"I want you to go extra hard me! I want to get all I can out of this bootcamp!"
- SteamRoller (directed to BradP)

Hola everybody, and welcome to my NALL (No Accessory Low Level) Challenge
Guide! I've specifically made this guide for anyone who attempts to try out
this challenge. In this guide, I've included a full walk-through of what you
are to expect as you play through this game under the restrictions of this
challenge. Furthermore, I also have detailed strategies of the bosses you are
to fight in this challenge as well as other information.

Believe it or not, this is actually my personal remade version my "LLG + No
Accessory" challenge. Some time ago, a user named Paltheos came up with an LLG
for the game Breath of Fire III, and I wanted to try out this challenge, but I
lacked motivation, or knowledge of that game, so I figured I'd try a challenge
on a game I know very well (FFX-2). So, I wanted to come up with a nice decent
challenge for this game. I first thought about just an ordinary LLG (Low Level
Game), but then I started thinking about how I would purposely keep my levels
down in many of the New Game Pluses, and how unchallenging those play-throughs
would be. So then that's when I decided to throw in the extra rule of "No
Accessories" to improve the difficulty of this challenge. Before I began
coming up with, or hearing about challenges, I always thought that a challenge
in an RPG would be beating the game in your own without any help. Well, back in
my early years of playing RPGs, there wasn't too many people that I knew about
that actually played RPGs, so that's how I always assumed that a challenge in
an RPG would be to beat the game by yourself without any help. Anyway, I went
ahead and attempted the "LLG + No Accessory" challenge; however, I was never
able to finish it for a few reasons: I lost motivation due to the difficulty
which still wasn't that hard, I replayed the game TOO many times (which means
I was getting sick of it, regardless of how much I liked it), and the rules
I had for the challenge were way to controversial and simple. After I stopped
that challenge, I then heard about the Level 1/1/2 challenge, which consisted
of beating the game with two of your girls at level 1, and the third one at
level 2. I thought about that challenge, then I looked at mine... then it came
to me! I looked at all the "holes" (or possibilities) in the Level 1/1/2
challenge, and wasn't too pleased. There are accessories in FFX-2 that can
boost a single girl up about 30 or 40 levels (stat-wise), which could easily
lead you to victory even if you are at level 1 (which is also why just a
natural LLG wouldn't be too hard). So, I remade my "LLG + No Accessory"
challenge into the NALL Challenge, which contains rules that are much stricter,
frustrating, and isolating, but still that same concept. "NALL" is also the
name of the little bat-like dragon pet of Alex from the game Lunar: The Silver
Star, which was the first real RPG I played back about 11 years ago (I played
the original version, NOT the remake).

This challenge in general is about removing two of the most dependant factors
used in battle in FFX-2, which are leveling, and equipping accessories. Anyway,
I think I've talked too much already about the origin of this challenge, so
shall we move on. Oh, one more thing, if you wish to use my FAQs on your
website, or have any other questions, see the "Credits & Other Info" section
of this guide, so without further ado, lets get it on!

Now we shall go over the special rules for this challenge, which you might find
a little harsh, if not, even better. Here they are:

===============================================================================
>>>                                **Rules**                                <<<
===============================================================================

1) No random encounters may be won, nor attained Exp. from.

2) No accessories may be equipped under any circumstances!

3) Side-quests are "barred" from this challenge! Do only what you need to do to
move on with the story. This means you are also barred from ANY other location
you do not need to visit to progress with the story.

4) All characters must survive every battle!

5) Absolutely No NGP (New Game Plus)! You are to start from scratch, and make
it all the way to the top!

6) Special Dresspheres are restricted from this challenge.

7) Spare Change is limited to 100,000 Gil for the entire challenge, this means
that you are only allowed throw 100,000 Gil the entire challenge, you it
wisely!

8) Zantetsu and Shin-Zantetsu are prohibited!

===============================================================================
>>>                                **Hints**                                <<<
===============================================================================

- This isn't a "Speed Run", you have all the time in the world to do whatever
you need to do as long as you follow the rules, and restrictions for this
challenge.

- Random encounters may not be won under any circumstances, nor attained Exp.
from; however, you are welcome to do anything else you please to do during a
random encounter.

- Accessories may not be equipped for any reason, but this doesn't exactly mean
that you can't pick them up, so you are welcome to do whatever with them (with
the exception of equipping them).

- When you're in an area, make sure you go around many times around that area
just in case you might find something you can use. Besides, odds are that you
won't be going back there after you're done with that part of the story (you
might come back, but things might be different than what they were before).

- Exp. is NOT AP! I didn't set any restrictions on the amount of AP you may
gain, so think about ways you can earn AP.

- Think about what abilities you can use during battle that will benefit you
afterwards (regardless of weather you win the battle or not).

- Items will play as huge role in this challenge, make sure you have plenty of
them to use. Also, think about the effect of an item when used in battle, not
all items are just used to heal or assist.

- You can do anything you want to do with random encountered fiends as long as
you don't kill them. Also keep in mind that once you encounter a certain type
of fiend, you may never see that fiend again later on in the challenge.

- You won't get many Garment Grids in this challenge, but pay attention to the
effects of the Garment Grids when equipped, and when you cross the boarders.

- This really isn't much of a hint, but more like some good advice: Do NOT
underestimate the difficulty of this challenge! In other words, don't mentally
walk-through this challenge, and say you can beat this challenge. Walk the walk
before you talk the talk.

Now you've got the idea of this challenge, right? Well, now that you know the
rules, and have seen the hints of this challenge, you are welcome to start
this challenge right now. That was just a message to those who feel they can
take on this challenge by themselves, though if you do feel this way, and you
think you take on this challenge by yourself, don't read any parts of the
walkthrough, if you find out how much trouble this can be, you are again
welcome to look at the walkthrough as much as you want.

===============================================================================

These are the frequently asked questions regarding this challenge, or questions
people just felt like asking me concerning me. Anyway, if you have a question
about this challenge, feel free to ask, and I'll add your question in this
section to clear up any controversy towards this. Please, do not e-mail me
asking seriously personal, or out of the field questions that have close to
nothing to do with this challenge.

Q: Is a NALL (No Accessory Low Level) challenge possible under these rules and
restrictions?

A: Yes, it definitely is, and that's why there's a guide for it! :)

Q: Is there a time limit to this challenge?

A: Good question, the first time I posted this challenge, I didn't mention any
hints, and your question just happened to be the first hint I came up with.
Answering your question, no, this challenge does not contain a time limit, so
take your time, and make the right choices.

Q: Why didn't you call this challenge "NALLG" (No Accessory Low Level Game)?

A: Heh, I actually first thought about abbreviating the new name of this
challenge to "LLNA", but then when I switched LL and NA, and realized that it
spelled "NALL". Nall is again, one of my top characters in the game Lunar: The
Silver Star that I played about 11 years ago, so you could say that this is
just a reference to the first RPG I played long ago. Also, the natural name
of this challenge, if you consider all the restrictions, is "LLNANNGPNSQNSDS"
(Low Level, No Accessory, No New Game Plus, No Side-Quest, No Special
Dressphere challenge).

Q: 11 years ago? It came out in 1997 for the PSX, how is that possible?

A: That's Lunar: The Silver Star Story Complete, 4 years before that game came
out, the original Lunar: The Silver Star came out for the Sega CD. So, that's
the version I played, back when it was underrated, and almost unheard of.

Q: Wouldn't killing two of the girls before beating a boss make the Exp. gain
less? Or is Exp. in FFX-2 split between whoever is alive, so the one girl would
just receive 3x the Exp?

A: The Exp. system in this game actually doesn't work that way. If two of your
girls die right after winning a battle, they will still earn Exp. for their
actions in battle.

Q: The Samurai dressphere could be a great asset, "Shin-Zantetsu" can take
care of all enemies that aren't Immune to "Instant KO", if you're in a Boss
fight with "sidekicks" or something similar. Bushido could help you out a lot
as well! "Mirror of Equity", "Magicide", "Dissmissal", "Fingersnap", "Sparkler"
and "Fireworks" (which ignore DEF), and your stat-raising skills. I think you
should consider using Samurai!

A: Well, looking at the description of these moves, I might think the same way
you do about using the Samurai dressphere in general. However, the Samurai
dressphere isn't all the good in overall stats. Even with all the stat-raising
moves, this will take a while, and by the time where done, only one girl's
alive with low HP (tired similar to this before with Samurai...). With bad
stats, even the strongest Samurai moves would take about 400 HP, and also by
the time you get the Samurai dressphere, all the bosses then on are all immune
to KO, so "Shin-Zantetsu" is useless. Therefore, the Samurai dressphere is only
useful for one reason: "Spare Change".
"Correction": Zantetsu and Shin-Zantetsu are not the same as "Instant KO". So
thanks Kirsty, I've added rule #8 prohibiting these moves :)

Q: If all sidequests are "barred", does this mean that you won't be able to
fight Trema, or even visit the Via Infinito? Also, do you plan to beat Trema in
this challenge in the future?

A: Well, let me put it this way... fighting the last battle again Shuyin, was
very similar to when I fought Trema in a normal play-through. So, if I was
barely able to beat Vegnegun and Shuyin under these restrictions, imagine my
fights against Trema, Chac, etc. (although I might find a way to take down Chac
hehehe...) Anyway, I might attempt that in the distant future whenever I have
time.

Q: Yuna's so hot and has a beautiful personality...! Where can I find a girl
like her...?

A: There are WAY too many girls out there kids! If you've got anxiety when
meeting women, just go out there on the field and start approaching women.
You'll be surprised :) (or take a bootcamp with Love Systems/BradP/BadBoy).

"What a woman says and how they respond, are two entirely different things."
- Mystery

Now, shall we meet the cast that you will be controlling in this challenge:

(NOTE: The "Leveling" stat means how fast they go to the next level, and if you
see something like "Fast/Medium", that means that they are Fast at first, but
then they are Medium speed towards the end.)

Name: Yuna
Age: 19
Leveling: Slow

Also known as the daughter of the late High Summoner Braska who defeated Sin
along with his guardians ten years before the events of FFX. A lady who is very
kind, loving, caring and that doesn't truly possess the aspect of natural
aggression in or out of battle (even though she attempts at times), but like
any other human being, she is liable to get mad at times. She is also easily
influenced by others in the way she acts, or when she's told what to do. She's
also half Al Bhed in her mother's side, who was the sister of Cid, the leader
of the Al Bhed, making her the niece of Cid, and the cousin of Cid's children,
Rikku and Brother. Yuna was born in the city of Bevelle, and was raised in the
town of Besaid. After her father died when she was seven years of age, she
began to follow in his footsteps to also one day, become a High Summoner. She
first became a summoner at the age of 17, and went a on pilgrimage with her
guardians to defeat Sin, and become High Summoner. While in the pilgrimage,
she was talked into marrying Seymour to bring happiness to the people, but
changed her mind when she found out Seymour's intentions. After defeating Sin
and becoming High Summoner, she mourned over the fact that one of her beloved
guardians (Tidus) disappeared with the fayth. So two years later, she went on
a journey to find him, and got into a whole new conflict that threatened "The
Calm" of Spira. Yuna's personality is still the same believe it or not, but
it's actually more expressed. Some fanboys just love to complain about her
voice-over because they're just looking for an excuse to bash her just because
her breasts aren't Tifa's size or whatever reason, or the fact that they
didn't get why her voice was a little slow in FFX (What if you knew you were
going to die at the end of your journey?). Unlike Tifa, They spend a long time
developing her personality rather than her body, which is not bad at all
nonetheless, but enough get some other fanboys drooling on their controller.
Also, ignore some ignorant fanboys that refer to her, and any of these girls as
sluts because there favorite FF girl isn't as developed as these girls are.

Name: Rikku
Age: 17
Leveling: Fast/Medium

A very energetic, upbeat, and pretty intense girl that enjoys having fun under
any circumstance. She's also the daughter of Cid, and the cousin of the High
Summoner Yuna. Rikku is full Al-Bhed, and in the beginning, is one of the
Al-Bhed that are very much hated around the time of FFX. When Tidus first comes
to Spira, Rikku's one of the first people he meets, and Rikku provides Tidus
with some information of Spira, and the status of his hometown as well. She
then later, joins Yuna as one of her guardians, and tries to find a way to
prevent Yuna from sacrificing herself for the sake a Spira. In the events now
of FFX-2, she gets a sphere from Kimahri, and shows Yuna that sphere with a
person that looks very identical to Tidus. Then, Rikku, along with Yuna and
Paine, start whole new adventure as a group called the Gullwings. It was said
that Rikku was once together with another Al-Bhed named Gippal, but she would
probably deny it at the moment. Rikku's still very energetic, and possible
more then she was in the past, and she also influences Yuna to act like her,
so they can have fun. If you read about how easily Yuna can be influenced,
you'll know why both Yuna and Rikku act the same at times. What fanboys just
love to get on this girl about is how annoying she can be in and out of the
battle-field. Also, this is the girl that most fanboys just love to have wet
dreams about, and it's not because of her personality, it's because she wears
the least amount of clothes out of the three I believe. Well, her look isn't
all that bad either.

Name: Paine
Age: 18
Leveling: Medium/Fast

A former candidate of a group named the Crimson Squad, who played the role of
the recorder for Nooj, Baralai, and Gippal. Paine's the very anti-social member
of the Gullwings, as well as being very serious about her past which she
doesn't like to mention. When she was back with the Crimson Squad around the
time of FFX, she used to laugh, have fun, and joke around with her friends.
Then, one time when the candidates for the Crimson Squad had a training course,
which was entering the Den of Woe, Paine witnessed Nooj,Baralai, and Gippal
pointing their guns to each other for an unknown reason. Shortly after they
passed the Den of Woe training, Nooj turned around and shot Baralai, Gippal,
and even their recorder Paine. Paine's part of the Gullwings to find out why
something like this would happen. She's pretty much the only battle-serious
member of the Gullwings, and doesn't really hesitate to say something bad
about somebody, nor does she enjoy being publicized. Yup, she's the underrated
member of the Gullwings, which means she doesn't get much fanboy bashing. Well,
it's because she's not annoying, always looking for a fight, and has some
similarities with the personality of the two heroes FF fanboys just love to
praise, and look up to (Cloud and Squall). Still, she's a member of the
Gullwings, which means this girl will also keep fanboys holding the controller
with only one hand.

"You're in there with the BEST, man!"
- Bill (Love Systems)

Alright! We shall now begin with the walkthrough of the NALL challenge. Before
I begin, I want to let everyone know that story-wise, I will treat this like a
regular walkthrough, and also, I want to show you the format I will use to
explain the FAQs of each required boss. Here's the format that I will use:

you to get the idea of how hard this enemy is/could be in this challenge. It's
also scaled out of 10 (ex: 7/10).

Description/Comments: How the enemy looks, or any history it might have, as
well as my comments on it.

When you start out, from a clean game (No New Game Plus), you will see the
the outside of the Blitzball Dome in Luca, which seems to be very quiet (except
for some birds you hear from the background). Then, you will go inside the dome
and see that there are people in there that are anticipating a concert. That's
when you see a guard that has been knocked out by Paine or Rikku, and you see
Rikku signaling on a radio that they are ready to go! Shortly after, you
witness a concert going on, and you see Yuna (pretending you don't know what's
going on, and even though you already know it's not her) singing the song "real
Emotion" on the stage, as well as it being the FFX-2 Intro. After you watch the
nice FMV, you will now have Rikku and Paine come on stage, and attempt to take
back what was theirs. That's when you fight your first battle:

Name: ????
HP: 82
MP: 9999
Exp: 3
Gil: 100
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison, Confuse
Berserk, Curse, Eject, Stop, Doom

Name: 2X Goon
HP: 29 (each)
MP: 8
Exp: 1
Gil: 30
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None
Status Immunities: Curse

Difficulty: 1/10

Description/Comments: This is the first battle you fight in FFX-2! For your own
sake in this challenge, I truly hope you don't have trouble with this battle.
If somehow, you were to lose this battle (which I doubt), please, I'd advise
you to hit the "Back" button, and re-attempt this challenge after you know what
you're doing on the field. Anyway, It's just the impostor, and two of her goons
in this battle.

Rikku
-----
Level 1
Dressphere: Thief
Garment Grid: First Steps

Paine
-----
Level 1
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: First Steps

Strategy: Once the battle starts, ???? will cast "Ecstasy" on both of her
goons, which will bump their HP to 29. When it's your turn to go, have Paine
just constantly attack the goons, and have Rikku steal all that she can from
the goons (odds are, you'll get a budget grenade). Once you take down both of
????'s goons, go for ???? herself, and just have Rikku steal a Hi-Potion from
her, and have Paine attack her. After a short time, ???? should go down, and
the battle will be over.

Once you will this battle, ???? will escape from your sight by throwing a flash
bomb. When you're playing as Rikku trying to chase her, you will have no choice
but to fight two more Goons. You shouldn't have too much trouble taking on two
more goons, this is actually one of the encounters that you are required to
fight, which you will also see later on in this game. So, after defeating the
two goons, go on quickly to the next window (before you fight an unnecessary
encounter). Then, once you arrive in the next window, move a little to the left
while still moving, Here's what I mean:

                   ^
                 | | | R = Rikku (you)
                 | \ X X | X = Fem-Goon
                 | \ |
_________________| \ |
                      \ |
                       \ |
                        \ |
                         \ |
_________________ ^ |
                 | | |
                 | |
                 | R |
                 | |
                  \ \

As you see, the line with the arrow at the end is where I want you to move as
Rikku. Make sure you avoid the two Fem-Goons, this is very critical in this
challenge since you're trying to fight the least amount of encounter as
possible. If you accidentally run into this encounter, start the game over, and
try it again (sorry, but it's part of the challenge). Once you get passed this
part, you'll hear Rikku complain (which will happen very often in this game),
Logos & Ormi will come into the scene, and Paine will tell her to back up.
Then, Yuna comes into the scene, and you will see a nice FMV of YRP (try to
keep your hand on the controller if you know what I mean). Once you see the
FMV of YRP, get ready for battle:

Name: Logos
HP: 86
MP: 18
Exp: 3
Gil: 60
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: Silence, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Stop, Doom

Name: Ormi
HP: 97
MP: 0
Exp: 3
Gil: 60
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: Silence, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 2.5/10

Description/Comments: Your first battle against Logos & Ormi, which shouldn't
be too troubling. You should already know how they look, and what they are all
about, right? You can just use the same strategy used when you first fought
them, nothing here doesn't interfere with the challenge in general.

Yuna
----
Level 1
Dressphere: Gunner
Garment Grid: First Steps

Rikku
-----
Level 1
Dressphere: Thief
Garment Grid: First Steps

Paine
-----
Level 1
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: First Steps

Strategy: Right at the start of the battle, try to focus all your attacks on
Logos, since he is physically the weaker one of the two. With Yuna, rather than
using "Trigger Happy" just attack with her since that will do more damage at
the time. Make sure you don't forget to steal all the items you can from Logos
& Ormi (Sliver Glasses and Iron Bangle) even though they are accessories. When
Logos goes down, just aim after Ormi, and have Paine use "Power Breaks" against
him, which will lower his attack, and then Ormi should go down.

Once they go down, ???? will appear telling them to stop, and then you will see
that Yuna and ???? look identical because of the Garment Grid she stole. After
you see Yuna get a little mad wanting her Garment Grid back, ???? reveals
herself was Leblanc, and you fight her:

Name: Leblanc
HP: 130
MP: 101
Exp: 8
Gil: 180
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: Berserk, Curse, Eject, Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 2.5/10

Description/Comments: This is your first one-on-one battle with an enemy! Just
follow the tutorial, and fight this battle like you pretty much normally would
in a regular game.

Yuna
----
Level 1
Dressphere: Gunner
Garment Grid: First Steps

Rikku
-----
Level 1
Dressphere: Thief
Garment Grid: First Steps

Paine
-----
Level 1
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: First Steps

Strategy: Once you begin battle, you are forced to change dressphere with Yuna
from a Gunner to a Songstress. Once you do this, use "Darkness Dance" like they
tell you to in order to blind Leblanc. Just keep on using "Darkness Dance" with
Yuna, and have Paine use some "Power Breaks" just in case she ends Leblanc ends
up hitting you after all. Then, just have Rikku steal a Silver Bracer from her
(remember, you many carry accessories, but do NOT equip them!). Keep this
sequence up, and Leblanc will go down!

*Yuna to Level 2!*
*Rikku to Level 2!*
*Paine to Level 3!*

After you beat Leblanc, and she hits the road along with Logos & Ormi, Paine
notices, and tells Rikku that Yuna's still dancing uncontrollably, which you
will see another FMV with Yuna dancing, and then after you head back to the
Celsius (the airship of course). You will meet the cast back on the airship,
and also see Brother wanting to see Yuna dancing again, which will happen very
often in this game. Make sure you talk to everybody on the airship to get
introduced to them, so you can move on with the game; however, do not forget
to go to the Engine Room, and get all the treasure chests that are available
there. Then, make your way to the Cabin, and sell all your accessories to
Barkeep, buy as many potions as you can from him, and then ask him for you to
rest. Once you rest, head back to the bridge, since you heard that Buddy's
received some incoming sphere data. Once you go back to the bridge, you will
now be heading for Mt. Gagazet.

*******************************************************************************
*>>>>>> <<<<<<*
*>>>>>>> 3.1.2) Mt. Gagazet <<<<<<<*
*>>>>>> <<<<<<*
*******************************************************************************

You are now heading for the ancient ruins in Mt. Gagazet, which was revealed
after the Fayth disappeared, as talked about by Yuna. Once you arrive on the
ruins of Mt. Gagazet, Yuna will lose her balance, and Rikku and Paine will pick
her up back to safety. After that, just go on ahead and follow Rikku and Paine,
and then go through the tutorial of re-learning how to jump. When it comes time
to get the Yellow Ring, you have the right to get it, but do not equip it.
After that, make sure you to NOT win any random encounters, but feel free to
steal from any fiend in battle (to make things faster, use Rikku as your "head
thief" since she has already gained some AP for that dressphere). There will be
a Save Sphere there, so Save, and make sure you Save often in this challenge.
Right now, this is a time you can actually go around for a while, and
repeatedly steal items from fiends, which could allow you gain much AP
(remember, she gains 1 AP if she actually makes a steal, if she doesn't steal
anything, she either doesn't gain any AP, or gains very little). Not only
Rikku, but you can have all your girls as thieves repeatedly stealing items
from different enemies. Then, after you've gained all the desired AP you've
wanted (this was just to get ahead, you could go through this part without
gaining more abilities, and you'd be alright), go on ahead, and activate the
machina-ran elevator. Then, continue through collecting all the treasure chests
you can find on the way, and get ready to face Leblanc, Logos & Ormi again:

Name: Leblanc
HP: 120
MP: 320
Exp: 20
Gil: 250
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Silence, Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject
Stop, ATK Down, DEF Down, ACC Down, Doom

Name: Logos
HP: 100
MP: 25
Exp: 10
Gil: 80
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Silence, Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject
Stop, Doom

Name: Ormi
HP: 130
MP: 10
Exp: 10
Gil: 80
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Silence, Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject
Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 4/10

Description/Comments: Here we go again, another fight with our most beloved
trio, not counting YRP. They are a bit stronger than they were the last time
you fought them, so are you, but not as strong as you would most likely be.
This is the first fight that will begin to reveal the difficulty of the NALL
challenge, but this is only the beginning, wait till you get further on in the
game.

Yuna
----
Level 2
Dressphere: Gunner
Garment Grid: First Steps

Rikku
-----
Level 2
Dressphere: Thief
Garment Grid: First Steps

Paine
-----
Level 3
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: First Steps

Strategy: This battle isn't all that hard, so you could just keep your usual
dresspheres on, and fight this battle. Anyway, the first person you are to
target would have to be Logos, have Paine attack (or use "Armor Break if you
know it yet), have Rikku steal a White Cape from Logos (if you can), and have
Yuna attack Logos as well. In a short while, Logos should go down, and this is
when you are to target Ormi now. Have Paine use "Power Break" on Ormi to
decrease is ATK stat, have Rikku steal Gauntlets from Ormi (if you can, again),
and have Yuna attack him as well (just regular attack, or "Cheap Shot" if you
know it). After some time, Ormi will go down, and you are left with Leblanc on
the field. Having Paine use "Power Break" will be useless (since Leblanc is
immune to it), so have her just attack, have Rikku steal a Tiara from her, and
have Yuna attack her in whatever way suits you best. After some short time,
Leblanc will go down, and you will be victorious! Remember, if you get in any
serious trouble, use potions to restore your HP.

*Yuna to Level 3!*
*Rikku to Level 4!*

After you take down Leblanc, Logos & Ormi, Leblanc will throw another flash
bomb, and try to beat you to the top of the mountain. When this happens, you
are to race Leblanc and her gang to the top of the mountain (or where the
sphere is). While you race her, you will encounter two more battles which you
can't avoid, so fight them (since you have no choice), and you should gain
any levels for them, but little Exp. Again, you are welcome to get any treasure
chest while your racing Leblanc, but just follow the guidelines. When reaching
a certain point of the mountain, the time limit will stop, and you'll see
Leblanc, Logos & Ormi hanging from a cliff in a attempt to possibly get a
treasure chest. After you see them struggling, get that treasure chest, and
continue on your way, but make sure you've saved first! Once you get to the top
of the mountain, you will encounter a fearsome monster:

Name: Boris
HP: 480
MP: 0
Exp: 26
Gil: 300
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Weak at Fire and Ice
Status Immunities: KO, Silence, Poison, Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 3.5/10

Description/Comments: Here we go, the first non-human boss you are to fight in
this challenge! It's actually not as hard as you might think, but make sure you
watch out for some of its moves that may cause your girls to stop functioning
while still alive, if you know what I mean that is.

Yuna
----
Level 3
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: First Steps

Rikku
-----
Level 4
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: First Steps

Paine
-----
Level 3
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: First Steps

Strategy: At the beginning of battle, have all your girls use the ability
"Power Break" in order to remove the threat of Boris's physical attack, or the
strength of his chewing attack. If any of your girls reach near death, just use
a potion to set her back on her feet. After using "Power Break" enough times to
lower his physical attack 10 levels, you can now use other "Breaking" abilities
if you have them, or just attack him down. If Boris chews you up and spits you
out, don't really bother using a Remedy to cure the "Stop" effect from the
other girl, this will waste your Remedies, and the "Stop" effect won't last
very long after all. So, pretty much once you drop Boris's physical attack down
10 levels, the battle is yours as long as you just keep attacking him, and use
potions only when necessary.

*Yuna to Level 4!*
*Paine to Level 4!*

Once you defeat Boris, you will now make your way into the room on the top of
Mt. Gagazet, and receive the sphere. Then, you will see Leblanc come into the
room like she's been beaten, and make some soar loser comments to the Gullwings
about them beating her to the sphere.

Mission Complete! *Collect Spoils*

Now you will head back to the Celsius, and hear about Brother not being on
board. Once you get on board, you'll see Brother on the ground beaten up from
some fiends that were probably on Gagazet for trying to save his cousin Yuna
(he sure expresses much love for his cousin, but possibly too much to get some
people scared). You can approach him if you'd like since doing this has almost
nothing to do with this challenge (no, this isn't a side-quest). Then, you talk
to Shinra, and watch the sphere you've just got in Gagazet. After watching the
sphere, you'll receive it as a dressphere, the White Mage dressphere, which can
be useful in some of these battles up ahead. Now, go back into the Cabin of the
airship, and again, sell all of your accessories, and buy a serious amount of
Potions, and also some Antidotes, Eye Drops, Softs, etc. Next, you will hear
about buddy getting some sphere waves from Besaid, and Zanarkand Ruins.

*******************************************************************************
*>>>>>> <<<<<<*
*>>>>>>> 3.1.3) Besaid Island <<<<<<<*
*>>>>>> <<<<<<*
*******************************************************************************

Now, you do have a choice to choose either Besaid or Zanarkand Ruins, but going
to Besaid is much easier, and is also recommended by the story itself to go
there first. So, Save on the Celsius first, and go STRAIGHT to Besaid (going
anywhere else besides Besaid or the Zanarkand Ruins will disqualify you from
this challenge, weather you go on foot or by airship). When you arrive in
Besaid, Save there, and go inside the village, and after all the talking, and
hearing about Wakka being a father soon (you can "Skip Scene" if you'd like),
go talk to Lulu, and get ready from some more talking and explaining of the
story. You will then see the sphere that started Yuna's adventure, and Lulu
will continue to give you some advise. Then, you will be asked to stay the
night, so go on ahead, and spend the night. Once you wake up, you will hear
about Wakka's disappearance, and that he may be hidden inside a the Cave of
Besaid. Since you should already know what to do, just go around, and find all
of the numbers that you need to get in order to decipher the lock of the door
that leads you inside the Besaid Cave. While doing this though, get any
treasure chest you find along the way, especially the one hidden under the
bridge (which is X2 Chocobo Wing). Also, I'd recommend that you go next to a
Save sphere, and purposely run into some random encounters while wearing the
Black Mage dressphere. Save before running into these random encounters though,
and make sure you do NOT win any of these random encounters, nor receive any
Exp. after battle. If you just cast magic with the Black Mages, you'll earn
some AP for it, but do not kill any fiends! After you train your girls, get all
the treasure chests you find, as well as the numbers to unlock the door to
Besaid Cave, enter the cave, and talk to Wakka. After you hear about a sphere
being inside the Besaid Cave, go through the cave, also make sure to get the
treasure chest there, and Save before you fight the Flame Dragon. Here's we go:

Name: Flame Dragon
HP: 980
MP: 84
Exp: 60
Gil: 300
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Weak at Ice, Half Damage with Fire, and Immune
to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Confusion, Berserk,
Curse, Stop

Difficulty: 6/10

Description/Comments: Alright, here we go, this is actually the first
challenging boss you'll encounter in this challenge. As you progress with the
story in this challenge, you'll find much harder Bosses than this one that will
just not hesitate to drop you within a few turns if the right precautions are
not taken. You may not have as much trouble with this boss as I have just
described, but I'll advise you to watch your HP many times. Heh, they seem to
keep on throwing good 'ol dragons at you like they did in the distant past.

Yuna
----
Level 4
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: Protection Halo

Rikku
-----
Level 4
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: Protection Halo

Paine
-----
Level 4
Dressphere: Warrior
Garment Grid: Protection Halo

Strategy: At the start of this battle, get ready to get blasted with its "Flame
Breath" (Preferably, just wait for him to do this). This will cause some tough
injuries to your girls, but just have each girl use a Potion on herself to
regenerate the lost HP. Now, have all your girls use "Power Break" to wear down
the Flame Dragon's ATK, go for at least 10 levels, and his attack will start to
only be like a minor scratch to you. If you've learned "Magic Break" with all
your girls, do that move next, and his "Flame Breath" will not longer be a
treat to you. After doing all this, just attack him to death, but if you don't
have "Magic Break", just do the same thing you did the last time he used "Flame
Breath".

Alternative Strategy:

Yuna

Dressphere: Songstress
Garment Grid: Protection Halo

Rikku
-----
Level 4
Dressphere: Black Mage
Garment Grid: Protection Halo

Paine
-----
Level 4
Dressphere: Black Mage
Garment Grid: Protection Halo

Strategy: At the start of this battle, again, get ready to get blasted with its
"Flame Breath", but this time have Yuna use "Darkness Dance" as soon as she
gets the chance to. "Flame Breath" will cause some semi-decent injuries to your
girls, but just have Rikku and Paine use Potions to recover from the injuries.
Just keep using the move "Darkness Dance" with Yuna, and have Rikku and Paine
use Ice magic at whatever level you have available. The Flame Dragon will just
continuously attack you, or swing his tail at you, but his accuracy is very
distorted, so he has very little chance of hitting you. This is a very sneaky
strategy, but it should work if you get it right.

*Yuna to Level 5!*
*Rikku to Level 5!*
*Paine to Level 5!*

After defeating the Flame Dragon, you'll receive the sphere, which turns out to
be the White Mage dressphere! You'll show the sphere to Wakka, and he'll say
that it wasn't what he was looking for. Then, he'll talk about how he should go
about when being a parent, and about his brother Chappu as well. When this gets
done, you'll head back to the Cesius. Mission Complete!

Save while you're still in the Celsius, and again, go see Barkeep, and sell all
of your accessories, and restock-up on items that you may need (make sure you
get many potions for the next boss you will encounter). Now, off to the Ruins
of Zanarkand, and you'll see that it has turned into a tourist attraction,
which really upsets Yuna. When you are there, you can talk to Issaru, and see
why this place has turned into such a tourist attraction. After that, move on
inside the dome, and just in case you forgot to stock up on items, you have
another chance to before entering the dome. You'll also see the Kinderguardians
outside as well, and they will also head in the dome. When you do inside the
dome, just continue through, and you'll just have a friendly conversation with
the Kinderguardians, but continue to go on. You'll run into one of Leblanc's
goons, who will pretty much reveal the password for you, Rikku ends up figuring
it out, but with the stupidest look on her face I've ever seen the entire time
I've had to deal with her :) Then, you'll have to deal with the goon in
physical matters, and you'll be fighting some more goons as you go on in the
dome (they are required to fight, so you have no choice). Make sure you also
get the treasure chests that lurk in the dome itself, and then continue through
the dome. Here's the result of those mini required battles: *Rikku to Level 6!*
So, when you continue through, get talked about monkeys, etc. you'll have a
conversation with Cid, who you end up telling off. Once you do that, continue
on again till you get into the room where you fought Yunalesca in FFX, and
that's where you'll hear a laughing voice, who ends up quizzing you. Just
figure out that it's Issaru, and he'll reveal himself, and also give you a
Garment Grid that will be pretty useful with gaining AP. After that, go back
inside the dome, and Save, then continue on, and get ready to be fighting the
Guardian Beast. Also, no, it doesn't need a password, just kick it's butt like
Paine told you to do so:

Name: Guardian Beast

Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Poison, Confusion, Curse,

Difficulty: 7/10

Description/Comments: Try to be a little careful with this battle, I've lost
this battle before due to getting "fatigued". The attack pattern of this boss
isn't all that complex, but the actual moves it does are what get on you the
most. Also, what I meant by fatigued (which I will also use moreover in this
guide) is how less often you are able to keep up with a boss for a long period
of time.

Strategy: At the start of this battle, have your all your girls use "Power
Breaks" against this beast to lower the irritation of this attack. After
lowering it 10 levels down, just continue to attack him attempting to get some
chain attacks, and using Potions when a girl is near death. This is why you
needed many Potions to beat this boss, that way your own fatigue will not kill
you. Don't worry about breaking his magic power since his attacks only consist
of physical attacks, but make sure you watch out for "Damocles Photon", which
will damage all girls for 50% of their Max HP. You may think "Magic Break"
might help against "Damocles Photon", but it won't since it's a fixed damage.
This will be a long battle, but make sure you keep up with him using Potions
when you are down, or Phoenix Downs when needed, and attacking him when you
are not on defense. Keep this sequence up, and in a long time, you should be
able to take him down.

Now that you've beaten the Guardian Beast, you will receive the sphere (or

Alright, now back on the Celsius, you'll hear Buddy getting some new sphere
waves that's even drawing a crowd, which is in Kilika Island. Yuna decides she
really wants that sphere, and decides to go after it. You now then, arrive at
Kilika Island, and again, see how joy that place looks (even though that place
is almost like walking the streets of LA). When you get there, go around, and
look for as many treasure chests as you find, and the three treasure chests I
definitely recommend you get are the curtains (Star, Lunar and Light Curtain).
You will also see how much Rikku has influenced Yuna in the way they act, which
is like a couple of high school cheerleaders that look like they are going
shopping in a mall. Also, make sure you go talk to a man that is standing close
to Dona's house, and see what he says about "Laying the Smackdown!" on Kilika
Temple (anybody who watches wrestling would get this). Anyway, proceed on into
Kilika Woods, and see Nooj, the leader of the Youth League, give out a speech
that goes against New Yevon. After that speech, everyone will attempt to break
through into the temple, so all you do is just go through a narrow passage
between the two blocked areas to the left, and continue to make your way
through. Also, Save there before going on in the woods, and continue on until
you reach the guards. The password you are to give then is "Carved Monkey" if
the total number of guards are odd, or "Craven Monkey" if the total number of
guards are even. Make sure you successfully get all the passwords correct, this
is also a requirement to this challenge since you avoid battles by doing this.
Once you successfully get through the guards without fighting, you'll also
receive a Garment Grid. Now, Once your at the top, one of the Youth League
members will say they found the sphere, and then the YSLS-Zero will come out.
Here we go, time to get it on:

Name: YSLS-Zero
HP: 1935

Description/Comments: Would you look at the size of that thing! This machine
(or should I say machina) looks like a huge powerhouse, and what's worse, it's
not weak at any magic! Alright, so how do I tank up my girls to survive its
hideous overpowered attacks, and have time for defense and offense at once?
Sure I could delay it's power very much, but Is there an easier way? Well...
the answer is simple, here's what you do.

-----
Level 7
Dressphere: Thief

Strategy: What the... Thief!? Are you giving up on me, what kind of suicide is
this? Heh, it's called the TEAT "Thieves Extreme Active Trick", which is
attacking in such a way with your thieves that makes it impossible for the
enemy to even lay a finger on you once you've started this! Keep in my though,
that this trick doesn't work on all the monsters of Spira, but actually some
selected ones that are physically impaired when taking hits. Anyway, in order
to make this dirty little trick to work on this boss, or making it just work in
general, all you have to do is wait for him to use a "regular" attack on you,
and then strike it before it hits you, which will knock him back to where he
was before he began to attack. Then, once you see him attempt to attack you
again, strike him again with a different girl, which again, will knock him back
to where he was before he began to attack. Since thieves are so fast, you are
able to do this over and over again making it so that the enemy never lays a
finger on you! Just time it right, and all the enemy will try to do is still
attempt to attack you, but it never will. Alright, if you still don't get it,
let me give you an example in a totally different way:

(Pretending YSLS-Zero, Yuna, Rikku, and Paine are having a conversation instead
of fighting)

YSLS-Zero: So ho…

Yuna: What's this sphere about?

YSLS-Zero: Well some woul...

Rikku: Really? How did you know that?

YSLS-Zero: I am th…

Paine: I don't think you're really tough!

YSLS-Zero: Pleas...

Yuna: I want that sphere!

YSLS-Zero: Excu…

Rikku: Hey! DO you think that "you know who" is on there?

YSLS-Zero: Sto…

Paine: Only one way to find out!

YSLS-Zero: *sob* I giv...

Yuna: Do you mean... "Tidus"?

As you see, YSLS-Zero wasn't even able to finish his sentence, translating this
to fighting, this is what I mean: Each time Yuna, Rikku or Paine would say
something, that would be like an attack, and YSLS-Zero not being able to finish
his sentence is him not being able to use his attack, but keep on getting
delayed by YRP. Anyway, using this "TEAT" strategy, which I will refer to from
now on as this trick. The YSLS-Zero won't even hurt you once you begin using
this trick, but again, you have to get him when he's using a regular attack, so
it won't work if he's about to use "Haymaker Punch", and just in case he uses
these moves for a while before he attacks, just be on defense mode using
Potions, or Phoenix Downs if it gets a little serious. So, just use the "TEAT"
strategy, and this boss should go down in a decent while.

*Yuna to Level 8!*
*Rikku to Level 8!*
*Paine to Level 8!*

Right after this battle, you see YRP celebrate their victory, and everyone else
in Kilika just staring at them in a an astounding way. Then, you see the
Celsius up above, the Gullwings make their escape, and take the sphere with
them, and also left behind very much unwanted fame for this incident.

*******************************************************************************

Right when the Yuna, Rikku, and Paine make their way back to the airship, Rikku
gets all excited about all the attention they got while on Kilika. Although
they got some good attention, notoriety does have its consequences as mentioned
by somebody of the Gullwings. Rikku, still overexcited about the fact that they
got the sphere, decides to agree with her brother about their publicity in
Spira, and this causes things to get a little chaotic for a while on the
Celsius. Later, everyone decides to watch the new sphere that they took from
Kilika, and as soon as the watch the sphere, Yuna gets emotional and wonders if
the man on the sphere is really "Him" (Tidus). On the other hand, Brother gets
a little scared at the huge Machina in the background. This sphere really moves
the Gullwings, and Brother decides to have Yuna sing so that they can all blow
off some steam. When you are supposed to go back to the Cabin and get the
musicians, go to the Engine Room, and get all the treasure chests there. After
you do that, go to the Cabin, and push all the musicians into the lift. You can
push Tobil first you you'd like, but remember, the accessory you get will only
work to be sold. Anyway, once you push the musicians into the lift, enjoy the
little singing Yuna does on the roof of the Celsius (if you don't want to see
it, you can just skip scene, and you'll skip part of it). Then, Yuna gets very
upset still thinking about what she saw in the sphere. She gets upset, but it's
not a very angrily way to get upset, her character just isn't like that even on
FFX-2, and she even says "Who the heck is Lenne?" no even using any type of
profanity. Feeling like this, Yuna decides to go to bed wearing her Songstress
dressphere, and this is when she has a nightmare of her and Tidus running
inside of a place underneath Bevelle perhaps. They are getting chased by
Bevelle guards, and meet a tragic end right in front of the hung machina known
as Vegnegun! After the nightmare, Yuna wakes up wondering what had just
happened, and then Rikku and Paine comment on her as well. Next, you head to
the bridge, and hear that Brother doesn't want to keep that sphere, and asks
Yuna if it's ok to give the sphere away. Yuna approves it, and everyone has
trouble deciding weather to give it to the Youth League or New Yevon. It really
doesn't matter too much whether you give it to the Youth League or New Yevon,
but since you don't get anything by giving it to the Youth League, it would be
better if you give it to the Youth League, and also since you won't be doing
any side-quests. Anyway, whether you give it to the Youth League or New Yevon:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So you decide to give the sphere to the Youth League, and head towards their
base at Mushroom Rock Road. When you get there and give the sphere to Nooj,
the Youth League congratulated the party for helping them out, and also assumed
that you were going to join them (but you're not). Then, Yuna asked Nooj if he
knew the man on that sphere, but Nooj responded with "I cannot say", and also
talks to you about the huge machina in the background (Vegnegun). Later, you
find out that you've been pilfered by Leblanc, Logos & Ormi, who took the half
sphere they had gotten in the Zanarkand Ruins!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                                    **OR**

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So you decide to give the sphere to New Yevon, and head towards their base in
Bevelle. When you get there, you gave the sphere to the New Yevon Praetor
(Baralai). Baralai as well as the rest of New Yevon thank you for the sphere,
and briefly explain the huge machina in the background (Vegnegun), and they
also start to believe that you were going to join them (but, again, you're
not). Then, Yuna asked Baralai if he knew the man on that sphere, but Baralai
responded with "I cannot say". Later, you find out you've been pilfered by
Leblanc, Logos & Ormi, who took the half sphere they had gotten in the
Zanarkand Ruins!

*******************************************************************************

Once you get back in the airship, you'll see a sphere of Leblanc, Logos & Ormi
taunting the Gullwings with the fact that they took their sphere. After viewing
the sphere, Yuna starts to get mad at the fact that this happened, and with
the help of some suggestions of the other members of the Gullwings, she decides
to take back what was theirs. When this happens, (like usual, go to the Cabin
and buy some more Potions, as well as Eye Drops, Phoenix Downs etc. from
Barkeep, and also sell your accessories as well) you are to go to Guadosalam,
in which you are to attempt to go inside of Chateau Leblanc, but the Goons
guarding the Chateau won't let you in, so you are going to have to steal three
Fem-Goon uniforms in order to get in. Now, make sure you go back to the airship
and remember, do NOT cross over to any other regions that you do not need to
go! This breaks a rule in this challenge and you will be disqualified! Anyway,
back on the Celsius, you can either go to Djose Temple, or Mt. Gagazet. In Mt.
Gagazet, you end up going to the Fayth Scar, and getting another uniform there,
and in Djose Temple, you can go outside where you are able to get a uniform, or
end up getting permission to dig, which is used as a prerequisite to go and get
a uniform in Bikanel Desert. Well, the battle outside of Djose Temple is
technically the most difficult out of the three, but to further challenge
yourself more, I'd suggest you fight the battle outside of Djose Temple first,
and also the other battles shouldn't be that hard after that. Anyway, head
straight towards Djose Temple, and go to the outside where you will see some of
Leblanc's Goons there for some reason. Follow them, and you'll see three Fem-
Goons talking about finding a sphere. Yuna then, hears this and decides to find
that sphere before they do, so just keep going straight, and you'll eventually
run into the sphere. When you get it (it's Yuna's special dressphere, it's
pretty much useless taking the restrictions of this challenge), Logos & Ormi
will appear, and will decide to take it back from you. Here we go again:

Description/Comments: Like I already said, this is the harder of the three
battles that you encounter when stealing uniforms. Trust me, do not take this
battle very lightly, just one little stupid mistake can really turn the tables
here in this fight. I actually lost this battle a few times, in which I thought
about going to steal the easier uniforms, but I kept at it, and came out of
that battle victorious! After this fight, you might actually win some new
respect from Logos & Ormi like I did :)

                        b | /
                         \ | d
                          \________Warrior________/

--------------------
|a = +5 Defense |
|b = +5 Defense |
|c = +5 Mag Defense |
|d = +5 Mag Defense |
--------------------

Once you have this, you may now get into this battle, and at the beginning of
battle, make sure you have Yuna, Rikku, and Paine switch dressphere all the way
to Warrior. That way, you can cross through "a" and "b", which will enable you
to have an extra +10 Defense for this battle (If you turn the dressphere
changing sequences off at the "Config" in the menu). Now you may start
fighting, so make sure you take down the Fem-Goon first, so you can fight Logos
& Ormi without any disturbance. The Fem-Goon should go down after about four
regular attacks, then make sure you go and target Logos next! Do not go after
Ormi yet, it will take longer for you to take down Ormi, and you will get worn
out easier. When you are attacking Logos, make sure you have one or two of your
girls use "Armor Break" on him, if you use all three, this will take longer,
and not to mention that Logos has incredible evasion, which will annoy you
throughout this battle, and among others as well. So, just have one or two of
your girls use "Armor Break", and have the others just attack him. You will
need to have your girls go on defense many times, such as using Potions,
Phoenix downs (if needed), and Eye Drops when Logos throws a flash bomb at you
(Keep in mind that you do have Light, Lunar, and Star Curtains, but make sure
you save them for the harder battles up ahead). Also, when you see Ormi about
to throw his big frisbee at you, have all your girls quickly go to "Sentinel"
so that that move will only take 1 HP on you instead of about 200 or so.
Anyway, Logos will evade many of your attacks, but don't let that get to your
head, just keep on going, and Logos should go down after you've pulled the
majority of your hair off. Once Logos goes down, Ormi shouldn't be too hard,
but make sure you watch out for his "Concussive Shock" attack which will
probably throw all your girls near death, or even kill some of them (hopefully
not all of them). Don't worry about this move early on in this battle, Ormi
starts using this move much later on in this battle, but once he uses it, he'll
start using it a little more often. So, when fighting Ormi now, make sure you
use "Power Break" since he's not immune to that attack like Logos was, this
will take off some frustration on moves like "Pirouette Pitch" (The frisbee
throwing move) and his regular attack. Though you will still need to watch out
for "Concussive Shock", so make sure you try to keep your HP pretty high at all
times. Keep attacking Ormi with your breaking moves (just use "Power" and
"Armor" Break), and then try to get chain attacks on him. Keep doing this as
well as going to defense when needed, and Ormi should go down in a decent
amount of time!

*Yuna to Level 9!*
*Rikku to Level 9!*
*Paine to Level 9!*

After defeating Logos & Ormi, you'll see them and the Fem-Goon hit the road,
and taking off with you taking the uniform of the Fem-Goon as well. Mission
Complete! 1 down! 2 to go!

Then, you'll be back in the Celsius, and notice that one of you will be wearing
a Fem-Goon uniform. While your in the airship, make sure you go and restock up
on some resources that were used in the last battle. Then, next, you should
head back to Djose Temple, and wait in line by just walking around, or doing
whatever you do that kills time in line. Once you are able to go inside, and
ask for permission to dig, and they will tell you to go inside Djose Temple and
and tell you that Gippal with interview you. When you go inside Djose Temple,
and have Gippal interview you outside, you are now able to go to Bikanel
Desert, and dig (only for this time that you need to dig, after that, do no
more digging!). Once you get full permission and a letter from Gippal, go back
to the Celsius, and head straight to Bikanel Island. When you get there, you
will need to show Nhadala the "Letter of Introduction" so you can be able to
check out the Oasis for them. When you are about to go to the Oasis, do the
usual (double-check your item stock, Save, etc.), and just head out. When you
get to the Oasis, you will see Rikku's special dressphere (again, useless), and
Logos will come out after you get it to surprise attack you. Lets go:

Name: Logos
HP: 1220
MP: 46
Exp: 160
Gil: 200
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Silence, Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject
Stop, Doom

Name: X2 Fem-Goon
HP: 167 (each)
MP: 172
Exp: 10
Gil: 70
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: None
Status Immunities: Curse

Difficulty: 5.5/10

Description/Comments: Logos is back, and he's come back with some vengeance, as
well as with some more Fem-Goons. He's a little tougher than he was when you
fought him last time, but Ormi's not with him. Also, keep in mind that you are
also slightly stronger than what you were in the last fight, so don't really
sweat this one.

Strategy: Right when the battle starts, make sure you go and take out the Fem-
Goons first, so you can fight Logos alone without getting annoyed by the magic
of the Fem-Goons. Once you do that, well, you can also use the same strategy
of getting +5 extra Defense and Mag Defense points if you'd like, but you can
also fight this battle without those bonuses. Anyway, once you get Logos along
in the fight, start "Power" and "Armor" breaking him down, but keep in mind
that Logos's evasion is still very high, so don't expect to connect with your
attacks every turn. Again, if you're near death with any girl, just use Potions
on them, and they will be just fine. Just keep on pounding Logos with your
physical attacks, and he should go down in a somewhat short while, and also
don't really expect anything new from him.

*Rikku to Level 10!*
*Paine to Level 10!*

Once you wins this battle, and see Logos hot the road again, you'll head back
to the Celsius. Mission Complete! 2 down! 1 to go!

When back on the airship, you'll see both Rikku and Paine in Fem-Goon uniforms,
and also don't forget to Save each time you win a huge battle like I said in
the beginning. If you used up a lot of resources, you can go to the Barkeep,
and stock up on more items as well as selling your new accessories. Now, your
next destination is Mt. Gagazet! When you get there, talk to Kimahri, and he'll
tell you about checking out Fayth Scar. You can get there quickly by using the
teleport. When you get where you need to be, have fun climbing the mountain,
and don't forget to get any treasure chests you find on your way up. When you
see a Save sphere, make sure you save, and then you either have a choice of how
you would like to fight the next battle: Would you rather fight the two Fem-
Goons, and Ormi Separate, or fight them all at once? Well, I'll leave this up
to you, but if you want to fight them all at the same time, go into the Hot
Springs the original way through the front, but if you want to fight them
separately, climb up close to the top, and walk into the Hot Springs into the
huge rock that looks like it's about to fall :). So, I'd recommend that you
pick fighting them separately (no! not because of the Hot Springs scene) so
that you can get some rest in between these battles. Anyway, climb up near the
top of the mountain, and walk into a rock that looks like it's about to fall.
When doing this, you'll hear two of Leblanc's Goons talk about the refreshment
of the Hot Spring they just came out of. Then, Ormi comes into the scene, and
tells them not to slack off, and that's when the huge rock begins to fall
taking the YRP with them in the Hot Spring! This scares Ormi and the Fem-Goons,
which causes them to leave. Now YRP are in the Hot Spring, so they decide to
have some fun while they are in it... So, enjoy the Scene of the Hot Spring,
and if you don't like it, just momentarily leave the set or turn off the TV. In
this scene, you'll see Rikku comparing boob sizes with the rest of YRP, (even
though her boobs aren't big themselves). Then, you will hear Brother attempt
to go there, but Buddy will knock him out before he does. Anyway, after this
scene, you'll be heading back down the mountain, and that's when you run into
two of Leblanc's Fem-Goons who want their uniform back:

Name: X2 Fem-Goon

difficulty with this fight, please learn to regenerate your HP before a fight).

After you take down the Fem-Goons, go to a Save sphere and regenerate you HP/MP

Description/Comments: Ormi's back, and he's a little better then he was when
you last fought him. Well, actually he's much harder than how he was when you
last fought him with one of his new moves that can actually kill a girl once
it's used... wait, that's not in this battle, sorry for the scare :). This
battle isn't as hard as the battle with both Logos & Ormi, but proceed with

--------------------
|a = +5 Defense |
|b = +5 Defense |

Once you have this, you may now get into this battle, and at the beginning of
battle, make sure you have Yuna, Rikku, and Paine switch dressphere all the way
to Warrior. That way, you can cross through "a" and "b", which will enable you
to have an extra +10 Defense for this battle (just a slick way of earning more
stats again). Then, once you do this, have all of your girls use "Power Break"
to lower Ormi's offensive physical attack. Again, Watch for his "Pirouette
Pitch" attack, and use the move "Sentinel" to help you guard against that move.
Once you break his power all you can (down 10 levels), use "Armor Break" to
take his physical defense down. Just keep attacking him over and over possibly
trying to get some chain attacks along with defensively taking cover, and Ormi
should go down.

*Yuna to Level 10!*

After you take down Ormi, he will hit the bricks, and you've got yourselves the
last uniform! Mission Complete!

*******************************************************************************

Alright! You've now got all 3 uniforms, and it's time to hit Chateau Leblanc,
and take back what was yours! Before you do that though, make sure you go to
the Cabin, and really stock up on supplies because you're really going to need
them. Make sure you buy plenty of Potions, Phoenix Downs, Eye Drops, Softs,
etc. all of everything (you've really got a tough battle ahead of you, trust
me). Once you do that, make sure you Save (it would help to save on a different
file because this is a "point of no return" for a while, so if you screw up big
time on your file, you've go the back-up one to save your time). Anyway, you
are now to head off to Guadosalam, and sneak inside Chateau Leblanc. When you
dress up into the Fem-Goon's uniforms, you'll throw off the guards, and be able
to make your way in this time. Once you're in you'll see Leblanc and Nooj
taking about something, and Leblanc being very kind to Nooj as well. After this
happens, go inside the banquet hall, and talk to Logos & Ormi, and they will
tell you to go tend the boss to your duties. So now go inside Leblanc's room,
which is upstairs, and go tend to her duties by giving her a wonderful massage!
This is a required mini-game, and nothing to do with the challenge itself, but

giving Leblanc a massage. This is merely a guessing game in my opinion, but it
is fun to try especially when you got the volume high. Lucky for you, you're
playing as a disguised real female. If you use your logic, this can help take
fear away of "kinoing" real females. Remember, it's "no big deal" when you

just start massaging in the middle of her back. Remember, each massage equals

you decision wisely. When you get a pink heart, and hear her shout out in

get mad at you, be careful! Just keep trying to satisfy her, and after 15
rounds, she should go down!

After the massage, Leblanc will be sleeping on the bed, and then Logos & Ormi
will come into the room and ask you to check the secret door in the banquet
room. So, just go to the banquet room, and just investigate the back wall,
which will be checked out by Rikku, who discovers the switch and falls through.
When this happens, YRP will change back into their regular attire, but then get
caught by Ormi after Brother creates much noise through the radio. When they
get caught by Ormi, he tried to take matters into his own hands along with some
reinforcements:

Description/Comments: Ormi's back, again, but this time, he's got some
reinforcements with him which are a little stronger as well. This is the first,
and the easiest of the 3 fights you're going to have in Chateau Leblanc. Make
sure you watch yourself in this fight, and also make sure this fight doesn't

Equip: +10 Defense and Mag Defense
---------------------
|a = +10 Defense |
|b = +10 Defense |
|c = +10 Mag Defense |
|d = +10 Mag Defense |
---------------------

At least this Garment Grid is designed the same way Protection Halo is, but
just with better stat bonuses on the boarders. Anyway, I'll tell you this right
now so I won't have to bring this up all the time in the other 2 battles. Make
sure you set this Garment Grid up the same way in those battles, and cross the
same boarders you did with the Protection Halo Garment Grid so that you may
have +20 Defense as an advantage in this battle (if you want to see my
explanation of what to do with the Protection Halo Garment Grid, look in the
previous battles). Anyway, after you get these stat bonuses, and are back to
Warrior, go after the Fem-Goon first, which should take about 3 to 4 hits now.
Then, aim towards the Dr. Goon which might take a little more hits to take
down. When you now have Ormi alone in battle, start to fight him the same way
you've fought him the last times with breaking his power down as well as his
physical defense. Guess what? Like I said already in the description, Ormi has
a new move, and you're really not going to like it at all. This move is called
"Huggles", and it's a 3 hit move that will annihilate one of your girls one
it's used! I've tried using the Warrior's "Sentinel" move, but it's never
worked, so I'd advise you not to try it (however, if you do get it to work,
please notify me at once! you'll be credited!). So, when Ormi uses this move,
just make sure you have a Phoenix Down ready along with a Potion as well. Ormi
uses this move somewhat often, but not as often as his other moves, so take
advantage of that fact, and break him down immediately. Once you break his
offense and defense down (10 levels), just go for your physical attack
attempting to get some chain attacks. Just keep on hanging in there with your
physical attacks, and your defensive recovery (remember, all girls must survive
all these battles in this challenge).

*Rikku to Level 11!*

Once you take down Ormi, he'll leave the scene, and you'll have to walk through
this back area of Chateau Leblanc. There's a Save Sphere right there, so make
sure you save! because you're really going to have to this time, and while you
have time now, you can learn all the abilities you can to help you in these
next 2 battles. If you're planning on doing this (which I suggest you do if you
haven't already), I'll give you a hint on how you could easily gain some AP
without breaking any of the rules. If you remember, I mentioned a Garment Grid
that you got from Issaru for figuring him out at Zanarkand Runis. This Garment
Grid is called Heart Reborn, and equipping it lets you be able to use the spell
"Cure", and using this spell once during battle gives you 1 AP for every time
it's used. Also, since you'll be healing yourselves, you really don't have to
worry about anything else (except running out of MP, in which you should just
flee from battle when that happens). I'd suggest learning the abilities of the
White Mage, Thief, Warrior, and Black Mage, since they can come in handy later
on. After you train on abilities all you want, just go around the area getting
any treasure chests you can get, and then just go into Logos & Ormi's room.
When you're in there, you'll see a sphere that's just there, (which is an old
recording of the report of the Crimson Squad) and then both Logos & Ormi will
just come into the room, and take you on:

Description/Comments: Here we go, this is number 2 of the 3 tough battles you
will fight here in Chateau Leblanc. Look's who's back! Logos is back to join up
with Ormi in this fight, and like Ormi, Logos has learned another move that
can be to die for, or that will leave you petrified! Make sure you watch this
move because this can really mess things up for you. This will be the last time
you will ever fight Logos & Ormi alone, proceed with caution.

Strategy: Alright, as you see the starting dresspheres, you'll need to switch
back to Warrior in order to cross those +10 Defense boarders, which will be
very helpful in this battle. Once you do this, make sure you go and target
Logos with some "Armor Breaks", so that you can lower his defense, and be able
to inflict more damage on him. Remember, he still has incredible evasion, so
don't really let that get to your head again, just keep on going with those
attacks when you are on the offense. The new move I talked about in the
description regarding Logos is called "Russian Roulette", which is a move that
can inflict either KO, Petrification, Silence, Poison or Curse, but no damage
(at the very least). When Logos uses this move, be ready to use whatever item
you need to use to cure the girl it targets, but if it's just Poison, Curse or
Silence, don't worry about it, just keep on going. For some reason, When you
are fighting both Logos & Ormi, Omri doesn't use his "Huggles" move as often
as he usually does, so that's one less thing to worry about. When you are able
to take down Logos, things should get MUCH easier, and remember that if you are
near death, use Potions to help you get back on your feet. So, when you are now
facing Ormi by himself, just break his power down like always, then aim for his
armor next. Just keep at it, and also try to keep your HP high so that
"Concussive Shock" doesn't instantly kill you when it's used. Many of these
battles to come will be all about fatigue, so just keep at him, and he'll go
down in a decent amount of time.

*Yuna to Level 11!*
*Paine to Level 11!*

Once you take down Logos & Ormi, they'll run away for now, and set all the
traps as well. That's when you go, and attempt to get through them, but they
shouldn't be that hard, you should already know what to do. So once you
activate all the switches, you are now able to go through the door that was
locked, but make sure you Save though! The upcoming battle isn't exactly a walk
in the park, it's more like walking through the streets of LA in the wrong part
of the neighborhood flipping the wrong gang signs. Anyway, once you Save, go
through the round shaped door that will take you where they put the half-sphere
they took. When you do this, Leblanc, Logos & Ormi will come after you, and
go No Mercy on you in this battle! May the best team win! Good Luck:

Description/Comments: This is it! The last battle with Leblanc, Logos & Ormi,
and what better way to end this than with all out fight! Before I even remade
this challenge to be harder, I still remember this particular battle being
difficult (yup, even when coming in that battle with Dark Knights). I've
actually lost this battle a few times before coming up with the right strategy
and winning. You'll be overwhelmed with 3 targets attacking you at once, and
this will also be fast paced as well. Wait till you see their "Triple Dual
Tech" attack, which might not be for the "fan" of heart. The only advantage
here is that Logos & Ormi aren't as strong as they were in the last fight, but
still tough nonetheless.

Dressphere: Gunner
Garment Grid: Hour of Need

Strategy: Right at the start of the match, make sure you change your dressphere
back to warrior, so that you can again, pass those +10 Defense boarders. Once
you do this, you should have a Star Curtain that you got from Kilika on hand,
so use it in order to reflect Leblanc's Spells right back to her, and so that
you can eliminate that factor for the time being. Then, it would also help to
use a "Chocobo Wing" that you got from Besaid, so that your moves can match up
to theirs in terms of speed. Now, when you are in the offense, make sure you
aim after Logos first, and not Leblanc, and use your "Armor Break" attack when
you hit Logos, and yes, he still has incredible evasion along with Leblanc.
You'll really be attacked regardless of Leblanc's spell isolation, so you'll be
needing to go to defensive recovery many times, when so, just use Potions, and
any other items that can cure any serious status aliments that really bug your
performance. Remember, you got Logos still using his "Russian Roulette", you
also got Leblanc defensively supporting the team with "No-so Mighty Guard" and
"Love Taps", and their Triple Dual Tech I told you about in the description.
This Triple attack is called "No Love Lost", and is a combination of Leblanc
creating a tornado to consume YRP, Logos firing multiple shots at them while
they are in the air, and to finish it off, Ormi Pouncing on them! Now, these
were just their attacks, they do plenty more as well in this battle. Anyway,
when you are near death, just use multiple Potions on yourselves to get back on
your feet. Make sure though, you keep on attacking Logos with your "Armor
Break", but to make things faster, just have 1 or 2 of your girls use this move
and the other(s) just attack him. This is the hardest part of this battle, but
just make sure you keep hitting Logos, along with staying on defense as well.
Once you are able to get Logos down, you'll never have to worry about "No Love
Lost" or "Russian Roulette". So, now you've got Ormi and Leblanc left, out of
the two, it would be wiser to attack Ormi now since his evasion is pretty low
with comparison to Leblanc or Logos, and also since you still might have the
reflect effect (hey! that rhymes!) on, which guards against Leblanc's spells.
Just hit Ormi with "Power Breaks" first, then break his defense like you
usually hit him. He's not alone, so he won't use his "Huggles" move, and that
makes things much easier. Once you get Ormi down, Leblanc is now the only one
left :). When targeting Leblanc, just go for regular attack since your MP
might already be worn out. Also, keep going to defense just in case, you're
almost there. Just keep hitting Leblanc (or trying to hit if you know what I
mean), and she'll throw in the towel after a decent amount of time. Victory
is Yours!

(If you're like me, you'd pick Leblanc, Logos & Ormi up, extend out your hand,
and show some respect for this team, this was such an excellent fight!)

After you beat Leblanc, Logos & Ormi, they will let you have the sphere after
Paine pretty much threatens them with the fact that they are inside, and nobody
will hear them scream. When you see what's no the sphere, you'll again see the
huge machina Vegnegun, and Leblanc will tell you a little more information
it as well as asking Yuna what she plans to do about this. Then, Yuna get all
emotional (this will happen often, and this shows that Yuna's still the same
loving person she was back then), and talk about the "Eternal Calm" slowly
fading away. After that, Leblanc, Logos & Ormi invite themselves onboard
your airship, and everyone heads towards Bevelle. Yuna gets into this for a
while, and Leblanc tells her that she's just very useful (as mentioned in the
characters section, this is Yuna's weakness, she lets other people use her this
way, unfortunately).

*******************************************************************************
*>>>>>> <<<<<<*

*******************************************************************************

Now, we're off to Bevelle, they won't give you any time to stock up on things
from the airship, but don't worry, Barkeep will follow you along the way and
let you stock up on any items you need. Once you get there, Leblanc, Logos &
Ormi will talk to you for a while, then leave you to do all the fight against
the guards. Since these battles have no real connection with any bosses, I'll
just tell you to strike them a few times, and they will go down. You can't
escape from these battles, so you have to fight them, but good thing is that
they aren't really worth much Exp. I will tell you this though! Aviod talking
to the little Yevon-like kid that's just walking around and that's in control
of the lift, that way you can avoid an unnecessary battle there. So, after you
fight all the required battles with the Yevon Guards, go inside, and do all
that is needed to be able to get to the Bevelle Underground. After you do that,
you will descend down, and you'll see some fiends in the temple, and Paine says
that the temples reek of secrets. Make sure you only fight the fiends you are
supposed to fight even if it means that you have to avoid some of the treasure
chests there. When you descend further, you'll see a Save sphere there,
treasure chests, and Barkeep again, so make sure you Save and re-prepare
yourself for the next part with the usual. You will now jump into a huge hole
that looked like it was recently made (yup, that's the Gullwings, as uncautious
as ever, and they are able to do this for the same reason they are able to hold
their breath so long underwater), when you land (on your feet may I add),
you'll see some heavy machinery in the Bevelle Underground, and Leblanc, Logos
& Ormi will now come into the huge room as well. Yuna gets some sad feelings
about what she had just seen here, and then all of a sudden... the alarm goes
off! That's when you are to slide down the thin wire with Yuna into the center
where you will fight some machina guards. When you do take them down, you'll
have to disable the security system by activating all the doors with the blue
lights by them. Make sure you ONLY activate the doors with the blue lights by
them, this is part of keeping your levels down. So, there are 3 doors you must
activate with blue lights by them, and each time you activate one, you fight a
YSLS-Zero. To take them down, just get 3 Thieves, and use the "TEAT" strategy
I've told you about the first time you fought one. So after you disable the
security system, you are now able to go further, and also this is the overall
result of the non-boss battles you've fought since you got to Bevelle:

*Yuna to Level 15!*
*Rikku to Level 16!*
*Paine to Level 16!*

Yes, you've gained a lot of Exp. of these regular encounters, but you won't be
going through something like this anymore :). Anyway, when your in the
Labyrinth now, make you to go to the right first! This takes you to a treasure
chest that give you a Garment Grid called "Downtrodder" which you will really
need in this challenge. So once you get that, continue through until you get to
a part with multiple lifts. When you get there, choose one lift, and then jump
back down to where you came from, and go take the front lift to be able to
climb onto the platform to partially open a new way to get a certain treasure
chest ahead. When you do that, go back down, take the other lift now, go back
down again, and retake the front lift to be able to climb onto that platform.
Once you do all this, a new way leading to a treasure chest will be fully
unlocked. You may now progress further, and make sure you get that treasure
chest, which contains a very useful dressphere called the Dark Knight. When you
do that, go to the Save sphere in that area, and Save because the next battle
will be pretty decent. Just go further on, and you'll run into the New Yevon
Praetor Baralai, who will not allow you to pass. So, then you fight him:

Name: Baralai
HP: 3380
MP: 540
Exp: 1000
Gil: 1300
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Confusion, Berserk, Curse
Eject, Slow, Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 8/10

Description/Comments: The New Yevon Praetor is much stronger than he looks in
this battle. Don't get intimidated or distracted by his loud screaming before
his attacks, and this is a battle you also shouldn't take very lightly either.
He has many different moves you can use against you that either inflict a good
amount of damage, or have very disturbing side-effects. I actually lost my first
battle against him in this challenge, that is, until the use of the Downthrower
came to mind.

Equip: Gravity Eater
--------------------
|a = Gravitystrike |
|c = Use Demi |
|abc = Double HP |
--------------------

This might be tempting, but do NOT cross through boarder "a", even if it means
that your HP will double! If you do cross boarder "a", your physical attacks
will have no effect on Baralai (You'll have Gravitystrike, and Baralai is
immune to Gravity, common sense :D). Well, what's the use then of this Garment
Grid in this battle? The answer is... "Gravity Eater", and since one of
Baralai's moves is using the spell "Demi" (which takes off 1/4 of your girl's
remaining HP), you'll be able to absorb 1/4 of your HP when he uses that spell.

So, when you go into battle, have 1 (or 2 if you think you can handle that) of
your girls use the Warrior's physical breaking moves (Power and Armor Break),
and have the others be ready for defensive recovery with Potions, Phoenix Downs
and Remedies. Baralai will have a very good series of attacks indeed, the ones
you should keep an eye out for the most are "Drill Shot", "Looming Glacier",
and maybe "Glint" as well. "Looming Glacier" will take out of all one girl's MP
and cast Stop on her, "Glint" is just a regular attack that hits all your girls
sometimes, and last but definitely not least "Drill Shot" will hit a girl with
a fixed amount of damage equivalent to 75% of her Max HP! So when Baralai uses
"Drill Shot", odds are that you won't survive it in which case use will use a
Phoenix Down to revive the girl that just got KO'ed, and when Baralai uses
"Looming Glacier", have one of your girls use a Remedy on the one that just got
hit, and if you run out of Remedies, just keep going as if the girl who's on
Stop is KO'ed (She'll eventually start moving again). When you finally break
down Baralai 10 levels with his physical attack and defense, just charge at him
with a "Defensive Recovering Brute Force", and also make sure you try to get
some chain attacks in as well. Just keep up your vigor, and Baralai should go
down after some decent time.

*Yuna to Level 16!*
*Rikku to Level 17!*
*Paine to Level 17!*

After taking down Baralai, you can now move on (even though it's not much
moving on itself), but first, make sure you go back and Save, because this is
the last time you will be able to in this Chapter! After you Save, move on, and
find out that you are to face one of Yuna's former Aeons Bahamut! Yuna will try
to stop Bahamut by means of reasoning which wasn't very smart, but it took a
lot of heart. Then, Yuna has no choice but to fight Bahamut:

Name: Bahamut
HP: 8400
MP: 9999
Exp: 1300
Gil: 1000
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 6.5/10

Description/Comments: Well... if it isn't the legendary king of dragons himself
Bahamut! Just when you thought that Bahamut would never been seen again in
Spira after the Fayth disappeared, he comes back... but why? (you should know
by now!) Heh, out of all the Aeons returning you have to fight Bahamut first!
Well, don't get too intimidated, he's actually not as strong as you might
think, even under these restrictions.

Strategy: If you'd like to start out as Gunner in this battle, and cross your
way back to Warrior to gain those stat bonuses, you may do so. It really won't
be such a big deal since Bahamut will end up damaging you at amounts that will
make you pee in your pants out of laughter. Very low HP will be seen being
damaged and delivered, so this will be a long battle, and will also bring back
those low HP taking times for any of those old-schoolers out there. After many
rounds of fighting Bahamut, you'll start to realize that Bahamut's more
predictable than you thought he was, all he does is either physically attack
you or use "Curse" on you, use a couple of "Impuses", and then countdown his
"Mega Flare" and use it. So, right when you get into this battle, make sure you
have all 3 girls break his Magic Attack first, then his physical attack, and
finally his physical defense. You should be able to break down his Magic Attack
10 levels before he uses "Mega Flare", but "Impulse" is an unofficial
gravitational attack that takes off 37.5% of all your girls' current HP, so
you really can't do anything about that. Just regenerate with Potions if your
HP goes down TOO much, but don't get scared when Bahamut starts to countdown
to his "Mega Flare" because when Mega Flare hits you... it'll damage you for
about a whole 50 HP! After you break Bahamut down 10 levels on all that I've
told you to break, again just use your "Defensive Recovering Brute Force" with
some chain attacks. This will take a while, but you'll notice that you're
getting close to taking him down when you start to see him get tired. Victory!

Right when you head back to the Celsius, you'll hear the new that fiends are
pouring out of all temples! Yuna wants to do something about it, so then Rikku
comes up with the idea of calling themselves the "Friendly Neighborhood
Gullwings". That way, they can help out fighting fiends in the temples, and be
able to help out Spira. Bubby says that they also got a call from the Youth
League for some reason, so your Hotspots are Besaid, Kilika and Mushroom Rock
Road. For some reason, you are not required to go to Mushroom Rock Road, so you
can just ignore that. Anyway, head to the Engine Room and get the treasure
chests, and you'll see that you've received some Hi-Potions from one of them,
and that also means that Barkeep will now begin to sell you Hi-Potions! Yay!
So, stock up on as many Hi-Potions as you can get, and sell your accessories as
well. When you do that, you have a choice to either go to Kilika or Besaid.

*******************************************************************************

Assuming you made a wise decision and headed towards the Besaid Temple, you now
are off to Besaid. When you get there, there will be a new set of fiends there
(obviously), so make sure you steal from them because one of the enemies there
gives you a Lunar Curtain when you steal from it. Make sure you get as many
Lunar Curtains as you can get as well as any other items you can get from
stealing, and it would also help if you pilfered some gil while doing this, or
having the ability "Master Thief" would really help you as well. So after you
take some time to do all of this, go now into Besaid and investigate what's
going on. When you go inside Wakka & Lulu's house, Lulu will tell you that
Wakka and the others have already taken care of the fiends, but that there
still might be more of them. When you now head outside, you'll get a little
intro of the Commsphere, and then you'll see Wakka and Beclem argue from afar
about whether or not they should burn the temple. So, YRP decide to check out
what's going on, and then that's when Beclem explains to Yuna why the temple
should be burnt down, but Yuna still decides to go in wanting to handle this
manually. It says that you must defeat all the fiends before Beclem burns the
temple down, which I doubt will happen, right? So go inside, pass the Cloister
of Trials, get any treasure chest you see on the way, and meet up with Wakka
who looks like he's beat down. YRP tell Wakka to stay there, and when YRP come
into the Chamber of Fayth, they see yet another aeon there. Yuna still wonders
what's going on, but they have on choice but to fight it:

Name: Valefor
HP: 8430
MP: 9999
Exp: 1500
Gil: 1200
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 7/10

Description/Comments: Yuna's very first aeon is back, but not in a ever so
friendly matter. Well, believe it or not Valefor is stronger than Bahamut was,
but try not to really sweat this aeon, this battle is just about similar to
the one you fought against Bahamut, except more attacks that can actually have
the ability to kill you.

Strategy: Again, if you'd like to start out as Gunner in this battle, and cross
your way back to Warrior to gain those stat bonuses, you may do so, and this
time I actually recommend that you do so. After you do what I mean for you to
do, this battle will again deal with low HP all over the place like the last
battle, and will be pretty long as well. Though unlike Bahamut that was
unbelievably predictable, Valefore uses whatever he wants whenever he wants.
His physical attack takes a decent amount if not brought down, his "Sonic
Wings" will not really bother you at all by damaging your MP, his "Energy Ray"
will bother you at times, and his "Energy Blast" will be the move you won't
like out of all his others. When you start off this battle, do the same thing
you did for Bahamut and break his Magic Attack first, then his Physical Attack
next, and then finally go for his Physical Defense. If you bought a lot of Hi-
Potions like I told you to, your "Defensive Recovering Brute Force" will be
an easy job, and luckily Valefor doesn't use any attacks to cause any stats
effects. Also, before I forget, make sure you use a Lunar Curtain to help you
against Valefor's Magic Attacks (you should've packed loads of them!). So when
you lower Valefor's stats down 10 levels, "Energy Ray" will deal about 30 HP to
all of your girls, and "Energy Blast" will deal about the same Bahamut's "Mega
Flare" dealt to you! So now you can just continuously use you "Defensive
Recovering Brute Force" along with some chain attacks, and Valefor will be
taken down after a formitable amount of time.

*Yuna to Level 18!*

Yuna will now get emotional again about Valefor being her very first aeon, and

may have to burn it down.

selling your accessories. When you get to Kilika, make sure you do what you did
last time you got there and get all the treasure chests that contain the
Curtains in them. When you do that, go talk to Dona's house and talk to her,
and then she'll help you get through the gate into the Kilika Woods. Just go at
the right time, and you'll be rewarded will a Bushido Lore (which will only be
useful for selling). Then, you'll be inevitably caught by one of the guards,
which causes you to run into the woods, and Dona yells out to you "Walk the
Treetops". You can Save there, and then just try to first attempt to get
through to realize that you're trapped. Then Yuna will remember to "Walk the
Treetops" if you stand near a treetop, and you'll be on your way ontop of the
treetops. So when you arrive outside the temple, there will be a merchant there
just hanging around, and make sure you buy from him about 10 Softs because you
are going to need them! So when you get inside the temple, Save, then move on
into the Cloister of Trials where you will see Barthello struggling. There you
will get into some battles with Daevas, who take a while to defeat, but make
sure you have a Soft with you when he Petrifies one of your girls. So after you
defeat all the required Daevas you have to defeat:

*Yuna to Level 19!*

You will now be able to move on, and also pick up the Samarai dressphere on the
way (you'll be needing this dressphere in a certain battle in Ch5). When you
get to the Chamber of Fayth, you'll see again that it is an aeon causing all
this trouble, and so you have to fight it:

Name: Ifrit
HP: 8820
MP: 9999
Exp: 1800
Gil: 1300
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Weak at Ice, Absorbs Fire, and Immune to
Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 7/10

Description/Comments: Well, if it isn't the legendary Ifrit himself who you
should definitely know by now if you've played other Final Fantasies. He's
very slightly stronger than Valefor, and is also more aggressive as well. He's
a Fire Elemental (obviously), so you know what not to use on him. Ifrit didn't
cause me too many problems, so don't really try to sweat this one either.

Strategy: This time, I'd really recommend that you start out as Gunner in this
battle, and cross your way back to Warrior to gain those stat bonuses. Also,
like Valefor, Ifrit hits you with whatever he wants, when ever he wants, so
don't be expecting him to hit you with a certain attack at a certain time.
Ifrit's physical attack is somewhat decent, "Firaga" might hit you pretty hard
at first (it might be a lv3 spell, but don't trip), but that's why you should
break his Magic Attack ASAP, "Meteor Strike" will also be decent, and "Hell
Fire" will hurt you pretty bad if you don't break him quickly! Too bad you
don't have any way of absorbing is Fire attacks, but that's all the more
challenging... right? Anyway, first start off by using a Lunar Curtain to help
you out against his magic attacks, and then have your girls use "Magic Break"
ASAP so you can quickly wear down his magic. Once his magic is worn down 10
levels, go after his physical attack with "Power Break", and then go for "Armor
Break". Once you completely wear down his stats, all of his attacks will not
really hurt you much, and that's when you get your chain attacks in along with
your good old fashioned "Defensive Recovering Brute Force" with your Hi-Potions
and possibly Potions if you're watching your budget (which you might not need
to if you looked at the "Hints" of this guide). Just keep at Ifrit with this
strategy for a formidable amount of time, and Ifrit should go down.

When you now defeat Ifrit, the Kilika Temple will now be restored, and you are

When back on the Celsius, you'll see the Gullwings thinking about what's been
going on as of late with the temples. Then Shinra will say that the fiends are
coming from the Chamber of Fayth, but he still doesn't exactly know why, and
then you'll get a distress call from Djose Temple. Brother goes against going
to Djose Temple, but Yuna decides to help them out anyway. Be sure to re-stock
up on some Hi-Potions again because you'll need them, especially for this next
battle! So when you arrive at Djose Temple, the Al-Bhed will tell you that the
fiends have merged with machina to become stronger, and also that Gippal is not
there. When you go inside the temple and into the Cloister of Trials, you'll
see many fallen Al-Bhed, along with a treasure chest that you should get. When
going further, you'll have to push a certain switch in order to advance into
the Chamber of Fayth, and if you push the wrong switch into the wall, you'll
go into a random encounter, but the good news is that you are able to run from
them, so do so! When you go now into the Chamber of Fayth, you'll see Ixion
going a little crazy, and you'll have no choice but to fight it, and take it
down:

Name: Ixion
HP: 12380
MP: 9999
Exp: 2600
Gil: 1800
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Weak at Water, Absorbs Lightning, and Immune
to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, Doom

Difficulty: 8.5/10

Description/Comments: Ixion is back, and looks like he's out to murder anything
in its path! This is where the Dark Aeons will start to get challenging, so you
better watch this battle, and take heed at what I say because a minor mistake
can take you down for a while. I almost lost this battle the first time I
fought it, but I somehow was able to make it out alive with many of my Hi-
Potions, and other resources used up!

Rikku
-----
Level 20

Strategy: Make sure you start out as Gunners (even though I have all the girls
as Warriors above), and cross the boarders right back to Warrior to get the
necessary stat bonuses. This is a battle that won't go so low on HP like the
others, so you better watch yourself at all times when you get attacked.
Ixion's physical attack is pretty decent, his "Thundara" spell won't startle
you too much, but watch it anyway, his "Aerospark" attack will not be a move
that you like very much since it takes off 62.5% of one of your girl's current
HP, his "Recharge" is just plain sick since it actually recovers both his HP &
MP, and finally "Thor's Hammer" will really shock you even after you break his
Magic Attack down (after some many frustrating attempts!). On top of all that,
his evasion is not really bad at all which will frustrate you big time,
especially when you try to break down his stats! So after you become Warriors,
have your girls use "Magic Break" to break down his Magic Attack, and you'll
notice that Ixion might evade your attack, or it will connect, but not break
his Magic Attack! No, he's not immune, just keep using that move on him and
you'll eventually connect with it, and break his Magic Attack down after many
attempts. Make sure you also use Lunar Curtains to guard against his magic
based attacks while you are attempting to break down his defense. You'll fall
very low on HP many times or even get KO'ed, but just use Hi-Potions or Phoenix
Downs to get yourself back up. Breaking down his Magic Attack, Physical Attack,
and Physical Defense won't be easy at all, but just keep trying and make sure
you break him down in the order I specified just now. You might not be able to
break down all three stats 10 levels, but do one at a time, and if you run out
of MP, make sure first that his Magic Attack is down 10 levels, if not, use an
Ether, and attempt again to break him down! Just keep at him at your defense,
and offense, and he'll go down after a good fight!

*Yuna to Level 21!*
*Rikku to Level 22!*
*Paine to Level 22!*

After you take down Ixion (although you think he's down...), you see another
huge hole that you've been seeing in all the other temples. That's when Ixion
comes back at you from behind to surprise you, and Yuna falls into the hole
that's in the Chamber of Fayth. Rikku and Paine call out for her, but don't get
an answer. While Yuna's falling, you'll hear someone taking to her, but you
don't really know who it is. When Yuna finally falls into the Farplane, you'll
see a FMV of Yuna waking up with the Songstress dressphere, and someone with
that identical look to Tidus approaching Yuna, and feeling relieved that he
finally found "her". He calls himself Shuyin, and calls Yuna his long lost love
Lenne, Yuna denies herself as Lenne, but Shuyin keeps going about his feelings
for her, and how he feels about Spira with his plans as well. Shuyin hugs Yuna,
but Yuna feels an attraction to him that isn't hers, but like someone else's
feelings are in her for a while. After that, Yuna snaps out of it, and she sees
Baralai walk into the depths of the Farplane along with Nooj & Gippal giving
her 2 Crimson Spheres to give to Paine, and then watches them go after Baralai.
Yuna's now all alone in the Farplane, and then she starts to get infuriated
about all the things that have been happening as of late, but STILL shows too
much softness, and shows that that's just not her. Then she starts to yells out
loud and say that she's all alone... (alright, now this is up to you whether
you want to push X (or O) to hear Tidus's Whistle). Then, Yuna now wakes up in
the Bevelle Underground were you fought Bahamut, and answers a call from the
Gullwings. She's say's "Yuna here!" in a very cheerful way after supposedly
being infuriated (Now I know that if this was Tifa or Rinoa, they would said
something along the lines of "It's about time!", but this is Yuna, and this
really says something about this girl's personality and development).

Very short chapter indeed with only one boss battle included, so anyway, Yuna
gets back onboard the Celsius, and comes into the bridge with a somewhat shy,
and happy look on her face. Brother is relieved to find out that Yuna's ok, as
well as the rest of the Gullwings. Yuna explains now what happened when see
fell inside the hole, and this somewhat confuses the Gullwings with them not
knowing what to do about that. Then, Yuna goes outside and sees Paine on the
deck, who tells Yuna about her history with Nooj, Baralai, and Gippal. After
a long talk about those times, Rikku comes in, and Paine refuses to tell her
about what happened... and so on. Make sure though, that you don't forget to go
to the Engine Room and get the treasure chests again for this chapter.

Note: This Chapter is more about talking, and finding out the plot of the story
as well, so I might brief things out there.

What you do now is check out the Commspheres to see what's going on in Spira at
the moment. Make sure you only go to the ones that you need to go to (you
shouldn't have many Commspheres out there). After that, you will need to go get
Tobil so you can go promote your concert. You will need to go to the Moonflow
to be able to talk to him, so go (since you have no choice), but Buddy will
drop you off at the wrong part, so you have to walk around to get him. Make
sure you don't win any random encounters, nor obtain Exp. from them, but you
are welcome to gain all the AP you need there as well as Gil. When you're
looking for Tobli, you'll see that there are also some bandits looking for him
as well so they can collect what Tobli owes them. You'll be chasing Tobil
around for a while, and it's pretty much anything goes when this happens.
Later, a few bandits start to get tired of going after him and give up, but a
couple of bandits still go after him. You even end up riding a shopuff to get
to the other side of the Moonflow, and this chase will end when a huge shopuff
gets in the middle of the road, and causes the bandits to give up. Once you
reach Tobil, you tell him that you want to promote a concert, and he willingly
approves this. Tobil decides to have it at the Thunder Plains (Yeah! That's
very smart! a place that's loaded with fiends and lightning... I wonder why he
didn't decide to have it in the Calm Lands where it looks like you can hold
more people and is much safer. Figures, you just gotta love these RPGs :D),
and brings out an advertising army of hypellos to promote Yuna's concert. Yup,
Brother's orders "Bring back every last hypello". Mission Complete!

When you get back on the Celsius, you'll see the hypellos take off, and you
can check on the Commspheres again, but if you don't need to, you don't have
to. Now, you are to head to the Cabin, for your rehearsal for the concert, and
Rikku will be waiting for you also wearing a Songstress dressphere. This is
another mini-game, but I'll tell you how to get some easy points for this game.
Once you begin, just repeatedly press Square, Triangle, O, and X simultaneously
and you'll get easy points, in which you'll get a "Shmooth Shailing" which you
are to sell, but you can also purposely get less points to get another
accessory that you can sell for more. When you get done with your little
rehearsal, head back to the Bridge, and you'll hear that the Thunder Plains
themselves need a clean-up! A monster that came from beneath the earth (or
Spira as they like to call their world) has come into the Thunder Plains, and
is now hiding in a cave. So, it's now time to clean this place up! (See! I told
you that this place won't be such a good idea! Then again, the FMV there was
great, so I'm not complaining). When your in the Thunder Plains, move forward
while looking to the left to find the cave of the Zalamander (you could just
also look at the map like a smart person). When you now get into the cave, you
can go outside now and get regenerated by the hypello there, and while in the
cave, you'll encounter some "Rojo Flans" (Where do these people come up with
these names? A "Flan" is a mexican dessert dish, which is quite good I may add,
but I guess these creators got tired of the old use of jelly, cream and so
fourth). Anyway, make sure you steal AT LEAST 9 Fire Gems! You'll need them
later, trust me :), they are an uncommon steal, but do it anyway, you've got
all the time in the world for this. After you successfully get 9 or more Fire
Gems, you can now get any treasure chests that you need to get while you are
in the cave. When you get to the end, you'll have your hands full with the
Zalamander:

Name: Zalamander
HP: 12850
MP: 276
Exp: 1200
Gil: 930
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Weak at Ice and Immune to Gravity (No effect
when attacked with magic)
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Poison, Confusion, Curse,
Eject, Slow, Stop, ATK Down, DEF Down, MAG ATK Down, MAG DEF Down, Doom

Difficulty: 7/10

Description/Comments: Wow, looks like the Flame Dragon got bigger, or this must
be his parent! This is definitely not a battle that I'd recommend you use a
Brute Force with, you'll be taken out quicker than you can probably say "NALL"!
Well, you can use it, but you must first listen to me for a while so you can
make this easier on yourself. Once you get the first parts on this battle, the
rest will not be too hard, so just heed for a while, and you'll be fine! In
fact, I almost gave up when I fought this battle after dying or so, till that
is, I found out what to do.

Strategy: This looks to be a hard battle indeed, the Zalamander really doesn't
like to go easy on you. His physical attacks are to die for, his "Tail Smash
can really knock you off course, and his "Flame Breath" will not be so nice,
and can really damage you. So, why then am I having you throw in a Songstress,
a Thief, and a Dark Kight? You might understand Dark Knight, but why the other
two? Nope, this isn't another "TEAT" because you're not all thieves, and the
Zalamander doesn't let something like that happen to it anyway. Anyway, look at
the immunities, and tell me what you do NOT see there... the answer is...
"Darkness" and "Berserk". So right when you get into battle, have Yuna use
"Darkness Dance" to blind the Zalamander so that it won't be able to attack you
so easily (it's your turn now to be the ones that are hard to physically hit!).
Now, have Rikku use "Soul Swipe" to inflict Berserk on the Zalamander, so that
the Zalamander will only be able to physically attack you, and not be able to
use his other moves! After he's Berserked and blinded, just keep on using
"Darkness Dance" with Yuna, and have Rikku and Paine just attack how ever you'd
like them to, but if you do get hit somehow, just use a Hi-Potion to recover
from it. Just don't do an idiotic thing like having Yuna use the recovery item,
or using "Darkness" with Paine to consume more of her HP. Just keep this
strategy up, and you'll have this battle in the bag! Victory well won!

After you defeat the Zalamander, you can now get out of the cave, and get ready

sure you talk to Shinra to see the arguments that both the Youth League and
New Yevon are having. Then, when you get to see Tobli in the room, you can now
get on with the show, and enjoy this wonderful FMV that you've probably seen
various times! After the "1000 Words" video, Yuna will be in the Cabin crying
because of the feelings she was feeling while she was singing. Then, you can
now head about to the Celsius, and talk to Maechen. After his rumbling about
the history of Spira's past (you could Skip Scene if you want), go talk to
Shinra, who's got a a reading on a Commsphere he dropped in one of the holes.
Leblanc will now come in the scene, and hit the machine with her fan, and make
it work! When it works now, you'll see Gippal & Nooj in there talking, and
then it cuts off right when Nooj is about to talk about Lelbanc. Then, this is
when the Gullwings decide to actually do something about Shuyin, and then you
are done with the Chapter!

When you are in the Celsius, go again aback to the Engine Room to collect the

re-stock up on some Hi-Potions as well as seeing your accessories. Now, go back
to the Bridge, and talk to Brother do you can choose one of the holes you want

all lead you the same way, but I choose Bevelle because it seemed to be the
easiest of the 4. Yes you are sure, so now you'll see the last cheer of the
Gullwings together, and you'll notice that Shinra says this is the last mission
of the Gullwings, but only for him (See the "FFX-2 CONNECTION THEORY" for more
information on that part). So, when you jump into the hole, you'll be on the
Road to the Farplane. Just keep going forward, and don't mess with any of the
random encounters like you usually do in this challenge, and that's when you

I supposed to deal with this? ...Hey! Remember those Fire Gems I told you to

Right when the battle begins, have all your girls use Fire Gems which will be 6
hits of the spell "Firaga" per use! This will be about 1800 HP of damage you
will do per turn, and multiply this by 9, and you'll get (For those of you
impaired on the field of math, 1800 x 9 = 16200!) 16200! Good job! This is more

Strategy: The Magus Sisters are not three sisters that you would want to hang
around with at a party! Besides Sandy and Cindy's regular attacks, Sandy has
her "Razzia" move that will be decent, and Cindy will have a huge load of
support and recovery magic consisting of "Not-So-Mighty Guard", "Regen",
"Absorb" and "White Highwind" to just be plain sick! Now, last but not least,
Mindy will have her "Passado" attack which will hit you 15 times, and put you
near death! She also hits you with a wild variety of "Firaga","Blizzaga",
"Thundaga", and "Wateraga". If that's not all, their "Dual Tech" or all
together attack, which is called "Delta Attack", will take every girl down to
1 HP! Now how am I supposed to deal with something like this, and do I have yet
another trick up my sleeve? The answer is... Yes! Come into battle with all
Samarais, and throw about 33,333 Gil with each girl, but make sure you do this
with each girl, and don't just throw all 100,000 Gil with one girl because this
won't do the trick! Make sure you throw all your Gil directly towards Mindy!
This will take her down, and you won't have to worry about "Passado", her magic
bothering you, and even "Delta Attack" which requires all three sisters to
work. You can now cross back to Dark Knight passing two extra +15 Defense
boarders:

Now, you are left with fighting Cindy & Sandy, so fight them using your
classic "Defensive Recovering Brute Force" by using Hi-Potions when you are
down, and using the move "Darkness" when you are on the offense. This will be
a pretty long battle, but not as long as the one coming up. Just keep at it,
and the three sisters should be taken down!

*Yuna to Level 28!*
*Rikku to Level 29!*
*Paine to Level 29!*

The Magus Sisters are now taken down! This is was arguably the hardest battle
in the regular storyline, so good job! Now, go back to your Save sphere, Save,
and go back to the airship! Make sure you head to the Cabin, and re-stock up
on supplies, and make sure you get all the Hi-Potions you can get! Because you
are going to really need them! After that, go back to the Road of the Farplane,
and continue through where you were at. Then, that's where you fight your last
battle with the Dark Aeons! Get ready, here comes Anima:

Name: Anima
HP: 36000
MP: 9999
Exp: 6000
Gil: 2000
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Half damage against Fire, Ice, Lightning, and
Water, Weak against Holy, and Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, ATK Down, DEF Down, MAG ATK Down,
MAG DEF Down, Doom

Difficulty: 8.5/10

Description/Comments: Anima's back, and here you go again with trying to deal
with this life suffering aeon, like he didn't have enough back two years ago.
This will indeed be the last Dark Aeon you will fight in this challenge, and
this battle won't be the quickest thing you've ever done, so more sure that you
have all the vigor in the world in this fight, and keep at him no matter what
happens! This will definitely be a frustrating long battle!

Strategy: Right at the beginning of battle, make sure you cross all the
boarders of the Downtrodder back to Dark Knight. This will double your HP which
will make it easier for you to survive its attacks in the long way through. I
know you've got Gravitystrike, but you won't be physically attacking anyway,
you'll be using the move "Darkness" instead. Once you cross the boarders and
double your HP, go to your usual "Defensive Recovering Brute Force" where you
will use Hi-Potions when you are down, and use "Darkness" when you are on the
offense, and you'll also be using a series of Remedies while your at it as
well. Anima's physical attack is pretty decent with an added Poison effect, his
"Pain" attack will frustrate you with its Silence, Poison, Itchy, and moving
stats down 1 level effect, and "Oblivion" will launch out a total of 16 attacks
on your girls. Make sure your Dark Knight is maxed out in terms of its
immunities, and you'll be just fine. As this battle progresses, it may seem
like your getting weaker due to your stats repeatedly being knocked down
levels, but just keep on going, and do not get fatigued! It would also help to
use a Lunar Curtain to help against the damage, but keep this up for a long
period of time, and Anima should go down!

When the last of the Dark Aeons go down, A Fayth will appear and explain to you
what happened. After you tell him that you can handle it, they will leave it
all on your hands, and that's when you move on to the Farplane Abyss.

*******************************************************************************

When you get to the Farplane Abyss, you'll see Leblanc, Logos & Ormi already
there (I wonder how they made it, then again, they are great at fighting, which
I know from experience). After you talk to them, Leblanc will be able to sell
to you some items, and you can re-stock up on some Hi-Potions there, or you can
go back to the Celsius if you want. Since you've already made it past the Road
of the Farplane, you can just ask Brother to take that shortcut to the Farplane
Abyss. So, once you move on into the Heart of the Farplane, you'll see that
there are a variety of new fiends that are there, so you can steal or Pilfer
Gil from them. Make sure you get through this area the old fashioned way by
playing the right tunes on the piano, that way you'll avoid the battles between
the Azi Dahakas. As you go through the Farplane, you should stop and Save once
you get to the moving platforms near the end of the area. This area is right
about where you see Gippal laying down, and where he gives Paine a sphere. When
you're here, make sure you get around 50 Mega-Potions by stealing them from the
Abyss Worm, and this will take a while, but keep going because you'll need
them, and use them only when you really need to in the next battles, unless you
seriously get a lot. Once you get all the Mega-Potions you need, you may now
move on to where you'll fight the final battles. Save first though, then when
you move on, you'll see Nooj there staring at Vegnegun, and Baralai, while
being controlled by Shuyin, operating Vegneguin. Nooj has a plan though, which
is involves killing himself, and almost killing Baralai (Ok, even I have to
admit that this plan rather sucks, I mean, why couldn't he come up with a kind
of Brute Force strategy instead that consists of attacking Vegnegun from behind
or so, figures again, RPGs can be so funny at times). Then, the graphics
digitally enhance on Yuna's face when she say's many people's favorite part,
"I don't like your plan, it sucks." Then Yuna goes on giving a speech for about
5 minutes even though it may seem like a half an hour. There's no way of
skipping this, nor even pausing it (unless you glitch your game, or your using
an emulator), but the good thing about this speech is looking at Yuna's
beautiful looking face for so long. After this speech, Yuna comes up with a
plan to take down Vegnegun, and everybody shows up now in the scene. Then,
Vegnegun starts to awaken, and after everybody picks a part to destroy, you
then go after you're part, which is the Tail, and fight it:

Name: Vegnegun's Tail
HP: 34200
MP: 9999
Exp: 5000
Gil: 3000
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, ATK Down, MAG ATK Down, MAG DEF
Down, Doom

Difficulty: 7.5/10

Description/Comments: This is just Vegnegun's Tail, but you still shouldn't
take it too lightly. Also, don't let its first attack threaten you, just keep
you cool, and you should be just fine, and don't forget that Jecht, Braska, and
Auron are shouting instructions at you. While you're taking so long, Jecht
might get on you by saying something about you not even being able to take down
the tail, but don't let him distract you.

Strategy: This battle will take a decent amount of time to complete, but the
good thing is that the tail only has two different attacks. It's first attack,
which it will also use right at the beginning of battle, is called "Noli Me
Tangere", which delivers a fixed damage of 1250 HP on all your girls, and his
other move is a Laser that will take off less than half your current HP. That's
all the tail will do, good thing is that it uses "Noli Me Tangere" very
uncommonly, but make sure you keep your HP at least above 1250 during this
battle because you'll never know when it uses this move again. At the beginning
of battle, double your HP by crossing at the boarders of the Downtrodder back
to Dark Knight. You'll probably have already suffered 1250 HP, so just use a
Mega-Potion to bring yourself back up to your feet. Then, just repeatedly use
the move "Darkness" which will take around 400-500 HP per use, and use a Hi-
Potion when you're falling below the 1250 limit, that way you won't waste your
Mega-Potions. Just keep using this strategy, and Vegnegun's Tail will fall, and
you'll be Victorious!

*Yuna to Level 31!*
*Rikku to Level 32!*
*Paine to Level 32!*

So, right when the tail's been taken down, Rikku notices Leblanc, Logos & Ormi
struggling with Vegnegun's Arm. Believe it or not, you can go back to the Save
Sphere back in the Heart of the Farplane, and Save your progress. While you're
there, you can also re-stock up on any Mega-Potions you need, and then go back
to the battle field, and take on the arm:

Name: Vegnegun's Arm
HP: 18220
MP: 9999
Exp: 6000
Gil: 3000
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, ATK Down, MAG ATK Down, MAG DEF
Down, Doom

Name: Orb
HP: 300000
MP: 9999
Exp: 8000
Gil: 3000
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, ATK Down, DEF Down, MAG ATK Down,
MAG DEF Down, Doom

Difficulty: 8.5/10

Description/Comments: Now, just looking at the stats of the Orb, you might be
thinking that is will be an extremely long battle. Thing is, you're NOT
required to take down the Orb, it's just there to distract you, and not even
"Darkness" can hit it. This is a though battle though nonetheless, you'll have
to deal with two targets the entire battle, this is the second hardest of the
battles you fight at the end.

Strategy: You're really going to have your hands full in this battle, but just
follow what I say, and you'll be just fine. First off, double your HP at the
beginning of battle by ways of the Downtrodder, and then make sure you
immediately use a Star Curtain (you should still have 1 or more left) to make
things easier on you. With all of your girls on reflect, you'll not have to
worry about a huge majority of spells that will be targeted towards you by all
three Orbs and Vengegun's Arm. When you do this, just continuously use the move
"Darkness" as well as using Mega or Hi-Potions when you're down. The Arm's one
move that you should watch for is called "Vita Brevis", which takes off a huge
amount of HP to all your girls (about 1500 or so), so try to keep your HP
aat least around 2000 or more half way in the battle. This won't be as long as
the tail battle, but you'll have to watch yourself more. Just keep up this
strategy, and you'll be able to take Vegnegun's Arm down.

(This is the last time you'll gain levels in this challenge!)

After you take down the Arm, you'll have to head towards the Torso to help out
Gippal and Nooj. First though, go back again and Save your game, and also re-
stock up on "many" Mega-Potions, you'll really need them this time! Once you do
all that, go back to the battle field, and fight the last three battles to end
this one and for all... Good Luck!:

Description/Comments: Here we go! The first of the three straight battles
you'll have to fight, and also the easiest. If you just take the right
strategy against all three, it should be as hard as it may seem. This will take
quite a while, but you'll take it down if you keep on pressing on. You really
shouldn't sweat this battle like you've done the others, but watch out just in

Strategy: At the beginning of battle, have all your girls double their HP like
you usually do now, and now repeatedly use the move "Darkness". After about 5
or 6 times you've used this move, both the right and the left arm should be
taken down temporarily. The Torso will Revive one Arm at a time, but keep using
"Darkness" to knock out that Arm that was just Revived. This will only keep the
Core busy Reviving its Arms, and won't have a Chance to use its "Memento Mori"
attack since it needs to charge first. All that will bother you while you fight
this battle is "Hostile activity detected" by the Left Arm which won't really
hurt you very much, and your HP consumed by using "Darkness" will also bother
you for a while. Just keep at your pace of using recovery items along with
using the move "Darkness", and the Torso should fall down without much
hesitation. Victory #1!

Then, right when you think you're finished, Shuyin comes back, and lets out
Vegnegun's huge cannon, and you'll have to fight what I'll call the Head of
Vegnegun!:

Description/Comments: Here we go this time! This is one of the hardest battles
in this challenge, so make sure you watch yourself, and don't make any stupid
mistakes. The Head actually does something this time, and you're really not
going to like what it does either. Not only that, you'll really be overwhelmed
with three targets attacking you at once, which all decent. Good Luck to you,

Strategy: This is an extremely hard version of what you've fought much earlier,
so you can treat this battle the same way, but much more careful! Right at the
beginning of battle, get all three girls' HP doubled! This is a must! Then,
make sure use items like a Lunar Curtain, Chocobo Wing, etc. Then
repeatedly use the move "Darkness" again so that you can be able to take down
the Arms quickly, but this time, the Head Revives BOTH Arms at the same time!
Keep your HP above 2000 because the Head will use a move called "Nemo Ante
Mortem Beatus" and this will take almost about 2000 HP on all your girls, and
the head also uses moves like "Odi Et Amo" and "Mors Certa". "Mors Certa" will
not really be as annoying as you might thin it will be, it just damages you
very low and causes Poison, Darkness, and Silence, and since you're use the
move "Darkness" with your Dark Knights, you won't have to worry about any of
those! "Odi Et Amo" will attack all your girls about 16 times randomly, but
won't take much as you might think. So, all you pretty much have to worry about
is "Nemo Ante Mortem Beatus", so keep your HP up, and use all the Mega-Potions
that you need to use (but don't try to use them all). Just constantly keep this
strategy up, and after a while, The Head should fall along with the Arms!
Victory well fought!

After that, YRP look for Shyyin that's just standing there by the head, and so
Yuna puts on the Songstress dressphere so that she can calm Shuyin down once
and for all. Shuyin, still thinking she's Lenne, goes up to her, and out of
Baralai, wanting to fade together with her. Once her gets close enough, he
realizes that it's not Lenne (He must've realized that his girlfriend isn't
that pretty :D). So, this backfires, and you'll have to fight Shuyin:

Name: Shuyin
HP: 23850
MP: 210
Exp: N/A
Gil: N/A
Elemental Weaknesses/Immunities: Immune to Gravity
Status Immunities: KO, Petrification, Sleep, Silence, Darkness, Poison,
Confusion, Berserk, Curse, Eject, Slow, Stop, ATK Down, DEF Down, MAG ATK Down,
MAG DEF Down, Doom

Difficulty: 8.5/10

Description/Comments: This is it! The final battle of this challenge! One thing
you better not do is underestimate Shuyin! you might have destroyed Shuyin many
times in the past, but now he's much harder than you've ever fought him! Keep
in mind that your resources might be purged out, but you should still have a
good number of Mega-Potions and Hi-Potions. Heh, This battle believe it or not
reminded me of fighting Trema, but just a little easier, Good Luck and may you
beat this challenge!

Strategy: Double your HP (again) at the beginning of battle, so that you can be
able to survive Shuyin's "Terror of Zanarkand". This move will deliver about
3000 HP overall, so make sure you survive this and not have to worry about
using a Phoenix Down to Revive one of your girls. Next, he'll use "Hit & Run"
against you, which is 6 hits against all, two, or one target. Then, he'll use
"Spinning cut", which is a decent amount of damage, and then he'll use "Force
Rain", which attacks all targets for a good amount of damage. The he'll repeat
this sequence, and he'll also just use a regular attack against you in between
these moves. So, just continuously use the move "Darkness" along with
recovering when you need to. Keep doing this, and Shuyin should fall after a
decent amount of time (See, I told you Shuyin's not as easy as you though he
was!).

Victory! and Congratulations!

Yuna will now feel sorry for Shuyin, and Shuyin will say that no one will ever
understand that pain (Ha! I know that's painful indeed, but there are worse
things that people have gone through!). Then, Lenne comes out of Yuna while
she's wearing the Songstress dressphere, and calms Shuyin down, and Lenne
thanks Yuna for this, and fades away along with Shuyin... Chapter 5 Complete!

Alright, now I've seen many references from other Final Fantasies in this game,
as well as other games that were either an inspiration, or just a coincidence
I hope :). If you have anymore reverences that you've seen in this game that
come from any other game or see that I've made a mistake, feel free to e-mail
me and I'll see to it that you get full credit for it! Anyway, lets go!

killing the planet! And that makes you King VERMIN!

"King VERMIN", is the enemy you fight in the cave of the Mi'ihen Highroad, and
is also spelled exactly the same way it is said in FFVII.

- Squall and Rinoa's parents knew each other very well in FFVIII, just like
Tidus and Yuna's parents knew each other pretty well in FFX-2.

- One of Yuna's battle quotes comes out to be "Game over man, Game over.",
which is a reference from the movie Aliens.

===============================================================================
>>> **The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)** <<<

- One of the sayings in the WWE during the 'Attitude Era' was "Come get some",
which is also the name a WWE video containing the women of the WWE. One of
Paine's battle quotes is "Come get some", which could be a reference to this
as well.

That's what I have so far; however, if anybody sees anymore references that are
used in FFX-2, please e-mail me... Thank You.

Alright, now it's time to put our weapons aside and start discussing the big
controversy that has been in FFX/FFX-2 and FFVII. Just inquiring, but this FAQ
will indeed contain SPOILERS for FFVII, FFX, and FFX-2. I really hope this
helps with any confusion there is out there about this controversy. In this
section, I will provide statements, information, and any other FAQs needed to
potentially know what the actual status of this controversy is. All the
information in this section of this FAQs is no propaganda, nor am I taking any
sides on this, for it's true information provided without any type of
conjecture. Though in this section as well, if you are curious in any way,
and/or have any type of questions about how this certain connection could come
about even with the help of this information, you can just check out the Q & A
of this section, or e-mail me.

However, you if you not choose to read this material for whatever reason, you
have the right to do so.

===============================================================================

Ok, let me tell you how this controversy first started. It started not TOO long
from now when in the Ultimania Guide, They showed a secret interview with the
writer (Kazushige Nojima) of FFVII, FFX and FFX-2. Then, in this interview, he
said the following:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| Nojima: Inside the game, I try to connect all the scenes and stories |
| together. The name Shinra, that was also in FF7, is it connected? **Yes it |
| IS connected**. For example, “Graduation mission” and “Rin Detective” |
| mission” , Rin says “ we are the same mind”, which it’s a mysterious line |
| from the game. |
| |
| Nojima: Shinra (the kid) quits the Gullwings, Rin gave Shinra a HUGE |
| financial support, he found out by using Venagun, he can pull out lots of |
| MAKO energy from the farplane, BUT he cannot complete this mission by |
| himself. Later generations moved to another planet and created the Shinra |
| (KANJI) company… This occurs 1000 years later. |
| |
| Q: AFTER that, does the story of FF7 occur? |
| |
| Nojima: **Yeah, I guess so. In my mind I have those feelings in me**. If I |
| think about those characters involved in the story, I’m holding those |
| images inside me. Shinra was a good person, but his later generations will |
| be like the “president“. (laughs) |
| |
| Toriyama (FFX/FFX-2 Director): Yeah, that scene LOOKED like the opening |
| movie of Midgar from FF7. |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Notice the ** marks I put in between some of the statements made by Mr. Nojima,
those marks indicate the important information provided my Nojima, which have
also started many believe/disbelieve that FFVII and FFX-2 are connected.
Alright, let me break in down for you:

"Yes it IS connected"

Reading the entire response from Nojima, he just clarified that that the Shinra
from FFVII, and the Shinra from FFX-2 ARE indeed connected. Along with his
statements about the how he likes to connect all the scenes and stories
together.

"Yeah, I guess so. In my mind I have those feelings in me"

Now, this was another question that was asked having to do with the same
subject. Nojima here, responds with a statement in the beginning that indicates
that this is how he personality feels. Meaning that he's not confirming this
connection 100%, and I'll get into more information about the legal
confirmation a bit later on.

Listen up, for those of you who don't know what he means when he talks about
the "Graduation mission", they are exclusive on the other versions of FFX-2
such as the International + Last Mission (See other FAQs on the changes between
the different versions). Well, if you're wondering where a lot of that hidden
information that might show that FFX-2 and FFVII might be connected, below are
some lines from FFX-2 that might be interesting when thinking about this
theory:

AFTER VISITING THE FARPLANE IN CH5, ABOARD THE AIRSHIP
------------------------------------------------------

Shinra: Aha...

Yuna: What are you looking at?

Shinra: Farplane data.

Shinra: The more I study it, the more fascinating it gets. There's limitless
energy swirling around in there.

Yuna: Limitless Energy?

Shinra: **The life force that flows through our planet..I think.**

Shinra: **With a little work, we could probably extract the energy in a
useable form.**

Brother: Sweet!

Shinra: Of course, that'd take generations.

Brother: That's no fun!

Buddy: Well, still, it is something worth shooting for.

Yuna: Think how much Spira would change if we ever got it to work!

Yuna: **Maybe one day we could build a city full of light**, one that never
sleeps!

Shinra: No doubt about it.

Yuna: Just imagine!
(gets sad)

Yuna: But I'll never get to see it...will I...

Brother: Shinra!
Don't make Yuna sad!

Shinra: Right. My bad.

BEFORE JUMPING INTO ONE OF THE HOLES THAT THE FAYTH MADE
--------------------------------------------------------

Yuna: At any rate, let's go!

Shinra: The Gullwings' last mission.
Let's do it.

Buddy: Hey, hey, hey, none of this "last mission" business, you hear?

Shinra: **For me...it probably will be.**

IF YOU BLAME RIN IN THE MI'IHEN HIGHROAD MYSTERY
------------------------------------------------

Rin: This chocobo was being employed to power a ferryboat, so I purchased him.

Yuna: What did you find out about the machina incidents?

Rin: I have deduced that both the hover incident and the malfunctioning machina
drones were accidents.

Paine: And what caused these "accidents"?

Rin: I am trying to clear that matter up.
I asked my assistants to inspect our machina some time ago.

Yuna: An inspection? I heard that it was an experiment, to synchronize the
machina.

Rikku: Yeah, I heard that, too.

Rin: Yes...while performing maintenance to keep the machina under control,
**we also experimented with upgrading them.**

Rikku: But you still couldn't control them!

Yuna: How about this: The modified machina that went haywire might have been
what attacked the hover.

Yuna: What's more, synchronized always act in unison.

Yuna: One malfunction could have triggered a similar effect in all the
Highroad's machina.

Yuna: Something strange happened while we were investigating.

Yuna: Someone cut off our commsphere transmission.

Rin: It broke?

Yuna: No. It was broken.
We could see the culprit throught a separate commsphere.

Yuna: Rin...it was you.

Yuna: That's when I realized: You never intended to catch the culprit.

Yuna: When I think about it, I've seen you on the Highroad a number of times
now.

Yuna: Once before the machina started acting strange. And then again after the
incident was over.

Yuna: But before I could talk to you, you vanished, as if you didn't want to be
seen.

Yuna: When the hover was destroyed, you knew the upgraded machina were
behind it.

Yuna: But then, when you tried to investigate, they all rebelled at once.

Yuna: So, you went around dismantling the rogue machina. Yes, while we were
busy fighting them.

Yuna: Then, you slipped away just as everything was settling down. I am right,
aren't I?

Rin: You are suggesting that my decision to upgrade the machina resulted in a
number of casualties...

Rin: ...and that I tried to cover it up?

Yuna: You put the investigation in our hands because we were amateurs. You
hoped we would botch the case.

Yuna: And then, I kept calling you, even though I didn't have any leads.

Yuna: You would've objected to the meaningless interruptions, if you really
wanted to solve the case.

Rin: I see. It appears I have underestimated you, Yuna.

Rikku: Why, Rin?

Rin: If word got out that machina pose a danger, people would fear them and
stop using them.

Paine: So Yevon's not alone in sweeping things under the rug.

Rin: **I firmily believe that machina are an indispensable part of Spira's
development**

Rin: Even if there is another incident, I intend to conceal the evidence.

Yuna: You really think people will follow you that way?

Rin: **I am not alone in my thinking.**

Rin: **We are researching ways to extract the vast energy that sleeps in
Spira, and use it to power machina.**

Paine: You're a jackass.

Rin: I will take that as a compliment.
(Rin & Yuna Staredown)

Look again that the ** marks I have in between some of the statements, those
again are indicators of where the hidden information is in this part of the
game script. Let me elaborate on what information each of these statements I
pointed out provide you with:

"The life force that flows through our planet..I think. With a little work, we
could probably extract the energy in a useable form.

Maybe one day we could build a city full of light"

Again warning you of FFVII spoilers, this is the exactly what the plot is in
the game FFVII. A very financially powerful corporation known as the Shinra in
FFVII was known for extracting the life force out of the planet, creating a
huge city full of light and energy known as Midgar. What information from here
inquires a connection between FFX-2 and FFVII? As found out earlier in the
interview with Nojima, he just said that the name Shinra that was also from
FFVII indeed was connected, and look who happened to come up with the idea of
extracting the energy out of the planet in FFX-2 (Shinra).

"For me...it probably will be."

As you read in the interview with Nojima, Shinra from FFX-2 quits the Gullwings
and gets huge financial support from Rin, which aids him in his mission to
extract the life force out of the planet. More information on this is given
when playing the international version of FFX-2.

"We also experimented with upgrading them.

I firmily believe that machina are an indispensable part of Spira's
development

I am not alone in my thinking.

We are researching ways to extract the vast energy that sleeps in
Spira, and use it to power machina."

This is the hidden information that shows you that Rin (as spoken of by Nojima
as well in the interview) is also involved with extracting the life force from
the planet. When he says that he's not alone in his thinking, it is revealed
that Shinra is the other person thinking along with him on this.

Alright, that right there is actually about all we've got on the information of
the FFX-2/FFVII connection that is FACT on that side. Right about now I
believe you are probably believing that there is a connection between these
two games, but you have only heard one side of this information that we have. I
will now talk about the information that can not really confirm this connection
as it could be.

Not too long ago from now, we found out that some Square-Enix employees were no
longer working for Square-Enix. Strangely, one of those employees was Kazushige
Nojima! (along with others such as Nobuo Uematsu... he had nice music too) Now,
since Mr. Nojima no longer currently works for Square-Enix, there is really no
way he can FULLY confirm this connection with Square-Enix due to copyrights,
and other credits that were made into this game. Therefore, all of this
information that I have mentioned can't be fully confirmed with Square-Enix.
All the information inquiring that there is a connection is still in both
games, how can they deny the confirmation of this connection? In many of the
games in the entire Final Fantasy series there are reverences, which creators
like to put in there for their own reason. Examples would be the name Cid used
in almost every FF, the names Biggs and Wedge as well, and even some fantasy
created characters that are most likely used in summoning (Shiva, Ifrit, and
Bahamut). Therefore, this information left on this game about the FFX-2/FFVII
connection, could just reverences to each other.

>>>                                  Q & A                                  <<<
===============================================================================

Before reading this Q & A section, keep in mind that some of these questions
come from conjecture from others that ask questions who disbelieve this
connection, or even believe this connection that are just making arguments as
well.

Q: So, the Lifestream (FFVII) is really energy from the Farplane (FFX-2), and
the spheres (FFX-2) turned into materia (FFVII), right?

A: According to the information we have from Nojima, the FFX/FFX-2 world took
place at a different planet than the one from FFVII did. They moved to the
FFVII planet 1000 years after FFX-2 took place.

Q: If FFX-2 and FFVII are connected, how could they be in the same world? The
planet was called Spira in FFX/FFX-2, but the planet was called Earth in FFVII.

A: They are in the same world, but just different planets as you said, the
planet of Spira started to rot due to lack of life force, and so the people of
Spira moved to another planet to continue their research and live a normal
life. Also, the planet being called Earth in FFVII was not originally on the
Japanese version, but was added in.

Q: So what if Nojima no longer works for Square-Enix, it's still his story, and
the only person who needs to confirm it is him, how could there still NOT be a
connection?

A: You know what, you are absolutely right in one context, Nojima confirming a
connection, or even him feeling that they are connected can be good enough. See
the "conclusion" of this entire section for a full response to this question.

Q: FFVII, FFX, and FFX-2 are not the only games were Nojima did the scenario,
He also did the scenario for FFVIII, and if he likes to connect all his games,
why isn't FFVIII connected with these?

A: True that he didn't mention FFVIII in his interview, but since FFX and FFX-2
were, for a FACT, connected he wanted to include FFVII in this connection for
its fame in the series, he might've brought FFVIII into this soon, but he just
no longer works for Square-Enix anymore.

In conclusion, with all the true information gathered together form all
possible sources, it is truthfully up to you to believe weather there is a
connection to these two games or not. Even with confirmation of the writer
Kuzishige Nojima in the interview, he really doesn't hold as much power to this
story as he would normally if he worked for Square-Enix. Then again, to all of
you who believe this connection, he did say that it was connected, and that he
felt that way also. Alright then, if you have any questions, comments, concerns
or just want to talk more about this controversy, e-mail me or AIM/YIM me (see
Credits & Other Info for more details).

Alright everyone! I hope this guide helped you take on this challenge, and was
able to make it fun as well!

Many Thanks to:

     - Square (now Square-Enix) for making such an excellent game despite all
the bashing it gets, and also for its many titles it has released as
        well.

     - Game Arts/Working Designs for making the game that started it all for
me! Lunar: The Silver Star. Which inspired me to come up with the name
        of this challenge as well.

     - GameFAQs, for letting me contribute this Guide

     - Split Infinity for his FAQs being a great source of information, and
saving a large amount of time trying to get exact figures.

     - WalkThruWalls for clarifying the benefits of either giving the sphere
to New Yevon, or the Youth League. As well as inquiring an extra FFX-2
        reference.

     - KADFC for pointing out more hints on what I should limit, and
TwilightAngel7 for showing me how the Samarai dressphere could be too
much of a great asset, and I answered his question in my "Q & A"
        section of this guide.

     - Paltheos for some motivation for this challenge, and for proofreading
my unreleased FAQ. A Terra fanboy, but you could just overpower your
characters so well, and that just makes FFVI all the more great! Raggy,
I'll take Celes and do what you did Terra... besides, when you can't
use morph, what do you have stronger? Or how does Morph help when
        you've reach your limits already :). </to be continued>

     - "http://www.willamette.edu/~ejohnson/findex.htm"- the website where I
got the FFVII/FFX-2 evidence and information.

     - RavinCasper and Shantak for more FFVII/(FFX/FFX-2) connection
statements, and Snuhppy for refreshing my memory on a certain part of
the Prequel Story (FFX), which I used in my unreleased FAQ.

     - jlh28532 and SullenHobo adding in extra references to both the FF
        series, as well as others.

     - Kirsty Eley for pointing out a mistake I made with Zantetsu and
        Shin-Zantetsu.

     - Neil Strauss for writing the book called "The Game", which began the
        best change of my life!

     - Love Systems and various members of the "community" who gave words of
advise I'll never forget! Also, for the man responsible for my
        transformation to "SteamRoller"; BradP!

     - Finally! Most important of all!! God!! For blessing me with so
many great things in life, for what I have now, and for what has
gotten me where I am today!!! All the time...
