None of my games work except for blue back discs, why?

It is the slim version

I put it horizontal and vertical

I cleaned the lens with a quetip

only black back and blue back disks work

Black discs - PS1 (CDs)
Blue disc - PS2 CDs
Everything else - DVDs
Your PS2 is obviously no longer playing DVDs. Since cleaning the lens has made no difference, you will need to adjust the lens but I have no idea how you would do that on a slim.

no~ Most ps2 games have golden backs... I'd buy a new one, it's a trouble going through hitting, yelling, and obliterating at your ps2 like i did when my fat one did the same thing. Yeah, sure you can try crooning it, clean it, and try fixing it, but you'll eventually try taking it apart to fix the problem, then ripping a cord out of it's place and never even playing a black back or a blue back, so you'll buy a new one anyway. Its fastest to save up money, and buy a new one, if you're dying to play it again like i was.
