Question from NESinxs
Up button on d-pad does not work sometimes?
I have a PS2 slim that works fine, games load, and the controller mostly works. It is a dual shock 2, model SCPH 10010. However, the up button on the d-pad does not work at all (all other buttons and analog sticks work). Sometimes when I remove and plug the controller back in, it works, and other times I only have to reset the game for it to work. Now, though, it won't work no matter what I do. Any suggestions for how to fix this? I'd appreciate any help.

Sounds like its busted. Unfortunately, given how the controllers are put together, you can't fix it yourself. Either get used to playing games that don't need it or buy a new Sony controller.
