SNK's answer to Capcom vs SNK 2 has arrived...unfortunately. SvC was supposed
to be SNK's answer to the excellent second showing from Capcom's side of the
versus series, though it seems like a very mixed bag. SvC was sloppily thrown
together, and gives me and others the impression that it was rushed through
development(why?). There was the initial loss because of hardware limitations,
but the gameplay ruined it. MAny characters had(and some still do have)
infinites and 100%'s, and pretty much every boss character is unbalanced
horridly, Shin Akuma and Zero come to mind. Also unfortuneately, many people
play with these characters online, and some even have the nerve to consider it
not cheap. For example, everyone in the top 10 on Xbox Live use a hidden
character to win. Avoid them.

EXCEED moves - Exceed moves are last ditch efforts. If you are in red health
and have a full meter, you can use an exceed move. Most exceed moves are 
extremely powerful, usually if connecting take a full bar of health. But, most
exceed moves are...exceedinly complex. Enough that trying to pull them off is
more of a liability than an advantage. There are certain ones that are easy
(Mars People - D,D,D + LP or SP) is very damaging, accurate and easy to pull
off.

Guard Cancels - All take 1 stock pn your power meter.

GCFS, Guard cancel front step. By pressing F, F while blocking, you will slip
past an opponent behind them, leaving them WAY open for a big combo.

GCA, Guard Cancel Attack. Pressing CD together while blocking(LK-SK) will let
you do a counter attack that will knock your opponent back.

QGCFS, Quick guard cancel front step. Pressing BC together(SP-LK) will allow
you to do a quick step. Which is just a faster GCFS.

MAX mode -

When you reach full stock(3 meters), you will go into MAX mode. While in this
mode, you can perform as many super specials as you like, and it will slowly
drain over time. In MAX mode you can also use Super Cancels and you can Free
Cancel. Free cancel basically let's you cancel any move with another. Super
Cancel lets you do things like cancel specials into super specials, or super
specials into other super specials.

Super Jump - Press D, U to do a super jump. It makes you jump longer and faster
in a direction.

Guard Crush - Below your health bar is your guard crush meter. If your meter
hits zero, which is acheived by being hit too many times while blocking, then
for a split-second your guard will "break" and you will be wide open to attack.

Fighting game lingo can be confusing. I've made this key to help you out. This
key is designed around if your characters is facing RIGHT. If (s)he is facing
left, then reverse all the motions.

F - Forward
B - Backward
U - Up
D - Down
DB - Down-back
DF - Down-forward
UB - Up-back
UF - Up-forward
QCF - Quarter cirlce forward (or down, down-right, right)
QCB - Quarter circle back(ward) (or down, down-left, left)
DP - Dragon Punch (or right, down, down-right)
RDP - Reverse Dragon Punc (or left, down, down-left)
HCF - Half circle forward (or left, down-left, down, down-right, right)
HCB - Half cirlce backward (or right, down-right, down, down-left, left)
360 - Roate joystick 360(one full motion clockwise)
R360 - Reverse joystick 360(one full motion counter-clockwise)
HP - Hard punch
LP - Light punch
HK - Hard kick
LK - Light kick
[anything](x3) - When you see (x3), it means you can pull the move off three
times consecutively.
> - If you see a > before a move, it means it's a continuation move. Where if
you do the move above it, you can then execute the > move. There can be
multiple >'s which indicates more than one continuation.

If there's a comma between two motions, they are linked,
(Example: QCF, HCB) it means the motion would go: down, down-right, right, 
down-rightm down, down-left, left.

[NOTE: If you see two things linked(example: LP-LP) that means that you can
press the button again for an extra hit.]

Athena is god tier, because she is invincible at every special move she does.
She is unbeatable. Even if the person weilding her sucks horribly.

Shin, Geese and Zero are top, because Shin is easy as hell to use, has
unlimited special fireballs, air double fireball, and an undodgeable exceed
that rules(not undodgeable, but only a few things can avoid it, and you have to
have MAD timing to do so). Zero still has his infinite combo, which is now
harder, but still possible.

Online Etiquette:

Look at the tier list above. See the god and top tiers? Don't use them! You
ruin the game for everyone else. In fact, DO NOT USE ANY SPECIAL CHARACTERS
(aside from Dan and Mars People). Just DO NOT use them.

A: Honestly, if you insist on using it, just pressing all four buttons and
forward at the same time usually does the trick if you seem to not pull it off
the normal way.
