Hi everyone! This is my fifth walkthrough for gamefaqs.com. As I am
human, I’m sure there will be mistakes in this guide. If you happen to

If you use this guide to find all the Precursor Orbs, I suggest 
starting
from the very beginning and following it through to the end. They are
ordered in the order that they can be obtained, so it might be 
confusing
if you are missing a certain one.

I use Microsoft Word on all of my guides and ever since I’ve updated 
it, I can’t seem to quite reorder my older guides. I apologize now for 
the messed up formatting in this guide. If anyone can tell me how to 
fix it, I would be very grateful!

2.2 – Weapons

Unlike the first game, you gain the use of the Morph-Gun. You can earn
different upgrades and different types of guns to use throughout the
game. There are four types of guns that can be used.

Scatter Gun – The Scatter Gun is rather slow, but a single shockwave 
can
damage more than one enemy.

Blaster Weapon – This gun has a laser pointer to show you where you 
will
fire.

Vulcan Fury – This gun has a laser pointer also, but it has rapid-fire
capabilities, allowing you to hold down R1 to fire multiple shots.

Peace Maker – Although it can only use 5 ammo (upgraded to 10 later),
when the shot hits an enemy, it will spread to nearby enemies, damaging
them as well.

2.3 – Zoomers

There are several vehicles you can use throughout the game, but the 
main
ones you’ll be using are Zoomers. There are different types available
throughout Haven City. If you want to use one, you can find one not
occupied or you can hijack a flying one by standing underneath it and
pressing Triangle.

Single-Seat Zoomers – These vehicles can only hold one passenger, but
they can go faster than two-seat Zoomers. However, they can take a less
amount of damage before they explode than the two-seat ones.

Two-Seat Zoomers – These vehicles can hold two passengers, but they are
slower than the single-seat Zoomers. They can take more damage than a
Single-Seat Zoomer.

Krimzon Guard Zoomers – There are two types of these: the HellCat
Cruisers and the single-seat Zoomers. They both can shoot so you don’t
have to use your Morph-Gun, but the HellCat Cruisers are big and slow
while the single-seat Zoomers are vulnerable.

2.4 – Items

These items will help you out throughout the game.

Krimzon Guard Crates – Break these open to find the item inside. These
can contain Health Packs, Dark Eco, and Ammunition.

Health Packs – The gray boxes with green plus signs on them will return
two bars to your health meter.

Dark Eco – When Jak stores up enough Dark Eco, he can transform into
Dark Jak.

Ammunition – The ammunition provides ammo for the different modes of 
the
Morph-Gun: Red – Scatter Gun, Yellow – Blaster Weapon, Blue – Vulcan
Fury, Purple – Peace Maker

Metal Head Skull Gems – These can be traded in to the Oracle to learn
Dark Jak’s abilities.

Precursor Orbs – Unlike the first game, the Precursor Orbs are rare. If
you find enough, you can unlock extras in the Secrets menu.

2.5 – Dark Jak

This game introduces the ability to turn into Dark Jak. When the Dark
Eco Meter is full, press L2 to transform. Dark Jak can attack faster 
and
hit multiple enemies in the process. Also, if you trade in Metal Head
Skull Gems to the Oracle, Jak will learn different abilities he can
perform while Dark Jak:

25 Metal Head Skull Gems: Dark Bomb (X + Square)
200 Metal Head Skull Gems: Dark Blast (Square + X)
200 Metal Head Skull Gems: Dark Jak Invincibility (no buttons required)
100 Metal Head Skull Gems: Dark Giant (Press L2 while Dark Jak)

Note: You can only obtain the ability if you’ve already gotten the one
before it. For example, you can’t get Dark Blast until you have gotten
Dark Bomb.

3.0 – The Walkthrough

Well, here it is! The main part of the guide. I hope it helps you out 
in
any tight spot you may have. Enjoy!

Just a note on how the walkthrough is set up: There will be numbers in
parentheses scattered throughout the guide. These are meant to direct
you to the Precursor Orb Locations box for that section. You do not 
have
to find them to complete the game.

3.1 – Act 1

This section of the walkthrough covers the missions in Act 1.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
3.1.A – Escape from Fortress

After the intro scene, you’ll be in control of Jak. (#1) From your
starting point, go right and follow the path until your find a couple 
of
stacked crates. Jump through the square archway and make your way
through the darkness. Daxter will tell you how to roll. Jump through 
the
next archway to set off an alarm. (#2)

After you cross through, look to the left to find more stacked crates.
Use them to get up to the next ledge. Daxter will tell you how to 
Double
Jump. Press X and then X again while in the air to get to the high
platform. Cross through the next archway.

In this room, Daxter will tell you about Krimzon Guard Crates. Break 
the
crates with either Circle or Square and collect the Dark Eco and the
Health Pack. Jump across the series of platforms and wait for the 
moving
one to get down to you. Ride it up and jump to the next ledge. Hold 
down
L1 and jump to the high ledge. Follow the path until you meet the
Krimzon Guard. Press Circle or Square to attack him. You will need to
hit him two times to defeat him. Continue along onto the moving 
platform
and to the next area after that. (#3) Break the crates for a Health 
Pack
and Dark Eco. Next, you will come across a pole jutting out from the
wall. Jump onto it to start swinging. Jump off of it when Jak is in the
top part of his swing. Head onto the next moving platform. Rotate the
camera to see an opening in the wall. Go in there and fight off the two
Krimzon Guards.

When you approach the large gap, Daxter tells you how to perform the
Rolling Turbo Long Jump. (#4) Use the rolling jump to get across the
next two gaps.

In the next room, you will be shot at from below. Just keep moving to
avoid getting hit. You can also hide behind one of the computers to
avoid the fire. (#5) When you make it to the other side of the room, 
you
will find a grate you can dive into to break. Stand on it and press X.
While in the air, press Square to fall down to the next area. (#6)

Follow the path and jump into the next room. There are two Krimzon
Guards in this room. They have their backs to you, so attack them from
behind (It’s also fun to listen to what they have to say! :P). Crash
down through the grate and slide down the slide to find yourself in a
room with some water in it. Make your way over to the dry land. (#7)
(#8) Use the stacked boxes to climb up to the ledge on the right wall.
Use another box to hop up onto the last ledge and jump out of the
fortress.

|#1 – Start facing away from the chair where Jak was injected with    |
|     Dark Eco. Walk to the right a bit and turn the camera to see an |
|     Orb sitting on top of a ledge. Use the stacked crates to get on |
|     the upper ledge to reach it.                                    |
|#2 – After you learn how to roll and go through the archway that sets|
|     off the alarm, turn the camera to the right to see the Orb up on|
|     a set of shelves. Double Jump or crouch and jump to reach it.   |
|#3 – In the room where you find the first Krimzon Guard Crates and   |
|     Krimzon Guards. After you fight the second guard, you can find  |
|     on top of the blinking computer right next to your location.    |
|#4 – When Daxter tells you how to perform the Rolling Turbo Long     |
|     Jump, fall down the first gap to find the Orb.                  |
|#5 – In the room where Krimzon Guards shoot at you from below, find  |
|     the computer with enough room for you to jump behind. If you can|
|     find it, you will find the Orb.                                 |
|#6 – After you smash through the first crate, search behind the      |
|     columns in the room below to find the Orb.                      |
|#7 – In the room with the water in it, find the two Krimzon Guard    |
|     Crates on the dry ground. Drop into the water right behind them |
|     to find the Orb.                                                |
|#8 – In the room with the water in it, make your way through the     |
|     water and to the other side of the room. You should see an      |
|     alcove high up in the wall. Use the stacked crates to get inside|
|     and grab the last Orb in this area. You probably will have to   |
|     Double Jump and then spin while in the air to land in the       |
|     alcove.                                                         |

3.1.B – Protect Kor and Kid

You will find yourself in Haven City. Follow the path until you meet 
Kor
and the Kid. After the scene, Jak has to fight off some Krimzon Guards.
When you defeat the first three, Jak will transform into Dark Jak. Keep
attacking so as to not let the Krimzon Guards get a chance to attack.
Afterwards, take Kor’s advice and follow the icon on the city map to
find Torn. The icon is a picture of a sword. You can hijack a Zoomer to
make the trip faster. I personally prefer the lower Hover Zone because
you can avoid traffic. However, if you hit a Krimzon Guard, all of the
guards will come after you. They will try to attack you and turrets 
will
appear in different sections of the city. They shoot at you, so keep
moving to avoid any attacks. If you don’t want to hit a guard, quickly
press R2, fly over the guard, and then press R2 again to switch back to
the lower Hover Zone. Find Torn and Tess and watch the scene.

3.1.C – Retrieve Banner from Dead Town

Follow the icon on the map to make your way to Dead Town. Head inside
the chamber and enter Dead Town.

You cannot get any Precursor Orbs yet, so don’t worry about them right
now.

First, walk across the path and take out the green enemy here. Jump
across the brown water and fight the next two enemies. Do no touch the
water, as it will damage Jak. Quickly jump across the two wooden
platforms in the water. The new enemy here requires two hits to take
down, and, after the first hit, it will shoot its tongue at you, so
watch out. Cross the stone bridge and fight the two enemies here. Climb
up the stone ledges to reach the next path.

Follow the stone ledge and jump up the higher one to continue. Follow 
it
to the lower ledge and fight the enemies here as well. Break the two
Krimzon Guard Crates and continue along the path, taking out the next
enemy. Go right and then left to find more of the critters walking
around. Take them out and jump up the set of stone ledges.

Quickly cross the bridge to avoid falling down into the muck below. The
next series of ledges are a mix between stable ones and crumbling ones,
so keep moving to avoid falling. You will also have to swing on the
poles here to reach the next platform, so just keep climbing until you
reach the top. Hop up the steps and walk to the banner for a scene.

From your location, hop up the ledges to reach a stone path. Walk off
the path and onto the ground below. Make your way all the way back to
the beginning of Dead Town and enter and exit the chamber to find
yourself back in Haven City. Follow the icon on the map to reach the
Underground hideout. It is hidden behind the section of the wall with
the green circle on it. Go inside and watch the scene to receive your
next mission.

3.1.D – Find Pumping Station Valve

Leave the hideout and follow the icon on the map to the Pumping 
Station.
Enter the chamber and exit to find yourself in the Pumping Station. In
the first area, you will encounter your first Metal Heads. Defeat them
and collect the Metal Head Skull Gems. (#9)(#10) Ride up the rising and
falling platforms to the high ledge and defeat the two enemies.

Jump over to the sandy ledge and then onto the big, hollow pipe. (#11)
(#12)(#13)  Jump to the next ledge to find three enemies and two 
Krimzon
Guard Crates. There is a rotating pipe ahead and you don’t want to fall
to the ground below. Wait until the pipe has finished rotating to jump
onto it. If you are on it when it is going to rotate, jump straight up
(listen for the little shaking sound to know when to jump). Defeat the
Metal Head and head across the bridge, jumping over the moving electric
fence. Fight off the enemies and ride the moving platforms up so you 
can
jump across to the next ledge.

Jump to the next sandy ledge to find two enemies and a Metal Head.
Defeat them all and go across the bridge with two electric fences.
Double Jump to make it over them. Defeat the enemies and continue along
to face more enemies. Jump up the metal ledges and quickly cross the
next rotating pipe. Jump to the grassy/sandy ledge and then on to the
next ledge. You will come across a slanted bridge. Climb up it, follow
the path while defeating the two Metal Heads, and watch the scene when
you find the valve. Walk back across the beach and leave the Pumping
Station to go back to Haven City. (#14) (#15)

|#9 – In the area where you first encounter Metal Heads, look for the |
|     large pipe dripping water. Squeeze into the area to the left of |
|     it to find the Orb.                                             |
|#10 – In the area where you first encounter Metal Heads, go all the  |
|      way to the left on the sandy ground to find in the Orb in the  |
|      water.                                                         |
|#11 – After you ride the first rising platform and jump onto the     |
|      sandy ledge, jump down into the hollow pipe to find the Orb.   |
|#12 – Below the pipe mentioned above, follow the sandy beach to the  |
|      right of the cliff. Stay to the right of the cliff and keep    |
|      along the edge to find the Orb.                                |
|#13 – From the location of the Orb above, swim to the closest island |
|      with the windmill. Climb the rocks to find the Orb.            |
|#14 – After you find the valve, follow the same path you did to reach|
|      it until your reach the slanted bridge. Continue until you come|
|      face-to-face with the two Metal Heads right after it. Fall to  |
|      metal platforms to the right of the sandy ledges. Fight off the|
|      two Metal Heads and jump down to the left of the metal         |
|      platforms into the closed-in pool with some rocks. The Orb is  |
|      there.                                                         |
|#15 – From the location of the last Orb, jump out of the pool and    |
|      onto the beach with all the Metal Heads and other enemies.     |
|      Fight them all off and run across the rest of the beach area to|
|      find a metal ramp. Walk up it and follow the path to the next  |
|      two Metal Heads. After you defeat them, jump down into the     |
|      water to the left of the bridge you’re on (facing the exit to  |
|      Haven City) to find the last Precursor Orb in the Pumping      |
|      Station.                                                       |

After you finish this mission, the first Underground Mission in Haven
City becomes available. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations section
for details. (#16, #17, #18)

3.1.E – Go to the Oracle

For this mission, simply follow the icon on the map to the building 
with
the Oracle inside. Approach it and watch the scene. Afterwards, leave
the building and follow the map back to Torn. Watch the scene upon your
arrival to receive your next mission.

3.1.F – Blow up Ammo at Fortress

Follow the red icon on the map and enter the Fortress. Break the 
Krimzon
Guard Crates next to the tank and walk between the two blue poles. This
will activate the tank. You can’t stand still, so keep moving to stay
out of the red crosshairs. Also, stay away from the tank to avoid
damage. In the first area, you must quickly cross the platforms to 
avoid
the shots fired by the tank. When the tank breaks through the glass, it
becomes a bit hard to see. Keep moving forward, avoiding any gaps as
well as the red lasers projected by the weapons. If you step into one,
they will shoot at you.

Once you reach the end of the room, head left and jump on top of the
boxes. Use the pole to swing into the next room. The tank will break
through and continue to try to shoot you. Jump onto the rotating
platform and then into the middle to break the glass. Do this with the
next glass to turn off the electric fence. Go into the next room the
fence was blocking.

Grab the Krimzon Guard Crate items and make your way through the room,
jumping across the floating platforms and taking out any Krimzon Guard
that gets in your way. Towards the end of the room, you will encounter
some spikes. Time your jumps according to the spikes to make it safely
across and take out the rest of the guards. Break through the grate (X 
+
square).

Ride across the conveyer belt, jump across the moving platforms, climb
the crates, and ride across the last conveyer belt to find another 
room.
Enter and watch the scene. You’ll receive the Red Security Pass and
learn a bit about the Baron’s scheme. For this part of the mission, you
have to stand beside the round things jutting out from the cylinder in
the center of the room. This will bring the tank’s crosshairs onto them
so that they will get destroyed. There are four of these on the
cylinder. After all four are blown up, run over to the exit of the
fortress before your ten seconds are up. Just as you exit, the place
blows up. Good job! Follow the map back to the hideout and approach 
Torn
to receive your next mission.

3.1.G – Make delivery to Hip Hog Saloon

Exit the hideout and hop on the Zoomer in the beam of light. The bar at
the top represents your progress to the Hip Hog Saloon, not the damage
your Zoomer has taken (like I thought at first...). Follow the wine
glass icon on the map. No matter which Hover Zone you fly in, the 
guards
will eventually become suspicious and start to chase you. Keep moving!

Continue to follow the rather confusing pathways. On your way, you will
encounter two Krimzon Guard roadblocks. Stay in the lower Hover Zone 
and
keep moving to avoid taking too much let alone any damage. Continue 
into
the Port. I suggest driving over the water to avoid a lot of Krimzon
Guard vehicles and guards while you make your way to the saloon. If you
are flying above the water, you have to switch to the upper Hover Zone
to reach the Saloon. When you are near the entrance, Jak will
automatically jump off, so watch the scene inside to meet Krew and Sig
and get the Scatter Gun.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
3.1.H – Beat Scatter Gun Course

You know the drill. Head on over to the icon and enter. Walk towards 
the
crates to get a short tutorial on how to use the Scatter Gun. When
prompted, press R1 to fire the Scatter Gun. Put the gun away by 
pressing
the up arrow on the D-pad. Take it back out with the same button or by
shooting again with R1. Collect the ammo to get the capacity of the gun
back up to 50. Then, approach the door and press X to start the Scatter
Gun Course.

When you enter, you will hear Sig tell you about the different targets.
There are two score-giving targets: the blue robots and the gold 
robots.
Shoot the gold ones for extra points. Also, the large, blue robots that
look like they have horns coming from their heads take two hits to 
kill.
DO NOT SHOOT THE CIVILIANS, as points will be deducted from your score.
You could even physically attack the targets by punching them or
spinning them. You still get points! Be sure to complete the course 
with
a grand score of at least 3000 points. If you score 8000 points or 
more,
you can get 3 Precursor Orbs. However, in the unlikely event that you
score more than 10,000 points, you can get another 3 and likewise if 
you
score more than 12,000. (#19-#27) (See the Other Precursor Orb 
Locations
section for more details.) Note that the faster you hit a target, the
more points you’ll be awarded and if you hit certain targets, the gold
ones will appear.

Completing this mission will activate another kiosk in town, allowing
you to earn more Precursor Orbs. (#28, #29, #30) See the Other 
Precursor
Orb Locations section for more details on this challenge.

After you have finished the course and anything else you may have 
wanted
to do, follow the icon back to the saloon and watch the scene for your
next mission.

3.1.I – Protect Sig at Pumping Station

Grab a Zoomer and drive all the way back to the Pumping Station. Enter
to find Sig already waiting for you. Take out the first group of 
enemies
on the beach area. Follow Sig up the rising platforms and finish off 
the
next two. He will charge the Peacemaker. When he’s done, he will blast 
a
way through the large metal... thing blocking the way.

For the next two Metal Heads, Sig will stay behind. Watch out for their
red electricity beams. Either shoot them or just physically attack 
them.
Go ahead of Sig and lower the bridge by just jumping on it. Fight off
any of the enemies that Sig didn’t take out yet. Once you cross the
bridge, you will find the first Metal Head for Sig to kill. He will
charge up the Peacemaker. Your job is to keep the enemies back until he
is finished. If you shoot the enemies just as they start to jump, they
should fall back, making you only use one shot.

Continue across the next beach area, fighting off any enemies. Do not
let them attack Sig too much, or else his health will run out and you
will have to start the mission all over again. At the end of this area,
you will have to protect Sig once again as he charges up the Peacemaker
for another Metal Head. Keep the enemies back and follow Sig when he’s
done.

Sig will stay behind to fight off some enemies. Go forward along the
path and lower the next bridge. Help him out if it is needed, and press
forward. A short walk will bring you to Sig’s next target. Protect him
again so he can shoot this one down. Follow him across the platforms 
and
to the next beach area. Fight off the enemies here and continue forward
to reach the fourth target.

Follow Sig again to find some more Metal Heads. Halfway through this
wave, the Peacemaker will jam, leaving you to defend yourself and Sig.
After this little battle, Sig will lead the way to the final target.
Protect him once more to finish the mission.

If you did not grab all of the Orbs during the first visit, see section
3.1.A.a for their locations. Also, after you complete this mission, the
next Underground Challenge becomes available. See the Other Precursor
Orb Locations section for more details. (#31, #32, #33)

Once you are ready, leave the Pumping Station. If you have 25 Metal 
Head
Skull Gems or more, go to the Oracle. If not, (you must’ve missed some
or not collected them) go back to Krew.

3.1.J – Go to the Oracle

After completing the Protect Sig at Pumping Station mission, you should
have at least 25 Metal Head Skull Gems. Follow the Haven City Map to 
the
Oracle. Once inside, a scene will play. Afterwards, use X + Square to
activate Dark Bomb. When you are finished, head to the Hip Hog Saloon.
Go inside to receive your mission.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
3.1.K – Destroy Turrets in Sewers

Head through the Industrial District and enter the Sewers. Ride the
elevator down. You can’t grab the Orb in the Sewers just yet, so take
out the three enemies in the first area. Step on the light on the floor
to turn on the lights for the next room. Walk across the side of the
room to find out you’re being shot at. To take out the turret, keep
jumping while moving in a zigzag pattern. When you are close enough,
shoot the turret to destroy it.

In the next room, do not fall in the water, as a critter inside will
attack you. Jump across the platforms to the wall with the metal 
fences.
When you reach the second one, a Metal Head will come from nowhere.
Immediately spin attack it and collect the skull gem. Hop across the
next three platforms and take out the four enemies waiting for you. 
Step
on the red light and fight the three Metal Heads. Even more enemies
await you, so keep moving forward and fight them. Go up the ramp to 
find
the second turret is already shooting at you. So don’t fall off the 
path
leading to it, double jump just as it is about to shoot at you. You can
tell by the mechanical noise it makes just before it fires.

After destroying the second turret, go back across the path and then
into the dark room. The metal flooring will fall. Before you go any
further, turn around and break open the Krimzon Guard Crates. Continue
forward and turn on the light to find a bunch of Metal Heads waiting to
attack. You can shoot them down, fight them physically, or, if you have
it and the eco to use it, the Dark Bomb technique as Dark Jak. Use the
mossy ledges in the corner of the room to climb to the next area. 
Follow
the path to find another turret. Use the same method with this turret 
as
the second one. Jump to the platforms just as it is about to fire. 
Shoot
it when you are close enough. One more left!

Continue along the path and turn on the light. Already, you can hear 
the
final turret. However, when you reach the three Metal Heads, the lights
turn off. Use the glow of the Skull Gems to judge where the Metal Heads
are and defeat them. When you find the turret, jump across the 
platforms
just before the turret fires. Get close enough to shoot it. Hop up into
the next room and fight off the enemies. Before you leave, two Metal
Heads will drop from the ceiling. Defeat them and drop down into the
water below. Take the path with the circle on the floor to find the
exit. Ride the elevator back up and enter Haven City. Head on back to
see Krew to get your next mission.

3.1.L – Find the Blaster Mod

This mission is simple. Just follow the icon to the Gun Course. Break
open the crate in the beam of light to get the Blaster Weapon. Press 
the
up arrow on the D-pad to switch to the Scatter Gun. Switch back to the
Blaster. Spin the first target and immediately shoot to hit the second
one.

3.1.M – Beat Blaster Course

This mission involves another gun course. Press X by the door closest 
to
the Krimzon Guard Crates to start the game. The course has the same
targets as the Scatter Gun Course, but this time around, you have a
laser pointer to aim at the robots. Shoot all the targets as fast as 
you
can to get a higher score. The targets at the end will move quickly, so
be ready to shoot the gun as soon as they appear.

As with the Scatter Gun Course, this mission will award Precursor Orbs
if you can beat the top three scores. 3rd place is 9000 points, 2nd is
11000, and 1st is 13000. The score for each place is 3 Precursor Orbs
(#34-#42).

Completing this mission will unlock the next Underground Challenge. See
the Other Precursor Orb Locations section for more details. Also,
another Underground Challenge becomes available. Look in the same
section for details. (#43, #44, #45) Whenever you’re ready, you can
either talk to Krew or Torn. This guide will have Krew’s mission come
first, so head over to the Hip Hog Saloon and watch the scene to get
your next mission and the Green Security Pass.

3.1.N – Beat Time to Race Garage

Step outside and hop on the Zoomer parked on the street. Follow the 
icon
to the Race Garage. For the Port section of the city, I suggest flying
in the lower Hover Zone just above the water until you have to switch 
to
get back on the road. Just watch out for any of the stationary boats
floating in the water.

Once you are back on the road, stay in the lower Hover Zone to avoid 
any
Zoomers that might get in your way. Just keep in the Hover Zone for the
rest of the trip unless you have to avoid an obstacle that will destroy
your Zoomer. If you hit a Krimzon Guard, just ignore the alarms and 
keep
going. When you reach the garage, drive into the beam of light and 
watch
the scene.

3.1.O – Win JET-Board Stadium Challenge

Even though this mission isn’t next on the Missions list in the menu,
it’s right there so you might as well complete it. Follow the icon and
go inside. Head down the ramp and grab the Jetboard. Press R2 to get on
it and listen to whatever the mechanic has to say. She’ll give you a
quick tutorial on the different things you can pull off with the
Jetboard.

Ride down the ramp and into the judge in the beam of light to start the
game. I suggest jumping in the air and pulling off a bunch of moves by
switching between the two buttons used for tricks (R1 and L1). Keep
pulling off tricks to get at least 15,000 points.

As it is with the gun courses, if you beat the three scores, you can 
win
a total of 9 Orbs. (#46-54) First place is 50,000 points, second place
is 90,000, and first is 120,000. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations
section for details on this game.

After you’ve finished this mission, the next Underground Challenge
becomes available. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations section for
more details. (#55, #56, #57)

Whenever you’re finished, return to the garage. Put back the Jetboard
and go back to see the mechanic. She will tell you a way that might get
you into the Baron’s Palace. Before we do that though, go to the saloon
and the best scene of the game (in my opinion) will play.

3.1.P – Collect Money for Krew

Head on outside to find a Zoomer waiting for you. Hop on and 
immediately
drive towards the first green dot. Almost immediately, the Krimzon 
Guard
alert will start. Ignore them and keep moving. You can’t stop for more
than a few seconds or else you’ll come under fire. Just keep an eye on
the green dots on the map and collect each moneybag when it appears. 
The
course will actually take you back to the saloon, so go inside and talk
to Krew. The Scatter Gun gets a rate of fire increase and Krew will not
give you a mission, so it’s time to see Torn. Follow the icon on the 
map
to the Underground hideout. Enter and watch the scene.

3.1.Q – Rescue Vin at Strip Mine

Follow the icon into the Industrial Section of Haven City. It is 
located
on the upper path, so you’ll have to use a ramp to get there. Once
inside, use the Warp Gate. Walk forward to be greeted by some Metal
Heads. Defeat them and continue to find a flying one. Shoot it with the
Blaster and collect the Skull Gem. Fight off any more Metal Heads that
may come to stop you. Ride the conveyer belt to the fork. Take the 
right
path and follow it, killing any Metal Head in your path.

Ride the conveyer belt ramp to the rocky ledge and take out the Metal
Head. (#58) Continue up the next one and fight the Metal Heads here. 
Hop
onto one of the moving platforms. (#59) Ride them to other side,
shooting down any Metal Heads that come to bother you. Jump off and 
head
towards the closed door to meet Vin. Watch the scene and you will be
back in Haven City. If you want to get the remaining Orbs, jump back
inside the Warp Gate before approaching Vin. (#60) Head back to Haven
City and walk over to Vin to watch a scene.

3.1.R – Destroy Eggs at Drill Platform

Head through the Warp Gate again to find yourself in a different area.
Before you head down to the lowered platform, pull out your Scatter 
Gun.
Hop down and shoot all the Metal Heads. Go to the lower platform and
shoot the ones here as well. In the metal area, stand on the square in
the middle to ride to the top. Use the turret. Hold down R1 to
continuously fire. Watch out for the flying Metal Heads (indicated by
the arrows around the circle. Destroy the Metal Head Eggs (the groups 
of
yellow circles with a black outlining scattered around the area). There
are 58 in total to destroy with this particular turret. When you are
finished, press Triangle to exit. Ride the elevator down to the bottom
level. (#61)

Climb up the ledges. (#62) Turn right and use the escalator ramp. Here,
you will find a new kind of Metal Head. Wait until it lowers its 
shield.
Jump over the projectiles it shoots at you and shoot it with your
Blaster. Switch to the Scatter Gun and stand by the entry to the next
area. Shoot the Metal Heads that come close. When no more are near,
enter the area and shoot any remaining Metal Heads. To the left of the
entrance is a pile of eco barrels. (#63) Climb up onto them and then
jump over to the metal platform. Wait until the fire is out to cross.
Follow the path and jump to the next set of metal platforms. There is
another fire here, so be careful. Spin the red lever to bring up a
platform. Quickly use it to get to the next path. Be grateful the
escalator is going the wrong way as spinning Metal Heads come from
nowhere to attack. Shoot them and go down the ramp. Before you hit the
next lever, kill all the Metal Heads with your Blaster. Jump over and
cross the metal bridge. Be careful of the flying Metal Head as it will
shoot at you. Kill the Metal Heads up ahead and ride the next elevator
to the top. Immediately, shoot the Metal Heads waiting for you. Use the
turret to take out 43 Metal Head Eggs.

Ride the elevator to the lowest level with your Scatter Gun at the
ready. Blast the Metal Heads. Instantly shoot once you reach the bottom
as they will be crowded around the lift. Head forward to the eco
barrels. (#64) Jump on them and get ready to dodge some projectiles 
from
the shielded Metal Head. Defeat it and exit the small room. Use the
platforms and pipes to get across. Pull out your Scatter Gun and move
forward to find more spinning Metal Heads. Shoot them and continue to
the final lift. Ride it up and use the turret to destroy 49 Metal Head
Eggs.

Use the elevator and go down to the bottom level. (#65) Shoot the 
spinny
guys and climb up the makeshift bridge to the Warp Gate. Use it to get
to the Power Station. Torn gives you your next mission, so head to the
Underground hideout.

3.1.S – Find Pumping Station Patrol

Grab a Zoomer and head to the Pumping Station. Fight the new type of
Metal Head and use the rising platforms to get to the metal platform. 
Go
right (as if you were going to the valve). Follow the path up until the
point where you reach the slanted metal bridge. Use the three moving
platforms to jump up to the ledge above. Keep along the path until the
scene occurs. Pull out either your Blaster or Scatter Gun and fight off
all the Metal Heads. Don’t worry about using up all your ammo as you 
can
always get more. Ashelin can handle herself, so just worry about 
keeping
yourself from taking too much damage.

After the scene, go back to the entrance of the level and into Haven
City. Whenever you’re ready, head for the lightning bolt icon on the
map. It is covered by the brown tent icon, so follow that until you
reach the Industrial section of the city. Go inside the room and watch
the scene.

After you’ve finished this mission, the next Underground mission 
becomes
available. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations section for more info.

3.1.T – Turn on 5 Power Switches

Hop on a Zoomer and follow one of the green dots on the map. When you
approach one, a turret will shoot up from the ground. Spin, punch, or
shoot it to destroy it. After it is gone, step on the red button to
activate the power switch Do the same thing with the four remaining. If
you approach one on foot, jump just before the turret fires to avoid
damage. Now that that’s taken care of, before you ride up to the 
palace,
follow the brown tent icon to Onin’s tent. The eastern bazaar section
does not allow you to ride a Zoomer, so once you reach it, make the 
rest
of the trip on foot to see Onin.

3.1.U – Find Shard in Mountain Temple

Leave the bazaar area, grab a Zoomer, and follow the gray mountain icon
on the map to reach your destination. Use the Warp Gate and go 
straight.
Turn right and shoot the platform with your Blaster. Quickly use it to
get across to the other side. Ride the elevator down. Fight off the
Metal Heads and enter the large structure. Take the path to the right
(the one with the two large pipes). Fight some more Metal Heads and
continue forward. When you reach the area with a bunch of ledges, a
swarm of Metal Heads will come and attack you. Fight them off while
heading for the top of the ledges. After that, you will come across a
Metal Head with a shield. Jump over its projectiles and shoot it with
the Blaster until it is dead. (#69)

Climb up to the top ledge behind the defeated Metal Head. (#70) Hop
across the Popsicle stick-like platform and go to the lowest grassy
ledge. Here is the formation in which you should hit the series of 
boxes
floating above the dark eco pool: (Spin the boxes to get them to open 
up)

area. To fight the next type of Metal Head, run around, dodging the
monster. Wait until it skids to a halt. Pull out your Blaster and shoot
it in the stomach multiple times whenever it rears up. Repeat this
process until the creature falls. The gate ahead will open. Jump across
the platform and into the structure. You will receive the shard. Go 
back
out to the circular platform. Walk around it until you see a tree that
is almost as tall as the platform. (#71) (#72) (#73) Drop down to the
lowest grassy area with some Metal Heads. Enter the same structure you
were in when you first arrived.

3.1.V – Find Gear in Mountain Temple

The Gear is located in the Mountain Temple, like the shard in the above
mission. See the above mission on how to get to the Mountain Temple and
into the large structure with four different exits (one leads to a
bottomless pit). Take the exit with the Krimzon Guard Crates on the
stairs. The platforms here work the same way as the previous one. Shoot
them to turn them right side up. To defeat the bull-like Metal Head,
dodge it until it skids to a halt. Shoot at its stomach repeatedly when
it rears up. Repeat this process until it has been defeated. Step on 
the
circle that rises after beating the Metal Head. Use the platforms that
spring out of the cliff to climb up to the grassy ledge. (#74)

Continue along the path to find some Metal Heads. Defeat them and go
forward. You will find a large hill with a bunch of boulders rolling
down it. Dodge the boulders and carefully make your way up the side of
the mountain. Head forward to find more platforms that you have to 
shoot
with the Blaster. Head across these and follow the path up to the gear.
Walk around the edge of the circular platform to find another platform
that will take you down to the main structure.

3.1.W – Find Lens in Mountain Temple

See section 3.1.U on how to get to the Mountain Temple and to the
elevator after the first platform you have to shoot with the Blaster.
When you reach the area with the two Metal Heads, instead of going
straight into the structure, make a left to find a shielded Metal Head.
Dodge the projectiles and shoot it while its shield is down. Head up 
the
ledge and fight off the few Metal Heads you meet here. Cross the
waterfall and drop down to meet another bull-like Metal Head. To defeat
it, dodge it until it skids to a halt. Shoot at its stomach repeatedly
whenever it rears up. Repeat this process until the creature falls.
Press X + Square right above the platform to press the button. It will
bring out a platform. Use it to continue to find another shield Metal
Head. Defeat it and walk across the platform with the three circles. 
The
path should break and you can use the moving platforms to get up to the
next area.

Shoot the platform up ahead and cross the Popsicle stick-like platform.
Fight off the Metal Heads that jump up from the water. (#75) Cross the
pool and kill the Metal Heads. Beat the shielded Metal Head and press X
+ Square to push the circular button. Head on up to the top using the
platforms. Fight off all the Metal Heads that jump out at you. (#76)
Cross the water and head into the structure to get the lens.

After getting it, Pecker will talk to you. Exit the structure and 
search
for the platform nearby the water. It is on the right side (right side 
–
stand outside the structure and face it). Ride it down. Leave the same
way you entered and ride the elevator up. Shoot the platform, jump
across, and use the Warp Gate. Exit into Haven City. If you’ve gotten
200 Metal Head Skull Gems, go to the Oracle in the water slums section
of the city. If not, follow the icon to the palace.

After you complete these three missions, the next Underground Challenge
becomes available. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations section for

|#75 – On the way to the lens, you should find a Popsicle stick-like  |
|      platform. After crossing it, you will come across a pool of    |
|      water with two platforms in it. The Orb is in between them.    |

|      press X + Square to press the button. Climb up the platforms   |
|      and fight off the Metal Heads. The Orb is in the water on the  |

3.1.X – Go to the Oracle

Approach the Oracle for the scene and you will receive Dark Blast.
Activate it by pressing Square + X as Dark Jak. Whenever you’re
finished, head to the palace by following the icon on the Haven City
map.

3.1.Y – Ride Elevator up to Palace

Sure, this mission was available ever since you turned on the five 
power
switches, but I just wanted to get the artifact hunt out of the way. :P
Enter the palace and ride the fast elevator up to the top. (#80) Head
outside to see the defenses.

Jump down to the bottom. Wait until the electricity prong has passed
before crossing. Do the same thing with the second one. Do not step on
the red flooring up ahead. Instead, you should see some platforms on
your left hand side. Jump down there onto the first one. Quickly jump
off as it will fall. Use the platforms and the poles to get back onto
the main path. There is more red flooring up ahead, so take the path on
the right this time. When you get back on the main path, dodge the 
shots
the turret fires and destroy it with one of your guns. (#81) Hop across
the spinning things when they are on a side without spikes. Almost
immediately, another turret will start shooting at you. Destroy it.

As you cannot walk across the rounded part, take the path on the right.
You will come across a platform that falls when you touch it. Time your
jump so that you will avoid falling and getting hit by the electricity.
Follow the path down and grab the Precursor Orb sitting above the
falling platforms. (#82) Climb back up to the main path and get across
the spiked platform. Jump down to the path on the right. Get back up to
the main path to find two turrets shooting at you. Jump over the fire
and hop behind the spinning turrets to stop them. Use the brown
platforms to reach your destination. Walk forward, up the ramp, and
towards the glass roof to watch a scene.

Go over to the side with three ramps. Head forward into this area and
then down the next set of ramps to find Baron Praxis.

3.1.Z – Defeat Baron at Palace

When the battle starts, dodge the Barons shots. You can shoot at him
with the Blaster, but it is a bit dangerous. Wait until the Baron goes
to recharge his power to shoot. After you clear out his first health
bar, it will turn yellow. He will begin spinning around, so stay away
from him. Follow the Baron into the next section to start the next part
of the battle.

This time around, he will launch five pairs of missiles at you. Stay 
out
of the crosshairs on the ground and you should be fine. After the fifth
pair of crosshairs appear, you can shoot at the Baron. He will fire two
rounds before has to recharge. Shoot at him then as well. When you
finish off his second health bar, it will turn red and he will start
spinning again. Mind your distance and follow him to the last section.

The Baron will now fire tornadoes at you, so move away from him to 
dodge
them. He will then head towards you. Roll out of the way and then shoot
at him from behind. Keep this up until you have depleted the rest of 
his
health. It’s time to get out of here!

Head up to the top level and pass through the two blue poles. Follow 
the
path to the door and ride the elevator down. (#83) Exit into Haven City
and go talk to Torn at the Underground Hideout.

3.1.AA – Shuttle Underground Fighters

Head outside of the Underground Hideout and hop in the double-seater
Zoomer provided. Drive to the first green dot. Press Square to brake
when you reach the fighter. Wait until he hops inside the vehicle. 
Drive
him to the next green dot. When you reach it, brake again and let the
fighter out. Repeat this process for the remaining three people.
Remember, if your Zoomer gets too beat up, you could always grab 
another
one but it has to be a double-seater to complete this mission. Don’t 
let
any of the fighters die or else you’ll have to start all over again.
Once you’ve finished the mission, go back to the hideout and talk to
Torn for your next mission. After the scene, you will receive the 
Vulcan
Fury gun. Follow the icon and enter Dead Town.

3.1.BB – Protect Site in Dead Town

Like the first mission here, you can’t get the Precursor Orbs here yet,
so don’t worry about them.

As you can see, Dead Town has been infested with Metal Heads. Clear out
the first ones and jump across to the next one. Use the wooden 
platforms
to find two more to fight. Defeat them and jump across the platforms to
come across another one. Jump down and shoot at the one shooting back 
at
you. Kill it along with the other one down here. Hop across the
platforms to reach the next swarm of Metal Heads.

Jump up onto the rocky path and continue to the wooden platforms. Jump
up there and fight off all the Metal Heads blocking the entrance. To
take out the one that shoots at you, head behind a pillar and shoot at
him with one of your guns with a laser pointer. Go through the entryway
and kill the Metal Heads. Stay behind the corner and shoot at the next
Metal Head. There is another Metal Head waiting for you on a ledge, so
stay behind a corner and shoot at this one as well.

Continue up the ledges and take out the next group of Metal Heads. Go
outside to the next path and take out the Metal Heads. Follow the path
and defeat the two Metal Heads that shoot at you. Walk forward towards
the open area and watch the scene. For a quick way back to the 
beginning
of the level, walk forward and drop off the ledge. Before you hit the
bottom, and press Circle just before you hit the bottom. You’ll find
yourself close to the entrance to Dead Town. Use the exit and go out to
Haven City. Make your way back to the Underground Hideout to finally
meet the Shadow. Surprise!

3.2 – Act 2

After many long, grueling missions, the second act finally starts!

3.2.A – Catch Scouts in Haven Forest

Drive a Zoomer to the icon. To kick off the second act, you’ll get the
Jetboard at your disposal. Seeing as this is what you needed to get the
remaining Orbs in the Mountain Temple, here is the list of the 
remaining
ones to get.

|#92 – Go back to the dark eco river. After you crossed the bridge you|
|      made with the boxes, get out your Jetboard and jump onto the   |
|      dark eco river just below the moving platform. See the big     |
|      light? There is a small opening between the wall it is on and  |
|      the wall next to it. Go inside here to find the Orb. That does |
|      it for the Mountain Temple Precursor Orbs!                     |

Now that that’s taken care of, go back to the Warp Gate at the 
entrance.
Ride the platform basking in the beam of light down to the Haven 
Forest.
Chase it around the forest until you can catch it. It will drop some
dark eco and a Metal Head Skull Gem. Check the map of the forest in the
menu for the locations of the other Metal Heads. Catch them all to
finish the mission. Before you listen to Samos and go back to the
hideout, find the Precursor Orbs if you want.

3.2.B – Intercept Tanker

When you arrive, Ashelin explains what’s going on. Then, a tanker full
of Metal Heads will disrupt everything. Shoot them, kick them, punch
them, use a Dark Jak power on them, or whatever. Just make sure to stay
alive and make sure that Ashelin does as well. Whenever you’re 
finished,
go to the green dot on the map. When you arrive, you should notice that
the green dot is actually a bunch of green dots. Don’t worry, this is
explained in the next mission.

After you’ve finished this mission, the next Underground Challenge
becomes available. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations section for
more details. (#108, #109, #110)

3.2.C – Destroy Cargo in Port

I would suggest starting with the dot on the far right (facing the
water). Use your Jetboard and run into the blue lantern-shaped cargo to
start a timer. Work your way around the water, going to each of the
green dots and destroying the blue cargo. Watch out for the red mines.
If you bump into one, it will start beeping and then explode. If you do
hit one, get away from it, as the explosion will hurt Jak. While you 
are
on this mission, a Krimzon Guard alert will start. Ignore it as guards
will not come in the water and barely any vehicles come to disturb you.
Just focus on destroying all of the cargo in the port. If you need to,
use a Zoomer to get from one side of the port to the other to make sure
you destroy everything in time.

Whenever all of the cargo is destroyed, Krew will talk to you and the
alarm will end a few seconds after. Let’s go see what he wants. Head to
the Hip Hog Saloon and watch the scene inside. You will get a weapon
ammo capacity increase, doubling the ammo for each gun.

3.2.D – Rescue Lurkers for Brutter

Head outside and grab a Zoomer. Ride to one of the green dots on the
map. They are actually Krimzon Guard vehicles. Ride directly behind the
one you went for and shoot at the cage containing the Lurker until the
vehicle itself is destroyed. Switch down into the lower Hover Zone and
use the brakes so that the Lurker can jump on the Zoomer. Drive it to
the icon on the map and drop it off at the stand. Grab another Zoomer 
if
yours has taken damage and repeat the entire process for the remaining
two Lurkers.

Once you drop off the last Lurker, watch the scene. Go back to the
saloon to see what Krew’s up to now. Also, once you finish this 
mission,
the next Underground Challenge becomes available. See the Other
Precursor Orb Locations section for more details. (#111, #112, #113)

3.2.E – Drain Sewers to find Statue

Make your way to the Sewers icon on the map. Ride the elevator down. Go
forward, turn on the light, and take the path to the right. Get on your
Jetboard when you reach the room with three platforms above the water.
Ride over to the path on the right with the grate ramp. Carefully skate
across to the end. You will end up in a room with a pool of water and a
switch on the other side. Hit the switch to lower the water and jump
down to the bottom.

Get on your board again and skate on the path above the water. Dodge 
the
obstacles and when you find yourself in a large room with a bunch of
mines, just look for the next pathway on the other side. At the end is
another switch. Skate back along the lowered path and back into the
large room. There is another path right next to the one you came out 
of,
so take that.

Again, avoid the obstacles and ride along the path until you reach the
final switch. Skate back along the same path and take the newly
accessible entryway. Skate along until you reach the statue of Mar.
Approach it to watch a scene. Climb up the stairs nearby, go forward,
and drop down to the level below. (#114) Continue straight and ride the
elevator to the top of the Sewers. Take the platforms back the way you
came and exit into Haven City. When you leave, Brutter will tell you
that he’s found a way to repay you. Let’s go get it now. Take a Zoomer
into the water slums section (follow the orange-ish icon).

3.2.F – Get Seal Piece at Water Slums

Once you arrive, Brutter will talk to you a bit... or until all the
guards come. I HATE THIS MISSION. There, I said it. I absolutely hate
it.

Choose a gun and take out the first group of guards. Do not get too
close to the vehicle that dropped them off as it will shot a laser at
you. Also, don’t fall into the water or else a little robot will shoot
you, resulting in instant death. Anyways, after the first round is
cleared, walk forward and go left. Keep following the path, blasting 
any
guard that dares to get in your way. If they start shooting at you, do
not, I repeat, DO NOT JUMP. The guards can usually shoot you while you
are in the air. I find this very unfair, as it is hard to move while 
you
have Krimzon Guards attacking you from three sides. Instead, deal with
the guards right in front of you first. I usually find that alternating
between the three guns works best. The Scatter Gun works well if you
have only one swarm of guards in front of you. The other two work well
when they are attacking you from all sides. Just carefully make your 
way
towards the green dot on the map to end the mission... Pretty annoying
when I die just a few steps away from the green dot to end the
mission... Did I mention that I hate this mission?

Here is another strategy to this mission, submitted by Orestes56:

Make sure you have enough dark eco to transform into Dark Jak and that
you have the Dark Bomb ability. Turn into Dark Jak and press X to jump
out over the water in the Slums. Before falling, press Square to 
perform
a Dark Bomb. The attack will destroy the robot in the water, so you can
simply swim to the other side of the Slums to reach the green dot.

After this mission is finally over, go to the race garage to talk to 
the
mechanic and finally see her face.

3.2.G – Win Class 3 Race at Stadium

Keira tells you that you can see the Baron by winning the Class 1 Race,
but you have to start at Class 3. So, head over to the checkered flag
icon on the map and then to the flashing green dot to find your 
vehicle.
Hop on to start the race.

Aim to get into first place early in the race so as to avoid any last
minute rushing. At first, other racers will surround you and you will
not be able to move much. However, once everyone really starts to move,
you can easily find openings to pass up the racers. Grab the pink turbo
boosts and press Circle to use them. Try to use them on straight-aways.
There is a shortcut in this course. When you see some red lights, try 
to
stay to the right side and then jump over the gap between the lights
farthest to the left. Don’t try this if you don’t have enough speed. 
Try
using a turbo boost to get across. Also, there is a gap later in the
race where you either have to use a ramp to get over or take on of the
narrow side paths. Only take the ramp if you have enough speed. If you
can finish in first place after five laps, the mission will be
successful. If not, try again.

Watch the scene after the race. Our next stop is the Hip Hog Saloon, so
stop by and see Sig.

After you complete this mission, you can race again to get Precursor
Orbs. (#115-#123) Also, the next Underground Challenge becomes
available. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations section of this guide
for more info. (#124, #125, #126)

3.2.H – Hunt Haven Forest Metal Heads

Go ahead over to the mountain icon on the map. Take the Warp Gate to 
the
top and ride on the platform you used to reach the scouts in the 
forest.
This time around, you have to kill 30 Metal Heads. However, you can’t
really see them from a distance as they have camouflage ability.
However, if you see a yellowish glow, chase it down and kill the Metal
Head. If they shoot at you, go in the direction of the shots to find 
the
Metal Head. Check the map of Haven Forest to see where the other Metal
Heads are. When you come across the large Metal Heads, shoot them from 
a
distance. Once you’ve taken them all out, leave the forest and go back
to Haven City. Head to the hideout to see what the Shadow has to say.

After you complete this mission, the next Underground Challenge becomes
available. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations section of this guide
for more info. (#127, #128, #129)

3.2.I – Escort Kid to Power Station

As soon as the mission starts, the Kid runs off. Your job is to keep 
the
Krimzon Guards away from him. The Scatter Gun is best for keeping the
guards away from the Kid. Don’t let him get surrounded or else the
mission will be a failure. Follow the Kid to the double-seater Zoomer
(indicated by a green dot on the map). Hop in after him and drive to 
the
next green dot on the map. Park in the beam of light and jump out after
the Kid. Protect him the rest of the way up the ramp. Fight off the
remaining guards to finish the mission and start another scene.

3.2.J – Destroy Equipment at Dig

Ride to the icon on the map. Get in the red vehicle to find yourself at
the Dig. The Precursor Orbs here can’t be obtained yet, so just
concentrate on the mission.

Enter the lit cave and ride the elevator down. Proceed forward and take
out the two guards. In the next area, be sure to keep moving or else 
you
may be caught in a bomb’s explosion. Take the path to the left (not the
side with all the lava) and follow it until you find a rail with some
wires connected to it. Grind on the rail with your Jetboard to snap the
cables. Make your way around the cavern, destroying any and all cables
you find. Look at the giant piece of equipment in the middle to
determine in what general location the next cables will be. After 
you’ve
finished, ride the elevator back up and go back to Haven City in the 
red
vehicle. Head back to the Power Station to see what Vin’s up to.

3.2.K – Blow up Strip Mine Eco Wells

Well, by the looks of things, this is pretty bad. As soon as you are 
out
of the Warp Gate, hop onto the Jetboard and go right. Ride up across 
the
ramp hidden by piles of rocks. Dodge the obstacles along the path. When
you reach the cylinder with glowing blue fire at the top, ride up the
ramp on it and then press X as soon as you begin to get some air. This
will launch one of the bombs inside the well. Five more to go!

As soon as you launch the first one into the well, go left, dodge the
chainsaw, and jump over the gap. Ride up the hills around the mines and
close off four wells. To get the last well, go over to the place where
there are moving platforms suspended from a steel beam. Ride up one of
the ramps holding up the beam and then grind the beam over to the end
towards the final well. Skate over to the well and close it off to end
the mission. Since you can’t get the Orbs quite yet, go back to the
Power Station to talk to Vin and Kor.

3.2.L – Destroy Ship at Drill Platform

Use the Warp Gate yet again. Now, this mission can get annoying! Get in
the red turret thing. Use the arrow to determine where Krimzon Guards
are coming from. Shoot at them to avoid taking damage. When you have to
defeat 40, again, pay attention to where the arrow on the circle in the
middle of the screen is pointing. Use it to determine the location of
the closest guard. Destroy them all and continue.

Once you get out of the turret, kill the spinning Metal Heads with the
Scatter Gun and head for the next turret. Get in to find yourself head-
to-head with the giant ship. Whenever it starts to shoot from one its
cannons, aim for the direction the shots are coming from. Keep shooting
until the cannon is destroyed or it goes back inside the ship. Keep
destroying the cannons until the ship flies out of site. After you exit
this turret, follow the path to the next one. Destroy the rest of the
cannons on the ship (made difficult by even more guards). Again, use 
the
arrow to determine guards’ locations to take them out quickly. Whenever
the ship is destroyed, jump in the Warp Gate.

When you leave and exit to Haven City, you can see that something’s
going on at Onin’s. Head there now. Whenever you’ve finished this
mission, the next Underground Challenge becomes available. See the 
Other
Precursor Orb Locations section for more details. (#130, #131, #132)

3.2.M – Get Seal Piece at Dig

Go to the red vehicle and ride it to the Dig. When you enter, take the
same path you did to reach the first mission here. You’ll notice that
Metal Heads have taken over here. Anyways, follow the path and grind
down the rail ahead. A counter will appear so you know what you’re
looking for. Instead of going out of the cave, continue forward to find
a button. Press X + Square to press it into the ground. For each one 
you
find, the log will raise more.

Jump up onto the wooden path up ahead. Wait until the log with spikes
has finished spinning to cross. Go left to find a lone Metal Head on a
platform. Kill it and press the button here. Jump back near the first
spiked log you jumped across. Go to the one that’s nearest you and that
you didn’t cross yet. Hop onto the wooden path and fall down to the
right side. Fight off any Metal Heads that come for you and check under
the platform you were just on. There should be another button there.

Go back up to the path you were just on. Take the right path at the 
fork
and grab the Orb floating above the platforms. (#134) Jump and press X
above the platforms to push them down. Push one down twice to make the
entire row fall. When you fall with them, make sure to move inside the
alcove to avoid dying. Press the button here. Go forward, drop down, 
and
go right to find yourself in the same area as the third button you
found. Get back up on the path and take the left at the fork this time.
(#135) Jump up the platforms ahead and grind down the rail. (#136) Jump
up to the top platform and jump on the swinging bar whenever it’s 
close.
If you miss, you can always try again. Jump off of it when the balloon
stops moving. Now, turn around to see a lower section right above the
lava. Go down there and kill any opposing Metal Heads. Find the room
with a bunch of crates and the final button. Press it. (#137)

Use the platforms outside to get up to the rail you had to grind. Go
back down it and use the swinging bar to get to the other section 
again.
Kill any and all Metal Heads you see. Climb up the ledges on the right
side and use the log you just raised to climb up to the top. (#138)

Kill the three Metal Heads and jump to the rock in the lava. Jump 
across
the lava and use the balloon swings to get to the end of this area.
Follow the path until you come across the spiked log platform. Use it 
to
jump up to the next ledge. (#139)(#140) Use the platforms to continue.
Kill the Metal Head when you reach it. Stay away from the edge of the
platform as some spiked boulders fly down the ramp. Carefully and
quickly head up the ramp. Stand in the section between the two doors 
and
wait for your opportunity to jump to the next wooden platform. Continue
to the totem pole for a scene. Use the wooden path on the left side of
the totem pole to find a Warp Gate. Use it to get back to the Power
Station.

Torn is waiting for you, so go back to the Underground Hideout to see
what he’s up to.

|3.2.M.a – Dig Site Precursor Orb Locations                           |

|#133 – From the button you just found, turn the camera to find some  |
|       platforms floating on lava leading into a cave. Go there and  |
|       kill the Metal Heads. Continue along the path until you find  |
|       yourself in the first room you were in. Turn left and head up |
|       the ramp for the Orb.                                         |
|#134 – From the button you just found, go back up onto the path above|
|       it. Follow it until you reach a fork. Take the right path and |
|       you should see the Orb floating above some platforms.         |
|#135 – When you reach the fork after the third button, take a left.  |
|       Fall to the left side of the path onto the area below. The Orb|

|#136 – Grind the rail after you find the first four buttons. Stand on|
|       the corner of the platform you are on and turn the screen     |

|       floating on it. Jump down to it to get the Orb.               |
|#137 – After you find the last switch in the room with a bunch of    |
|       crates, pass up the ledges leading to the top platform.       |
|       Instead, go straight to find the Orb next to the lava fall.   |
|#138 – After raising the log completely, use it to jump down to the  |
|       lower area right by it. Follow the path to a ledge with the   |
|       Orb on it.                                                    |
|#139 – After you exit the room with the two balloon swings, follow   |
|       the cave and the path until you reach a spiked log. Jump off  |
|       to the left side and turn the camera to see a ledge above some|
|       lava near the platforms used to get back up. The Orb is on the|
|       ledge.                                                        |
|#140 – After you exit the room with the two balloon swings, follow   |
|       the cave and the path until you reach a spiked log. Jump off  |
|       to the left side. Look to the right of the platforms you have |
|       to use to get back up to see a building. The Orb is on the    |

3.2.N – Destroy 5 HellCat Cruisers

Exit the hideout, grab the ammo inside the crates, and board the 
Zoomer.
Follow one of the green dots to find a large, blue vehicle. Shoot at it
with the Vulcan Fury. Keep the R1 button pressed to keep up a train of
rapid-fire bullets. As soon as you hit the vehicle, the Krimzon Guards
will be on alert. Just keep shooting until the vehicle goes down. Get a
different vehicle if necessary and go after one of the remaining four
dots. Repeat the process to destroy the rest of the HellCat Cruisers. I
found this mission to be pretty annoying as the cruisers can shoot at

see Onin in the bazaar.

3.2.O – Beat Onin Game

In this fun little game, you have to press the symbols that come flying
up. The symbols include the X, Circle, Square, and Triangle Buttons.
Make sure to press the lower symbols first. If you miss a symbol, it
will count as one of your twenty misses. If you press the wrong button,
it will count as a miss and you will lose points. Your goal here is to
get 400 points. After you’ve won the game, follow the icon on the map 
to
the forest.

If you can get a score of 1,000 if you play this game again, you will 
be
rewarded with 3 Precursor Orbs. (#144, #145, #146)

3.2.P – Use items in No Man’s Canyon

Use the Warp Gate when you arrive. Do not ride the platform down!
Instead, shoot the other platform with your Blaster Gun and hop across.
Ride the elevator down and walk into the beam of light. Enter the newly
opened doorway. Follow the path and grind down the pipes. Follow the
ledges through the door and then follow the path yet again all the way
to an area with a gray ground. Watch the scene. Go back to the area
where the pipes are. Do not grind up them. Instead, go left and follow
the path to the entrance of the forest. Roll jump across to the 
platform
with the Warp Gate. Exit into Haven City. Go to the icon on the map and
enter Mar’s Tomb. You know... you would think that the guards would do
something if there were a big explosion opening the way to the entrance
of some long lost tomb. Oh well... Anyways, ride down the elevator and
watch the scene. Oh! There are the guards!

3.2.Q – Pass the second Test of Manhood

(#147) (#148) Go down all the stairs and into the area with all the
water. (#149) (#150) From the stairs, go forward and enter the large
door to the right. Climb up the ledges and jump over the gap. Step on
the square in the middle of the room and remember which beetles have 
the
red marking on their chest. Hit these three to continue to the next
room.

In the next room, jump in the water and dive under the wall that’s
blocking your way. Wait until the electricity has zapped until coming 
up
and jumping up to the next ledge. Kill the two spiders in the next room
and repeat the same process with the next pool of water.

In the next area, step on the square. Jump over to the flashing
platform. Do not step on any other ones and do not take a long time. 
Get
over to the next square and step on it. Do the same thing and jump
through the open door. Kill the three spiders up ahead and get ready to
swim again. Submerge and wait until the electricity zaps. Get to the
other side quickly and enter the door.

Step on the square to find more beetles. Remember which ones have the
red mark and hit them to continue. Quickly cross the next pool of water
to the middle. Jump over the raised ledge when the electricity stops 
and
immediately dive underwater again. Go to the other side and jump out of
the water. Step on the next square to repeat the whole flashing 
platform
process.

Get to the door to find another electricity pool. Go forward and then
right to get to the next room. In this challenge, you have to match the
stones’ tunes with others. It’s kind of like a memory game. Match them
all to open the door to get out. Press the square ahead to shoot a beam
of light to the locked door and raise a platform. Use it to get back
down.

3.2.R – Pass the first Test of Manhood

Enter the door that you did not enter before. Kill the spiders and
proceed to the dark eco filled room. Time your jumps carefully to get
across the spiked platforms. NOTE: To avoid dying by falling in the 
dark
eco, bring out your Jetboard if you are falling. Jump to the right to
swing on a pole. When Jak reaches the top of his swing, move the analog
stick up and jump to the platform above. Kill off any spiders that try
to stop you and use the moving pole to jump across to the moving
platform. Lastly, jump onto the moving pole when it’s on the left side.
Jump off and ride the elevator down. Step on the square to raise the
spiked platforms. The spikes won’t come back up, but the platforms 
move.
So, carefully make your way up the four platforms. More moving poles!
Carefully make your way past this section of the room. Step on the next
square to move the platforms around again. Ride the elevator down to 
the
bottom. (#151) Climb down the stairs that have just appeared.

Kill all the spiders and approach the boulder. Naughty Dog’s Crash
Bandicoot side appears here as you are now in control of Daxter. You
have to run from the giant boulder, jumping over gaps. Be careful! When
the boulder stops, continue along until you meet a ginormous spider. 
Now
you have to run from that thing. Hit any spiders that get in your way
and jump over more gaps. Mind your distance from this beast and
carefully jump over even trickier gaps. When you reach the end of this
path, you’ll have to use the spider webs and paths to climb to the top.
Get up there to reach another little running sequence. Once you cross
through the door, you’re safe! Plus, you’ll be in control of Jak again.
Go through the opening the boulder was previously blocking. Carefully
use the next series of paths, ledges, poles, and platforms to reach the
top of the room.

After you’ve finished this difficult room, step on the square and ride
the platform down. Go to the door at the end of the room that was
previously closed. Watch the scene to find an unexpected and unwelcome
guest.

3.2.S – Defeat Baron in Mar’s Tomb

For the first part of this battle, kill the little robots with your
Scatter Gun. Next, the Baron will launch bombs at you. Kick (press
Circle) the bombs back at him to cause damage. Hurry before they
explode! Also, if they’re about to explode, move away from them.

Once you clear out the Baron’s first green bar, he will launch the
robots at you like normal, only this time he will shoot at you. Double
jump over his bullets to avoid damage and take out the rest of the
robots. Kick the bombs at him.

After you clear his second bar, the Baron will pull free the Precursor
Stone. Watch out for the Baron’s newly added laser. When he uses it,
there will be a gap in the path left behind. Afterwards, the Baron will
throw bombs at you. Kick them back at him when he comes up to use his
green laser again. Be aware that he will still use his rapid-fire 
attack
against you. Just keep launching the bombs at him to end the battle.
Watch the scene and leave by crossing the water to the other side of 
the
room and climbing up all the stairs. Ride the elevator back up to Haven
City. This ends Act 2.

3.3 – Act 3

After even more long, grueling missions, the final act starts.

3.3.A – Rescue Friends in Fortress

Go talk to Torn after you leave Mar’s Tomb. On your way there, you may
notice that there are a different kind of Krimzon Guards. The yellow
Krimzon Guards are tougher to kill.

When you meet with Torn, you’ll learn how the Baron knew where you 
were.
Anyways, leave the hideout and go to the icon on the map. Hop up over
the computers to find two blue poles. Go through them. You should hear
Krimzon Guards’ voices, so be ready to fight a bunch. If you want, you
can peek around the corner (not right next to it as there’s a pit 
there)
and shoot the yellow guard off the little platform. Your main goal in
this room is to clear out all of the guards. The easiest way for me was
to stay in the area right before entering the lit area of this room and
shoot any guards that I could see. After they stopped appearing, I 
would
keep rolling to dodge any shots fired at me. Clear the room of the
guards and then go around to the little circular platforms and press 
all
of the red buttons. To press them, press X then Square to dive onto
them. There is a total of four buttons to press in this room. There is
one more in front of an electrical fence in the next room. Press them
all to turn off the fence.

After turning off the fence, you’ll find yourself facing some cannons
with laser pointers. To avoid getting hit, jump over the lasers and 
onto
the cannons to get to the other side of the room. One of them is higher
than the rest, so you have to watch out for that one when you jump
across the tops of the cannons. Head forward to see some moving blue
electricity. Hop on the Jetboard and carefully ride up and down the
half-pipe, jumping over the blue electricity or staying within two
beams. The next room is to the left of the room you just came out of.

When you enter this room, you will see right away that there are two
more cannons with laser pointers, ready to shoot you. Approach the rail
in the middle of them and grind across it with your Jetboard. Jump over
the pointers if they ever come close to catching you. After crossing 
the
rail, follow the path to the next area. Guards will shoot down at you
from above, kind of like they did in the beginning only they shot from
below. Safely make it past the grate and get ready to kill even more
guards. Hop up to the higher ledge, kill the guards, and immediately
turn to shoot the flying guards. Carefully cross the bridge ahead while
avoiding the cannons’ laser pointers. Walk forward and a door will
automatically open for you.

The robots will keep popping up, so just continue to the next door.
Approach the Warp Gate and watch the scene. The group will go through
the Warp Gate. Leave the Power Station. You can choose which one of the
missions you want to complete, but the next mission for this guide is
the Protect Hideout from Bombots mission. The other two missions are 
the
Win Class 2 Race at Stadium and the Escort men through Sewers. Choose
any of the three (see Keira for the race, Krew for the Sewers, Samos 
for
the Bombots).

3.3.B – Protect Hideout from Bombots

Exit the hideout. Go to the Industrial Zone to find two Bombots. To 
take
out the robots, stand right next to them to stay out of the range of 
the
electrical beam. Keep shooting at them with the Vulcan Fury. Once you
hear a beeping noise, get out of the way to avoid the Bombot’s
explosion. Take out the two in the Industrial Section first and then go
to destroy the remaining one.

3.3.C – Win Class 2 Race at Stadium

Go to the wrench on the map and talk to Keira. Erol will threaten you
and Keira and Samos will walk in. For the Class 2 Race, you’ll have to
drive as Daxter.

I actually found this race easier than the first one. There is another
shortcut here. Again, when you see the red lights, look ahead to see a
few columns. Use a turbo boost and fly in between the two. Be careful
not to run into one or else you will most likely fall down the gap. 
When
you see some yellow and black lines along with two little dips on 
either
side, try to stay in the middle to maintain your speed. Make sure to
finish first or else you’ll have to race again.

After you complete this mission, you can race again to get Precursor
Orbs. (#152-#160) Also, the next Underground Challenge becomes
available. See the Other Precursor Orb Locations section for more

3.3.D – Escort men through Sewers

Go to the saloon and talk to Krew. Okay... Krew sleeping... is just
NASTY. Anyways, after the scene, leave the saloon and go to the Sewers.
Enter the door and ride down the elevator. You’ll meet the three men 
you
have to protect. Ride the next elevator down and get ready to fight a
Metal Head. Kill it and continue forward to find two more waiting for
you. Kill them as well. Shoot all the ones coming down from the wall.
One of the men will step forward and blow up the debris blocking your
way. Be sure to stand back to avoid the explosion.

In the next room, kill the Metal Heads coming down from the path and
then the ones coming from behind. Follow the men forward and ride the
elevator down. Follow them again and shoot the Metal Heads in the way.
More will come up from behind, so be ready. Follow the electrical beams
all the while jumping over them to find three Metal Heads. Kill them 
and
follow the three other beams. Stay to the left side and jump to avoid
the electricity. Shoot the Metal Heads and continue forward. In the 
next
room, a short scene will play and Metal Heads will come down from the
ceiling. Shoot them all and make sure that none of the men get killed.
For this part, stay back by the three men to make sure no Metal Heads
get past you. Follow the men a bit more and watch the scene. Leave the
Sewers and head into Haven City.

Since I haven’t mentioned it before and you’ve most likely gotten them
by now, if you have 200 Metal Head Skull Gems, go see the Oracle. If
you’ve already done so or don’t have enough, go to the purple icon on
the map.

Enter the Gun Course and break open the crate basking in the beam of
light. Pick up the... Peace Maker! After you’re done praising, go back
to the saloon and talk to Krew.

3.3.E – Go to the Oracle

Head to the Water Slums and approach the Oracle for a scene. Whenever
you transform into Dark Jak, you’ll be invincible!

3.3.F – Beat Erol in Race Challenge

As soon as you exit the saloon, you should see two Zoomers waiting. Hop
onto the empty one to begin the race. Don’t skip any rings or else
you’ll automatically lose. In the beginning right before the first 
ring,
try to cut in front of Erol for an early lead. Start turning while
you’re on the ramp up ahead to cut down some time. Keep an eye on the
mini-map to see where the next ring is. When you get into the western
bazaar section, be prepared to make some sharp turns. Do not stray too
far from the path or else it will be an automatic failure. When you are
near the fountain that Mar’s Tomb is near, don’t go towards the port.
Instead, keep straight. I found myself doing this a lot, so I failed...
a lot. Even though Erol says that you can’t miss one ring, he skips 
them
often. When you reach the Business Section, don’t be afraid to let off
the gas a bit to make the sharp turns and grab all of the rings.

When you reach the end of the race, watch the scene. Go to the Power
Station to talk to Vin. On your way there, Samos will contact you.
Instead of going to see Vin, listen to Samos and go to Dead Town.

3.3.G – Get Life Seed in Dead Town

When you enter, walk forward, turn the camera to the left, and move to
the beam of light. Press Triangle to get in the Titan Suit. Press 
Square
in front of the door to break it open. Kill the Metal Head and break 
the
next door. Two Metal Heads wait. Destroy them along with the next door.
Press R1 next to the block and push it as far as you can. Jump on it 
and
then jump up to the next ledge (hold X for a higher and longer jump).

To kill the next enemy, get out of the Titan Suit and beat it so the
suit doesn’t take any damage. Break the brick wall. Push the block to
the ledge by the wall you just destroyed. Jump up to it and get out of
the Titan Suit to destroy the two enemies up here. Push the block to 
the
ledge and jump up. Get out of the suit and shoot the enemy across the
gap. (#177) Follow the narrow path to find a column. Hit the column to
make a bridge. Go down to the lower platform and grab the block with 
R1.
Take it up the steps and throw it (press Square) at the column to make
another bridge. Throw the next block at the brick wall. Jump across the
gap and make an immediate left turn to find another column. Knock it
over and walk across. Watch the scene.

To get to the entrance, go back the way you came. You don’t have to
worry about the Titan Suit, so you can leave it where it is. Exit into
Haven City. (#178-#183)

When you enter Haven City, make your way to Onin’s Tent. After the
scene, go to Haven Forest. Take the Warp Gate to the top and ride the
platform down. Look at the map to see the green dot. Go there to find
Samos waiting. Approach him for a scene.

3.3.H – Protect Samos in Haven Forest

Always stand by Samos for this mission. Shoot any guards. They will 
come
from the left or from the right. If there are any flying guards that
come to attack, press X, Circle, and then R1 to shoot a bunch of 
bullets
into the air. If Samos’s life bar drops down to nothing, the mission is
a failure. Fight off the guards until the scene shows. Leave Haven
Forest and go back to the city. Go to the bazaar to check in on 
Brutter.

3.3.I – Rescue Lurkers For Brutter

Grab a Zoomer and go after any one of the green dots on the map. When
you get to one, get your Zoomer behind the cruiser with a cage on it.
Shoot the cage until the vehicle explodes. Switch into the lower Hover
Zone and let the Lurker jump on. Drive it to the green dot on the map.
This time, you don’t take them to Brutter. Just drive them to the green
dot on the map. Transport all six Lurkers to complete the mission. Now,
finally, go talk to Vin.

3.3.J – Destroy Eggs in Strip Mine

Use the Warp Gate to go to the Strip Mine. From the Warp Gate, go
straight until you see a ramp to the right. Ride up the slope and 
follow
the path, avoiding all of the obstacles. When you reach the rail, grind
on it with the Jetboard. Go past the two saws and choose a pipe. They
both lead to the same place, but be sure to jump across the gap at the
end. (#193) You should find yourself by a bunch of ramps with lights on
them.

Go up the conveyer belt nearby and follow the path, avoiding more
obstacles. Be sure to jump when you see the yellow band across the
ground as there is a gap that you could fall into. Jump and grind on
either pipe to reach the next ledge. Skate on the half pipe and jump
over any gates that get in your way. Get to the next area.

Follow the path to find a moving platform. Luckily, if you die, you 
will
not have to start over from the Warp Gate. While on the moving 
platform,
jump onto any of the three rails and grind to the next ledge. Grind
again and be sure to jump over the gap in the middle of the rail. Dodge
the saw and the drills. Choose whichever rail you think the platform
will be in front of when you reach the end and grind it across. Jump
across the platform onto the next area. (#194) (#195)

Go up either conveyer belt and go right. Go across both moving 
platforms
and land safely on the ground. (#196) ride the Jetboard along the path.
Skate ride off the edge to trigger a scene. Finally, those ugly Metal
Head Eggs are gone! Use the Warp Gate to get back. Watch the scene.

3.3.K – Destroy Drill Platform Tower

Use the Warp Gate again to get to the Drill Platform. Jump into the
Titan Suit behind the gate. Hit the metal door three times to knock it
over. Ride the elevator down. Time your way across the bridge to avoid
getting hit with the beams. Quickly break down the door and enter the
next room. Do not jump across the platforms. Instead, get out of the
Titan Suit after crossing the bridge. Now go across the platforms.
Double Jump and then spin in the air to reach the high ledge. Defeat 
the
two Metal Heads and then hit the red switch. Jump down to the Titan 
Suit
and ride the lift up. Break down the door.

Quickly jump across the next two platforms as they will fall. Time your
way across the grills and enter the next area. Get out of the Titan
Suit, Roll Jump across the gap, kill the Metal Heads, and hit the
switch. Go back and get in the suit. Go across the platform you just
raised. Jump over the gap with the suit and get out of it. Roll Jump
again across the gap. Wait until the fire is down to hit the switch. Go
back to get the Titan Suit and go across the platform you just raised.
Cross the fiery grill and cross the bridge, carefully avoiding the
electric beams. Get to the next area, which is filled with hot grills.

As soon as the flames are out, get on the grill. Walk as far as you can
and get on one of the platforms when the flames go up. As soon as
they’re down, get back on the grill. The platforms off to the sides 
will
fall, so you want to get on them right before the fire comes up. If the
suit isn’t too badly damaged, don’t be afraid to let the fire hit it.
Just keep a close eye on the health bar at the top of the screen. After
you’ve gotten to the other side, go left and a door will automatically
slide open. Ride the lift up.

Get out of the Titan Suit and defeat the Metal Heads. Walk around the
area to make sure that you’ve killed all of them. Next, hit all four
sides of the two computers to get the count down to 2. Walk into the
next room and hit the remaining computers.

As soon as you destroy the last one, an alarm will sound and a timer
will start. Go back to the lift you just rode and ride it again. Go 
back
through all of the rooms you just came through with the Titan Suit
before the timer runs out. In the first room with the grills, you can
easily jump to the falling platforms so you can get through this room
quickly. When you reach the room where you had to hit the switch to
activate the lift, just jump down to the lower bridge and continue to
the end. I found it unfair that the last lift took ten seconds to reach
the top, so make sure to go VERY quickly. After the short scene, go 
back
through the Warp Gate. Exit the Power Station into the city. Head to 
the
Stadium and talk to Keira.

3.3.L – Win Class 1 Race in Stadium

After the scene, go to the checkered flag icon on the map. Walk to the
beam of light and get in the vehicle. Before this race starts, there is
a scene.

There are two shortcuts you can use in this race. The first one is to
the right of the starting line. It’s a narrow hallway and it will put
you by the tunnel entrance. In the beginning of the tunnel, there is a
large gap in the middle of the road. It is surrounded by red lights, so
use them as a warning to stay on the side of the road. The second
shortcut is available right after you exit the tunnel. It’s towards the
right of the road, and it is a ramp marked with red arrows. Use the
shortcuts to make the race easier. After winning the race, watch the
scene. You’ll end up back in the city with the Krimzon Guards on alert.
Keep moving to avoid their shots and go to the icon on the map.

3.3.M – Explore Palace

When you enter the palace, ride the elevator up. Walk forward and stay
towards the left to open up a large pair of doors. Continue down the
red-carpeted path to meet up with Ashelin. Face the large pair of doors
and look between the two pillars on the left hand side, closest to the
doors. You should see a small opening underneath a shield. Go through
there.

Fall down and follow the path. Use the poles to swing up to the
platform. Quickly jump up the next three platforms and take out the
yellow guards. Cross more falling platforms. Stay behind the glass and
wait until it is safe to walk in front of the turret. Shoot and kill 
the
bunch of Krimzon Guards waiting for you. I actually stayed back in the
little area with the turret and shot the guards from there just to be
safe. After they’re all gone, follow the platforms and break open the
crate for a health pack. Continue forward to find a cracked window to
your left. Shoot the window with a gun to break it. Grind the ledge 
with
the Jetboard to reach two Krimzon Guard Crates. Jump across the three
falling platforms and continue to the next room.

Watch out for the firing turret and make your way to the room with the
elevator. Walk down the hallway and go through the opening on the left
hand side. Break the crates and grind across the pipes. Be careful, as
there is a bunch of gaps that you have to jump over while grinding. 
Jump
up the ledges and shoot all of the Krimzon Guards in sight. Shoot the
center of the circular object on the ceiling to lower it. Grind on the
edge to reach the next platform. Get past the firing turret and kill 
the
Krimzon Guards. Go past the glass to the series of falling platforms.
Break the glass (punch or kick it) and take out any more Krimzon Guards
that are in the way. Jump to the next platform and jump across even 
more
falling ones. Go through the door that automatically opens and ride the
elevator down. Exit into Haven City and Ashelin will contact you. Go to
the icon on the map and use the red vehicle.

3.3.N – Get Heart of Mar in Weapons Lab

After arriving, climb the ledges up the hill to the beam of light. 
Enter
the door at the top of the stairs. (#218) Ride the circular lift down.
Ride the escalator down and kill all of the guards. Go to the left and
press the button near the escalator to turn off the electric fence. Go
through and fight more guards. Climb the down escalator up (use the
Jetboard) and kill any more guards up here. There are two crates to the
left of this escalator and one contains a health pack if you need it.
Continue along the path and kill all of the rolling robots that drop
down to swing some platforms close to you. Jump across them and kill 
the
guards. Stand on top of the spinning switch and press Circle to move 
the
platforms again. Jump across them and ride the circular lift up. (#219)
Kill the two guards up here, jump on the Jetboard, and go across the
escalator, dodging the spinning spikes. Fall off the edge to land on
another conveyer belt. (#220) Go down this belt (going against its
direction) and shoot the two blocks with the circular design on them.
Jump onto them and get up to the higher ledge. Jump onto the next
conveyer belt and climb up to the top. Shoot the next block with the
circular design on it and jump over to it. Go through the doorway to 
the
next room.

Shoot all of the guards on the lower level of this floor. Hit the red
switch next to the conveyer belt to switch its direction. (#221) Ride 
up
the belt and jump over the gap at the top. Use the Jetboard to get to
the top of the next conveyer belt. Jump over the gap and hit the red
switch. Either use your Jetboard, or shoot the blocks with the circular
designs on the wall to get across the next belt. Get to the top of the
next belt and shoot at the red switch. Get across the next belt and 
jump
up to the ledge to find some more rolling robots. Destroy them all to
turn off the electrical beams in front of the switch. Hit it and ride 
up
the conveyer belt. (#222) Shoot the guards on the next platform, but
don’t spin the switch yet. Instead, jump across the three platforms and
shoot all the guards that are shooting at you. Hit the spinning switch
here and jump across the platforms again. Shoot the guards shooting at
you again and hit the switch on this platform. Jump across the three
platforms and hit the next switch on the next platform. Jump across the
three yet again and press X and then Square on the Krimzon Guard face 
on
the ground to smash to the lower level.

Break the crates ahead and then fall down to the lower area. Kill all 
of
the robots (press X, Circle, and then R1 to fire five shots in a 
circle)
and then go through the newly available door. Ride the lift up. When 
you
reach the top, get off and watch the scene. You’ll get a weapon damage
increase, but you’ll have to fight Krew.

3.3.O – Beat Krew in Weapons Lab

To start off, do not physically attack the little green blobs of Krew.
Instead, shoot at them with a gun, preferably the Scatter Gun. If they
gather in numbers, you could use the Peace Maker to shoot them all.
After they’re all gone, dodge Krew’s fire and then continuously shoot 
at
him to keep him from attacking. Repeat the process with the little 
blobs
and Krew to eventually defeat him. Watch the scene after the battle to
find yourself back in Haven City.

3.3.P – Beat the Metal Head Mash Game

Go to the saloon and watch the scene. For this mini-game, there are two
diamonds made of four circles each. For the one on the left, each 
circle
corresponds to one of the arrows on the directional pad. For example,
the left circle is the left arrow on the D-pad, the right is the right
arrow. For the second diamond, each circle corresponds to one of the
four buttons. For example, the left circle is the Square button, the
right circle is the Circle button. With this basic knowledge, you can
play this game.

As for the Metal Head types, there are three. The green Metal Heads are
the most basic point-scorers (10 points). The gold ones will give you 
50
points. As for the red, electrified ones, they will stun Daxter. If you
miss one of the Metal Heads, it will count as a miss. Get 20 misses, 
and
the mission is a failure. Score 1500 points to trigger a scene.
Unfortunately, you can’t win any Orbs from this game, so go to the icon
on the map. On your way, Vin will contact you and freak out. His
information explains why the Metal Heads are now in Haven City.

3.3.Q – Find Sig in Under Port

When you enter the door, ride the elevator down. Get in the Titan Suit
and the entire place will fill with water. Wait until the door nearby
opens up and go straight for the blue beam of light to refill the blue
bar on the right side of the screen. Look out for the mine and break 
the
gate at the top of the stairs nearby. You can actually punch the mine,
just be sure that you hit it before it hits you.

Immediately head for the beam of light, while avoiding or punching the
mines. Fight off any Metal Heads and fall down the square hole. Break
open the next gate and again, immediately head for the blue beam of
light. Cross the mine-filled room and get to the next blue light, while
killing off any enemies. Go into the next room and stay along the left
wall to find the next gate. Break it and continue.

Replenish the air supply and then punch all four platforms. After 
you’ve
done that, ride the square platform up to the top. Fall down through 
the
hole. (#223) Punch through the gate and quickly walk across the bridge
to the beam of light. Kill any remaining Metal Heads in this room and
get more air before leaving into the next room.

In the next room, fight off the Metal Heads and go to the entry to the
next room on the right-hand side. If you’re low on health, don’t worry
about them and just keep going. Step in the column of light to get some
air and then ride the square lift up. Jump to the next lift and wait
until it stops moving to jump towards the air column. Be careful as it
is a long jump and there is a huge gap waiting for you. Refill your air
and go into the next room. Kill the single enemy and go into the room 
to
the left. Stand in the middle and the water will drop down. Get out of
the Titan Suit and leave through the open door. Follow the path, jump
over the gap, and find Sig.

3.3.R – Escort Sig in Under Port

For the first block in the first room, punch it so it is lined up with
its square and then hit it straight into the square. For the second
block, you just have to punch it straight into its square. However, you
have to hurry, as the blocks will start to flash. Get them in the
squares before they blow up. Follow Sig to see a short scene. In the
chase sequence, just carefully jump from platform to platform. Some
move, so time your jumps as quickly as possible. When you reach the
electric fence, you’re close to the end of the chase, so just finish up
and watch the short scene.

For this block, hit it forward three times and then jump onto the
platform with Sig. Shoot the block with the Blaster twice to get it 
into
the square. The door will open. Follow Sig to another two blocks. Let
him handle the Metal Heads so you can solve the block puzzle. Hurry so
that Sig will not lose all of his health. For the left block, hit it
forward until you can’t any more. Then hit it to the left, again, until
you can’t move it any more. Then hit it forward and to the left. For 
the
right block, hit it left, forward until it is next to its square, and
then to the right. The door will open and Sig will jump down.

Follow him forward to meet up with the giant centipede-like Metal Head.
Dodge the electric beams and then shoot the platform up ahead with the
Blaster. Continue along the moving platforms and then get ready to 
shoot
two more platforms. Move across the moving platform and then fall down
the hole after Sig. Break the gate and then fall down after Sig again.
Walk along the next path and then watch the scene. Keep moving until 
you
reach the lift. Take it up and then exit. Keira will contact you.

NOTE!!! THERE IS A GLITCH THAT CAN OCCUR WHEN YOU GO TO FIND KEIRA!
DO NOT change the stadium to race in any of the races or even the
Jetboard challenge. Just go straight to see Keira. If you do change it,
she will not appear and the game cannot be completed. Again, go 
straight
to Keira, do not stop and play through a race. Watch the scene when you
arrive.

3.3.S – Defend Stadium

DO NOT change the stadium to race in any of the races or even the
Jetboard challenge. Just go straight to see Keira. If you do change it,
she will not appear and the game cannot be completed. Again, go 
straight
to Keira, do not stop and play through a race.

The two Samoses will lift up part of the balloon and carry it. Your job
is to protect them from oncoming Metal Heads. It may be a bit hard to
see them, since the big glowing thing is a big distraction. I found 
that
it is easy to stay close to the Samos in the back and shoot any Metal
Head you see with the Scatter Gun. If you get enough eco for Dark Jak,
use one of his attacks to kill of hordes of Metal Heads. After a scene,
Vin will contact you. Go to the icon on the map.

3.3.T – Check Construction Site

When you arrive, walk inside the small pair of doors. Go up the stairs
and then out the metal door. Walk down the wooden path for a scene.
(#224) (#225) Leave the way you came in. Once outside in the city,
Ashelin and Torn will contact you. Go to the icon on the map and use 
the
red vehicle.

3.3.U – Break Barrier at Nest

At the start of the level, break open the crates to get ammo. Kill any
Metal Heads that come to attack you. When you see the large Metal Head
spider, do not get close to it. Instead, shoot at it with one of your
guns. (#226) Spin the valve nearby. Go to the platform you just raised
and jump onto the ledge above. Kill all of the Metal Heads and continue
to break two crates. Jump up to the ledge to your left. Stay to the
right to find more ledges to climb up. Kill the Metal Heads and go
through the opening next to the green light. Walk forward along this
path to see a scene.

3.3.V – Attack the Metal Head Nest

(#227) (#228) (#229) Walk down the path by the gun and fight off all of
the Metal Heads. When you go up the ramp, ignore the big Metal Head and
just worry about taking out the spider Metal Heads. Ignore the large
Metal Head. (#230) (#231) Keep moving and fighting off more Metal 
Heads.
(#232) If you see another large Metal Head shooting off electricity,
follow up the path to find more spiders waiting for you. Shoot them all
and take the path with the bones jutting out of it. Make sure to follow
the curve of the path so that you won’t fall into the Dark Eco below.
Pass the large Metal Head when the electricity isn’t on and take out 
any
spider Metal Heads in the way. Go up the slope to find more jumping and
spider Metal Heads. Follow the path and kill everything that poses a
threat. Jump up onto the ledge and go left to the path with what looks
like green eggs on the ground. Stay to the right of this area to find
another path leading you to more eggs. Keep going straight into the
purple area for a scene.

3.3.W – Destroy Metal Kor at Nest

For the first bar of Kor’s health, kill any Metal Heads that come close
to you, but don’t worry about their Skull Gems. After you’ve cleared
them out, shoot at Kor with the Blaster Gun as the crates will only 
have
that ammunition. If Kor charges up a dark projectile, Roll Jump just as
it is about to hit to dodge the damage. When you have a chance,
continuously shoot at Kor to bring down his health to the second bar.

During the second stage, Kor launches two projectiles at once, so keep
moving! Also, if you see any flying Metal Heads, press X, Circle, and
then R1 to shoot them, any scorpion Metal Heads nearby, and to damage
Kor. Keep this up until his health sinks to the last bar.

Before the third stage begins, a short scene occurs. Keep a safe
distance away from Metal Kor. Be sure to be on opposite sides of the
cavern before you shoot at him. Dodge his triple projectiles. If Kor
causes a purple ring to appear, simply jump over it to avoid any 
damage.
Keep up the continuous firing to kill the Metal Head Leader. Watch the
ending scene. Congratulations! You’ve beaten the game!

Here is a strategy submitted by SingingStorm:

You'll want to make sure to begin with the full 200 rounds for the 
yellow gun - if you don't then just concentrate on retrieving enough 
the first time and die off to start anew. For the first two stages of 
the battle, stand just next to his tail and press X and the square and 
keep shooting until you haven't much left - this often helps me get 
through to halfway his yellow meter. Before you get to the red/last bit 
of the battle, I find it really REALLY helps to have at least 100 
rounds or so for the last part seeing how there isn't much time for you 
to stop and get ammo. Also, be sure to have your dark eco meter full 
for the last stage. I personally kept using the jumping/spinning and 
shooting combo over and over as I moved around to get the extra ammo.  
 
For the last part of the battle, I found it really helped to get Kor's 
red meter down by half (so you really have 1/6 of the meter left) by 
being on the defense and if you don't see him, just keep roll-jumping 
until he starts to shoot at you - then shoot some with the spinning 
jump, and keep moving. Lastly - to finish the last of him off, I used  
Dark Jak's bomb as the final kill off.

4.1 – Unlockables

By collecting a certain amount of Precursor Orbs, you can unlock
different features during the game.

Mirror World – Everything is flipped around. For example, on the map of
Haven City, the Stadium would be where the Water Slums were and the
Water Slums would be where the Stadium was. The two yellow paths would
switch places with the Slums and the Industrial Zone.

Scrap Books – These will allow you to see art from the game. You can
view them after you unlock them in the main menu.

Scene Players – After you’ve completed the scene you’ve unlocked, you
can view the different scenes from that act.

Reverse Races – These races have the exact same courses as the original
races; only you go around the track in the opposite direction.

Level Select – After you’ve completed the game and unlocked this 
secret,
you can go back and play through any mission in the game.

Hero Mode – This secret allows you to start a new game with all four
guns and Metal Heads will drop their Skull Gems, no matter how many
times you’ve killed them.

4.2 – Other Precursor Orb Locations

Besides the Orbs hidden throughout the different locations of the game,
there are also Orbs to be obtained through completing mini-games. These
mini-games can be gun courses or driving missions.

You may notice yellow arrows on your map of Haven City. These are
mission kiosks. At these locations, you can talk to Torn to receive a
mission to complete for Precursor Orbs.

*Note – The kiosks will not be available to use if the Krimzon Guards
are on alert. The alarms have to end before you will be able to access
one.

Following is a list of Precursor Orbs that have to be obtained by
winning or getting a certain score on the mini-games. They are listed 
in
the order that they become available.

Ring Challenge (#1)

Obtained: Complete the Find Pumping Station Valve mission

Kiosk Location: In the Slums (northeast section) of Haven City. It is 
on
the path that connects the upper area of the Slums (not the water 
slums)
to the lower area of the Slums). It is by the border of the map.

Challenge: Fly through the rings before the timer runs out.

Strategy: As soon as the game starts, jump in the single-seater Zoomer
provided and head for the first ring (indicated as a green dot on the
map). After you fly through the first ring, you will have seven seconds
to get to get to each of the next rings. Try to stay in the lower Hover
Zone as much as possible, but quickly switch to the upper and then back
to the lower to avoid Krimzon Guards and to grab the rings.
There will be two times in this course where the ring will be on the
roof of a building. Don’t be stupid like I was at first and jump out of
the Zoomer to reach the roof. The Zoomer will automatically rise in the
air to allow you to fly over the roof, while grabbing the ring.

Scatter Gun Course

Obtained: After the Make delivery to Hip Hog Saloon mission

Located: Gun Course

Challenge: 3rd Place: 3 Orbs; 2nd Place: 3 Orbs; 1st Place: 3 Orbs

Strategy: I suggest coming back to try for the trophies after you have
gotten the upgrades for the Scatter Gun. Try to shoot every target. 
This
will bring up more gold targets, boosting your score. The shockwave of
the Scatter Gun makes it difficult not to hit civilians, so time your
shots or position yourself so that you will only take out the robot
targets. Good luck! 3rd place is 8000 points, 2nd is 10000 points, and
1st is 12000 points.

Reward: 3 Orbs for each place that you beat (#19-#27)

Orb Find (#1)

Obtained: Complete the Beat Scatter Gun Course mission

Kiosk Location: According to the large Haven City map available in the
menu, the kiosk is located in the Slums area on the second pathway to
the right of the fortress.

Challenge: Find and grab the Precursor Orb before time runs out.

Strategy: Press Triangle next to the kiosk to see the location of the
Precursor Orb. From your location at the kiosk, take the path directly
across from the kiosk. Continue straight until you come across a trench
in the path. Go down inside and check under the wooden bridge for the
Precursor Orb. You might want to try the Orb Find challenges after
you’ve gotten the Jetboard.

Reward: 3 Precursor Orbs (#28, #29, #30)

Orb Find (#2)

Obtained: Complete the Protect Sig at Pumping Station mission

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City found in the menu,
this kiosk is located in the Industrial District. It is on the left 
side
in a square-shaped section. It is in the bottom right corner on the 
map.
It is under a ramp.

Challenge: Find and grab the Precursor Orb before time runs out.

Strategy: Press Triangle next to the kiosk to see the location of the
Precursor Orb. From your location at the kiosk, go up the ramp directly
above you. When you reach the first fork, go right and then go left. It
is at the very end of the walkway on the corner of the path. If you
happen to get one, you could even use a Zoomer to get up there quickly.
In fact, for missions like this, grab a single-seater Zoomer before you
talk to Torn to get the mission. Park right by the kiosk and then talk
to Torn. When you are in control, quickly jump onto the Zoomer and head
for the Orb’s location.

Blaster Gun Course

Obtained: Complete the Destroy Turrets in Sewers mission

Location: Gun Course

Strategy: You have to be quick to shoot as the Blaster Gun can only 
take
down one target at once, unless you use the move Sig taught you before
the course (Circle + R1, almost at the same time). Be careful not to
shoot the civilians. Remember, practice helps, and so keep trying for
the gold.

Reward: 3 Orbs for each place you beat (#34-#42)

Strategy: You might one to grab a single-seater Zoomer and park it next
to the kiosk before you start the mission. Press Triangle next to the
kiosk to see the location of the Precursor Orb. From your location at
the kiosk, follow the curved path towards the Hip Hog Saloon. When you
reach the first fork, continue straight. At the second fork, make a
right. The Precursor Orb is by the Baron’s loudspeaker.

JET-Board Game

Obtained: Complete the Beat Time to Race Garage mission

Strategy: Jeez... check out that first place score! To get the most
points possible, find a long stretch of rail to grind on. Then, keep
jumping in the air above the rail and pull off a trick. Land back on 
the
rail and continue grinding and pulling off tricks.

Special Challenge (#1)

Obtained: Complete the Win JET-Board Stadium Challenge mission

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City in the menu, this
kiosk is in the Business section of town. This section is the one with
the river/canal running through the middle. It is by the black box on
the map underneath the green area by the stadium.

Challenge: Collect all of the beacons as fast as you can.

Strategy: Again, park a single-seater Zoomer by the kiosk so that you
can jump on it and drive around quickly to grab the beacons. They are
represented as green dots on the map. First, grab the one on the other
side of the building behind the kiosk. After that, it’s up to you to
pick out the path you think is best for collecting the remaining 19
beacons. You have a total time of two minutes to grab all 20, and that

Special Challenge (#2)

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City in the menu, this
kiosk is located in the white square just above the yellow pathway 
above
the port area.

Challenge: Drive from your location to the Underground Hideout in a
minute and a half.

Strategy: A Zoomer will provided at the start of the mission, so 
quickly
jump on it and start driving. The shortest way is probably to go around
the palace, over the eastern bazaar area (the gray path on the map),
through the Industrial Zone, and then to the hideout in the slums. This
mission will probably take you a couple tries as it is rather hard.
Follow the green dot on the map if you get lost. Getting through the
raised street above the bazaar is probably the hardest part, so be
careful not to blow up the Zoomer as it will waste a lot of time. If 
you
can make it off the raised street and into the Industrial Section with
30 seconds remaining, you should be able to make it back to the hideout
in time.

Orb Find (#5)

Obtained: Complete the Catch Scouts in Haven Forest mission

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City in the menu, this
kiosk is located in the lower yellow section towards the middle. It is
under an arch.

Challenge: Find and grab the Precursor Orb before time runs out.

Strategy: Be sure to park a Zoomer near the kiosk before you begin the
mission. Talk to Torn and then hop on the Zoomer. From your location, 
go
towards the closest turret that’s shooting water. Follow the path by 
the
plants growing nearby it. When you round the corner, you should see a
Yakow pen. Keep on the path until you see a huge rock (not the one
inside the pen). Check behind the rock for this Orb.

Ring Challenge (#2)

Obtained: Complete the Catch Scouts in Haven Forest mission

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City in the menu, this
kiosk is located to the left of the entrance to the Hip Hog Saloon.

Challenge: Fly through the rings before the timer runs out.

Strategy: Like the first challenge, there will be a Zoomer provided.
Drive through the first ring and then into all of the rings (indicated
by green dots on the map). Stay in the lower Hover Zone unless you have
to avoid a guard or grab a ring in the upper one. Whenever you reach 
the
road above the bazaar, you must get out of the Zoomer, hop on your
Jetboard, and then follow the green dots to get the rings below. To
reach the rings in the air, jump and press R1 with the analog stick
pointed forwards to do a flip. When you reach it, skate up the ramp and
get the rings up here as well. Try to grab a single-seater Zoomer while
you’re up here to make the last rings easier. The last two rings are up
on the raised path in the Industrial section, so I suggest riding a
Zoomer up the ramp and then flying off the side with a high speed so
that you can grab the final ring.

begins, hop on you Jetboard. Keep checking your map of Haven City in

menu to get to the right location. It is in the eastern bazaar section,
in the area where there is a black box (right below the white shape in
the top left corner on the map).

Challenge: Move Underground Fighters to new locations.

Strategy: As soon as the mission starts, hop on the double-seater 
Zoomer
provided. This mission is exactly like the Shuttle Underground Fighters
one, so use the same strategy and move all four fighters. However, it 
is
a bit harder as the distances are longer and you have to travel to
several different sections of the city. Switch out Zoomers if yours 
gets
to beat up.

Challenge: Collect all the green eco before time runs out.

Strategy: Get on your Jetboard and head to the closest green dot. Use
either the Jetboard, walking on foot, or both to collect all the eco.
When you pick a cluster up, sometimes it isn’t counted immediately, so
collect them all as fast as you can. Also, the dots will disappear from
the map so you can’t tell where the eco is. I would suggest grabbing 
all
the eco outside of the middle structure first.

Onin’s Game

Strategy: Whew! It took me enough times to actually manage this one!
Anyways, HIT THE LOWER SYMBOLS FIRST! If you do this, than it will make
this challenge a lot easier. I suggest hitting whichever group came out
the earliest first. That way, symbols won’t fall. If you have to, pause
the game by pressing the Select Button. This will let you get a good
look at the symbols you have to press.

Strategy: I suggest using a Zoomer for this mission but it is possible
to get the Orb by just using the Jetboard. I will describe the
directions according to the map of Haven City in the menu. From the
kiosk, take the path northeast to your location. Turn right and head
towards the series of small black shapes. Go past the bottom of the
shape that looks like a little hat. When you exit out of the menu, you
should see a ramp leading up to an iron door. The Orb is on the ramp.

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City in the menu, this
kiosk is located in the Industrial Section in the section right next to
the lonely large, white square.

Challenge: Find and grab the Orb before time runs out.

Strategy: To grab this Orb, be sure to have a Zoomer (preferably a
single-seater) before you start this mission. Ride the Zoomer up the
ramp in front of you. When you reach the top, head for the path next to
the one you’re on. Keep up the speed and press L1 to jump across the
gap. If you’re not going to make it, press Triangle after jumping with
the Zoomer to jump even higher and land on the other path. Turn left 
and
grab the Orb on the corner.

Rewards: 3 Precursor Orbs: (#164, #165, #166)

Strategy: Hop on the Zoomer provided at the start of the mission. This
race is almost exactly like the race with Erol. However, your opponent
is much faster. My main problem here was barriers in the sharp turns
such as people in the way that threw me off course and of course the
turns around the palace. If you’re not worried about getting all of the
Orbs and just want to get the 200 for Hero Mode, I suggest skipping
these nine.

Ring Challenge (#3)

Obtained: Complete the Get Life Seed in Dead Town mission

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City in the menu, this
kiosk is located in the slums section, on the long path with a black
square in the middle. It is on the upper section of the path.

Challenge: Fly through the rings before the timer runs out.

Strategy: Hop on the Zoomer provided. Watch out for any traffic and
carefully go through each ring. Once you reach the Industrial Zone,
immediately go up the closest ramp to reach the next ring. Use the map
to see where the next ring is. After you get off the first path, you
will have to get on another one a few rings later. While on this one, 
be
sure to maintain your speed as you will have to hop over onto another
path. Press L1 to hop in the Zoomer.

Rewards: 3 Precursor Orbs (#184, #185, #186)

(facing away from the kiosk), go left, right, and then straight. The 
Orb
is in the southwestern corner of this little square area.

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City in the menu, this

Challenge: Destroy all of the Bombots.

Strategy: Again, there are three Bombots. However, you do not have to
hurry to destroy them all. When you are about to shoot at one, go right
next to the robot and shoot at it instead of shooting from a distance.
If you shoot from a distance, it will try and shoot you with an
electrical beam. It will not reach you if you are right next to it.

Rewards: 3 Precursor Orbs (#190, #191, #192)

Class 1 Race

Strategy: There are two shortcuts that you can use in this race. The
first one is right by the starting line. It is a narrow hallway shaded
in blue lights. The second one appears right after exiting the tunnel.
It is on the right side of the road and it has red arrows along it.

Street Race (#2)

Obtained: Complete the Win Class 1 Race at Stadium mission

Kiosk Location: According to the map of Haven City in the menu, this
kiosk is located on the eastern side of the Port, next to the path
leading to the Industrial Zone.

Challenge: 3rd Place Time: 3 Orbs; 2nd Place Time: 3 Orbs; 1st Place
Time: 3 Orbs

Strategy: Go to the bridge connecting the circular areas in the water 
to
find your Zoomer waiting. Although Torn says this race is harder, I
found it easier. You do not have to go through every ring, but they 
give
a nice speed boost. The other racer seems to give up after you pass him
as he will not drive past you as long as you maintain your speed. The
only hard part of this challenge is to stay on the path. Do not fall
into the water or else you will lose. The Gold is very easy to get on
this race.

Rewards: 3 Precursor Orbs for each place you beat (#206-#214)

square surrounding a single black rectangle north of the canal in the
Business District.

Strategy: Come to this mission with as empty a dark ego gauge as
possible. This way, the eco will be attracted to you. Hop on your
Jetboard and collect all 30 blobs of eco. If you do manage to fill up
your gauge, you’ll have to physically touch the eco to collect it. This
mission is rather easy, so you shouldn’t have many problems.

Rewards: 3 Precursor Orbs (#233, #234, #235)

Orb Find (#13)

Strategy: You must have a Zoomer to complete this mission. Go around to
the front of the palace (where Mar’s Tomb is located). Make sure that
you’re in the upper Hover Zone. Go to the right of the square and drive
along the right side at full speed. When you see the torch, drive
towards it. Just before you crash, jump out of the Zoomer to land in 
the
water by the torch to get the Orb.

follow the canal nearby until you reach its second turn. The Orb is
behind a small wall by a ramp.

Strategy: I’m including the Vulcan Fury and the Peace Maker Gun Courses
last, as they will not be available unless you collect the certain
amount of Precursor Orbs and the Orbs are not necessary to complete the
story.

Anyways, I would suggest completing this once you’ve gotten enough Orbs
for the Unlimited Ammo secret. Start the course and just shoot at any
robots you see. If you have the Unlimited Ammo equipped, then don’t be
afraid to just hold down R1 and shoot any robot in sight. Just be
careful not to shoot any citizens. The path just before the end of the
course is filled with robots and no citizens, so let loose. There are
many hidden gold robots in this section, so hold down R1 to get them
all.

Rewards: 3 Orbs for each place you beat (#242-#250)

Peace Maker Gun Course

Strategy: I’m including the Vulcan Fury and the Peace Maker Gun Courses
last, as they will not be available unless you collect the certain
amount of Precursor Orbs and the Orbs are not necessary to complete the

Anyways, I would suggest completing this once you’ve gotten enough Orbs
for the Unlimited Ammo secret. Start the course. I suggest just 
charging
up the Peacemaker and shooting at anything you see, except for the
citizens. The new, big robots can only be destroyed with the Peace
Maker, so remember to charge it up to kill more than one enemy.

Rewards: 3 Precursor Orbs for each place you beat (#251-#259)
