"Oi, mate! 'Tis be bad game!"
The game isn't as good as it looks. There are things wrong with it.. lots of things. Anyway, onto the review.
In Ty The Tasmanian tiger, join Ty, a boomerang wielding tasmanian tiger. As he travels through the outback in search of five stolen talismans needed to open the dreamtime portal and free his family, through out the game. Ty runs, jumps, swims and glides through a wide range of locations including the rain-forest, snowy mountains, desert terrain and a barrier reef on a quest to rescue his family.
There are a set of specific objects that need to be completed through out the game. Rescue this, race that, kill this, kill that. It's pretty simple as it seems, but don't be confused.. this game is hard. One of the hardest games I've ever played. It takes a lot of time and practice to beat this game.
The controls are rated so high because they're easy to remember. You should get used to them in a matter of minutes. You won't have any trouble remember the buttons.
Eeek. I gave it a ten How can this be?! Well, the graphics are just the best. NOTHING overlaps in images, and everything is well animated. Nothing is blocky, and everything is highly detailed. The dew on the rain-forest leafs, the dirt on the ground, even the water in the damp areas of the game. Its all incredibly done.
The sound isn't so bad either! I mean, when the characters speak, there is a strong Australian accent added to each of the characters. The only problem is, that some of the characters words are hard to understand. If its biting an enemy, shattering glass, or throw-in' your boomerang, the sound is the best it can be.
Rent OR buy? Rent.
The game isn't really that fun, so don't waste the money on it. Renting it would be the best idea. You can complete it in a few days, and then return. If you like kiddy like games, go ahead and buy it.
