HI. Today I am here to present you with a guide to playing and completing
Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom. I'd like to let you know right away how
this guide will be setup: I will be guiding you through the entire game,
step-by-step, to fully complete it. 100%. This prevents the hassle of jumping
through the guide for information. I will also give you extra tips and info
along the way. Assuming you're not going to be doing this all in one shot
(it's a pretty long game) you can jump to the part of the guide you were at
without scrolling. To do so, copy the level number next to the level you're
on (from the Table of Contents) and press Ctrl+F. Then, paste the level number
and press enter. You should arrive where you left off. (For example, copying
and finding 5.2.2 will take you to the Jellyfish Lake section.)

A note: While this game may be easy for some, it may be hard for others, and
if you find this game hard, keep trying. The numbers and calculations of
Spatulas and Socks in the guide depend on you collecting every one you come
across, no matter how hard it is to get it.

(Sections 2-3 can be skipped. The game will tell you how to control your
characters as well as give you information on the miscellaneous items. These
sections are mainly for extra reference if you are having trouble.)

Lastly, GOOD LUCK!

P.S. If you have any questions, send me an e-mail: autumnskies15@yahoo.com.

Here's some things that might help you with the game.

+-------------------------------+
    3.1: Items and Objects
+-------------------------------+

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    3.1.1: Tikis
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

Wooden tikis: Normal tikis, not worth much value. Break them with any attack.

Floating tikis: Can still be broken with normal moves, but sometimes need
other moves to break them if they are out of reach.

Shhh tikis: Can be sneaked up to by Spongebob and hit, or Lassoed. Will
disappear if you get too close, unless Spongebob sneaks up to them.

Thunder tikis: Explode when hit. If you touch them but don't hit them they
will begin to thunder, then explode. Just make sure you're not in the blast.

Stone tikis: Can only be opened if thrown into water, shot by a cruise bubble,
or near a thunder tiki when it explodes.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+
    3.1.2: Other Objects
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

- Goo (water): Don't fall in it, because Patrick and Spongebob can't swim.

- Rickety platforms: Jump across these quickly to avoid falling, or have
Spongebob sneak across them.

- Golden Spatulas: Used to progress through the game, and are given as awards
for completed tasks.

- Socks: Like golden spatulas, except for smaller tasks. When you collect 10,
visit Patrick and you can trade them for a golden spatula.

- Shiny Objects: Star-shaped objects that the robots are 'leaving behind'.
Collect them to get past walls, open bungee hooks, and even buy lift tickets
at Sand Mountain. Also, if you collect a certain amount, you can trade them
in to Mr. Krabs for a golden spatula.

- Swing hooks: For Sandy's use only, press the circle button when near one to
swing on it.

- Throw fruit (watermelon): For Patrick's use only, pick these up and throw
them at buttons, enemies, platforms, etc.

- Freezy fruit: Also just for Patrick, pick these up and throw them into goo
to freeze it for a short amount of time. During this time, you can walk across
the frozen goo without getting hurt.

- Patrick teeter-totter: Patrick can stand on the starfish side and throw the
throw fruit (or other throwable object) onto the target when the hand points
to it.

- Bubble-bowl switch: Spongebob can bubble-bowl this to make it turn and
activate something.

- Duplicatatron: These things make robots; destroy them, but watch out for the
big explosion.

- Bungee hook: Just for Spongebob, jump to it to bungee down for a spatula,
sock, shiny object(s), or at times, just tikis.

- Teleport box: When you open one up, you should progress further into the
area you are in until you find another. Once you open up the second box in
that area, you may use them to teleport back and forth.

- Trampolines/springboards: Jump on them to bounce you in a specific
direction, or just upward.

- Bus stops: When near one, press R1 to switch characters.

- Spongewall/sticky wall: As Spongebob, jump up to one side of the wall and
press X, then jump to the other side and press X again. On sideways sticky
walls, you can control your location by adding direction with the D-pad or
left analog stick.

- Spongeball: Whenever you see a small yellow ball, Spongebob can walk into it
and turn into a rolling ball. You can move around like this, but if you get
hurt or press any buttons, you will return to a sponge.

- Underwear: Since your health is represented as "three pairs of underwear",
if you happen to get hurt, you will lose a pair. You can find other pairs of
underwear scattered across the levels, but you can only collect them if you
are hurt.

- Golden underwear: This special underwear allows you to wear an extra pair of
underwear each time you snag one. There are three, and each are located in the
different areas of Bikini Bottom.

- Checkpoints: Saves your progress inside a level so if you die, you return to
that checkpoint.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

+----------------------+
    3.2: Enemies
+----------------------+

Jellyfish: Sting attack.

Fodder: Extremely annoying eletrical zap attack.

Chomp-Bot: Barf attack.

G-Love: Spin attack. Defeated with belly slam/bubble bounce.

Ham-mer: Annoying smash (with ham) attack.

Tar-tar: Good at interfering with your game...shoots out tar-tar sauce.
Usually have to be hit twice.

Chuck: Most annoying robot, shoots missiles. Defeat with lasso, bash, cruise
bubble. Or, if it's close enough, you can jump up and hit it.

Bomb-bot: This one just follows you and explodes.

Sleepy-time: Doesn't do anything unless you get inside its "zone". Defeat by
sneaking up to him and hitting him, throwing throw fruit at him, or with the
cruise bubble.

Monsoon: Makes thunderstorms. Defeat with bash, throw fruit, or cruise bubble.

Arf: Shoots out arf dawgs. Defeat with bubble bowl, cruise bubble, or throw
fruit.

Arf Dawg: Products of the Arf robot, these run at you and explode. If you can
manage to not get hit by them they will defeat themselves.

Bzzt-bot: Shoots gamma rays, these are fairly avoidable. You can detect them
by hearing the annoying sound they make before they attack.

Tubelet: This triple-stacked set of robots can be defeated by avoiding the
bottom robot's fire, taking care of him, and then jumping up and hitting the
top two.

Slick: Shoots slippery oil blobs at you, and sports a nifty oil shield. You
must get rid of this shield with the Cruise Bubble or Sandy's lasso before
attacking him again.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

+----------------------------+
    3.3: Shiny Objects
+----------------------------+

The value of shiny objects are as follows:

Orange = 1

Yellow = 2

Green = 5

Blue = 10

Purple = 50

If you smash a certain number of tikis at once, you will get extra shiny
objects in exchange for the combo.

There are also three places where you can get the "Super-ultra-mega-monster
combo", which is worth a very large sum of shiny objects:

- On top of the sand castle in Goo Lagoon
- Inside the Rock Bottom museum
- At the beginning of Sandy's Dream, in the "Spongebob's Dream" level

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

+------------------------------------+
    3.4: Golden Spatula Access

UNDERWEAR - This is your current health.

GOLD SPATULA COUNT - These are how many spatulas you have ALTOGETHER.

SHINY OBJECTS COUNT - These are how many shiny objects you have ALTOGETHER.

The sidebar (in between the 2 jellyfish) with the dots is where you can scroll
through to see the other areas you have been to, and the ones you haven't been
to as well.

AREA NAME - The name of the area you are currently in when you pause the menu
(this changes when you scroll to different areas)

AMOUNT OF GOLD SPATULA TASKS - There are 8 main tasks per each area in the
game (excluding boss levels) and each rewards you with a gold spatula. The
black spatulas represent spatulas you have not earned yet, the gold spatulas
represent ones you have earned, and the question marks represent tasks you
haven't been assigned yet. To teleport to a task you have been assigned,
scroll to the spatula and take the taxi (press X).

SELECTED TASK NAME - The name of the task that you have selected.

OPTIONS - Game options. Save game, quit game, and adjust your settings here.

TAKE THE TAXI - Use this to "teleport" to a task in a level. Scroll over to
the selected task (Spatula) and press X to do this.

Level sock count - This represents the amount of socks inside the level; the
first number is how many you have earned in said level, and the second is how
many are in the level altogether.

Overall sock count - This represents the amount of socks you have earned
altogether during the game (not including the ones you have already returned
to Patrick).

Special items count - This represents the number of special items you have
accumulated during a specific level, such as the steering wheels in Downtown
Bikini Bottom or the children with balloons in Goo Lagoon. These items are
unique to the area and only show up on the pause menu when you are in that
area.

    3.6: Achievements Setup
+---------------------------------+

This is how each achievement per task will be set up.
(There are 100 spatulas and 80 socks in the game.)

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| GOLDEN SPATULA #(TASK #) | "Task name" | (amount accumulated)/100 |

                            (how to achieve)
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

     +-------------------------------------------------------------------+
     | SOCK #(amount in area) | (amount collected altogether)/80 |

                        (how to achieve)
     +-------------------------------------------------------------------+

Hopefully that's self-explanatory enough.

- When you return Socks to Patrick, the "amount collected altogether" for your
socks does not change. If you get a Sock that says 15/80 (for example) but
you've already returned 10 socks to Patrick, it will appear on the screen as
your 5th sock. (15 - 10 = 5)

Once you hear the theme song starting to play, you are prompted to press the
Start button. Once you do, you'll be led to the main menu, where you can:

- Start a new game
- Load a saved game
- Review options
- View credits
- View extras, where you can view other Nickelodeon previews.

Click "New Game".

You are asked if you would like to create a game file to save your progress.
Click "Yes". (You need a memory card to save your game, so make sure you have
one) Select which slot has the memory card in it, and choose a spot on that
card for your game.

Next, you'll see Plankton scheming up a diabolical plan to steal the Krabby
Patty formula. Unfortunately, he gets a little too cocky and decides not to
double-check his plans. He unleashes robots to obey his every move, and they
start spewing out of his machine. But just as Plankton's about to train them,
they turn against him. Plankton, oblivious as he is, forgot to switch the
lever to "Obey". The robots take him out of his own Chum Bucket.

Meanwhile, Spongebob and Patrick are playing with robots. Spongebob imagines
what it would be like to have real robots to play with. Patrick and Spongebob
both agree that playing with fake robots isn't enough anymore, so Patrick
takes out his "magic wishing shell" and they wish for real robots. Patrick
goes home and Spongebob goes to bed. Spongebob wakes up the next morning in
anticipation for the day, and runs to the living room only to find that
someone has trashed his house.

    5.1.1: Spongebob's Pineapple
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

Here's where we begin!

Thanks to Spongebob and Patrick's ridiculously bad timing, Spongebob thinks
this mess is their fault. Spongebob talks with Gary and he tells him that
you can read signs by pressing R1. Once you finish talking with him, go over
to the TV and read the news. The fish head news anchor tells you that robots
are running amok in Bikini Bottom and whoever is responsible is in "big, big
trouble".

The rest of Spongebob's Pineapple consists of lots of shiny objects. Explore
all the rooms and get all the shiny objects in each room. In one, you'll be
read a note from Mr. Krabs "promoting" Spongebob to Shiny Object collector.
You should return to him (he is outside, we'll get there later) to receive
your first task from him. Continue to go through his rooms. If you can't reach
some high-up shiny objects, try jumping on things or pressing triangle. Signs
will give you a tutorial on the basics as you progress through the house. At
some point you'll have enough objects to enter his closet (the door with the
50 shiny objects needed to get in).

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #4 | "Spongebob's Closet" | 1/100 |

This is probably the easiest spatula to achieve throughout the game. Just
walk into the closet and take it.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

(If you don't understand the setup of this ^ diagram, see section 3.6. This IS
your first spatula, but it is number 4 of this level. Pause the game, see for
yourself.)

If you haven't already, go up to Spongebob's attic. Read all the signs and
hit all the switches, except for the one by the door.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #1 | 1/80 |

When you press the button releasing the beach ball, either roll it over to
the doorway and stand on it to push the button or just jump to the top of
the door and then press it. Once you do, some platforms will extend out of
the wall. Use the trampoline you activated earlier to jump up to either
side. Jump up these platforms and a sock is sitting on the highest
platform. This is your first sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Go back to Spongebob's livingroom. The front door should have a 1 with a gold
spatula next to it - this just means you need 1 golden spatula to open it, and
since you have one, walk up to it and press R1.

------------------------------------------------------------+

***TO MAKE THINGS EASIER, Bikini Bottom has been divided into three parts.
The amount of spatulas and socks that you gain in the entire level of Bikini
Bottom is divided into those three areas. Part 2 is unlocked after you win the
battle at the Poseidome, and Part 3 when you win the battle at the Industrial
Park.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): None

(^ these numbers include what you collected in Spongebob's House, as well as
what you will collect at other areas [in this case, houses] in this level.)

After having a little chat with Plankton, Spongebob is convinced that Plankton
is the victim here, and he agrees to "help him out". Gather some of the shiny
objects and tikis to your left here and have a chat with Mr. Krabs. He agrees
to trade you Golden Spatulas for Shiny Objects, for the sake of the Krusty
Krab. After that, he will give you the speech he gives whenever you confront
him looking for a Spatula, and you don't have enough. The first Golden Spatula
requires you to trade 3000 shiny objects. Bubble Buddy will tell you how to
Bubble Bash, if you didn't know already. Head inside Squidward's House.

**BEFORE you go, I'd like to let you know that it's up to you to come back to
Mr. Krabs when you need more spatulas in exchange for shiny objects. The
amount you have will vary from the amount I have, so I'm not going to include
it in this guide.

    5.1.2: Squidward's Tiki

Squidward's not having a good day, so Spongebob offers to act idiotic to make
him smile.

Just jump around the room long enough and he'll give you a spatula.

Smash everything in Squidward's house (including the thing above the
fireplace) and hit the Squidward painting - it will appear in the window.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

You can leave Squid's house now.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Back in Bikini Bottom. Go to the right and talk to Patrick. He tells Spongebob
the robots stole all his socks, and he could use some help getting them back -
Spongebob gladly agrees. You will get a Golden Spatula for every 10 socks you
bring him, similar to the shiny object deal you've made with Mr. Krabs, only
with Patrick it's always 10 socks for a spatula, never more.

           +-------------------------------------------------------+
           | Sock #3 | 3/80 |

           +-------------------------------------------------------+

**AGAIN with the visits here, they will not be included in this guide - it's
up to you to come back whenever you want to trade.

Follow the shiny objects into Patrick's house.

IGNORE the button for now. Walk behind Squidward's house and behind Mr.
Krabs you should see a red image on the ground - the same thing you see
under floating tikis. Press triangle to activate a 40-second timer, along
some floating platforms between the roofs of Spongebob's and Squidward's
houses. Quickly go back to the button by Patrick's house and press it.
Jump to the top of Patrick's house then ride the platform to the top of

With four pairs of underwear equipped, you can head into Jellyfish fields!

SPECIAL ITEM(S): Jellyfish Jelly (1)

*For future reference, water in this game is referred to as "goo". Remember,
Spongebob and Patrick can't swim.

SQUIDWARD'S HURT! Spongebob takes it upon himself to help Squidward out. Start
heading down. You want to try and get lots of tikis when you have the chance -
they will give you the shiny objects for Mr. Krabs, so whenever you have the
chance, destroy them. Combos are especially good.

You meet your first enemy here. Just hit it once and it's destroyed. Head up
the stairs to your left and open the box. The signs in this level do a pretty
good job of explaining things, so I won't have to - just read what they say.
Ignore the sock in the goo to your left, you can't get it yet. Jump off the
steps and to your right you should see a tree with a bouncy top. If you want
some shiny objects, climb up the steps AND the tikis to bounce on it, but
there's nothing else up there.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #1 | 5/80 |

Go down the steps you used to get up to the bouncy tree. Follow the steps
up ahead and to the right where a robot is waiting. Follow those steps
around and into a cave where a wall of tikis is ready to be smashed. The
sock sits on the ledge behind them.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

You can't get the shiny objects ahead of you yet, so don't go jumping off the
ledge. Turn back around and head back a ways, then turn right and pay 125
shiny objects to open the clam (yes, you have to). Cross the bridge and reach
the [CHECKPOINT].

Continue on and start climbing up the steps to your left. Climb up to the high
ones. The ice block ("freezy fruit") is only for Patrick's use. Double jump to
the island with the yellow shiny object on it, in front of you; make sure you
wait a second in between jumps to give yourself maximum distance here. Do the
same for the island with the blue shiny object. Press the button. Barrels will
appear in the goo.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #2 | 6/80 |

Jump down to the barrel embedded in the ground, and then jump across the
rest of the floating ones, careful not to fall. Grab the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Get all those shiny objects to your right and use the trampoline to get back
to where you were. Jump off this island and head straight up the steps ahead
of you. To dodge this spiky ball coming out of the cannon ahead, just keep to
the right of the path, and only stray to the left when the spiky ball isn't
coming right at you. Smash the cannon. Talk to Gary and climb up the narrow
path to your right.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #2 | "Cowa-Bungee!" | 4/100 |

This is the first of many bungee-jumps you will have to do. The sign
tells you how it's done, so go ahead, jump to it. The shiny objects
hanging midair that you couldn't get earlier are the ones you're diving
for now, so get 'em all. Now dive straight downwards and get that spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump off the bungee hook and go back down the path. Turn right by where Gary
is. Press the button and climb up all the steps that are created.[CHECKPOINT].

New enemy up here. His name is "Ham-mer". He seems a lot tougher than he is,
and will attack you by smashing you with that meat mallet. Hitting him once
will destroy him, though. Defeat another "ham-mer" and ignore the pressure
pad/bowling game. Follow the path to your right up past a third ham-mer and a
wall of tikis. Follow this path around for more robots, and more, and then a
pink bouncy tree. Well, several of them, actually.

      +------------------------------------------------------------------+
      | Sock #3 | 7/80 |

Bounce across all the trees; the last one bounces you to a sock.
      +------------------------------------------------------------------+

The barrel-helicopter thing is just for show. Use this tree to bounce back.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #4 | 8/80 |

Jump onto the edge of the first bouncy tree closest to you. Use the right
analog stick to rotate the camera 180 degrees so that the other bouncy
trees are behind you and out of sight. Hopefully, you should see a orange
tree in front of you at the very top of your bounce. Whether or not you
do, at the top of your bounce, move forward and then after a second, jump
and you should make it to the section of land with the tree. In front of
you are some floating tikis. Jump up the tikis to a sock atop the
                                fountain.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump back down. You should be by the first bouncy tree. Head up the creaky
seesaw to your left. The other teleport box is here if you want to try it out.
And then comes your first match with a Duplicatotron 1000.

This machine can be especially annoying, what it does is spit out more robots
until you destroy it. Go for the machine first, killing robots in the way if
necessary, then go back and kill any robots you missed. (FYI: The explosion
from the D1000 will hurt you if you stand close, so stay back.)

Talk with Mermaid Man - unfortunately, Patrick's got himself surrounded by
robots and needs help. Open the teleport box and start sliding down your first
slide.

As soon as you hit the first jump on this slide, jump to the right onto
the other path. Follow this path for a short distance and you get a sock.

| Sock #6 | 10/80 |

Once you smash through the large wall of tikis at the end of this slide,
you will notice a platform sitting atop a large tower to the right, with
something glowing on top of it, that is the sock. You need to hit the
jump at the end of the slide with maximum speed and then double jump to
said tower to claim the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

If you don't get either of the socks on the first try, just jump in that box
at the bottom and you'll go back to the beginning of the slide. [CHECKPOINT].

If you walk forward, you'll hear some different music playing, and you get an
outlook of what's ahead of you. Three Duplicatotrons are sitting on islands
spewing out the robots that are on the large section of land. You need to
destroy each Duplicatotron, avoid the blast, and then hit the button by each.
Once you hit all three buttons, a path to Patrick is created. Go up the path
and talk to him.

Spongebob's pretty tired, so it's time to try out Patrick.

As Patrick, turn around and go back through the section you just completed,
the robots should be cleared now. Take the teleport box to the top of the
slide. Go past Mermaid Man and open the gate to go back to "Jellyfish
Rock", which is the area you started in. Head forward until you see
another teleport box. Jump in it; It will take you back to the beginning.
Head across the bridge from earlier again, and go up the steps to your
left again. Now you can use that "freezy fruit". Throw it into the lake
and it will freeze. Jump down and walk across the ice to the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Backtrack all the way to where Spongebob got tired and let Patrick take
charge (before you turned around for Sock #7). Jump down to where the bridge
is. The signs will start telling you how to do things again. Press circle to
pick up the fruit, quickly go across the bridge, and hit the button when the
two hands are pointing at the target (in this case, the button). Circle is
also used to throw the fruit.

When you get to the "Bus stop", you can try it out, but make sure you continue
on as Patrick, we don't need Spongebob yet. Quickly throw the fruit up the
steps, then to the button in the air to your left. Try out the teeter-totter,
it's easy to use. It will catapult you to a [CHECKPOINT].

Turn around and keep going. Touch the thunder tiki, don't hit it. Don't bother
with the small bouncy tree, it'll just take you back to the teeter-totter.
Plankton is waiting ahead of you. This next button is pressed just like you
would as Spongebob (X + Circle). Enter the caves.

The fireballs hurt. The signs tell you all you need to know, read them.
Eventually you reach a [CHECKPOINT].

The spikes get a little harder to maneuver here. When you get to the throw
fruit and the wall of tikis, aim at the thunder tiki so you get them all in
one shot. If you don't, just go back and throw another. The next gate will
close up after a while, so hurry through it. Now, you get to climb up the
throw fruits. Climb up one ledge, then another.

After you've climbed up the second ledge, turn around, there is a sock.
  +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+

another slide. [CHECKPOINT] at the bottom.

Head to your left. Throw the freezy fruit into the goo.

Walk on the ice. The sock is to the right of the waterfall.
        +-------------------------------------------------------------+

Get back on land and start climbing up the steps. Just read the signs if you
need any help. After the second Duplicatotron, you have to stun the robots
and throw one of them at the switch to your left. Do this by belly-flopping
near the robots.

Once you've hit the switch, the gate by it will open up. Jump to the

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

If you've forgotten what your original goal was here, Mr. Krabs will remind
you - you need to defeat King Jellyfish and bring the jelly back to Squidward.
Another new enemy, "Tar-tar" here likes to shoot sauce at you three times, and
unless you move, he will hit you. You usually have to hit these robots twice
to kill them. Continue ahead, beware of the abundance of jellyfish up here.
Talk to Mrs. Puff.

To get this golden spatula, cross the bridge. A hidden Duplicatotron will
start spewing ham-mers at you. You need to stun 5 and throw them at the
orange things pouring goo into the lake. In doing so, the lake will get
more shallow and the spatula will become visible. Grab it.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Go back to where Mrs. Puff is. Ignore the bus stop and head right. These are
what the Shhh tikis look like; Just ignore them for now. Hit one of the
thunder tikis and it will create a chain, destroying the Duplicatotron. Kill
the tar-tar. [CHECKPOINT].

Behind the waterfall is some shiny objects and underwear, if you want/need
them. Some more robots up ahead. Continue along this path. The steps to your
left with the Tar-Tar (before the teleport box) lead to something you can't
achieve yet, so ignore them. Open the teleport box and continue forward.
[CHECKPOINT].

More robots. Eventually you get introduced to a stone tiki. These are mostly
indestructible, but it can be blown up by thunder tikis, as well as thrown
into goo to destroy it. The platforms to your left lead to a narrow strip with
some tikis, as well as a purple shiny object under the strip. To get it, fall
into the water right where it is sitting. If you fail a couple of times, just
skip it. Then you have three ham-mers and a wall of tikis. Past that, you must
pay the clam 2000 shiny objects. You must. After that, climb up some platforms
and defeat a Tar-tar. Across the strip is a [CHECKPOINT].

There are two ponds of goo up here. Ahead of the second pond and to the left
are some platforms.

Jump across these platforms. Each jump must be a double jump, or you

   +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+

The bouncy tree will bounce you back. Jump across the strip with shhh tikis on
it and go to your right to open a teleport box. [CHECKPOINT].

Kill the Tar-tar and head right. Before jumping up to the three wooden tikis,
keep left and go down the path to the left of where you see freezy fruit.

Past the 5 blue shiny objects are some ledges leading to a sock.
      +------------------------------------------------------------------+

this time. Up this steep slope is a long seesaw, don't wait too long to jump
at the end. Jump down and kill the robots. The smaller seesaw to your left
only leads to shiny objects. Destroy the thunder tiki and it will create an
explosion. Use the bus stop here, this is the end of Patrick's turn. As
Spongebob, take the sticky wall up to the top. The sign explains it for you.

Bubble Buddy gives you a word of luck. Notice the three invisible pairs of
underwear - if you get hurt, come down here and grab one.

Head up a little further and you'll see King Jellyfish bzzing. Spongebob is
surprised. He notices Spongebob, though, and comes out to attack. This is your
first mini-boss. Defeating him is pretty easy though, you only have to hit him
three times.

- FIRST HIT: Avoid his electric wave, then quickly swing at him.
- SECOND HIT: He will send out jellyfish to attack you before doing the same
attack twice. Avoid them and the electric wave, then swing again.
- THIRD HIT: He sends out more jellyfish, this time they are bigger and
purple, but are just like the others. Three electric waves this time. Hit him
once more.

You will get a spatula for this, don't worry. Also, you have acquired the one
special object for this level: The [KING JELLYFISH JELLY 1/1]. On the other
side of the now empty pool is a teleport box. Open it. Then, go in between the
shower curtains and start sliding down a long path.

keep straight, you will end up on another path. At the end of this path
                               is the sock.

Follow the path for a little ways. At the end, do a large double jump.
You should end up on a small platform with the spatula.

Walk up to Squidward. He's much better now, and rewards you with a spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

That's it for Jellyfish Fields for now! Turn around and take the taxi back to
Bikini Bottom.

END JELLYFISH FIELDS WITH:
- 11 Golden Spatulas
- 16 Socks

(These are the minimum amount by this point, not including deals made with Mr.
Krabs or Patrick. If you have made deals with them in exchange for Spatulas,
your numbers could be different.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You should be back in Bikini Bottom now. If you'd like, you can make some
deals with Mr. Krabs and Patrick in exchange for more Golden Spatulas.

For future reference, at the end of each level, I'd still like you to check
the amount of Spatulas and Socks you should have, NOT including deals you've
made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick. Here's how.

PART ONE. Check the Pause menu; if you scroll down far enough you can find
Mr. Krabs and Patrick. Add up the amount of Golden Spatulas that you've earned
from each and then subtract that number from the amount of Golden Spatulas it
says you have when you press R2. If that number matches the number I said you
needed to have at the end of the level, then you're good!

PART TWO. For every deal you make with Patrick, you lose 10 socks, so ADD 10
to your overall sock count for each Golden Spatula you've earned from Patrick.
If that number matches the number I said you needed to have at the end of the
level, then once again, you're good!

If the number did NOT match for either of those, you either did simple math
wrong, or you didn't get all the Spatulas/Socks in the level.

You understand? I hope so. If you don't, then just do yourself a favor and
wait until the end of the game to make deals with Patrick and Mr. Krabs.

Now that that's covered. Head into Downtown Bikini Bottom - it's to the right
of where you exited Jellyfish fields, and costs 5 Spatulas to enter.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): Steering Wheels (11)

A short narrative tells you the more populated section of Bikini Bottom has
been mostly destroyed by the robots. Mrs. Puff immediately comes to you to ask
for help. She needs you to collect all the steering wheels. These are the
special items in this level. When I tell you how to collect one, I will refer
to it as [STEERING WHEEL (#)/11].

As this is the way I have done it when I have played this before, and I highly
believe it to make things easier, I suggest you open up access points through-
out the level now as it makes it easier to get through the level later. Here's
how.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
The sign tells you about the Spongeball. When you are one, pressing
buttons, falling into water, going out of bounds, or getting hurt will
make you return to sponge form. Press the button in front of you and
quickly walk through the Spongeball and roll through the gate.

You have to deal with this new enemy before you do anything else. The
"G-love" will spin around, preventing attacks from the side. Bubble
bounce him instead. After he's taken care of, press another button and
roll through another gate, avoiding the spilled hot sauce. After you roll
through the gate, go back and touch both of the two thunder tikis by the
fences on the left side. Then go back to the Checkpoint by the bank. To
your right is another thunder tiki, touch it to demolish that fence.

Turn left, avoiding the sinks and armchairs being thrown at you, and
activate the thunder tiki on top of the button at the end of this path.
Press the button and use the spongeball to get on the ramp, which will
give you air to get across the pit (use the boat as a second bounce).

Immediately, more furniture is being shot at you, so stray to the left.
Hit the thunder tiki here and another fence will be blown up. Then, press
the button under the window spewing out the furniture. It will shut.
Follow the road in the direction of the arrow near the button. Another
spongeball, use this one to jump the ramp and get through the life
preserver sitting in the fence. Destroying the Duplicatotron will blow up
that fence.

WALK TO THE RIGHT OF THE CHECKPOINT to avoid Gary - we don't need to talk
to him yet. Another thunder tiki chain to your right will blow up another
fence, and the one in front of you will blow up yet another. Now, this
level should be easier to get through.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Walk through the fence in front of you and become a Spongeball. Roll quickly
straight past all the hot sauce as to avoid the furniture that's about to
come. Turn right when you get to the bank (don't go through the blown-up
fence), and then left again at the 4-way intersection. Through the fence, you
should end up where you started.

Grab [STEERING WHEEL 1/11] as you go through the blown-up fence, it should be
on top of some wooden tikis, or just hanging in the air if you've destroyed
them. Ignore the wheel on the awning to your right for now. Turn left and
you'll meet a new enemy, not that you haven't noticed by now. These things
breathe nasty breath on you, and it does do damage, apparently. They can be
killed with asingle hit, though.

Continue and that direction, and a cannon will start firing sinks at you.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

BEWARE THE SINKS. The cannon knows where you are, so every sink it fires
will have the accuracy to hit you right where you're standing. There are
four stacks of tikis here, and each is topped with a thunder tiki. To make
the stacks blow up, stand a small distance behind them, and wait for the
cannon to fire a sink. If you see it hit a stone tiki, then you are too
close and probably need to move back a bit, or you can try jumping when
it fires. Basically, just stand behind the stacks and wait for the cannon
to blow them up. Once the stack has been blown up, press the button. Then,
move on to the next stack. Repeat for all four stacks. When you press all
4 buttons, a spatula will appear at the top of the statue in the center.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Climb to the top of the statue and retrieve the spatula. Sitting atop the
statue, and facing Mrs. Puff's direction, look to your right. You should see
the fence (broken now), the gray bank with two windows, and to the right of
that, some tikis. Jump down to the tikis and destroy them. Past that, you
should walk into a broken pipe with a Tar-tar.

After you defeat the Tar-tar, you should see a sock, grab it.
       +---------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, return to where Mrs. Puff is. Past the Spongeball and large red button,
go through the gate which you've hopefully opened. To the right you should see
a stack of wooden tikis. Don't destroy them. Climb them, then jump to the
floating tiki. Then jump to the awning on the other side of the building that
you're by. On the awning ahead of you is [STEERING WHEEL 2/11]. Go back to the
path you were just on and continue on the road, following the direction of the
yellow arrows in the road.

When you reach the 4-way intersection, turn left and defeat the G-love. Behind
him is [STEERING WHEEL 3/11].

Continue on that path past the bank and the flying furniture. Use the
Spongeball to cross the pit again. Defeat the robots to your left if you wish.
Bubble Buddy tells you that the lighthouse is locked from the inside, so you
can't get in from where you are right now.

You'll notice a trampoline by Bubble Buddy. Jump on it to get on the first
brownish platform. These are very slippery, so be careful while jumping
across them. Climb these platforms to a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Follow the path. At the ramp and life preserver, there is an intersection;
turn left. You should see a clam with 2100 objects needed to get in. Pay the
toll, you should definitely have enough. Enter the Sea Needle.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    5.3.1: Sea Needle
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

Mr. Krabs tells you the Sea Needle's broken. He doesn't care though, he just
wants you to make him more money by breaking tikis. This section is all about
bungee jumping. You'll notice four doors in here (excluding the Exit) so enter
the only one that's open. Walk up to the window after the [CHECKPOINT] and
bungee down. Destroy every tiki you see here. Once there are none left, exit
this bungee.

The path to your left leads to a dropoff, so head right. Defeat the Tar-tars,
get your [CHECKPOINT] and bungee down again. Good. Oh, make sure you don't die
for any reason, because once you do all the tikis will reappear. Make sure you
get every tiki, then exit the bungee. Before going right, turn around and
snatch [STEERING WHEEL 4/11]. Press the button to open the door.

Turn around and turn right. Get closer to the strange-looking robot: His name
is Chuck. He gives a beep of warning before throwing water missiles at you.
As he throws his first missile, jump to another platform, then quickly jump up
and hit him. Make sure you attack before he attacks again. Once this robot is
taken care of, head across the rest of the platforms.

Third and last bungee right here. After smashing all the tikis, you should
hear the familiar noise of completing something. Quit the bungee and turn
around. Defeat the G-love and grab [STEERING WHEEL 5/11]. Press the button.

Go through the door and get your Spatula from Mr. Krabs.
         +----------------------------------------------------------+

That's it for here, exit through, well, the exit door.

------------------------------------------------------------+

You should be back in the streets now.

Go forward, turn left, defeat the Duplicatotron and meet up with Gary. He
tells you that you need Sandy to help you here, since the gaps, without her,
are just impossible to get across. Open the teleport box before you go. This
should also be a [CHECKPOINT].

Head up the steps to your right. Change into Sandy at the bus stop and after
reading the sign, climb up the steps ahead. Before hovering over to the
rooftop with the arrow on it, do a single jump down. You should pick up
[STEERING WHEEL 6/11], which is sitting on a boat. Backtrack and make your way
up here again.

Hover to the roof. If you'd like, there is a purple shiny object below guarded
by a G-love. You can get it but you have to backtrack all the way to this spot
again. Either way, keep going. Hover and jump across a few more ledges until
you reach a particularly large gap with tikis on the other side. Look to your
right.

To your right is a broken pipe with a light blue building in between the
two sections. Jump/hover to the first section and you will see the sock
on the other section of the pipe. Jump/hover to it to get the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump down to the arrow next to the button and Spongeball. To your left is a
chain of thunder tikis. At the end of this chain is a trampoline that will
bounce you back to where you were. Follow the rooftops once again to the gap.
Jump and hover across this long gap. [CHECKPOINT].

The signs tell you how to destroy the tikis. To the left is your first swing
hook. Press circle when you get near it to swing. Take care of the robots and
Duplicatotron. Then, ahead of you are several swing hooks. Swing from hook to
hook. Open the teleport box and get on the platform with the green shiny
object. To your right is the cannon that was shooting furniture at you. Hover
to it and destroy it, and go forward for [STEERING WHEEL 7/11]. Take the
teleport box by Gary and the yellow building to get back on the roof by the
swing hooks.

Turn around and get on the last swing hook you used to get here. Start
swinging and face the goldish-yellow building to your left. Once you've
gained enough momentum, do a double jump and then hover to the
reddish-brown ledge on that building. A sock is on the other side of that
                                  ledge.

platform again.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+
    5.3.2: Downtown Rooftops
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

Sandy makes a deal with Larry here to replace his old antenna with his new one
and he even lets her take the old one for herself (the old one is actually a
Spatula). Before this, though, turn around and head around the building you
entered here in.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Change into Spongebob at the Bus Stop and press the button to your right.
A trampoline will appear. Jumping in the center will destroy a lot of
floating tikis. Jump onto the windmill. Behind the blades is a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Change into Sandy and hover across the first gap, to the left of Larry, to a
rooftop. Here, you are formally introduced to the Robot by the name of Chuck.
The missiles he fires are accurate to your position and have a water-filled
blast impact, so avoid them as much as possible. Swing across the swing hook
and karate kick him. Jump up to the next rooftop and hover to the next, beware
of the Tar-tar. Collect [STEERING WHEEL 8/11] on top of the pipe here. The
floating platform to your left works like an elevator. More robots and some
swing hooks. It's a little difficult not to get hit by the G-love here, so
just make sure he doesn't send you over the edge if he gets you. Hover to the
next roof. [CHECKPOINT].

Feed the clam 2100 shiny objects. Press the button and many, many swing
hooks will appear. Swing across them all before the timer runs out and
the spatula at the end is all yours.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump down, the teleport box will take you back.

Swing across a single swing hook here. A Tar-tar is waiting on the rooftop to
your right. Take the trampoline to more robots. Before getting on the
conveyor belt, turn around and hover to [STEERING WHEEL 9/11]. Hover back
again and take the conveyor belt. This next swing hook is a little low, but
not too hard to swing on. Just be ready to press circle. Up ahead is a bunch
of robots. Hit the button behind the Duplicatotron to activate a trampoline.
Bounce across these trampolines to a [CHECKPOINT].

Hover to the island with the Chuck on it, avoiding his missiles as you go.
Take the elevator-platform to a whole lot more of elevator-platforms. On one
of them is [STEERING WHEEL 10/11]. Avoid the Tar-tar near the last few
platforms, then kill him. More robots and platforms. Ahead is a slide.

At the end of the slide, don't jump. Turn around. There is a sock sitting
                         next to the trampoline.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take the trampoline back up and slide down again. This time, double jump at
the end to the higher rooftop. Another swing hook and more conveyor belts
here. Don't lasso the Chuck, avoid his missiles and wait until he stops
firing, then karate kick him.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    5.3.3: Lighthouse
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

This is a pretty straightforward.. er, challenge. Your main priority here is
the Duplicatotron(s). Defeat them and then defeat the robots. Once you do, the
ground breaks and you drop a floor. The final floor is a bit chaotic but you
should be okay.

HINT: On the last floor, quickly hit the thunder tiki in the center and move
out of the way. The rest of the stone tikis will drop down from the floor
above right as it explodes and you get a Super-Ultra-Mega-Monster Combo. :D
(If you miss your opportunity, don't worry about it.)

Grab the spatula as your reward for defeating all the robots.
       +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Don't go through this door. Turn around and collect [STEERING WHEEL 11/11] and
press the button.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Trampolines will appear. Jump up all of them to get back up to the top
floor. On the last trampoline, jump to the right to get the sock hanging

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump back down to the bottom of the lighthouse. Go through the door on the
bottom floor.

------------------------------------------------------------+

We're done here! To the left is your taxi to Bikini Bottom.

END DOWNTOWN BIKINI BOTTOM WITH:
- 18 Golden Spatulas
- 24 Socks
(These numbers do not include deals made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do whatever you need to do in Bikini Bottom. The next place we're heading is
Goo Lagoon, which is near Patrick's House. You need 10 Spatulas to get in.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): Balloon Children (5)

This is a nice beach level to go through. A sign tells you how to use the
bubble bash (triangle) to flip platforms. Once you have, you can walk across
the platform and continue on. (The bubble bash is the main thing you'll be
working on in this level). Up here is the [CHECKPOINT].

You are quickly introduced to a new enemy. The "Monsoon" here will create a
small lightning storm and send it to your location. To avoid getting zapped,
just walk under him and bubble bash him. Larry is up ahead. A robot stole
everyone's sunscreen, and you have to try and connect the towers to reflect
the sun's rays onto him.

- Push the button on the tower by Larry first.
- The ray is reflected to a tower in the distance. To get to that tower, use
the fish sunbathing in the water as your trampoline. Then press the button on
the right side of that tower.
- The ray is reflected to the tower to your left. Go to that tower and press
the button on the far side of the tower (opposite the button by the teleport
box).
- The ray is reflected to another tower to your left. Press the button on that
tower that is next to the "?" sign.
- As the sign tells you, you can't get to the next tower quite yet, so this
task is put to rest for a while.

There is one tower here that didn't get used at all in this. Next to it is a
bus stop. Change into Patrick. Turn around and walk to the left of the tower
by Larry. Walk up the steps to the left of the Monsoon; if you really want to
kill him as Patrick you can throw something at him. At the top of these steps
is a Duplicatotron and a [CHECKPOINT].

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #1 | 25/80 |

Jump onto the top of the tower where a throw fruit awaits you. Throw it
at the button in the air to your right, and follow the floating towels
to the next tower. Do this for all the towers. At the end of the last set
of towels, a sock is sitting on the top of the tower.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Change back into Spongebob at the Bus Stop. Head across the beach past the
last lifeguard tower, and descend down some logs in the water where Mrs. Puff
is waiting. She tells you that the children are having dangerous fun with
their balloons and you need to put a stop to it. To pop the balloons, bubble
bash them. The first kid here is easy. [BALLOON CHILD 1/5]. Remember, you want
to try and pop the balloons, not the children.

Head up the stairs to your right. It's a little harder to bash the balloons
here, since you can only stand on logs, but you should get it. [BALLOON CHILD
2/5]. More stairs. In the next section, the logs with the yellow and blue
stripes begin to sink when you step on them. I suggest you clear out the
robots first before trying at this one. [BALLOON CHILD 3/5]. Drop down. There
is a fork in the path here. The left path has a wall of tikis. Take that one.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #2 | 26/80 |

Follow the path around to an opening in the fence. You should see the
sock sitting on the roof of the Juice Bar.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take the path back around. This time, take the right fork down past a
[CHECKPOINT].

Change into Patrick at the Bus Stop here. You should see three stone tikis
stacked on different steps.

Ahead of you is a wall with a green shiny object and a Checkpoint sitting
on top. Throw one or two of the stone tikis at the wall and use them to
climb up it. Jump on the tiki(s) and double jump to get to the top of the
wall. [CHECKPOINT]. Feed the clam 2200 Shiny Objects to get past here.
Ahead of you now should be a throw fruit and button. Throw the fruit at
the button. A series of springboards, rafts, and sea dragons will appear.
Time your jumps across the trampolines and rafts as to avoid the fire
from the sea dragons and not fall in the goo. At the end of this path is
                               a spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Just die here (drown), it's easier than making your way all the way back
through this since you end up at the checkpoint anyway. Go back to the Bus
Stop and change into Spongebob.

Follow the logs in the water to a small island. Kill the Monsoon as quickly as
possible. Then, since you can go right or straight, go straight here. Save
[BALLOON CHILD 4/5] here. Across some springboards are more sinking logs. Be
careful as these ones will sink right into the goo. With difficulty, save
[BALLOON CHILD 5/5] and follow the path to a nice purple shiny object. Take
the platform back to Mrs. Puff.

Mrs. Puff hands you the Spatula as a reward.
             +--------------------------------------------------+

Follow that path around again until you get to the part where you could
continue on straight, or go right. Go right this time. Across another fish
trampoline, and some sea dragons, you should make your way to an island with
a giant sand castle.

Walk to the left of the teleport box to where a green fish is walking
around. Above her is a stairway of tikis. Bubble bash the floating tiki,
then quickly climb up the rest of the tikis. Try to avoid stepping on the
thunder tiki. At the top, jump to the top of this sand castle. On the
other castle tower is a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump down and talk to Bubble Buddy. He tells you a Spatula sits atop this huge
sand castle. Break the tikis up ahead and press the button to lower the gate.
Water will begin to fill up the area. Climb the things on the ground until you
reach a fish trampoline. Bounce on him until the water lowers again. Then,
jump off the fish, turn around, and land so you're facing the wall where a sea
dragon is breathing fire upward. Look up and to your right. You should see a
a platform, in an opening in the sand castle, under a blue and white striped
awning.

Go outside to the castle entrance and change into Patrick at the Bus Stop.
The gate is obviously already open now, but press the button to flood the
area anyway. Climb up all of the obstacles this time, and do it quickly.
Go across some planks around the edge of the wall, and you will reach
some freezy fruit. Quickly throw it into the flooded goo. Walk across the
ice to the platform and collect the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Wait for the water (goo) to lower again, then go back outside and change into
Spongebob at the Bus Stop. Go into the sand castle once more (you don't have
to flood the area a third time). Go up the obstacles again and follow the
wooden platforms and planks around the edge of this wall, ignoring the freezy
fruit this time. Time your jumps across the three planks at the end to avoid
the dragon fire. Destroy the Duplicatotron. [CHECKPOINT].

Turn around and start to make your way around the border of the castle wall. A
cannon will start firing beach balls at you, they all go in the same direction
but are shot at different heights. Destroy it. A couple robots, then another
cannon. These beach balls are a bit harder to avoid. Destroy this cannon and
make your way to the top of the castle.

to a barrel, then to another plank. Then, jump to the blue and white striped

At the top of your bounce, you should see some tikis to your left. Make a
high double jump towards those tikis at the top of your jump and you
should land on or near the sock at the top of them. Either way, get it
quickly and jump down the logs on the other side of this tower.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

The "Super-Ultra-Mega-Monster Combo" you just made is worth a lot of shiny
objects. You can come back here whenever you'd like if you need shiny objects.
This comes in handy in later levels when you have to feed a lot of clams.

Go across the bridge and open the gate.

    5.4.1: Goo Lagoon Sea Caves
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

Gary informs you of the Spatula at the end of this cave. Before anything, turn
around and open the teleport box. You need Spongebob for this section, so if
you're playing as Patrick, change characters. Then, start heading through
these caves.

The water rises and lowers here, so time your jumps. The first button you
press will drop two giant stalactites into the water. They will serve as
things you can walk on later.

After pressing the first button, to your left is a log sticking out of
the water. Jump on it and turn the camera so you can see under the ledge
you were just on. Under it is a sock. Time the water's depth at the time
that you get it so you don't fall in.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump back up. Jump to the top of tower-like structure. It will move as you go
to the other side of it. Jump onto the rock and destroy the thunder tikis. You
only need to bubble-bash the plank to your left, this will lead you to the
path to your right. Jump off the plank to the path. [CHECKPOINT].

Avoid the falling/rolling mines here. When you get to the end of the path the
mines fall on, jump up to the floating tiki to your left.

Jump across all the floating tikis in the air. They lead to a higher path.
Follow this higher path, and at the end of a swarm of robots is the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Make your way back to the end of the path with the floating mines. Jump on the
next tower and bubble-bash a second button. Another stalactite will fall for
you to walk on. [CHECKPOINT] on the bridge.

Follow this path around. Another [CHECKPOINT]. It's pretty straightforward
from here. When you get to it, hit the other plank at the intersection (if you
haven't already), and follow the path going straight. This will take you to an
island with a Ham-mer and a Monsoon.

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+
    5.4.2: Goo Lagoon Pier
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

Mr. Krabs asks you to get rid of the robot in the ticket booth. So, go ahead
and do so by throwing a robot or throw fruit at it. The impact creates a chain
of events, further damaging the pier. Return to Mr. Krabs.

He tells you instead to clear the robots out of the bumper boats. Start making
your way over to that section over the pier.

Start up the path that the robot's destruction created. Riding the ferris
wheel to the bottom only gives you a shiny object. After a ways, you should
see a throw fruit and an attraction called "Wack A Tiki" to your right.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #9 | 33/80 |

Throw the throw fruit at the button to activate the game. Tikis will
randomly appear and disappear out of the holes in the ground. Break them
all before the 30 seconds goes by and you get a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Careful across the moving platforms here. The teacups only give you shiny
objects. [CHECKPOINT], and then another [CHECKPOINT].

Spongebob can't play the Skee-ball game up ahead until he has the Bubble-bowl
move. Keep going.

Up ahead is a throw fruit with an icy-ground section to the right of it.
(Skating rink..?) Anyway, pick up the throw fruit and slide past the
robots, CAREFUL NOT TO PICK UP SPEED. When you reach the end, throw the
fruit at the Duplicatotron. It's okay if you fall off, as long as you hit
it and you hear the noise you get whenever you complete something, the
sock will be there when you come back.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Make your way back across the ice and get on the rotating platform. You can
get on the slide here if you'd like, but again, you only get shiny objects.

In this section of the pier, you should see a booth labeled "FOod DRinks".
To the left of it is a "Clamsicles" cart. Jump on top of the cart and
then jump on top of the Food&Drink booth to the right. Grab the sock.

To the right of the throw fruit, you should see some platforms going
under the bumper boats. Take them. The second has a [CHECKPOINT] and on
the third is some freezy fruit. Throw it into the lake and walk straight
across the ice, without making any turns. You should stop at a second
platform with more freezy fruit. Wait until the ice thaws, then throw
this freezy fruit into the lake. Once the lake freezes, you should see
where the Spatula is, it's a little to the left, under the left dock up
here (slide across the ice to get to it).
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, just die, you'll end up back at the checkpoint. Turn around and get on
the platform with the Patrick teeter-totter. Take this to get to the island
with the robot.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Change into Spongebob at the Bus Stop. Bubble-bash the button on the right
side of the tower here and the ray from earlier will be reflected on to the
robot, killing him. Use the trampoline that appears to return to the beach.

  \--------------------------/

This is your first boss battle.

King Neptune tells you what's going on. So, to defend the Poseidome, you are
set up against a giant robot Sandy.

Giant..Robot..Sandy.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #1 | "Rumble At the Poseidome" | 27/100 |

- ROUND ONE: Sandy's first attack consists of smashing her arm against
the floor. This creates a small ring of dust. Then, she will jump to
wherever you're standing, so make sure you get out of the way. After
she lands, she will sit confused for a second. While the Sandy robot is
confused, bubble bounce it. Its head will pop off for a bit. Repeat this
                             two more times.

The scoreboard will fall from the ceiling, and Patrick begs Spongebob for
                                 a turn.

- ROUND TWO: This time, Sandy's arm creates a ring of dust that's a bit
bigger than before, so jump it if you need to. Then, Sandy does a new
move, as the announcer calls it "the old clothesline move". She will go
to one edge of the fence and from there, shoot across the ring while its
legs span the length of the ring. Just jump over this. Then, the same as
before, it will try and jump on you. Belly flop it, and its head will pop
off and start rolling around. You should pick up the head and throw it
into the electrical wires coming out of the scoreboard that has fallen
down. This will hurt the robot. Repeat this two more times.

Spongebob, seemingly more worried now, goes back in for the last round.

- ROUND THREE: This is similar to the last round. The "clothesline move"
is now harder to get through, as the wires are on top and bottom now. To
avoid getting hurt, just do a single jump between the wires. Once again,
it will try to jump on you. Bubble bounce it like before, and it will
hold its head out in front of you. The goal here is to bubble bash the
head. Once you do, quickly move away from the robot as it only takes a
second to recover. Repeat this two more times.

The robot will collapse to the ground. As a reward, you receive the
"bubble bowl" move, along with the Spatula.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): None

You are taken here after the Poseidome battle. Immediately upon your arrival
you confront Plankton about the origin of all the robots - the Chum Bucket.
He agrees to keep helping him.

Now, this next area is pretty neat to explore. Walk up to Bubble Buddy and he
will tell you how to use the Bubble Bowl - just press circle. You'll notice
a Spongeball has appeared in the center of this section to allow easier
access. There's another one near Squidward's house as well.

Once you've had your fun, head into Sandy's treedome.

You have 2 minutes and 40 seconds to destroy all the robots in here. I
recommend taking care of the Duplicatotrons as quickly as possible before
the rest of the robots. There is a new enemy in here - Bomb-bot - it is
detected by the beeping noise it makes, which increases in speed until it
explodes by you. Once you finish this, Sandy gives Spongebob a Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

You can leave now.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Across the street, you should see a building called "Shady Shoals Rest Home",

Not much to do in here, but stand on the pressure pad to your right. Here, you
can view the description of all the robots you've encountered thus far. Once
you're done using this, head back outside, there's nothing else in here.

Stand on the pressure pad and the gate guarding the red switch ahead of

With five pairs of underwear now, you're good to go.

This is a good time to take a break if you need one. The levels up ahead get

there's a level coming up soon that requires you to pay a lot of shiny objects
to get places.

Now. We are NOT going to Rock Bottom yet. Instead, head inside Shady Shoals
and go to Mermaid Man. Press R1.

END BIKINI BOTTOM PART 2 WITH:
- 29 Golden Spatulas
- 37 Socks
(These numbers do not include deals made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick.)

SPECIAL ITEM(S): Override Buttons (4)

Mermaid Man presses a button on his remote to reveal a trap door under the
couch. Spongebob, excited as ever, goes through it.

- This level is all about solving and finding things. Puzzles, games, secret
areas, you name it.

Head forward. Open the teleport box. Up ahead is Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy.
They tell you to find the Mermalair Computer and talk to her for further
instructions. This is your first "disco floor" up ahead - the red squares hurt
you, so don't step on them (they always turn yellow before turning red).

Two Ham-mers are up here. If you step down, below you to your right is a ramp
and a Duplicatotron in the distance. If you'd like, you can bubble bowl up the
ramp to destroy the Duplicatotron, you get a purple shiny object in return.
Don't get hit by the energy beam up here. Another new enemy here, this one is
defeated using the bubble bowl (the cruise bubble can be used later, but you
don't have that yet). [CHECKPOINT].

Kill this new robot, his name is Arf. Bubble bowl him once, go up some steps,
and repeat until he is defeated. If you're having trouble bubble bowling him,
note that you can also hit the "arf dawgs" that he uses to attack you with
back at him and he will be hurt just as much.

Up ahead are some robots, and to your left, a bubble bowl switch.

Behind you are some computers. There are two blue ones. Stand to the left
of the blue one and look across the edge of the platform. You should see
a fish hook in the distance. What you need to do is bubble bowl the left
side of the switch to rotate the walkway ahead of you to the right. Do
this until the walkway is positioned under the fish hook, then walk over
to it. Bungee down and get the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, bubble bowl the other side of the switch to move the walkway to the left
until it connects the platform in the distance and the one you are standing
on. Walk across it. [CHECKPOINT].

To your right is a switch you can bubble-bowl to show the invisible
boatmobile. It's just for show, though. The sign ahead tells you the bubble
bowl can also be used to press buttons. Bubble-bowl the one here.

Walk across the new walkway. At the end of here is a Spatula.
       +---------------------------------------------------------------+

Enter the gate up ahead.

    5.7.1: Mermalair Main Chamber
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

Squidward shows you where the Mermalair Computer is. Walk across this walkway
up ahead. Bubble bowl the switch to get onto a rotating circular platform with
power generators scattered across the surface. (If you bubble bowl the switch
twice, you are led to a cave with a purple shiny object.) [CHECKPOINT].

On the other side of this platform, you should see a red button. Bubble bowl
it and it should say "BRIDGE ACTIVATED!". Now, there is another platform to
the left of the one holding the button. Get on this and go up the steps. Kill
the Ham-mer then go down the walkway and bubble-bowl the switch. A small
circular platform will lower. Step on it and wait for it to rise, then watch
out for the Chuck. Bubble bowl the next switch and the Left Wall Jump should
be activated. [CHECKPOINT].

Go up some more steps. Destroy the Arf and bubble bowl another switch. Get on
another circular platform, and when it rises, watch out for another Chuck.
Bubble bowl a third red button up here and the Right Wall Jump should be
activated. Then, go down the slide you see here.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #2 | 39/80 |

At the end of this slide, do a double jump and you should get the sock,
which is hanging in the air above the three blue lights.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, walk over to the platform with the Bus Stop. Change into Patrick and talk
to Mermaid Man.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #4 | "The Funnel Machines" | 31/100 |

There are three machines here. For each, you have to pick up the throw
fruit and manage to get to the end of the path, then quickly throw it in
                              the machines.

MACHINE 1: The first path is a disco floor like the one you saw a
sample of when you first walked in. As soon as you get near it, the two
lower right squares will be available to walk on. Follow the path of gray
squares until you walk through three on the left side. Instead of
turning right here, get to the edge of the square and throw the fruit. If
done correctly, the fruit should make it to the end of the path. Now,
just step over the red squares, you should only lose one or two pairs of
underwear. Get to the end of the path, pick up the fruit, and throw it in
the machine. The button should turn green and start making noise.

MACHINE 2: There are four circular plates that tilt when you walk on them.
Pick up the fruit and stand to the left of the first plate (don't step
on it). Walk to the edge of the ground and throw it to the third plate;
It should land near the center of the plate. Walk over to that plate and
throw it to the end of the path. Quickly walk over there and throw it in
                               the machine.

MACHINE 3: This one is easy. Just walk forward avoiding one or two
cannonballs and you should be able to throw it into the machine from a
                                 distance.

Walk back over to Mermaid Man and grab your reward.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Behind Mermaid Man, you should see a clam. Pay it 2300 shiny objects to
activate a Patrick Teeter-totter. Take it to a higher platform where Barnacle
Boy is. After you talk with him, look to your left. You should see a square
button. Hit it. [OVERRIDE BUTTON 1/4]. Then head into the area to the right of
Barnacle Boy.

| Golden Spatula #5 | "The Spinning Towers of Power" | 32/100 |

To do this, you need to activate the towers by bellyflopping the switches.
You're going to need to do these in order. Start from one tower, then
skip two towers and activate another. Then skip two more, and activate
another. That's how you do it - activate one, skip two, activate one,
skip two. Repeat this until all the towers have turned to the power side.
Return to Barnacle Boy and grab that Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, you can take this slide back down. If you missed the sock the last time
you rode the other slide, you have another chance to grab it.

Change into Spongebob at the Bus Stop. Turn around and step on the platform
on the right side of the rotating platform. Ahead of you should be a conveyor
belt bridge, walk across it, then beware of the Chuck. Destroy the
Duplicatotron and get up this sticky wall. Then, get up a taller sticky wall.
[CHECKPOINT].

       +---------------------------------------------------------------+
       | Golden Spatula #2 | "Top of the Computer Area" | 33/100 |

To your left is a Golden Spatula for making it this far.
       +---------------------------------------------------------------+

This is the Mermalair Computer - talk to her.

You need to help her by pressing four override buttons. You already pressed
one as Patrick. Press the second one here. [OVERRIDE BUTTON 2/4] (you have to
bubble-bowl this one). Turn around and go down this path, then go left and
through this next gate.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+
    5.7.2: Mermalair Security Tunnel
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

Talk to Gary - you need to get to the top of this room through the tunnels.

This section is fairly easy. Walk into the cave ahead and you have to cross a
disco floor. You know how these work by now. Once you've crossed 3 disco
floors you get to an area with two energy beams, one above you and one going
across the ground. Get past these. [CHECKPOINT].

More disco floors, these ones are a little harder and give you less time to
cross them. Additionally, you have to avoid the robots' attacks at the end of
the disco floors. After three more disco floors, you should come to the end of
the tunnels where an Arf is waiting for you. Press [0VERRIDE BUTTON 3/4] to
your left.

         +-----------------------------------------------------------+
         | Golden Spatula #6 | "Top of the Security Tunnel" | 34/100 |

Climb up the steps to the Spatula.
         +-----------------------------------------------------------+

Before leaving, go back down the steps and walk up to the clam.

| Sock #3 | 40/80 |

Pay the clam 2300 shiny objects and the platform to your left will rise.
Jump up the step to your left and then jump to the platform. This is a
fairly hard sock to get. You have to avoid all the electrical hazards,
among other things. If you fall down to the beginning of this area (where
Gary is) just use the teleport box to get back up top. A sock is at the
                            end of this path.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Once you're done, you can go through the gate by where you got the Spatula.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+
    5.7.3: Rolling Ball Area
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

As interesting as this section looks, I'd rather you wait until you have more
abilities to complete it. So, the task Mr. Krabs assigns you is going to have
to be put on hold for now. To the left of the bubble-bowl ramp, press
[OVERRIDE BUTTON 4/4] and follow the path to the right of the ramp to the next
gate.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Talk to the Mermalair Computer.

        +--------------------------------------------------------------+
        | Golden Spatula #3 | "Shut Down the Security System" | 35/100 |

The Computer gives you a Spatula for all your help.
        +--------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, she instructs you to press the Master Shutdown Button. Do so. The bridge
to your left will be lowered. Turn left and follow the path to the bridge.
Walk across it and enter the final area here.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    5.7.4: Villain Containment Area
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

This is your second mini-boss. When you enter, you hear the story of Prawn.
Walk across the platform here onto the circular area where Prawn is.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #8 | "Defeat Prawn" | 36/100 |

Ahead of you is a disco floor surrounding Prawn, who sits in the center.
Prawn will blast a blue wave at you. You can try to jump over it, but
I suggest you try and outrun it or you will get hurt. Either way, after
he stops blasting it at you, the disco floor will act weird for a couple
seconds, and then a white square path to Prawn will appear. You need to
get at the edge of that path and bubble-bowl Prawn. If you repeat this
two more times, Prawn will be defeated. *After the first hit, he starts
sending robots at you, too. They are pretty easy to avoid. Once you've
hit him three times, Mermaid Man awards you with the Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

- If you'd like, you can leave this section and take the teleport box outside
back to the entrance chamber, and then the next teleport box to the beginning
of the level (I prefer that way since you get to have a nice conversation with
Squidward). It's much easier to just pause the menu and "take the taxi"
to one of the Spatulas in Bikini Bottom, though.

Either way, we're done here for now, so get back to Bikini Bottom.

END MERMALAIR WITH:
- 36 Golden Spatulas
- 40 Socks
(These numbers do not include deals made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back in Bikini Bottom. The next level you'll be doing is to the left of Shady
Shoals - Sand Mountain. You need 30 Golden Spatulas to get in.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): None

Sand Mountain is, basically, the place where the people in Bikini Bottom go to
ski. It seems to have been taken over by robots as well, however, and
Squidward is especially unhappy about it. He tells Spongebob he will give him
a Spatula for every slope that he gets rid of the robots.

Walk down the wooden steps to your left. Turn right as soon as you get to the
bottom and you should see some fish by a snowman.

            +----------------------------------------------------+
            | Sock #1 | 41/80 |

Destroy the snowman and a sock appears behind you.
            +----------------------------------------------------+

To your left you should see an icy pond surrounded by thunder tikis. Go to the
left of that and a Chuck starts firing at you. You can't really get him from
right here, so avoid him and go up the steps to your right (they are on the
other side of the wall). At the top, go right and follow the path until you
see Plankton. He'll tell you there's a Spatula at the bottom of the cliff.

  +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+
  | Golden Spatula #1 | "Frosty Bungee" | 37/100 |

Pay the clam here 2500 shiny objects to get the hook, then bungee down.
  +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Turn around and start going back the way you came. Ahead of you is the Ski
Lodge. Jump onto the balcony and then jump to the other balcony where a red
switch is by the window. Hit it and some swing hooks will drop down, these are
for Sandy.

Drop down to where Gary is. To your left you should see a Bus Stop, and to the
left of that, a bridge leading to a cabin.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #2 | 42/80 |

Walk up to the Bus Stop but don't climb the steps to it or jump up to it.
Instead, drop down directly UNDER where the Bus Stop is. You should land
on a small ledge. If you fall in between the ledges here, use R2 to look
down before dropping down. Follow the ledges around and you get the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, go back to the Bus Stop and change into Sandy.

Walk up to Gary. He shows you the Spatula on the top of the lodge. Get
back on top of the Balcony by the window, where Spongebob pushed the
button causing the swing hooks to drop. In front of you is a swing hook
that you can hover to. After swinging along all these hooks, you can
hover to the spatula atop the lodge.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

This is it for the entrance. Now, we can head onto the slopes. Enter the door
with the 1 above it to enter Guppy Mound, it'll cost you 1500 Shiny Objects.

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

If you haven't already, change into Spongebob. Mrs. Puff will offer you the
challenge of beating her time down the slide. Deny it for now. Then, start
sliding!

This run, we're going to get the socks.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #3 | 43/80 |

When the path splits, take the upper (left) path through a wall of tikis.
Follow this path until it ends and you get a sock.

After you slide past a Chuck, the path splits, the left side going under
the right side. Take the left side and you slide through a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #5 | 45/80 |

Soon, you cross a path littered with small robots. Then, you have to jump
a gap, and after that the path will turn right. You have a small
opportunity to jump to the right after the path turns, and you should
land on some steps that lead up to a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

After a huge wall of tikis, you slide to the end, where you get a [CHECKPOINT]
and robots are everywhere.

Defeat all the robots on the ice and destroy the two Duplicatotrons. Then
press the buttons behind the Duplicatotrons. A snowball will crash
through the fence, and a Spatula is up ahead.

Take the teleport box back to the top of the slope. Talk to Mrs. Puff and
she will offer you the challenge again. This time, accept it. Go through
the slide as fast as you can, but do your best not to fall off, or the
timer will disappear. If you've won, you'll get a message at the end
telling you so. Go back to Mrs. Puff and pick up your reward.

Exit to go back to the Ski Lodge.

Go through door number 2 to Flounder Hill. It's the door in the cabin across
the bridge.

This time, we're going to do things the other way. Accept Bubble Buddy's
challenge and just go down the slide as fast as you can. If you slide through
any snowmen, ignore the " _ / 8" that comes up on your screen. At the end, you
should have beaten Bubble Buddy's time. If you didn't, then try again after
the robots at the end of the slide.

This is a repeat of what you just did on Guppy Mound. Once you've pressed
the two buttons, go through the gate to collect your Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #6 | "Beat Bubble Buddy's Time" | 42/100 |

Once you've beaten Bubble Buddy's time, go back to him to receive your
                                 reward.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Pause the game. Scroll over to "Defeat Robots on Flounder Hill" and press X to
Take the Taxi. This is so your stuff is reset.

You should be at the top of the slope again. If you got a sock on your way
down the last time, it is SOCK #7 a few paragraphs down, and you don't have
to worry about reading that part. (ONLY if you got the sock.)

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #6 | 46/80 |

This is probably the most annoying sock in the game. Point is, you can't
die. Also, be careful. If you fall off the slope or die, you have to
start over from square one, or in this case, snowman one.

You will be destroying 8 snowmen. Follow my lead.

1. Before you even start sliding, destroy the snowman behind you. [1/8].
2. - Start sliding. When you see two signs with arrows pointed at each
other (like this: >>> <<<), slide right through them. There is a snowman
sitting on the path above. [2/8].
3. - After the CHECKPOINT up ahead, take the left fork. Follow it for a
ways and destroy another snowman. [3/8].
4. Continue sliding. You should go through a cave up ahead, and soon you
will reach a CHECKPOINT. Follow this path for a while and destroy another
snowman that you come across while turning left. [4/8].
5. Continue. When you reach the place where you can go 3 different ways,
DROP down and take the lower path going straight. Destroy the snowman
right after you drop down. [5/8].
- Follow the slide until it ends. Take the teleport box back up top and
                           start sliding again.
6. - This time, DON'T go through the >>> <<< signs, even though they are
now broken anyway. Follow the normal path until you reach a fork. At the
fork, go RIGHT. Destroy the snowman right after you take the fork. [6/8].
7. - Follow the path until you reach another fork. Recall, you took the
left path last time. This time, go right. Destroy the snowman while going
                     down this narrow spiral. [7/8].
8. - You will eventually get to the spot where the path goes 3 different
ways (again). This time, jump down to the left path. The snowman is right
                              up ahead. [8/8].
- Make it to the bottom of the slide alive, and the sock is all yours.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #7 | 47/80 |

This sock is much easier to get. Pause the game. If you see 7/10 socks,
then you've already managed to collect this one. If you see 6/10, you
still have yet to collect it. Go down this slide one last time. When you
reach the part where it breaks into three different ways again, jump to
the upper middle path. Up ahead, jump to the tops of the tunnels. On top
of the last tunnel is the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

You can finally exit this section.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Door number 3 of Sand Mountain will take you to.. SAND MOUNTAIN. The hardest
of the slopes. Enter.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+
    5.8.3: Sand Mountain
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

Deny Larry's challenge for now. We're going to get some socks first, but
before you do, change into Sandy. Then, start sliding.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #8 | 48/80 |

Immediately to your right, you should see a trampoline. Jump to it and it
will bounce you to a higher path to your left. At the end of this path is
                                 a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Be careful of the moving platforms up ahead.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #9 | 49/80 |

Right after the moving platforms end, another trampoline will be at your
right. Jump to it and it will take you to a path to your right. Quickly
jump/hover/swing to the swing hook to your right. Hover across to the icy
platform. Then, hover to a larger icy platform. In the distance, to your
left, is a Chuck firing at you, so be careful. Hover to the platform
where he is - a sock is there.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, just fall off the edge. You will be sent back to the beginning of the
slide. If you want to slide as Sandy again, you can, but you don't need her
for anything else.

Go down the slide again until you reach the second trampoline. Jump onto it
again, but this time, don't swing on the lasso hook, just continue on the
upper path. After you press the red button, a snowball will start rolling
ahead of you. Eventually, the snowball doesn't curve though, and instead goes
flying into the mountain.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #10 | 50/80 |

Follow the snowball into the hole in the mountain. At the end of the path
                                is the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Follow the slide to the end.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #7 | "Defeat Robots on Sand Mountain" | 43/100 |

Again, defeat all the robots and Duplicatotrons. Press the two buttons
and the gate will break open, leaving you with the Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take the teleport box and go back to the top of the hill. Change into
Spongebob if you aren't playing as him already. Talk to Larry and accept his
challenge.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #8 | "Beat Larry's Time" | 44/100 |

Race down the hill as fast as you can. Return to Larry once you've beaten
the 2:21 time record, and he gives you the last Spatula for this area.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Exit back to the Ski Lodge.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Head back to the beginning of the level where you talked with Squidward. You
can have another little chat with him, then turn around and take the taxi here
back to Bikini Bottom.

END SAND MOUNTAIN WITH:
- 44 Golden Spatulas
- 50 Socks
(These numbers do not include deals made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, you're back home now. Enjoy it while it lasts, because the next place
we'll be visiting is not pretty.

Walk up to the gate with "40" across it. If you have 40 Spatulas, which you
should, you can enter your next boss level - the Industrial Park.

Giant Robot Patrick has frozen Squidward to an ice cube and is about to harm
Spongebob and Sandy too, if they don't do something about it.

| Golden Spatula #1 | "Robo-Patrick Ahoy!" | 45/100 |

- ROUND ONE: Avoid the poisonous ice cream. Watch out, because he spits
at you as well. Then, he will start spinning rapidly and flinging the ice
cream everywhere. He gets dizzy, though. Once he does, walk up to his
back and hit him where the "KICK ME HERE!" sign is. Then, retreat to the
conveyor belts and platforms that make up the border of the arena. He
will do the same attacks twice. If you hit him two more times, he
                           collapses for a bit.

Spongebob is proud of himself, and starts dancing around when the robot
freezes him, too. Sandy goes in as a result.

- ROUND TWO: The robot does the same attacks as before. This time, though,
once you hit his back, he will flood the center of the arena with green
fluid. Quickly make your way back to the platforms on the edge. Grabbing
onto the swing hooks here will drop boxes in the green goo for you to use
to get to the robot and hit him. Avoid the rather annoying shower of spit
that the robot attacks you with. Remember, the swing hooks will drop
boxes. Three hits as Sandy ends this round.

The robot floods the entire floor with the green goo, and doing so frees
Spongebob and Squidward. Sandy goes to tend to Squidward while Spongebob
heads back in to finish off the robot.

- ROUND THREE: Immediately, the robot has a new attack - freezing you.
It's pretty difficult to avoid, and if you don't, the spit will hit you.
Once he's done spinning, you need to get to the platform that's behind
wherever he's fallen and bubble-bowl his back. If you can manage to do
                         this three times, then...

The robot explodes. Squidward thanks you for your help, and you leave
                            with the Spatula.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): None

Spongebob apologizes to Plankton for not getting in the Chum Bucket yet. Ahead
of you is Bubble Buddy. He teaches you the final - and most important - bubble
move, the Cruise Bubble. Try it out, press L1 and steer it to wherever you'd
like. This is a powerful bubble (it can even destroy stone tikis!).

- The circular formation of rocks up ahead with the "EXIT" sign is a portal to
the last main level, Spongebob's Dream. Don't go there yet, but just know that
that's the portal.

Find Mr. Krabs. He tells you that you can't fry cook until you destroy all the
robots that have overrun the Krusty Krab. So..enter.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    5.10.1: Krusty Krab
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

Quickly, the robots will begin to ambush you from all sides. Turn right and
use the two wooden tikis in the corner to climb up to the ceiling beams. Right
next to you, on another ceiling beam, is a Duplicatotron. Destroy it. Then,
defeat the two Chucks (one in the air, one on the ground). After that, destroy
a cluster of new, smaller robots on the floor - these shoot yellow laser beams
at you. Now, look up. You should see some odd-looking robots with a yellow
light surrounding them. This is a chance to try out that cruise bubble. Press
L1 and steer it towards a robot. It should destroy it. Then, destroy the other
one the same way. A message will pop up telling you you've defeated all the
robots. We have to get something before we go outside, though.

Destroy everything. Every tiki, every barrel by the tables, all the boxes
- basically anything that can be smashed, smash it. Then, hit the cash
register, and stand on the condiment table. Smash the ketchup and mustard.
A sock should appear atop one of the ceiling beams.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Go back outside.

As you leave, Mr. Krabs gives you the Spatula as a reward.
       +---------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, head directly across the street into the Chum Bucket.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    5.10.2: Chum Bucket
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

If you walk forward, a TV will drop in front of you and give you a news
broadcast about Plankton. To your left, destroy all the thunder tikis. Then,
get on the table farthest from where you walked in.

| Golden Spatula #8 | "A Wall Jump in the Bucket" | 47/100 |

There is a curvy pipe above you and to your right. Jump to it. The wall
and the edge of the pipe will act as a sticky wall here. Wall jump off
the sides until you reach the Spatula up top.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

That's it for in here, you can leave now.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Once you're back outside, turn left and walk over to where the "EXIT" sign
to Spongebob's Dream is. Then, turn around and face the Chum Bucket.

You should see three buttons on the side of the Chum Bucket you're facing.
Use the Cruise Bubble to hit each one. A trampoline will appear on the ground.

Use the trampoline to get on the top of the Chum Bucket, where a Spatula
                               awaits you.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

From the Chum Bucket roof, look down at the Krusty Krab. You should see the
last ~*GOLDEN UNDERWEAR*~ sitting on the clam sign. Use the trampoline you
used to get up here to bounce up to it.

You only have one thing left to get here.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #2 | 52/80 |

Go behind the Krusty Krab. You should see a dumpster. Hit it and it will
move out of the way to reveal a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

This is it for all of Bikini Bottom!

Before we can do any more new levels, though, we need to backtrack. There's a
lot of stuff that we missed, and now that we have the Cruise Bubble, we can
finish more tasks. So, the next section will be devoted entirely to that.

END BIKINI BOTTOM PART 3 WITH:

This section requires jumping through some of the old levels. Follow my lead,
and you should be fine.

*SOCK #'s are for the ENTIRE backtracking section. For example, even though
we'll be switching levels, if you get two socks in one level, then switch to
another level and get one sock there, it will count as Sock #3, NOT Sock #1.

*GOLDEN SPATULA #'s here still refer to the task number in the level that
you're on when you collect it.

The first place you need to go back to is Jellyfish Fields. Use the Taxi gate
to get there (it's across from Spongebob's House, if you don't remember.)

------------------------------------------------------------+

You're in Jellyfish Fields now - this should be familiar territory to you.

Pause the game. Scroll over to the task titled "Cowa-Bungee!" and press X to
Take the Taxi. You should be teleported to where Gary is. We're not going to
do the bungee jump again, though. Instead, go to the left of Gary and head up
the series of platforms here. Go past the Ham-mer and continue going straight.
You should get to a pressure pad, with a box that has a bowling ball and pins
painted on it in the distance.

Pause the game again. Scroll over to the task titled "Drain the Lake" and
press X to Take the Taxi. Change into Spongebob at the Bus Stop, then follow
the path to the right of the Bus Stop. Follow until you reach a [CHECKPOINT].
Continue to the left here, avoiding the Tar-Tar and other robots. Right before
you reach the teleport box here, there is another path to your left. On the
second step up the path there is another Tar-Tar. Follow this path up and you
should see another pressure pad.

Step on the pressure pad. Several floating tikis will appear. Use the
Cruise Bubble to destroy each one. If done successfully, you get a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jellyfish Fields is now complete! The next place we'll be going back to is
Downtown Bikini Bottom. Pause the game. Scroll down to Downtown Bikini Bottom,
then scroll over to the last task - "Come Back With the Cruise Bubble". Take
the Taxi and you will be teleported to the Sea Needle.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Turn left and go down the hallway through the door, into the Entrance of the
Needle. Then go through the "E" door, beware the G-love here. Both pathways
to your left and right should be destroyed, though the pathway to your left
has a series of floating platforms. Instead, turn to the broken pathway to
your RIGHT, which has no platforms.

Take care of the robot and the sock inside is all yours.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

You can push the button here to open this door. Then, pause the game once
again. Scroll down to the Mermalair. Then, scroll over to task #7 - "Complete
the Rolling Ball Room". Take the Taxi.

------------------------------------------------------------+

You might remember this as the room that we skipped while completing the rest
of the Mermalair. Here's why: There is a G-love behind you and to your left.
Try destroying it and see what happens. Another instantly appears. This can
hold you back a bit while doing this task. Now, there's only one thing that
can be the cause of this: a Duplicatotron. Here's what I want you to do.

Mr. Krabs is standing in front of a glass container that holds the Spatula.
Walk to the other side of the glass container. Then, look to your right and
rotate your camera to see upward. You should see the Duplicatotron on a high
ledge. Launch a Cruise Bubble and destroy it. (If you can't destroy it from
the angle you're at, move back further or get on top of something.) Take the
G-Love out, and this time, he will not reappear.

Now that this is taken care of, we can do this fun rolling ball game.

This task requires quite a few steps to get the ball into the cup by Mr.
Krabs. Do each of these steps in order, and do them fast.

1. On the other side of the glass, you should see a ramp with a switch at
the end. Bubble bowl up the ramp. If you press the button, a giant ball
will fall on a red track and start rolling.

2. Quickly walk over to the giant wooden gear to your right. Bubble bowl
the sides of it so the gear spins left. This will align the red tracks.

3. - Turn around and go down the left path (opposite the path with Mr.
Krabs) and you should see some yellow arrows leading up to the end of a
pendulum-like object. Bubble bowl this and it will drop a bar with a cup
on the end. If you've managed to get the rolling ball this far, it will
fall into the cup. The pendulum rises and drops the ball onto another
set of tracks, where it starts rolling again.

4. Ahead of you is a pressure plate. Step on it. A couple seconds after
you hear the sound of the ball rolling close by, bubble bowl the switch
and walk forward, going up the steps up ahead.

5. - Step on another pressure pad to your left. It will raise a conveyor
belt, which the ball will roll across if it's made it this far.

6. Bubble bowl the switch up ahead to raise the hammer, so it can't knock
                           the ball off its path.

7. It will roll onto a wooden platform. The black platform to the right
of it balances the tilt of the wooden platform. Tilt it so it follows
the path of the orange arrows into the cup where the hand is pointing.

8. You have a couple seconds to go across the platforms to the right and
bubble bowl the switch behind the windmill.

If you do step 8 in time, the ball will be catapulted out of the cup and
weigh down the lever by Mr. Krabs, pulling the glass out from above the
Spatula. Walk down to where it is, it's all yours.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Go back to where the wooden platform was, with the orange arrows (step 7).
Walk to the end of it. Behind the wooden wall at the end is a glowing
sock sitting on top of a floating tiki.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Now, pause the game and scroll up to Bikini Bottom. Take the Taxi to whichever
Spatula/task you please, as long as you make it back home. :)

END BACKTRACKING WITH:
- 50 Golden Spatulas
- 56 Socks
(These numbers do not include deals made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is, somewhat, a turning point in the game. After this, the levels are
going to start getting harder. Be ready.

That being said, you should venture into a level you may have thought I'd
forgotten about - Rock Bottom. The Taxi stop is located in part 2 of Bikini
Bottom, next to the Police Station.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): Priceless Artwork (6)

This is one of my favorite levels in the game. It's large, and spread out, and
the atmosphere is, overall, quite creepy. The music is pretty great too.

Also, the "sneak" move is necessary here - sneaking is like walking, but
slower and quieter. To sneak (you have to be playing as Spongebob), press
forward on the left analog stick, but do it slightly (if you move it too far,
you'll just start walking). If you do it correctly, Spongebob will start
tiptoeing across the ground, and it makes a distinct sound so you can tell.
Sneaking will not work with the D-pad, only with the left analog stick. You'll
know when you need to use this.

Mrs. Puff is, once again, the one to assign you with the special items. This
time, the robots have stolen Artwork from the Museum here, and she wants to
get it all back.

Up ahead of you is your first "Sleepytime" robot. Well, not really your first,
you defeated some in the Krusty Krab. You have to sneak through his light
shield to get to him. Then, just hit him. To the left of where he was standing
is [PRICELESS ARTWORK 1/6].

If you don't want to sneak across the platforms up ahead, just jump across
them (they will collapse). Bubble Buddy is up ahead; he tells you to find
another way to the Museum since the robots broke the main route. [CHECKPOINT].

Go past some robots. Up ahead, open the teleport box. Notice that the path to
the Duplicatotron is currently blocked. Jump down to the path below. The giant
pink Museum sign is in the distance. Use your Cruise Bubble to destroy the
Chuck floating below it, to prevent being attacked. Then, walk straight ahead
to the wall in front of the Museum sign. Press the red button on the wall. A
swing hook should appear and start moving around in the air. Then, turn
around, open the teleport box, and turn right. [CHECKPOINT] by the pink arrow.

By the Tar-Tar up ahead, there is a thunder tiki surrounded by Shhh tikis.
Behind the tikis is another red button. Press it and another swing hook will
appear. In the distance, to your left, is a Duplicatotron spitting out a ton
of small robots at you. Destroy it - behind it is a third red button. Pressing
it reveals another swing hook. Then, turn around and follow the path in the
direction of the pink arrow. Beware the Sleepytime robots. On this path, press
two more red buttons; One reveals a fourth swing hook, and the other will
remove the gate blocking the Duplicatotron from earlier. Take the teleport box
back to said Duplicatotron. Destroy it. Directly behind it is a Spongeball and
a button.

Press the button. The gate at the end of this path will open, and a timer will
start. Use the Spongeball to quickly roll along this path and get through the
opened gate before the timer runs out. After that, you have another button to
press. When you do, the narrow path below you will rise for you to roll
across. You have a much shorter period of time to get across this one, and be
careful as it's easy to fall off. Follow this path around and avoid the safes
being fired at you by the cannon. (They always fall on the same dents in the
path, so you can time your walks.) Follow the path around up here to destroy
the cannon if you'd like.

Up here are two giant toothbrushes that act as sticky walls. Avoiding the
abundance of hot sauce here, climb up them. Then, jump to the rooftop to your
right. Change into Sandy at the Bus Stop. Finally, a [CHECKPOINT].

Hover over to the lower rooftop. Take care of the robots and use the swing
hook here to get to the next rooftop (these swing hooks will only be here if
you pressed the red buttons earlier). Then, you can use the swing hook in
front of you or the one to your right. Take the one to your right. You will
reach a Tar-tar and a tiny trampoline. Bounce on it. You should see some land
with Shiny Objects on it ahead of you. Jump to this area. Over here is
[PRICELESS ARTWORK 2/6]. To your right is another trampoline and a rock. Go
behind the rock and press the button. A swing hook will appear to your right.

The swing hook revolves around a structure. Jump up the smaller rock to
get on top of the bigger rock, and then jump and swing on the hook when
it comes around to where you are. It will lead you to another platform
with several shiny objects and a Spatula (take the Spatula).

and rock with the button, turn right and head down this path. You will reach

In the middle of the rock, there is a sock where it caves in. You can get
to it by climbing the smaller rocks that are by the rock, or hovering to
it from the swing hook you used to get Spatula #4.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take the trampoline behind you back to the rooftop. Take the swing hook in
front of you back to the other rooftop. Recall you had the choice to use one
of two swing hooks. You just got back on one of them - this time, use the
other. You will reach a rooftop with two Tar-tars. Destroy them. Then, look
ahead. The 'Museum' sign is right in front of you, and the swing hook you
activated is moving back and forth. Hover all the way to that swing hook in
the distance and then swing to the upper area. The Chuck may be back if you've
died since earlier. Change into Spongebob at the Bus Stop.

[CHECKPOINT].

More collapsible platforms and a Chuck await you here. After them, jump the
gap to your right and defeat another Chuck. Don't forget to open the teleport
box, it can be useful in case you fall down. More platforms and robots.
[CHECKPOINT].

To your left is a lamp hanging in the air. You're going to use it to cross
in a second, but first, fire a cruise bubble down the center of the Museum.
You should see a Monsoon high in the air. Destroy it so he can't harm you
later. Then, use the lamp to cross to the next balcony.

After the Chuck, there are three swinging lamps to your left. Time your jumps
across these so that the next one is swinging near you when you jump to it.

On the next balcony, there are a lot of tikis. Touch one of the thunder tikis
and step back - BAM. This is the second place where you can get the
"Super-Ultra-Mega-Monster Combo". Another place where you can come back to if
you are ever in need of shiny objects.

At the end of this balcony and to your right, there are more swinging lamps.
Before crossing them, fire another cruise bubble at the Monsoon hanging around
to your left. For these swings, jump to the first, then jump to the one to
your right, then to the one to your left, then to the balcony. At the end of
the last balcony is [PRICELESS ARTWORK 4/6].

You will notice many swing hooks dropping down. DO NOT ENTER THE TRENCH OF
ADVANCED DARKNESS. Instead, turn around and go all the way back to where you
entered the museum. Exit to Downtown Rock Bottom. Just do it.

- You will be back at the Museum entrance. Change into Sandy at the Bus Stop
and go back in the Museum.

As Sandy, go forward and take the teleport box after the robots to go up a
floor. Jump across the collapsible platforms to your left and jump up to the
balcony. You will be back at the first lamp. Follow this path until you reach
the first set of swinging lamps. Jump to the first, then the second. Then,
while the lamp is swinging to the right, jump up and grab on to the swing
hook. From this swing hook, you should see a sock to your right, on a balcony.

Go back to where the Bus Stop is. Change into Sandy again. Walk up to
Plankton. He tells you to activate the lasers to help you across the trench.
Use the swing hook to get to the island in the middle. Then, drop down to a
lower platform directly under the island, it's under the pink and blue fish.

                 +-------------------------------------------+

Before getting on the trampoline, press the red button here. A swing hook will
appear somewhere. Use the trampoline to bounce you back up, then go back to
where Plankton and the Bus Stop are. There is a teleport box up here. To the
right of the teleport box is a ledge. Get on it. You should see a swing hook
in the distance. Hover to it and use it to get on the land up here. Lasso one
of the thunder tikis and both the Sleepytime robots will be destroyed. Grab
[PRICELESS ARTWORK 5/6]. Then, you should see another swing hook to your left.
This is the hook you just activated.

  +-------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Make your way back to Plankton. Swing over to the island again, then quickly
jump and grab one of the swing hooks (there are 3). Cross the moving
platform(s) then destroy the Duplicatotron(s) and robots there. If you took
the left or right swing hooks, you have to climb a white pipe. Press the
button to activate the laser.

Make your way back to the island and repeat the above process for the other
two swing hooks, and activate the other two lasers. When you activate the
middle laser, make sure you collect [PRICELESS ARTWORK 6/6]. After activating
all three lasers, a single laser beam will cut through a rock, leaving you an
island to help you get to the rest of the path.

Return to Plankton for your reward.
       +----------------------------------------------------------------+

Walk past the Bus Stop and teleport box. Eventually, you'll get to a lamppost
and you'll see the island that fell as a result of the laser beam to your
left. Hover over to it. Up here is a Sleepytime robot. Your goal is to kick
the smaller robots that the Duplicatotron is spitting out directly at the
Sleepytime robot to destroy it. [CHECKPOINT] at the Duplicatotron, once you've
managed that.

After defeating a Chuck, use the teleport box up ahead to get to the Bus Stop.
Change into Spongebob and go back in the teleport box. Now, you can sneak up
to this Sleepytime robot and kill it. Repeat for the next Sleepytime robot.
Beware as the Duplicatotrons are now spitting out Sleepytimes.

Well, that was a very long level. The taxi back to Bikini Bottom is right by
Mrs. Puff.

END ROCK BOTTOM WITH:
- 58 Golden Spatulas
- 65 Socks
(These numbers do not include deals made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If that level was easy for you, then good. The next level is a lot harder. If
it was hard for you, then I'm sorry to say that the next level will be a huge
challenge.

That being said..we're going to venture into the third part of Bikini Bottom
now. There are three paths: The left path takes you to Kelp Forest, the middle
path takes you to the movie theater, and the right path takes you to the
Flying Dutchman's Graveyard. We're taking the left path.

Take the taxi to the Kelp Forest. It requires 50 spatulas to get in.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): Lost Campers (6)
Power Crystals (6) (Unofficial items; only in section 5.13.2)

This level is by far my favorite level in the game. The music, surroundings,
and nature-feel to it is really nice. Additionally, however, it's very dark,
and difficult as well. It might be the hardest in the game.

You are introduced to an odd-looking robot before you can do anything. This
three-part combo robot requires you to hit the bottom robot, then hit the top
two before they can blast you away. This robot is called Tubelet.

Open the teleport box. Then, bounce up the leaves to get to the patch of land.
Go across it and jump down. Then, go left. After defeating some robots, you
should see some thunder tikis in a stair-like formation going up. It's exactly
what it looks like.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

SNEAK up to the Shhh tikis that are next to the staircase of thunder
tikis. Jump on top of the Shhh tikis. Then, quickly, and I mean QUICKLY,
jump up the thunder tikis to get to a small platform atop a tree. You
should see some leaves in front of you. Jump to the bottom leaf and then
bounce up the rest. The last one should bounce you to a sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump off this treetop and you should find yourself near a long row of Shhh
tikis to your right.

Walk to either end of the row, then turn around. Bubble bowl all of
the Shh tikis. If you get all eight in one try, then a sock appears.
   +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take out your first odd-looking Tubelet robot to your left. Up ahead is Mrs.
Puff. She assigns you with finding all the lost students - err, campers.
[CHECKPOINT].

Before heading on, notice where the Bus Stop is if you haven't already - it's
right before where Mrs. Puff is, down some steps to the left. We're playing as
Patrick very soon, but not yet.

Continue ahead and defeat another Tubelet.

- The next section involves getting half of the lost campers.

Continue to go down this path. You can use the Cruise Bubble to defeat the Arf
now. After you've hit the Arf once, he moves on to another spot. Use the
thunder tikis to hit him again, then hit him one more time as he comes back.
After that, start walking along the strip of land he was attacking you on.
Once you're on the other side, you'll notice some light green leaves to your
left. Use these to get to the next platform, but beware - these color leaves
do not bounce you, they just droop after you stand on them. After two more
leaves, jump down to a pressure pad. Stand on it. A cage in front of you will
raise, revealing a button. Use your cruise bubble to hit the button. Some
leaves near the beginning of the level will rise out of the goo. Bounce on the
leaf in front of you to get to them. (The leaves are behind the teleport box
if you're having trouble finding them.) Bounce up the leaves. On the treetop
to your right is [LOST CAMPER 1/6].

You have one camper. Good job. Now, turn around and bounce on the top leaf.
In front of you, you should see a light green leaf. Jump to it, then jump to
another treetop. You should see a Patrick teeter-totter. Ignore this for now,
and jump down the light green leaf to your left to a lower treetop. Press the
button on the ground to raise some trees with more light green leaves. Go down
the narrow strip of land here and get across the leaves. Use the next leaf to
bounce to another button. Press it and the tree will grow a bit. Bounce up the
leaves to a higher treetop. Then, jump down to a lower treetop and press yet
another button, raising the tree here. Bounce up these leaves to [LOST CAMPER
2/6].

Two campers. Very good. If you don't want to backtrack all that way, you can
just die now. Either way, change into Patrick at the Bus Stop. Bounce up the
leaves behind the teleport box and get to the Patrick teeter-totter. The
teeter-totter will bounce you to a higher treetop. On this higher treetop,
pick up the throw fruit, DON'T get on the leaf, and throw it to the treetop to
your right, where a button is. Quickly bounce to that treetop, pick it up
again and throw it at the button. A leaf will emerge out of a treetop. Then,
jump down to a second Patrick teeter-totter. To your left is a treetop with
throw fruit. Pick up the fruit and step on the leaf. While in the air, throw
it at the treetop with the Patrick teeter-totter. Then, pick it back up, and
use the Patrick teeter-totter to get to yet another treetop. [CHECKPOINT].

Jump to the lower treetop ahead of you and pick up the fruit. Bounce up the
leaves and stand on the left edge of the treetop you get to. Throw it at the
other treetop, which has a third Patrick teeter-totter. Quickly bounce to that
treetop and use the teeter-totter to get to the next treetop. You have to do
all that very fast. Jump down to the lower treetop right in front of you and
you will find [LOST CAMPER 3/6]. DO NOT use the leaf to bounce you back.
Instead, use R2 to look down. You should see an island with a freezy fruit.
Jump to it.

robots. (Preferably, I would change back into Spongebob here.)

or Spongebob.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+
    5.13.1: Kelp Swamp
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

This section is hellish if you're not careful.

As you enter, you will reach a brown leaf. Remember this first brown leaf.
Jump to the island and then to Mr. Krabs. He will assign Patrick the task of
returning 3 Stone Tikis to the pedestals. First, though, as Spongebob, take
out the Duplicatotron with your cruise bubble. Then, change back into Patrick
and return back to the first brown leaf that you came in on (after you've
received Mr. Krabs's instructions).

NOTE: In this section, it's crucial that you don't die after you get the first
stone tiki. If you do, then you have to start all over again.

Bounce on the leaf nearest the entrance back into the Kelp Forest. Bounce on
the tip of the left side, where it comes together at a point. You should see a
G-Love to your left, on the other side of the stone wall. Do a very large
double jump around the stone wall to the platform with the G-Love. If done
correctly, you will land right by the G-love (if you didn't, just die and keep
trying until you do). Destroy the G-love, then jump down the step and press
the red button. Some leaves will come up out of the water.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #4 | 69/80 |

To the left of the button is another leaf. Bounce on it, then rotate the
camera to your right. You should see the sock on a platform with another
                                 G-love.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Bounce on this leaf. You will be bounced to a different area. Another G-love,
and then, a Sleepytime robot. Use the throw fruit to take care of him, then
pay the clam to lower the gate. Before you go, find [LOST CAMPER 4/6] in the
area where the Sleepytime robot was. Go through the gate.. [CHECKPOINT].

You are shown a bungee hook being lowered farther up ahead. Use the leaf in
front of you to get up to a higher leaf, and then to land. Use the throw fruit
to ward off the Arf. Bounce across the leaves in the Arf's direction and
finish him off. Then, turn right and fall to lower land. (If you see a Ham-mer
here, you're at the right spot.) Ahead and to your right is another leaf.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #5 | 70/80 |

Bounce across several leaves and sections of land. Keep in mind, all of
the ledges are connected to the wall. At the end of this path is the sock.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Make your way back to where you killed the Arf (it is marked by a Tar-tar head
sticking out of the ground). This time, take the leaf to your left. Cross some
tikis to another leaf. Bounce up this and - you have your first stone tiki!
Destroy the Duplicatotron if you've died from the start (if you haven't, good
job!) and throw the tiki into the part below, where the Bus Stop is.

- If you die from here on out, you have to repeat that ENTIRE section over
again to get that stone tiki, minus the socks. Be very careful.

Now, we're going to get stone tiki number 2. Go across the land, past the Bus
Stop, and jump to the leaf to your right. Bounce to a platform with a robot
and some thunder tikis. Ahead of you is another Sleepytime. To destroy him,
throw one of the thunder tikis at him. Then, get on the island where he was.

Turn around. There are many leaves close to the water that you have to bounce
across. Be careful.. Remember, if you die, you have to get the first tiki all
over again. After you cross all the leaves, an Arf will start firing dawgs at
you. Don't kill him yet, though - jump down to the island to your right first.
You should see a freezy fruit and a button.

Press the button. You are shown where the Spatula is. Quickly throw the
freezy fruit in the swamp and run to where the Spatula is before the
timer runs out and the cage drops down.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Throw the freezy fruit in to get back on the island with the button. Use the
leaf to bounce back up to the Arf - defeat him now. On the path to your right
is [LOST CAMPER 5/6] and a [CHECKPOINT].

You don't even have to take the other path this time. Just go back outside
where you came in the cave. To your right is a leaf that will bounce you up to
Stone Tiki number 2! OPEN THE TELEPORT BOX FIRST. Pick up the tiki and walk on
the leaf to the left of the red button. Get to the edge of it, then bounce to
the next leaf. After that, bounce to your right, and you will be at the Bus
Stop again. Throw the tiki on the ground here.

***If you've died since you got the first Stone Tiki, go into the teleport box
by the Bus Stop. You will return to where you just were. Jump down to the path
and instead of going right (where the 5th camper was), go left. This path
across the leaves will bring you to the path to the first Stone Tiki. Retrieve
it again and bring it to the Bus Stop. Additionally, in this scenario, if you
die while retrieving that one, you have to backtrack and retrieve the second
Stone Tiki again.***

Basically, you need to have both Stone Tikis on the ground in the section by
Mr. Krabs and the Bus Stop. And you can't do that if you die between getting
the two.

A vine with leaves will rise, creating a path to the Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Now that that nightmare's over, cross the bridge, kill the Tar-tar, and go
through the gate into the caves.

- If you were wondering, by the way, the bungee hook you saw earlier does not
lead you to anything important, only a few shiny objects. You don't need to
use it.

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+
    5.13.2: Kelp Caves
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

This is an interesting section, the caves here are huge.

- This section requires you to think for yourself a bit. I'll try and explain
it as best as I can, but you need to be able to know how to do a lot of this
stuff by now, on your own.

Barnacle Boy tells you to get Spongebob. Change into him at the Bus Stop and
then talk to Barnacle Boy. He tells you to look for crystals. That's right,
you have to look for more things.

Walk forward and stand on the pressure plate. The button in front of you will
be unblocked. Use the cruise bubble to press it. The gate is lowered. Here is
[POWER CRYSTAL 1/6], and now you know what they look like. Another blocked
button is up here. Go to the Bus Stop and change into Patrick. Go back to
where you just were. Turn left and go into this cave. Pick up the Stone Tiki
and throw it onto the Stone Pedestal. A vine will rise out of the goo to the
left. Change into Spongebob at the Bus Stop then come back here. Bounce up the
leaves and get [POWER CRYSTAL 2/6] at the top. Step on the pressure pad, and
make sure you're facing the way you came in. The button will become unblocked.
Fire a cruise bubble at it. The gate next to it will open. Change into Patrick
at the Bus Stop and come back to this cave you were just in. Press the red
button by the entrance to the cave and the Stone Tiki will disappear off the
Stone Pedestal and reappear by the button (the vine will disappear as well).
Pick it up and walk through the (now lowered) gate and throw the Tiki onto the
Stone Pedestal up here. Another vine will come up out of the ground.
[CHECKPOINT].

Up here, use the throw fruit to take out the Sleepytime robot. Where the robot
was is the vine you just activated. Bounce up it to snag [POWER CRYSTAL 3/6].
Then, change into Spongebob and come back here. Stand on the pressure plate
to the right of the throw fruit. A button on the path to your left will be
unblocked. Fire a cruise bubble down that path and hit the button with it. The
gate in front of you will lower, allowing access to a very large cave.

Change into Patrick and come back here. On the way back, pick up the tiki
sitting on the Stone Pedestal from earlier (by the Checkpoint). Through the
(lowered) gate into the bigger cave, go right. You should see some steps to
your right. Throw the Stone Tiki up all these steps. On the last step, throw
it onto a Stone Pedestal. The vine to your left will grow very tall. Climb it.
At the top is [POWER CRYSTAL 4/6].

Jump back down to the bottom of the vine.

Turn left. Jump down the steps and you will see the sock.
         +-----------------------------------------------------------+

From here, you should see the Bus Stop below you. Open the teleport box.
Change into Spongebob and use the other box to get back here. Stand on the
pressure pad next to the stone pedestal. You will be shown where the unblocked
button is. Fire a cruise bubble at it. A gate will be lowered. Before changing
into Patrick again, fire another cruise bubble down into that cave. Hit the
Monsoon that is hovering around - if you don't kill him now, he will endlessly
harass you later. Then, change into Patrick and come back here. Pick up the
Stone Tiki off the Pedestal and carry it back down the steps. Walk along the
path to your right (DON'T go through the lowered gate yet) and throw this tiki
onto another Stone Pedestal. A vine in the goo will rise.

You've been using one Stone Tiki for a lot of things, but before you entered
this larger area, there was another Tiki that we haven't even touched yet. Go
through the gate you used to get into this bigger cave, and pick up the stone
tiki next to the red button and throw fruit. Carry it into the bigger cave.

While carrying the tiki, start bouncing up the vine in the goo that you
activated. Bounce up all the platforms in the air using the leaves attached to
them. WHEN YOU REACH THE PATRICK TEETER-TOTTER, do not use it as you normally
would. Walk to the side that has the target on it. Throw it on the ledge where
the power crystal is. Then, go back down to the cave floor.

There is one cave that you haven't been in yet - you lowered the gate, but I
told you not to go in. Go in. Up the steps to your left there is a third Tiki.
Also, in the cave behind this tiki is [LOST CAMPER 6/6], don't forget about
him. Pick up the tiki. Go back up the vine and use the Patrick teeter-totter
as you normally would (stand on Starfish side, throw at target). You will be
catapulted to [POWER CRYSTAL 5/6]. Behind the crystal is another Stone
Pedestal. If you managed to get the other Stone Tiki up here earlier, then
pick it up and throw it on the Pedestal. A vine will rise out of the goo in
the last cave. Go into that cave and bounce up the leaves to get [POWER
CRYSTAL 6/6].

Return to Barnacle Boy as Spongebob and he rewards you with the Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Go back into the last cave and bounce up the leaves once again. At the top,
to your right, is a pressure pad. Step on it and fire one more cruise bubble
at the last button in the larger area. The final gate of the Kelp Caves will
lower.

    5.13.3: Kelp Vines
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

Just when you thought you'd seen everything this level has to offer, and we
get to a thoroughly giant slide.

Here's a hint: When going around sharp turns, rotate the camera using the
right analog stick while you're turning, as this is faster than the automatic
camera and it greatly decreases your chances of falling off. Also, this is
near impossible with the camera zoomed in, so PRESS the left analog stick (as
if it were a button) to make sure you're zoomed OUT.

You can accept the time challenge if you'd like, but chances are, you're going
to fall off instantly and lose the timer. Plus, there's a sock we have to get
first. (Before you start, open the teleport box at the top. Then, start
sliding.)

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #7 | 72/80 |

After reaching the first checkpoint, there is a vine in the middle with
a leaf on the right and left of it. Jump to the upper (Left) leaf. Follow
this path. Right after it curves, you will see another leaf high up to
your left. Jump to it. The sock is on the vine after the first jump.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Make your way to the bottom of the slide successfully.

If you make it to the end, you get this as a reward.
           +-------------------------------------------------------+

Return to the top of the slide via teleport box. Ask Mermaid Man for the time
challenge again. 1:41 is the time you have to beat.

Tips:
- When you have to choose between the left or right leaf after the first
checkpoint, choose the right.
- Again, the right analog stick helps you not fall off.
- You can use the vines below you to your advantage, and jump to them to save
you time, but beware - you might be going in the wrong direction and be forced
off, or you might miss your target and fall off yourself. Or, the hand might
even forbid you to fall too far.

- By jumping on to the right leaf, then riding the green slide, then jumping
onto the orange slide early, and following the orange path to the end, I
finished with 18 seconds to spare.

If you can manage to beat the 1:41 limit without falling off, return to
Mermaid Man for your well-earned reward.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Unless you'd really like to ride it again, I suggest you use the teleport box
to get back to the bottom of the slide. Enter the gate back to Kelp Forest.

------------------------------------------------------------+

You are taken to a balcony overlooking the very beginning of the level, when
you first got here. Jump down and take the teleport box to Mrs. Puff.

Mrs. Puff rewards you the Spatula if you successfully found all of the
                                 campers.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take the teleport box back to the beginning of the level. Then, take the Taxi
back to Bikini Bottom. I hope you're as relieved as I am!

END KELP FOREST WITH:
- 66 Golden Spatulas
- 72 Socks
(These numbers do not include deals made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a good time to take a break.

When you're ready to continue on, we're going to the third section of Bikini
Bottom and taking the right path this time, and taking the taxi to the Flying
Dutchman's Graveyard. It costs you 60 Spatulas to enter.

SPECIAL ITEM(S): Cannons (4)

- Forgive me in advance for my limited knowledge of ship parts. I may just be
calling them "platforms" or "pieces" if I can't think of the name for them. :X

Right off the bat you'll notice how creepy this place is. Walk up to the
Flying Dutchman and have a talk with him. He's been thrown off his own ship,
and it's up to you to reclaim it and take care of the robots.

After a chat with him, you are introduced to a new robot. His name is Slick.
Slick will fire oil blobs at you. You have to hit him with the Cruise Bubble
once to destroy his oil shield, then again to destroy him.

The path then splits. Take the left path and open up the teleport box. Then,
go back and take the right path. Across some moving wooden platforms is a
Chuck, take care of him. Then, you will see three towers with sticky wall
symbols on sides of them. You must use the red buttons to move these towers so
you can climb up them using the sticky walls.

The closest tower to you is Tower 1. The tower farthest from you is Tower 3,
and the one in the middle is Tower 2. Move tower 2 to the right and tower 3
to the left. This creates a wall jump between Towers 1 and 3. Before climbing
up them, remember this spot - you have to come back here later. Then climb up
them. Up here is a Tubelet, destroy it. [CHECKPOINT].

Don't jump down yet. Instead, notice the green goo that is flowing out of the
hole in the structure in the distance. What you need to do is fire a cruise
bubble at the circular door above the hole. This will slam down on the hole
and shut it, preventing any more goo from spilling out of it. As a result, the
depth of the green lake around you goes down quite a bit.

Turn around. Go back to the moving towers you used to get up here. Go down the
steps to your left and feed the clam 2700 shiny objects to open the treasure
chest. It reveals a button.

Press the button. Use the Spongeball ahead of you to get to the end of
this path as quickly as possible. If you make it to the end before time
runs out, the Spatula in the cage is all yours.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Use the sticky walls here to ge back up, then make your way back to the
Checkpoint. Ahead of you is a Chuck hovering above a broken ship. Destroy him,
then walk to the end of that broken ship.

Use R2 to look down. You should see part of a ship sitting in the goo.
Jump down to the broken ship. To your left is the Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Use the springboard/trampoline to get back up. For the sticky wall towers
here, you need to use one of the small towers and the medium-sized tower to
get back up to the Checkpoint, and then just jump across the towertops of the
other small tower and large tower to get to the next path.

This odd-looking ship piece will tilt as you step on it. Watch out for the
Chuck. Another Slick is up here. Up the steps to your right is another Slick
and some more sticky wall towers. Use them to get up top.

*If you're having trouble with the towers, look at this. If not, skip to the
next paragraph. There are four towers. Press the red buttons on the two
furthest to the right. Then, you will see two towers to your left in the same
column. Hit the button on the left of the first one and it will be moved over.
Now, they are all in separate columns. Hit the button on the other side of the
tower in the 2nd column to move it back. Then, hit the red button on the tower
in the 1st column to move it. Use the Sticky Wall between the towers in the
1st and 3rd columns to get up.*

After getting atop the tall tower, you should see a button on a platform to
your right. Press it. A piece of a ship will fall down behind you, allowing
access to the next part. Slide down it. [CHECKPOINT].

    5.14.1: Graveyard of Ships
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

The floating platforms here, which are powered by a blueish flame, collapse
right after you step on them, so be quick when crossing them.

- At the Bus Stop, change into Sandy, turn around, and exit back into the
Entrance Area ("Graveyard Lake"). Follow the familiar path until you reach the
ship. To your right is a teleport box, and in between the two is a series of
swing hooks.

    +---------------------------------------------------------------------+
    | Sock #1 | 73/80 |

Swing across all of the swing hooks. After the last one, hover to a
platform in front of you where a sock is sitting and collect it.
    +---------------------------------------------------------------------+

- Return to the Graveyard of Ships.

Eventually you will get back to where the Bus Stop is. Change into Spongebob
again. To your left is a sticky wall. Go up it. This path will lead to another
Bus Stop. Change into Sandy once again. Ahead of you are some swing hooks. The
distance between the swing hooks is big, so you need to hover a lot between
them. After the last swing hook, hover to a platform with a [CHECKPOINT].

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #2 | 74/80 |

After the Checkpoint, you will go down a couple steps, and then the ship
breaks off. You want to fall into the big crack in the floor and then go
backwards - the sock is under the floor.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Hover over to the next area. Kill all these robots then start hovering to the
steps to your left. Continue up the rest of this path and then change into
Spongebob at the Bus Stop. Climb up the Sticky Wall to your left, beware
though as the space between the walls will try to push you off. (If you're
having trouble getting up the wall fast, try using the D-pad to aid in your
jumps.) [CHECKPOINT] once you get to the top.

Now, you have to navigate a sideways sticky wall. To do this, bounce as you
normally would, but go forward as well. Basically, you need to move diagonally
in the direction of the sail you're bouncing to, so you also move forward.
Additionally, if you go too high, there'll be nowhere to bounce to and you'll
fall off one of the edges. Once you get the hang of this, it's actually pretty
easy.

After getting past that sticky wall, follow the path down, and you will come
to another one, this time without a floor. After navigating that, a Slick will
immediately start shooting at you from the right. Once you've taken care of
him, you will get to a [CHECKPOINT].

Before you can tackle the next sticky wall, the clam to your right will
ask you if you'd like to pay 2700 shiny objects to drop a bungee hook.
Pay it and bungee down for the Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

The next sticky wall is like the last sideways one, except the sails move.
Time your jumps across them. Then, after the path ahead, you reach an
odd-looking contraption. A very odd-looking Sticky Wall indeed. There are two
sides to it; the left side is a normal, nonmoving Sticky Wall, while the right
side consists of several rotating squares that act as walls to jump off of.
This one just requires practice, and after a couple times, you should get up
it just fine. Beware as a Slick and some other robots are waiting for you at
the top.

          +----------------------------------------------------------+
          | Golden Spatula #4 | "Top of the Stack of Ships" | 71/100 |

The Spatula is at the end of this path.
          +----------------------------------------------------------+

The boat to your right will take you to the next area.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    5.14.2: Dutchman's Ship
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

The button here just brings the ship back down, for transportation to the last
area (don't push it). As Mr. Krabs tells you, you need to shut off all the
electricity. Watch out for the Chuck who immediately bombards you.

After that, you get on a ship. In front of you is a cannon with a button on
it. This is [CANNON 1/4]. Press it. Then, walk up to the wires between the
ships and kill the Slick (cruise bubble). After that, use the planks on the
wires to cross over to the other side. You will be attacked by Ham-mers. Try
to destroy the Duplicatotron on the left balcony of this ship (with your
cruise bubble) as fast as you can, to prevent them from coming back.

Now you can start taking out the power generators. These are the devices
transmitting the blue energy beams. After you've taken out all of them on the
lower deck (I believe there are 4), bubble bowl the paddle in the middle of
the deck to lower a platform, then quickly go up the steps on the side of the
ship to get to the right balcony and change into Sandy at the Bus Stop. As
Sandy, get back to the platform and it will rise back up. To your left are a
series of swing hooks that you should use to get back to the other ship.

When you get there, activate [CANNON 2/4]. To your right is a balcony with
another Bus Stop. Hover to it, change into Spongebob, and activate [CANNON
3/4] with your bubble bounce. Then, change back into Sandy, and make your way
up a series of collapsing floating platforms (the ones powered by blue flame)
which you should see to your left. Up here is [CANNON 4/4]. Activate it.

A Golden Spatula will appear and a treasure chest will open up on the other
side of this ship. Don't go there yet, though. In front of you are several
swing hooks. Swing across them, avoiding the Chuck.

You will reach the top of the second ship (robot ship). To your right,
hanging in the air above the Bus Stop, is the sock. Hover to it.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Make your way back up to the top of this ship again. This time, hover to the
opposite (left) balcony, where there is one more power generator to destroy.
You will see the message "ALL ROBOT CANNONS DESTROYED!". Use the swing hooks
to your left to get back to the Bus Stop and treasure chest on the other ship.
Grab the Gold Spatula now.

From where you're standing, go to the edge of the railing overlooking the rest
of the Graveyard (to your right) and look down. You should see a trampoline.

Jump on the trampoline and it will bounce you to the top of this ship,
where there is a Spatula. Use the D-pad or left analog stick to help you
move in the direction you're bouncing, as the trampoline may not be
powerful enough to get you there on its own.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Return to the Bus Stop and treasure chest.

As Spongebob, press the button inside the treasure chest. All the cannons will
fire at the robot ship.

    5.14.3: Flying Dutchman Battle
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

You did what the Dutchman asked, but he doesn't want to give you the Spatula
now. It appears you're going to get it anyway. As Sandy, hover to the circular
platform in the center. Time for your last mini-boss.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #8 | "Defeat the Flying Dutchman" | 74/100 |

The Flying Dutchman will appear. He does this odd heat-vision thing with
his eyes that create lasers that burn into the ground. Jump over them.
Then, he moves to another side and does it again. Again, avoid this. Then,
he creates a wall of flame and comes toward you with it. Jump over it and
quickly lasso his tail. This does round 1 of damage.

After that, the Dutchman does the same attacks, except in rounds 2 and 3
he will do more and more eye-laser attacks. When the wall of flame comes
around, just jump it and lasso his tail. After lassoing his tail 3 times,
                        he gives you the Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

The boat will take you back to Graveyard Lake. From there, go to the Bus Stop
in the Graveyard of Ships to change into Spongebob, and then come back to take
the Taxi home. (Pausing the game and taking the taxi to a Spatula in Bikini
Bottom is always a faster method)

END FLYING DUTCHMAN'S GRAVEYARD WITH:

- 75 Socks

Good job for making it this far, really. We have one last level to go, and you
just have to fall asleep to get there.

In the center of Part 3 of Bikini Bottom, there is a circular formation of
rocks and an EXIT sign. Walk inside the center of the circle and press R1.
Spongebob will begin to get very tired, and maybe even doze off for a bit..

SPECIAL ITEMS: None

By far the most bizarre level in the game, you are going to spend the entire
level in Spongebob's dreamworld, as well as several others'.

The pineapple behind you will take you to Bikini Bottom when you're finished
here.

After a talk with Gary, look at the situation ahead of you. You will see
several green floating boxes with spikes on one or two sides of them. Wait for
the box in front of you to get near you, then jump on it when the spikes are
to the side. Make your way up all these boxes, it may take a couple of tries.

Watch out for the Slick here. The path splits into two at the top. We're
taking the left path first. You will see a bubble-bowl paddle hanging in the
shape of a pinwheel. Ahead of that is a path of floating wooden platforms.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #2 | "Follow the Bouncing Ball" | 75/100 |

Bubble bowl the paddle and a ball will fall on the platform path.
Literally follow the ball to the end of the path, staying close to it but
not pushing it. You will soon notice the Golden Spatula ahead of you.
Wait until the ball gets near end of the platform, then jump on top of
it and double jump to the Spatula as it's rolling off (you'll land on a
                              Krabby Patty).
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take the floating box path back up to where the path split. This time, go
right and go down this slide. At the end you will reach a [CHECKPOINT].

In front of you is a replica of Sandy's Treedome. Enter it to go into Sandy's
Dream.

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    5.15.1: Sandy's Dream
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

Before you start sliding, open the teleport box, then look to your right. You
will see many tikis. Activate one of the thunder tikis, then step back for the
big explosion. This is the third and last Super-Ultra-Mega-Monster Combo in
the game.

Now, you can start sliding! You'll notice how heavily Texas-themed this dream
bubble of Sandy's is.

When the slide splits into two, take the left slide. After going through a lot
of flowers, you will see a yellow building to your left. Jump over to the
platform the building is on. You meet up with Plankton. Feed the clam 2800
shiny objects to open the gate. Ahead of you are several spread out swing
hooks and electrical barriers.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Jump and swing on the first swing hook, then drop down and hover to the
next hook (to avoid the electrical barrier). Then, at the maximum height
of your swing, hover to the next swing hook which is farther up in the
air. At the max height of your swing on this hook, double jump and hover
forward until you run out of momentum and drop. As you're dropping, press
circle when you see the swing hook and you will start swinging on it
rapidly. Use the rest of the swing hooks to get to solid ground.

This area is filled with oil. Kill the Duplicatotron and all the robots
here. A Spatula will appear by the door of the building.

Go to the right side of the building. Hover to the area behind the back
of the building to get the sock that is here.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Use the trampoline near the oil to get back to where you were sliding - start
sliding again.

Stay on the path you're on until you see a new path behind a manure truck to
your left. Quickly jump to it. At the end of this path, jump to the swing hook
and swing to the higher path.

The sock is at the end of this path.
                   +--------------------------------------+

For some reason, the path leads to another oil well. Defeat all the robots
here.

            +-----------------------------------------------------+
            | Sock #3 | 78/80 |

The sock is sitting in the oil, amongst the robots.
            +-----------------------------------------------------+

Use the trampoline to bounce you back. It's pretty straightforward from here
on out. You have to use the swing hooks to get across the giant pile of manure
coming up. Watch out for the cows throwing pies at you.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #3 | "Slidin' Texas Style" | 77/100 |

At the end, jump to the acorn, then climb to the top to get the Spatula.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take the teleport box back to the start of the slide. Change into Spongebob
and bubble-bowl the bubble-bowl paddle behind you to bring down the
star-shaped badge. Climb on it. When it brings you up, take the exit back to
Spongebob's dream.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Back outside of Sandy's "treedome", feed the clam to your right 1000 shiny
objects. Use the trampolines to bounce yourself up. Avoid landing on the
spikes.

After the circular rotating trampolines, surrounded by endless spiked
boxes, you will be bounced to the outside of Squidward's house. On this
last bounce, bounce with an extra jump toward Squidward's tiki and land
on top of it. The Spatula is there, on top of his house.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

- If for some reason you can't get on top of it from the bounce, go behind the
tiki. There are 3 thunder tikis there that you can use to get on the tiki's
ear, and then to the Spatula.

Drop down to his house and go inside.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Open the teleport box, then start jumping across the blue musical notes. (The
barlines below you are transparent and you will fall right through them.) Up
ahead, the orange notes will sink after a couple seconds. Watch out for the
sharp sharp-signs. The blue notes start to move after a while. Eventually you
reach a trampoline, following a sharp sign and the third [CHECKPOINT].

After the trampoline, the blue note will move for you to reach the next
trampoline. Then, the trampoline ahead of you will move for you to bounce on.
Get from that trampoline to three saxophone trampolines. These will bounce you
to some orange notes. After that, cross some more trampolines.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Sock #4 | 79/80 |

After the next four trampolines, there is a sharp sign. After that, you
get on a small trampoline that moves around. Stay on it until it moves to
the left of the path. You should see the sock, it's to your left. Bounce
to it, it is in the air.
+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+

Make your way back to where you were before you jumped for the sock. This
time, continue on the barline path. Ahead of you are some VERY large spaces
in between the orange notes. Make your double jumps extra big to get across
them. [CHECKPOINT].

Don't stay on the moving orange notes too long. After the 5 blue notes, jump
to the trampoline, not the orange note. It's pretty straightforward from here
on out.

     +--------------------------------------------------------------------+

Take the teleport box back to the gate and exit into Spongebob's dream.

------------------------------------------------------------+

Feed the clam 1000 objects to get to Mr. Krabs' dream. Don't step on the spiky

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~+

So, how you do this is: Each robot you destroy takes out another part of a
krabby patty for you to use as a step to get up to the Duplicatotron that
is spitting out that specific type of robot.

The left Duplicatotron is spitting out the "terror-in-triplicate" Tubelets.
The center Duplicatotron is spitting out the Slicks.
The right Duplicatotron is spitting out the Fodder (electrical zap) robots.

For example, if you defeat two Slicks, two Krabby Patty pieces will form two
stairs by the center Krabby Patty.

There is no "good strategy" to this, honestly, every way you look at this is
risky.

My personal strategy:
1. Go around the border defeating four Fodders.
2. Climb up the steps of the Krabby Patty that has become accessible.
3. Destroy this Duplicatotron.
4. Use the top of that Krabby Patty as a place to avoid being attacked.
5. Take out all the Duplicatotrons and remaining Slicks with the Cruise
Bubble.
6. Go down to the Grill and defeat the remaining robots.

Once you've destroyed all Duplicatotrons and robots, a Spatula appears by
                                Squidward.

Take the Spatula and Sock, go through the gate and get out of here.

- 82 Golden Spatulas

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

Like the end of the last level said: You should have 82 Golden Spatulas and
80 Socks altogether, not including deals made with Mr. Krabs or Patrick. What
I want you to do? If you haven't already, return all of your lost socks to
Patrick (he's in Bikini Bottom, still standing by his house.)

Once you've done that, you should have 90 Spatulas (and 0 Socks). Keep in mind
this still doesn't include deals made with Mr. Krabs.

Oh - and if he says "Did you find my lost socks?" then you're still missing
some. :(

------------------------------------------------------------+

+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+
    5.16.2: Mr. Krabs
+*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*+

Now - this may not be as easy - get all 8 Spatulas that you can from Mr. Krabs
that he has to offer. Meaning: Go up to him and trade Shiny Objects for Golden
Spatulas until

A) He says "Yer treasure chest's lookin' a bit light, boy.."
B) He says "The only good robot.."

If he says A, read here. If he says B, scroll down 6 paragraphs (to the para-
graph that starts with 'Trade..'). If he said A, pause the game. Scroll down
to the last level, which is actually just "Mr. Krabs". Count the amount of
Golden Spatulas you have achieved from this 'level' and subtract from 8. That
number is how many more you have left to get. This is the deal for each:

Spatula 1 - Trade 3,000 Shiny Objects
Spatula 2 - Trade 3,500 Shiny Objects
Spatula 3 - Trade 4,000 Shiny Objects
Spatula 4 - Trade 4,500 Shiny Objects
Spatula 5 - Trade 5,000 Shiny Objects
Spatula 6 - Trade 5,500 Shiny Objects
Spatula 7 - Trade 6,500 Shiny Objects
Spatula 8 - Trade 7,500 Shiny Objects

So, for example: If you need 3 more Spatulas, you need Spatulas 6, 7, and 8.
Therefore, you need the added amount of Shiny Objects to get all three.
5,500 + 6,500 + 7,500 = 19,500. That's how many Shiny Objects you have to get.
(If you need more or less Spatulas, obviously, your numbers will be different)
Add up your amounts to get the total that you need.

Since you need all those Shiny Objects, you're probably going to want to do it
quickly. This is my personal method for collecting Shiny Objects as quickly as
possible.

Go to the Pause Menu. Scroll down to Goo Lagoon, and then scroll over to the
task "Through the Sea Caves". Press X to take the taxi. Once you're there,
turn around and go through the gate to the beach. To your right are some
planks, if you recall, you take them to get to a blue and white awning. Bounce
on the awning and get on top of the sand castle to the pile of Thunder and
Stone tikis there. Activate one thunder tiki then hop off the castle. This
gives you, roughly, 500 shiny objects. Then, die. (Preferably, I just hop off
over the edge and drown in the Goo, it's fast and you end up right where you
started again.) Repeat for however many shiny objects you need.

There are several other ways of getting more Shiny Objects. The slopes on
Sand Mountain are a more fun way to get more Shiny Objects (though not faster)
than the Goo Lagoon method. Either way, once you have enough, go back to
Bikini Bottom.

Trade the remaining Spatulas to Mr. Krabs. You should have made all the deals
you can with him. If done successfully, he will say "The only good robot is
one that's giving me them Shiny Objects!" when you confront him again.

This leaves you at an unbelievable 98 Spatulas. Really, good for you if you've
made it this far with that number.

END THE LAST SPATULAS WITH:
- 98 Golden Spatulas
(This number DOES INCLUDE the deals made with Mr. Krabs and Patrick.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That was the last Spatula checkpoint in the game.

All that's left now is the Boss Battles.

.....

ARE YOU EXCITED? YOU SHOULD BE.

Make sure you're all ready to go..then walk into the Chum Bucket, having at
least 75 Spatulas, and enter the door to the lab.

Spatulas to collect - 2

And now, the final robot..Robot Spongebob.

+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| Golden Spatula #1 | "KAH - RAH - TAE!" | 99/100 |

There are 9 different buttons on the Robot Spongebob. Use your Cruise
Bubble to press each one. There are several platforms in a circular
formation around the robot; if you fall off the platforms, Robot Plankton
will start attacking you, so watch out for him. Underwear is also located
below the platforms. You can use the trampolines to get back up.

- ROUND ONE: The robot will immediately try to trip you up with his arm.
Jump over it as it swings across the platforms and shoot a Cruise Bubble
at one of his buttons. He will continue to do this, alternating arms,
until you hit two green buttons. Then, you fight Robot Plankton. Jump
over his attacks and then shoot one cruise bubble at him; he will stop
                     and Robot Spongebob will return.

- ROUND TWO: Robot Spongebob will karate-chop whatever platform you're on.
Jump to your left or right to avoid it; then he tries to trip you up
again. Hit a button at this opportunity. Repeat this two more times (the
robot will karate chop two, then three platforms as you hit the buttons).
After successfully hitting 3 buttons, you face Robot Plankton again.

- ROUND THREE: Once Robot Plankton's gone, Robot Spongebob comes back.
His newest tactic is KAH-RAH-TAE: The letters "KAH" will attack the
platform to the left of the one you're standing on; the letters "RAH"
will attack the platform you're standing on; and the letters "TAE" will
attack the platform to the right of the one you're standing on. "RAH"
attacks first, so jump to your left or right, then quickly jump to a
different platform as "KAH" and "TAE" attack immediately after. After
that, Robot Spongebob repeats his previous attacks. Hit a button when his
arm tries to trip you. Repeat this; it gets a little harder since the
robot attacks you more times before giving you the opportunity to shoot a
button. After three buttons, be ready to face Robot Plankton once more.

- ROUND FOUR: No new attacks here, just hit the last remaining button

As you can see, the robot has become an enormous size. Jump on the first
trampoline to get started. You are bounced to a platform with some robots.
Once you take care of them, Robot Plankton comes back. Take care of him
and follow the path to your left. The point from here on out is to take
out the silver fuses like the one you see here. Following the path after
this one, you will need to take out fuses with your bubble bash, bubble
bounce, and bubble bowl, respectively, while defeating all of the robots
along the way. Also, beware of Robot Plankton, who you must ward off
                      several times along the path.

After hitting the fuse behind the blue energy beams with your bubble bowl,
a trampoline will take you to a higher platform. Robot Plankton attacks
you again. Once you hit him, look ahead of you. There is a small tunnel
with lights inside it. Aim a Cruise Bubble down to the end of the tunnel
and hit the fuse there. Then, take the trampoline to another platform.
Repeat for the next two tunnels.

Robot Spongebob begins to malfunction, and..well, you get to watch the ending.
:D

- After a nice little cutscene of the theme song, you are taken to the
SPONGEBALL ARENA! Here are a lot of shiny objects, but it's just for fun. The
credits for the game roll while you're in this area. Stay here as long as you
want (the shiny objects create a sort of path that you can follow). When you
want to leave, press triangle - or, I'd prefer, make it to the "Finish". Happy
Spongeballing!

That, everyone, is the end of the game. You're finished, done! 100 Spatulas.
Congratulations. ~woohoo~

Well, I hope you've had fun. I love the game, the show, and the characters,
and this is (in my opinion) the best game from the series ever created. If you
ever need any help, e-mail me and let me know. And with that, we finish!

If you can pay the massive toll fee, you may enter this place. *SPOILERS if
you for some reason don't want to know what's inside.* Honestly though, it's
just concept artwork for the design of the game. It's pretty neat stuff, but
there's no hidden levels or anything. It's in section 3 of Bikini Bottom if
you didn't know.

Err, thanks a bunch to the creators of this game and of course Stephen
Hillenburg. Thanks to the entire team of people that helped with the game,
your names are all in the credits of course. Thank you to anyone who uses this
guide, and anyone who recommends it to someone else as well. Thanks especially
to - I believe, according to the credits? - Jimmy Levine, Bobby Crew, and Alex
Wilkinson for composing the wonderful music in the game.

Additional thanks to some of my favorite bands and vocalists, just for
concentration, for everything: The Shins, Ellie Goulding, The Bird and the
Bee, Local Natives, Joanna Newsom, Nickel Creek, The xx, and Vampire Weekend
especially.

Also thanks to anyone I'm giving this to personally for making it this far, if
you see this thank you LOL.~

All strategies used in this guide are my own that I have used to complete the
game, EXCEPT: Originally, when I first played this game years ago, I used
Kevin Butler (aka War Doc)'s general strategy for completing the Kelp Swamp
section of Kelp Forest (section 5.13.1); I since then have improvised that
strategy, and the strategy used to complete it in this guide is consequently
loosely based off the way he did it in his FAQ/Walkthrough. None of the
strategies in this guide were used without credit.
