Welcome to my FAQ for Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Operation Resurrection.
Since this is an action, adventure, and strategy game, there is no walkthrough
per se. Instead, this FAQ is broken up into parts. First you will be given an
explanation of choices you have for playing the game. Next, you will be given
all the possible commands you can give with a brief description of what those
commands are. The last part is dedicated to strategy. This strategy will give
you an idea on how to accomplish the objectives set before you. Input is
appreciated along with constructive criticism. If you wish to e-mail me
thoughts on this FAQ, better ways of doing things, other strategies, etc.,
feel free. Make sure you put RTCW: OR FAQ in the subject. If you don't, I'm
liable to discard the e-mail as spam.

| 5.  OVERVIEW |===============================================================
+==============+

Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Operation Resurrection is part of a long line of
games by the same name. Broderbund/Muse Software was the first to put out this
game in the early 80's. It was released for the Apple and Commodore computers.
This was a basic two-dimensional shooter that had you going through different
areas to find treasures and other assorted objects. It proved to be one of the
most popular titles for these computer systems. During the 90's, id Software
picked up where the last game left off. They totally overhauled the system and
turned it into a first-person, three-dimensional shooter. Some of the old
elements were still there such as finding secret rooms, treasures, and items,
but it id Software revolutionized the way games were played. This also served
as a jump-off point for there most popular title of that time: Doom. By the
end of the decade, Activision took over the Castle Wolfenstein series and re-
leased games for most of the major gaming, as well as, PC platforms. Although
the graphics engine is much improved, the same objectives still seem to be
finding secret areas, collecting treasures, and taking care of the bad guys.
This won't be easy, though, since you will not only have to deal with the
living, but you will also be dealing with the dead. Sit back and enjoy coming
back again as Capt William Joseph Blaskowicz, an army Ranger who has been re-
cruited into the OSA Intelligence community, infiltrates and finds out what the
Nazis are up to.

experimentation, but also of the paranormal activity the Nazis seem so
interested in.

| 10.  GENERAL STRATEGIES |====================================================
+=========================+

These are a list of general strategies for all the objectives that I have found
to be effective. I know that there are many more different strategies out
there. Your input on this would be greatly appreciated and your reward would
be to see it added to this guide and credited appropriately. These are not in
any particular order of importance but some or all may apply to whatever
campaign you are engaged in.

______________________________________________
/ 10.1 If I close my eyes, they can't see me /________________________________
----------------------------------------------

Some of the missions in Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Operation Resurrection
require you to be stealthy. This means no using non-silenced weapons. In
addition, stealth can be a good thing that can conserve ammunition. Your knife
doesn't require a reload and you can save yourself a couple of bullets taking
out an enemy with stealth. Although it may not seem like a lot, sometimes ammo
is a precious commodity in this game. You also can find out what is going on
by sneaking up on enemy positions. Conversations amongst your enemies can
yield a lot of information.

________________________________________
/ 10.2 The Law of Conservation of Ammo /______________________________________
----------------------------------------

Every one of your weapons requires ammunition (except the knife of course).
Without ammunition, you might as well throw the weapon at the enemy to cause
damage. For some weapons, ammunition is very plentiful. For others, though,
ammunition is a precious commodity. Regardless of weapon type, you can only
hold so much ammunition in the clip and on your person. The bottom line is
that you have to learn how to fire in controlled bursts to avoid burning off
all your ammunition in one battle. Learn how to fire three and four round
bursts. This not only conserves ammunition, but it can prevent overheating of
some of your weapons.

_________________________________________
/ 10.2 If it isn't bolted down, take it /_____________________________________
-----------------------------------------

Another big thing is scrounging. Most of the time, the only way you can get
weapons, ammunition, and other items is to take it. Sometimes these items are
sitting on boxes and shelves waiting for you to come along to "borrow" it.
Many times, though, you have to take out enemy troops and gain the spoils of
victory. Remember, some parts of this game are "feast or famine". One level
may have more then you can carry while others have a few crumbs here and there.
Keep stocked up at all times to make sure you don't run out of supplies at that
critical point where you are being attacked by a large group of enemies.

___________________________________________________________
/ 10.3 Enemies will be shot, survivors will be shot again /___________________
-----------------------------------------------------------

Many of the levels require you to go through territory heavily infested by
enemy forces. This means you may have to shoot your way out of many
situations. Instead of going toe-to-toe with the enemy, try to soften them up
first. Use your Kar 95 (Mauser) sniper rifle to pick of enemies at a distance.
This ensures that when you get to that area, you will have significantly less
(if any) enemies to deal with. If you are in a crowded area, use the weapons
that will take out the greatest amounts of enemies. Grenades are great for
dispersing a crowd in a hurry.

____________________________________________
/ 10.4 Memory is a terrible thing to waste /__________________________________
--------------------------------------------

Unless you just want the game to be incredibly challenging, saving is an
important thing to do. The reason for this is if you want to do something
incredibly stupid, or bold, you will have a backup game for right before you
committed this act. It also serves that if for some reason one of your save
games becomes corrupt, then you can always go to another save game instead of
having to restart the game over from scratch. Of course, their are some who
firmly believe in never saving. To those who believe that, all I can say is
good luck.

_______________________________________________
/ 10.5 Sliding isn't only used to gain a base /_______________________________
-----------------------------------------------

If you are going to stay alive, it is critical you learn how to slide instead
of turning and running around. Many enemies (including the bosses), will make
you into Swiss Cheese if you don't know how to maneuver around. Sliding
basically prevents you from becoming a stationary target and it can also help
avoid damage from missed shots. It won't prevent all damage but it sure will
reduce the damage you would have received had you been standing still or
running in circles.

___________________________
/ 10.6 Chasing one's tail /___________________________________________________
---------------------------

Always, always, always, know what your objectives are. Even in the middle of
being chased around, be sure to go to the objectives page and see where you
have to go. If you don't, you may end up running around in circles and end up
becoming just another statistic and a notch on someone's rifle. Make sure you
know what your objectives are and the best way to accomplish your objectives.
You will not be able to leave any of the levels until you have completed all of
your objectives.

__________________________________
/ 10.7 Spend your secrets wisely /____________________________________________
----------------------------------

You get one credit per secret. When you get enough credits, you can buy up-
grades and power-ups (more about this in Chapter 13). Get the upgrades that
will help you win the game. It's great to have 200% health but if you don't
have the ammunition carrying capacity, that just makes your death longer. Same
goes with one time things such as health and armor. I would recommend
spreading out the wealth between health and ammunition with a credit to armor.
This should be more then enough to get your through the game.

+=========================+
| 11.  MISSION STRATEGIES |====================================================
+=========================+

The strategies for the scenarios are what I have used to complete all of the
objectives. These are not the only strategies, just the best that I have
found. If you have others you would like to share, please send an e-mail and
you will be fully credited with that strategy. In the next subchapters, all of
the missions will follow the same basic format. This format is as follows:

Name of the scenario (i.e. EPISODE 1, EPISODE 3, etc.)

Brief blurb about the overall mission.

Below the main mission will be the levels that are part of that main mission.
The levels will have the following layout:

Name of submission (i.e. Part 1: Ras el-Hadid, Part 3: Catacombs, etc.)

Brief blurb about the mission
Mission objectives
Secrets/Treasures (number of each)

Key points to accomplishing your objectives and finishing the scenario. I will
also put (Objective #) to indicate which objective you have accomplished.

At the end of the level, you will be presented with a screen of your stats.
Things such as time to complete, secrets and treasures found, and objectives
completed. You cannot exit a level without completing all of the objectives.
If you have found less then the required number of secrets and treasures on a
level, go back to find them.

I will separate the Secrets/Treasures within the level itself and give in-
structions on how to find these things. I will also list the secrets and
treasures in numerical order as they are found (according to the walkthrough).

There are 86 secrets and 147 treasures total for the game.

At the end of each level, you will be given a running total of what you have
accomplished so far. It will have the following information:

Time : Total time in the game thus far.
Secrets : How many secrets you have found/Total secrets up to that point.
Treasures : How many treasures you have found/Total treasures up to that
                                                  point.
Stealth Kills: How many enemies were shot with silenced weapons.
Knife Kills : Self-explanatory.
Head Shots : Self-explanatory.
Failures : How many times you have failed levels in the game.
Restarts : How many times you have had to restart a level in the game.

In addition, if there is a boss to tangle with, that will also be listed.

It is a very good idea to know about your enemies. Chapter 12 gives more
detail on the enemies encountered.

/ 11.1 EPISODE 1 /____________________________________________________________
------------------

Welcome to sunny Egypt, the land of pyramids and mummies. Unfortunately, you
are not here on a sightseeing trip. Your job, for this mission, is to find out
why the Germans are so interested in this area of Egypt. You will achieve this
by getting documents and listening in on conversations. There is a rumor that
Heinrich Himmler has a SS Paranormal Division operating here. Sounds kind of
spooky.

+-------------------------------+
11.1.1 Part 1: Ras el-Hadid
+-------------------------------+

This level takes you to the entrance of the village of Ras el-Hadid. This is
also a good introduction to learn the controls and dynamics of the game.

Objectives: 1. Destroy all radio equipment.
             2. Make your way through the village.

Secrets/Treasures: 3/2

- You start off in a short alley way. Creep to the corner to your right and
peek around it. You will see a German guard lazily walking his post on the
street. When the guard turns his back, get behind him and sharpen your
knife on his back when the knife icon appears. If you don't raise the
alarm, you get his pistol and some grenades. If you raised the alarm, you
   only get the pistol.

- If you didn't raise the alarm, creep along the right side of the street.
You will eventually come to an archway. Creep inside along the hall until
you see a doorway. Peek around the corner and you will see a guard sitting
their with his back turned to you. Get behind him and insert knife. Pick
up the goodies and head back out again into the street.

- Go to the left side of the street. You will see a stack of crates. Climb
   up to get the ammunition.

- Continue up the street until you come to the left turn in the road. Get
against the building on the left and peek around the corner. You will see
a German guard hanging out by a cart. If you raised the alarm killing the
first guard, this guard will come charging down the road before you can get
to the room with the second German guard.

- Take aim and try to get a head shot on the German soldier. If you miss, you
will have to play "cat and mouse" with him. If you do miss, approach the
area with caution and peek around the corner. The guard will be hanging
around the area somewhere waiting to be taken out.

- After clearing out this area, go up the stairs in the upper left corner of
this area. You will see a small building a little to your right with a
guard in it. Depending on how much noise you made, you may be able to creep
in and use your knife while he repairs a motorcycle. If you can't shoot him
and prepare for another guard to rush you.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- Once the room is cleared, keep following the left wall of this little
building. Make the right turn and you will see a small area covered by some
lattice work. The fist icon will appear to smash the lattice work. Inside
you will find a couple of things to help you out.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Continue to follow the wall around and you will have a building on your left
side. When you come to a door, open it up. Depending on whether the German
guard came out will determine if you meet resistance or not. Take care of
the problem either way then enter the room.

- Follow the right wall and enter the hallway. Follow the hallway around
until you reach some stairs. Creep up the stairs until you can see through
the open doorway and down the hall. A German guard awaits your arrival.
Use your Luger to give him your RSVP.

- Go to the first room on your left and open the door. Relieve the previous
occupant of all the stuff within the room and go back into the hallway again
and go into the room at the end to get even more stuff.

- When you have finished your pilfering, go into the room on the right (the
one with no door) and creep to the open door on the left side. Peek around
the corner and you will see a German guard coming up the steps. Allow him
to get within effective killing range and take him down. Stay put because
another guard comes running up the steps to see what's going on, give him
the same treatment. Make sure you get the binoculars before you leave the
   room.

- When you get on the balcony, keep moving until you get to the stairs. Use
your binoculars and as you are facing the stairs and look around. There may
be some Germans in the area depending on the noise. If all is clear head
down the stairs and follow the right wall.

- When you get to the opening, creep and peek around the corner. There may be
a guard there. If so, take him down. If not, continue creeping into the
room and peeking around the corners. Eventually you will encounter the
guard. Once the guard is eliminated, go into the supply room to collect all
   the stuff.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- After you collect your fill, look for the wall with a small opening covered
by a board. Go over and rip the board off. Your reward is a bar of gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this room and go back into the open area. Creep and turn to your
right. On a balcony above you and to your left is another guard who will
snipe you if you enter the open area. Take him down and head across the
   open area.

- On the other side, go to the opening on the left. Again, creep and peek
around corners. There may or may not be a guard depending if you took them
out already. When you make it down the stairs, you will see a radio
operator with their back turned to you. Take him out and then destroy the
   radio equipment. Objective 1.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #3 *** *** TREASURE #2 ***

- Exit the room and go out. Go to the area where you took out the sniper.
You will see a ladder to the right of the balcony. Climb up the ladder and
get on the balcony. Collect the Mauser and go to the crate at the end.
Smash open the crate to get another treasure.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go back down the balcony and head back to the doorway where you went to the
radio room. Instead of going down the stairs, creep around and peek around
the corner to your right. A German guard is standing there. Take him out
   and exit this level.

- Follow the wall until you come to an opening. Creep along and you will see
a German guard approaching down the hallway. Eliminate him and exit the
   town. Objective 2.

+-------------------------------+
11.1.2 Part 2: Ras el-Hadid
+-------------------------------+

You are in the middle of Ras el-Hadid and you will need to get a hold of
another agent while gaining access to the rest of the town.

Objectives: 1. Contact Agent One by radio.
             2. Gain access to second courtyard.
             3. Locate a better weapon.

Secrets/Treasures: 4/2

- Head down the corridor and make a right turn. When you get down the stairs,
head into the alcove on the right. Peek around the corner and you will see
a German guard walking lazily down the road from right to left. When he
passes the opening, move toward him. When you get behind him, use your
   knife to take him out.

- Once you have cleared out this guard, turn around and head for the open
doorway at the end of this road.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- Before going in the open doorway, turn left on the road. It will end at a
balcony. Below the balcony is some lattice work. Break through the lattice
   work to collect some items.

- Go back up the road and creep left into the doorway. You will see a radio
operator. The operator will turn left and head up the stairs to the left.
Get behind him and use your trusty knife.

- Go back to the radio equipment and contact Agent One. Objective 1.

- After chatting with Agent One, head up the stairs and go to the door on the
left. Get into creeping position and open the door. You will see a German
officer standing at the table oblivious to where you are at. Circle around
the left side so that you can get behind him without him spotting you. When
you are behind him, give him a jab in the ribs with your knife.

- Jump over the railing (to the left of the table) and head for the door on
the left. The gate to the right is locked for now.

- Open the door and creep into the building. You will be in a foyer with a
hall leading off to the left and right. Your goal is to eliminate the three
Germans that are in the dining area and the kitchen. The best way to
accomplish this is to sneak down the hall to your right. Peek around the
corner and take out the German in the kitchen. You will be rushed from two
sides but you will have the kitchen counter protecting you from one di-
rection while you take out Germans entering the doorway you just went
   through.

- When the smoke clears, take a bite of the hot meal to heal up and head be-
hind the counter in the kitchen area.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Look in the corner where the counter sides make a 90 degree angle. You will
see a red button. Press it and look to your left.

- The wall opens up revealing the treasure for your greedy little hands.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Once you have cleared out this area, go back to the door you entered this
building from. Creep out the door and take out the soldier that has
appeared to get the jump on you.

- After you take out the soldier, look across the road. You will notice that
the gate is now open. Go through the gate and make the right turn. You
will see an open doorway on your left. Objective 2.

- Creep around to the corner and peek. You will see a German soldier carrying
a MP-40. This is the weapon you need. If you can, try to take him down.

- Odds are that he already knows that you are there. Instead, back up from
the doorway and let him come in. When he enters, fill him full of lead and
   get his weapon. Objective 3.

- Now, you must enter this courtyard. Be aware of a few dangers. From the
right, you will be rushed by three German soldiers (two of which are packing
MP-40's). In front of you high and to the right is a sniper waiting to end
   your days permanently.

- Here's what you do. Rush out to the little pavilion area in the middle and
hide behind a column. Wait for the German guards to rush out from the
right. When you clear them out, face forward and peek around the corner to
   locate the sniper.

- When you have the sniper located, just slide toward your right until the
sniper is barely in view. Aim your MP-40 at him and let loose with a burst.
This should take care of him.

- After the excitement of the courtyard dies down, head up the stairs to the
right and into the hall. If you didn't kill all three Germans, be sure and
approach the steps carefully to take care of the stragglers.

- Once in the big area, look to your right and you will see a corridor.
Follow this corridor around and you will end up in a supply room.

- Go ahead and fill up your pockets with all the stuff in here.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #3 ***

- After you enter the supply room, go all the way to the back wall and turn
left. Then go forward with the shelves on your left side.

- At the end of little walkway, turn left and kneel. You will see an area you
can break open. Collect the stuff inside.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the supply room and go right. Follow this area around and you will go
up some stairs that curve to the left. You will eventually be at a door.
   Kneel and open the door.

- Peek around the corner and you will see another sniper. Take him down and
enter this room. Be sure to collect the weapons that were "left behind" by
   the dead Germans.

- Follow this room around to another doorway. Go into this room and you will
see a hole in the floor. Kneel and fall through the hole. Collect the
stuff and creep out of this room and peek around the corner.

- Down the hall you will see a German guard. Take him down and be prepared
for another guard to come out from a room across the hall. Take him out
also and head down the hallway.

- You will see a door on your left, bar area in the middle, and another area
behind the bar with a door on the right. Head over to the bar and prepare
for a couple of Egyptian guards to crash through. Mow them down in the
   doorway.

- Once you've cleared them out, head back up the hall. Be prepared because
another German guard comes from the doorway on the right.

- Take him down and head back to the bookcases.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #4 ***

- Move along the bookcase until you see a book sticking out. Push the book
and the bookcase opens to reveal its secret.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go back to the door behind the bar. If the guard didn't rush out from this
area, then open the door and deal with him. If he did, then just head up
the walkway to exit this level.

11.1.3 Part 3: Ras el-Hadid
+-------------------------------+

Well, you have almost made it out of this town. Doesn't seem like you have
learned a lot except for knifing or shooting German and Egyptian soldiers.
Oh well, at least you get to hone your fighting skills a bit. This is the
last you will have to deal with this town. After this, the action is ready to
start.

Objectives: 1. Contact Agent One by radio.
             2. Infiltrate the Nazi headquarters.
             3. Obtain Nazi documents.

Secrets/Treasures: 3/4

- When you start this level, turn right and creep down the curving alley.
Eventually you will see a German guard go into a room on the right.

- Follow behind and open the door. The guard will have his back to you.
Teach him a lesson about turning his back to things.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- Go into the room and look between the two wine casks on the left. You will
see a third cask on the floor. Kick the cask apart and you will see a
cabinet. Break open the cabinet to get your prize.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the wine cellar and go to your right. You will exit this alley. Turn
right and go behind the building in front of you. Peek around the corner
and you will see a couple of German guards come out to get a breath of air.
Help them out with your MP-40.

- Go into the building and follow the corridor to the left. You will come to
a room where a guard has his back to you. Sneak up on him and use the
knife. Eat the meal if needed.

- Exit the room and go into the foyer to the left. Sneak around to the door.
If you were noisy taking care of the officer in the other room, a guard
   will rush through this door.

- Open the door and take care of the guard outside. Creep around the building
and you will see an alley to your right. You may have to kill a guard at
the gate. Once you do, the gate is open.

- Look to the left and you will see a door. Open the door and sneak inside.
You will see a radio operator with his back to you. Sneak up and use your
knife on him. Then use the radio equipment to call Agent One. Objective 1.

- After contacting Agent One, exit this room. When you get to the door, kneel
and open it up. You will be assaulted by two German guards. Take care of
them and head for the wooden gate.

- Look through the gate and you will see a few Germans in this area behind a
truck and on the balcony. Before you rush in, wait for Agent One. He will
appear on the roof high and to your right. When he starts to fire upon the
Germans, creep out and assist. Since their attention is on him, they won't
   know what hit them.

- When this area has been totally cleared out, go to the well that is in this
   area.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Kick open the boards covering this well and jump in. You will see the gold
in an alcove at the bottom. Use the ladder to get out.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go across this open area to a building with stairs leading up to the door.
Open the door and head inside. Follow it around until you see stairs in
   front of you. Objective 2.

- Sneak up to the stairs and look to your right. There are a pair of German
guards just begging to be shot. Accommodate them.

- Go up the stairs and peek down the hallway. You will see another German
guard at the far end. Take care of him and head up the hallway.

- Kneel and open the door to the room on your left. A guard is waiting for
you. Take him down and empty the room. Objective 3.

- Leave the room and head for the room at the end of the hall. Enter this
   room and get more stuff.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #3 *** *** TREASURES #3 AND #4 ***

- Look for the picture on the wall. Go over and take the picture down (shoot
or stab). Once removed, a switch is revealed. Use the switch and a hatch
opens up in the floor by the door. Grab the gold and run.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go to the balcony and get ready to jump from the window. Before you do,
take care of any guards firing on you. Once the area is cleared, hop down
   and follow this area around.

- Before you enter the big area, you hear the sounds of a firefight. Peek
around the corner and you see Agent One busy taking care of business. Help
him out and move to the exit to leave this level.

+--------------------------------+
11.1.4 Part 4: Ancient Ruins
+--------------------------------+

Well, you finally made it through the town. Now it's time to see what's going
on and why the Nazis are so interested in ancient Egyptian cultures. This
level will take you through the entrance to the main dig site itself.

Objectives: 1. Investigate and proceed through the ruins.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/2

- You start this level by facing a truck with a small shack to your right.
Shoot the guard that you see through the window. Another guard will come
charging out of the building. Take care of him as well and get into the
   building.

- This alerted the other German guards who will come running to the shack.
You can look out the window and see a couple of them sneaking around. Take
care of them either on the ground or when they try to enter the shack. Grab
   first-aid if you need it.

- Exit the shack and dart behind the trucks. By now, a couple of other guards
may be heading for you. Take them out and head for the small shack on the
   other side of this compound.

- Kneel, open the door, and blast the guard within. Take anything you like
and exit the building. Go either left or right to take care of any other
   guards headed toward your position.

- When the coast is clear, head toward the ramps where the guards came down
from. When you get to a building, peek around the corner. The guards will
see you and start to rush your position.

- As each guard crosses in front of you, mow them down. By the time the
shooting stops, there will be a pile of bodies in front of you.

- Head into this big open area and you will see an obelisk. Turn left and
head through the open doorway. Sneak around to the next open doorway. You
will see a German soldier standing with his back turned and an oil drum next
to him. Yep, that's right, shoot the oil drum.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- The explosion from the oil drum blew away part of the wall. Go up to this
new opening and get the gold chalice.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this area and head across the open area to the other opening where all
the guards were rushing from. This part will involve a little trickery.

- There are three German guards in the room ahead. If you rush in, they will
quickly cut you down. The best way is to rush far enough forward to entice
them. Once they are chasing you, back up quickly while shooting and go to
either side of the opening. Then pick off the guards as they exit.

- Go into this open room and go to the crates. Another soldier waits at the
top of the stairs to your left. Take him down and proceed.

- Sneak into this next area and look to your left. Up the ramp is another
soldier. Take him out. Another soldier may come from the room in front of
you. Take him down if he does.

- Go into the next room and take care of the soldier (if you didn't already)
and head toward your right and another set of stairs.

- Sneak down the stairs and peek around the corner. There is a soldier in the
corner of the room. Take him out and collect whatever is in the room. Head
back toward the stairs but down go up all of them. Another German soldier
   awaits.

- Usually that soldier will throw down a grenade to clear out the area, then
come down the stairs. Wait for the grenade to go off then greet the soldier
   accordingly.

- Another soldier awaits you in the next room. Take care of him.

- Now, head up the ramp. When you get to the first landing, look to your left
to see a wall with a lot of cracks.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #2 ***

- Shoot up the wall and it will break apart. When you go to it you will find
a gold bar for your troubles.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Continue going up this ramp until you get to a wide open area. Don't go
rushing out because there are a couple of German soldiers ready to end your
   career.

- Take out the one to the right and go into a small room to your right.
Another soldier may rush you. Take care of him. If he doesn't rush you, go
out of the room and eliminate him that way.

- When the smoke clears, head for the doorway on the other side of the big
crack. If you accidentally fall through the crack, you end up in the room
   that contained Secret #1.

- Go through the doorway to exit the level. Objective 1.

+---------------------------------+
11.1.5 Part 5: Burial Chamber
+---------------------------------+

Looks like you only scratched the surface. You still need to find your way to
the lower levels to see what the Nazis are up to. Time to take on more guards
in order for you to go down lower.

Objectives: 1. Find an entrance to the tombs.
             2. Gain access to the lower tombs.

Secrets/Treasures: 3/3

- Go out of this little area and turn left. You will see a large courtyard in
front of you. Creep to the doorway and peek around the corner. You will
see a couple of guards milling about. Take them down.

- Go into the courtyard and get to one of the pillars. Another guard has come
out to see what the commotion is: Permanently deafen him.

- Once the courtyard is cleared, face the scaffolding that is to the left side
of the area where you entered the courtyard at.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- After you climb to the top of the scaffolding, you will see a gold bar in an
open crate. It's there for the taking

_______________________________________________________________________________

- You can go to the top of the other scaffolding for more ammunition.

- Once you have stocked up, exit through the tunnel and follow it around.
After you get to the second room, creep around until the open area outside
is in view. You will see a couple of guards. Take them down and enter this
   area.

- Move around the small building so it is to your right. Creep around it and
you will see another soldier attempting to ambush you. Eliminate that
   threat.

- Exit the area through the hole in the floor of the small building.
   Objective 1.

- When you get up, follow the corridor out to a small room. Go down the
corridor to a set of stairs. Go up the stairs and peek to your right. You
will see a German guard. Shoot him. Another guard will come from the left.
   Take him out also.

- After you clear the stairs, go up and follow the corridor around. You will
eventually come to a big room with pillars in it. Now things will heat up a
   little.

- If you go into the open doorway, a sniper waits for you directly across the
way. In addition there are several guards in this room.

- Creep to the edge of the doorway and fire a burst across the room to take
out the sniper. Then turn to the right to take out a guard.

- Creep out a little more and take out the three guards to the left. Creep
further out of the room and take out the guards on the landing to the left.

- Once the room is cleared out, go to the right from the doorway you entered
the room from. You will go up a short flight of stairs and you will be in
a small room. Look to your left and you will see a discolored wall.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #2 ***

- After you break the wall, activate the switch. Turn around and you will see
   an opening in the wall.

- Carefully go across the narrow bridge since there is a spiked pit on either
side. Grab the statue and head out again.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this room and go into the corridor across the room. When you approach
the ladder, a guard will throw down a grenade. Back up quickly. When the
grenade goes off, go quickly up the ladder and take care of the guard.

- Follow the crawlspace around until you get to a room.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #3 *** *** TREASURE #3 ***

- There is a gold switch on the wall. Push it and a panel on the opposite
wall opens. Get the chalice and head out of this area.

- Grab the scoped Mauser from this room and exit back to the main area.

- Head to the elevator and press the button to bring it to the room. When it
arrives, be prepared to take out a German guard.

- Once he's eliminated, hop on the elevator and prepare to go to the lower
   tomb area. Objective 2.

+-------------------------------+
11.1.6 Part 6: Buried Alive
+-------------------------------+

Now the fun starts. You finally have a chance to get to the heart of the
matter. Of course, it seems that some of the Nazis have been dabbling in
things that the living were not meant to dabble in.

Objectives: 1. Pursue SS Paranormal personnel through the tombs.
             2. Locate the exit from the tombs.

Secrets/Treasures: 3/4

- Once the elevator stops on the platform. Creep over to the edge of the
platform toward the door and peek over. Equip your Mauser and drop the
   guard.

- Drop off the platform and get your MP-40 ready. Go around the pillars and
take out the guard in front of the store room. Go in and stock up.

- Press the switch next to the door to open it. Go in and down the ladder.
Creep up to the doorway and you will be greeted by a zombie.

- Send the zombie back to the ground and creep into the hallway. There may
or may not be a guard depending on how successful he was in repelling a
zombie. Either way, make sure he is taken care of.

- Go down the hallway to the next room and another zombie greets you. Turn
   it to dust.

- Keep going down the hallway and when you get near the end, spin around and
you will see another zombie that was trying to sneak up on you. Take it
   out.

- When you get to the room, go into the next room and use the switch to open
   up the door.

- When you go through the door, you will see a set of stairs. Looks are
deceiving. These stairs actually harbor a deadly blade trap. Get a running
start and jump up and over the stairs to avoid the trap.

- Keep going into the next room and up the next flight of stairs. Follow the
hallway and you will hear the sounds of battle. Apparently a guard is being
overwhelmed by a couple of zombies.

- Kill or destroy everything and continue down the hall.

- You will enter a small room with pillars.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- Go to the doorway on the left and look to the right side. You will see a
dark brick. Just wait until the hand icon shows and press that brick.

- Turn around and go to the opposite side to find another similar brick.
   Press it.

- On the wall in between these two bricks an alcove will open. Grab the
   statue.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- After collecting the treasure head out of this room. You will enter another
hallway. A zombie breaks through from the far wall. Destroy it and spin
around to take out the zombie sneaking up behind you.

- Follow the hall around. Go up a short flight of stairs and you will be on
   a landing.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #2 ***

- You will see a semi-broken wall. Finish the job and collect the gold bar
   within.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Creep up the next flight of stairs and you will hear another firefight. A
guard is trying to escape from something. Take him out.

- Continue to creep through the room and peek into a larger room. Apparently
the guards are up to their necks in zombies. Help finish off both sides and
   enter the room.

- Go up the stairs into the next hall to take care of a zombie having a snack.
Turn around and go back to the room you exited to eliminate a zombie that
   just broke out.

- Now head back up the hallway and sneak up to the doorway. Another guard is
hanging out there. Take him down and enter the room.

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET #3 *** *** TREASURES #3 AND #4 ***

- Look to the right near the coffins and you will see a switch. Activate it
and a wall will open up. Collect the two gold bars.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- After collecting the treasure, turn around and another zombie will be
gunning for you. Take him out.

- Exit the room and you will enter a corridor that goes left and right. You
will notice a light colored area on the floor. This is the switch for a
spike trap farther up the hall. This trap also exists on the other side.

- Go to each side and look for a zombie. When you have its attention, stand
next to the trap switch. When the zombie passes over the trap, activate it
to destroy the zombie. Run up the hall and jump over the trap.

- In the next room, another zombie breaks out of the wall intent on helping
you join their ranks. Take him down. Pull the switch on the wall to open
the metal gate on the floor below (you passed it when the two zombies
   attacked you earlier). Objective 1.

- Go through the new doorway and creep up the hall. Take out the guard that
is coming toward you. Gather your supplies and head toward the big room.
You will see five zombies out and about.

- A couple of the zombies are going after another guard. Clear the room of
the remaining zombies and take out any other zombies or humans.

- The right corner pillar is hollow (as you look from the door you entered).
Inside are a couple of guards. If you hit the doorway at the right angle,
you will set off a barrel taking out the guards. If not, just shoot them
   up.

- When you are done, enter the room and god down the ladder. The level is
   completed. Objective 2.

More undead excitement awaits as you try to get out of the tombs. You now
know that a Helga von Bulow seems to be the party responsible for all this
mayhem. In addition to dealing with the dead, you will soon have to deal with
the Elite Guards.

Objectives: 1. Pursue Helga von Bulow.
             2. Eliminate all of von Bulow's personal Elite Guards.
             3. Locate the airfield.

Secrets/Treasure: 4/5

- You start off in a small room. You will see a zombie shuffling up the
corridor. Stand fast and the zombie will activate a trap which destroys
   it.

- Head up the corridor and jump over the trap the zombie showed you. When
you turn right up the corridor, another two zombies want to play. Oblige
them with the business end of a MP-40.

- Sneak up to the corner and peek around. You will see a guard looking all
around. Take him out and wait for another guard to investigate. Deal the
   same fate to him.

- Follow this hall down and then turn right and follow that hall down and
around. Make a right at the corridor and follow it to the end.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Backtrack to the corridor you emerged from and make a right. Sneak onto the
ledge in the next room. There are a couple of guards below. Take them out
and follow the walkway around until you are at the middle, left wall.

               *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #2 AND #3 ***

- Press the switch in the middle of the wall and turn around. A sarcophagus
   opens up opposite, down below.

- Drop down off the ledge and go over to the sarcophagus to claim two gold
   bars.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Before leaving this room, there is a sunken area in the floor with four
pictures. Remember the order of these pictures.

- Exit the room using either tunnel. Both have a zombie waiting to eat your
   brain.

- When you get to the point where the tunnels merge together, there is another
tunnel. Go in and activate the switch.

- Backtrack back to the room that had the statues of Anubis in it. The far
wall is now open revealing another switch that needs activating. Activate
   the switch.

- You have now opened a new doorway. Take out the zombie in this corridor and
head forward. Peek around the corner and you will see a guard on the
landing above taking shots at you. Shoot him off his perch and head up the
   corridor.

- Head down the corridor and up the short set of steps to the landing.

- On the wall are four pictures that are obviously out of order. Your job is
to press them in the correct order. Failure means instant death. After you
press the first picture, gates will enclose the area and you will only have
a small amount of time to get it right.

- The order (for those of you who forgot) is top left, bottom right, bottom
left, top right. When done, a wall opens behind you. Turn around and
   grab the treasure.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Continue to follow this walkway around the room. After you go around the
first left turn, prepare for zombie trouble. Quickly take care of this
zombie because another breaks out behind you.

- After clearing out the zombies, follow the walkway to the end. Activate the
   switch and prepare for trouble.

- Two guards will enter the big room below you. Do some sniper practice and
take them both out. When the room is cleared, jump down into it.

- Go to the doorway and you will see a room with stairs going up on either
side. Creep up the stairs to see another guard doing battle with a zombie
in the hallway. Make sure both are eliminated.

- Go up the next set of stairs and you will see an Elite Guard at the far end
who may very well be taking shots at you. Retreat back down the stairs and
go to the cover of either side of the doorway. This will allow you to
ambush the Elite Guard since she will follow you.

- Continue back up the stairs, down the hall, and down another set of stairs.
Again, another room with stairs going down on either side.

- Creep along one of these staircases until you see a large room. If you go
into this room, two Elite Guards will make you into Swiss Cheese. To add to
your excitement, if you go into this room, both doorways to the staircases
   will be sealed off.

- The best solution is to get out your Mauser and slowly creep along the
staircase until an Elite Guard shows her head. You may have to use yourself
as bait but they will come to you.

- Once the room is cleared, go to the stairs on the other side of the room.
At the end is another switch for you to play with. Activate it to open the
   door in front of you.

- Slowly creep down the stairs because another Elite Guard is awaiting your
arrival. Show your appreciation with a lead shower. Objective 2.

- Once she has been taken care of, enter the room and collect the goods. You
can exit this level from either side tunnel. Objectives 1 and 3.

/ 11.2 EPISODE 2 /____________________________________________________________
------------------

Well, the good news is that you managed to get out of Egypt with a lot of
valuable information. The bad news is that you couldn't deliver said in-
formation because your plane was shot down and you were captured. This now
means you have to escape from Castle Wolfenstein and find out what Helga von
Bulow and the rest of the SS ghost hunters are up to. After Egypt, anything is
possible.

+--------------------------+
11.2.1 Part 1: Escape!
+--------------------------+

Well, this scene opens up with you in a prison cell. Apparently one of the
doctors is attempting to extract information from Agent One in another room.
When the guard comes to your cell, you manage to get the drop on him.

Objectives: 1. Escape the dungeon by any means necessary.
             2. Locate Agent One.
             3. Locate the exit to the lower keep.

Secrets/Treasures: 0/0

- The first thing you need to do is get the Luger. You won't be using it any
time right now since the guards are more heavily armed then yourself. Equip
the knife and sneak out of your cell.

- Follow the hallway around until you get to a large room with a large red
swastika flag hanging on the wall. Make a right and follow the stairs down
and continue going down the hallway.

- You will come to a set of windows. Look inside to see a man in a green
smock washing his hands. Go into the door and he will make a mention about
orders not being followed. Quickly get behind him and use your knife. You
   don't want the alarm raised.

- Once he is taken care of, go over to the table with the body on it. Make
sure you duck to avoid the electric bolts flashing around. It seems that
Agent One didn't make it. You can play with the switch to make Agent One
smolder and read the note the good doctor wrote. When you are done, go
through the metal gate to the right of the sink. Objective 2.

- Turn left and sneak up the stairs. There is a guard at the top who seems to
be dozing off. Help him permanently get some sleep. Then backtrack to the
   metal gate you exited.

- Look across the hall and you will see another metal gate. Go through it and
collect any supplies you may need and exit via the door at the back of the
   room.

- You will go down some stairs. At the bottom is a locked door and a wooden
floor. If you kneel and face the floor, you will realize that you can break
the boards apart. Do so and then drop through the opening you created.

- Sneak along the passage until you hear a couple of guards talking to one
another. Get a little closer so you can see them. Use your Luger and send
   both to their early grave.

- Follow the remainder of the tunnel into a room. You will see a staircase
along the far wall. To your right is a metal grate. If you look across the
water, you will see another room. There may be guards in it. If you see
   them, shoot them.

- Go up the stairs and through the door. Go through the next two doors then
sneak over to the ledge. Depending on if you hit any of the guards from the
other room will determine how many are left. This room starts with three
guards. Peek over the ledge and pop any guards you see.

- Once this room is cleared out, go down the stairs and to the door. Open the
door and head up the spiral staircase.

- After you exit the staircase, sneak up the next set of stairs and a German
guard is at the top, back turned to you. Give him the old knife trick.

- Head up the stairs into a dining area. Grab a meal if needed then creep
over to the barred window. You will see a guard across the way. Steady
your aim and take him down. Another guard will rush in to see what's going
on, take him out as well. Then exit through the door.

- Go down the hallway to the stairs. Creep down the stairs and you will see
a guard pacing around below. Take him out and look to the right. Another
guard may come out of that area. If not, go all the way down the stairs,
peek around the right corner until the other guard is in view. Take him
   down.

- Collect the goods from this room and go to the door. Use the lever on the
right wall to open this door. Go through this door and through a room to
the far right door. Exit through this door to end the level. Objectives 1
   and 3.

+--------------------------+
11.2.2 Part 2: Escape!
+--------------------------+

Well, you made it from the first part of the castle. There is still more
ground to cover to fully get out of the castles lower area. Of course, the
Germans will be expecting something to happen so you need to stay on your toes.
Use stealth when you can so you don't have to deal with a bunchof enemy troops
swarming all over you.

Objectives: 1. Destroy all radio communications gear.
             2. Find a map of the local village.
             3. Locate the exit to the lower keep.

Secrets/Treasures: 7/9

- Head down the hallway to the short flight of stairs going up. Creep up the
stairs and you will see a couple of guards hanging around. Take them down.
Once they are taken care of, follow the other stairs up to a door.

- Go through the door and up another flight of steps. Crouch and open the
door. A guard is at the other end of this walkway. Take him down and pro-
   ceed forward.

- You will go through another door and get to a "T" intersection. A spiral
staircase goes up to your left and down to your right.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- Take the staircase to your right and go to the bottom. Under the stairs is
a wooden panel. Kick the panel out to retrieve some goods.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Take the staircase left and up. You will go around a couple of times before
you see a door on the left. Creep over to the door and open it. A guard is
at the base of some stairs. Take that guard out. Another guard comes
running across the compound, deal him the same fate.

- Once both guards are cleared out, go across the courtyard to the building
the second guard came out of. You are now in a barracks. Rob it blind.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- Go between the second and third beds and kneel down. You will be able to
smash the bricks in the ground. Once open, you are rewarded with a shiny
   gold bar.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the barracks and go back up the steps you entered this area from.
Continue to go up the spiral staircase until you get to a door. Open the
door and take care of the soldier who is standing next to the wall.

- Go around the tower and you will see some boards on the roof. Kneel down
and break the boards apart to reveal another room. Before you hop in, clear
the room of soldiers from above.

- Once the room is cleared out, hop down into it. Go over to the alarm box
and kill the alarm. Then go over to the radio set and break it up.
   Objective 1.

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET #3 *** *** TREASURES #2 AND #3 ***

- Go to the map next to the alarm switch and break it apart. Inside are two
   gold bars for your collection

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head toward the window that is next to the radio gear. Before heading out
the window, take a quick peek with your binoculars because a sniper is
roosting over on the other side. When all is clear, jump from the window to
   the walkway below.

- Sneak up the stairs. At the top look left to find the sniper. Take him
down and take the Mauser. Now you are a threat to be dealt with.

- Follow this balcony around until you come to a door. Open the door and deal
with the guard on the other side of the room. Head into the room until you
get to the floor that looks broken up. Stay to the side because there are
soldiers down below disintegrating the floor in their big to kill you.

- Either shoot or blast the soldiers below with a grenade. Once the room is
   clear, drop down into it.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #4 ***

- Turn so you are facing a brick archway. Go over to it and give it a few
kicks. The wall collapses and allows you to take what is within the secret
   area.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the archway and head toward the door across this room. Open the door,
kneel, and peek around the corner. There are a few soldiers that need to be
dealt with. A good way is to shoot one and get the others to rush to you.
Stand back from the door and let them get taken out one by one.

- Go down this wide hall to the door. Go through the door and make a right.
Go to the door and prepare for some more action. Clear out the guards and
enter the room. You may have other visitors from the other door. Deal with
them accordingly. Be sure and get the map of the village off the table.
   Objective 2.

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET #5 *** *** TREASURES #4 AND #5 ***

- You will see a pretty picture of Hitler to the left of the fireplace. Get
out your knife and rearrange his looks. Your reward is a gold bar.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the room through the other door. You will be in a short hallway.
Cross it and open the next door and go in the room.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #6 *** *** TREASURE #6 ***

- Go to the left alcove. The hand will appear so go ahead and press it. Go
to the right alcove and you will see a pretty chalice for your collection.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Backtrack to where you originally entered the first room. Go down the hall.
After you go around the corner, go through the door to your right.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #7 *** *** TREASURES #7, #8, AND #9 ***

- Look to the left side of the door you just entered. You will see a candle-
stick that is off center. Turn around and the wall has opened next to the
fireplace. Go into the passage to retrieve your three bars of gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the room and continue to head down the hallway. After you turn the
corner, go to the door on the left side if you are low on supplies.

- After you are finished, exit through the door at the end of the hall to
   finish the level. Objective 3.

+------------------------------+
11.2.3 Part 3: Castle Keep
+------------------------------+

Once again, the good news is that you managed to get out of the lower depths
of the castle. The bad news is that every Kraut is on high alert and any
suspicious sound will draw them in like flies to honey. This means use your
knife whenever possible to avoid alerting other soldiers. If that doesn't
work, set yourself up in such a way to deal more damage then you receive.

Objectives: 1. Destroy all radio communications gear.
             2. Locate tram entrance.

Secrets/Treasures: 4/7

- You will start in a hallway. Go to the first door on your right, get into
sneaking position and open the door. A German is looking out the window.
Sneak up on him and use your knife.

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Go to the painting of a soldier and tear it down. Activate the lever.

- Look above the fireplace and you will see a flag hanging. Your goal is to
jump onto the fireplace mantle to get to that flag.

- Get a chair and toss it on the table. Make sure the chair is right on the
   edge closest to the fireplace.

- Get on top of the chair and face the fireplace. You will have to run and
jump and the same time to get onto the mantle. It may take a few attempts.

- Once on the mantle, slice the flag up with your knife and three gold bars
   are yours.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this room and continue going down the hall (Note the locked door to
your left before you leave this room. You can return later for the goods
inside). Sneak to the corner and peek around. You will see two German
soldiers in the big hall down below. The only way to take care of them is
to pick them off from your high perch.

- Once they are taken care of, go down the stairs. On your left is a doorway
out. Sneak over to the doorway and peek around the corner.

- A couple of soldiers sit on the balcony above the hallway. Shoot them off
their ledge and head down that hallway.

- You will then go up a spiral staircase. At the end is an open courtyard.
Sneak into the courtyard and you will see a soldier. Take him down and head
   back to the opening.

- A couple of other soldiers will come out to investigate what's going on.
   Take them down as well.

- Once you have cleared the ground of soldiers, it's time to take care of
   problems up high.

- Walk backwards from the doorway you entered the courtyard. Keep looking up
and eventually a German sniper will come into view. Shoot him and the
   courtyard is clear.

- Look to your right and you will see a door with a red light above it. Go to
   and enter the hallway.

- Go down the hall. You will see a door on your right. This leads back into
the main hall where you started. Keep going straight and the hall turns
   left.

- Keep going down the hall to the last door on the left. Open the door and
take care of the guard. Get whatever you need.

- Exit this room and go back up the hall. Go through the door on the left
(you passed it going to the room). You will now be on the balcony that the
two soldiers were firing at you from. Cross the bridge and turn off the
alarm located on the left wall.

- Go up the short set of stairs and take out the guard in the small room.
Destroy the communications gear and go to the switch on the left wall and
activate it. This opens the door in the room you got the first treasures
   from. Objective 1.

- Head back to the room you just opened for more supplies. Now go back to the
   courtyard again.

- This time, instead of going to the door with the red light, you will be
going toward the door on the balcony above it. Take care of the guard that
is in front of this door.

- Go through the door and head down the hall. Turn right and go through the
door on the left. Collect the goods and exit again. Go to the stairs and
   go down.

- At the bottom of the stairs, turn right. Open the door and you will find
yourself in a wine cellar. In addition, two German soldiers seem to be
enjoying their stay down here. Help them with hangover relief.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #2 ***

- Go between the two barrels of wine on your left. Press the brick sticking
out and turn around. One of the wine racks has swung open to reveal a
secret area. Get the goodies within.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head out of this room and move down the hallway. Be wary of any German
soldiers that heard you playing in the wine cellar. After winding around
a little, you will end up at a dining area.

- There are quite a few German soldiers gathered around. Again, the best way
is to retreat in the doorway and let them come at you singly.

- Once you have cleared out the dining area, head down the hallway. Go into
the door to your right to get some first aid and ammunition.

- Exit and go into the room across the hall (the one with a red light).

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET #3 *** *** TREASURES #3 AND #4 ***

- Go to the far corner of the room opposite the oil drum in the other corner.
Shoot it and blow a hole in the wall. You are rewarded with two gold bars.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this room and turn right. Turn off the alarm (again) on the wall. Go
into the second door on the right and enter the room.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #4 *** *** TREASURES #5, #6, AND #7 ***

- Go to the bulletin board above the desk and break it apart. Inside are
another two gold bars and a gold helmet.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the room and go up the stairs to a doorway. Open the door and take
care of the guard that runs into the room. Go through the door the guard
   came out of.

- Follow the hall to another door. Go through the door and it leads outside.
Take care of the soldier heading up the stairs and then go to the MG-42 on
the wall. It's time to let loose on the troops in the area.

- After you have cleared out the Germans, go down into the area and go into
the room to your left and another room under the bridge to get supplies.

- Now you will need to backtrack to the courtyard via the wine cellar. Watch
out for a couple of German soldiers in the dining area where you took out
   the lone German soldier earlier.

- When you exit onto the balcony, it appears that some German soldiers have
taken over the courtyard again. Clear them out with your Mauser.

- After you have reclaimed the courtyard, go toward the stone archway to your
left. You will see a ladder on it. Climb it to get loose weapons.

- Go back down the ladder and go through the opening to finish the level.
   Objective 2.

+----------------------------+
11.2.4 Part 4: Tram Ride
+----------------------------+

Well, it looks like you are almost home free. You are now at the tram that
leads from the castle to a village. Of course, it wouldn't be proper if it was
that easy to escape. The Germans are still looking for you so be prepared for
a few more firefights along the way.

Objectives: 1. Restore power to the tram.
             2. Escape from Castle Wolfenstein.
             3. Meet Kessler in the village of Wulfburg.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/3

- Go down the hall and go into the room on the right to get some needed
   ammunition and healing.

- Exit the room and continue down the corridor and up the stairs. At the
door, crouch and open the door. Take out the technician repairing the
   tram.

- Turn right and head down the stairs. There are a couple of soldiers waiting
to be shown the other side; help them along. Go into the room and turn on
the power to the tram. Objective 1.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- Go to the low panels near the pulley. Crouch down and the hand icon will
appear. Open the door and grab a bar of gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go to the tram and turn on the control box and climb aboard. Objective 2.

- When the next tram station comes into view on the right, get ready for some
action. There are a couple of soldiers on the platform and one in the
office. Pick off the soldiers (if possible) from the tram to make your life
   easier.

- After you clear this station, go to the right and go up a ladder.

- When you get to the next platform, go around and go down the ladder to a
trap door. Open the door. Before going down, look around because there is
a soldier waiting for you. Take him out from above.

- After clearing the control room, go down and activate the switch.

- Get back to the tram and turn on the control box and climb aboard to finish
   your journey.

- Again, when the station comes into view, soldiers are waiting for you. Take
out the two soldiers firing at you from the small building. Another soldier
will come through the lower door. Deal with him as harshly.

- Enter through the door the last soldier came from. There will be a recessed
area in front of you. A soldier is lurking within that area.

- Pick off the soldier and enter the recessed area.

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Go all the way to the right and turn left. There is a panel on the
machinery that can be opened. Your reward is two gold bars.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go to the ventilation grill to the left of where you entered. Kick it open
and crawl into it. Bust out the grill on the other side and get ready for
   some action.

- There are several soldiers in this room to the right and left. Pop in and
out of the crawlspace and take care of them. You may have to peek around
the corner to take out the ones on the left.

- When you have cleared the area, go through the gate and go into the next
room. Get stocked up on supplies and exit the room.

- Kessler is on the other side of the door and he leads you to another room
to end the level. Objective 3.

Seems like Himmler's Paranormal Division is busy at another dig site in
Germany. You now need to get through the town and find this dig site.

+------------------------------+
11.3.1 Part 1: Dark Secret
+------------------------------+

Objectives: 1. Infiltrate the village through Kessler's secret passage.
             2. Find local partisan contact for additional supplies.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/5

- Gather up all your supplies and follow Kessler. He takes you through a
passage to a wine cellar. You see a German soldier staggering around. Help
   him go to sleep.

- Take the first staircase up. Turn left and sneak up the second staircase.
Peek around the corner and you will see three Germans gathered together.
Let's keep things stealthy. Take them out with the silenced Sten.
   Objective 1.

- Continue to creep down the hall. There are some more German soldiers to be
dealt with. If you were noisy taking care of the first three, the next
group will attack. If you need some first-aid, go into the room to the
right. Remember, don't kill the civilian or it's an automatic failure.

- Continue following this hall and room until you come to a door. Go out that
   door and go right.

- Go into the door on your right and go up the stairs. Go through the door
and continue to follow the hallway.

- When you get to a doorway on the right, go in and gather some supplies.
Exit the room and continue down the hallway.

- Creep up to the last door on the left. Open it and take out the German
machine gunner. Get on the MG-42 and start mowing down the German soldiers
who are coming up the road.

- After you have cleared out the area, jump out of the window, turn right and
   head up the walkway.

- When you reach the left corner, equip your Mauser and kneel down. Slide to
your right while keeping the rifle aimed high. There is a sniper in the
tower overlooking the intersection you were about to enter. Pick him off.

- Quickly equip your other machine gun and be ready for more German soldiers
to come down the road. If they don't come down the road, sneak to the
opposite corner and peek around the corner. If they are a distance away
still, re-equip the Mauser and pick them off.

- After you have cleared the road, another figure appears. Do not shoot him
since he is your partisan contact. Objective 2.

- Before you follow him, turn left and take the ladder up to the tower the
sniper was in to collect his stuff. Go back down the ladder and continue to
follow your contact. He will take you to his home. Stock up on supplies
and leave through the back door.

- Turn left and head for a bridge. Go down the ladder on the bridge and go
through the tunnel. When you are near the end of the tunnel, sneak to end
and peek around the corner. You will see a guard patrolling the area. Take
him out with the Sten so you don't alert the others.

- Go into the door that is almost in front of the tunnel to enter a cafe.

               *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Go behind the bar and look for a switch near the bottom. Pressing it opens
up a bookcase. Go and grab the two gold bars.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this building and turn left and go through the gate. Sneak to the
corner and peek around. You will see a couple of Germans warming themselves
by a fire. Listen to what they are talking about then really warm them up.

- Enter the building they were in front of and take out the two officers who
are lounging around. Continue to go through the building.

- You go through a couple more doors until you come into a big room.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURES #3, #4, AND #5 ***

- Go to the bookcase and look for a book sticking out. When the hand icon
   appears, pull on the book.

- In the corner next to the bookcase the floor drops and stairs appear. Go
down into this secret wine cellar and collect the three gold bars and any
   other goodies.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the room through the other door to complete this level.

11.3.2 Part 2: Dark Secret
+------------------------------+

Well, you are halfway through town. You still need to find out where this big
dig is going on. Of course, the local garrison isn't too keen on letting you
explore unmolested. Again, try to use stealth if possible to make your job
easier.

Objectives: 1. Disrupt local delivery of supplies.
             2. Locate the graveyard at the end of town.
             3. Locate the entrance to the SS Paranormal Division's
                 archaeological dig site.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/3

- Exit the room and follow the passageway. When the truck gets in view, sneak
up a little more and you will see a guard. Take him down before he spots
   you.

- Depending on how noisy your were taking out this first guard, two more may
appear. If they don't, creep up to a building on the right with a loading
dock and take out the two Germans. Go up on the loading dock to the door.

- When you enter the building, there will be a German to your left and right.
Take them out and head for the stairs.

- Creep up the stairs and take out a third guard.

                 ***SECRET #1*** ***TREASURES #1, #2, AND #3***

- Look for a beam against the wall. Get on that beam and move up and toward a
   stack of crates.

- Jump on top of the crates from the beam. Turn and jump on another crate
while heading to a back room.

- Jump off the last crate and you enter the secret area. Jump off the
crate to another containing three gold bars. There are also some weapons
   laying around.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the building and head left. Objective 1.

- From the loading dock, you will see a door to another building. There are a
couple of problems. First, there are three Germans within. Second, there
is a waitress in the room. You can't kill the waitress or you fail. The
solution is to open the door and pick the Germans off as they come out the
   door.

- Once you have cleared out the Germans, head into the building and go up the
stairs. Open the door to the first room on the right and cap the German
standing in there. Collect the goods and leave the room.

- Go to the next room and do the same thing. Then carefully climb out of the
window and onto the ledge. Creep to the edge of the ledge while looking
down. You should see a guard pacing around in the courtyard below. Take
careful aim and end his wanderings.

- Follow the ledge around to the right when you exited the window. At the
next left turn in the ledge, kneel and creep to the window directly in front
of you. There is a German sniper inside waiting for you. Unfortunately, he
is facing the road and isn't expecting you to attack from the rear. Make
   him regret his decision.

- Collect any supplies from this room and go out the window the sniper was
waiting in. On the walkway, go up the stairs and follow the right wall
   around.

- When you get to a wrought iron fence, peek around the right corner of the
building. You will see a guard pacing in the distance. Use your Mauser to
pick him off. Then get ready for another guard to investigate. Take him
   out as well.

- Go into the main courtyard and head toward the left. Another guard is
waiting to make your life miserable, take him down. Go down the stairs and
into the cellar he was guarding. More supplies await your sticky fingers.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #2 ***

- Go back up the stairs. Halfway up, turn left (toward the wall) and jump on
the stone railing. Turn left again and you will see a balcony in front of
you. Go up the stone railing. Then jump from the railing to the balcony to
   get the goods.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head back into the courtyard and go into through the door you passed by.
You will go down some stairs then make a right turn. In the room to your
right are two German officers. Above you, on the second floor, there is a
German guard itching for some action.

- Sneak to the left and look up. Creep around until you just get that guard
into view. Blast him with the Sten. Now go to the room with the officers
and deal the same fate to them.

- Go out through the other door and turn left. Equip the Mauser because there
are a couple of German guards pacing behind the iron gates. Objective 2.

- After you have taken out all you can, go up to the gates to eliminate any
survivors and then head through them. You are now in the cemetery.

- Keep heading straight and you will see a short set of stairs going up to a
stone building. A German guard may be lurking on the other side of this
building unless they already tried to attack you. If they didn't clear them
   out now.

- Before going into the building, collect the dynamite that is in boxes behind
the building. After you do that, enter the building to exit the level.
   Objective 3.

+----------------------------+
11.3.3 Part 3: Catacombs
+----------------------------+

You thought you were done crawling through graves and dead people. This is
just the beginning though. You now get to find out a little more information
on why the SS is so darn interested in making the dead come to life. Of
course, you will once again have to deal with more undead.

Objectives: 1. Locate Professor Zemph's journal.
             2. Pursue SS Paranormal personnel through the catacombs.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/3

- The level starts off by showing three soldiers discussing the latest events.
They are scared and want out. Unfortunately, somebody broke the ladder
trapping them in the lower level. To make matters worse, a few of the
   undead have decided to visit.

- You start off in a little room. Go down the stairs, turn the corner and go
down those stairs. You will then arrive at the hole overlooking the
soldiers. There already may be a firefight going on. Before jumping down,
assist both sides in clearing out this room to make your arrival more
   pleasant.

- Take any supplies from this large room and exit into the hallway. When you
go around the corner, be prepared to take out a zombie.

- Continue up this hall until you are at the entrance to a room. Sneak in
slowly and two zombies will break out of the walls. Back out of the room
and deal with them accordingly. Then re-enter the room again. Clear out
any supplies and head out of this room. Note the doors that you cannot open
   at this time.

- Follow the hallway around until you come to a large, spiked pit. There is
no way down without putting a lot of holes in yourself. Look across to the
other ledge and you will see a wall. Get out the machine gun and shoot at
the wall. After a few shots, the wall will collapse revealing another room.

- Jump from the ledge you're on to the other ledge and enter the room. Turn
left and you will see a switch on the wall. Activate the switch and turn
around quickly since there are two zombies wanting to assist you in joining
   them.

- After you dust the zombies, look for another opening in the wall. A new
panel opened revealing yet another switch. Go over and activate it to make
the spikes recede into the ground.

- The best way to go into the pit is to jump over the gap again. Then ease
yourself to the edge of the ledge your on until you see another ledge below.
Drop on that ledge, then drop to the floor. Three zombies (two from the
walls and one that is wandering) will come after you. Reintroduce them back
   to the afterlife.

- After you clear out the pit area, head toward the room that connects but
don't go in it. You will see a couple of zombies milling around. Help them
   to join their friends.

- After you clear out the room, go to the door on the other side and use the
switch to open it. Go up the stairs and down the hall to the doorway.

- Be careful going out the doorway, a couple of zombies are waiting to ambush
you. Run into the hall and rapidly turn around to give them a lead shower.

- When you dispose of the zombies, turn back toward the open doorway that you
saw when you entered the hall (this is the doorway that was barred earlier
   by the steel gate.

- When you enter the hall, you will be in front of a bridge. As you go across
the bridge, it will collapse putting you into a big room with pillars. Be
on guard because there are a few zombies wandering around this room. Use
hit and run tactics to take them out. Another couple of zombies will break
through the door and wall. Deal with them the same way.

- Exit the room via the only hallway. When you get to the corner, peek around
it to see a couple of Germans looking around for zombies. Help them to join
the dead and enter the room they were in. Professor Zemph's journal sits on
a table, get it. Objective 1.

- Clear the room of stuff and be prepared for an attack from above. A couple
of zombies break out from the ceiling to harass you. Take care of them.

- From where you entered this room, turn left and shoot the wall. It will
cause the wall to collapse and reveal an opening. There are a couple of
zombies on the other side that want to stop you. Deal with them then go up
the dirt embankment into a collapsed room.

- Exit the doorway into a hall. When you turn the corner, you will see a
zombie on the other end of the hall up a short flight of stairs. Destroy it
and go to the area that the zombie came out of. You will be in a small room
   with some coffins.

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Turn to the first coffin on your right and smash it. Your reward is a
   chalice and helmet of gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this room and go back down the stairs. Make a right onto the bridge
and turn left. You will see a wall that just doesn't look quite right.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #3 ***

- Go back to the room that you got Secret #1. Go to the back wall to find a
brick sticking out. Press it and turn around.

- Head back to where you saw that strange wall and you will see it is now
open. Quickly get to it since it is a timed door. Grab the treasure from
inside. If you get locked inside, use the lever to re-open the door.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go back out on the bridge and make a left. Deal with the zombies that try
   to stop you.

- You will come to another "T" intersection with stairs going up either side.
Go up the right side to collect some ammunition from a dead German. Follow
the hallway around and you will see that the other hallway also ends here.

- This next area will be kind of rough. You here gunfire in the distance so
creep into the room to see a German soldier battling a zombie. The German
soldier runs through a door behind him and seals the room off. Note the
fire in the middle in the main room.

- A flaming zombie will rise from the fire. What makes it worse is the fact
that this zombie belches fire toward you like a flamethrower. Take him
down quickly before you get to experience a BBQ firsthand.

- After taking out that zombie watch for two more zombies to come out of the
alcoves on either side of the room where you are at. Dust them and go into
the right alcove to find a switch. Activate it to re-open the door the
   German escaped through.

- Go through that door and you are finished with the level. Objective 2.

+------------------------+
11.3.4 Part 4: Crypt
+------------------------+

Well, it seems the Helga von Bulow has let her ego get in the way. She has
apparently disobeyed orders and is going above and beyond what is required for
the SS Paranormal Division. Of course, you are dealing with the results of
this meddling by having to deal with all the zombies.

Objectives: 1. Pursue SS Paranormal personnel through the catacombs.
             2. Navigate through the catacombs to the Wulfburg Church
                 entrance.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/2

- Head slowly up this corridor. You will hear the sounds of battle in the
distance as the Germans square off with a few more zombies. Sit back and
when the mayhem calms down, clear up any survivors or undead.

- Collect the stuff in the room and head up the hallway. Turn left and head
up the stairs. Be ready for a German guard at the top of the stairs.

- At the top of the stairs, turn to go down the hallway. You will also see a
few coffins shaking and ready to extract their contents into the hall. Be
ready for a couple of zombies to break out and attack.

- After you clear out the zombies, continue heading up the hall. When you
round the corner, be ready for another German guard. Take him out and
continue up the hall. You will hear the sounds of battle in the room ahead.
Let them beat each other up and your job is to do mop up again.

- You will see a cross to your left in this room. Turn right and go to the
back of the room. You will see a switch. Activate it to open one of the
doors at the base of the staircase you climbed to get here. Objective 1.

- Rapidly turn around and deal with the two zombies coming to visit you.
After their disposal, go to the cross.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- Fire some shots into the base of the cross and it will fall to the floor.
This will result in a hole being broken in the floor.

- Go into the next room and collect the goods. Exit the room through the gate
and you will be back at the base of the stairs you went up earlier.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Make a right into the corridor and go down the stairs. Mist covers the
floor as you enter the lower catacombs.

- When you enter the next room. It has a low ceiling and an exit on the other
side. When you go in, both of the doors close. Smells like a trap.

- Three zombies rise from the ground and mists to extend your stay permanently
down here. After you clear them out, the doors open again.

- Don't go rushing into the other corridor since an axe and shield wielding
zombie awaits you. When you go into the hallway, the door closes behind
   you.

- Pick him off and another will join in the fray. Take him out also. Once
the hall is cleared, proceed forward to a large room with three rooms off of
it. Each of these rooms has a symbol above it.

- In order to get the secret, you must enter the halls in this order: Eye,
crane, and ankh. Each room, though, has a trap that you must navigate
   through.

   - The Eye hall has a spiked ceiling trap. The spiked ceiling falls into
the hall at timed intervals. Just wait for it to rise and run in and
push the switch at the back of the hall. Wait for the ceiling to rise
      and exit again.

   - The Crane hall has a deep, spike pit you must jump over to get to the
switch. In addition to that obstacle, once you hit the switch, the walls
close in quickly to crush you. So you need to push the switch, turn
rapidly, and jump over the pit to escape.

   - The Ankh hall has blade traps. Creep into the room and you will see the
floor switches that activate the blades. Sneak around them to press the
switch. Sneak out and you have completed the sequence.

- Go to the platform in the middle of the room and stand on it. It will rise
up and put you into another room above you.

- In front of you is an alcove with a switch. Go and activate the switch to
open a door behind you. First, though, you need to get some riches.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- Go either left or right to the corner. Be prepared to deal with a zombie
either direction you go. Enter the short corridor to enter the secret area
   and collect the treasures.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head around the walkway and go through the opening. You will see paths
going left and right. Go down either one. Make note of the faces on the
   wall.

- Go to the altar and take ***TREASURE #2***. As soon as you do this, the
faces on the wall start belching fire. In addition, the stone pillar in the
middle opens to reveal two axe and shield wielding zombies.

- Either shoot or toss a grenade to make quick work of the zombies. Either
way, make sure you avoid the fire the faces are laying down.

- After you take care of the zombies, the whole area shakes as a big crack
opens up in the floor. Jump into the crack. In the room you jump into, go
through the door to exit the level. Objective 2.

+---------------------------------+
11.3.5 Part 5: Defiled Church
+---------------------------------+

Well, you have made it to the church. It seems that the Germans are pretty
concerned about what's going on. Fortunately, Helga von Bulow has her Elite
Guards to keep everybody in line. This will be a pretty big test since there
are quite a few Elite Guards running around the church and they shoot to kill.

Objectives: 1. Infiltrate Wulfburg Church.
             2. Pursue Helga von Bulow to the ruined cathedral.
             3. Eliminate all of von Bulow's personal Elite Guards.

Secrets/Treasures: 3/3

- You will start in a hallway. Follow the hallway around until you start
hearing some Germans chatting about the goings on around the area. Sneak
up to the opening in the wall to see three German soldiers milling around
while an Elite Guard gives orders for them to settle down.

- Get out the Mauser and practice your sniper practice. The Elite Guard will
be harder to pick off since she is bouncing around the crates while firing
at you. You may have to enter the room to take her down.

- Once you clear out the room, enter it and take the supplies. Head through
the door and go around the hallway until you get to another door. Be pre-
pared to take out the German guard on the other side when you open this
   door.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- There is a crate at the bottom of the stairs. Wait until the hand icon
shows then break the crate open. Collect the goods inside.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- You will see a set of stairs going up. Unfortunately, it won't be an easy
journey up the stairs. A couple of Elite Guards are at the top to stop you.
A good way to take them out is to toss a grenade to stir things up and re-
treat back to the crates. They will follow and allow you to pick them off
   with minimal danger to yourself.

- Once the stairs are cleared head up them. Turn through the doorway, past
some crates, to go up some more stairs. At the top of the stairs, use the
switch to open the first door and head in. Objective 1.

- You are now in a little room with a second door in front of you. Here is
the set up. Beyond that second door are four Elite Guards ready to play.
The thing is, they won't come out until you have fully entered the room.

- Again, the best tactic is to rush in the room to stir things up and retreat
back into the small room you were in. The Elite Guards tend to come in one
at a time to help you further.

- Make sure you count four Elite Guards. If only three come in, that means
another is around the right corner in the doorway. Just pick her off.

- After you have cleared out this room, head toward the altar and go behind
it. Through the next doorway, you will see a bloody body on top of an
altar. Once you enter this room, an Elite Guard pops out of the opposite
doorway to extinguish your life. The Mauser should take care of the
   problem.

- The next room will be kind of a challenge. You will see a ladder leading
up to the loft. The problem is that an Elite Guard is busy throwing
grenades through the opening to prevent you from climbing the ladder.
What's worse, she doesn't show herself so you can't pick her off from
ground level. The only solution is to rapidly climb the ladder, turn
around, and take out the Elite Guard.

- Sneak up to the next door and open it. There will be an Elite Guard on the
balcony to the left taking shots at you. One may also appear in the
opposite doorway. Again, use your handy Mauser to take them out. Head
   across to the other door.

- If the other Elite Guard didn't appear at this door, you will encounter her
   in the next room.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- When you are in the hallway (after the room you took out the other Elite
Guard), look left and you will see a doorway to the balcony that had the
   other Elite Guard.

- Get on the railing and look right, take a running start to jump to the other
balcony. Go to the back, go through the door and collect the treasure.

- Get back to the original balcony again.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Continue down the hall and be ready for another Elite Guard at the end of
the hallway when you open the door. Take care of her.

- You will now have to go down a spiral staircase. When you get near the
end, get ready for some action. An Elite Guard waits under the staircase
while another waits in the hallway. The easiest solution is to toss a
grenade to bounce off the wall to take care of the one under the stairs.
You can then take care of the one in the hallway.

- Go through the hall and get ready for another Elite Guard at the end of the
hall. Take care of her and use the lever to open the gate on the left.

- You will enter a room with stacked crates. All looks calm but looks are
deceiving. There are three Elite Guards waiting to ambush you. The best
solution is to run across to the other door and spin around. The Elite
Guards will attack but you will be able to pick them off since you are
   funneling them in. Objective 3

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET #3 *** *** TREASURES #2 AND #3 ***

- Face the other end of the room and go to the first crate on the right. Go
around and break it open to get the treasure.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go to the end of the room and break the door down. Go through it to exit
   the level. Objective 2.

11.3.6 Part 6: Defiled Church
+---------------------------------+

Well, it seems that Helga von Bulow wants it all. She and Professor Zemph are
arguing about her blatant disregard for orders. Professor Zemph warns her that
if she meddles any more, who knows what horrors will be released. Of course,
von Bulow won't hear anything of this so she kills Zemph. She then enters a
building. In the darkness, you hear her scream. This also fulfills Objective
1.

Objectives: 1. Eliminate Helga von Bulow.
             2. Retrieve the Dagger of Warding for further study.

Secrets/Treasures: 0/0

                             *** BOSS BATTLE ***

- You start off in a hallway. As soon as you walk on the floor, it collapses
into a room below. This room contains everything a secret agent needs.
Wall-to-wall ammunition, weapons, etc. Hmmm, seems like you will be
   battling something big.

- Exit this room and you will go up a dirt embankment. Continue going around
and you will enter a large courtyard with columns. Head toward the left
side and you will see what probably caused von Bulow to scream in terror.

- You will see a large monster on the other side of the gate. He doesn't
really look that happy. In addition, zombies start to rise from the ground.
Not good. First, a little about the big guy:

   - If you get too close, the monster will smack you around taking off
      significant amounts of health.

   - Another attack is his spirit attack. This is much more powerful then the
one used by the zombies. This one will take off health and obscure your
      vision.

   - His indirect attack is to bring zombies around to harass you.

- Now, to take him down. Use either grenades or dynamite when he is at the
gate. You won't have much time until he crashes through the gate. This
   will significantly injure him.

- Retreat back toward the dirt embankment you climbed up to get to this area.
Fire at him while retreating. He will follow.

- By the time you are at the dirt embankment, he will follow you to the wall
with the narrow opening. The good thing is fat, dumb, and gruesome is too
big to fit through the opening. Perfect opportunity to unload everything
you have at him. Get more ammunition if needed.

- You may have to come out of your fighting hole to entice him around again.
Make sure you watch out for the zombies.

- Keep the cycle up and he will explode in a brilliant shower of chunks.

- Once he's cleared out, take care of any zombies and head to the area he came
from. Go to the building that von Bulow was in front of. When you enter,
you will see von Bulow, of course, she has been kind of dismembered. At the
end is the Dagger of Warding. Grab it to end the level. Objective 2.

You are parachuted into the area. You don't have much to work with in regard
to weapons. You will have to capture some weapons and also you will have to
gather up other weapons that have been parachuted down for you. You need to
keep quiet to keep the alarm from being raised.

Objectives: 1. Recover airdropped supplies.
             2. Locate the main road.
             3. Find the entrance to the supply compound.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/5

- You are in the middle of a forest. Go ahead and sneak around the hill to
your left. You will see a German guard above at a machine gun position and
   one below walking around.

- Sneak up to the German in the machine gun nest and put a knife into his
   back.

- Peer over the sandbags and take out the German that was patrolling with your
   Sten.

- Go up the path and you will see another house in the distance. You will see
a German patrolling along the left side. Follow the wall to the right.
When you see the side of the house, head over to it.

- Sneak around and peek around the left corner, you will see a guard milling
about. Take him out with the Sten. If done right, the patrolling guard
will come rushing over. Deal with him the same way.

- Go into the building and take out the third German. He will be running out
so he should be an easy kill.

- After clearing this building, go into the pond and head to the right side.
You will see some of your supplies waiting for you. Objective 1.

- When you head back toward the building, a couple of Germans are on the shore
shooting at you. Get to the building for cover and take care of them.

- Head up the road to another building. There are two Germans. One outside
patrolling and one inside the building. Take out the guard outside and go
into the building to take care of the other one. Objective 2.

- Creep slowly out of the cabin and equip the Mauser. In the distance, you
will see a machine gun nest. Pick off the gunner within.

- Continue on the path and in the far distance you will see another German.
   Pick him off.

- Slowly go forward until you see a guard tower to your left, take out the
German within the tower. You may have to climb up the tower until your
   victim comes into view.

- From the tower, you will see two Germans at a guard shack next to a bridge.
Go ahead and hone your sniping skills.

- Exit the tower and head toward your right. You will enter a large tunnel.
At the end awaits a German guard. Take him out to exit the level.
   Objective 3.

+----------------------------------+
11.4.2 Part 2: Forest Compound
+----------------------------------+

Well, you have made it a ways into the forest and are now at the supply com-
pound. This time, you will have to be totally stealthy in your approach. This
means no alarms can sound or you will fail your mission. Your goal is to get
into the supply compound so you can infiltrate the missile base.

Objectives: 1. Ensure that no alarms are sounded.
             2. Recover OSA M1S Snooper rifle.
             3. Infiltrate supply compound.
             4. Stow away aboard supply truck bound for rocket base.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/1

- When you exit the tunnel, head to the right and behind the small hill on
your left. Keep going forward until you get to the broken stone wall. You
will see one German manning a machine gun and another patrolling. Your goal
is to prevent the one patrolling from reaching your supplies. If he does,
   the alarm is raised.

- Go to the left and knife the German machine gunner. Spin around and use
your Sten to take out the German patrolling. Head toward the direction
   that he was.

- At the end, you will find more airdropped supplies. Objective 2.

- Turn around and use the Snooper to pick off the guard in the tower. You
have to be quick or he will sound the alarm.

- After you have cleared this little area, sneak down toward the supply
compound. You will see a German soldier patrolling in front of the gate and
another in an office above and to the left of the gate.

- Again, use the Snooper to pick off both guards. You may have to use two
shots on the one in the office.

- Once the coast is clear, head to the gate and look right. You will see a
German in the distance patrolling. Go ahead and pick him off. Look up and
you see another on the water tower. Give him the same treatment.

- Now, follow the compound wall to the left until you get to an open window.
Break the window open, crouch, and jump in. A German is in the next room.
Use the Sten to take care of him. Objective 3.

- Exit this building through the only door.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                   *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURE # 1 ***

- Climb the crates to your left to get on the roof. You will see a cable
extending from this roof to the roof across the way.

- Carefully follow the cable to the other roof. Once you are on it, fall down
through the opening to collect the goods and treasure.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head toward the gate and go into the building on the left to pick off the
   German inside.

- Now head over to the area you picked off the soldier when you were at the
gate (the one in the supply area). You will see stacks of crates. You also
see a German guarding a tunnel. DO NOT shoot him or you will fail the
   mission.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #2 ***

- When you go up the short flight of steps, go to the right. There is a crate
with a blue star on it. Break it open to get the goods.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Get into the back of the truck and it will take you into the main base.
This ends the level. Objectives 1 and 4.

+------------------------------+
11.4.3 Part 3: Rocket Base
+------------------------------+

Well, you managed to make it into the rocket base. Your first order of
business is to prevent the rocket from being launched. This is a timed
evolution so you will have to be quick about getting to the control room. In
addition, the Germans aren't too receptive to uninvited visitors. You will
also hear countdown updates on the speakers to give you an idea of how much
time you have left.

Objectives: 1. Locate main control room.
             2. Terminate the launch of V2 rocket.
             3. Locate exit and proceed to the outer compound.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/3

- There are a couple of ways this can work: The hard and easy way. The easy
way is to sneak out of the back of the truck, wait for the guard to pass,
hen sneak to the cargo bin. If done right, you will be lowered to the next
   level of the complex.

- The hard way means you have been spotted. This means you will have to fight
your way up the stairs to the next level. There are a few Germans trying to
stop you. After clearing the area, go down the hall and turn left. The
room on the right has a couple of Germans and some supplies.

- Follow this hall around to an elevator. You will arrive at the lower level
that the crane would have taken you to. Two Germans await you behind the
stone columns. Use the Mauser to pick them off.

- Go to the controls on the left and turn on the switch. Jump on the cart and
   get ready for the ride.

- You will go through a tunnel into an opening. Get your gun ready since two
Germans await you. Shoot them up.

- You enter another tunnel then into another open area. Shoot the guard at
the controls then run over to the elevator. Shoot the guard who steps out.

- Take the elevator up to the next level. When the door opens, let loose at
the guard who is on the other side of the room. A fuel drum will help you
   greatly to finish him off.

- Open the door on the right and take out all who oppose you. Head to the
next door and do the same to those inside. Head over to the control panel
and activate the self-destruct mechanism. London is safe for now.
   Objectives 1 and 2.

- Head out of the control room and follow the path around the now defunct V2.
At the end is a door that is broken. Be prepared for action since the
Germans are now swarming over the area.

- Once you clear them out cautiously head up the corridor. There are more
Germans lurking around in the hallway. Clear them out and proceed. Keep
following the hall around until your reach a door on the right. Go in to
   resupply.

- Keep following the hall around to a bridge. Shoot the soldiers on the other
side of the bridge and hurry across it since it will collapse very soon.

- You will enter another room. Take care of the German inside.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Shoot up the bulletin boards on the walls. You will see a panel behind one
   of them.

- Go to the desk and creep around it. You will find a switch. Activate it to
open the panel and collect the goods.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit via the steps and you will be back on the upper part of the level you
entered in. Deal with the German guard.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #3 ***

- Go back into the area that the supply truck is in. Go to the left corner
and find the crate with a blue star. Break it open to collect your reward.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go back up the stairs to the hallway you were in from the operations room.
Go through the door on the right and deal with the German guard.

- Head up the stairs and go through the room eliminating any guards that are
left. Exit through the door and go to the vent cover at the end. Break
it open and crawl through to exit the level. Objective 3.

+-------------------------------------+
11.4.4 Part 4: Radar Installation
+-------------------------------------+

Well, you made it to the outer compound. The Germans are on high alert and
are waiting for you. Time to hone your sniper skills on them. You will also
be dealing with groups of German soldiers intent on stopping you.

Objectives: 1. Locate and destroy MVK-mk1 radar array.
             2. Destroy all radio communications gear.
             3. Locate entrance to X-aircraft facility.

Secrets/Treasures: 3/4

- When you exit the shaft, you will be on some rubble above a bridge. Don't
climb down yet. There are a couple of guards below. Use the Mauser to
   snipe them.

- Climb down the rubble and sneak to the bridge. On the far end are a couple
of more Germans. Snipe them as well.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- With your back to the tunnel, go to the bridge and dive off the left side.
Get a good breath of air and go under the water.

- Go to the wall on the left and you will see a grate with a couple of gold
   bars, get them.

- Turn around and head for the blinking red lights next to the bridge. Take
   the ladder up.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Sneak to the right and you will see a German machine gunner in an em-
placement above, take him out and any other Germans coming down the road.

- Go to the door and get ready for some action. Two Germans await your
   arrival. Don't disappoint them.

- Go through the building until you get to the ladder. Go up the ladder and
man the machine gun to take out the Germans down below. Be careful, there
is a door to your left and any Germans you miss will attempt to storm the
   building via that door.

- Once you have cleared this area out, exit through the door to the left and
go down the stairs. Watch out for any Germans that may be lurking in the
   tunnel.

- Go through the tunnel. When you get near the end, sneak and aim your Mauser
high and to the left. A Sniper will soon come into view. Get him before he
   gets you.

- Continue sneaking around and look to the left. You will soon see another
machine gun nest. Head to the building to the right of the machine gun.
Get the supplies and escape through the window. Then take over the machine
gun to take care of another swarm of Germans.

- Once the road is clear, head down it. Take care of any survivors who happen
to cross your path. You will head through another tunnel. Sneak through
and look left. You will see another sniper and a soldier on the steps
to the right. Deal with them.

- Go up the steps and enter the building.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #2 ***

- Go into the first room on the right and head to the grate in the floor.
Shoot it out and go down it. It will wind around into a room that contains
all kinds of things for the taking.

- To exit, shoot the guard at the gate.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go across the hall and go into the other store room. Collect the dynamite
   and exit.

- Head up the stairs. Before you reach the top, sneak up. There are guards
posted on either side. Use the Mauser and take out one guard, spin around
   and take out the other.

- Go through the doorway. Go into the room on the left and take out the
guard. Collect the first aid kit (if needed) and exit. Go across the big
open area to the door. Again, open it and take out the German guard.

- *** TREASURES #3 AND #4 *** are there for the taking. Also be sure to
destroy the radio communications gear. Objective 2.

- Exit this room and go back through the doorway across the open area. Turn
right and head for the door. Go through it and head to your left.

- Go into the small building on the left. You have entered the radar array
control room. Plant the dynamite (I recommend setting it for 10 or 15
seconds to give yourself time to escape). Once planted, run back to the
door you entered this area from. Objective 1.

- When the radar array goes up in smoke, some German guards will rush out of
the building to the right. Take them out and enter the building.

- Go through the building until your get to a ladder. Before going down, be
prepared for the next level. There are two Germans down there. One is
planted down the hall in front of the ladder while another is off to the
   side.

- Quickly go down the ladder and take out the guard in front. Then creep
along until the guard on the right is visible. Take him out as well. When
both guards are cleared out, head down the hall and turn left.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #3 ***

- On the left is a door. Look at the floor and you will see a panel. Ope
the panel and turn the wheel. This is all there is to this secret.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Continue through the two sets of doors at the end of this hall to exit the
   level. Objective 3.

+----------------------------------+
11.4.5 Part 5: Airbase Assault
+----------------------------------+

You made it to the airbase. Your mission is real "simple". All you have to
do is steal the Bachem Ba317 Kobra experimental rocket plane. Of course, the
Germans aren't just going to allow you to do this unmolested.

Objectives: 1. Gain access to Kobra launch site.
             2. Prep Kobra for launch.
             3. Capture Kobra and fly to OSA airbase in Malta.

Secrets/Treasures: 0/0

- You will be in a drainage tunnel. Peek out and get a lay of the land. You
will have an airbase in front of you. To the right is a control tower. To
the left and right of the runways are hangers.

- Get out the Mauser and start working. Pick off the guard on the catwalk
next to the control tower. Turn to the left and down and you will see
another guard patrolling. Pick him off.

- Look to the left in front of the second hanger and another guard is there.
Take him out. A truck comes up the runway. When it stops, three soldiers
jump off. Be wary of the third soldier since he is a sniper.

- Once you have cleared up the area as best as possible, go down the hill and
peek around the corner of the control tower. A couple more guards are
   waiting to be picked off.

- You can go to the hangers if you want. All contain some supplies and each
   contains a guard.

- Go up the runway to the right and you will see a control tower on the left.
Go up the ladder and when the operators head comes into view, shoot him.
Pull the lever to open the steel gate to the main hanger.

- Go back down the ladder and sneak around. There is a sniper high up in the
steel beams above this hanger. In addition, there are a couple of guards on
the ground begging to be shot.

- Continue into the hanger. There are a few German guards to take care of
before you can proceed through. Once they are dead, proceed to the other
end of the hanger and go up the stairs. Keep following the stairs around
until you reach an area with a door in front of you and a corridor running
alongside. There may be a German guard here. Objective 1.

- If the guard isn't here, go left down the corridor and go into the first
room on the right A German is hiding behind the door, take care of him and
go to the control panel. Pull the lever to move the plane up to the next
   level.

- Exit this room and go right. Go through the door at the end and take care
of another soldier. From here, you can watch the plane rise to the new
level. Once it stops at the new level, activate the switch to start the
fueling process. After that is completed, open the hanger doors.

- Exit this room and take out the German soldier down the hall. Exit through
that door and you get to see paratroopers descending upon the base.

- Climb up the catwalks until you get to the top. Go through the door and
down the hall. Open the door and take out the soldier hiding behind the
crates. Go to the control panel and spin the wheel to finish the preflight
   sequence. Objective 2

- Head back down the catwalks again. When you get to the catwalk right above
the concrete. Sneak around it. You will see a paratrooper patrolling.
Pick him off with the Mauser and head down.

- The room on the other side of the door has three paratroopers. The best way
to take them out is to open the door and take them out as they come through
the door. When the room is cleared go to the door. Be prepared for more
paratrooper trouble as you exit through the door.

- Go back to the top of the stairs you entered this level on and go right, the
door is now open. Go up the stairs and into the room. Take out the four
technicians within and go to the last door on the right. Push the green
switch and go through the door. You end the level escaping in your new
   Kobra. Objective 3.

/ 11.5 EPISODE 5 /____________________________________________________________
------------------

You are assigned a new mission. You need to gain access into Deathhead's
secret weapon facility (SWF) and find out what he is up to. Of course, as
usual, the Germans will be trying to stop you. In addition, you have to find
people who have first-hand knowledge of what's going on in the SWF.

+---------------------------------+
11.5.1 Part 1: Bombed Factory
+---------------------------------+

Well, now you get to deal with urban warfare. This means you have to be ready
at all times. For this part of the mission, you must escort a tank through the
town and rescue resistance members from the clutches of the Germans.

Objectives: 1. Eliminate Panzergrenadier team.
             2. Aid Kreisau Circle in safe defection of the SWF scientist.
             3. Escort the captures Panzer safely to the SWF complex.
             4. Gain access to the SWF complex.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/5

- You start off next to the captured Panzer. Walk along the side and when you
get to the end, look up and left to see a sniper in an upper room. Get him
   first.

- Look left down the road and two more German soldiers want to make short work
of you. Make them pay instead.

- Run down the road until you get to an alley on your right. Go down the
alley and continue to go straight. You will pass a "T" intersection. Keep
going straight through and arch. When you emerge from the arch, turn left
   and kill the German soldier.

- Backtrack to the "T" intersection and go right. You will see a wooden set
of stairs going up. Sneak into the alley and turn right. You will see a
German guard on the landing above. Take him out.

- Head to the stairs and go up backwards. Eventually a German soldier comes
into view in the window above. Take him out as well. Objective 1.

- Exit the alley and continue down the road. Go to the end of the road but
don't turn the corner. Wait for the tank to arrive. The reason is because
there is a sniper in a tower at the end of the road going left. Instead,
when the tank catches up, let them use their main gun on the tower to
   eliminate the sniper for you.

- Once the sniper is cleared out, go down to the barricade and turn right down
the alley. Make a left down the alley but don't go all the way down or you
will be hit by a machine gun nest. Instead, creep down the alley until the
machine gunner comes in view and take him out.

- Another solider will run down the road from right to left within your field
of vision. Take him out as well.

- Spin around and take out the German soldier that is trying to sneak up on
   you, then turn around again.

- Head up the alley and toward the left. You will see another German in the
building to the left. Take him out.

- Exit the building and go through the hole in the wall. Go up the stairs but
don't go into the room. A sniper across the road has the room in his
sights. Creep up the stairs and pick off the sniper.

- Go to the hole in the floor in the right corner and drop in. The next room
has a soldier in it. Take him out and go to the doorway.

- Get out the Mauser and you will see a German carrying a flamethrower. Take
him out quickly or he will roast you.

- Take the flamethrower and get ready for some quick action. Get the flame-
thrower and you will enter a courtyard with rubble. Torch the first German
on the left. He is facing away and shooting at something.

- Run straight and turn left to torch two more German soldiers. Continue left
and torch the last German soldier at the end of the road. Turn right and
enter the little alcove. You have met your resistance contacts. Objective
   2.

- Backtrack to the first building. Before entering, go to the ledge on the
   left to get some supplies.

- Go through the first room and back into the second room where you dropped
through the hole in the floor. Escape through the window and backtrack to
   where the barricade was.

- When you get back to that area, you will see that the barricade has been
pushed aside by the Panzer and it is on the move. Ignore everyone firing at
you and run up the road.

- Make the right turn and run toward the building in front of you. While on
the run, take out the Panzerfaust carrying German and continue up the road.

- On the right, in a sandbag emplacement, are two Germans. One has a Panzer-
faust. Take them both out and go back to the tank. When the tank gets near
the end of the road, it will stop and fire its main gun, blowing open the
   door of the building.

- Be ready for two German soldiers to coming rushing out to see what just
happened. Give them an education. Objective 3.

- Backtrack up the road you just ran up and clear up any resistance. There is
a sniper in one of the buildings and another German soldier hiding behind a
   barrier next to a building.

- Head back up the road and you will see an alleyway to your left. Go past it
and get in front of the alley at the second left. Get out the Mauser and
take out the German with the flamethrower. Head up the alley and turn left.

- Creep along this alley until you see a ledge come into view on the
right side with some fuel barrels along the edge. Shoot the barrels to take
out the German soldier hiding behind them.

- Go around the corner and enter the building. Go up to the second floor and
   go to the window.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET # 1 *** *** TREASURES #1 THROUGH #5 ***

- Look across the road and you will see another window. Get into the window
and run and jump across to the road to the other window.

- In this room, you will see a fuel barrel in the corner, shoot it to blow
open the wall. Collect the gold inside.

- Go to the window overlooking the tank and hop down on the tank and back to
   the ground again.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head into the new doorway the tank made and creep in. You will eventually
see yet another German flamethrower looking around. Take him out.

- Enter this ruined room. You will see a concrete column with steel beams on
   all four sides.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #3 ***

- Climb up the steel beams and look to the ledge above. There are some
   supplies for the taking.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go through the room to find a hole in the floor. Go through the hole to
   exit this level. Objective 4.

+---------------------------------+
11.5.2 Part 2: Bombed Factory
+---------------------------------+

Now you get to deal with the full joy of urban warfare. The Mauser will be
your best friend on this level. There are a lot of enemies hidden amongst the
ruins. In addition, movement can be treacherous since much of this area is
bombed out. Much of your time will be spent creeping along, peeking around
corners, and looking up to make sure no German gets the drop on you.

Objectives: 1. Infiltrate the Kugelstadt weapons factory.
             2. Obtain Venom gun project book.

Secrets/Treasures: 1/1

- You start this level in the sewer system. Go to the ladder and climb up.
Don't climb out all the way. Get the Mauser ready and pick off the German
in the building right in front of you.

- Climb out of the sewer and creep along the ground. Look high and to the
right and another German will come into view. Pick him off.

- Exit that area and creep along until you see a ruined building on your left.
Take out the German soldier within and continue creeping up the ruined road.

- Keep creeping along until you see a German machine gunner in the window.
Snipe him off his post and continue creeping.

- Before you make it to the end of this road, look high and right and creep
forward. A German with a Panzerfaust will come into view. Pick him off.

- Now, turn left and you will see a couple of German soldiers by a vehicle.
Take them out. You have now cleared, for the moment, this area. Turn
around and head into the ruined building you took out the German soldier
in. Go to the back and you will see a grating in the floor.

- Shoot out the grate and drop down into the sewers. Creep to the "T" inter-
section and peek around the corner to the left. Take out the German
carrying a flamethrower. Turn to the right and a soldier may be there. If
not, keep going down and you will encounter him.

- Turn around and follow the sewer around to another ladder. If you climb up
this ladder, you will be at the machine gun position that you saw earlier.
Take any supplies you need and head back down to the sewers.

- Follow them around until you get to another grate. Shoot it out and go up.
You will end up behind the vehicle. Before heading to the door on the left,
there is a paratrooper in front of the vehicle. Take him out, then sneak in
   the door.

- Go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, peek around the corner and you
will see a paratrooper at the end of the hall. There also may be another
nearby so be ready for it. Pick them off and continue down the hall.

- In the next room is another paratrooper awaiting their fate. Accommodate
them and sneak down the doorway where another paratrooper is waiting in the
   wide hallway.

- Go to the door and go through it. Walk backwards and aim high. Eventually
a balcony and guard will come into view. Take him out before he knows what
   hit him.

- Head up the stairs until you hear a couple of Germans arguing about the fine
points on bomb defusing. After a few seconds there is a loud explosion.
Apparently both were clueless in this area.

- Enter the room and you will be greeted by a large hole in the floor. Turn
right and jump over the hole. Don't jump into the room below, though.
There are two paratroopers ready to ambush you.

- Sneak around the perimeter until they come into view and snipe them out of
existence. Drop down into the room to collect supplies. To exit, shoot the
oil barrels and blow open the wall.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- Ahead of you is a box next to the stairs you went up. Go to the box and
around it until the hand icon appears. Break open the box and the chalice
   is yours.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go back up the stairs, jump the hole on the right, and go into the next
hallway. Follow the hall around until you see a room with no roof.

- Across the street, in the windows, are some more paratroopers. Pop back and
forth from your cover and snipe those Germans from the windows. Once they
are cleared out, go into the room and go left into the next wrecked room.

- Grab the Panzerfaust from the window you had sniped at the beginning of this
level. Then equip your Mauser and look straight to the windows of a
building across the way. You will see two paratroopers lurking in the
   window. Take them out.

- Look down at the truck then look left. You will see another paratrooper
hanging around a ladder attached a building. Snipe him as well.

- When all opposition has been cleared, get on the wrecked windowsill and jump
across the street to the blue roof of the building the three paratroopers
were in. Work your way around the wall and into the building.

- Go into the building and go left. You will see a desk and upon that desk is
the write up for the Venom gun. Grab it and read it for more information.
   Objective 2.

- Go back out and go to the edge of the blue tiled roof. Crouch and drop to
the ground. Run over to the ladder and climb it. On the roof, you will
have to make a couple of jumps to get to the room to the right.

- Before you go jumping, though, you need to go to the edge of the hole in the
roof. Sneak around it until you see a German carrying a Panzerfaust. Take
him out and all you have to do is make a couple of jumps.

- Jump the broken pieces of roof to the room to your right. Turn right and go
into the room that you took out the two paratroopers in and head for the
door. Go through the door to exit the level. Objective 1.

+----------------------------------+
11.5.3 Part 3: The Train Yards
+----------------------------------+

More urban warfare mayhem awaits you on this level. Fortunately, you don't
have much more of the bombed out city to go through before you are in the main
area to access the SWF. Again, the Mauser will be your best friend.

Objectives: 1. Gain access to the main warehouse complex.
             2. Locate the primary lift and proceed to the SWF.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/2

- You start off in a room. Go to the door and get ready for action. Take out
the German soldier patrolling the hall and proceed down it. Before you get
to the end, you may have to deal with another guard. Give him the same
   treatment.

- Once you get on the roof, there are a couple of things you need to take care
of. Look to the left at the last building. Look up and you will see a
couple of Germans on the roof ready for anything.

- Look down at the base of the building to take care of another pesky German.
Head for the ladder to get off the roof.

- Stay close to the ladder since this will activate three paratroopers from
the train station across the street. Once you are on the ground, these
three will come to make your day miserable. Quickly go up the ladder and
pick them off from the roof vice going toe-to-toe with them on the ground.

- Once they are cleared out, head over to the train station to pick up
supplies. When you exit the train station go left and look around the wall
at the boxcar that will now be in front of you. Get your Mauser ready.

- Three German guards will jump out of the boxcar and attempt to storm your
position. Because they are at a long distance, however, you can easily pick
   them off.

- Continue following the building and when you get to the corner, peek around
it. You will see a paratrooper standing by the ladder. Pick him off then
head toward the boxcar that the three German guards jumped out of.

- Don't go through the car, though. Peek around the corner and look to the
end of the sidewalk and up. Another paratrooper has positioned himself in
that room. If he doesn't, you may have to step out of the boxcar and walk
backwards until he shows up. Either way, take him out.

- Head back to the ladder that was being guarded by the paratrooper. Climb up
it and get on the roof you sniped the two Germans of earlier.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- First, look down at the train. You will see one boxcar with an opening in
the roof. That is your goal.

- Get on the ledge and go all the way to the corner farthest from the box car.
Take a running start and jump on top of the boxcar. You will take a little
damage. Fall through the hole and collect the gold bars and everything
else. Exit by climbing the crates.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go all the way to the end of this building. There is a large opening on the
left for you enter the warehouse through. Objective 1.

- Get ready for action. Creep in and look up to take out the German on the
catwalk. Pivot left to take out another two German guards. Continue
   heading in.

- When you get halfway in, a set of double doors open and a couple more German
guards pop out to stop you. Mow them down.

- Go through the room and to the door. Open it and get ready for more action
as two more German guards try to stop you.

- When you get to the "T", turn left and head for the last door on the right.
Enter and kill the German standing behind the desk. He may have already
popped out the door to take you out.

- Exit and go through the next door on the left. Go down the hallway and
sneak through the last door on the right. Take out the German hiding behind
the desk. Then go to the switches next to the window to unlock the door at
the end of this hall and the double door at the end of the hall if you had
of made a right turn at the "T" intersection.

- Exit the room and go right through the unlocked door. Go up the stairs and
you will come to another hallway. Head through the door on the left and
take out the scientist and collect the supplies in the room.

- Leave this room and go back down the stairs. Go down the hall, exit through
the door, and turn left and head toward the double doors. Open them and get
   ready for action.

- Creep in and look up and behind you. There is a German guard on the catwalk
   above. Drop him.

- As you continue forward, be prepared for Germans both on the catwalks and on
the ground floor where you are. Slide back and forth to take them out.
After clearing out the area, go to the left corner and head up the stairs to
   the catwalk.

- At the top of the stairs, head to the doorway. At the doorway, peek around
the left corner and you will see another German guard in the office across
the way. Shoot him through the window.

- Follow the catwalk right until you get to the door. Enter the office to get
any needed supplies and head out again. Follow the catwalk until your get
   to where it turns right.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #2***

- Get on the railing on the corner. Look across the way and you will see
another platform jutting out. Run and jump off the railing to that
   platform.

- Turn left and jump to the that catwalk. Head into the office (where you
killed the guard) and collect the goods.

- Get back to the small platform and activate the switch to move it to the
   catwalk you jumped from.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Follow the catwalk to the back wall of the room. You will see a switch on
the wall. Activate it. This brings the elevator, below you, to this level.

- Get off the catwalks and get back on the ground floor. Head toward the now
open elevator. If you want to, you can go down into the machinery area and
take care of a couple of more Germans.

- Get on the elevator to exit the level. Objective 2.

+------------------------------------------+
11.5.4 Part 4: Secret Weapons Facility
+------------------------------------------+

You get to continue infiltrating the SWF. The Germans are on high alert and
are ready for you. Be wary as you go through because there are a lot of
elevated areas the Germans can use to harass you. Your goal is to get to
Deathshead's submarine to find out what projects he is shipping out.

Objectives: 1. Locate Deathshead's U-boat pen.
             2. Obtain information on Deathshead's destination.

Secrets/Treasures: 4/0

- You start off in a small room. Go to the room on the right and take care of
the guard within. Come out and prepare for another guard to come
through the other door. Eliminate him as well.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- See those gas cylinders in the corner. Shoot them to blow a hole in the
wall. Go in and collect the goodies.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head out the door until you get to a staircase. Peek around and you will
see a couple of Germans milling about. Take them out. Don't head down the
stairs yet because another German will come to investigate. Help him along.

- Head down the stairs and go down the hall. At the corner, peek around it
and you will see another Guard or two on the platform. Take him/them out.

- Continue across the platform to the next hallway. Peek around the corner
and take out the guard at the end. Creep down the hallway until the room
   becomes visible.

- There are a couple of Germans on the platforms above. One left and in front
of you and one to the left and high right after you exit the tunnel. Take
   them out.

- Enter the room. Go to the stack of crates and climb up the to the platform
on the left. Be prepared to deal with a couple of German soldiers. Jump
from the platform you are on to the catwalk across the way.

- Go through the door to collect the goods then exit and head for the door to
your left. Be prepared for action as you go through this door. A couple of
German guards try to stop you. Take them out.

- Follow the hall around and head toward your left. Take out the guard and
head for the window. Activate the switch on the left to open the window.
Below you will see a couple of Lopers wandering around in their cell.

- Equip the Panzerfaust or Paratrooper rifle and go the double doors on the
right. You will hear a big explosion as you open the doors. Stay at the
top of the stairs and look down. Apparently the Loper has gotten free and
is taking care of the Germans below.

- The Loper will then head up the stairs, fire fast and true to take it out.
Head downstairs and collect the Venom. Now you have something with fire-
   power.

- Head into the cell to the door. When you open the door, you will have to
deal with a Loper that is next to the door and one that is across the
room. Turn them into hamburger with the Venom.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #2 ***

- Go farther into this area and you will see a closed cell occupied by a
Loper. Open the door and shred it.

- Shoot the back of the wall to break it open. Head inside to collect the
   goods.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go through the door across from the cell and go into the first door on your
right. Take out the German guard then activate the switches.

- Go back to the hallway you first entered this level from. Coming down it
are a couple of Germans. Take care of them and turn around. Climb up the
crates again to the platform you originally climbed up.

- The barrier is now down so continue to follow this walkway around to a door.
Open the door and take care of the guard. Other guards may enter the area.
If not continue down the hall and before you reach the end, peek left to see
some more guards coming up the stairs.

- Go into the room for supplies and exit and go down the stairs. Be prepared
for more action as another guard tries to rush you from around the corner.
   Open the double doors.

- Take out the guard at the far end of the hall. Another German guard rushes
up to help him. Deliver the same fate to him.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                          *** SECRETS #3 AND #4 ***

- This is probably one of the most difficult secret areas to get through.
First, dive into the pool on the left. Use your knife to break the grating
open and swim through the tunnel until you come to a room with a ladder.

- Climb the ladder and go to the switch and activate it. Then climb up the
next ladder. Take the tunnel to another ladder (you will note that you are
in the area behind the elevated area beside the room with the crates you
   climbed).

- Go up to another ladder and head for the wall panel. Open it and turn the
wheel. Then go back down the ladder again. Open the vent near the ladder
   and go through it.

- You will end up in a small area where there is another pool. Jump into it
and follow the tunnel. At the hole in the ceiling, go up. Head up the
ladder and you have finally made it. To exit, go through the gate.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go back through the double doors and pass the pool. Head through the next
door. There are four paratroopers along the walkways. Two on the far
right, one in the left hand corner, and one on your side in the recess in
   the wall. Objective 1.

- Use the Mauser to pick them all off. Follow the catwalk all the way around
and go into the last door on the left. Collect the supplies and exit right.

- Backtrack around the walkway to the first door on the right. Go up the
stairs and peek around the corner on the left. Sneak around and take out
   the guard.

- Turn around and head down the hall. Turn right and go through the door.
You will now be on a walkway. Go to the end and look down and to the right.
Shoot the fuel drums to open the door below.

- Jump down to the lower level and get ready for two paratroopers to greet
you. Take care of them and head up the stairs. Turn right and head up
another set of stairs. Go through the door and you are in the control room.
The level ends here. Objective 2.

/ 11.6 EPISODE 6 /____________________________________________________________
------------------

This has to be one of my more favorite missions. It seems after you
"convinced" the control room tech to talk, he told you that Deathshead was
headed for the secret lab in Norway. Well, guess what...you are going to romp
in the snow and wind to find said lab. There are rumors that Deathshead has
found a way to meld biology and machinery. It is also further rumored that he
may have some sort of connection to the SS Paranormal Division. Time to go
find out what's going on.

+-------------------------------------+
11.6.1 Part 1: Ice Station Norway
+-------------------------------------+

This first level involves you trying to find your way into the X-Labs.
Although not required, being stealthy will help you out considerably since when
the alarm gets raised, you will have to deal with a lot more German soldiers.
You will also have to be careful since the visibility in this area is pretty
short so you may end up seeing a soldier when they are only a few yards away
from you.

Objectives: 1. Breach X-Labs outer compound.
             2. Gain access to main secure lab area.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/6

- Well, you get to start this level in a snowy plain. Go forward until you
barely see a soldier and U-Boat in the distance. Get out the Snooper and
take him out. Head for the crates on the left side.

- When you get to the crates, you will hear a couple of German soldiers
arguing about the generator and how to start it. One of the soldiers will
leave the generator. Take him down with the Sten. Then turn toward the
soldier tinkering with the generator and give him the same treatment. DO
NOT hit the generator or the explosion will alert every German and they
   will come gunning for you.

_______________________________________________________________________________

              *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 THROUGH #6 ***

- Go over to the submarine and find the coil of rope on the ground. Dive into
the frigid water and follow the rope.

- At the bottom of the ocean is a box that is broken open with six gold bars
scattered about. Get them and surface again.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Move forward until you can barely see a German on a platform patrolling in
front of the gate. Use the Snooper to put him down.

- Go through the gate and head to the right. Crouch behind the crates and
peek to the right. Three German soldiers are huddled around each other.
Get out the Sten and mow them down. Head for the building they were in
   front of.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #2 ***

- Go around the back of the building and you will see a door leading to a
crawl space. Kick in that door and crawl under the building. Go up the
ladder and through the trap door to get into the building. Collect the
goods within. Exit via the front door.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Across the way is a guard shack. You can go in there to get some supplies.
Then turn left and head toward the building jutting out from the hill.
Sneak up to the front gate and use the Snooper to look up. A German guard
will come out the door, knock him off his perch.

- Enter the building through the left door. To you left, in an open area
there are two mechanics chatting with one another. Use the Sten to end
   their conversation.

- Go to the ladder on the other side of the garage and go up. Go to the door
on your right and ready your Snooper. When you open the door, aim for the
guard tower across the way and take out the guard. This has to be done
somewhat quickly or that guard will raise the alarm.

- Get on the walkway and you will see three soldiers patrolling down below.
Wait until two of the soldiers enter the building below. Pick off the lone
soldier outside. Turn around and go back into the building and pick off
the other two soldiers. Exit and go down the stairs to ground level.
   Objective 1.

- Off to your left, in the distance, is another concrete guard tower. Another
three German soldiers await you in there. Get out the snooper and pick off
the German on the walkway. Turn left and take care of the other two Germans
   within the tower itself.

- Go to the left of the guard tower you first saw when you exited the
building. Follow the path around and you will be at the top of the
concrete guard tower. Drop through the hole and mop up any resistance that
may be still around. Collect the weapons and any other supplies and head
   out to a walkway.

- Off to the left, in the distance, is another guard tower. Pick the guard
off with the Snooper rifle and go down the ladder. Head for the guard
   tower.

- A building, with a guard, is across the way. Take out the guard then turn
left and head for the building. Open the door and take out the guard who is
to the right of the doorway. Collect any supplies and head for the building
next to the guard tower. Raid it for supplies.

- Go to the first building you took out the guard. Activate the switch to
open the gate. Sneak to the edge of the gate and peek around. There will
be a guard on the walkway above. Pick him off and head for the door.

- Enter the building and you will be in a room with some supplies. Exit the
room and enter another garage. Go around and up some steps to a door.
There are a few Germans on the other side of the door so prepare for some
   heavy action.

- Open the door and pick off the Germans who will be to the right. More
Germans will enter via the doors, among them are a couple of Venom gunners
so be ready. The Germans will either go for cover or they will try to storm
   the walkway you are on.

- Once you have mopped up resistance, go to the room on the left to get
supplies. Then head out and go straight. There is a locked door down the
hall to your right so go in the fenced in area and shoot the fuel drums.
This will destroy the generator and leave a big hole in the wall. Enter
the hole to exit the level. Objective 2.

+-------------------------+
11.6.2 Part 2: X-Labs
+-------------------------+

Now you get to really see what Deathshead is up to. In this level you will get
to tangle with his X-Creatures. They aren't pushovers by any stretch of the
imagination. Make sure you are heavily armed and make sure you are at full
health at all times or your trip to the labs could be a very short endeavor.
Gather as much info as possible to find out what is going on.

Objectives: 1. Locate and procure any documents related to Operation
                 Resurrection.
             2. Locate entrance to main Uber Soldat gestation area.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/21

- You get to start this level off in a nice clean hallway. Go down the hall-
way until you come to a room on your right. Two scientists are within
waiting for you to end their careers. Remember this room because you will
   be back this way again.

- Open the door and pick off the soldier across the open area (he is in front
of a door marked "2"). Slide to your left and pick off the soldier in front
of the door marked "3". Slowly head into the open area and another soldier
comes from the door 3 area. Take him out as well.

- Turn left toward the door marked "1". Slide right until a soldier down the
hall comes into view. Take him out and proceed down the hall.

- Before you enter the next room, take out the soldier on a catwalk on the
other side of the room. Be prepared for major action when you enter this
room. When you go in, you will hear an explosion to your left as a Loper
escapes from its pen. Use the Venom to shred it.

- Go to the back of the room and up the ladder to the next level. Turn left
and head for the door and go through it. Below you is the main laboratory
you saw in the cut scene. There is a problem, though. When you enter, the
Lopers break out of their cages and wreak havoc on the personnel. Try to
get off some shots to weaken the Lopers. They will disperse throughout the
   facility.

- Follow the catwalk around to another door. Go through it and look to the
window on your left. Apparently a scientist is on the receiving end of a
Loper's vengeance. Once the scientist goes down, prepare for the Loper to
enter the hall. Take it down.

- Don't go all the way into the room. You see another scientist on the floor
below backing up. A Loper soon takes care of him, then jumps to your level.
Again, shred him with the Venom.

- Head along the catwalks until you come to a room with a door on the left and
right (you will also note a ladder on your left). I would recommend going
to the right first. You will enter a store room. Collect all the supplies
and go through that door. Creep along until you see the top of a Lopers
head (you will be over the open area with all the doors). Use the Mauser
   to shut it down.

- Turn around and go back into the are you started in (with two doors). On
the other side of the left door is a Proto-Soldier ready for action. Once
you are ready open the door and get ready for action. This Proto-Soldier
has a Venom and knows how to use it. Use the doorway for cover and use
either the Venom or Panzerfaust to shut it down.

- Creep into this room and look down. Another Loper is hanging around on the
lower floor. Use the Mauser to pick it off.

- Backtrack to the area you took out the first Loper and go to the room to
collect some supplies. Go to the ladder and descend to the first floor
   again.

- Turn right and head for the door that has a hole ripped open in it. Go down
to the main floor of the laboratory. You will find a book telling you all
about the goings on between Deathshead and one Marianna Blavatsky.
   Objective 1.

- Go back up the ladder and follow the catwalk around to the ladder you noted
when you first entered this area. Descend this ladder and head to the
right. Follow the hall around and go through the door. There is a pool to
   your left.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- This will require some swimming so make sure you go to the air pockets in
   the ceiling to grab air.

- Jump into the pool and go through the tunnel. You will end up in a big
room. Go straight and through the door. Follow the tunnel left and at the
   "T" intersection, make a right.

- You will end up under the open area with the doors. Go to the left and go
through another door. Bear to the right to go to another short passage then
go straight up (follow the ladder). You will emerge in a store room.

- Go to the window and watch the fun unfold. After the Proto-Soldier takes
care of the Loper, it will fire its Panzerfaust at the store room door,
blowing it up. If you stay in the room, the Proto-Soldier will enter and
corner you. This would be a bad thing.

- Jump back into the pool and wait for the Proto-Soldier to stay put. Get
some grenades and dynamite from the shelf. Get yourself at a good angle
and throw grenades out to the Proto-Soldier. If you are successful, you
will hear armor being blown off it. After a few blasts, the Proto-Soldier
   is shut down.

- Jump back in the water and backtrack to the "T" intersection.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Make a left then swim to the ladder. You will emerge from another pool and
into a room. Be prepared for more action since a Proto-Soldier waits around
the corner outside of this room. When ready, engage the Proto-Soldier who
is packing a Venom. Once it is taken care of, go to the room across the
hall and get much needed supplies.

- Head up the hallway and look to your left. You will see a wall with a red
   insignia.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURES #1 THROUGH #21 ***

- Remember when you started this level, you entered a room with two
scientists. Well, you need to go back to that room again. Here's the
quickest way. Backtrack up the hall to a door (you will pass the pool room
to the right) and flip the switch. This turns off the electric barrier.

- Go through the door and you will see the secret store room you were in.
Turn right and go through that door (this is door "3"). Turn left up the
hall and go through the door. Turn left again and you are back in the room.
Look to the right and you will see a switch on the wall. Turn on the switch
and go back the way you came to get back to the wall with the red insignia.

- It will be open and 21 bars of gold are yours for the taking.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- After collecting the treasure, head for the door. Open the door and you
will be on a catwalk. Ease forward and you will see a Loper taking care of
a couple of soldiers. Get your Mauser ready and hit it a couple of times.
When it turns to come after you, whip out the venom to finish the job.

- Go down the catwalk then down the stairs. Turn left to go to the control
room. This will be a big test. When you activate the switch, the big door
across the way will open. To make your life even more miserable, two Proto-
   Soldiers wait from within.

- Here's how to solve this problem. Activate the door and run over to it.
Plant a couple of dynamite charges to go off after ten seconds. By the time
the door opens, the dynamite will go off and either destroy or severely
   damage the Proto-Soldiers.

- From the stairs, get out the Venom to finish the job. Once they are down,
go to the back and activate the switch to open another big door. Go through
that hall and you exit the level. Objective 2.

JSolusar shares his thoughts on taking on these two Proto-Soldiers:

I found that staying in the control room after you activate the switch makes a
prudent technique. The Soldats can't 'see' you while your in the room unless
you go to the door opening. Equip the Panzerfaust and set the reticle at the
level of the Soldats by looking through the glass, then sidestep to the door
and past. As the reticle turns red, fire. Three to four shots usually does the
trick. Also, the DeathsHead door won't open unless all of the power curtains
(the vertical electrical bars) are off. Then activating the switch in the room
he two Soldats came from will open the DeathsHead door.

+--------------------------------+
11.6.3 Part 3: Proto-Soldier
+--------------------------------+

This is for all the marbles in this area. You get to see what Deathshead's
pride and joy is after years of planning. The Uber Soldat is significantly
tougher then the Proto-Soldiers you have been dealing with. Of course, your
path won't be easy since other obstacles are in the way.

Objectives: 1. Pursue Deathshead to the Uber Soldat Test Lab.
             2. Locate exit and proceed to surface.

Secrets/Treasures: 0/0

- From where you start, peek around the left corner. There is a Proto-Soldier
with a Venom ready to shred you. Engage him and shut him down.

- Go to the supply area and load up. Go to the left staircase and take care
of the soldier in that hallway. Turn around and go up the right staircase.

- There will be another soldier to deal with. Depending on how noisy you are
will depend on where you encounter these two soldiers. After taking care of
them, look down the right hallway. If done quickly, there will be a German
carrying a flamethrower. Take him out.

- If you were slow, you may have to go up the hall until you can peek into the
next area. This will draw the flamethrowing soldier out. Again, take him
   down.

- Go back up the hall and you will see another Proto-Type soldier ready for
action. This one carries a Panzerfaust so you will have to do some hit and
run from the corners to bring this big boy down. Use the Venom or Para-
   trooper rifle for maximum effect.

- Once you have cleared out the hallways, proceed to the next room. A
scientist may confront you here or in the hall after you go through the
door. The result will be the same for him.

- Head either left or right to get to the door. Get ready for some major
   action. Objective 1.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                             *** BOSS BATTLE ***

- First, a little about the Uber Soldat. It has a Venom, Panzerfaust, and a
Tesla gun. All of these are quite lethal in their own right. This means
you have to stay out of its path of fire.

- When you enter the room, a cut scene will show Deathshead not worrying about
you since his Uber Soldat will take care of you.

- Just as soon as you can move again, turn left and follow the catwalk. Go
down the short series of stairs and run across the room to the glassed-in
control room. The glass is indestructible and offers full protection.

- The Uber Soldat will follow but will not go into the room. It usually stops
at the corner closest to the catwalks under the upstairs control room.

- It will take a lot of ammo to bring this thing down. In addition,
scientists enter the catwalks and harass you with small arms fire.

- I recommend using the Panzerfaust first. Creep to the doorway until you
barely see the Uber Soldat. Then let loose a barrage next to it. The
explosive radius will drain a pretty good chunk of its health.

- Switch to your Mauser and again, until you barely see it, snipe until dead.
If you need to, snipe the scientists off the catwalk as well to keep their
fire down to a dull roar. Yes, this is conservative but you won't suffer
   much damage doing it.

- Once the Uber Soldat falls, a door in the back of this area opens up. Don't
rush to it yet. Mop up the scientists (including the one who just rushed
in) and head to the back corner of this room to get much needed supplies.
Don't forget to get the Tesla gun from the Uber Soldat (along with other
   goodies). Objective 2.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this room. You will see a room to your left and right. Both contain
scientists waiting to be eliminated. Oblige them and then head through the
right room. Head up the stairs and take care of a couple more scientists.

- Go through the door and mop up any other resistance then go through the door
to the control room. Go to the control panel and activate the switch. Turn
around and go through the door to ride the elevator up. Go to the next door
and open it to see Deathshead escape and end this level. Objective 3.

_______________________________________________________________________________

JSolusar shares his thoughts on this level:

I've found that going up the hall to the corner, where the Flame soldier can
see you and picking him off there with the FG-42 also draws out the Uber Soldat
there. Once the Flame-thrower is killed, run back to the end of the hall you
came from. Let the Uber Soldat fire one rocket at you before you go back down
the steps and equip either the Panzerfaust or the Venom. In 7 out of 8 times I
tried this, the Uber Soldat stopped on the stairs. Four grenades later, he was
out of commission. Bouncing the grenades off the wall onto the stairs saves
ammo and health.

In the room with the Proto-Soldier, I found that running straight and jumping
over the edge works best. Equip the Venom and run straight at the Proto-
Soldier. This also requires a healthy health and armor supply. I went in with
150/150. Fire the Venom at point-blank range, running forward at the same time
due to the Tesla pushing you back. As soon as the Proto-Soldier dies, because
you are still running forward, you push past him into the alcove he came from.
I was at 129/49, health and armor. Equip the FG-42 because the doctors are now
after you. Wait till the door in the alcove opens and kill that scientist and
pick off the others in range before going in. After these are taken care of,
proceed up the stairs and wipe out the stragglers. The three up top I finished
off with a short burst from the Venom.

/ 11.7 EPISODE 7 /____________________________________________________________
------------------

Just when you thought all was well, it appears that the Germans are still
trying to raise the dead. Marianna Blavatsky seems to be the one in charge of
this evolution. To accomplish this, there is a big meeting of the top people
in the SS Paranormal Division in the village of Paderborn. Of course, your job
is to make sure that these foul rituals won't be conducted.

+-------------------------------+
11.7.1 Part 1: Bramburg Dam
+-------------------------------+

You start at the dam on the outskirts of Paderborn village. Your job is to get
past the dam and enter the village to start your main mission.

Objectives: 1. Get across the Bramburg dam.
             2. Locate the road to the village of Paderborn.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/2

- You start off on a hill overlooking the dam. Security is tight since every-
body is forbidden to cross the dam until Blavatsky's little ceremony is
over. Sneak down the hill to the small wall in front of the dam.

- Go over this wall and follow it to a ladder. A guard across the way may
shoot at you. Don't engage him now, just go down the ladder to the catwalk.
Be careful on the catwalk, it is a long fall to the water below.

- Creep along the catwalk until you get to the corner. Peek around and you
will see a soldier standing there. If he sees you, he will let loose a
rocket and demolish the catwalk around the corner, making it harder to move
around. Snipe him to prevent that from happening.

- Go around and to the ladder. Descend and enter through the door the soldier
was in front of. Creep down the hallway until you get to the corner. Peek
around the corner and you will see a couple of men doing some repairs. Take
care of them and continue down the hall.

- A soldier may come out from a door on your left. If he does, take care of
him and enter the room. If he doesn't, get back and shoot the cylinders on
the opposite wall, they will blow the door open. Enter and kill the
   soldier.

- Head to the elevator.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- Activate the switch and send the elevator up. Right below where the
elevator was is a grate. Break open the grate and go down to collect the
goodies. Exit and activate the switch to bring the elevator back down.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Before you go up the elevator, look up. A soldier is firing down on you.
Shoot him off the edge. Get on the elevator and go up.

- Collect the goods off the shelves and go to the door. When you go through
the door, you will be in a bunker. The first order of business is to take
care of the two Germans in front of you. Turn right and man the machine
   gun.

- Take care of all the Germans coming out of the building to the right. Once
they have been mowed down, turn around, get the Mauser ready, and hang out
   in the doorway.

- You will see three more soldiers, in the distance, heading for your
location. Pick them off as well. Then turn your sight up and to the right
to eliminate the guard in the tower. When all is clear again, go out and to
the right. Go up the guard tower to turn off the alarm.

- Go into the room across from that guard tower to collect supplies.

_______________________________________________________________________________

               *** SECRET # 2 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Break open the bulletin board above the desk to collect your gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go back across the dam where the three soldiers were. Go to the left door
and open it. There are a couple of soldiers who want to be heroes. Show
them that heroics are not in the cards for them. Objective 1.

- Head to the staircase and prepare for another couple of Germans. Clear them
out and head up the stairs. Go through the door on the left and take care
of the guard in this room. Continue through the next door and go to the
ladder. Climb it to go into the ventilation system.

- Slowly go down the shaft. You will eventually see a machinery room. Creep
forward until an explosion rips open the shaft.

- Look to the left and down and you will see a couple of German guards. Pick
them off with the Mauser. Peek to the right to shoot the guard off the top
   of the machinery.

- Drop down out of the vent and head around to the left. Go up the stairs.
Turn and go up another set of stairs into a hallway. Another two Germans
await your arrival. Give them your send off. Another guard will come out
of the room. Show him why curiosity killed the cat.

- Go into the door across from where the third German came out and collect the
supplies in the room. Now go through the door, down the hall, and through
another door. At the bottom of the stairs a couple of German guards are
   waiting. Help them move along.

- At the bottom of the stairs, take care of any survivors and go to the door.
Prepare for quick action since a couple of guards are on the other side.
Open the door and take care of the two soldiers in the yard.

- Creep down the steps until you see the guardpost. Pick off the two German
soldiers and head for the building. Enter the building to activate the
switch to open the gate. Head through the gate to exit this level.
   Objective 2.

_______________________________________________________________________________

JSolusar shares his thoughts:

I sniped all of the soldiers that came out including the one on the far tower,
and shot out the spotlights. If the soldier at the bottom of the dam does blow
up the catwalk, you can still walk down the inclined catwalk, and jump to the
ladder. In the same level, when you creep through the ventilation shaft, after
it blows up, I picked off the tech on the machinery and the guard below. Then
I proceeded left into the section of shaft and wound my way to the other exit.
By this time, the two soldiers who were up here have gone down to see what the
commotion was. Break the grate and jump down, staying crouched, and pick these
two off below you.

+------------------------------------+
11.7.2 Part 2: Paderborn Village
+------------------------------------+

This level requires you to be stealthy. Any alarm that is raised will result
in a mission failure. That means only the Snooper and Sten can be used (of
course along with the knife). Make your shots count since Snooper ammunition
is hard to come by. Now you get to thin the ranks of the SS Paranormal
Division.

Objectives: 1. Eliminate four key SS Paranormal operatives.
             2. Ensure alarm is not sounded.

Secrets/Treasures: 3/6

- You start out on a roadway in this village. Move to the right corner and
crouch down. Creep forward and you will see a German soldier walking on an
upper pathway. Sneak around to the left and up some stairs. Get behind the
guard and stab him with your knife.

- Follow the walkway to a door. Get the Sten ready and open the door. Mow
down the two SS men in front of the fireplace. Head inside and up the
   stairs.

- At the top of the stairs, stop and you will hear some conversation. Sneak
around until you see the library. You will see one of the SS operatives
looking at the books with his back to you. Eliminate him and continue up
the hall to the next room.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1, #2, AND #3 ***

- When you enter the bedroom, you will see the operative's wife dressed out in
the latest SS seduction clothes. DO NOT kill her or the mission is a
failure. In front of you, at the foot of the bed, is a footlocker. Break
it open and get the gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this building and go through the archway on the right.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURES #4, #5, AND #6 ***

- When you go through this area, you will see a small door with a lock on it.
Shoot the lock and enter. Go down the ladder then up another ladder. You
will be in a store room. Collect the supplies and gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go through the door to a hall. Open the next door and you will see a man
busy mixing something. Sneak up behind him to end his mixing days.

- Get out the Snooper and open the door next to the bar. At the end of the
road is a German sitting in the window. Pick him off and head up the road.
When you get to the corner, peek around it. You will see a guard at a gate
   down that road. Eliminate him.

- Face the window that you shot the guard at. Go to the drainpipe and shimmy
up. When you are even with the window, hop over to the window (while
crouched) and go inside to get some supplies. Exit the same way.

- Go up the road to the gate. Turn left and head for the front door. Get the
Sten ready and open the door. Go up the stairs and you will see two SS
officers discussing things. Use your Sten to make your contribution. Then
   head up the other stairs.

- At the top of the stairs, another officer seems to have his back turned to
you. Shoot him to eliminate the second operative. Go into the room on his
left and up the small flight of stairs to another room. Look out the window
to the left. An SS guard is on a narrow walkway. Use the Snooper to end
   his pace.

- Exit this house and continue up the street. You will eventually see some
stairs to your left. Unfortunately, the door at the top is locked. Go
toward the building, with the stairs on your left, to the small panel. Open
the panel and you will be under the building. This also takes care of
   *** SECRET #3 ***.

- Go to the grill at the front of this crawlspace. You will see the SS man
wandering around in his house. Get the Sten and mow him down. Three down,
   one to go.

- Collect the supplies and exit the crawlspace. Turn right and go through the
archway on the left. You will end up under a balcony. Listen to everything
that the man above is saying. When he is done, enter the building.

- Go up the stairs. At the end is another SS guard. Fire him and head for the
door. Go through the door and up a short flight of steps. Go to the back
room and another SS operative has his back turned to you. Mow him down.
   Objective 1.

- Exit this building and go left down the two short flights of stairs. At the
bottom of the stairs, peek right to see a SS guard. Take him out and head
for the door to exit this level. Objective 2.

_______________________________________________________________________________
JSolusar shares his thoughts:

I used the Snooper to take out most of the outside guards from a distance.

+------------------------------------+
11.7.3 Part 3: Paderborn Village
+------------------------------------+

More stealth is required to finish getting through the village to the Chateau.
Again, use the same tactics that you used for the last level and you shouldn't
have any problem.

Objectives: 1. Eliminate one key SS Paranormal operative.
             2. Ensure alarm is not sounded.
             3. Gain access to Chateau Schufstaffel.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/6

- You get to start out in the wine cellar.. First order of business is to
take care of the guard enjoying himself too much.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1, #2, AND #3 ***

- Go to the wine cask with the spigot. Crouch down to push said spigot. The
left wall opens up. Go collect the gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit this area by going down the hall, and up the stairs. You will go
through a room and another doorway. Up another flight of stairs and through
the door. Go to the door on the left and get the Sten ready. Open the door
and you will see a German near the fireplace. Take him out.

- Go through the room to the next door. Get the Snooper ready and open the
door. There is a guard across the way. Snipe him fast or he will raise the
   alarm.

- Exit and go to the edge of the balcony and look down into the courtyard.
Another soldier is patrolling by the door. Use your Sten to mow him down.

- Go down the stairs. Around the corner is another drunk German. Help him
with his hangover and then collect the supplies. Exit the room and go left.

- Go up the short stairs to the door. Open the door and kill the man behind
the desk. That takes care of that operative. Objective 1.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURES #4, #5, AND #6 ***

- Rip up the picture behind the operative's desk. Behind it is a switch.
Activate the switch, a wall opens behind you. Go inside to collect the gold
and all the supplies you can carry.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Exit the building and head right. Go down the short flight of stairs and
creep along. The walkway turns right. In the distance, you will see two
Germans discussing something in a short tunnel. Get out the Snooper and cap
   them both.

- Continue to follow the walkway around until you come to a gate. Open the
gate and eliminate the guard patrolling the area to your right. Head over
to the door to exit the level. Objectives 2 and 3.

+---------------------------------------+
11.7.4 Part 4: Chateau Schufstaffel
+---------------------------------------+

Well, you made it to the Chateau. Unfortunately, things aren't looking any
better. You will now have to deal with Paratroopers and Elite Guards in
addition to the usual guards. To make matters worse, they seem to be ready for
your arrival. This doesn't mean, however, that you should abandon stealth. It
will keep most enemies at bay and give you a chance.

Objectives: 1. Find the entrance to the Chateau proper.
             2. Locate the entrance to the chateau's back wing.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/4

- You get to start out in yet another wine cellar. Move quickly forward and
to the stairs. You should see a German guard heading out. Quickly go up
the stairs and take him down before he enters the courtyard.

- Exit and turn around. Move backwards until you see a balcony above you.
Use the Snooper to zoom in and you will see a guard patrolling. Drop him.

- Head down the path to another door. Sneak in and take aim with the Sten.
There are two soldiers to the right. A rope is directly in front of you.
Shoot the rope and drop the barrels on the guys to the right. Pretty neat
   stuff.

- Go up the short flight of stairs and into the next hall. Go through the
door to another hall and turn right. Go to the corner and peek around it.
A couple of SS men are chatting in front of the fireplace. Get out the
Snooper rifle. Drop the one on the left first, then drop the one on the
right. If done correctly, no alarms will have been sounded.

- Go down the hall and look around the left corner. There will be a German
guard facing away from you if you were stealthy. Get behind him and use
   your knife.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURE #1 ***

- Turn and look at the picture above the fireplace. Use the Sten and shoot it
up to reveal a swastika. Shoot the swastika to activate a timed switch.

- Go out of the room and toward the grand staircase. Look to the left and you
will see an open door in the back corner. Run through the door and down the
stairs. Collect the chalice and other goods in this room. Exit by hitting
   the switch on the wall.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head through this big hall to the next area. The hallway splits left and
right. Go down the right hallway. At the end will be a room off the right
wall in front of you. Equip the Snooper.

- Turn left and inch your way past the right door jam until an Elite Guard is
in your sights. Take her down. Another Elite Guard goes over to see what
is going on. Give her the same treatment.

- Switch to the Sten and a couple of paratroopers will come from the room.
Gun them down. Turn around and peek around the right corner. Another guard
is trying to sneak up on you. Take him out.

- Once the room is clear, go up to the front and to the altar. You will get
   *** TREASURES #2 AND #3 ***.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #4 ***

- Facing the entrance and standing in front of the altar, turn left and go to
the wall. Follow the wall back toward the entrance and you will see a
switch. Activate it to open up a set of stairs behind the altar.

- Go down the stairs and there is a sword. Note the pretty angelic faces on
the wall. Grab the sword and those faces breath fire. Time it in between
fireballs to run back up the stairs again.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head out of this room and back to the main hall. Go across to where you
shot the picture of Hitler and turn around. Equip the Mauser and look at
the top of the staircase. A sniper appears and wants to duel with you.
Oblige them and head for the stairs.

- Go up the stairs then turn right. Go through the door and follow the hall
around to the end of the level. Objective 2.

+---------------------------------------+
11.7.5 Part 5: Chateau Schufstaffel
+---------------------------------------+

Well, you made it into the Chateau. Things aren't going to get any easier
since Elite Guards and paratroopers are actively hunting for you now. You can
pretty much throw stealth out the window because they know you are there and
they have planned a nice reception. You goal is to find out what the SS Para-
normal Division is up to. This means you need to knock a few heads together.

Objectives: 1. Eliminate General von Shurber.
             2. Locate chateau's rear exit.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/6

- You start out in a room. Go to the door and get ready to cap the guard on
the other side. Go down the hall and go left into the dining area. After
getting your fill of food and any supplies, go to the other door. Open it
   and take out the officer.

- Before going out, look high and to the right. If a German is firing at you,
shoot him down. Then get on the ledge to the right. Follow the ledge
around until you get to a ladder. Climb up the ladder.

- Peek over the top and you will see one or two Germans (depending if you got
one earlier). Get out the Mauser and put them down. Then climb up on the
   roof.

- Creep up to the first skylight and look down. There are some paratroopers
down there ready for action. Snipe them from the safety of your high perch.
They are on both the right and left side.

- After you clear the room, go to the second skylight. Break out the windows
and drop down on the bookcase, then drop to the floor.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Face the main room and head all the way to the left. Follow that bookcase
until the hand icon appears. Activate the book and look left.

- A door opens up. Run in and grab the two chalices. If the door closes, use
the switch on the desk to reopen it again.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go back to the right side of the library. Peek around and you will a few
people (this depends on how many you sniped from the skylight). Head for
the fireplace. An Elite Guard will show up on the other side of the stair-
   case, take her down.

_______________________________________________________________________________

              *** SECRET #2*** *** TREASURES #3 THROUGH #6 ***

- Go to the right side of the fireplace. There is a switch in one of the
fireplace tools. When activated, the fireplace slides to one side. Go in
   to retrieve the gold.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Move along the right side of the wall until you get to a set of double
doors. Go down the hall and open the next set of double doors. In the room
to the right a German soldier is milling about. Pick him off before he gets
   wise to you.

- Turn left and peek down the hallway. Three more German soldiers are
awaiting your arrival. Take them out and continue down the hallway. Make
the left turn and go to the door on the left. When you open it, the good
General is listening to music with his back turned. Give him a real
   appreciation for music. Objective 1.

- Exit the room and go back down the hall. Don't go around the right corner
since an ambush is awaiting you down the hall. Peek around the corner and
you will see two paratroopers waiting behind an upturned table. Snipe them
   off their post.

- Sneak down the hallway and look to the right. An Elite Guard is waiting
around the corner to stop you. Show her why you cannot be stopped. Go into
the room you took out the German soldier in to collect supplies. Exit this
area and head for the staircase.

- When you get to the bottom of the staircase, the doors will blow inward.
Creep down to the doorway and peek around the corner. A couple of para-
troopers have barricaded themselves behind another table. Use the Mauser
   to clear the area.

- Run down the hall and to that room. Get behind the table because two para-
troopers come from a hall you passed on the left. Eliminate them. Then go
to that hall. Go through the door and you will reach the end of the level.
   Objective 2.

+------------------------------------+
11.7.6 Part 6: Unhallowed Ground
+------------------------------------+

Well, you made it through the chateau and now you are on your way to the
anointing site. It seems that things are going to be getting a little more
interesting now. You must find your way to the site. Of course, you must deal
with a lot of Elite Guards along the way who will stop at nothing to make sure
you never make it.

Objectives: 1. Locate site of anointing ceremony.
             2. Destroy all Proto-Soldiers

Secrets/Treasures: 2/9

- You start off in a hallway. Beyond the door are three paratroopers ready to
put you down. The best way to do this is to open the door and try to take
at least one out. The other two will eventually come through the door where
you can take care of them. Once the parking area is clear, head to it.

- Go into the back of the truck for any supplies and then head for the gate.
Go through the gate and equip the Mauser. Go to your right and eventually
you will see a guard shack. Put down the two soldiers standing by it and
collect the supplies. Turn around and head back the other way, keeping the
   large hill to your right.

- Follow the hill around until the slope gets gentler and you can climb it.
Creep up to the top and you will see an Elite Guard. Snipe her and another
comes around. Take her out as well and continue to go across the top of the
hill. You may get fire from the left side. If you do, take care of the
   problem.

- Sneak up to the wall, then creep along the right side until you get to the
opening. Go to the opening and get ready. An Elite Guard will come around
the corner so you don't have much time to react. Take her down and go into
   the cabin for supplies.

- Before you head out the door, peek around the corner to the right. A sniper
has set up at a wall in the distance. He moves around but eventually he
will show himself. Pick him off.

- Now follow the road so the hill is to your left. When the slope gets
gentler, creep up the hill and you will see another Elite Guard in the
distance. Pick her off and pick off the one coming to her rescue. Continue
to move slowly up the road.

- You will see a ruined building to your left that only has the front and two
side walls standing. Behind the left side wall is an Elite Guard. Peek
around and pick her off. Head into the ruined building.

_______________________________________________________________________________

              *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 THROUGH #9 ***

- Near the fireplace the floor looks week. Either shoot or knife the boards
   until they break.

- Drop through the hole to collect the supplies and nine gold bars. Go to the
door on the other end, crouch, and open it. Two Elite Guards are now on the
road in front of you. Use the Snooper rifle to pick them off. Backtrack to
where you started this secret area.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head to the left and behind a large tree. Peek around the left side and you
will see an Elite Guard on a sniper platform in another tree. Snipe her
down. Then look straight ahead and you will see another Elite Guard manning
a machine gun. Take her out as well.

- Sneak up the road and when it curves right, sneak down it. You will see two
Elite Guards around the vehicles. Snipe them and turn back to where the
machine gun position is. Sneak over and another Elite Guard shows herself.
Take her out to clear out the area. Then enter the area and go to the
   ruined bridge.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #2 ***

- Go along the left side of this bridge until you get to a ladder. Climb
down the ladder and slide right then go forward. Collect the stuff and head
back up the ladder again and exit the area.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- DO NOT man the machine gun unless you want more Elite Guards to rush you
from the left side. Just leave it alone and head past the vehicles to the
anointing site. You will pass a couple of stone columns as you enter the
site. In the center are stone columns arranged in a square. To your left
   are crates.

- When you enter, look toward the columns and a Proto-Soldier with both
Panzerfaust and Venom Gun will come after you. Use the crates to play "cat
and mouse" with it. By using hit and run tactics, you should be able to
bring this creation down. Before it dies, however, another one shows up so
make sure you finish the first one quickly.

- The second one is equipped with the same armament as the first one. In
addition, the second one also has a Tesla gun to make life even better. Use
the same tactics as you did on the first one and the second one will be
   wreckage as well. Objective 2.

- When you have cleared out the Proto-Soldiers, go to the middle of the area
surrounded by stone columns. There is a big hole in the center. Jump in
the hole to exit the level.

/ 11.8 EPISODE 8 /____________________________________________________________
------------------

It took you a while to escape from this area. Now you are having to break into
it again. On top of it, all those undead you thought you left behind make a
return appearance. To add further insult to injury, X-Creatures are also
wandering about to make your life miserable. You just can't catch a break can
you?

NOTE: This is actually an extension of Episode 7. I broke it out, however,
for ease of reading.

+--------------------------+
11.8.1 Part 1: The Dig
+--------------------------+

Well, looks like you get to go back through the dig site again. This time
instead of getting out, you are trying to break back in again. Watch out for
all the different enemies around the area. This includes X-Creatures, Germans
with flamethrowers and Venoms, paratroopers, and SS guards.

Objectives: 1. Pursue SS Paranormal Division operatives through the dig site.
             2. Locate alternate entrance to Castle Wolfenstein.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/3

- You start in an underground passage. Move forward and you will see some
bars with a German behind them. Further back in that cave are two more
German soldiers. Let the killing begin.

- Exit this cave and pick off the guards next to a large opening. Head in
that direction and a bridge looms before you.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #1 AND #2 ***

- Climb up the right span of the bridge. When you get to the top, turn right
and you will see a rocky ledge in front of a cave. Jump to the ledge.
Crouch and crawl into the cave for your prize. Exit the same way you
   entered.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Continue across the bridge to another open area. To the right are some
supplies. To the left is a Proto-Soldier and three Germans. Get out the
venom gun and prepare to chew up the area.

- After clearing out the area, follow the path around. Three more Germans
attempt to take you on. Finish them off then turn around and head back to
   the first cave you passed.

- Go inside and head for the door. Open it and clear out anybody that's not
supposed to be in there. Drop through the hole in the floor.

- Slowly go up the path. You will encounter some more SS troops and beyond
them a German with a flamethrower. Send them all back to the earth. When
you see a wide open area. Creep around until you see the two SS soldiers.
Get out the Mauser and pick them off.

- Head right to the ladder and climb until you are a little below the fence.
You should see the back of a Proto-Soldiers head. Shoot it until it drops.
Go up a little more and you should see a two more soldiers and another
flamethrower guy. Take them out and go over this wall.

- Creep around the right path and take out the SS troops that stand in your
way. You will eventually see a door in front of you. That door leads back
to the path you used to originally drop into this area. Turn left and
follow the right wall until you see a stack of crates on a platform. To the
right is a SS guard waiting to ambush you. Save him the trouble and kill
   him first.

- Backtrack all the way back to where you first dropped into this area. This
time, go left and to the ladder. Climb the first ladder, turn and climb the
second ladder. Before you get off the ladder, face left, equip the Mauser,
and pick off the flamethrower guy. Head up the ladder and creep along the
wall until your reach the corner.

- Peek around the corner and you see yet another Proto-Soldier. Get out the
Mauser and hide behind the wood beam. You should be able to snipe it down
   with minimal effort.

- Sneak up the passageway. In front of you are two SS guards while another
guard is off to the left on the other end. Use the Mauser to end their
   careers.

- Follow the path around to the right and you will reach a boarded up area.
Break up the boards and enter another cave. Go through the door.
   Objective 1.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                    *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURE #3 ***

- Look to the right to see a fuel drum. Shoot it to blow open the wall.
Collect the goods and shiny skull.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Go to the hole in the floor. Take the wooden beam down. Follow the path
around and go through the crack in the wall. You have made it through this
   level. Objective 2.

+-----------------------------------------------+
11.8.2 Part 2: Return to Castle Wolfenstein
+-----------------------------------------------+

Looks like you are back where you started. This time, you have a lot more cool
weapons to take care of anything living or dead that are hanging around the
area. Again, you will have to deal with paratroops and Elite Guards to get
through. By this time, though, you are a veteran of these parts. Piece of
cake.

Objectives: 1. Unlock the gate leading to the upper castle.

Secrets/Treasures: 2/6

- You start at the cracked wall you ended the last level at. Break open the
wall, equip the flamethrower, and prepare to have fun. Four zombies will
rise up to take you on. Use the flamethrower to make quick work of them.
When you enter the room, two more zombies (with axes and shields) will break
   through...barbeque them.

- Go into the room on the left and go all the way to the back. Press the
switch to open the gate on the other side of the room you entered from.
Turn right and you will see *** TREASURE #1 ***. When you pick it up, a
   zombie will attack, toast it.

- Go through the gate and torch two more zombies.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                *** SECRET #1 *** *** TREASURES #2 AND #3 ***

- Go to the back left corner and break open the coffin. Two gold bars are
   your reward.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head up the short flight of steps into another room. A staircase is in
   front of you.

_______________________________________________________________________________

             *** SECRET #2 *** *** TREASURES #4, #5, AND #6 ***

- Look to the right and you will see a small opening with bars across it.
Break the bars and crawl inside to claim your three gold bars

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Head up the stairs. Get ready for more zombies as you open the door. Flame
   them and watch them explode.

- Collect all of the supplies in this room and head up the spiral staircase.
At the top of the staircase more zombies await. After clearing them out,
   collect all the supplies.

- On the other side of the door are a couple of paratroopers. The best way
is to open the door, and move to the side. They will eventually enter the
room. Pick them off one by one. Go out and turn right.

- Look into the courtyard and a paratrooper is hanging out. Snipe him and
continue along the walkway. At the second left turn, be prepared for an
Elite Guard. Eliminate her and go to the door.

- Go through the door and head down the staircase. A zombie may be lurking
around the area so be prepared. When you get to the bottom, exit out the
door into the courtyard. Another paratrooper may be waiting for you. If
   he is, take him down.

- In the courtyard, turn right and go through the double doors. You will go
down a hall to end the level. Objective 1.

+-----------------------------------------------+
11.8.3 Part 3: Return to Castle Wolfenstein
+-----------------------------------------------+

You continue to head through the castle on your way to where the ceremony is
taking place. Again, there are a lot of paratroopers and Elite Guards to stop
your progress. The undead population seems to be pretty much gone so now you
have to deal with the living.

Objectives: 1. Locate the entrance to the main dig site.

Secrets/Treasures: 1/0

- Go to the door and get ready for action. When you open it, two paratroopers
and an Elite Guard are busy chewing up a zombie with gunfire. Don't stand
in the doorway, though, or you will also get hit. Pick off the Germans
quickly since they will shred the zombie quickly.

- Run into the church itself and hide behind the right pew so you are facing
the doorway to the left. Two Elite Guards will come charging out. Take
   care of them.

- Go to the back left corner of the church and head up the spiral stairs. Go
down the hall and make a right. You will pass a locked door to your right.
Go to the end of this hall and get the Mauser ready.

- Open the door and snipe the guard across the courtyard. Turn quickly left
and take out the paratrooper on the left walkway. Exit and turn right. You
will see a boarded up window to your right.

- Inside is another paratrooper waiting to get the drop on you. You can chuck
a grenade or use the flamethrower to take care of him. After you have done
this, go by the window and follow the walkway around. Look down into the
courtyard and pick off the paratrooper standing there.

_______________________________________________________________________________

                              *** SECRET #1 ***

- Face right and you will see a beam going from the walkway to the roof above.
Follow the beam and follow the attic around. You will find an area of
rotted wood (this area is right above the locked room). Break the wood and
drop down. Collect all the goods and exit through the door.

_______________________________________________________________________________

- Follow the walkway around to the right again. Instead of going up the beam,
drop through the hole in the floor. As soon as you hit, the opposite door
will open and an Elite Guard and two paratroopers will storm out.

- Get out the Mauser. You can get one paratrooper and the Elite Guard in the
courtyard. For the other paratrooper, you will have to go down the walkway.
Peek around the corner and he is at the opposite corner. Quickly take him
   out.

- When the courtyard is cleared, go to the door opposite of where you dropped
down from the upper walkway. When you go in, you will see a staircase to
your right. Don't go up it yet since a paratrooper and an Elite Guard are
   waiting for you.

- Use the Mauser and attempt to snipe them. If that doesn't work, equip the
paratrooper rifle and take them out. Head up the stairs and then follow the
hall. Go into the next room. Open the trapdoor and step back. Snipe the
guard below or toss in a grenade.

- Go down the ladder and toss a grenade into the next room. You will either
flush out the paratrooper or you will kill him with the grenade. Either
way, go into the room to mop up if needed.

- Pull the lever to open the big door in the courtyard. Backtrack up the
ladder and around to the courtyard again. You will now see the other doors
are now open. Go through them to end the level. Objective 1.

+---------------------------+
11.8.4 Part 4: Heinrich
+---------------------------+

This is it, for all the marbles. This is where all the clues have been leading
to. This level opens up with Marianna Blavatsky in the SS issue, devil-raising
garb. She starts to chant. The three Proto-Soldiers around her transform into
giant zombies as their "souls" are sucked into the ground. Heinrich I rises
from the ground. He rewards Marianna by sucking the life out of her and
urning her into a zombie.

Objectives: 1. Destroy Heinrich I.

Secrets/Treasures: 0/0

- You will go through a hallway to a room. This room is full of supplies so
stock up. Head to the next room and stock up in here as well.

- When you are stuffed with ammunition, head for the well. Remember, once you
go down, you cannot come back up again. Follow this hall to a door. Go
through the door and to the doorway. Go through the doorway to the
anointing site. You will be confronted by Heinrich I, three Dark Knights,
   and the zombie Marianna Blavatsky.

                             *** BOSS BATTLE ***

- A little about your next opponent, Heinrich I. He has a few attacks at his
   disposal:

   - First, he has a devastating spirit attack that can chew away armor and
health at a very frightful rate. It seems, though, he doesn't use it
when you are on the platform with him.

   - Second, his sword can cause massive amounts of damage when it strikes
      your soft body.

   - Third, he can strike the ground with his sword and force you closer to
him so he can give you a good whack with is sword or put you in the Dark
      Knights way.

- You had better be able to slide around or you won't last long in this
battle. Also, when he tries to draw you closer, make sure you are moving
backwards so when the attraction ends, you won't be under his sword.

- First, equip the Tesla gun. This will clear out the minor nuisances such as
the Blavasky zombie and damage the Dark Knights and Heinrich I.

- When the Tesla is expended, switch to the Venom. Always keep Heinrich I
targeted. The Dark Knights will get in the way from time to time. That's
fine because when you take one out, Heinrich I wastes time making a new one.

- When the Venom overheats, switch to the Panzerfaust and pump some rockets
into him. It will only take about three to four before the Venom has cooled
   off again.

- Alternate between the top two strategies and Heinrich I will once again
become history. This level is also history.

The final cut scenes will occur:

Heinrich Himmler will be watching the proceedings through a pair of binoculars.
He will also watch you reduce his Paranormal Division down to a few psychic
investigators with litmus paper. He has to report to Berlin and talk to Hitler
about his failure.

On the other side of the Channel, OSA is very pleased with Blazkowicz's
performance. They would love to give him a medal, however, since this was a
Top Secret mission, they cannot do it. They did give him some R&R for all his
hard work.

The next scene shows Blazkowicz in the middle of a battle, gun blazing,
enjoying his "relaxation" to the fullest.

the M1 Garands. Great for close quarter fighting and relatively accurate at
long ranges. Ammunition is sparse for this weapon.

----------------------------

ROF : Automatic
Stopping Power: Medium
Round Type : 9 mm
Rounds/Clip : 32
Rounds Carried: 300/330/360/390/420

Standard issue British automatic rifle issued to its commandos. Made entirely
out of steel. It is more accurate at short and medium ranges meaning it
doesn't take as many shots to bring an enemy down. The downside is that it
overheats after firing ten sustained rounds. Shoot in short bursts to prevent
this.

/ 14.6 Mauser (Kar 95) /______________________________________________________
------------------------

ROF : Single Action
Stopping Power: Medium/High
Round Type : 7.92 mm
Rounds/Clip : 8
Rounds Carried: 200/220/240/260/280

A standard issue German rifle. Mostly used as a sniper rifle due to its
stopping power and its range. Without the scope, it is only accurate up to
medium range and the stopping power is medium. With a scope, it has a long
range with a high stopping power. The disadvantage is the fact it is a single
action weapon. This means if you are in the middle of a firefight, this isn't
the weapon of choice. For sniping, though, this weapon is very hard to beat.

/ 14.7 M1S Snooper Rifle /____________________________________________________
--------------------------

ROF : Single Action
Stopping Power: High
Round Type : .30 caliber
Rounds/Clip : 5
Rounds Carried: 10/11/12/13/14

The allies answer to the Mauser. This rifle has some advanced features such as
a night-vision scope. It is also excellent for stealth missions because it
also is equipped with a silencer. Make sure you still have a round in the
chamber or the night-vision scope will not function. Use only when critical
since ammunition for this weapon is very sparse.

/ 14.8. FG42 Paratrooper Rifle /______________________________________________
--------------------------------

ROF : Semi-Automatic
Stopping Power: Medium
Round Type : 7.92 mm
Rounds/Clip : 20
Rounds Carried: 200/220/240/260/280

The standard weapon issued to German special forces. It comes equipped with a
scope but you cannot zoom in or out with it. The scope, though, increases the
accuracy of this weapon and its semi-automatic rate of fire makes this a good
snipers weapon at short to medium ranges. It also enables the weapon to be
more accurate in its delivery of hot lead.

ROF : Single Action
Stopping Power: High
Round Type : Grenade
Rounds/Clip : 1
Rounds Carried: 15/17/19/21

The "Potato Masher" grenade. This grenade is activated by pulling the pin in
the handle. The explosives are packed at the top so the user throws the
grenade with the handle. You can hold it after the fuse is activated. You
will have four seconds from the time you pull the pin to throw it. Listen for
the clicks and watch the red bar (between the ammo in clip and ammo in reserve
icon) move to the right. When it gets all the way across, the grenade goes
off.

Rounds Carried: 15/17/19/21

The American grenade The body has linear indentations both horizontally and
vertically. This is to produce shrapnel when the grenade explodes. Activation
occurs when the pin at the top is pulled and the handle is released. As with
the Stiehlhandranate, you can delay throwing it and watch the time go down
until the right moment.

Rounds Carried: 5/6/6/7/7

Also known as TNT, dynamite is a very powerful explosive. It is capable of a
fairly sizeable blast radius so when you plant it, make sure you move away from
it quickly. You can set the timer in five second increments from five up to
forty-five seconds.

ROF : Single Action
Stopping Power: Very High
Round Type : Missile
Rounds/Clip : 1
Rounds Carried: 5/6/6/7/7

The German bazooka. Using a rocket propelled missile, the Panzerfaust was
quite capable of punching through the think armor of allied tanks. In this
game, the Panzerfaust is used more for bringing down X-Creatures and
structures.

/ 14.13 Venom /_______________________________________________________________
---------------

ROF : Automatic
Stopping Power: Very High
Round Type : 12.7 mm
Rounds/Clip : 500
Rounds Carried: 1000/1100/1200/1300/1400

Able to send over 1000 rounds downrange/minute, the Venom is the fastest firing
gun in the game. It is an electronically, belt fed gun. The barrels spin to
achieve maximum rounds/minute. You must warm up the weapon before it starts to
fire. This means that when you are walking around, tap the fire button to keep
the barrels rotating to prevent the lag that occurs. This weapon usually
overheats after 300 rounds have been expended. It's great against the X-
Creatures and bosses.

/ 14.14 Flamethrower /________________________________________________________
----------------------

ROF : Single Action
Stopping Power: High to Very High
Round Type : Fuel
Rounds/Clip : N/A
Rounds Carried: 150/145/160/175/190

The flamethrower does just that, it fires a highly pressurized stream of a
jelly/gas mixture at the target. The jelly is used to make the flames stick to
the target. Most targets will go down quickly. The flamethrower is especially
effective against the undead and not so effective against the X-Creatures and
bosses.

---------------

ROF : Single Action
Stopping Power: High
Round Type : Power Cell
Rounds/Clip : N/A
Rounds Carried: 500/550/600/650/700

Based on electronics technology by Nikola Tesla, the gun uses a combination of
magnetism and electricity to form a very concentrated beam of electricity. The
big advantage of this weapon is that it can arc to all enemies within a group.
It will chew away armor and health at a quick rate. Since the X-Creatures use
this technology for mobility and weaponry, it does not effect them.

/ 14.16 MG-42 /_______________________________________________________________
--------------

ROF : Automatic
Stopping Power: Very High
Round Type : N/A
Rounds/Clip : N/A
Rounds Carried: N/A

A belt-fed heavy machine gun. It will only be found mounted in bunkers or on
vehicles. It was one of the most feared weapons due to its extremely high rate
of fire and excellent stopping power. The American M-60 is based on the MG-42.

| 14.  CONCLUSION |============================================================
+=================+

As you can see, Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Operation Resurrection can be a
very involved game. There are a lot of levels to go through and a lot of
things that need to be done. The enemies in the game are no pushovers and you
will actually have to work in some areas just to keep alive. The fun of the
game is actually trying to figure out where everything is headed. Granted, you
are getting pieces of information describing certain events, however, you still
don't have the big picture. The enemy, of course, isn't going to just
voluntarily give you information either. You must go out and discover it your-
self. This means poking and prodding into areas most people would be too
scared to go into. Of course, you ultimate goal is to stop the Germans from
doing whatever they are doing. That's why you volunteered, to make the world
safe. I hope that this guide has helped make these missions easier. This
guide was a lot of fun to write and it involved many hours of game play since
I hadn't played the game before this. I hope you get as much enjoyment from
reading this guide as I did writing it. Good luck in keeping one step ahead
of the Germans as you attempt to shut them down.
