, equip the Pager, kneel down and
    drop it on the floor. Get over on the West side of the door and equip the
    Phone. Check the Map or look through the keyhole and wait until the Guard who
    patrols the hallway to stop in front of your door, then use the Phone, (This is
    to assure he doesn't accidentally see you doing something like killing the
    General). The Pager beeps will alert General Mikhail Bardachenko who will come
    over to the Observation Room to find out what the beeping is coming from. Get
    into Sneak Mode and equip a Knife. Now, you might want to use Fiber Wire, but
    as far as I'm concerned, I find it MUUUUCH easier to just slash him. When he
    enters the room, start creeping up behind him and slash him as soon as he's in
    range.
    
    VIII. Back To The 1st Basement
    
      Exit the Observation Room and head over to the room that the General came
    from. Walk up to the Soldier in the chair to trigger a cut scene. After the FMV
    is over, head out the door on the North side of this room and back to the
    Elevators. There will be another cut scene showing one of the 2nd Basement
    Guards getting alarmed, but it's nothing to get worried about.
      Once you're back on the 1st Basement, make your way slowly back to the Sewer
    Station, and try to avoid the Guard I was talking about earlier when you were
    making your way downstairs. Again, the empty Guard's Room is a pretty good
    hiding spot.

    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic
    
    I. The Mansion
    
      When you start, hit the Drop button to drop the AK, (that's only if you're
    carrying it because you continued on from Tubeway Torpedo and you happened to
    pick it up while you were completing that Mission, otherwise, never mind). Run
    up the stairs and run to the Southeastern gate of the Mansion and pick the
    lock. Run to the front door and go in. More times than not, the Ambassador
    should be in the Ballroom still, so head straight for the Ballroom.
    
    II. The Briefcase
    
      Wait until the Ambassador starts to leave the Ballroom, and follow him to
    whatever room he chose to keep the Briefcase in on this particular run through,
    (It's a random choice between four rooms that contain Safes). Get your
    Anaesthetic ready when the Ambassador opens the doors to the room with the
    Safe, but make sure he doesn't see you prepare it. Wait until he opens the Safe
    successfully, then sneak over and tranquilize him once quickly, grab the
    Briefcase and run over to the adjoining room just in case the Spetsnaz Agent
    decides to check with the Ambassador instead of running outside.
    
    III. The General
    
      Check your Map or the keyhole to make sure the coast is clear, then head to
    the West Hallway on the First Floor. General Vladimir Zhupikov walks to the
    Ballroom and back from the room in the upper left of this hallway. Hide behind
    the corner of the wall just before the hallway turns to the Ballroom, drop the
    Briefcase for now and wait until he leaves for the Ballroom, then when he's a
    safe distance away but still walking towards the Ballroom from the hallway,
    sneak in and chloroform the maid that's cleaning the desk, and hide her body
    behind a desk.
      Facing back towards the door from inside the room, hide behind the right side
    of the door in Stealth Mode. When Vladimir walks in, sneak up behind him and
    Knife or Fiber Wire him, then run out, grab the Briefcase and walk out of the
    Mansion to your exit point. Once outside, make sure to not draw any attention
    from nearby guards and steer clear of the Spetsnaz Agent if he happens to be
    outside.

    #  2.06: Tracking Hayamoto ( *TRACKING* )  #
    ############################################
    
    I. Outside
    
      From the start, there will be two Guards on the other side of the rock from
    where you are. Wait until they turn around and head back West, then hug the
    South wall until you're parallel to the entrance to the House. Wait for the
    Guard who patrols through the front door to head back inside, then run up
    towards the front door and head East towards the Garage. Take your time and
    don't get too close to the Guard in the Southeast who patrols the Driveway.
    Open the first Garage Door and head inside.
    
    III. Garage & Inside
    
      Head over to the car near the driver's side door and honk the horn, then run
    over and hide behind the garbage can that's located near the door on the West
    side of the Garage. Wait for the Guard to come out, then Sneak inside the House
    while he's preoccupied.
      Once through the door, take the doorway located on the North wall that's
    covered with a sheet, then once you're in this new room, take the other doorway
    that's covered with a sheet. Sneak up to the sliding door that will be on the
    South wall of this room and wait for the Guard who patrols the hallway on the
    other side of the door to walk from the West to the East, (your right to your
    left).
      Once he passes, Sneak out and go to your right and then enter the first door
    you encounter that will be on your right. Head North through this room, stop in
    front of the door on the North wall and wait for the two Guards here to patrol
    away from your location. Sneak out into this hallway and head left to the
    second room, (where the point of interest is marked). There's a change of
    Clothes here.
      Once disguised as a Chef, head towards the Kitchen. Try to stay away from the
    other Chef and the Patrolling Guard. Go around the Southern side of the large
    table located in the Kitchen, and there will be an option to plant a Tracking
    Device in a small bowl. Plant the Tracker and head to the other side of the
    Kitchen to the room on the North of the small hallway. Walk up to the fish
    lying on the Crate and choose the option to Cut the Fish. Take the Rotten Fish
    back to the small bowl where you planted the Tracking Device and Place the Fish
    inside the same bowl. Walk out of the Kitchen using the door on the North side
    of the room. Try to keep your face away from the other Chef, (If the Suspicion
    meter goes up, don't worry, it won't count as a Close Encounter).
    
    IV. Outside Again
    
      Make your way back to the entrance, avoid getting close to any Guards and
    wait until your Objectives are completed, then simply walk up to the Exit gate.

    #  2.07: Hidden Valley ( *VALLEY* )  #

    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic
    
    NOTE: This level has quite the nasty little bug in it, which makes getting a
    Perfect Silent Assassin rating just a touch harder than other levels.
    Sometimes, Guards in the tunnel will get run down by the Trucks, and when the
    other Guards see him dead, it counts against your Alert total, thus, no Perfect
    Silent Assassin rating. The only thing to do is Restart and try again, and hope
    that the Guards don't get sloppy again. Good Luck!
    
    I. Getting A Disguise
    
      Run to your right, and stay between the mountain and the trees. When the
    mountain starts curving around South, go South along the Eastern side of the
    trees. Try to keep the trees between you and the Sniper in the Tower window.
    Head over to the North wall of the Tunnel Entrance, and go to the large Red
    Hitman Insignia on the Map. Equip your Anaesthesia and wait facing South in the
    corner of the Tunnel Entrance. When the Guard here turns around and starts
    heading back South, Sneak out and chloroform him. Take his Uniform and drag him
    over by the Crossbow.
    
    II. Past The Field
    
      There are two possibilities to get to the Lone Tunnel Inlet. The Lone Tunnel
    Inlet is the one Inlet in the South of the Map that's tucked away all by itself
    in a dead end. That's where we're headed. Either way, the main thing to keep in
    mind at all times is to take your time and keep plenty of distance between you
    and the Guards.

    III. The Lone Tunnel Inlet
    
      Once you near the entrance to the dead end, there will be a lone Guard
    patrolling the dead end. Now, we're going to use the game's programming against
    itself. Try to sneak as far in as possible, but when the Guard inevitably sees
    you, get your Anaesthetic out and wait for him to check your ID. Get behind him
    while he's busy checking and give him a quick dose of your chloroform, then run
    like crazy to the Lone Tunnel Inlet. Don't worry - If he checks your ID, it
    doesn't count as a Close Call. If there's a bit of distance between the Guard
    and you, then you can alternately just run past him and ignore him when he
    calls you out. He'll become alarmed, but not alerted.
      Head down the ladder, but not too far down, and wait for the Black Ninja to
    enter the room below you. Wait for him to make his way back out of the room,
    then climb down and enter the next room. Be extremely quiet here or you'll
    pique his interest. Use Sneak Mode the whole time, or his patrol pattern will
    change. When you enter the next room, the Black Ninja should be preparing to go
    into the other room to the North of yours, with boxes stacked against the wall
    blocking his view of you. Wait for him to enter that room, then get on the
    Northern side of the door he just used, (you'll be in the corner), prepare your
    Anaesthesia, and wait there in Sneak Mode.
      When he re-enters the room you're in, he won't see you because you'll be
    behind the opened door. Wait a few seconds for him to walk forward, then Sneak
    behind him and give him the rest of your chloroform. Take his Clothes and exit
    into the Tunnel.
    
    IV. Hitching A Ride
    
      Wait for a Truck to pass that's going West. It should stop somewhere near
    your vicinity. Hop in the back, crouch down and face the front of the vehicle.
    From here on out, ride the Truck until it exits the Tunnel, then hop out and
    make your way to the exit in the South.

    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic
    
    I. Drug the Guard
    
      From the start, run over to your right and up the incline. Keep running and
    try to stay near the edge of this small cliff, and run East until you come to a
    place where two trees are growing extremely close to one another, and no other
    trees are close. The small cliff you're on will branch out to the North of the
    two trees. If you were fast enough, the Guard who patrols along the edge of the
    small cliff won't spot you. Hide behind these trees and wait for the patrolling
    Guard to pass from East to West. Sneak up behind him, drug him and take his
    Uniform, then pull him away from the edge of the small cliff. Keep on the edge
    and head East until this small cliff ends, then head North until you complete
    the objective where you approach the Castle. As always, keep your distance from
    the Guards.
    
    II. The First Power Grid
    
      You next stop is the First Power Grid. This is located in the Southeastern
    corner of the Castle, and is guarded by a trigger happy Guard. Stay at the
    bottom of the slope that leads up to the Power Grid and watch the Guard until
    he turns away from you, then hug the edge of the cliff and run to the Castle
    wall. Sneak North up to the gate of the Power Grid and get your Anaesthesia
    ready. Although the gate is see-through, the Guard won't spot you as long as
    you stay in the Southeastern corner of the fence because for some oddball
    reason, he just can't see you through the gate.
      Wait for him to turn around and head back North, then creep up behind him and
    give him the rest of your Anaesthesia. Run inside the gate of the Power Grid
    using the door on the North side of the fence and Stop the Unit from running.
    
    III. The Second Power Grid
    
      Now you'll want to head for the front door of the Castle. There is a Guard
    who patrols the area just beyond this rock doorway, so check your Map or watch
    for him to go from the East doorway to the West doorway, then sneak inside
    behind him and head for the East doorway and then up the stairs. At no point
    while you're inside this area should you run. Either sneak or walk to avoid
    suspicion from some highly alertable Sniper Guards.
      Once at the top of the stairs, head out the door that's on the East side of
    the room. The Second Power Grid is located just to the South once you're back
    outside. Go over and shut it down.
    
    IV. The Last Power Grid
    
      Your next stop is the Last Power Grid. Facing North from the Second Power
    Grid, you'll want to go up the sharp incline directly to the North of the Grid
    that has a door at the top. Enter the door, head West and curve around with the
    room. There are two Ninjas hanging out on the rafters above, but they won't
    bother you. The Last Power Grid is located at the end of this room. After
    powering down the Last Power Grid, head over to the closest door near the Power
    Grid and Look through the Keyhole. You'll want the Guard who patrols out here
    to be heading East and facing away from you when you exit out into the yard.
      When you get outside, head Northwest and pass through the deactivated laser
    field. Walk up the incline and enter through the first door on your right once
    you're at the top of the stairs and facing North. Then, there will be another
    small incline. Head up, turn around and face North at the top. Walk up to the
    doorway to finish the level.

    I. Getting The Keycard
    
      Hit Sneak Mode immediately before taking any steps and walk to the Northern
    side of the rock doorway. Enter through the hidden door on the East side of the
    stone doorway and make your way up the steps. Follow the corridor around to
    your left and Look through the Keyhole. You'll want the Ninja that patrols out
    here to turn around and start heading back East, then open the door, hug the
    West wall and go North until you come to a set of stairs leading down located
    on the North side of this room. Go down them and to your right on the same wall
    is another door. Take that door and go down the narrow hallway until you come
    to the end with a door facing West. Look through the Keyhole to make sure no
    Guards are praying at the shrine area. When the coast is clear, Open the Door
    and take the Key located on the small shelf on the Northern wall.
    
    II. A Bomb & A Disguise
    
      From the Shelf with the Key, head West down this hallway and watch out for
    the Guard who patrols in a square pattern going in a counter-clockwise
    direction. Keep your distance, and when he starts heading West, follow him
    quietly. After walking down this hallway, he'll then turn and go South, and so
    should you, but when he turns and heads East, you'll go through the door on the
    Southern wall instead.
      Now, you're in a long hallway, and at the end of this hallway is another
    Guard who patrols in a counter-clockwise direction. Repeat the procedure you
    used for the last Guard and take the door on the East wall.
    
    III. The Basement Museum

    I. Security Dept.
    
      You'll start in a phone booth facing North. Back out of it and run Northeast
    towards the Security Dept. where your stash is being kept once again in Locker
    #137. Wait for the Guard to make his rounds in the Locker Room, then sneak in
    and grab the Smoke Bomb, and the Silenced 9MM if you didn't equip one before
    you started the level.
    
    II. Laundry Dept.
    
      Leave the Security Dept. and head directly North for the Laundry. Wait until
    the coast is clear so you can sneak into the first room once inside the main
    Laundry area. When the Laundry area is clear, exit the closet room and run into
    the Laundry Room, get up to the Laundry Chute and an action window will pop up
    directing you to drop the Smoke Bomb down the Chute.
      No doubt, a guard will most likely tell you that you're not authorized to be
    in the Laundry area on your way out. Just walk past and don't pay him any mind
    because he's not suspicious of you.
    
    III. Fire Dept.
    
      Run over to the Fire Dept. located in the Northwest. The smoke alarms will
    start going off, and a lot of Firemen will pour out of their Department, giving
    you an excellent chance to go in their locker room while they're gone and get a
    Fireman's Costume. Grab the Fire Axe while you're in there.
    
    IV. 1st Basement
    
      Run through the Security Scanners and head for the Fire Stairs located in the
    Northwest of this enclosed area. Run down the stairs to the First Basement,
    then run past the first room on your immediate right and head towards the
    double doors at the end of the Hallway and on your left. After going through
    the double doors, enter the first door on your left. Get out your Silenced
    Pistol and shoot the computer screen that's in the Northeast corner of this
    room, and that will complete one of your two Objectives.
    
    V. 2nd Basement
    
      Head over between the Elevator and Glass door, and you'll get the option to
    Pick a Lock. When this is done, head through the door and run down all the way
    into the Second Basement where your Mark resides, (after you Pick another Lock
    on your way down, that is).
      Run through the room avoiding the spilled Potato Chip bags, have the Fire Axe
    above your head and ready by holding down the button, and let the guy have it
    when you get right up to him. I think it's better to run on the other sides of
    the pillars, (behind the servers, but still in the middle), rather than
    straight down the middle, because your Target might spot you.
    
    VI. 1st Basement Escape
    
      If you make your way up to the Elevator in the Security Room fast enough,
    (where the blown Computer Screen is), the Guards might not be there yet, so run
    right in the Elevator. If they are there, just run through the door and make
    two VERY quick rights into the Elevator. They won't have time to become Alerted
    that way.

    I. Get Charlie
    
      Hop over onto the balcony and run through the double doors on your left. Make
    your way to the large plant that's between two sets of double doors and wait
    for a Guard to come out from each set of doors. For some reason, as long as
    you're under the houseplant, the Guard coming from the North door won't see you
    hiding. When they safely pass, take the Southern-most door and head South for
    Charlie's jacuzzi room.
      Enter Charlie's room and hide behind the partition until the girls leave.
    It's better to hide on West side of the small vase for some reason, because the
    redhead occasionally spots me if I'm on the other side. When they're going on
    their restroom break, Sneak over to Charlie Sidjan and Fiber Wire or stab him,
    then Drag his corpses over behind the heart-shaped, vibrating Love-O-Rator bed.
    
    II. Blow The Fuses
    
      Jog quickly behind the West side of the door and wait for the girls to
    return. Sneak out after checking that the Security Guard has started heading
    North after checking the Southern hallway. Go North up the hallway until you
    reach the Elevator, then head out into the main apartment area using the doors
    directly to the East of the Elevator. Head North over to where the Statue is
    located, but don't pick it up yet...we have to disable the Security Alarm
    that's rigged up to it. Go through the North double doors out onto another
    balcony and Look through the Keyhole of the office where the Safe is located.
    Wait for the Secretary to walk over and Open the Safe, as well as the Security
    Guard who checks in from the South door and heads back out. When she's
    preoccupied, enter the room, hug the South wall and exit through the South
    door. Go into the next door directly in front of you after exiting the room
    with the Safe and walk up to the Circuit Breakers. An action to blow the fuses
    will pop up, so go ahead and take care of that.
    
    III. Safe & Statue
    
    NOTE: From here on out, it would be best to run and get everything done as
    quickly as possible.
    
      Head back over to the room with the Safe, Open the Safe and Take the Money
    inside. Take the East double doors and head over to the Statue. Pick it up and
    sprint for the Elevator. A technician will be arriving on the Elevator, so tuck
    yourself in the Northern corner of the Elevator area and wait for him to
    arrive, then slip into the Elevator right after he exits.

    # 2.13: Murder At The Bazaar ( *BAZAAR* ) #
    ###########################################
    
    I. The Lieutenant
    
      Head North to the location on your Map that says 'Lieutenant's Quarters'.
    There will be two Guards out in front of the house, so head around to the back.
    Run past the back door and on to the East side of the house, then go into Sneak
    Mode and make your way back to the backdoor and Pick the Lock. The reason you
    ran past the door in the first place was to create a diversion - the Lieutenant
    will now be facing the last direction in which he heard you. Sneak inside and
    head up the staircase on your immediate left. The Lieutenant should be facing
    away from you and oblivious to your presence if you did it right.
      Stab or strangle him, then take his Coordinates and his Clothes. Two
    bodyguards might have entered the house if they heard any noise from upstairs.
    As long as you're wearing the Lieutenant's Clothes and keep your face away from
    them, you'll be fine as you walk downstairs and out the back door. It also
    helps to sneak, because half the time they never even realize you're there if
    you're quiet enough.
    
    II. The Bazaar
    
      Make your way to the Eastern-most entrance of the Bazaar - the one closest to
    the Exit of the level. As you're facing West and looking inside the Bazaar from
    that Eastern-most entrance, hide in the nearest shop on your left behind some
    Crates and wait for the Admiral to walk in and pause in front of those same
    Crates. Sneak up and strangle him, then drag his body back behind the Crates.
    Put away your weapon and calmly walk to the Exit point.

    # 2.14: The Motorcade Interception ( *MOTORCADE* ) #
    ####################################################
    
    Essential Equipment: Axe
    
    NOTE: This one's a little frustrating to get All Zeros on, but it CAN be done.
    You might have to restart a lot of times with this one. Try saving your game
    and re-booting it up after you position yourself where you need to be with the
    Axe, then play through it again in one go around. Also, I shouldn't have to
    tell you that the Guards and Natives would be really freaked out if they scoped
    you walking around with a big honking axe, so be prepared to drop it on a
    moment's notice. Being paranoid in this level isn't a bad thing. There's also
    the matter of some random Guard/Native placement, so you'll have to deal with
    that as well. Fun, innit?
    
    I. Getting In Place
    
      Head slowly Northeast to the small doorway and across the street, being wary
    of Guard patrol patterns. Looking East from your starting position, there will
    be one Guard to your left, and two to your right. You want to go to the small
    doorway that's to the East of the doorway that the Guard on your left goes
    through. Your primary destination is the North side of the main road, in the
    small alcove between buildings. Also, keep an eye out for the Natives because
    they have a nasty habit of getting in your way at the most inopportune times.
    If you see a Native coming towards you, drop the axe. That simple. When you
    arrive, Drop the Axe somewhere near the alcove and head over to meet your
    Contact, but leave the Equipment he offers.
    
    II. Triggering The Motorcade & The Hit
    
      On your way back, slightly Northeast of the alcove where your axe is located,
    there will be a set of steps allowing you access to the rooftops. Jog up and
    run across the board to the next building, then take the ladder up to the
    highest rooftop. Walk to the edge of the roof that's facing the road and you'll
    trigger the Motorcade. (A message will pop up telling you so)
      Head back down the ladder then fall off the rooftop over to where your Axe is
    located. Stay out of sight of the road and wait until the Motorcade is about to
    pass your vicinity. While you're waiting, you could scan the area for Guards
    and Natives. They can be tricky.
      Once the stretch limo is about to pass you, Pick up the Axe, run out to the
    road and aim for the side of the limo in the center. Just run up and let 'er
    go. Your Objective Status will immediately change if you were successful...
    That, and you should hear a pretty deep "THWAK!" sound.
      Immediately Drop the Axe and head for your extraction point.

    # 2.15: Tunnel Rat ( *TUNNEL* ) #

    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic, Kitchen Knife, Combat Knife or Scalpel
    
    I. Crash The Party
    
      Start running West until you pass the wall on your left. Head straight,
    (Southwest-ish), and through the opening between the corroded walls. You're
    going to go in a kind of a circle path until you reach the Northern side of the
    nearest entrance to the underground Compound. Make sure you go around the far
    side of the three larger-sized piles of rock that all look alike - Not the big
    walls, but the large piles of rock.
      Soldier patterns are random in this level, so sometimes the lone Guard that
    watches this entrance goes on a walkabout.If that happens, it's best just to
    restart while you're near the beginning if he's walking around. For this
    walkthrough, we want him stationary in front of the door and facing East - in
    the direction you originally started from.
      Get out your Aenesthetic and start slowing down before you get to the pile of
    rocks on the Northern side of the Compound entrance so we don't alert the Guard
    of 47's presence. Walking is fine until you start getting close, then hit Sneak
    Mode.
      Wait for the Guard to take a sharp look over his left shoulder, then Sneak in
    between him and the door. Chloroform him with all 5 doses, then Pick the Lock.
    Grab him, Open the Door and drag him down the stairs a little bit. Change into
    his clothes and run down the steps into the Compound.
    
    II. Hello...And Goodbye, Yussef Hussein
    
      Yussef is located in a closet in the Eastern-most circular room on the Map.
    Getting there is half the fun. When you get to the bottom of the stairs and
    turn the corner to face North, wait for the Guard who patrols the Southern
    corridor to turn around and start heading East. Walk out into the Compound and
    head Northwest, over by the crates, but not behind them. Try to keep your face
    away from the other Guards while you're down here as much as possible, and at
    all times. We're headed for the Generator. Once you get to the hallway that has
    the Generator, just walk past the Guard who's defending it and go East down the
    wiggly dirt path. When you reach the sleeping quarters, go straight and into
    the next hallway. Stop halfway and wait for both of the Guards to step away
    from Yussef's door, then walk over to it. You can walk past the Guard who has
    no gun while he's guarding the door, but I prefer to wait until he leaves. That
    whole walking past the Guard thing is kind of iffy, and might result in 47
    getting killed or the Guards getting Alerted and sending for Reinforcements.
    Screw that, I prefer to play it safe. No need to entice headaches when you can
    simply avoid them all together.
      Once you enter Yussef's room, Close the Door and enter Sneak Mode. Mr.Hussein
    is reading his mail in the closet...don't ask, because I'm not. If you walk or
    cause any noise what-so-ever in this room, he will turn around and face the
    closet door. Not good. We want him turned away so we can shank him easier. Open
    the closet door, Sneak up behind him and stab his ass...or back...or head...
    wherever is good, as long as he's dead. Pick up the extra Anaesthetics and wait
    for both of the Guards to leave the area again before exiting Hussein's room.
    
    III. Going Up?
    
      Once outside the room, head North and hug the wall. Pay no attention to the
    guy getting his butt whooped. 47's got his own problems. Hang a left and head
    West down this next corridor. Go straight into the Lift where the Nuclear Arms
    are being held. Call the Elevator and ride up to the surface with the Arms. The
    Guards below will come watch, but they won't really freak out on you as long as
    you play it cool, but to be extra safe, you can hide in the back of the
    Elevator if you so wish.
      When you reach the top, your contact will inform you that you need to secure
    the area by the helipad so they can pick up the Arms. Solution? Knock them out
    when they're peeing. Now, about this time, the original Guard you knocked out
    should be waking up. A message will pop up saying something like "Guards are
    now on the lookout for a suspicious Soldier" or whatnot, but it's already too
    late, you made it to the surface. Sometimes, a Guard will come up from the
    Compound using the exit near you and head over to the middle of the Helipad
    before returning below. Keep that in mind and position yourself correctly. I
    just ran East of the Helipad and waited for him to leave. Your first target
    will go behind the Compound entrance next to the Helipad to take a leak. That's
    when you Sneak up and chloroform him. One down. The other will head slightly
    North of the Compound entrance and pee on that wall. Sneak up behind him and
    after emptying five doses into him, the Mission will be over. You might not
    need to empty all five doses, but hey, just to be safe. Feel free to try it out
    with one dose and tell me how that goes.

    comes towards you and heads up the small hill. I mean, like a good 80 to 90% of
    the time. With this in mind, I'm writing this walkthrough to reflect that
    specific pattern. If he takes another pattern, well, whatever. I'm not writing
    another walkthrough to help you there. This FAQ was meant to be for my personal
    favorite ways to get Perfect Silent Assassin ratings anyway, so good luck!
    
    I. The Sewer Jog!
    
      Wait for the Guard who comes towards you to pass and head up the hill, then
    make a break for the sewer entrance that's located to the Northwest of the
    facility. I'm not going to hold your hand and get you through the sewer, so let
    me just say that you should look at your Map and head for the only other exit
    on it. This should be simple enough. Once you reach the room with four Water
    Ducts, take the first one on your right and head through the winding hallway
    until you reach a ladder on the wall.
    
    II. Become A Patient!
    
      From the bottom of the ladder, take your time, check your Map and make sure
    all patients are outside of their rooms, and the Guards are nowhere to see you.
    If there's one Guard directly Northwest of your position, don't worry - crates
    block his view of the sewer entrance. Also, the patients should all leave their
    rooms at about the same time. When the moment I just explained happens, climb
    up and head over to the door on your right, then make your way North through
    the other rooms until you reach the Northernmost room. In this room on the bed
    is a Patient's Robe. There should be a Point Of Interest telling you to examine
    this room. Robe up and get ready to hit the Storage Room.
      If the patients aren't leaving their rooms all at once, an alternate way to
    reach the Northernmost room is to hide in the small bathrooms on the West sides
    of the rooms and slowly make your way North as the rooms clear. However, steer
    clear of the bathroom that gets used a lot. It's the third room up.
    
    III. Get The Key!
    
      Congratulations, you may now walk freely around the facility without eating
    lead. Head for the South where the Storage Area is located. Once you're as
    South as you can go, you'll want to take the door on the West. Open this Door
    and immediately head for the other door, ignoring the Guards suspicions. Close
    the Door behind you and grab the Key hanging on the North wall of the Storage
    area, then exit through the same way, back out into the main area.
    
    IV. Dr.Von Kamprad Bites It!
    
      Head for the Offices located in the upper North end of the facility. The
    Guards shouldn't give you too much hassle.

    Essential Equipment: Scalpel
    
    I. 47 Joins The Cult
    
      For the last of the India missions, for some reason I found this to be one of
    the easiest levels in the entire game.
      Head straight and around the corner. There will be a Guard on the boat to
    your left, so be wary of him...However, I found out you can walk over and get
    behind the first set of crates as long as you hug the North wall after the
    staircase. Wait for him to start walking West around to the other side of the
    boat, then walk over to the next set of crates, where another Guard will start
    patrolling East. Hit Sneak Mode and start heading West, and when you feel that
    you've put enough distance between 47 and the Guard patrolling East, run up the
    hill and over near the Temple. There will be a dirt path dug into the hillside.
    Turn there and you'll come to a pool area, with a Guard facing away from you on
    the other side of the pool. I've noticed you can pretty much run over to the
    orange Cultist Clothes that are laying on the ground and he won't turn around.
      Change into the Cultist Clothes and then head North using another dirt path
    directly in front of you. Turn right with the path and slow down. The
    Receptionist/Nurse that we'll be dealing with a little later might be on the
    balcony ahead taking a break. She takes a lot of breaks. Head over to the front
    door and walk right in.
    
    II. 47 Joins The Staff
    
      Make your way North over to the stairs leading up to the 2nd Floor. I prefer
    the East side because the Nurses don't use it, but it really doesn't matter. At
    the top of the stairs, take a left, (or right, depending on which staircase you
    personally prefer), and head South. You might pick up some tag-along Guard who
    starts following behind you. Don't worry about him too much. Go out one of the
    South doors and back in through another one to shake him. Go West into Dr.
    Chakran's Office Reception area. Walk out onto the balcony and head up the
    stairs immediately to your right when you exit the building. Go to where the
    Point of Interest is located on your Map, turn around, and wait for our break
    freak Receptionist to take yet another minute for herself. Sneak back in the
    building and Pick the Lock to the Doctor's Office while she's preoccupied. Once
    inside, head over to the Black Box on the Desk and retrieve the Room Key. Use
    the Room Key to open the door North of your current position. Inside this last
    room is a Doctor's Robe. Put it on and head back over to the center room of the
    facility.
    
    III. Deewanna Ji Joins The Dead
    
      Go past the stairs you used to get up to the 2nd Floor and keep going North.
    We're heading for the Elevator located a bit up the way. When you reach the
    railing area right before the Elevator, I prefer to go left and up. Less Guards
    that way. Send for the Elevator and take it to the Basement level.
      Once inside the Basement, a message will probably pop up, informing you that 
    the Cult Leader is ready for surgery. His room will be one of the four rooms
    located in Ward A, which is North of the Elevator. You can tell which room is
    his if you check your Map and see which room has two people in it that aren't
    in the center of the room. You can check it out while you're in the Elevator
    heading down to the Basement. When you enter the correct room, you'll find him
    on a Gurney. Walk up to him and pull out your Scalpel. If there are Cultists in
    the room, don't worry about them. They think you're the Doctor, remember? A
    Choice to Kill the Cult Leader will pop up. Pick it and watch Dr.47 go to work.
    When the job is done, put your Scalpel away and exit the room. Head for the
    Elevator and once inside, choose the 1st Floor.
    
    IV. 47 Leaves The Island
    
      It's pretty much smooth sailing from here on out. Make your way South and out
    the front door, then keep heading South. When you reach the staircase heading
    down to the area where your boat is located, 17 will appear at the bottom of
    the steps and take a few shots at you before running away. Don't freak out and
    start running or anything, just stay calm and let him fire his few shots and
    then he'll leave. For some strange reason, it won't startle the Guard who's
    right behind you as long as you don't appear startled. After 17's little scene
    is done, head down the steps and back to your boat.

    Essential Equipment: Anaesthetic
    
    NOTE: As I stated in the Introduction, this FAQ is not meant for your first
    time through the game. This level can ONLY be played the way I describe below
    on your second time through. You are WITHOUT your trusty Anaesthesia the first
    time through, so you kind of HAVE to Fiber Wire 17 inside Pushkin, thus
    bringing out the Guards. Follow the walkthrough below until you reach the point
    where you're supposed to chloroform him, then just kill him there instead and
    hoof it back to the Metro all John McClane style, (For those of you uninitiated
    with John McClane, go watch a Die Hard flick).
    
    I. Avoiding Number 17
    
      Forget the Locker and the Sewer entrance you used before and head for the
    streets using the stairs of the Metro Entrance instead. If you take your old
    route where you came out of the sewers near a Truck with a Uniform, 17 will
    take pot shots at you from the 2nd Floor of the Pushkin Building. When you
    reach the streets, go straight and hug the left side of this road. Your
    destination is the back of the abandoned building across from the Pushkin where
    you were supposed to use the sniper rifle on the General in the previous St.
    Petersburg mission, (but DIDN'T, if you used the all-zero walkthrough included
    in this FAQ).
      Once you're there, 3 Guards are hanging around back here, so watch those
    patrolling patterns. Take the back door of the abandoned building that's
    closest to you and head straight through to the other side and out onto the
    street again right across from the Pushkin Building. Now, 17 has a random
    placement, so sometimes he might be watching for you to come out of the
    abandoned building. You'll know if you take a bullet to the head right when you
    open the door. He'll either be facing the abandoned building, looking out the
    front of the Pushkin, or looking for you from the other side of the Pushkin. If
    he's in either of the last two positions, you're good to go.
    
    II. 17's A Real Drag
    
      Go into Sneak Mode before opening the front doors and head up the stairs on
    the right side of the 1st Floor foyer. In the room at the top of these stairs,
    17 should be looking through the window. If not, he'll be in the adjacent room
    looking out of the front windows of the Pushkin. Either way, Sneak up behind
    him and give him some of your tasty Anaesthesia. We're not going to kill him
    here because it will call out Guards who will swarm the streets making our job
    much more difficult.
      Just drag him back to the Metro and kill him once you're down the Escalators.
    The civilians will freak out on your way there, but no damage to your rating
    will be done as long as you ignore them. Better yet, just try to avoid them all
    together. They're also easier to handle than the Guards. 17 will start to wake
    up about halfway there, but don't worry. Just dope him up again and he'll head
    back to la-la land for the rest of the trip's duration. After shanking him in
    the Metro, run to the Subway car like before and you're done.
