1. Introduction

Hello, and thanks for reading my Debug Menu FAQ for Final Fantasy X-2. 
Recently, a debug menu was discovered in the PAL version of Final Fantasy X-2, 
with lots of interesting and unique features. I'm writing this FAQ to help 
people who don't know, or don't want to spend time figuring out, what the 
different options in the menu do.

The guide is written based around the PAL version of the game, and I'm not 
sure if there are any codes available for the NA version yet, or even if the 
menu is in the NA version at all.

Press L3 at the main menu then load or start a new game.

4. Battle Debug Menu
---------------------------------------

This is the main debug menu in Final Fantasy X-2. It houses most of the 
interesting options, and allows you to do a lot of interesting things.

***        MAIN MENU        ***

        Encount Battle
            - Displays areas, choose one and a number to battle.

        Event Battle
            - Displays chapters, choose one and a boss to battle.

        Select Battle according to Monsters
            - Displays monsters, choose one to battle in the debug area.

        Set Debug Options
            - Allows you to change special debug options. See below.

        Full Command
            - Gives you 99 of everything, and 999,999,899 gil.

        Load
            - Load game data into debug mode.

        Save
            - Save game data in debug mode.

        Free
            - Closes menu. Press triangle to access field menu, square to
              return.

        Shop
            - Lists all the game's shops, choose one to buy/sell.

        To Location
            - Lists chapters/locations you can go to.

        Nakazawa Test
            - Has misc. debug options. See below.

        Yasuhiro Test
            - Has misc. debug options. See below.

        Back to Top Menu

        Party
            - Add/remove Yuna, Rikku and Paine from the party.

        Obtain Full
            - Gives 99 of different item types. All Off doesn't work, actually
              gives all.

        Invincible
            - Make the enemies or the party invincible. Also control the
              enemies' actions (!).

        Use 0 MP
            - All skills use no MP.

        Damage
            - Fix the amount of damage dealt by the party and enemies. Be
              warned, healing items will damage you too.

        Obtain
            - 100% rare items, 100x Gil, 100x EXP. The latter two don't work.

        First Attack Setting
            - Change who pre-empts. Enemies, party, random or none.

        Info Output
            - Does... something. Not sure.

        Oversoul
            - Force enemies to oversoul during battle.

        Complete

        Result Plate Tutorial
            - View Shinra's Garment Grid tutorial.

        Ability Tutorial
            - View Shinra's Ability tutorial.

        Obtain Debug Item
            - Gives Black Mage, White Mage, Vanguard GG and sometimes Gil/EXP.

        Machida Test
            - Choose from 5 options, displays some game text.

        Save to File(Result Plate)
            - Doesn't seem to do anything.

        Save to File(Ability)
            - Doesn't seem to do anything.

        Name Entry Menu
            - Displays pet renaming menu.

        NOTE: Viewing this menu several times seems to hang the game. Needs
              soft reset if it hangs.

        Monster Jiten Test (View all)
            - Displays Shinra's bestiary with all enemies. No oversouls.

        Victory Motion Test
            - Shows victory motions with voices. Can't exit (use soft reset).

        Call Debug Screen w/o BGM 0   Cross
        Call Debug Screen w/o BGM 100 Cross
        Call Debug Screen w/o BGM 0   Triangle
        Call Debug Screen w/o BGM 100 Triangle
        Call Debug Screen w/o BGM 0   Circle
        Call Debug Screen w/o BGM 100 Circle
            - Gets you into a battle.

        Set Al Bhed Fukugoi Mecha Flag
            - Change the Experiment's A/D/S levels. Doesn't seem to work.

        Voice Check
            - Just exits from Yasuhiro menu.

        Monster Jiten (Normal Setting)
            - Displays regular bestiary.
