    It is the year 2003.
    
    In response to the growing use of sophisticated digital encryption to conceal
    potential threats to the national security of the United States, the NSA
    (National Security Agency) has ushered forth a new dawn of intelligence-
    gathering techniques. This top-secret initiative, dubbed Third Echelon, marks
    a return to classical methods of espionage, enhanced with leading-edge
    surveillance and combat technology for the aggressive collection of stored
    data in hostile territories. When intelligence deemed critical to national
    security cannot be obtained by traditional means, Third Echelon is granted
    clearance to conduct physical operations.
    
    Denied to exist by the U.S. government, Third Echelon deploys units known as
    Splinter Cells: elite intelligence-gathering forces consisting of a lone field
    operative supported by a remote team. Like a sliver of glass, a Splinter Cell 
    is small, sharp, and nearly invisible.
    
    March 10, 2004: The CIA contacted NSA officials regarding the loss of contact 
    with Agent Alison Madison, a CIA operative monitoring widespread communication
    shortages plaguing the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. A second operative,
    Agent Blaustein, was inserted into the Georgian capital T'bilisi to locate
    Agent Madison, only to drop from contact seven days later. Fearing for the
    lives of American agents compromised at the hands of a suspected terrorist
    effort, Third Echelon has activated Splinter Cell operative Sam Fisher to
    locate the missing agents and evaluate the situation.
    
    You are Sam Fisher. You must leave no trace on the physical or political map.
    
    Remember: Although killing may compromise secrecy, the choice between leaving 
    a witness or a corpse is no choice at all. You do not exist.

    |                             About Stealth Action                            |

    Sam's ability to operate covertly is his most valuable asset against 
    overwhelming enemy forces. The visibility meter on Sam's OPSAT is an important
    indicator of Stealth. If it is completely to the left, Sam is invisible to 
    enemy surveillance. If it is completely to the right, Sam is in critical danger
    of being detected and/or intercepted. Remaining under the cover of shadows is
    an important stealth technique, but crouching, moving slowly, and keeping your
    back to the wall also contributes to Sam's invisibility.
    
    A Splinter Cell operative must not only defy enemy eyes, but also enemy ears. 
    
    Consider that while running and jumping are sometimes necessary movements, 
    they also generate sound - a golden invitation for an enemy patrol to 
    investigate your position. Moving slowly while crouching is much more likely to 
    avoid enemy investigation.

    Fisher has been on the front lines of espionage in several defining conflicts 
    throughout the past decades. He has not only survive, but also excelled in the 
    field of covert operations through hard work, insatiable curiosity, and brutal 
    honesty. He has little time for polite niceties and even less for lies. Though 
    fully aware and confident of his abilities, Fisher understands that his 
    survival has often been a gift of chance. He knows he is human and fallible, 
    and he does not want to die. He has a strange and slightly dark sense of 
    humor.
    
    He is quiet, instinctive, and observant: somebody who watches from the outside.
    Combat, espionage, and constant training have defined his adult life; his 
    tactical experience has became part of his instinct. Now, even outside of work,
    he is more comfortable on the fringes of society, keenly observant but still
    removed.
    
    Fisher has acquired an admirable collection of scars and secured his place in 
    Valhalla; he has little left to prove to the world. Now older and wiser, he has 
    no interest in glory. If he fights, it is because he believes the cause is 
    necessary and he is capable.

    |                              2. In-Game Tips                                |
    \=============================================================================/
    - Stealth is your best weapon in SC. You won't stand a chance if you are up
    against multiple enemies, so make sure you hide in the shadows or do whatever
    it takes to get away from enemies. 
    
    - If the main objective of the mission is stealth and you have a limit of 
    alarms, then hide the bodies! If you leave a body in the light, where enemies
    can see them, then you will get caught. However, if the mission is assault,
    don't bother, there will be too many of them and there is no point.
    
    - Can't be bothered hiding bodies in the shadows? Then create your own 
    shadows. Shooting out lights works like moving enemies into the shadows. It
    is also a lot quicker and easier so use it when ever you can. 
    
    - Shooting out lights is also a great way to hide yourself in those tricky 
    rooms. Just shoot out the lights to send the room into darkness, making you
    more or less invisible. 
    
    - If you didn't already know, you can turn your SC-20K into an automatic 
    by simply pressing the L3 button when in aim mode. 
    
    - Crouching is the best way to not be heard. Always be in the crouch mode
    because not only do you run a lot quieter, but it isn't much slower then 
    running normally. 
    
    - Ever noticed that its really hard to aim in sniper mode? Just hold the 
    L1 button and Sam will hold his breath and have perfect aim. However, Sam can't
    hold his breath forever, so be quick because its not long before Sam will need 
    to take a breath and loose aim again. 
    
    - When you are up against dogs, there's no point hiding in the dark because
    dogs can smell you. Instead, just shoot them or hid in the nearest water body
    to loose your smell. 
    
    - A guard won't shoot at you if you are holding one of his friends hostage.
    However, as soon as you take that gun away from their head and start shooting,
    they will start shooting back.
    
    - When disabling a wall mine, make sure that the light is green when you disarm 
    them. If the light is red then the mine will blow up. 
    
    - Throwing cans and bottles is not only a great distraction, but you can also
    knock guards out if it is thrown at their head.
    
    - The rolling move is great for getting through those tricky fire areas without 
    getting caught alight.
    
    - You already know this, but head shots are a one-hit-kill. So always aim at 
    the head to save ammo and bring down an enemy quicker.
    
    - The Camera Jammer is a great way to get around those cameras that can't be
    destroyed. Throwing a flare is also another great way of distracting these
    cameras or a chemical flare for heat sensors. 
    
    - If your not sure what is behind a door, then use the Optic Cable. For all 
    you know, a guard could be behind there and he will spot you straight away.
    
    - You may have noticed that the cross hair gets bigger and smaller. The
    bigger it is, means that the shot will be very inaccurate, however, the smaller
    it is, means that you will be very accurate. To be more accurate, try not to 
    move to much while aiming.
    
    - Lift your legs up on a zip line to make yourself go faster.
    
    - Having trouble sneaking around without making a single noise. This is done
    a lot easier of you get out your gun or binoculars. This way you will walk 
    slow automatically and don't have to worry about making a noise.

    Briefing: Prove that you are the man for the job. 
    
    A Agent Sam Fisher, you have been recruited to spearhead the operational arm
    of the National Security Agency's Third Echelon initiative. Before being sent 
    into the field on a mission to recover Agents Madison and Blaustein, you must
    demonstrate that you possess the skills to undertake dangerous and cover solo
    missions.
    
    Objectives: Complete the assault course and Covert Ops training.
    
    This level is the first level of the game and while you are playing it, you 
    will be given a tutorial about how to perform all the moves and get through the
    course. This level is also optional, but I recommend that you play through it
    anyway. This level is split into two sections. The Assault Course and the
    Cover Ops training.

    When you start, you will hear Lambert talk to you and get you to find the 
    red lights that he is talking about. Using the right anolog stick, look left
    and look for a bright red light. When you find it, look at it for a few 
    seconds and Lambert will get you to look for another light on your right. 
    Once you have found this, Lambert will tell you to work on pitch and find
    a light on the ceiling. This light is far off in the distance and you will
    only just see it. Once you have found this, you will have to find the last, 
    which is on the floor, at the start of the pool thingy. You should be able to 
    find this one easy because it will glare right at you. Anyway, that was the
    easy bit, only there to get you used to look around and not meant to be hard.
    Lambert will now tell you to jump over this wall to get into the assault 
    course. 
    
    You will be able to move around now, so run around and get used to the 
    controls. When you are ready, there is two places you can jump up onto the 
    wall. See those two arrows on the floor, run up to those and you will be at
    the right spot. Jump using the triangle button and hold it to grab onto the 
    wall. Then if you hold the directional buttons, you will be able to move along
    the wall. Move into the middle of the wall and then pull yourself up by 
    pressing the up button. When you are on top of the wall, you will get another
    message from Lambert telling you that he will let you loose on this basic 
    assault course and will contact you when you get to the end. 
    
    Now jump down off the wall and run over to the ladder that leads to the high
    platform. To climb up a ladder, run up to it and press up and you should start
    climbing. Hold up and continue climbing until you get to the top and are 
    standing on the platform up the top. Now if you look around, you should see 
    another yellow arrow on the floor. If you look above this, you should see a
    zip line. Get under this and jump (with the Triangle button and hold it) and 
    you should grab the wire and slide down it. When you are on the platform 
    below, look for another arrow and should see a pipe. Walk up to it and you 
    should climb down the pipe. If you hold down, you will slide down. When on
    the floor, crouch down, with the Circle button, and walk under the wire and 
    pole. When you get to the end, stand upright again (with the circle button 
    again) and run through a narrow path. Here you should see two arrows facing a
    wall. Here, you will be able to try your slit jump. To do this, jump onto a 
    wall, and double jump. Then press the Triangle button a third time and you
    should perform the split jump. When you are ready, continue on and you will
    come to an area with a pole and wire. Run into the wire and jump up and you 
    should grab it. 
    
    Now move forward, and when you come to the small circle opening in the wall, 
    press the circle button and you will bring Sam's feet up and be able to fit 
    through the hole. When you get to the other side, jump down and go right and 
    you should be able to climb over a fence, just walk up to it and hold forward 
    and you should be able to climb up it. When you are on the other side. The next
    challenge is fitting through small spots. Stand on the yellow arrow and have 
    your back to the wall. Now press the L3 button and you should lean up on the 
    wall and be able to fit through the gap. Walk to the end and you will be able 
    to practice looking out of a corner. When you are ready, press the L3 button 
    again and you will get off the wall. Now run up to the pipe and hold forward
    and you will get up on that. Climb to the top and then down the other side.
    Now run up to the wall and Lambert will tell you that you need to get over the
    wall to get to Covert Ops training. See the two arrows on the floor and wall,
    run up to here and then double jump but pressing triangle twice and then you 
    should grab the top of the wall. Pull yourself up and then jump down on 
    the other side. Jump down and then run through the garage door and you will
    pass a checkpoint.

    Run forward and Lambert will brief you. When he is finished, run over to
    the door and open it. To do this you should see an interact menu come up on 
    your screen. Hold down X and move the cursor so that is highlighting the 'open
    door' command. When it is, let go of the X button and the door will open. 
    
    Run into the next room and Lambert will tell you that the next door is locked 
    and you need to use the lock pick. Go up to the door and try and open the door
    like a normal door and a picture of a lock pick will appear on the screen. To 
    pick the lock, slowly rotate the left anolog stick around the outer edge of its 
    range until you see and hear the first pin begin to move and the controller
    will rumble. This means the left anolog stick is on the correct quadrant. Keep
    the left anolog stick in the correct quadrant. Wiggle the left anolog stick
    very gently to release one of the pins in the lock. Repeat this until all the
    pins are released. If you didn't understand this, then I will tell you the
    positions of the pins so you can try and understand this a little better. 
    The first pin is the top left corner, the second is the bottom right corner and
    the third is in the top right corner. Once you have picked the lock, open the 
    door and move into the next room. 
    
    Crouch in here because there is a guard in here. Walk in and Lambert will 
    tell you, you need to get the keypad code off the guard. Slowly walk around 
    the big pillar so that you are behind the guard and slowly creep forward until 
    you get an option on the screen that says 'Grab Character.' Like a door, hold 
    X so that you have highlighted the options and let go and Sam will grab the 
    guard. There should now be another option called 'Interrogate...' Choose this
    and Sam and the guard will have a conversation and the guard will tell you
    the code, which is 28469. When the guard is finished, knock him out by 
    pressing the R1 button. Now run over to the door and look for a small keypad.
    Go over and use it and a keypad screen will appear. Type the code in and go 
    into the next room.
    
    In here, Lambert will tell you that you to get the guard to use the retinal 
    scanner. Make sure you are crouching down and slowly sneak up to the guard
    and grab him. Now walk over to the retinal scanner on the wall and another
    option will become available. Choose to use the scanner and you will put the
    guards face up to the scanner. Once the door is open, knock this guard out 
    (with the R1 button) and then open the other door and move on into the next 
    room. 
    
    In here you will be given your SC Pistol. Your task here is to get past the
    camera. However, you cannot shoot it out or sneak past it. Look on the roof
    and you should see a light. Pull out your gun and shoot out the light, sending
    half the room into darkness. Now creep forward, around the corner and shoot
    out the second light, sending the room into complete darkness. Now turn on
    your night vision goggles by pressing left on the D-pad. Now you will be able
    to run to the end of the room and open the door without having to worry about 
    the camera. 
    
    Now in the next room there is another camera, but this time you can shoot it
    out. Get out your pistol and creep forward until you can see the camera. You
    will be able to know when you have successfully shot out if you see a shower 
    of sparks come from the camera. When this happens, you can run forward into
    the next area. 
    
    In this room, you have to sneak past the camera using existing lighting. You 
    also don't have a gun so you can't shoot out the camera or any lights. You can
    turn your night vision on here, however, I prefer it off because you can see
    where the shadows are easier. Anyway, look at the camera and when it is looking
    in the opposite direction, quickly run across the room into one of the shadows.
    You may want to use the binoculars (pressing R3) to zoom in on the camera to
    see it better. When you are at the other end of the room, open the door
    and proceed into the next room.
    
    In here, you will need to sneak up on the guard and knock him out, then hide
    the body in the shadows. There is two ways to do this. The first is to sneak
    up and knock the guard out and carry the body into the shadows, or you can
    sneak up on the guard and grab him and then walk over to the shadow and knock
    him out there. Once you have the guard, turn on your night vision goggles,
    so that you can see the shadows better. Once you have found the shadowy area,
    dump the body and stay there. You will get a message from Lambert saying that
    another guard is coming in. All you have to do here is stay where you are in
    the shadows and a guard will come into the room and then leave again. Don't do
    nothing to him, because when he leaves the room, you will get another message
    from Lambert and you will be able to move on into the next area. This is not
    the room you need to get to. There will be an open door, where the first guard
    was. Run though that and then open the door into the next room.
    
    This room is a sound test and if you are heard, you fail. First thing you need 
    to do is crouch. Then move in VERY SLOWLY. You should be moving at a speed
    that you are only just pressing the left anolog stick and Sam is tip toeing. 
    When you come to a drop, make sure you are crouching and then drop down. One 
    of the most important things you must realize in this room is that you don't 
    jump or stand up straight. When you come to a ledge that is higher and you need
    to jump up onto, slowly walk forward, even if you aren't going anyway and press
    triangle and Sam should just pull himself up. Do the same for the ledge on your
    right. When you are up the top, crouch again and slowly creep forward into the 
    smoke. In the smoke there is three hidden chains hanging from the roof. Make
    sure that you don't touch any of these because if you do, you will make a 
    sound and fail. Once you are past the chains, the next thing you have to be
    careful of is the glass on the floor. Go extra slow here and once you have
    passed the glass, head for the door, and Lambert will chime in asking if you 
    had started yet. When he has finished talking, go through the door and you
    will pass the training level.

    Briefing: Locate CIA Agents Blaustein and Madison.
    
    Agent Alison Madison worked covertly in the Georgian Political arena for two
    years, securing a role in President Nikoladze's cabinet after his coup O` Etat.
    Special Agent Robert Blaustein was also in Georgia. They both vanished, on
    October 11th.
    
    Objectives:
    - Rendezvous with local NSA informant Thomas Gurgenidze for information on 
      Blaustein's area of operation.
    - Killing civilians will result in Mission Failure
    - Touching the street will result in Mission Failure

    |- You can set off three alarms in this level. Use them well and try not to set|

    |- There is a fair bit of fire on this level. Remember that you can put        |
    |  yourself by rolling.                                                        |

    |  Finding the Contact  |

    When you start the level, Lambert will brief you and while he is doing so, you 
    can run ahead. Run right and up the stairs and if you look above you, you 
    should see a ladder. Jump and you should be able to reach it and pull yourself 
    up. Climb to the top of the ladder and up onto the roof. Turn on your night
    vision goggles and near the back of the roof is a trap door. Go up to it and
    you will be able to open it. Jump down and then crouch so that you can fit. 
    Walk down the little tunnel until you come out. Now look for a pipe here and
    when you find it, you will be able to climb out of the hole you are in. When 
    you are on top of the building, look for a zip line, and when you find it, jump 
    on it and slide down to the building below. When you have landed, go through 
    the door and go left and through the door that is there, to avoid the fire.
    Run to the end of this room and then go through the door at the end to be back
    in the hall. When you are back in the hall, run to the end and go left down the
    stairs. When you get to the bottom go left and you will find a hole in the 
    floor. 
    
    If you look on the roof, you should be able to see a pipe, just above the hole
    in the ground. If you jump you should be able to grab it and climb across the
    gap. When you jump down, on the other side, go left down a hall and you should
    see a door. Go through this and you will be in a big room with one corner
    on fire. On the left side of the room, look for another door and go through 
    that. On the other side, go right and go up to the top of the stairs. Up 
    there, you should be able to find a door that leads into anther room. When you
    enter the room, you should also hear a huge crass. That is the floor giving
    way. The Contact is in this room, however he is injured. You will find him on 
    the floor net to the fire. He is dressed in black and kind of hard to see. 
    When you do find him, talk to him. 
    
    He will tell you that Madison was onto something big and Blaustein found out, 
    and that you need to find Blaustein's black box for his Sub-Dermal to find out 
    where he is. When Gurgenidze dies, run to the door at the back of the room and 
    you should come to a hall with a busted water pipe and some smoke coming from a 
    room. Don't enter the room yet because you will only loose health. Instead, get 
    out your gun and aim at the roof. You need to shoot out the skylight that is 
    there, but sometimes it is a little hard to see so fire a few shots until you 
    hear some glass shattering. Wait a second and then enter the room and then go
    through the door on the right. In here, you will pass a checkpoint and will
    be able to save.

    Go through the door and then follow the balcony, until you get to the end. Here
    look for a pipe that goes across the gap. Jump up onto it and climb across. 
    When you get to the end, you will have to lift Sam's legs up so that you can 
    get past the railing. When you jump down, run into the bushy alley, instead
    of continuing along the balcony. Creep forward and you will hear a guard 
    talking. Congratulations, This is the first enemy you have come across in the 
    game. There is a few ways to kill him. You can pick up the object and throw
    it go get his attention or just sneak from the bushes and kill him with a head 
    shot. Wait a bit and another guard will come out, so kill him as well. When 
    both are dead, go inside and use the computer that is in here and you will get
    one note added to your notes page. Continue on following the rooms and halls
    until you come to the bedroom. In here, go up to the painting on the wall and
    an option 'Slide Open' will appear. Choose this and you will move the painting
    to reveal a computer. 
    
    Use the computer and you will find out that Blaustein is dead and the code for 
    his door. Go over to the door on the opposite side of the room and use the 
    keypad. The code is 091772. Open the door and go to the other end of the 
    balcony and look for a zip line. Once you have found it, jump up onto it and 
    slide onto the roof below. Walk across this roof and run up to the door and
    into the room. Run into the next little room and you will come to an elevator
    shaft. If you look down there, you should see a wire. Aim carefully and jump 
    and grab onto it. You don't want to miss it because otherwise you will fall
    to your death. When you have it, slide down to the bottom and get off the wire.
    You are now on the top of an elevator and need to find the trap on top to get 
    inside. When you find the trap, open it and drop down into the elevator, where
    you can save your game again.

    When you get control again, run to the door that is at the top of the stairs
    and you will have to use the lock pick to open it. When the door is open, run 
    forward but be careful because there is two police officers talking to a 
    civilian. Your best bet is to make a noise (there is a bottle next to the 
    stairs) to lure one of the guards over. Then grab him and use him as a human 
    shield and kill the other guard before knocking out you guard you are holding.
    When both are dead, make sure you hide the bodies in the dark and run past 
    them and you should find an alley. Follow this as it goes up some stairs and 
    you will come to a large courtyard with a fountain in the middle. Run for the
    corner where there is lots of small bushes and you can see a red light. There 
    is a small vent here that you can get through and you will come out at a small
    room with a computer, a medical kit and some 5.72mm ammo for your pistol. Once
    you have used the computer, leave this small room and hide in the bushes. The
    gate is now open and a guard will come out of there. Kill him from the bushes
    and then hide his body in there as well. Now run through the newly open gate 
    and you will come to a checkpoint. 
    
    Now run forward and when you come to some people. One is a civilian and the 
    other is a guard so be careful who you shoot because remember, you can't kill 
    any civilians. However, try and knock him out because he will just run away and 
    attract more guards. Proceed down, killing the other two guards that are in 
    this area. When you get to a path surrounded by plants, go left at the end 
    and run to the end, where the dumpster is. Jump on top of the dumpster and then
    double jump so that you grab the top of the wall. Now pull yourself up and then
    jump down on the other side, and you will pass another save point.

    Run down the stairs and open the door and there will be a guard patrolling the
    cells. Kill him and then shoot out both the lights, instead of hiding the 
    body. Now advance forward and a guard will come from a room around the corner.
    You can lean against the wall and lean out and shoot him, but if you miss, 
    then get him later. Run into the room at the end of the hall and there should
    be a computer. Use this and then turn off the lights. I recommend that you
    turn the lights off in all small rooms because they prove as great places to
    hide bodies. Advance down the hall until you come to the medic area. Go inside
    and you should see a Technician grab him and then interrogate him. He will
    tell you that the two bodies are in the morgue. Find a door at the back of the 
    medic room and this will take you to the morgue. Before you move in there 
    though, make sure that you shoot out the camera that is in there. Once you 
    have done that, run up to the two bodies on the beds in the middle of the room
    and you will have a conversation with Lambert. You now need to go after the 
    surveillance camera. Leave the medic area and continue down the hall, where 
    you haven't been yet. Open the door and you will pass another save point.

    Run up the stairs and open the door at the top. Now be very quite and walk
    forward, into the entrance of the office in front of you. Here, shoot out the
    light on the roof and then turn on your night vision and the guard will come 
    and investigate but won't see you, kill him and then run outside and knock out
    civilian that is running around. Now hide his body in the office where the 
    other guard is. Now run around the room and go behind the glass wall and you 
    should see a set of stairs, go up these and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Now sneak up to the top very slowly and into the next room. In here there is
    two guards sitting down reading. Slowly sneak up to the first and grab him 
    from behind. If you did this properly, then the second guard won't have 
    noticed you yet. Walk back to the top of the stairs and knock the guard you 
    have out. Now sneak back into the room and go for the guard at the back of the 
    room. You should be able to grab him and knock him out with out him hearing 
    you. Don't worry about hiding these bodies and use the computer in the middle
    of the room. Now go through the door at the very end of the room, not the one 
    in the middle. Be very quiet and sneak into the next room and knock the guard
    in there out without him hearing you. Now use the computer in there and you 
    will get a message from Lambert. He will tell you its time for extraction.
    Leave this room and run down the stairs back to the room with the glass wall 
    and the small office. In here look for blue double doors. Open these and a 
    white van will come to pick you up. Congratulations, Mission Complete. You
    have just finished your first mission.

    CIA Agents Blaustein and Madison were killed for getting too close to 
    information Georgian President Kombayn Nikoladze needed to protect. Vyacheslay
    Grinko, a Russian mercenary, is closely tied to Nikoladze's secret; they have
    arranged to meet at the Ministry of Defence.
    
    Objectives:
    - Infiltrate the East Wing of the Georgian Defence Ministry
    - Discover Vyacheslay Grinko's whereabouts by interrogating his driver.
    - Tripping an alarm will result in Mission Failure.

    You are going to have to be very careful in this mission, because you are not
    allowed to set any alarms off. If you set on off, then its mission failure.
    When you start this level, you will be on top of a building. Lambert will
    brief you and tell you, you need to find Grinko's driver. Run to the edge of
    the roof and look for a chimney near the edge on its own. Get in front of it
    (so that you are between the edge of the roof and the chimney) and an option
    will come up 'Rappel on Wall.' Choose this and Sam will Rappel down the wall.
    Walk down the wall and you can press triangle to jump off the wall and get 
    down, quicker. When you come to a window, jump in and crouch down. Slowly make 
    your way to the end of the book shelf and you should see a guard coming. Wait
    until he is in the shadows before shooting him, or knocking him out. You can
    wait a bit because, he will go into the book shelf and look for a book. This 
    is the best time to grab him. When he is dead, get out your pistol and shoot
    out the camera that is above the door. Make sure you do this before moving out
    of the shadows.
    
    When the camera is down, go and use the computer and then go through the door
    and go right. Here you will find another door. Quickly open this and then
    lean against the wall and look out (using the L3 button, remember). You should 
    see a guard coming. Get out your pistol and aim, out from the corner and kill 
    the guard when he stops right in front of you. You must make sure that this is 
    a head shot because if you miss, the far guard will hear you and set the alarm 
    off and you will have to start again. When he is dead, get off the wall and
    slowly move into the room. Don't worry about hiding the body yet and instead
    slowly walk into the room and to the end where the far guard it. You should
    easily be able to knock him out or shoot him, without hear you. You can't
    shoot out the lights out in this room, so you are going to have to hide the 
    bodies. Hide them in a dark corner and then go through the door on your left.
    
    Here, you should be in a stair way. Turn on your night vision and go to up 
    to the top floor and you should be able to find a medical kit. Now start going
    down the stair and be careful because on every second landing, there is a 
    camera, so make sure you aren't spotted and shoot them out. If you listen
    carefully, you will be able to hear the camera because they make a buzzing 
    noise. So when you hear the buzzing, be careful because there is a camera near
    by. When you get to the bottom, you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Now open the door and shoot out the camera that is on the wall, in front of 
    you. You are in the car park now and are very close the Grinko's driver.
    Run forward and when you see a blue car, hid behind it and shoot out the 
    camera that is on the wall. Try not to make to much noise or you will alarm
    Hamlet. If he sees you it doesn't matter because all he will do is run around 
    and duck. However, sometimes he will run over and set the alarm off. It is 
    much easier if you sneak up on him and grab him. The best time is to wait for
    him to go over to the corner and take a piss. You can sneak up on him then and
    grab him. Do not kill him or knock him out because you need him to talk. When 
    you have Hamlet, interrogate him and he will tell you that Grinko is meeting
    Philip Masse in the courtyard. When he is finished, take him over to a dark 
    corner and knock him out. 
    
    Lambert will say that he wants to hear the conversation. Run back out of the
    car park and to the top of the stairs back to the room where the two guards 
    were. In here, go to the end and you should find another door. Once you have
    opened it, get out your pistol and shoot out the camera that is directly above
    the door. You can now enter the room. Run in and use the two computers and
    then look for an open vent on the room. Jump on the desk and then you should
    be able to grab onto the vent and pull yourself up. Here you will pass a 
    save point.

    You will need to turn on your night vision, so that you can see in the ducts.
    Crouch down so that you can fit in the vent and then walk along until you come
    to a grate and can see a chef below. Keep walking and you should come to the 
    end of fall down into a cold area. Crouch down and slowly make your way to 
    the door, where there is some plastic stuff hanging. Stay here and you should
    be able to see the chef. Wait here and a guard should come in and talk to the 
    chef. Keep watching and then the guard leaves and the door shuts, sneak in 
    and knock the chef out. Then go to the door and open it and you should see the
    guard standing, looking the other way. You can either shoot him here or sneak
    up on him and knock him out. Just make sure that you hide the body in the dark 
    cafeteria. Now run past where the guard was and you should come to some stairs.
    You will here some guards ask for a colonel here, but keep going. 
    
    At the bottom of the stairs, you should see a dark area at the top of some 
    more. Here there is two sets of stairs. One on the left and the other on the 
    right. Take the one on the left. When you are in the middle of the stairs, 
    look underneath you and you should see a guard standing there. Get out your 
    pistol and you should be able to take the guard out in one shot. If you don't 
    the alarm will be sounded and you will fail. If you take the guard out in one 
    shot then stay where you are and the other guard will run over to the body and 
    you can kill him then. Otherwise, run back up to the top of the stairs and the 
    other guard will come up to investigate and you can kill him then. When both
    guard are dead, hide their bodies under the stairs, where it is dead. Also
    do not run over to where the chairs and double doors are because you will set
    of an alarm and have to start over. Now go and use the computer that is on the
    middle of the room and Lambert will tell you that a colonel is on his way and
    to make the most of him. Go back and hide under the stairs and a colonel will
    come over and sit down at the computer you just used. Slowly walk up behind 
    him and grab him. Now drag him over to the retinal scanner at the back of the 
    room and make him use it. Now walk him over to the stairs and knock him out 
    over there. He will also drop a satchel so pick that up and you will get a 
    medical kit. Now run to the scanner door and it will open and you will pass
    a checkpoint. 
    
    Now slowly sneak forward and shoot out the camera that is above the door. Now
    go and open the door and run into the courtyard. Here get out your Laser Mic
    and point it over at the elevator on the other side of the courtyard. You will
    know when you are in the right stop when the white square in the middle will 
    go green. Wait a bit and then Grinko and Masse will get in and the green 
    square will go red and you will be able to hear the two talking. The elevator 
    will also be moving up, so make sure to move the mic up with it so that you
    can hear everything they say. 
    
    When they are finished talking, Lambert will tell you that you need to use
    Nikoladze's computer and that alarms aren't at mission critical anymore. You 
    are now allowed to make set off three alarms before its mission failed.
    
    Now run back inside from where you came and there will be a guard coming in so 
    make sure that he doesn't see you. Kill him and then run back into the
    courtyard. There will be another guard patrolling out here so make sure he is 
    dead and hide his body. Now run around the outer edge of the courtyard until 
    you find a fence with vines hanging down it. Jump up onto it and start 
    climbing and you will pass a save point.

    After the cut-scene of the elevator, run left into the shadows, so that you are
    near the door, but on the other side of the hall. Two guards should come out of
    the elevator and go up to this door. When they are trying to open the door, 
    sneak up to them and grab the one on the right and then turn so that you are
    facing the other guard. As long as you have the guard in front of you, the 
    other guard won't shoot until you aim at him. When you do this, be quick and
    aim for his head to kill him in one shot. When the other guard is dead, knock 
    out the guard you are holding and then hide both bodies in the corner. When
    the bodies are hidden, run into the elevator and choose to go up. For some
    reason with all elevators, the door takes ages to shut. Don't worry , just 
    press it once and then wait. 
    
    When the elevator door opens at the top, run out and go left and you should 
    find another door. This door is locked. There is a guard coming around the 
    corner, so if you are very quick at picking a lock then, do that, but I 
    recommend you use the Disposable Pick. When you are in the room turn the light 
    off, by the switch on the wall the door opens at. Run over to the computer on 
    the desk and then jump on the desk and jump into the vent in the roof. Pull 
    yourself up and turn on your night vision. Here follow the vent and you should 
    come out in a hallway. Quickly drop down and hide behind the plant and filling 
    cabinets because there is a camera that will see you. Get out your pistol and 
    look down the end of the hall and you should see a camera. Shoot this out and 
    then run to the other end of the filling cabinets and you should see a door.
    Open it and turn the light off. You should also be able to grab some 5.72mm
    ammo for your pistol and a medical kit. When you have both of these, climb up 
    the ladder and you should come out on the roof of the building.
    
    Out here, run out to the edge of the roof and jump onto the higher part. Here
    look for a chimney that is on its own. You will need to rappel off this down
    the wall. Walk down this wall and don't jump. You should walk down a big glass 
    window and see a guard sit down on a chair. Walk to the bottom of the window
    so that your feet are not on the glass, but below it. Now get out your pistol 
    and you should be able to kill the guard in one hit. When he is dead, climb 
    inside the room and use the computer that is at the desk in the middle of the 
    room. Don't worry about hiding the body of the guard, because there is no 
    point. After Lambert finishes talking to you, you will hear the guards panic
    that there is an intruder in Nikoladze's office. Shoot out the light on the 
    roof, sending the room into darkness. Now find a dark spot and wait for one 
    guard to come and investigate and kill him when he is in the room. Lambert
    will tell you that you need some more information so go and use the computer a 
    second time and Lambert will say its time for extraction. Go through the door
    of the office and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Go left down the hall and then take the door on the left and you should be in 
    a stairway. Run to the bottom and you should be able to find a medical kit.
    Open the door at the bottom and quickly sneak across the platform trying not 
    to make too much noise.  When you are at the bottom, turn around and shoot the
    guard that is coming from behind you. This will attract the other guard, so 
    kill him as well and go around the corner to an elevator shaft.
    
    Here, be careful and jump down and turn around so that you grab onto the edge 
    of the elevator shaft. If you look down below you, you should see that there
    is a rail at every level. What you need to do is drop down and grab onto the
    rail below. Then drop down and grab onto the next rail down. To do this, just
    continually press the triangle button and you will fall and grab onto the rail
    below. Continue doing this until you come out in the car park. Now run over to
    where Grinko's driver was and you will see Wilkes. Go and talk to him and he
    will tell you what's going on.

    Don Griesdale writes: During the stage "Nikoladze's Computer", at the end of 
    the level when you're at the top of the elevator shaft, you don't have to keep 
    hanging your way down the shaft.  There's a pole that you can jump to that runs 
    up and down the elevator shaft.  Basically, you jump to the pole from the 
    opening of the elevator shaft and slide all the way down, it's easy.

    Patrick O'Neill writes: Anyhoos, I noticed that at the start of the section 
    'Nikoladze's Computer' you say to run to the left, hide in the shadows and 
    then confront the guards. When I played it I used a different method, it meant 
    I didn't have to confront the guards a tall. After the elevator cut scene I ran 
    and hid in the room beside the elevator, then used the optic cable to look 
    into the corridor. The two guards come out of the elevator, one turns left and 
    the other right, towards the door that they both eventually end up trying to 
    open. So as soon as the second guard walks past the room you're hiding in, 
    walking towards his buddy, just open the door and walk out, go to the elevator, 
    press the button and enter. Although it means you get to kill less people, I 
    reckon it's more in line with the stealthy nature of the game.

    Briefing: Retrieve Georgian Communication Data.
    
    NATO and U.S. intervention has pushed most of the Georgian Commandos from 
    Azerbaijan, with only a few well-hidden cells remaining. One of those cells,
    entrenched in an Oil Rig on the Caspian Sea, is exchanging data with the 
    Presidential Palace in Georgia via a secure network.
    
    Objectives:
    - Infiltrate the Oil Refinery by the main pipeline.
    - Trail the mercenary technician.

    When you start, wait to hear what Lambert says and then move. Run forward and
    go up the ladder. At the top, go right and walk across three small pipes. When 
    you come to a catwalk, walk across here until your path is blocked off by barb 
    wire. When you get to here, jump up onto the pipe above you and lift Sam's legs
    up so that you can get past the barrier. When you get to the other end, jump 
    off and look on your right. Here you will see a rail. Jump onto here and you
    should be able to grab it. When you do, move across it so that you can get to 
    the other side of the crates. Keep going until you get to the end. Here, you 
    should be at 90 degrees to a red generator thingy. You should be able to move 
    around so that you are on the red thing and can drop down onto the platform. 
    Now crouch and walk under the red thing and you will pass through a checkpoint.
    
    Now get onto the small platform on your right and if you look above you, you
    should see a zip line. Jump up and grab it and slide down. At the bottom, 
    crouch and run under the pipe and you should see a small vertical pipe. You 
    should be able to climb up this and turn around and jump onto the big pipe
    that you crouched under just before. Now run along here and you should find a
    hole so that you can get inside it. When you fall down it, crouch down and 
    walk through the pipe. You may want to turn on your night vision in here.
    Keep walking and you will eventually get to a save point.

    Run forward and climb up the ladder and open the hatch at the top and climb 
    up onto the rig. You will want to turn on your night vision out here so that
    you can see. You should see two ladders leading up, don't take them because 
    you don't need to. Instead, go to the right of the area and look of a rail
    that is on a diagonal. It is at the very end and when you find it, jump onto 
    it so that you are hanging off it. Do not pull yourself up just yet. Move
    left so that you go under the path and out on the other side. When you are
    on the other side, pull yourself up and jump down onto the walkway below you.
    Run up the stairs and then crouch and go up the other set of stair so that you
    aren't heard. When you get to the top, kill the guard there and run past him
    and you will be able to save again.

    When you start up again, you will see some explosions and some men in front of
    you. These are the people you need to follow. When they leave, sneak forward,
    staying in the shadows and when you are close enough to kill the guard by the
    fire in one shot, shoot him. Then run past him and go left at the flames and
    the right at the end here. Now be careful here and look around the corner 
    before you move because otherwise, you stand the chance of running into the
    men you are trailing, meaning you will fail.
    
    When you see the men enter a room, put your back to the wall and look around
    the corner and aim out and kill the guard that is standing by the door. Run
    up to him and take the satchel he dropped and then stay hidden by the door. 
    Here you will hear the guards talking that then they will come back and walk 
    past the door. When they are gone, run into the kitchen where they were, and
    grab the medical kit that is there. Then run back outside and round the corner
    that you haven't been yet and you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Run forward and climb on top of a machine that is there so that you can jump
    up and reach the pipe that is above it. Turn around so that you are facing
    the wall and swing towards it and when you get near, lift Sam's legs up, so 
    that you can fit in the small gap. When you get into the room on the other
    side, you will see the guard shooting the computers in the room and the 
    technician running out. Keep climbing in and when you can see the guard below 
    you lower Sam's lefts but don't jump down. Instead get out your pistol and
    kill the guard from up here. When you jump down, grab the medical kit and the
    5.72mm ammo, before leaving the room and going up the stairs.
    
    Halfway up the stairs, you will see a chopper get blown up, but keep going up 
    the stairs. Wait up the top in the shadows for a guard to walk by and stop
    pretty close to you. You can kill him then. You will also want to kill the
    guard that is on the level above you. Run up there and then pick up the satchel
    the guard dropped and then run down and get the satchel the other guard dropped.
    
    Look for a puddle of oil on the floor and when you find it, run past it to behind
    the building. Follow the path and at the end, go down the stairs and open the
    fence door, and run into the shadows. There is a guard here and you should be
    able to kill him without him seeing you. When he is dead, run over and over
    the door that was previously locked and run into the room.
    
    Be quick in here or you will die in an explosion. Run to the far side and open
    the door and run into the next area before the explosion. When you pass through
    the door, a timer will start for 1:15 seconds until the oil rig is hit by the
    fighter planes. Run left and follow the path and you should come to the 
    technician, crouched down scared. Grab him and interrogate him. If you run low
    on time or finish interrogating him, knock him out and grab to briefcase and
    satchel he drops and you will complete the level Remember, you don't have to 
    hear what the technician has to say so if you are running low on time, knock 
    him out before he finishes.

    Briefing: Track down the mole in the CIA.
    
    Hours after the attack on the oil rig, Georgian President Nikoladze launched 
    a devastating wave of remote, technology-based terrorist attacks as retaliation
    against the U.S. The only lead to Nikoladze's whereabouts is a mole thought to 
    be operating out of the Central Intelligence Agency.
    
    Objectives:
    - Retrieve the SC-20K from the storage room behind the battery generator room.
    - Access the CIA central server to identify and locate the information leak.
    - Any agency fatalities will result in Mission Failure.

    |Level Tips:                                                                   |
    |- Always turn the lights off in small storage/office rooms. These rooms prove |
    |  as an ideal place to hide bodies and take cover.                            |
    |- There is a lot of dark, shadowy corridors in this level. The Night Vision   |
    |  goggles come in very handy. Use them!                                       |
    |- It is a good idea to be crouching the whole level. This way, id you stumble |
    |  on a guard, he won't hear you and sound an alarm.                           |
    |- Until you find a gun, your only way to take out agents is by knocking them  |
    |  out. This means that you need to get close up to them. To best way to do    |
    |  this is to sneak up on them very slowly.                                    |
    |- This is the first level where you get the SC-20K. It is a good idea to get  |
    |  used to all the features and how to use it. This means when you get into a  |
    |  fire fight, you won't have any difficulty with your weapon.                 |

    The first thing that you need to know is that you cannot kill any of the agents
    in the agency. This is why you don't start off with a pistol. You will have to 
    sneak up on enemies and knock them out until you find the SC-20K and will be
    able to use the special ammo for that. Anyway, your main objective at first is
    to find the SC-20K and then go after the information leak. Another important 
    thing to remember is to always be crouching throughout this level. This way, if
    you stumble upon an agent, he won't hear you. 
    
    When you start, crouch down and run around the corner, down the main hall.
    Wait a bit and you should see a maintenance man come from a room on your right
    and go through a door on you left. Sneak up on him and knock him out after he
    opens the door on the left. Hide him in the room and turn the lights out in the
    room. Now run out of the room, and go into the office across the hall. Turn off
    the lights in here and use the computer. There will also be an agent wandering
    around here, and he may come into one of the rooms so be ready to take him out. 
    
    Run out of the room and run to the end of the corridor and go left at the 
    intersection. Run along the hall and go right into the security room. Be quite
    in here and knock out the agent standing in here. There is also a storage 
    room in here, but it is locked, so you will have to use the lock pick to open
    it. When it is open, hide the agent's body in there. You will also be able to
    find a medical kit and two Sticky Shockers in there as well. There is also a 
    computer in the main room that you need to use and you will get another key
    pad combo. Leave this room and run back to the intersection and this time go
    right. 
    
    There is two people down here so be careful. Wait for a maintenance man comes
    out into the hall and follow him into a storage room. Knock him out in here
    and turn out the lights. You will also find a Disposable Pick in here. There 
    is also another agent in one of the rooms that is looking into the server. Kill
    the guard in here and hide his body in the storage room again. He will also 
    drop a satchel so grab that as well. 
    
    Both these rooms were in the left of the hall and if you look on the right, 
    you should find another door with a key pad. Walk up to it and use it and if
    you have found all the right Data Sticks then you will be told the password.
    The code is 7687. 
    
    Open the door and run into the room and hide in the shadows. An agent will come
    in and when he is near you, knock him out and hide the body. Run in the next 
    room and use the computer and then go up and use the door and enter the code in,
    which is 110958. Run into the next room and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    In the next room you need to be VERY quiet or you will be heard and an alarm 
    sounded. Make sure you are crouching and VERY slowly walk across the platform
    and down the stairs. When you get to the bottom, still go slow and sneak around
    the corner and wait for the guard to be looking in the opposite direction. Then 
    sneak up on him and knock him out. If the other agent sees you, quickly run 
    after him and knock him out before he can get to the alarm. This room may take
    a few tries, but if you are lucky, then both meant will be right next to each
    other and you will be able to run up and knock both of them out consecutively.
    
    When both guards are out, run down the hall and up some stairs into the next
    area. Be careful in here, because there is a camera and you won't be able
    to shoot it out just yet. First you need to find the camera, and once you have
    spotted it, keep an eye on where it is. Just at the top of the stairs, you 
    will find the SC-20K. Pick it up and then shoot out the camera. Now you can
    pick up the two Sticky Cameras and Ring Airfoil Round that were next to the 
    SC-20K. Run to the end of the room, where the camera was and you will find a
    door with a key pad. Use the key pad and the code is 2977. Enter this in and
    open the door you will pass a save point.

    gtajett writes: After you enter the code 7687 in the keypad, go into the room 
    and turn off the lights. Then hide on top of the file cabinet that is in the 
    left-hand corner. When the guard comes in, he may turn on the light and he 
    will spot you. If that happens, run away and hide from the guard. Once the 
    guard stops shooting at you, make a run for it and turn the lights off again. 
    The guard won't bother to turn them on again. After you turn off the lights 
    again, just follow the guard until you can knock him out. If he happens to 
    start shooting at you again, just move silently away from the area and he 
    won't notice that you have left.

    When you start up again, slowly creep forward and you will hear someone 
    talking. Sneak up behind him and knock him out and hide body in the shadows.
    Now run forward and follow the corridor and soon Lambert will tell you that
    you are close to the server. When he tells you this, slow down a little and
    stay in the shadows. You will come to an agent here, and you can either sneak
    up on him and knock him out or try out one of your raz-daz new gadgets. Try
    using the Sticky Shockers, or the Ring Airfoil Round and aiming at his head.
    Either way try not to make a sound or attract the other person that is in 
    the area. When he is out, hide the body and run to the back of the room and
    take out the maintenance before he sees you and sounds an alarm. Make sure that
    you hide both bodies. The maintenance guy will drop a satchel with a note 
    inside. Make sure that you get that and use the two computers in the area.
    
    When you are finished in this area, run across the hall and through the
    sliding doors into the bright room with all the cool blue lasers. When you come
    out, you will see two doors with key pad locks. Both have the same code and
    lead into different areas. You can take either one, however, I recommend going
    through the one on the left, because this will lead right into the server 
    room. The code for the door is (2019, I remember that because it is the year 
    of a level off TimeSplitters 2). 
    
    Anyway, go though the door and you will be on a platform in the server room. 
    This room is bright white so there is no where to hide so be careful. There is 
    also a camera on the wall, which you will want to shoot out before jumping
    down to the bottom and using the big computer in the middle of the room. 
    Once you have used it, hide behind the computer, on the other side of the room
    away from the door and closest to the window up top. Wait here while Lambert 
    and Grim talk and an agent will come through the door and wander around the 
    room. He will walk all around the room, so as he moves, move as well so that you
    are still hidden by the computer in the middle of the room. Eventually he will 
    leave the room and you will be able to leave also. To leave, jump onto the gray
    lockers under the window and pull yourself on top of it. Now jump onto the 
    railing and if you double jump, you should be able to grab onto the ledge. 
    Now just move over to where the gap in the railing is and pull yourself up. You 
    will now be able to easily leave by the door you came from. Now run out of the 
    server area and back into the dark hallway.
    
    Back in the hall, run down the area you haven't been yet and you should see a 
    door leading into a toilet. Sneak in here and take out the guard that is 
    taking a piss. Pick up his body and move it outside into the hall and into the 
    shadows, then continue on down the hall. When you come around a corner, you 
    will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Slowly creep forward and keep an eye on the left wall. Make sure that you are 
    in aim mode and when you find a window, creep forward, until you see an agent
    standing in the middle of the small room. When you see him, fire a Sticky 
    Shocker at him (with the L1 button) so that he passes out. Now run up to the
    window and jump onto it and into the small room. Make sure that you do this
    and not go through the front entrance because there is a metal detector there
    and you will set off an alarm.
    
    Jump into this room and grab the satchel the agent dropped and you will get a
    medical kit. Now shoot out the light in this room to hide the body and go round 
    back and down the long hall and open the door at the end.
    
    Now this room can be tricky so be careful. There is two cameras in this room, 
    which can't be shot out and they cover the whole room so it is hard to get past 
    them. From where you entered the room, run to the right side of the room, the
    side with the elevators. Here you should be in enough shadows to not be seen
    by the cameras. If this doesn't work, then try using the pillar and picture 
    boards in the middle of the room to hide from the cameras and get past. When 
    you are on the other side, wait in the shadows and an agent will enter. Shoot
    him with a sticky shocker and then hide the body in the shadows, and run 
    through the door, into the next corridor. Run down here and at the end run down
    a set of stairs. Be careful at the bottom because there is a camera in there
    as well. This one can't be shot out either, so shoot out the light to make the 
    room dark and you will be able to run straight in. Use your night goggles and
    run up to the key pad and use it and enter the code 110700. 
    
    Open the door and walk in and be very quiet and sneak up on the agent that is 
    on the phone. Sneak up on him and knock him out without him hearing you. Shoot
    the light out in here and wait for another agent to come in and take him out as
    well and hide his body in the same room. Now run out and open the door into the
    next room and run behind the automated gun and up to the laptop. Use it and
    deactivate the gun and then run over to the table and use the computer, get 
    the two flares and the other flare that is on the floor. When you have 
    everything, go up to the door behind the automated gun and use the lock picks 
    to open it. When it is open run inside and open the elevator doors. Ge inside
    the elevator, and choose to go up. The elevator will take a while to get to 
    the top, but when it does you will get to a save point.

    |Dougherty's Computer|

    When you start again, run to the end of the hall and open the door. Now you 
    will need to be VERY quiet again as there is three people in the room you
    are now in. 
    
    You are in the shadows, so don't worry about being seen as long as you are
    quiet. Walk up behind the white board that is there and you will be able to
    walk behind the computers and bypass the men. Make sure that you are quick, 
    while not making too much noise. When you get to the end, You may want to be 
    careful of the maintenance guy because there is a chance he will see you and
    alarm the others. When you are in the corridor, go into the room on the right
    and use the computer in the room. 
    
    If you hear one of the agents say 'I'll check this with the media people,' 
    then be very careful because you have an agent inbound your way. Try and be 
    out of the office in time, however, if you cannot get out, turn off the light 
    in the room and when the agent comes in, pounce on him when he is about to 
    turn the light back on.
    
    When you leave the room, run down the hall and into a very dark room. There
    is two computers next to each other, which you can use. You will also find two
    Sticky Cameras, so get them as well. Once you have done that make sure that you
    are in the shadows and can see the door to an office.
    
    Wait for someone to come from the office. This is Dougherty. Wait for him to
    go before going into the office he came from and using the computer in there.
    Wait until Lambert and Grim are finished talking, before leaving the office 
    and heading the way Dougherty went. You will soon pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Advance slowly and you should see a guard sitting down and a camera at the end
    of the hall. This is another tricky spot so be careful. Wait until the camera
    is looking away before trying to advance underneath it. You won't have to worry
    about the guard that is sitting down because he will never look up. Once you
    are behind him, grab him and knock him out. Don't worry about hiding the body.
    
    Now if you look down the next hall, you will see Dougherty at a vending 
    machine. He will stay there until you move forward, but once he starts to move 
    forward sneak up after him and grab him before he gets to the window and room.
    Once you have grabbed him, DO NOT knock him out. Walk past the window, where
    the two agents are and pray to your stars they don't see you. Once you are past
    this window continue going until you get to a door. Here you will need to 
    knock him out. There is an office next to this door, but it is locked, so use
    your lock picks to open it. Go inside and use the computer and you will get the
    password for the door as well as three Sticky Cameras. Leave this room and 
    enter the password and open the door. Pick up Dougherty and walk into the next
    room and the door at the end should open automatically. Walk through and you
    will pass a save point.

    Jarrod Leeth writes: Even though you may have stated in your guide, there is a 
    really easy way to transport Mitchell Dougherty past the guards in the CIA HQ.  
    Knock him out, pick up his body, and then crouch down. You can walk safely 
    under the window and past the open door.  The guards won't even notice. This 
    works every time.

    CJ Williams writes: From what I've heard, the GameCube and PS2 versions of 
    Splinter Cell are almost identical (sans the Nuclear Plant mission) so I 
    thought I might make a small suggestion for the CIA section.  Doughtery CAN be 
    knocked out at the point you suggested, but this actually makes this portion of 
    the mission more difficult than it needs to be. I took an alternate, and much 
    easier path that let me knock him out as he was taking his smoke, and let me 
    avoid all detection, without having to put myself at risk.
    
    First off, in the dark corridor leading to the sitting guard and the camera, 
    do NOT approach the guard. If you use your night vision, you'll notice an 
    unlocked door to your left, which leads to a small briefing room with a 
    projector. The parts of the room you'll be going through are completely dark, 
    so no sweat. Just head down into the briefing room and walk between the small 
    pathway halfway through the lines of seats (if you try walking to the other 
    side of the room near the projector, your image will be projected onto the 
    screen, and you'll be spotted) until you reach the other side of the room. An 
    armed agent will be next to the door here, but he's looking at the 
    presentation, and won't notice you. Knock him out, then lock pick the door he 
    was next to. This will take you to the spot where Doughtery was earlier, and 
    you don't have to deal with that stupid guard or his camera.
    
    Now, we're not done yet. Stay low, and sneak up to the break room while 
    trailing Doughtery. He'll talk with the unarmed agent (this conversation 
    hints at his obsessive compulsive disorder) for awhile, then the agent 
    leaves hastily (dunno if he really DOES need to leave, or if he just 
    doesn't wanna listen to Doughtery, heh) and heads for the men's room. If 
    you stick to the shadows, he should go in without seeing you, don't 
    bother trying to knock him out, or he probably WILL spot you, and alert 
    the armed guard. Once he's gone to relieve himself, continue trailing 
    Doughtery, he should arrive at the keypad locked door, but he'll grab a 
    drink from the nearby fountain before punching in his code. Stay behind 
    the corner until he enters the break room and takes his smoke, NOW is 
    the time to knock him out. Once he's out, simply proceed through the 
    mission as you normally would.  By this area, I made sure I had the 
    following ammo left:2 Airfoil rounds (to take out the CIA guard talking 
    with your ride out) and three sticky shockers (to knock out the 
    three guards you'll be dealing with on the way to the van).

    Pick Dougherty up again and walk outside. Move into the shadows and hide 
    Dougherty's body there. A guard is coming so be ready for him and ready to 
    take him out first chance you get. Hide his body in the shadows and then go 
    and pick Dougherty's body up again and head the way the guard just came from. 
    Walk along the stairway to the door below and go through it and you will pass
    a checkpoint.
    
    Quickly walk down the stairs and drop Dougherty in the shadows next to the
    stairs and shoot out the camera that is in here. Now sneak into the next room
    and shoot the guard in there with a Sticky Shocker, or whatever you have.
    Once the guard is out, run back and get Dougherty and continue on. Go down
    the steps and when you get to the elevator, drop Dougherty on the lift and go 
    down. Now leave Dougherty there and go after the guard that is here. Knock him
    out and then go back for Dougherty. Pick him up and then walk down into the 
    underground car park. 
    
    When you get to the bottom of the ramp, drop Dougherty and slowly creep 
    forward. Remember how Lambert said Wilkes and Baxter were talking to that
    security guard. This is what you have to deal with now. Slowly sneak forward
    and be careful when walking across the glass. When you see the guard, there
    is two ways to get him. Just shoot him with a Sticky Shocker or Ring Airfoil,
    or sneak up behind him and knock him out. 
    
    Either way, when he is out, you will need to go back for Dougherty. Go back and
    get him and bring him over to where the van is. Walk over to between Wilkes and
    Baxter and put Dougherty's body down there and you will finish the level.

    Russian Mercenaries have begun to destroy evidence of Georgian activity at 
    Kalinatek. Before her detection in the network, Grimsdottir discovered that
    a technician named 'Ivan' is hiding in the building. Ivan possesses an 
    encryption key that could help Third Echelon find Nikoladze.
    
    Objectives:
    - Infiltrate Kalinatek.
    - Access Kalinatek's fire emergency system to open the fore doors surrounding
      Ivan.
    - Find Ivan before the Russian Mafiosos kill him.

    |Level Tips:                                                                   |
    |- This is an assault level, which means that you don't have and alarm limit   |
    |  and therefore don't need to hide bodies. Don't waste your time worrying     |
    |  about them.                                                                 |
    |- When using the scope on the SC-20K for the first time, hold the L1 button to|
    |  have Sam hold his breath and you will be able to get a perfect aim. However,|
    |  Sam can't hold his breath forever, so be quick.                             |
    |- To deactivate a wall mine, slowly sneak you on it. Wall mines are movement  |
    |  censored so if you move in front of them, they will go off and blow up. You |
    |  will know when a mine is about to blow up because the steady beeping will   |
    |  change into a very rapid one before going off. When you are up next to the  |
    |  mine, you will get an option to deactivate mine. Before you choose this,    |
    |  make sure that the light on the mine is green. If you choose to deactivate  |
    |  the mine when the light is red, it will blow up. When the light is green,   |
    |  deactivate it and Sam will move in and deactivate it. Once a mine is        |
    |  deactivate it is yours to keep and use again.                               |
    |- There is a lot of fire in this level, so if you catch on fire, quickly roll |
    |  to put yourself out.                                                        |

    After the cut-scene with Wilkes and listening to Lambert, run forward and hide 
    behind the van. Two guards will come out so from behind the van, make a noise
    (easily done by firing a bullet) and a guard will come and investigate. Use
    the scope and you should be able to take him out in one hit. Then look for the
    other guard, and once you have found him, kill him as well. When you are 
    finished, run up to the door and open it and go up the stairs and when you
    get to the top, the power will cut out. 
    
    Open the door and straight away, go left into a little room and crouch down.
    There is two guards in the distance, so from your little bunker, get out your
    SC-20K and zoom in over at the guards and take all three out. You will need 
    your Thermal goggles here so that all you can see is the men and nothing else.
    When all the guards are dead, run forward and check their bodies and one will
    be carrying a satchel. Look for a big 'L6' on the wall and once find it, look
    for the door nearby. 
    
    When you find the door open it and you will be in a small room. Jump up onto 
    the crates and walk towards the window. Look for a crate hanging just outside 
    the window and when you find it, jump out onto it. Now look above you where
    the long crane arm is and go under if and if you jump you should grab onto 
    it and be hanging. Start moving and soon you will pass a save point.

    | The Encryption Key |

    When you start up again, you will slide down the rest of the way until you come
    to another crate at the end. When you land on it, look around for a small area
    with a light and crates. From the crate you are on, you will need to take a 
    leap of faith and jump over onto the ledge. When up here, you will need you 
    night vision to see where a small chimney is. When you have found it, you will
    be able to rappel down from it.
    
    Do this and when you come to a window where there is two guards talking, get 
    out your gun and kill both of them. When they are both dead, walk down to the
    bottom so that you are standing on the glass and wait for a guard to walk under 
    you. Kill him and then jump down into the room below. Make sure you pick up the
    satchel the guard dropped and then run through the double sliding door into the 
    next room. In here you will see a metal detector blocking the way, so go up and
    use the door next to it. The code for it is 97531.

    ~Angel writes: Hey I just want to tell you in the Kalintek building after 
    passing through the keypaded door next to the metal detector, and going past 
    the next one instead of fighting the guard. Mantle on the boxes right of the 
    door you can through an air vent. Until, you reach another room pick up the 
    sticky shocker and cam. Shoot at the light in the fish tank in the room. In a 
    matter of time a guard will come in than as soon as he's on the water shoot 
    the shocker (into the water), or you can just shoot him.

    When the door is unlocked, go inside and open the other door. Walk slowly into 
    the next room because you can easily make a noise and go around so that you can
    see the door. Wait here for a guard to come and when he comes in kill him with
    a head shot. Be quick though because he will go and turn the light on and will
    spot you. When he is dead, go through the door he came out of. Run down to the
    end of the hall and through the door on your right. Use the lock picks to open
    it and go through it and you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Run to the next door and use the lock pick again and when you open this door, 
    turn on your night vision. Go and get the Disposable Pick and Sticky Shocker
    off the table and then go over and open the door. 
    
    Stand in the doorway and look around at the wooden wall (which isn't finished)
    until you find a mine. When you find it, wait until the guard is near it, 
    before using your scope to shoot the mine and set it off. This should kill the
    guard and attract another, who you can kill when he is investigating. Now run
    over to the dead body and pick up a satchel before running around the corner.
    Be careful here because there is a wall mine. You can either shoot it and set
    it off or sneak up on it and deactivate it. 
    
    To deactivate a wall mine, slowly sneak you on it. Wall Mines are movement
    censored so if you move in front of them, they will go off and blow up. You 
    will know when a mine is about to blow up because the steady beeping will 
    change into a very rapid one before going off. When you are up next to the
    mine, you will get an option to deactivate mine. Before you choose this, make 
    sure that the light on the mine is green. If you choose to deactivate the mine
    when the light is red, it will blow up. When the light is green, deactivate it
    and Sam will move in and deactivate it. Once a mine is deactivate it is yours
    to keep and use again.
    
    When the mine is gone, run into the room behind where the mine was and you will
    find a medical kit. Leave this room and turn on your night vision goggles so that
    you can see where the elevator is. The elevator is stuck, so you will have to
    crouch to get in there. Once you are in there, you will be able to save.

    When you start again, crouch so that you can fit out of the elevator. Lambert
    will tell you that there is some technicians trapped by a cluster of wall mines
    and that they may have an encryption key. So you are going to have to go and
    save them. 
    
    When you are in the corridor, slowly move forward and kill the guard that is
    wandering around. Try and do this in one shot not to attract any guards. You 
    should also find a Sticky Camera. If you hear shots being fired, don't worry 
    because they are not being shot at you, a guard is just shooting up some 
    computers. If you go to the vending machines you should see a glass window. 
    Zoom in, into the room and you should see a guard in there. Use the scope of
    the SC-20K to kill him. 
    
    Continue down the hall and when you come to a glass panel on the floor, wait
    there and zoom in down the hall. You should see two guards and one will place
    a mine on a pillar in the middle of the room. Get out the SC-20K and zoom in
    and as soon as you have a clean shot of the mine, shoot it so that it kills
    one of the guards. The other will go over so you can kill him as well. 
    
    When both are dead, run into the room and down the little side hall. The door
    should slide open. This room is where the technicians are. Run into the room 
    and you should see two technicians stuck in the corner and two wall mines.
    Slowly sneak up to them and walk up to one of the mines and deactivate it.
    Then sneak up to the other one and deactivate this one as well. While you are
    doing this, one of the technicians will explain how there is a bomb near a 
    gas line, which will take out the whole floor. Run back into the darker hall 
    and down where you haven't been yet. Here you should pass a checkpoint.
    
    Run into the next room and Lambert will tell you that the technician was right
    and that there is a bomb and a timer for 2 minutes 30 seconds will begin. 
    
    Run up to the keypad door and then back into the room and the technician will
    be there and will tell you the code to the door, which is 33575. Open the door
    and run into the next room. There is a fire blocking the hall so go into the
    room on the right and pick up the medical kit that is next to a tech's body.
    There is a doorway with a wall mine on the door, so deactivate the mine and run
    into the next room. Run to the back of the room and through the door. There is
    a mine in the doorway, but if you are quick enough, you should be able to run 
    past it and get away from the explosion. 
    
    Run to where the fire is and there will be a door on the right side of the 
    hall. Take this, and follow the corridor and turn left, when you see a sign
    that says 'The Archives.' Turn in here. Here you will hear a beeping sound and
    if you can't, then you are in the wrong place. Go through the door and run to
    the end and go through the door on the left. This is locked so unlock it. If
    you are running out of time, then use a disposable pick, otherwise just pick
    it normally. When the door is unlocked, run inside and you should see that
    there is a fire on both sides and some filling cabinets in the middle. Jump
    up on top of the cabinet and run to the end and jump off. Nor run over to the
    bomb and choose to defuse it. 
    
    Now jump back onto the cabinet and run to the other side and run out the room.
    Here, go left through the sliding door and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Run into the next room and wait just in front of the door, so that you can see
    in the room but are in the shadows. A guard should walk in and you will be able
    to sniper him. If the other guard hears and comes to investigate, then kill 
    him, but if he doesn't then, run forward and turn the lights off by the switch
    so that the guard will come to see who turned it off. Run back into the shadows
    and when you get a clear shot at him, kill him as well. One of the guards in 
    this room will drop a satchel with some SC-20K ammo, so make sure you get that
    because you will more then likely need it. 
    
    Run into the next room and go down the steps and you will be in a big room with 
    a stage. Go to the left of the stage and you should come to a set of stairs.
    Go down the stairs and you will see a cut-scene where there is three guards who
    have seen you. Back up the stairs a bit and get out your SC-20K and make sure
    that it is on rapid fire (by pressing the L3) button. Wait here at the stairs,
    and some of the guards should come looking for you. Kill both of them and make
    your way down the stairs looking for the other guard or guards. Kill them as
    you spot them and run around all the machines until you come to a table. Here
    you will find some SC-20K ammo, some 5.72 ammo, a Ring Airfoil Round and some
    Frag Grenades. On the wall opposite the table should be some meter boxes. Go
    up to them and you should be able to use the switch. As soon as you do this, 
    you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    You will need to do a bit of backtracking here, so run back out of this room 
    and back into the auditorium. Go up the stairs here and in the next room there
    is a guard. Kill him however you feel and pick up the satchel that he drops
    because you will get the code for the door. Run over to the door that is in
    this room and enter the code which is 1250. Open the door and you will pass
    a save point.

    When you start again, run to where the stairs are and wait in the shadows. Look
    on the catwalk above you. Look at the door and wait for a guard to come out of
    the door. Kill him, but if he doesn't come, then run up the stairs and make a 
    noise to lure him out. Go up to the door and use the Optic Cable to see that 
    there is a guard there. Use your door stealth to partly open the door. The
    guard should see you and call another guard. Shut the door and then run back
    a bit and aim at the door so that you can kill the two guards as they come
    through the door. 
    
    When both are dead, run into the next room and you should find that there is 
    two rooms on the left of the room, and both are locked. Don't bother going in
    these because there is nothing to do or get in either. There is also a room 
    on the right of the hall with a pool table in it. All that is in there is a
    Disposable Pick so if you don't need that, don't bother going in there either.
    
    Instead, run to the end of the hall and around the corner you should see a door
    with a medical sign next to it. Run in here and you will be able to find a 
    medical kit. There is also a Technician in here and if you talk to him, he will
    tell you how to get to Ivan before dying. Now be careful leaving this room
    because there is two guards in the halls somewhere, so find them and kill them
    both. 
    
    Next, run down the hall until you come to a big glass wall and find two 
    computers in the room. There is a red one and a blue one. Use the red one and
    you have now opened the fire door and Lambert will tell you that you must be 
    quick. Now run down the next hall and open the door and run to the top of the
    stairs. Here you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Run up and open the door but be very quiet because there is two guards in this
    room. What you can do here is open the door and then put your back against the
    wall and look into your room. Fire a shot to attract the guards and they will
    come over to investigate and you will be able to take both of them out as they
    come. Another way of doing it is to sneak behind the counter and throw a can
    that is there to distract the guards or even just shoot them from here. Or for
    a more explosive way, you could place a wall mine next to the door, attract the
    guards and let them see you so that they will see you and run at you. Then just 
    shut the door and stand in front of it so that they can't open it and wait for
    the mine to go off. It will hopefully kill both guards and not effect you at 
    all.
    
    Anyway, run through the next doors and you will see a guard enter the toilets
    and find Ivan. Run forward and also enter the toilets and well and jump up
    into the vents. Here go left and look for the opening on you left. You should
    see the guard and Ivan. Kill the guard before he gets to zero and then jump
    down and talk to Ivan. He will give you the Encryption Key and when you are 
    finished talking, leave the toilets and run down the hall into the next room.
    In here, run up to the elevator and open it. Run inside and choose to go up
    and you should be able to save.

    In the next room, you will hear three guards talking so be very quiet so that 
    they don't hear you. Slowly creep forward so that you can see the guards. Get
    out your SC-20K and use the scope and if you are quick enough, you should be
    able to peg off two of the guards before they get a chance to move. Then just
    move in and find the other guard and kill him as well. When all three guards 
    dead, run into the next room.
    
    In here, run over to the crates and jump up onto them and onto the one on that.
    Now here, jump on top of the building roof, behind the curtain. Now from here 
    you can jump onto the floor below or jump onto the wood platform and make your
    way down to the floor. Here you will be able to find a medical kit on the wall
    and when you have that run through the door and hide behind one of the crates
    here and face the door. Make sure you are in the shadows and when the two 
    guards come in, take out whichever one you can. The other will come over, and
    if you are in the shadows he should run over but won't see you and you will 
    be able to kill him as well. When both are dead, run around the corner and you
    will find another medical kit and some SC-20K and 5.72mm ammo. When you have 
    all this, run through the door the guards came from and you will pass a 
    checkpoint.
    
    Run into the next room and look for a pipe that is against a wall. Next to this
    you should find a small gap. You should be able to put your back against the 
    wall and walk through there. On the other side a guard will see you. Run to the
    door and put your back against the left side of the wall. Now if you lean out 
    and get out your pistol, you should be able to shoot the guard that is hiding
    behind the crate. There is a total of three guards in this room and when you
    kill are of them, run in. From here there is two ways you can go. One is up the
    ladder and the other is through a passage way. Either way you will end up in the 
    same room. In here, you will find some Frag Grenades and a medical kit. When you
    have these run through the door that is in here and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Now run to the top of the stairs and open the door and you will be spotted and
    have to live through a small fire fight. There is a guard in a window in the 
    second floor and he will throw grenades at you. But if you stay hidden behind 
    the crates and pillar you should be find. There is also another guard who will
    run up to you, so kill him before he can get too many shots in. Then the last
    guard is hiding behind a pillar and you should be able to kill when he comes 
    out to shoot you. When all three guards are dead, run in and run up the stairs
    so that you are in the area one of the guards was. From the top of the stairs,
    go left and you should come to an open vent, at the bottom of the wall. Crouch 
    down and jump in and you will be able to save again. 
    
    Crouch down again and you will have to walk through a small vent. At the end
    you should see a guard standing in front of the vent with his back to you. Try
    and kill him in one shot. Jump in and run over to the door. Quickly open it
    and then run into a room on your left and you should be able to find some more 
    ammo for both guns. Get that and then wait in the shadows for a guard to come 
    in. Kill him and the other guard should come in to investigate. Kill him also.
    Now run into the next room and go to the door and there should be a guard come
    in or he is standing at the end of the hall. Kill him and then run down the 
    hall. 
    
    Go through the first door on your left and you should be in an unfinished
    toilet. On the pillar in the middle is a wall mine so sneak over to that and 
    deactivate it. When you have done this, run out and into the toilets at the
    end. In here wait for a guard to come into the room. Kill him and then run over
    and deactivate the wall mine that is on the pillar. 
    
    Next run into the room the guard came from and there will be an unfinished
    wall so you can see right into the room. Run into the room and get the medical
    kit. Now run down the hall and into the next room and you will pass a 
    checkpoint.
    
    Here you will see a set of stairs and a hall with water. Go down the hall and
    you should see a guard. Kill him and another guard will come and a second will
    come down a ladder, so kill both of them. When all three of the guards are 
    dead, run forward and around a corner and you will come to a small drop. Jump 
    down and you should hear some guns being fired. Run forward and climb up the
    ladder of the scaffold. When you get to the top of the first ladder, get out
    your gun and kill the two guards that have come. When both of them are dead, 
    continue climbing up the ladders. When you get to the blue rooftop, jump on it
    and kill the guard that is shooting the plane. He shouldn't see you so you have
    some time to kill him. When he is dead, climb onto the crate that is there and 
    jump from there and try to grab hold of the door of the plane. Now pull 
    yourself up and run into the plane and you will finally finish this level.

    Russia makes it impossible to trace the network beyond this point.

    Well, back to having a set amount of alarms. 
    
    When you first start off you will be near a set of stairs. Run to the other
    end of the room and hide behind a generator. Now make a noise so that the guard
    below will hear you and come to investigate. Kill him when he gets to the top
    of the stairs. Now hide the body and run to the top of the stairs. Here, shoot
    out the camera that is by the door. Sneak down and of you look in the storage
    area with all the crates, you should see a window. If there is no one in front
    of it, run into the room and shoot out the light to sent the room into 
    darkness. Now wait by the window for a guard to walk by. When he stops kill 
    him. 
    
    Now open the window and jump out and head right. You should come to a big 
    outside area. If you use your SC-20K, you should be able to zoom in and kill
    the guard that is far off in the distance. Now because this area is covered 
    by snow, it is hard to find a dark spot to hide the two bodies. Your best
    bet is to hide them back in the building. 
    
    Once you have hidden the bodies, run outside again and to the other end of the
    yard and you should be able to find a door. Sneak into the room and there is a
    guard patrolling the hall so take him out in one shot. Now instead of hiding the
    body, shoot out the two lights that are on the wall, to send the area into 
    complete darkness. Now turn on your night vision and run into the small room
    that is at the end of the hall. In here you will find a medical kit. Once you
    have this leave the room and go through the door on your right. It is locked
    so you will have to open it with the lock picks. Once you have unlocked it
    run through and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Run into this small area and you should see a door. All this is, is a small
    room with a flare in it, so there is no real point of going in there. Instead,
    just to the left of the door is a rusted pipe. You should be able to climb this
    to the top of the room. Up here, run straight forward and you should see 
    another pipe. Climb up this and when you are up the top, run into the corner
    to stay out of the spot light. Follow the light until you find where it is.
    But before you shoot out the light, there is two guards next to it so kill them
    both. You will have to be quick though because once you shoot the first the 
    other will see and come to investigate. Be quick and kill both and then shoot
    out the search light. Now run along the ledge and climb up the pipe at the 
    end. When you get to the top, run along the ledge and climb into the vent that
    is there.

    Beck writes: On the power plant level near the beginning, you go through a door 
    and there is a door in front which holds just barrels and a flare, and you are
    supposed to go up the drainpipe, and the next drainpipe and so on...  well
    before going up the drainpipe, go right to the left corner of the fence, climb 
    over the fence, duck under the pipe and you will find frag grenades and gun 
    ammo.

    When you get to the end of the vent, turn on your thermal goggles and try and 
    find where the guard above you is patrolling. When you have found him kill him 
    if you have a clear shot, otherwise just climb out of the vent when he isn't 
    looking and killing him then. There is also another guard patrolling this area,
    so be kill him as well when he comes over. When both are dead, run over to
    the door and shoot out the camera that is above it and then run through the 
    door into the next room. 
    
    In here you will find a medical kit and a Frag Grenade. You will also notice 
    that there is two doors right next to each other. You came through the left
    one and need to go through the one on the right. It is locked, so pick it
    open and proceed into the room. In here you will find a big fan on the floor
    and a small vent. Fall in here and then follow the vent until you jump down
    onto an elevator and will be able to save.

    |    The Meltdown    |

    When you start up again, you will be on top of an elevator and will have 
    changed into your normal outfit. You should hear two workers talking inside 
    the elevator and you won't be able to move until the elevator stops. When it
    does, run forward and drop down onto a small platform and then again so that
    you are below the elevator. Here walk under the elevator and through the path
    and you will be under a platform. Be very careful in here because there is a 
    lot going on. 
    
    Find a place to jump out and when you have found it look around and shoot out 
    any cameras that you see. There is two cameras in this area as well as a guard 
    and two workers. Kill the guard, but knock out the workers because you are not 
    allowed to kill them. You can use some of the gadgets of the SC-20K to knock 
    them out. When everyone is dead, you can hide the bodies in a small room and 
    shoot out the light so that the room is dark. Now find a path and shoot out the 
    camera that is here as well. You should also find a sliding door that you can't
    open and a storage room with a medical kit. 
    
    Now run back to where you started from and drop down so that you are under the
    walkway again. Now here, find a walkway so that you can follow the path and
    will come out in the room you couldn't get into. You should also see a 
    cut-scene where a worker and technician walk into the room and you will pass
    a checkpoint. 
    
    When you immerge, go right and wait at the small stairs. Wait here for the
    technician to pass and then grab him and take him back down into the lower
    area you came from and start to interrogate him. He will tell you the access
    code to the Cooling Rod Room. When he is finished, knock him out and then if 
    you look above you on the catwalk, you should see a guard. Kill him, but make 
    sure it is in one shot so not to raise an alarm. 
    
    Now run through the door that is next to the glass door and you will be in a 
    hall. Enter the room where the worker is and knock him out and hide his body
    before he can sound the alarm. You will also find a medical kit in here. Now 
    leave this room and continue down the hall and be careful to shoot out the two 
    cameras. You will also find a guard so kill him and two workers, so knock them
    out and hide all the bodies in the room. Now run to the end of the hall and go 
    left and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Run forward and shoot out the camera that is across the hall. When this is out
    use the code to open the door to the Cooling Rod Room. The code is 560627. 
    Run inside and slowly make your way down the stairs so not to make a noise. 
    
    When you are halfway down the stairs, get out your SC-20K and use the scope
    to shoot out the two cameras that are on the huge round things that make up
    a wall. When both of them are shot out you will find a medical kit near the
    bottom of the stairs. Now run into the room and run over and knock the worker
    out and hide his body in the shadows.  Now run back up on the platform and 
    you will see that there are four computer. Each of these will increase the
    meltdown alarm by 25 percent so use all four to get the meltdown alarm to 100.
    
    Now run into the shadows and wait for a guard to come. When he comes, kill him
    and make your way back up the stairs to the top. When you get to the top, go
    up the newly open stairs and you will be able to save.

    When you start again, run to the top of the stairs while listening to Lambert
    and Grim. When you get to the top, go into the wall and when you come to some
    vending machines, quickly run across the hall to the room on the other wall.
    There is an automated gun down the hall, so be quick or it will see you and
    start shooting you. When you are in the room, run past all the control 
    computers and into the next room. Wait here and a guard will come up the stairs
    in the next room and start walking along a catwalk. You should be able to run 
    into the room and sneak up and knock him out or kill him. Just make sure that
    you kill him in one shot or without making any noise. 
    
    When the guard is dead, run down the stairs and sneak up on the technician that
    is down here, grab him and interrogate him, however, this is not necessary. All
    you need is a satchel that he is holding. Knock him out and pick up the 
    satchel. Now run back to the top of the stairs in this room. If you look 
    carefully, the path at the top spits in two. One path is bright and the other
    is dark. Go along the bight path (the one that you will be going straight 
    ahead if you came from the next room) and you should find a vent near the roof.
    You should be able to jump up and climb into this. 
    
    Follow the path and you should come out in a small office room. In here you 
    will be able to find a flare and a medical kit, and in the hall you should
    find some ammo for your SC-20K. Grab this and open the door and you will be
    next to the gun turret. You should hear two guards talking. Run over to the
    gun turret and instead of deactivating it, deactivate the IFF (this controls 
    the heat seeking device, so instead of just shooting enemies, it will shoot
    anyone.) This should then start shooting at the two guards down the hall and
    kill both of them. When they are dead, deactivate the gun altogether and run
    over and hide the two bodies if they aren't already in the shadows. 
    
    Now run back past the gun and over to the glass doors. You will need to enter
    the code to the door, which is 151822. Run in and follow the halls and you
    will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Keep going and on the floor you should see two chemical flares so get them.
    When you come to a room with glass walls and broken glass panels. Be careful
    in here because there is a gun turret at the end of the room so be careful.
    From the hall quickly run across the and through one of the broken panels of
    glass into an office. Now make your way to the back of the room, staying in
    the offices and using broken glass panels to slip past the gun. When you are
    up near the gun, wait until it is facing the other way, before slipping past
    it and deactivating it.
    
    Now run into about the middle of the room and you should see a passage way
    on the left side of the room. Run down the hall and shoot out the camera that
    is above a door and then run through the door. Run in and you will pass
    another checkpoint.
    
    Run forward and open another door and run left and hide in the shadows. A 
    guard should come out so kill him and then kill the other guard that is in the
    area. When they are dead, hide the bodies and run into the room with the green
    lighting. You should also be able to find two medical kits next to each other
    back in the hall. Anyway, go through a door that is on the left of the room 
    and you should hear a technician talking. Sneak up on him and grab him and you
    will need to interrogate him. He will tell you why the Russian military is 
    at the plant and then when he is finished, knock him out. Use the computer that
    is on the table and then go through the door and you will have the opportunity
    to save.

    When you start again, run forward and open the door and go to the top of the
    stairs. Here there is two guards to kill them however you please. I found it
    easy to lean out from the wall and shoot them this way. When both are dead
    run over and use the computer that is in a corner. When you have used this,
    run down the hall and use the computer on your right. In here you will find
    a medical kit. Leave this room and continue down the hall and you will come
    to a door that is keypad locked. But don't worry because Grim will chime in
    and give you the code. The code is 795021. The door will slide open so run
    in and you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Run forward and drop down where the floor has been pulled up and fall down onto
    a platform. Now you should see a red pipe. You need to jump onto this and then
    slide down to the bottom. At the bottom, you will be at the top of some vents.
    There is two guards wandering around this area, so kill them and then run 
    through the door on the other end of the room and you will complete the level.

    When you start, talk to the woman that is in front of you and when she is 
    finished run left and jump up onto the dumpster and pull yourself over the 
    fence and fall down on the other side. Here slowly move forward as the guard
    comes up to you. Try not to make a noise and when you are close enough knock 
    him out. If he does see you then another guard will come over to investigate as
    well. Run over to the end of the alley and you should find a guard patrolling
    around the area. Take him out and then run over to where the fire is. Here you
    will find a ladder and if you climb to the top, you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Run around the broken wall and drop down in the streets in the shadows. A 
    guard will be wandering around the area and when he moves into the shadows,
    knock him out. If you made a noise, another guard should come over. Also wait
    from him to come close to the shadows before taking him out. Now run down the
    end of the alley and at the end you should find two dumpsters next to on the 
    right side of the alley. There is red posters in that area so once you have 
    found it, jump onto the dumpster and over the fence. 
    
    When on the other side, run forward and near the end, go right and hide in the 
    darker area. Be very careful because there is two guards patrolling around 
    together and there isn't any shadows around so you will be easily seen. What
    I did here was shoot one guard with a Ring Airfoil Round (try not to use your
    Sticky Shockers yet) so that they are drowsy and then run over to them and 
    knock them out before quickly running back into the shadows. Then I did this
    to the second guard. When they are both down, hide the bodies. Don't do it
    while one is still wandering around or you will more likely be found. Once the
    bodies are in the shadows, find a gap in the fence and run through. Now look 
    for a hole in the ground with a barrier. Run over to it and climb down it and
    at the bottom you will have to jump off. Here you will be able to save.

    asdasdas dasdad writes: Well, I thought about making my own faq but I'd rather 
    give comments out. I used some of your faq to help me out and I noticed some 
    things that made the game easier than you can maybe alter. Such as in the 
    Embassy, in the very beginning the first guard can be taken out if you jump on 
    him from the platform with the fence. The second guard can be taken out if you 
    jump on the police car, then onto the umbrella thing over the store. When he 
    gets close just jump onto him and knock him out. The next two guards that walk
    together near the sewer can be taken out similarly. The guard that patrols near 
    you is the only one you need to take down. When you climb the fence to reach 
    that side where they are... climb onto the yellowish roof on the right of that 
    fence. Move forward and let only that guard spot you a little. He will say "I 
    saw something" and move around.  Go back into the shadows still on the roof but 
    stay near the edge. While he's patrolling he will come close to the edge of 
    the roof and you can jump on him.  Hide him and just sneak to the sewers. The 
    first guy you have to take out in the sewers can be snuck up on if you shoot
    out the first light. And then sneak up close enough to shoot out the light 
    he's standing under. I haven't beaten the game yet, I'm at the Abboiter or 
    whatever it is called, I'm not near the screen. But I appreciate you writing 
    your guide it helped me out. I didn't buy it I rented it yesterday and I'll 
    try and beat it and go through it and send you some more stuff. But jumping 
    down on people makes the Embassy a whole lot easier... because sneaking up is 
    next to impossible.

    Turn on your night vision and run forward and go left. When you get near the
    end, slow down and you should see two guards walk past. Get out your gun and
    fire a Diversion Camera over at them and get it to make a noise, by pressing 
    Circle. It is hard to see where they are because it is dark, but when you think 
    they are near the camera, Press the Square and the camera will emit a gas and
    hopefully knock out one of the guards or even both. If one is still left, he
    should be about to wake the other one up, so run over and knock him out before
    he gets a change to. 
    
    When both are down, you shouldn't have to worry about hiding them, because 
    where they are should be dark enough. Now run down the sewer, and when you 
    get to an intersection, go straight ahead. Go through an open gate, and around
    a corner with a will lit area. There should be a guard wandering around these
    parts of the sewer, so take him out if you have to, other wise just after the
    big light, you should find a ladder above you. You will have to jump up to grab
    it, but once you are on, Sam will pull himself up. Climb to the top and you 
    will pall a checkpoint.
    
    Climb out of the sewers and you should see a guard standing next to the ladder
    with his back to you. You will easily be able to knock him out. Now run over 
    behind the piece of material that is hanging against the wall. Now wait here
    and the other guard should come over and see the body. But you will be able to
    strike from behind the curtain and knock him out. 
    
    Nor run over to the scaffold that is in the area and find the ladder and climb
    up it. When at the top, run over to the gap and you will be able to grab onto
    the pipe that is above you to swing over to the other side. On the other side
    you should find a window, which you can climb through. When you are in the room
    run over to the corner and climb up the pipe and through the hole in the roof.

    Lars writes: Once you get to the first checkpoint (up the ladder from the 
    burning barrel), I've found it easier to go around the broken wall and over 
    to the scaffolding, then climb the ladders up to the top of the scaffolding, 
    shoot out the light across the street by the door (with all the bugs around 
    the lamp). You can then jump up and grab the line that goes across the street, 
    and cross over both the guards. Once you're across, you can pick up the 
    medical kit, then walk along the ledge on the left side of the door. Around 
    the 	corner, you'll find a ladder, which will bring you down to a container 
    right next to the fence that you'll need to climb. Give it a shot...

    When you are in the room, up top, run over to the door and you will find the
    contact in the doorway. Talk to him and he will tell you how to get into the 
    embassy. When he is finished talking, you can run over to him and talk again
    and he will give you some more info on the Chinese general. Run over to the 
    small steps and run along the platform. At the end you should find a chimney.
    You can Rappel off this and down the wall. Rappel down the wall and when you
    get onto the ground below, you will pass a save point.

    Run forward and sneak through the door that is on your right. Run through
    here to the door out, and wait for a guard to come. Wait in the alley and
    when he is close to you, grab him and knock him out. Now run down the alley
    and you should see a guard down the end in the streets. Sneak up and wait at
    the end of the shadows. 
    
    When you get the change, sneak up on him and knock him out. If you made a 
    noise, then there is a guard up on the second floor of a building and he will 
    start shooting at you. Just get out a Sticky Shocker and shoot it at him so 
    that he passes out. Now run down the street and when you find an alley on the
    left side of the street, take it. There is also a path to the right, but there
    is a guard there and you don't need to go there so don't bother.
    
    Run down this alley and when you find a bottle on the floor, pick it up and 
    keep doing. When you come to a ladder, throw the bottle on the ground and a 
    guard should come over to investigate. When he does this, just shoot him
    with a Sticky Shocker or Ring Airfoil Round. Hide his body and then keep 
    going.

    Jason writes: After sneaking and knocking out the first guard. Instead of 
    turning right and going down the alley, look straight forward at the 
    scaffoldings. Shoot out the light, and next to the light is a ladder. Climb 
    up and then another ladder and you should see a hole in the wall. Go through 
    and you will end up in a room behind the guard on the second floor of the 
    building. Knock him out and then return to ground via the same way.
    Run to the end of the alley and here you should find a dumpster up against a
    wall. Climb into this and then double jump the wall and you will be able to 
    save.

    CJ Williams writes: I'm not sure if the PS2 and GC are the same in this regard,
    but I found out another interesting tidbit of info regarding the mission so 
    many people despise on both platforms...The Chinese Embassy (first time). What 
    I found it is that after you've learned about the planned execution of the US 
    soldiers, you are no longer bound to the "no killing" rule. You are back in 
    Fifth Freedom territory, which means you are once again allowed to use lethal 
    force. You can simply finish off the mission by sniping both guards and then 
    leaving the compound.  I noticed this when my objectives "Killing any 
    personnel will result in mission failure" and "Setting off any alarms will 
    result in mission failure" objectives were both marked as completed. Sure 
    enough, I tried sniping two guards, and I wasn't yelled at for either. I even 
    got spotted by a camera on accident, and didn't fail for that either.
    
    Needless to say, just thought you'd like to know. =)

    When you start again, be quick. Crouch down and run to the end of the alley.
    Here go right and stay in the shadows. When you pass a white van, stop and 
    wait for a patrolling guard to pass. When he is behind you, run down the street
    and hide in the shadows again. Run over to the gate and the van has stopped
    and is talking to another guard. Run along the right side of the van and run
    straight to under a truck trailer. Wait here and on the other side, there is
    a guard. Use whatever you have to take him out, but try not to make a noise.
    Also, now that you are in the embassy, you cannot set off any alarms at all.
    
    Now you can fire a Diversion Camera into the toll gate and take out the guard
    that is on there, however you don't have to. But if you do, make sure that you
    run over and hide the body.
    
    Run down the street, where the van went, and you should see a guard 
    patrolling. You should be able to sneak up on him, but if you can, then just 
    use a projectile. When he is out, hide the body and run around the embassy.
    Run over the bridge and past the gazebo. You will need to jump back over the
    stream again and hide in the dark bushes and you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Sneak forward into the bushes and when you see a cut-scene of the Chinese 
    general, get out your Laser Mic and move it over to the window where the 
    general is. After the conversation, Lambert will say that he wants to hear
    the rest of the conversation in the car. 
    
    Just wait where you are and the general will come out of the embassy and get
    into his car. The car will leave and will stop at the front gate. Now's your 
    cue. Get out the Laser Mic again and point it over the car so that the square
    in the middle goes red. 
    
    Listen to the conversation and when it is over, it will be time for extraction.
    Run through the bushes towards the embassy building. Then when the guard 
    patrolling around is not looking. Run across the front of the building it the
    other side and into the shadows. Be careful here because you cannot touch
    any of the guards, not even knock them out, and if they see you, its mission
    over. 
    
    Now turn on your night vision goggles and run up to the wall. Run along the
    wall until you find a small pipe and the barb wire broken up top. Climb up the 
    pipe and jump over onto the other side. Now talk to the woman and you will 
    pass the level.

    When you start, run forward and take out the two patrolling guards and hide
    the bodies. Remember you can kill again in this level. Hide the bodies and 
    then continue and open the door and you should pass a checkpoint.
    
    Use the computer that is in the room and then run into the next area. Run 
    through the gate and you should hear a guard say that the mine field is ready.
    Stop and turn on your thermal goggles and you will be able to see the mines. 
    They are little square things that will flash. They will appear and then 
    disappear from view for a few seconds, so be careful where you walk. 
    
    From the gate you entered from, go right straight away after the dumpster and 
    go to the right of a container so that you are running along the fence. Here
    you should see two mines blocking your path, so jump onto the huge container.
    From in here kill the guard that is on the second floor of the building next
    to you, and then the guard down the end, standing next to the search light. 
    Kill the guard first and then shoot out the light. Once you have done this,
    jump over to the other side and land next to the barrel that is there because
    there is two mines near the base of the container. From here, run over to the 
    container with a roof and climb on it. From here jump over to the other 
    container with a roof and drop down on the other side and you are out of the 
    mine field.
    
    Nor run into the next room and get the medical kit and then look up near the
    roof for a path. Once you have found it, climb into the top of the dumpster
    that is perpendicular to the wall. Then double jump and pull yourself up into
    the gap. Run forward and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Walk through the path and come out on the roof of a building with big glass
    skylights. Do not jump onto the tin roof just yet but instead, run along the
    more solid beams. You will eventually have to drop on the roof, but do it
    as close to the antenna, which is in the corner, as you can. When you do it,
    two guards will hear and think its a rat. Now be VERY careful. You have to 
    creep so slowly that you don't make a noise at all. If you do make the 
    slightest noise, the two guards will realize that you are not a rat and sound
    an alarm. When you get over to the antenna, go up to it and you will get an
    option 'Switch Object.' Choose this and you will see everyone panic.
    
    Now run (don't worry about making a noise now) to under the stairs and wait
    for a guard to come. He will wander around looking for you, so kill him the
    first chance you get. Now hide the body and run up the stairs onto the
    platform. The door is locked so use the lock picks to open it. Run inside
    and use the keypad to your right. The code is 770215. Open the door and you
    will pass a save point.

    Sam Fisher writes: In the Abattoir walkthrough you said to stay on the solid 
    beams on the roof and then run. If you follow the solid beams far enough you 
    should find a few wooden planks near a neon sign. Walk across the planks and 
    jump up and grab a bar hanging by the sign. Shimmy across until you get near a 
    line leading to the antenna. Jump up and shimmy across this until you get to 
    the antenna. Finally, climb the fence and turn off the antenna.
    
    Other then this your guide was good. Keep up the good work.

    Run down the steps and open the door on he left. In here climb on top of the
    barrels and jump up and grab onto the beam that is up there. Swing across and
    when you get close to the wall, lift Sam's legs up so that he can fit across.
    When you get to the other side, swing right up to the far wall and wait for
    the guard below you to go over to the basin. When he does this, drop down
    and you should land on him and knock him out. 
    
    Now get out you gun and slowly move around the room until you find the second
    guard. When you find him, kill him and then there should be another guard 
    patrolling the halls. Kill him as well and hide the bodies in the hall and
    shoot out the light. You will also want to use the computer and get the medical 
    kit that are in the toilets.
    
    Now run down the hall and shoot out the lights as you go, to create some 
    shadows for later on. Run to the door at the end and go through it. Slowly 
    sneak up on the guard that is sitting down and grab him and interrogate him.
    Knock him out when he is finished and use the computer and get the SC-20K
    ammo. When you are finished, leave the room and drop down into the vent that
    is on the floor. 
    
    Follow the vents and when you get to the end, climb up the pipe. Up the top,
    drop off and quickly grab hold of the ledge and pull yourself up. You are on
    the roof here so be quiet or you will be heard. Run along until you find a
    small hole. Look down and you should see a guard and should be able to take
    him out. There is a second guard in there so take him out if you can, but if
    you can see him, wait a bit and then drop in and kill him too. Shoot out the
    lights to hide the bodies. Now run into the room where all the fog is coming
    from and you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    It is very hard to see in here and I have found that the thermal goggles help 
    when you are trying to see enemies because it cuts out all the fog. There is
    a guard patrolling around here so kill him. Run into the next room and there
    is another guard in here so kill him and then quickly run forward and to the 
    left of the room and you should find an automated gun. Deactivate this and 
    run into the hall and into the next room. In here there is two guards 
    patrolling up and down the hall, so kill both of them and continue on. 
    
    Before you move into the next room wait in the doorway. Look in and you should
    see an automated gun. Wait until it is looking away and throw a chemical flare
    in the other direction to get its attention before running in, jumping over it 
    and deactivating it. A guard should come over, so kill him and look around and 
    you should find a medical kit. Once you have it, run through the next door and 
    you should pass a checkpoint.

    Jason writes: Instead of throwing a chemical flare to distract the second 
    automated gun. Simply climb onto the shelf and grap the pipe above. Then pull 
    Sam's leg up and pull him into the next room, pass the automated gun. Jump 
    off at the end and you should land safely behind another shelf/cupboard.
    Run down the hall and when you come to a corner, kill the guard that is down
    the end. Then run forward and kill the guard that is in the doorway. This 
    should attract another guard so kill him too. When all three guards are dead,
    run into the room and run to the back. Here jump up and pull yourself up to
    the top of the silver containers that are there. Jump down and fall into the
    vent.

    Follow the vent and pull yourself out when you get to the end. In this next 
    room, shoot out the light and then grab the medical kit. Run down the stairs
    and then kill the guard that is in the next room. When he is dead, run along 
    the side and use the switch to open the door in the middle. When it is open 
    run in and you will pass a checkpoint.

    silent_strike writes: In the Abattoir mission, before going through the keypad
    locked door on the roof go down the stairs. Underneath the stairs there are 
    three wall mines (one of which is on the wall), a sticky shocker, a medical 
    kit, and a computer. There is a ventilation duct running across the wall above 
    the computer. Jump onto it and you'll find some frag grenades, flares, and 
    ammunition for the SC-20K.

    When you start again run forward and go right at the end into the barn. Go 
    through the door and kill the guard that is in the hall and then run down there
    and get the flare that is there. Run into the next hall and grab the SC-20K 
    ammo and continue down the hall. You should see two guards talking down the 
    end of one hall, so kill both of them. Enter the room but be careful because
    there is two automated gun in the stalls to your left. Deactivate both and run
    through the door at the end of the room. Run down the hall and you will pass
    a checkpoint. 
    
    Run forward and get the medical kit and run into the next hall. Run though the
    curtain and look down the hall and you should see two guards walking towards 
    you. Kill both before they see you, and then run over and hide the bodies. 
    Now continue to follow the halls and you will pass anther checkpoint. 
    
    Run into the next room and run to the back. Here you will find two automated
    guns facing away from each other. Deactivate both, and then run through any
    of the two halls and you will find some of the hostages. You should also find
    numerous things in this area. Two frag grenades, two medical kits and some
    ammo for your SC-20K. When you find the three Chinese hostages. Run into the
    room and one of the men should talk to you and tell you that Kong Feirong
    doesn't represent China. Anyway, when you finish talking you will pass a 
    checkpoint.
    
    Here you will see that there is going to be an assault on the basement, where
    you are. Run back out to the automated gun and activate the gun that is facing
    the soldiers, but make sure you turn the IFF function off. This way, it will 
    kill the guards as they try and get past. Now all you have to do is keep 
    killing the guards until Grinko says he going down there and make sure none of
    then get to the hostages. 
    
    Here just run as far forward as you can, while staying in cover. Turn on your
    thermal goggles to see where Grinko is and when you see he start shooting. If
    he is on one spot, you can throw a grenade at him and that should kill him. 
    When he is dead, him men should back off and you will finish the level.

    |  shuts so that you don't have to enter the code, but if you don't you are   |
    |  going to have to use your thermal goggles. Turn them on and then use the   |
    |  keypad and you should be able to see lots of colours. This is how it works.|
    |  The colours are based on heat. So if they are black they haven't been      |
    |  touched, if they are blue, they were first and if it was red or yellow,    |
    |  then they were last. This is a four code door, so this is how you enter the|
    |  code. The light blue is first, then darker blue. After this there is yellow|
    |  and last is red, because this is hottest.                                  |

    When you start, listen to what Lambert has to say and then run forward and 
    open the glass door on your left. Run inside the embassy and run through the
    restaurant. Make sure that you are crouching and when you start to hear two
    people talking, stop and sneak forward. From where you are, the two guards
    are sitting down on a table on the other side of the counter. You should be 
    able to kill one while he is in the chair and the other as he gets up. When 
    they are both dead, hide the bodies in the shadows. Next to the door that leads
    into the kitchen, you should find a hallway that leads to some toilets. Go
    into the female toilets and you should find a Medical Kit. When you have this
    run back and into the kitchen, by the door next to the counter.

    Ryan Rhine writes: In "The Embassy Server" mission after you shoot the first 
    two guards sitting at the table and you go towards the bathrooms, you mention 
    the medical kit in the women's bathroom. If you go in to the men's bathroom and 
    wait for the door to close you will find 5.72mm ammunition behind it sitting by 
    the mop bucket.

    Trung Bui writes: There's another way on top of the roof that's slightly less 
    risky and doesn't require shooting guards. Go to the BACK of the restaurant 
    where the service entrance is, shoot out the light, use your optic cable to 
    make sure the cook is AWAY from the door, open it, turn the light off, run 
    straight, turn right at the end of the table and climb the ladder. Climb the 
    second ladder to the roof, head across the planks to the door, open it, hide 
    next to the door, wait for the guy to move to the toilet area and then take 
    him out in one shot. Easy as pie.

    Stand in the doorway, and if you go directly left, you should come to a ladder 
    that is hidden in the shadows and is in the corner of the room. Climb up this
    and then up the second one that is up top. When you get to the top, climb onto
    the roof and run along the planks and open the door and you will pass a 
    checkpoint. 
    
    Run into the room and a guard should come in. The room is pretty dark, so 
    he shouldn't see you, so kill him and make sure the body is very well hidden. 
    Then just run through the door that he came from and you will be on a balcony.
    Look on the sides of the doorway and you should see a pipe on one side. Climb
    up this and when you get to the top, you will slide down a zip line and grab 
    onto a ledge on the opposite building. Climb along the ledge, until there is
    a roof top under you and you can drop down on it. When you are on it, run to 
    the other side and you should see another ledge, which you can walk across it.
    Walk slowly so that you don't fall off and when you come to a window, climb
    up the pipe that is next to it to the small area above you. In here open the
    trap door on the ground and drop in.
    
    Drop in and try not to make a noise. If you do, you will attract a guard, so 
    act fast. Shoot out the light that is on the ceiling and then wait for the
    guard to come over before killing him. If he didn't hear you, they you can fire
    a Diversion Camera around the corner and gas him out. Hide the body and then 
    continue into the room with the red curtain in the doorway. 
    
    In here, you should find a medical kit. Grab that and then run through the 
    hole in the wall. Put your back up against the wall (L3) and stand up, so that 
    you can fit through the tight gap. At the end you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Get off the wall and there is a vent with a pipe in the middle. Grab onto the 
    pipe and you will be able to slide to the bottom. At the bottom, turn on your 
    night vision, so you can see where to go and find the next spot you have to 
    squeeze through. Put your back up to the wall again and walk to the end and 
    you should see a guard near you. You should be able to lean out and kill him
    with your pistol. There is also another guard shooting computers in the area
    so do what you can to kill him. Hide both the bodies and then run into the 
    next room and you should find a red computer. 
    
    Use this and when Lambert and Grim are finished talking, run over to the door
    and open it and you will be able to save.

    When you start again, there is two rooms on your left. The first will be a 
    storage room with a medical kit and the second will lead to a set of stairs.
    Quietly go up to the top of the stairs and wait in the shadows. There is two 
    guards in the next room. Turn on your thermal goggles and you will be able to 
    see where the two guards are a lot easier. From the stairs, kill one and the
    other will run over to the dead body, and you can kill him too. Do not run into
    the room just yet, because there is a camera on the left side of the room. 
    Shoot this out before proceeding to hide the bodies of the two guards. Run into 
    the next room and you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Now be very quiet. There is two guards sleeping on some beds in the next room
    and the slightest noise will walk them up. You can kill them if you want, but
    there is no need. But if you do kill them, there is a medical kit next to the
    bed that you can get. Slowly sneak into the next room. In here run over to the
    door and use the optic cable and you will see two guards walk over to a keypad
    and use it.
    
    What you can do is sneak in behind the guards before the door shuts so that
    you don't have to enter the code, but if you don't you are going to have to
    use your thermal goggles. Turn them on and then use the keypad and you should
    be able to see lots of colours. This is how it works. The colours are based on 
    heat. So if they are black they haven't been touched, if they are blue, they 
    were first and if it was red or yellow, then they were last. This is a four
    code door, so this is how you enter the code. The light blue is first, then 
    darker blue. After this there is yellow and last is red, because this is 
    hottest. It may take a couple of times to get right, but here is the code is
    you can get it right, 1436.
    
    Open the door and use it as cover. There is an automated gun next to the door
    and a guard behind that. Wait for the gun to be looking away, before slipping 
    past and shooting the guard, without anyone noticing. Hide the body of the
    guard and then turn off the gun.

    Surfer67R writes: This is in reference to "The Embassy II." As far as the room 
    full of automated guns goes, I have found an easier, less lethal way of 
    getting around those two upper level guns... After you get past the lower gun 
    and kill the guard, climb up onto the wooden self or closet(whatever you call
    it) next to the wall. After you climb up it you can jump up and grab the broken 
    ledge behind wall and pull yourself up behind the autogun, then wait for the 
    guard and then you can disarm the gun without risking very precious life 
    points.

    J.F. writes: I am currently in the process of playing Tom Clancy's Splinter 
    Cell and I found an easier way of getting around in the Chinese Embassy 2 
    level. After the first keypad door, you can climb onto the shelves next to the 
    first turret. You can then jump onto the walkway behind the other turret so you
    can deactivate it without being sensed.

    Next run up the stairs and when it splits in two, go up the left set, because
    up the top of the right is another automated gun. Up top of the left, look
    down the hall and you should see yet another automated gun at the end. Wait 
    for it to look away, before making a made dash to get behind it. Deactivate
    it and then get out your gun and look down the end of the hall. A guard should 
    come around from there so kill him, while he is in the shadows, so you don't 
    have to hide the body. 
    
    Now, while you are still behind the automated gun, look around for a broken 
    ledge. Above this you should see a pipe that goes behind some flags that are
    hanging. Jump up onto this and swing across so that you are behind one of the
    flags. Two Guards should come and one will go through the door and the colonel
    will stay. Wait for him to have his back to you, before swinging out over to
    him. Lift Sam's legs up so that you can get past the railing.
    
    Now this part can be tricky. It is very hard, or near impossible to land with
    out making a noise here, so before you drop down, get your Ring Airfoil Rounds
    and SC-20K out and ready. Then, when you drop down, the colonel should turn
    around. Here shoot him with a Ring Airfoil (make sure its not in the head) and
    he should sway for a bit. This is your chance. Run behind him and grab him.
    Now walk him over to the retinal scanner by the door and make him use it. 
    The door should open, so walk him into the next room, and shoot out the light.
    Then just knock the colonel out so that he is hidden in the shadows. 
    
    Run to the next door and you should see another guard. Kill him and then hide
    the body in the previous room. Then run back in here and use the computer, 
    before going to the back on the room. Look for the window that is open a little
    and slide it open and drop down, and you will be able to save again.

    Bosco Domenico writes: I have a suggestion you might want to add to your faq: 
    When in the Chinese Embassy, Fisher has to grab somebody in order to have this 
    somebody perform a retinal scan. You are laying behind the flags, the door 
    opens and then you have to jump off to the ground and you write that it is 
    impossible to make no noise and hence you suggest to shoot the guy with a 
    plastic bullet or something then grab him and have the retinal scan done. I 
    actually found this way hard and got it done this other way. When you push 
    triangle to land you might want to try and push circle so when you land you 
    won't make the little noise and guy doesn't turn. So just crouch, the slower 
    the better, grab the fella and have the retinal scan done.

    |Splinter Cell: The Two Trucks|

    In this next area, there is a dog, do be very careful. Run over to the corner
    where the roads and tree is. Here, get out your SC-20K and zoom in and look 
    through the arched doorway, over at the bridge. Wait until a guard walks by 
    there and kill him when you get the chance. Now run forward into the archway 
    and look of you left for a dog. When you find him, kill it because it will 
    attack you and kill you quite quickly. Next, turn on your thermal goggles and
    use your SC-20K to look around the area for the second guard. When you find
    him, kill him to and then run over and hide the two bodies. The water is a
    good spot to do this. Also, don't worry about hiding the dogs body, because 
    you can't pick in up.

    ~B~ writes: In Regards to your splinter cell walk through, in particular, the 
    "guard dog" scenario in "Embassy II"; I have found that after eliminating the 
    first guard, you can hide to the left of the archway before passing through it. 
    The dog then picks up on your scent and enters the outer courtyard alone, where 
    a sticky shocker, and 10,000 volts makes little work of this four legged 
    nuisance.

    When you have done this, run over to the bridge and you should see a door next 
    to one, in the corner of the area. Run over to this and open in, and then 
    run inside. Open another door that is in here and walk out a bit and you will
    see a guard on a platform and there is also a camera close to him. Shoot out
    the camera and then quickly kill the curious guard also before he sees you. 
    Don't worry about hiding his body, but instead, shoot out the two lights, 
    before doing through the door on the top of the platform. Here you will pass
    a checkpoint.
    
    Run over to the lockers and near them you will find a medical kit. Once you 
    have this, you will have to be quick so that you don't miss the trucks. Run
    through the door and you will be in a storage room. Run through all the 
    shelves and when you cant go any further, look for and empty shelf and jump
    up on it. When you are up here, kill the guard that is walking at the other 
    end of the room. Now walk along the shelves and jump down when you are next
    to some stairs. Climb up these onto the small platform and run over to the 
    door. This is a keypad locked door and you will need to use your thermal 
    goggles to enter in the code. The code is 9753 (at least I think). 
    
    Run through and make sure to hide the body of the guard (you can just shoot 
    out the light that is above the door to do this). Run back into the next room
    and you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    In this room you will find some ammo for both guns as well as a medical kit.
    When you are about to go into the next room, be careful because the is a 
    camera above the door and two guards patrolling around. When you can do is
    stand in the door and let a guard see you so he will come to investigate. 
    Now run back into your small room and shoot out the light. Then just wait 
    for the guard to come in and kill him. This should attract another guard so
    kill him before he can set off the alarm. Then when both guards are dead,
    just shoot out the camera next to the door and run in.
    
    Now run through the maze of shelves and make sure not to be seen by the few
    other cameras in this area. Now just below where the second camera was there
    is a small box. If you climb up onto this, you will be able to jump up and grab
    hold of the top of the shelves. Pull yourself up an Climb onto the catwalk that
    is connected. 
    
    Now walk across this and when you see a cut-scene, be really quick. Also note,
    in the cut-scene, see the gas pump in between the two trucks. This is what you
    will need to shoot. When the cut-scene ends, get up and run until you see the
    two trucks (you will be behind them.) Get out your SC-20K and zoom in on the 
    pump and shoot it and it will explode and destroy the two trucks. 
    
    Now run down the stairs and in to next room you will find some ammo for your
    5.72mm pistol. Run back to the stair and look under them for a trap door. When
    you find it, open it and climb down and you will pass a save point.

    When you start again, run forward and kill the guard that is there. Continue
    running and when you see a guard coming out in front of you, hide in one of the 
    gaps on your right. Wait here and the guard will walk right up to you and then 
    you will hear that the Colonel is trying to kill himself and the guard will
    run off. Follow him but don't make too much noise and be careful when going 
    around a corner because he will eventually stop and enter a code into a door.
    Make sure you wait for the door to shut behind him, before running in. Use 
    your thermal goggles to enter the code (1456). 
    
    Once you have entered the code, wait a bit for the guard's sounds to disappear
    before going through the door and open the door to the elevator. Walk in and
    use the switch to choose to go up. When the elevator gets to the top, you 
    should see the guard go through another key pad door. Run over and enter the
    code, which is 1834. 
    
    Run into the next room and you should remember where you are. Go over to where
    you dropped down from the trap door and use the key pad (7921) to open the 
    door that is there. Now run through the door and pass a checkpoint.
    
    Run forward and go right and you will come to the room where the Colonel is.
    After the cut-scene get out your SC-20K and fire a Ring Airfoil into his 
    chest. Then run over to him and grab him from behind and interrogate him. 
    While he is talking, walk him over to the computer on the desk and make him
    use it. When he has entered in the code, he will pass out and Lambert will
    start talking. When he is finished, run out of the office and go straight at 
    the T-Junction and open the door. Run into the room and when the fire is 
    blocking your path, go through the door on the right of the room. 
    
    Run in here and roll in-between the curtain so that you don't catch on fire.
    Now run behind the railing and through the door and down into the stairway. 
    Run down the stairs until you get to a window. Walk up to it and you should be
    able to slide it open and drop down onto the ground below. Make sure that you
    land on the little ledge below the window and don't jump straight down or you 
    will die. Now run up the stairs and over to the plane/chopper thing and you
    will complete the level.

    Kombayn Nikoladze has returned to the Georgian Presidential Palace in order to
    retrieve a weapon known only as 'The Ark.' The great risk involved in 
    Nikoladze's personal return to T'Bilisi suggests its enormous value. Any threat 
    posed by Nikoladze or The Ark must be dealt with.
    
    Objectives:
    - Recover the Ark Interrogation File. The record if an interrogation conducted 
    by Georgian agents representing current Georgian President Cristavi. The file
    details a interrogation of one of Nikoladze's high-ranking mercenaries,
    possibly revealing the identity of "The Ark."

    When you start, you should see that there is a guard patrolling in front of 
    you and that there is a search light, searching the area. Go left so that you 
    are next to the fence and run forward, not making any noise or being seen. 
    When you find a gap in the fence, run past it and you should see a chimney with
    smoke coming out. You can and will need to rappel down then. Rappel down to the
    bottom into the sewers and as soon as you land, turn on your thermal goggles.
    If you look down the pipe, you should see red lines flashing. These are trip
    wires and if you set one off, you will fail the level. Also remember that you
    can not set one alarm off in this level so you are going to have to be very 
    careful. 
    
    Run forward to the two lasers that are diagonal, and as soon as they switch
    off, run past them, before they come back on. Run to the end of the pipe and
    go right and you will come to some more lasers. Once is high and the other 
    low and they will change at different times. Wait for the low one to go off 
    before running past it. You can the crouch and run under the higher one, 
    without having to wait for it to go off. 
    
    At the end, go left and you will see another laser. This is very low and won't
    switch off. Loom above you on the roof and you should see a pipe. Jump up and
    grab onto it and then lift Sam's legs up so that they don't touch the wire. 
    Once they are up, crawl over it and jump down on the other side, being careful
    not to lower your legs onto the laser. The next laser you can run straight 
    under, but the one after that is a lot harder. This laser is switching on and
    off very fast, so as soon as it turns off, run past as quick as you can but
    make sure to stop straight away on the other side, because there is a wall
    mine just past that.
    
    Sneak up on this and deactivate it before running past. Run to the end where 
    the steam is and climb up the ladder that is there. You will need to jump up 
    to get it, but once you are at the top, you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    Now turn on your thermal goggles and climb to the top of the ladder. Here, 
    fire a Diversion Camera and fire it in between the gap where the stairs are
    and the entrance to the Hedge Maze. If you did it right, then the camera 
    should go through the entrance into the maze. Here, make a few sounds to 
    attract the guard over and when he is near it, set off the gas. Now for the 
    dog. Now sneak into the maze and if you look over where the guard is, you 
    should see the dog wandering around. You can kill him with a shot to the head. 
    You shouldn't have to hide the body because it should already be in the dark. 
    
    Now from the start of the maze, go left and go to the end. Here get out your
    Camera Jammer. You may have to use your binoculars, but you should be able to 
    see camera that can't be destroyed. Get out the Jammer and to use it press R1
    (the fire button) and aim at the camera. Now walk under it and the camera will
    not be able to see you. When you are under the camera, let the Jammer recharge
    before going down the path that is in front of the camera. 
    
    Now be careful and look around until you find another camera. Here you can 
    just shoot out the light that is next to the camera and run past. Now run into
    the next courtyard, with the fountain and run into one of the corners so that
    you are in the shadows. Now look around for the main gate and you should see
    a camera next to it. This is where you have to get. Get out the Camera Jammer
    and use it so that you can walk up to the fence. When you are up against the
    fence, run over to the key pad and enter the code 2126. 
    
    Open the door and run past and go left. Go down some small steps and you should
    see a vent on the side of the wall. Open this and you will pass a save point.

    Cool. You are now allowed to set of three alarms before mission failure so
    that will take a lot of stress off for now. 
    
    Now run next to the stairs and you should find a Disposable Pick and at the
    top, a medical kit that is on a desk. When you have both of these, run through
    the door that is at the top of the stairs. In here, turn on your thermal 
    goggles and you should see a laser grid around some pillars. Stand in the 
    shadows, opposite this and wait for a bit until the grid gets turned off. Still
    wait and, two guards should come through the door. You should be able to kill
    both of them as they come through the door and see you. Another guard should 
    come, so kill him as well otherwise he will sound an alarm. Firing a Smoke 
    Grenade should also work in taking all three if the guards out too. 
    
    When all three guards are dead, run into the next room and look up on the roof.
    Here you should see two chandelier, each with 5 lights on them. Shoot out all
    10 of the lights to send the room into darkness and then you will be able to
    hide the bodies next to the stairs. 
    
    Once the bodies are hidden, run to the bottom of the stairs, but don't go up 
    them. If you turn on your thermal goggles, you should see that there is a laser
    trip wire at the bottom and top of the stairs. To get past the one at the 
    bottom, just walk close to the railing and you should walk up and be able to 
    jump over the rail to get onto the stairs. Then jump up and grab onto the
    railing above you and pull yourself up and go through the door.
    
    Now go through the door that is in front of you and you will need to use the
    lock pick to open it. Once you have opened it, run inside and get the 
    disposable pick and medical kit that are on the table. When you have these, 
    leave the room and run down the hall and you will pass a checkpoint. Go through
    the door and there should be a guard standing in front of you at the top of 
    some stairs. If he is not there, then he will be at the bottom. Kill him and
    make sure that it is in one shot. Now look on the platform above you and you
    should see another guard patrolling up there, so kill him too. 
    
    Now instead of hiding the bodies, just shoot out all the lights that are on
    the huge chandelier. 
    
    Now don't bother going down stairs, but instead, make your way to the top, 
    where one of the special forces guards were. Run past him and at the end is a
    door with a key pad. Enter the code, 70021, and continue through into the next
    room and you will pass a checkpoint. 
    
    In this next room, shoot out all the lights you can see. Then run down to where
    the stairs are and if you look down the hall, you should see a guard (try using
    your TG or NVG to see better). Try and make a noise so that the other two 
    guards will come. Run back to where you entered to room and kill the guards
    as they come from around the corner. There is three altogether, so make sure
    that they are all dead. 
    
    Now run to the end of the hall and go left into a little passage near the end. 
    Here is a camera looking around and it can't be destroyed, so shoot out the 
    light so that it can't see you. Now run past the camera and at the end there
    is a locked door, so open it with the lock picks. 
    
    Run into the next room and before you do anything, turn on your thermal goggles
    and you should be able to see some more laser trip wires. (well a lot of them
    actually.) You will also pass a checkpoint.
    
    The first beam will stay on, so you will have to crouch to pass under it. 
    Just after this is three beams that turn on and off at the same time and another 
    constant beam you can crouch under. These beams switch slowly, but act quick to
    get to the end. 
    
    Now going right, is two beams, one high and one low, but above each other.
    The bottom one never changes and the top one will switch on and off. Here, you
    have to wait for the top beam to turn off, before jumping over the bottom one.
    
    Well, that's all of them, for now. You will now be in an office with a table in
    the middle and should hear a guard talking sneak around the table until you
    can get a good shot at the guard and kill him. Shoot out a light to hide the 
    body and then go over and use the red computer that is on the table. Here
    Lambert will tell you that The Ark is a nuclear suitcase bomb. Once you have
    heard this, run through the door into the next room and get the medical kit
    that is on the table. 
    
    Now for a hard part. You have to go back through the laser beam area. Do this
    and then go back past the camera to where there is some double doors. Open the
    doors and a guard should come over, so shoot out a light and stay in the 
    shadows so that you can kill him. 
    
    Shoot out both the lights in this room, so that you can get past the camera 
    that is in the middle of the room. Once you have done that, you will be able 
    to run past it and go through the double doors on the left. Once you open
    them, you will pass a save point.

    Clay Cooper writes: Just wanted to give you another way of doing this part of 
    the game: (so you don't have to search its the last mission searching for the 
    interrogation files)
    
    Once the bodies are hidden, run to the bottom of the stairs, but don't go up 
    them. If you turn on your thermal goggles, you should see that there is a 
    laser trip wire at the bottom and top of the stairs. To get past the one at 
    the bottom, just walk close to the railing and you should walk up and be able 
    to jump over the rail to get onto the stairs. Then jump up and grab onto the
    railing above you and pull yourself up and go through the door.
    
    There's a box on the wall in front of the stairway. You can jump on it and grab 
    the edge and maneuver around and over the beam then jump down and jump over 
    the railing like you said.

    When you start again, run forward to the next double door and open it. You 
    should also notice the two dead guards on the floor. I smell a double cross.
    In the next room, sneak in and shoot out the first light you see. Now look 
    around for a patrolling guard and kill him too. Also, make sure to get the 
    satchel that he drops because it will contain some SC-20K ammo. Continue down 
    the hall shooting out any light you see. When you come to a room there is a 
    civilian in there so knock him out instead of killing him. After this, go down 
    the set of stairs and when you enter the next room you will be spotted. Be 
    prepared for an all out fire fight.
    
    Run back to the stairs for cover and then edge out until you can see a guard.
    Once you have spotted one, kill them. There is three altogether, so make sure
    you kill all of them. There is usually two next to the stairs and then another
    wandering around somewhere. Once they are all dead, hide the bodies. Then when
    you are ready, go through one of the doors that are under the stairs. You will
    be able to tell if you are in the right area because the walls will be made
    out of stone. Make your way down the stairs until you are in the basement. 
    Here you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Down here in the basement be very careful not to make any noise, because 
    Nikoladze is in here. But don't worry because he is unarmed and won't shoot,
    just run away. It is also a good idea to shoot out lights as you go because 
    this makes it harder for Nikoladze to spot you, however, staying in existing
    shadows is a lot easier. When you get the chance, run up and grab him. Once 
    you have done this, begin to interrogate him. When he is finished talking, drag
    him over to the back of the room and you should find a retinal scanner there.
    Make Nikoladze use the scanner and as you do, some of Cristavi's men will 
    show up. 
    
    Once Nikoladze goes, you will be held hostage. Here DO NOT MOVE AT ALL. If you 
    even try to move, you will be shot to a pulp. Make sure you have your night 
    vision on because Lambert has organised for a black out in five seconds. While 
    you are waiting, get your SC-20K ready and turn on your night vision. Look
    around to see where the other two guards are and then get ready and look over
    at the guard next to you, so that when the power goes off, you can get out your 
    gun and already be looking at him. Still not moving, the guard will count down 
    and as he gets to two, the power will go off. Now's your chance, quickly get out
    your gun and kill the guard with a head shot. Now if you are quick enough, you 
    should be able to sniper one of the other guards and kill him too. Then just run
    off and hide behind a crate for cover. Now you can get into a good spot and kill
    the last guard. 
    
    After you kill all three guards, grab the satchels they drop. Run back out of 
    the basement and you will be told to kill Nikoladze. Run back into the last 
    room you were in and there will be a guard in there, so kill him. Then look
    for a double door and open it and you will be able to save.

    Yes, we're on the home stretch. 
    When you start up again, you will be in a courtyard and see Nikoladze being 
    escorted away. Make sure you stay in the shadows. There is a guard on your
    right so kill him as well as the guard that is on the second floor. Now run 
    over to the window that you saw in the cut-scene and you should see a pipe 
    next to the window. Climb to the top of the pipe and here you should be able
    to drop down and grab onto the ledge of the window. Then just pull yourself
    up and climb into the hall. If you need some ammo, there is some ammo for 
    both guns on the ledge. Get them and then zoom in on Nikoladze, who is in the 
    window. You should be able to kill him in one shot, in fact, you don't want 
    to miss.
    
    Now its time to get out of the palace. There is a door behind you, however,
    get out of the way because a guard will come out, so kill him when he comes 
    out. Now run through the door the came from, and you will pass a checkpoint.
    
    Now run down the hall and down the stairs, into the dining and sniper the
    guard that is patrolling around there. Now, run down the dining hall to the 
    back and open the double doors that are there and Congratulations, you have 
    just finished Splinter Cell and get to watch the end cut-scene. Oh, and I also
    recommend that you save here too.

    Q: When I start the Kalinatek mission everything works out fine. After I 
    neutralize the two guards and enter the stairway where the power cuts off I 
    walk slowly up the stairs. Next thing I hear is a can dropping and suddenly 
    the guards in the next room (the room where the power turns on and off) start 
    shooting at the door like they know that I am there. I have repeated the 
    mission about 3 times and each time this happens, I don't see a can on the 
    stairway while I'm walking so how do they know that I am there?
    
    A: This always happened to me as well. They will always see you, even though 
    it is pitch dark, so you best bet  is to hide behind the counter and they 
    won't be able to hit you. Also instead of using your night vision goggles, I 
    have found that it is easier to spot the guards if you use your Thermal 
    Goggles.

    Q: Hi. I would first like to thank you for the informative guide on Splinter 
    Cell. I enjoy being able to get through the tough parts of this game. I do 
    have a question. On the part labeled, "Nikoladze's Computer", when you go 
    through the small closet there is a ladder. After you open the hatch and 
    make your way onto the rooftop, you have to rappel. There is a glass window 
    and when you look inside, there is a guy standing there. Every time I 
    rappel I go right through the window, shattering it, and then, after which, 
    I am shot and killed by that guy. How do I get through this window without 
    the way I have been doing it? If you could reply to this email I would be 
    deeply appreciative. Thank you for your time.
    
    A: It may be breaking because you are jumping down. Try just walking down and
    see if that helps. You will also want to have your feet on the wall below
    the glass so when you get to shooting him, you will be able to shoot him and
    not fall through the glass.

    Q: I am at the Defense Ministry level, level 2, ready to go into the parking 
    lot to get the driver. After I open the door and shot the camera up front, I 
    start walking but however, when I pass the second pillar, the alarm got 
    tripped. Is there something I am not doing or doing? Is there another camera 
    around?
    
    A: Yes there is another camera that sees you. Once you have shot out the first 
    camera, run over to the turn and hide in the shadows behind the car. Now from
    here look around the walls for the camera.

    A: You press either L3 or R3 (this is the anolog sticks pressed in) and they
