  1. Get the Nuke for Ratchet's ship. Then go to Gorn and choose the 2nd challenge. Aim the Nuke to the right of the object that is bobbing up and down. Fire the Nuke, and you should win this challenge in that one shot. When you get used to doing this, you can win this challenge every 5 or 10 seconds, making this probably the fastest way to get bolts.

  2. You might want to check out planets Tabora and Grelbin during your playthroughs. They don't afford a lot during the first playthrough, but later ones yield more bolts per crystal or moonstone found in their respective area. Having a high multiplier when killing enemies helps, too.

  3. After you beat the game you might want to try out some of the arena matches but make sure you power up your weapons first. Also like Death_Sythe007 and collect the crystals and moonstones too. Also do some of the space battles after the game of course.

  4. In some of the later levels, boxes give 1,000's of bolts apiece. Wait till you get to Boldan and grind the power cords and lumber yard. After the grind, go into the room ahead and bash open the boxes. This should get you like 12,000 bolts each time you do this. It helps if you have the Box Breaker. I think the amount of bolts you get each time you do this decreases, I'm not sure.

There are some rich boxes by your ship at Greblin, too.

You can use box breaker on the Dam on Todano. it gives you around 1,000 bolts each time. Once you break all the yellow things, jump off the Dam into the water and die. You may repeat this as many times for as many bolts as you would like. This would go kindof slow if you're aiming for 1,000,000 bolts, mind.

Also, be sure to collect all the crystals and moonstones. They give you lots of money on challenge mode. I just do the Impossible challenge on Joba. It gives you 200,000 bolts on first playthrough and 2,000,000 bolts on challenge mode!

  5. All you need is a Bouncer and a decent armor. Then go do the Impossible Challenge on Joba. The prize is 200,000 bolts then it's 60,000 bolts. Do this challenge several times and you should be rich.

  7. I find going to the Arena Battles and winning the fights gets you some bolts, and finding crytals or moonstones and trading them in for bolts helps too!!

  8. Several things that help:
    1. there are always boxes with a good amount of bolts by your ship when you land
    2. Try to keep a high multiplier in challenge mode. Frankly, try the clank shocker, the Killiniod, and the Telsa barrier all at the same time. If you have them all at max level, then you should be practically invincible. The Tetrabomb gun doesn't hurt either
    3. Always go through the spaceship challenges. Usually, they give you a good amount of bolts.
    4. Arena challenges are pretty fun, and give good bolts too!
    5. If you can, try to use guns that don't use ammo up, like the sheepinator or the walloper. Or, if you don't particularly favor cute, black, combustible sheep, just use guns that have cheap ammo or that can take out multiple enemies (Heavey Lancer, Tankbot Glove, and Tetrabomb Gun.)
    6. box breaker works wonders on large areas.
    7. Try to just use ammo from boxes around the levels instead of always buying it.

  9. An amazing user by the name of RSmit maxed out bolts in this game (until a negative sign appeared. Now he has negative bolts. Seriously. Check the board. See the youtube video). He did it by replaying the game in Challenge Mode... hundreds and hundreds of times. Of course, he got very good, and didn't get hit much, so a keeping a high multiplier is key. Areas don't have as many enemies or bolts when you return to them, so you do gain faster by just winning and replaying.

  15. The Nuke Trick is very fast once you learn it. The fastest method. 2500 bolts in 5-15 seconds. 10x that on Challenge mode.
