    Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy

    This guide is my first FAQ ever, so bear with me.  
    If I missed something that you think I should know

    This guide is a basic guide behind (most) of the
    psionic powers in Psi-Ops.  It also details the 
    complexmanuevers you can do to gain an edge on your 
    opponents.  Each of the psi-powers will be detailed
    (Except for Aura View) in this guide, as well as
    strategies and advanced techniques.  
    
    I am using XBox as the source system.

    Section 2.1
    -----------------------------------------------
    
    Telekinesis
    
    ===========
    
    Telekinesis is controlled by the left trigger, 
    and is used to move and throw objects.  Telekinesis
    is analog, which means that if you depress the 
    trigger, depending on how far you depressed it,
    the object will float at that height.  If you are
    moving the object in a direction when you release
    the trigger, then the object will be thrown. (Auto-locks
    onto enemies)  This is your Bread and Butter power, so
    get used to using it.

    Advanced
    ========
    
    -------------
    TK Multi-Lift
    -------------
    
    The TK Multi-Life is achieved by releasing the trigger
    and quickly depressing it again.  It lifts an object 
    higher then it might normal float.  Useful for retreiving
    items out of holes.

    TK Surf
    -------
    
    The TK Surf is a quick and easy way to sneak about or to 
    get to higher places.  To perform the TK Surf, climb on 
    an object, point your reticle at the object, and depress
    and hold the left trigger.  You should now be able to 
    float around on the crate/debris/whatever you are sitting
    on.
    
    ---------
    Free Look
    ---------
    
    The free look is most useful while Tk Surfing.  When you 
    press the white button while TK lifting, you will be able 
    to look around and fire, but not move the floating object.

    Strategies
    ==========
    
    ----------
    Enemy Slam
    ----------
    
    The simplest strategy in the game is to simply lift an enemy
    with TK and slam him against walla with a throw.  MP1s and
    civilians can be dispatched with one throw, MP2s with 3 or 4,
    and MP3s are immune to TK.
    
    ------------
    Object Throw
    ------------
    
    Same as above, but instead of slamming an opponent against
    an object, you slam the object against your opponent.
    Normally uses less Psi then an Enemy Slam.
    
    -------------
    Barrel of Fun
    -------------
    
    My favorite technique, you simply perform and Object Throw
    with any explosive material.  Kills an enemy in one hit,
    no questions asked.
    
    --------
    Retrieve
    --------
    
    Used for getting those hard to reach items, the retrieve
    is an Object Throw towards you on a collectable item, such
    as guns, medpacks, psicanisters, and various others.
    
    --------------
    Demorilization
    --------------
    
    This doesn't actually demorilize enemies, but it sure would
    in real life.  Simply TK a dead body and throw it at an enemy.
    Doesn't do much damage, but knocks enemies down.

    -----------------------------------------------
    
    Remote Viewing
    
    ==============
    
    Remote viewing is controlled with left on the directional pad,
    and used to scout areas only.  While in RV, you can not 
    defend your body, so make sure to find some cover before 
    using it.  It can pass throw breakable objects and doors.
    
    ========
    Advanced
    ========
    
    There are no advanced RV techniques that I know of.
    
    ==========
    Strategies
    ==========
    
    -------
    Monitor
    -------
    
    RV is used most often to monitor troop movements to allow
    for stealthier approaches.  You follow an enemy with your
    RV, noting his patrol path, and use it to your advantage.
    
    ----------
    Darkvision
    ----------
    
    Because RV brightens the surroundings, you can easily 
    navigate dark areas by scouting them first with RV.

    -----------------------------------------------
    
    Mind Drain
    
    ==========
    
    Quite possibly the most satisfying of the powers, mind
    drain sucks the psi energy from a dead or live host. 
    (Unable to be used on headless bodies)  The mind drain
    gains little from corpses, but when used on live targets,
    you gain a lot more Psi and the head explodes with a
    satisfying pop.  It can only be used from behind an enemy
    when they are alive.
    
    ========
    Advanced
    ========
    
    No advanced techniques. (See Combo Section for the advanced
    techniques used with MD.)
    
    ==========
    Strategies
    ==========
    
    There are no real strategies when using MD.  It is a simple
    technique with not much behind it except the enormous value
    of regenerating your Psi.  Simply get behind an enemy and
    use it.

    Section 2.4
    -----------------------------------------------
    
    Mind Control
    
    ============
    
    A devilish power, MC allows you to control one person until
    he/she dies or you run out of Psi.  It is controlled with up
    on the directional pad.  It can not be used on other Psi
    Agents (Bosses) or MP3s
    
    ========
    Advanced
    ========
    
    -------------
    Friendly Fire
    -------------
    
    While controlling an enemy, you are able to use whatever weapon
    they have as long as you are in their minds.  Great when used on
    flamethrower troops, rocket troops, snipers, and shotgunners.
    Note that when you shoot a friendly with your host all enemies 
    will focus their fire on him, so make your shots count.

    Strategies
    ==========
    
    --------------
    Suicide Bomber
    --------------
    
    This strategy involves get the host as close as possible to an
    explosive substance and shooting it.  Kills the host and returns
    control back to your character.  Best used when others are nearby.

    -----------------------------------------------
    
    Pyrokinesis
    
    ===========
    
    Pyrokinesis allows you to summon a wall of fire at will, causing it
    to move outward in the direction you are pointing.  It lights
    flammable objects on fire and explodes explosive barrels and crates.
    MP3s are immune to it.
    
    ========
    Advanced
    ========
    
    There are no real advanced techniques for this power.  However, there
    are combo techniques, so see the combo section for more.
    
    ==========
    Strategies
    ==========
    
    ----------
    Group Fire
    ----------
    
    When used into a group, PK catches multiple opponents on fire, devestating
    the group.  Also, when used on a group near a gas barrel, it will kill all
    within the Area of Effect of the blast.

    ************************
    *Combination Techniques*
    ************************
    
    Combination techniques use one or more powers to achieve a desired goal.
    They are necessary in order to get through some parts of the game.
    
    ------------------------
    Telekinesis + Mind Drain
    ------------------------
    
    When used with TK, MD becomes a much more powerful weapon.  You have
    two ways of using them in tandem:
    
    1.) TK an enemy that does not fire while floating (MP1s, Civilians,
    Zombies) and drop them once you are behind them.  Immediately press
    the MD button (Black) and the draining process will be as if you had
    snuck up on them.
    
    2.) Enemy Slam an opponent that fires while in the air (MP2s) against
    a wall or object.  Get behind them, and as they start to stand up,
    drain them.  They will be drained as if you had snuck up on them.
    
    -------------------------
    Telekinesis + Pyrokinesis
    -------------------------
    
    TK and PK are used to throw flammable objects at opponents.  Simply
    light an object on fire with PK (Such as a dead body or wooden crate)
    and hurl it at your opponent with TK.  Deals damage from both burning and 
    physics
