c) About the game
-----------------
The game is a fighting game, and is about a gang called the Warriors,
who need to get back to their turf on Coney Island after being
wrongly accused of killing Cyrus, the leader of the Riffs (the
largest gang in the city). A few months ago, the Warriors did a few
other missions, such as protecting their turf and settling the score
with rival gangs.
In the game, you can beat up gang members in almost any way
imaginable; yes, you can smash people's heads off walls, hit them in
the face with a brick and even break their necks. Almost anything you
find can be used as a melee weapon.

e) Gameplay
-----------
There are a variety of other functions that you can perform in the
game.
Mugging: To mug someone, grab them and press the triangle button.
Then use the left analogue stick to find and hold vibration. You must
fill your bar before the victim fills his/hers.
Lock picking: Some stores can be entered by picking the lock on the
door. Press the triangle button when at the door, and three sets of
tumblers will appear, which spin from big to small. Press the X
button when the tumblers are in the red area. If all three tumblers
are in the darker red area, the store alarm will NOT go off and you
will get a bonus of 1000 points.
Stealing car radios: To steal a car radio, smash the window and press
the triangle button. Then rotate the left analogue stick anti-
clockwise to unscrew and steal the radio. You get $15 for stealing a
car radio.
Resisting arrest: If a cop tries to arrest you, use the left analogue
stick to avoid vibration. You must fill your bar before the cop fills
his.
Uncuffing: Sometimes the cops will arrest your Warriors. Walk over to
an arrested Warrior and press the triangle button. Then alternatively
press L1 and R1 to uncuff them.
Cuffing: To handcuff someone, knock them down, mount them and press
the R1 button. Then use the left analogue stick to find and hold
vibration. You must fill your bar before the victim fills his/hers.
You must have handcuffs to do this and they aren't available until
you complete the Vigilante Justice bonus objective.
THIS IS A STYLE MOVE.
Tagging: If you have spray in your inventory, walk up to a tag and
press triangle to start spraying over it. Use the left analogue stick
to move the circle through the yellow line. If you move completely
off the line, you waste time and spray, and you may have to use
another spray can. If you manage to spray over a tag without making a
mistake, you get a bonus of 1000 points.
Combo attacks: The following button sequences are combo attacks -
Square, square
Square, square, square
Square, X
X, square
X, X
Square, square, X
Extended power moves: When you've grabbed an opponent, press square +
X and then X, X to do an extended power move. In rage mode, this will
almost always kill an opponent.
Snap attacks: Push towards an enemy behind you or beside you using
the left analogue stick, and hit square to do a snap attack.
Wall smashes: Drag a grabbed opponent towards a wall, push towards
the wall using the left analogue stick and press circle to smash your
opponent into it.
THIS IS A STYLE MOVE.
Running attacks: When running, press square or X to do a running
attack.
Tandem moves: If one of your Warriors has grabbed an opponent and is
holding them from behind, approach the opponent and press square or X
to do a tandem move (headbutt, knee to the face, etc.) Your Warriors
can also do tandem moves on enemies that you have grabbed.
THIS IS A STYLE MOVE.
Projectile weapon face/head smashes: If you have a one-handed
projectile weapon (bottle, brick, etc.), approach an enemy and press
square or X to smash it off their face/head.
THIS IS A STYLE MOVE.
Counterattacks: When you're about to be grabbed or tackled, hit
square or X at exactly the right time to break the grab/tackle and
attack them. You can also do this when blocking. When you duck while
blocking, release R1 and quickly press square or X. If you've been
knocked down, hit square or X as you get up to attack.
THIS IS A STYLE MOVE.
Stealth kills: When you're in the shadows, lock on to an enemy, move
up behind them and press square or X to perform a stealth kill on
them. Cleon, Swan, Snow, Ajax and Cochise can perform more violent
stealth kills (slitting throats with knives, choking with a bat,
etc.) whereas Rembrandt, Vermin, Fox and Cowboy perform the same
stealth kill, which is hitting their target on the head with their
elbow.
THIS IS A STYLE MOVE.
Special stabbing: If you are holding a knife, grab someone and press
square or X to stab them in power move fashion.
Style moves: Performing style moves gives you a lot of points and
gives your rage meter quite a boost. Some examples are throwing
enemies into breakable objects, throwing enemies off rooftops,
throwing a knife at an enemy and trying on an enemy's hat. There are
a few style moves mentioned above, too.

Each of the nine Warriors has different strengths and weaknesses.
This is how well they perform the skills in the game. If a strength
has chevrons (<>) between it, it is one of the Warrior's best
strengths. The four stats (strength, stamina, health and rage) are
rated out of 10.

g) Warchief commands
--------------------
There are 6 commands you can issue to your Warriors, only when they
are in range. This is what they all do:
Let's Go: Your Warriors will follow you. If you are away from them,
they will come to you.
Wreck 'Em All: Your Warriors will attack enemies. Lock onto an enemy
and your Warriors will attack him/her. If someone tries to call the
cops or alert a gang, your Warriors will try to stop them.
Watch My Back: Your Warriors will protect you.
Hold Up: Your Warriors will stay where they are.
Mayhem: Your Warriors will trash anything in sight. If you are in a
store, they will trash it and steal the stuff.
Scatter: Your Warriors will split up and look for hiding places.
--------------
h) The Hangout
--------------
The hangout is where you go after completing a mission. There are
many things to do at the hangout.
Go to the yellow marker to start the next mission.
Go to the purple marker to play a Flashback mission.
Go to the map to replay a completed mission.
Go to the pinball machine to access Rumble Mode.
Go to the gym area downstairs to workout.
Go to the doors around the hangout to go outside to Coney Island.
Go to the TV to view the game stats. Use this to see if you've beaten
a target score or completed a bonus objective in a mission.
Go to the arcade game machine to play 'Armies Of The Night' once
you've completed all the missions.
-------
i) Tips
-------
-When you're being chased by cops and gang members, try hopping
fences and cutting corners. The police and other gangs aren't as good
as hopping fences as the Warriors are. Also try running into shadows,
where you won't be able to be seen. Lure cops and gang members away
by throwing bottles and bricks. There are almost always bottles and
bricks in shadows.
-If the police have been alerted, the blue ring around the radar
won't fade out until the cops give up. Once it's completely faded,
you are safe. The same goes for when enemy gangs have been alerted by
their scouts. The orange ring around the radar will fade when the
gang members give up looking for you.
-When you attack using weapons, your rage meter will fill up faster
than normal. This also happens when you perform style moves. When in
rage mode, you are invincible. Use this to your advantage.
-Try to keep your Warriors in range. If they aren't in range when you
get arrested or taken out, they won't be able to come to your aid and
the mission will end in failure. If you get taken out, you must have
Flash in your inventory for your Warriors to revive you.
-Keep an eye on the grey grab stamina bar at your feet. When you grab
or mount an opponent, it will deplete, so avoid grabbing enemies too
much.
-You can perform stealth kills when you are not even in the shadows.
To do this, enter the shadows, lock on to an enemy and walk out of
the shadows behind them. As long as you are still locked on, you will
be able to perform a stealth kill, but if you move to far away from
the shadows, you will come out of stealth mode.
-Some weapons will break down into smaller, more deadly weapons. A
good example is the bottle - smash it off an opponent's face and it
will break in half, allowing you to use it like a knife for stabbing.
-Unarmed running attacks seem to do a lot of damage to cabinets in
stores. Do an unarmed running attack on a cabinet (the ones with
glass doors) and the glass will break immediately. Do the same attack
to the money till and it will open immediately.
-Avoid getting set on fire. If you get set on fire, there is no way
to put out the flames, so you'll just have to wait until the fire
burns out.
----------------------------
j) Story mission walkthrough
----------------------------
There are eighteen story missions to get through. The first three
teach you the game basics.
i) New Blood
------------
Player 1 Warrior: Rembrandt
Player 2 Warrior: Ash
Target score: 5000
This is the first mission in the game. Just walk into the two yellow
markers for the first bit. You learn about basic combat at the next
part. Cleon sends a bum named Rudy into the pen, who you need to beat
up. Follow the instructions on the screen and eventually Rudy will
have had enough.
Cleon then sends four more bums into the pen. You learn about snap
attacks, throwing opponents, weapons and rage mode at this stage.
Again, follow the onscreen instructions to finish off the bums.
Now for the final part to pass your initiation: take on some
Warriors. Three Warriors enter the pen. If you can handle the attack,
you pass your initiation and you'll get your vest.
Once in your vest, Cleon says you're a bit beaten up. Vermin decides
to take you out to the streets to go see a Flash dealer to heal you.
Once on the streets, you learn how to steal from stores, how to steal
car radios and how to mug people.
After that, follow Vermin over fences and through buildings, and
you'll finally reach the dealer. Buy some Flash from him and use it
to heal yourself. Flash costs $20 and Flash dealers are on the radar
as lightning bolts.
ii) Real Live Bunch
-------------------
Player 1 Warrior: Cleon
Player 2 Warrior: Vermin
Target score: 2000
Back at the hideout, Cleon and Vermin are pleased with your
performance, but suddenly some Destroyers throw a Molotov cocktail
through the window. The Destroyers are the Warriors' main enemy gang.
Cleon wants to round up the gang and teach the Destroyers a lesson.
Here you'll learn how to issue commands to your Warriors. Select
'Let's Go' to make your Warriors follow you. Go through the alleys
and you'll find Ajax.
After that, continue through the alleys and you'll find Snow and
Cowboy having trouble with some cops. They get handcuffed by them,
but luckily the cops have to go somewhere else, giving you a chance
to uncuff your Warriors. Uncuff them then head through the alleys to
find Fox.
Unfortunately, the cops are looking for Fox, who is hiding nearby.
Select 'Hold Up' to make your Warriors stay where they are. Distract
the cops by going onto the nearby rooftop and throwing a bottle at
the objective marker. The cops go to investigate the noise, allowing
Fox to escape back to the group. He says that Swan and Cochise are
nearby.
Go into the nearby store by picking the lock. Order your Warriors to
wreck the place by selecting 'Mayhem.' Grab some stuff from the
shelves, then pick the lock on the back door, and continue searching
for Swan and Cochise.
They are fighting some Destroyers and manage to take them out, but
then more Destroyers arrive. Select 'Wreck 'Em All' to make your
Warriors attack the Destroyers. Take out all the Destroyers by using
everything you learned in the first mission. After that, Swan
suggests they go back to check out their hangout. When they get
there, they discover that a Destroyer tag has been sprayed on the
wall. Cleon is annoyed and wants revenge.
iii) Payback
------------
Player 1 Warrior: Rembrandt
Player 2 Warrior: Vermin
Target score: 17000
Time to get the Destroyers back for tagging your hangout wall. In
this mission, you learn about tagging.
Go onto the roof and spray over the Destroyer tag. After snuffing out
the tag, head to the streets.
You'll find two Destroyers beside a tag. Beat them up and go to the
tag. Wait, you have no spray. There's a spray dealer nearby who can
sell you some for $5 (follow the spray can icon on the radar). Buy
some and spray over two tags in the area.
Now you need to hit the back alleys. Go into the alleys and spray
over three more Destroyer tags. You shouldn't have too much trouble
with the Destroyers as you enter the alleys. Just check your radar
for the tags.
After three tags have been snuffed out, go to the objective marker
and you'll find some more tags in the area. Spray over three more of
them. You will probably need more spray and money at this point. You
can get money by stealing from stores and cars, and by mugging
people. Watch out for cops, though. Find the dealer, buy some spray
from him and continue tagging. Watch out for Destroyers guarding some
tags. After tagging, go to the objective marker to continue the
mission.
Your Warriors tell you about a big burner on the wall of the
Destroyers' hangout. Your job: snuff it out. There are Destroyer
scouts guarding the area and you have to take them out. This is where
you learn about stealth. Sneak up behind the first scout and kill him
by performing a stealth kill. Take out the next scout, and then
you'll learn about distracting scouts using noise. Pick up a bottle
and throw it at the objective marker to distract the scout. Run to
the shadows and take out the scout when he returns to his starting
position. There is one more scout to kill. Throw a bottle towards the
truck trailer and run to the shadows near to where the scout was
standing. When he returns to where he was standing, kill him. Note
that when you go enter shadows when no one sees you, the radar turns
blue. Now go to the burner on the hangout wall. If you don't have any
spray, take some from the box, and spray over the burner. There are
three layers to make. When you're finished, watch the cutscene where
Virgil, the leader of the Destroyers, finds out his burner was
snuffed out.
When the mission is over, you will be back at your hangout.
iv) Blackout
------------
Player 1 Warrior: Vermin
Player 2 Warrior: Snow
Target score: 12000
While on your way to get some 'action', your train stops because of a
blackout. Fortunately, you manage to get out.
Head up to the streets to see what's going on. It's a riot! Time to
join in with making chaos. Cause destruction by smashing up stores,
cars, public property, etc. You also need to steal $350 from stolen
goods. There are plenty of stores to rob, so get in there and rob
'em. Continue through the streets and you'll find a car with a radio
in it. You need to steal three car radios. On the way to the red
objective marker on the radar, you go through an alley. As you enter
the alley, go right, past a brown container. There is a car here with
a radio in it.
Continue through the city and some riot cops will arrive. Make your
Warriors split up using the 'Scatter' command. One of the cop cars
has a radio in it. Watch out for the cops. Fortunately, Vermin and
Snow are both good at stealing car radios. Once all your objectives
are complete, go to the park with your gang to get back to Coney.
On the way, the lights come back on and Baseball Furies spot you. Run
through the park and get to the subway, which is easy to do, as the
subway is very close by. Now onto the next mission.
v) Real Heavy Rep
-----------------
Player 1 Warrior: Cleon
Player 2 Warrior: Fox
Target score: 7000
The Orphans lied about taking down the Warriors. Time for revenge.
Let's see who the streets will believe.
Go down the stairs to the streets, where you will encounter some
Orphans. Just waste them. After that, go to the gate and a bum tells
you that there are more Orphans at the clinic. Go up the stairs
towards the clinic. You have to climb down to get to the objective
marker.
Here you find thirteen more Orphans, so waste them. (There is a fence
nearby that you can break down. Behind this fence is some Flash and
oooh... a machete!) Once the Orphans are dead, go to the objective
marker at the clinic door.
An Orphan lieutenant, named Jesse, is kicked out of the clinic, and
legs it when he spots you. Chase him onto the streets and he will
reach some more Orphans. You need to interrogate Jesse, but waste the
Orphans first as they will just make life difficult. Chase and grab
Jesse, then interrogate him. Interrogating is the same as mugging,
but you get information instead of money. He tells you where the
Orphans' hangout is. (By the way, it is possible to catch Jesse
before he reaches the streets. He climbs over a fence slowly, giving
you a chance to grab him, as long as you perform a quick fence
climb.) Go to the Orphan's hangout to continue.
You find another group of Orphans on the way. Unless you want to
fight them, simply bash through them and run to the hangout.
At the hangout, you have yet another group of Orphans to deal with.
There are plenty of smashable objects to throw the Orphans into,
which can build up your rage faster. When the Orphans are history, a
woman named Mercy tells you where to find the Orphans' leader, Sully
- he is working on his car at a car body shop.
Go to the body shop (watch out for Orphans on the way), and when you
find Sully, he runs for it and closes a gate behind him, preventing
you from getting to him. Cleon spots Sully's car, which calls for a
change of plans. Order your Warriors to trash the car while you hold
off the Orphans that Sully sends out to stop you from wrecking his
pride and joy. When Sully's car has been turned into Sully's wrecked
car, laugh in his face and do the next mission.
vi) Writer's Block
------------------
Player 1 Warrior: Rembrandt, Snow
Player 2 Warrior: Ajax
Target score: 8000
Cleon wants you to finish the burner outside. There are three more
layers to make for it, but you only have two cans of spray, so you'll
have to get some money and buy some from the spray dealer, who is
nearby. (If you replay this mission, you will not need to do this
part again.) Rembrandt then spots an advertisement for a burner
contest and talks the gang into going there. When the action resumes,
go to the Soho courtyard where the contest is located.
The contest is fun. It's a tagging contest, and you have to make a
five-layer burner before the three other gangs do. The best way to
win is to grab as many cans of fresh paint as you can before
making/continuing your burner. The enemy gangs may attack you while
you are tagging, so make your Warriors defend you at all costs.
Fortunately, you're controlling Rembrandt, who is the best tagger in
the gang.
When your burner is finished, you are announced the winner, but then
the Hi-Hats, led by Chatterbox, double-cross you. All the exits are
barred, except one, which is a lift. You are now controlling Snow.
Press the lift switch and hold off the Hi-Hats until the lift
arrives, which happens in 30 seconds. When the lift arrives, go to it
to escape from the madness.
You are now on the roof and you need to waste Chatterbox. You don't
throw bricks at Chatterbox; you throw them at the pulley, which is
holding up a platform above Chatterbox. Hit the pulley three times
and the platform falls on top of Chatterbox, making him crash to the
ground. The Hi-Hats spot you and make for the lift.
Time to escape from the Hi-Hats by getting across the rooftops. You
need to jump from rooftop to rooftop a lot. Make sure you're
sprinting all the time, and jump when prompted. (You have infinite
stamina.) There is a fence at one part that you need to smash
through. At the end, you jump through a skylight and into
Chatterbox's art gallery.
Trash Chatterbox's gallery before backup arrives. Backup arrives in 3
minutes so hurry. Grab a sledgehammer and smash up the sculptures and
stuff. You can also spray over the paintings. Throwing the barrels of
paint is fun. When the place is wrecked, you escape and when
Chatterbox enters, it doesn't take him long to spot the mess. As you
might expect, he wants revenge.

You need to get a guy named Sanchez to pay up, but he's protected by
a gang called the Hurricanes.
Go towards the objective marker and on the way, you'll encounter a
group of Hurricanes by a car. Get rid of them. (The Hurricanes in
blue clothes have knives.) Make your way to the Stripes and Solids,
but watch out for more groups of Hurricanes.
Once at the Stripes and Solids, you have to contend with another
group of Hurricanes. Just throw them into tables and chairs to build
up your rage. Grab a pool cue when possible for extra damage. When
the fight is over, Sanchez legs it out of the bar. Chase down that
fool!
Chase Sanchez through the back alleys until he reaches a group of
Hurricanes. Kill them all (pick up the Flash behind the container),
then resume chasing Sanchez. He leads you to yet another group of
Hurricanes. Waste them, then continue chasing Sanchez, who reaches a
building. He knocks on the door, looking for someone called Diego,
but there is no reply and he runs up to the roof. Now you have to
deal with Diego, who is big. REAL big, and he's armed with a support
beam.
Throw some bricks at Diego, but watch out when he runs at you, as
that support beam can really hurt you. Simply order your Warriors to
attack Diego and it should be easy, as long as you avoid Diego's
attacks. There's some Flash on the stairs that you may need if your
health gets low.
After a quarter of Diego's health is gone, Vargas, his brother, comes
into the room to help him. Continue attacking Diego, but watch out
for the stuff that Vargas throws at you from the balcony.
After a while, two more Hurricanes come into the room and Vargas
comes downstairs to help his brother. Now you have two big guys to
deal with. Diego's health should almost be gone by now, so waste him.
Now deal with Vargas in the same way as you dealt with his brother.
Try charging into him to knock a fair bit of health off him. Don't
worry too much about the other Hurricanes who throw stuff at you, but
watch out for the stuff that Vargas throws at you from the broken
down door. Once Vargas is finished, the Warriors get Sanchez to pay
up, but afterwards he falls to his death.
Note: Make sure you pick up the Flash on the stairs before you fight
Vargas because when Vargas comes, a chandelier falls on the Flash and
destroys it. Also, you cannot grab Diego or Vargas.

Chatterbox and his Hi-Hats are back... and on your turf. Chatterbox
sends his gang to take you out.
What you need to do is take THEM out and avoid getting taken out. A
lot of the Hi-Hats have knives. Watch out for the Hi-Hats who throw
knives at you from behind crates. One group of Hi-Hats behind crates
are near a 'hot steam' tank. Press the button on it to make hot steam
blow out at them, which kills them. When the Hi-Hats are dead,
Chatterbox goes inside.
You need to search for Chatterbox, but you have Hi-Hats to deal with
first. Go into the shadows directly on the left and follow the
shadows around the back of the room, killing the Hi-Hats using
stealth kills. This way, you can avoid fighting them. After that,
press the power button on the wall. Now go to the objective marker on
the rollercoaster tracks.
A rollercoaster car will appear. Press the X button continuously to
outrun it, and you'll end up in another room with another group of
Hi-Hats in it. Avoid the green smoke - it will blur your vision. Take
out the Hi-Hats and climb up to the next room where you will find
Chatterbox. Time to waste him.
But first, you need to deal with a few more of his Hi-Hats. Try to
throw them into the path of the rollercoaster car to kill them in one
go. Watch out for the Molotovs that Chatterbox throws at you. When
the Hi-Hats are dead, throw stuff at Chatterbox until he comes down
to fight. (You cannot grab him.) When his health bar is nearly empty,
he'll get stunned; try stunning him when he's on the rollercoaster
tracks! If not, he'll pop some Flash and you'll have to keep
attacking him until he gets stunned again. He'll run out of Flash
eventually, so you can just beat the crap out of him when this
happens.
ix) Payin' The Cost

Player 1 Warrior: Cleon

The Plumbing Store has been trashed, and Destroyers did it! You need
to get the protection money from the other three stores.
Go get the money from the Little Buddha, the Meat Market and Voodoo
Motors. Don't damage the stores whatever you do - you're supposed to
be protecting them. Once you've got the money, go back to the
Plumbing Store to regroup with Snow. Some Destroyers arrive and torch
a hotdog stand.
Now you need to prevent the four stores from being destroyed by the
Destroyers. Make sure you sprint to a store when it is being
attacked. Try not to jump through the windows to attack quickly, as
it will decrease the store's health. Also, try not to throw the
Destroyers into smashable objects, as this will also decrease the
store's health. When the attacks stop, head back to the Plumbing
Store. A guy named Tony says that Destroyers trashed his store. He
then shows you Ash's vest. Cleon and Swan go to Tony's store and find
Ash dead. Then they realise that it's a trap. The Destroyers have you
locked in the yard.
To open the gate, you need to smash the lock using a sledgehammer.
Watch out for the Molotov cocktails that the Destroyers throw at you.
If one hits a car, get away from it because the car will explode. If
your health gets low, grab Flash hidden around the yard. After you've
hit the lock a few times, the view changes. Once the lock is off the
gate, you run for it.
x) Destroyed
------------
Player 1 Warrior: Cleon
Player 2 Warrior: Vermin
Target score: 8000
This mission comes right after the previous one, so you are not back
at the hangout until after this mission. The Warriors and Destroyers
have gone to war.
First you need to trash two East Coney stores. There are Destroyers
outside the stores and trashing them attracts their attention, so
they will rush in to attack. You can use Molotov cocktails inside the
stores to take them out when they are grouped.
Once the two stores are wrecked, go to the back alleys to ruin the
Destroyer operations. The nearest one is pimping. Take out the pimp
and his ho's. The pimp is quite tough, but your rage will build up,
allowing you to finish him off faster. Now go through the alleys and
you'll find a collection of stolen goods, guarded by Destroyers. The
goods are easy to destroy. Take out the Destroyers, too. Finally,
continue through the alleys to a gambling house, which is full of
Destroyers. There are plenty of tables and chairs to throw them into,
which is a good way to build up your rage. When the gambling house is
clear, go to the objective marker.
Now you need to kill the four Destroyer lieutenants. Two of them are
on rooftops. The lieutenants are surprisingly easy to kill, even
though there are other Destroyers guarding them. Keep an eye out for
some Flash on an awning, near a lieutenant who is on a rooftop.
After that, head to the Destroyers' hangout. There are lots of
Destroyers to fight through, but it is easy because your Warriors are
helping you. Fight along the metal walkway, through the barrage of
Destroyers, pick the lock on the gate at the end and break down the
door to enter the hangout.
Once inside, there are more Destroyers to wreck. Try getting a pool
cue when you can. When the Destroyers have been wasted, Vermin says
that Virgil isn't around, but then Snow spots LC outside.
This is an easy task. Follow LC to Virgil without getting made.
Whenever you find some shadows, enter them and move to the end of
them to make the camera look at LC so you can see if he's moving or
not. Just stay in the shadows until LC moves again.
When you find Virgil, he is armed with Molotov cocktails and the only
way to hurt him at this point is to throw bottles and stuff at him,
as he is on a balcony. Try to avoid his Molotovs. When he goes into
another room, go in there with him and continue the fight. Now Virgil
is on the same level as you, but if you try to attack him at close
range, he'll knock you down and hide. There are more bottles in here
so just throw them at him until he goes into another room. Follow him
into there and now you can attack him at close range. Because of
Virgil's Molotov cocktails, the ceiling is burning and crumbling, so
watch out for burning bits of ceiling plaster. When Virgil's health
is gone, watch Cleon finish him off by burning him alive. Woo! No
more Virgil! All of Coney Island now belongs to the Warriors!
xi) Boys In Blue
----------------
Player 1 Warrior: Cochise
Player 2 Warrior: Vermin
Target score: 9000
Your mission is to find Snow and Fox, but you're stuck in a subway
station, with cops fighting gangs up on the streets.
You need to throw a Turnbull AC into an oncoming train. Leave Vermin
and Cowboy in the shadows and sneak into the shadows beside the
Turnbulls. They will spot you for a split second, but then lose you.
Wait for a train, grab a Turnbull and throw him into the train. The
cops then open up the subway station, allowing you to escape.
Head to the gambling club (watch out for the cops) and the bouncer
inside says that you need to give him some money if you want
information.
You need to bring $75 to the bouncer. Leave your Warriors in the
shadows beside the building and go get some money. Watch out for the
cops, though. When you have enough money, go back to the club and the
bouncer says that the sewers are a way to get to where you need to
go, but they're locked.
Go to the objective marker, get some bolt cutters, then go to the
sewers and open the gate. Go through the sewers, and on the way
you'll find some bums who tell you that if you give them money,
they'll come with you. You don't have to do this. Climb over the
boxes and break through the door to get to the objective marker.
(Watch out for the Turnbulls.)
After hearing an unpleasant conversation between some Turnbulls, head
to the Red devil. Here, you find Snow and Fox injured, and you get
reinforcements before entering the bar.
Now to take out the Turnbulls in the bar. This is fairly easy. Don't
forget to take out the band (the Angry Cocks). When the bar is clear,
the barman (who throws bottles at you during the fight) tells you
where to find Birdie: the Turnbull lieutenant responsible for
attacking Snow and Fox.
Go to the objective marker to get to the refinery. You may need some
Flash for the next part of the mission, so buy some from the Flash
dealer. When you reach the refinery, climb down to get to the
objective marker.
Now you've found Birdie, kill him. He's got a gun! Select 'Wreck 'Em
All' to make your Warriors throw bricks at him. When he moves, you
can hit him. Select 'Scatter' to make your Warriors hide so they
don't get shot. Throw stuff at Birdie, and when he moves again,
select 'Wreck 'Em All' again, but make sure you hide or you'll get
shot. Keep repeating this process until Birdie goes to the back of
the compound. There, he's a sitting duck. Throw one more projectile
at him, and he falls down into the ditch below. Birdie has a 6-shot
gun, so count the shots and hit him when he reloads. When he moves to
the back of the compound, hit him quickly or he'll pop some Flash and
go behind the scaffold again.
xii) Set Up
-----------
Player 1 Warrior: Cowboy
Player 2 Warrior: Cochise
Target score: 15000
If you can help the Saracens set up the Jones Street Boys and some
dirty cops, you'll get on the Riffs' network.
You need to steal fifty items from stores to set up the Jones Street
Boys, and steal five car radios to set up the cops. Exit the alley
and go left to find the first car radio. Then clear out the Drug
Store and Wine and Liquor. (Cops come whenever you start stealing
from a store, so make sure you clean out the store and leg it.) Go
all the way back to the other end of the street and right, into an
alley. Go into the shadows and kill the JSB scout. Get the car radio
and the owner will try to stop you. Kill him, take his machete, then
go all the way down the alley and back onto the street. On the other
side of the street is another alley. Hop the fence and go right, to a
car park. Take the radio from the car here and go down to the
circular bit of road where you'll find another car, but there's a JSB
guarding it. There's also a nearby scout. Kill him with a running
attack from your machete and kill the JSB by the car, then steal the
radio. Now go right from the car and through the grassy alley. On
your left are some stairs with a scout. Kill him then go up the
stairs and on your right is another car. Kill the JSB at it and steal
the radio. You should have five car radios now, so all that's left
are the stores. Go up the stairs beside the spray dealer, across the
roof, down some more stairs and go left. You will reach a new street.
Clean out HiFi Electronics, then Fine Jewels and finally The Family
Jewels. You should now have fifty stolen items. Go back to the first
street and plant the some loot in the boot of the cop car. Now go to
the JSBs' hangout.
When you get there, there are some JSBs on the balcony. Cowboy and
Cochise distract them. Go into the hangout by jumping over to it. Now
plant the loot in the hangout. There are four places to plant it.
When it's all planted, a sleeping JSB wakes up and alerts the other
JSBs, so it's best to kill him before the loot is planted. Finally,
head back to the streets. If the JSBs were alerted, just try to run
away from them, which should be easy. Now watch the cutscene where
the JSBs and cops get framed.
xiii) All-City
--------------
Player 1 Warrior: Rembrandt
Player 2 Warrior: Snow
Target score: 15000
It's time to take the Warriors all-city. You need to bomb (no, not
literally) some fresh trains up in the Pelham train yard.
Get some spray from the boxes until you have nine, then break through
the fence thing and go to the objective marker. You spot a fresh
train to bomb. Fox goes off to find more fresh trains.
Go over to the train and spray a Warriors logo on it. You need to tag
in three separate places to do this. Once you've done this, continue
though the train yard and some Moonrunners will spot you.
Fight through the pesky Moonrunners. They are armed with spray, and
if you get sprayed in the face, your vision will be blurred. Go to
the objective marker when they're dead. Go though the trains to get
to the next part of the yard. When you come out, transit cops spot
the mess you made of the train, so they call for backup.
Go inside the radio room by picking the lock on the door. Take out
the transit cop dispatcher and destroy the radio. Fox reappears and
says he's found four more fresh trains.
Go find and bomb those four trains. Watch out for the cops and
Moonrunners. If they chase you, just hide until they go away. There
are plenty of spray cans in the train yard. Most of the Moonrunners
have spray or Flash. Once all the trains have been bombed, go meet up
with Fox on the roof of the mechanics bay. Fox says he's found two
more fresh trains. Scopes, a friend of the Warriors, says that the
radio you destroyed was a direct link to the police station, and
there are now more cops in the train yard.
Fox has rejoined you. Go into the mechanics bay below you, and bomb
the train in there. Then bomb the train just across the yard. Watch
out for the cops, though. Finally, go back to the subway to escape
from the train yard. Watch out for the cops and Moonrunners on the
way.
xiv) Desperate Dudes
--------------------
Player 1 Warrior: Swan
Player 2 Warrior: Snow
Target score: 7000
(The rest of the missions come straight after each other, so you
won't go back to the hangout until the end of mission 18.)
You've reached the part of the game where Cyrus holds a meeting. He
makes a great speech to the gangs, but suddenly, Luther, the leader
of the Rogues, shoots him. Everyone starts running away, and Luther
frames the Warriors for killing Cyrus. The Riffs believe him and
Cleon gets killed. The rest of the Warriors manage to escape the
madness, but some cops cause them to split up. Now it's just you
(Swan) and Snow. Snow spots a Turnbull AC tag on a nearby wall. Yep.
You're on Turnbull AC turf.
Go towards the objective marker to find Ajax having trouble with some
Turnbulls. Kill all the Turnbulls before they kill Ajax. Watch out
for the tall Turnbull who runs at you with a machete. Head to the
objective marker when they're out of the picture. You overhear some
Turnbulls talking about the meeting. They think the Warriors killed
Cyrus, and they are planning to take them out. That means Turnbull
scouts are on patrol.
Kill the scout in front of you, then go left around the fenced area,
over the fence and left into the shadows in a derelict warehouse.
Kill the scout and continue on. Kill the next scout, then hide in the
shadows near a group of talking scouts. Lure them out (by throwing a
bottle/brick) and run to the objective marker. You will find a
Turnbull beside a gate. Go into the nearby shadows, lure him towards
you and kill him stealthily. (Take his machete.) Open that gate and
enter the warehouse. In there is a group of Turnbulls. Either fight
them or kill them stealthily. Push the switch to open the door, and
go to the objective marker. Ajax spots the Turnbulls' hangout. Snow
says they've got no choice but to 'bop all the way home.'
There are still more scouts to get past. Jump down and kill the first
two scouts, which is easy. Move on and kill the third and fourth
scouts. Kill the fifth scout and run up the stairs, past the
Turnbulls' hangout and through the door. You find Vermin fighting
some Turnbulls. Get in there and kill them all. As you continue, you
hide from a passing Turnbull bus.
Keep a listen out for the Turnbull bus. If the Turnbulls on it spot
you, they'll alert the scouts. If the bus is coming, the music will
change. Right now, you need to get through the scrap yard. Kill the
first and second scouts, and climb over the building. Kill the last
scout, open the gate and head to the objective marker. You've found
the rest of your Warriors, who are fighting Turnbulls. Kill all the
Turnbulls and then go to the objective marker after the very short
cutscene. You'll be pleased to know that there are no more scouts.
As you walk down an alley, the Turnbull bus spots you and chases you
down the alley. Sprint to outrun the bus. Keep your finger on L2!
(You have infinite stamina.) There are fences to climb over and
charge through. Press triangle to climb and X to charge. To make sure
you know what's coming, here is a list of what you need to do (in
order): climb, charge, climb, climb, charge, charge, climb, climb,
climb and finally climb down out of the alley. Make sure you perform
quick fence climbs to make sure you don't get run over. You then hide
behind a parked van and the Turnbull bus comes down the street.
Vermin spots the train, but the only to get to it is to run to it
with the Turnbulls on your tail.
And that's what you need to do. Continuously press X to outrun the
bus as it chases you to Gunhill Road Station. The Warriors just
manage to get onto the train before the Turnbulls get them. Whew!
xv) No Permits, No Parley
-------------------------
Player 1 Warrior: Swan
Player 2 Warrior: Snow
Target score: 9000
You're back in Tremont, and the Orphans aren't too happy. After a
rough conversation with Sully and his Orphans, you need to head on
over to the next station.
Don't stay in the street for too long, as the Orphans throw things at
you. Go to the objective marker. Sully comes back with
reinforcements. Take out Sully and his Orphans, then go to the
objective marker. Suddenly, some cops spot you, forcing the gang to
split up. Some of the Warriors get arrested.
It's just you and Snow. Find your Warriors and get them to the park
gate. Cochise is nearby, arrested. Fox and Cowboy are down. Rembrandt
is hiding, and Ajax is fighting some Electric Eliminators. Vermin is
also arrested. To revive a downed Warrior, you need Flash. Look out
for Flash around the level. Go into first alley on your right from
the start and on your left is a Flash dealer. There is a store near
the park that you can rob. There are cops everywhere. More often than
not, you will have to lure cops away, either by throwing bottles or
by acting as a decoy. Usually, the cops will be fighting other gangs,
which is an advantage. Try to get the Warriors to the park one by
one. Some Satan's Mothers are guarding Fox and they are hiding in
some shadows. There are some Molotov cocktails on a nearby rooftop,
so throw one at them to get them out. Once all the Warriors are at
the park gate, go through the gate with Snow. Remember Mercy from
mission 5? Well, on the way to the next station, the Warriors bring
her with them.
Note: Break open the boot of the police car beside Vermin and you'll
find some keys that you can pick up. I have no idea what they do, but
if anybody does know, please email me with the answer.
xvi) Home Run
-------------
Player 1 Warrior: Swan, Ajax
Player 2 Warrior: Snow, Cowboy
Target score: 2000
At the 96th Street Station, cops arrive, forcing the Warriors to
split up, again. Fox gets hit by a train; and Rembrandt, Vermin and
Cochise get a train to Union Square. As for Swan, Snow, Ajax and
Cowboy, the Baseball Furies find them.
You need to outrun the Furies. (You have infinite stamina.) Simply
sprint along the street until you reach the alleys. Jump over the
fences as you reach them, and then you need to jump from balcony to
balcony. As you near the end of the alleys, the Furies catch up to
you. If they get too close, just jump to hold them back. Make sure
you jump fences quickly.
Once out of the alleys, Ajax thinks you lost them, but he's wrong.
They're still coming! Sprint down the street away from the Furies.
Try not to run into lamp posts or something, as this will slow you
down. Just keep your finger on L2! After a while, Swan and Snow head
off together. Cowboy, who is with Ajax, gets tired of running and
gets knocked down by a Fury.
You're now controlling Ajax and you need to fight off the Furies.
This is easy. Get their bats whenever possible to knock a bit of
extra health off them. Once the Furies have been wasted, more arrive.
Back to controlling Swan. Run to the park and fight the rest of the
Furies. Again, get a bat when you can. The Furies keep coming, so
don't stop fighting. When the battle is finally over, you need to go
to the next station, but first...
You need to take out the Baseball Furies' leader, Cobb. You can't
miss Cobb - he's dressed in black and has a huge unbreakable bat.
Wasting Cobb is fairly easy, as he takes a while to swing his bat.
Just try to avoid his bat swings. There are other Furies in the
Rotunda, but let your Warriors deal with them. Ignore the Furies on
the roof of the Rotunda, who throw baseballs at you. You can't grab
Cobb, by the way. On the way to the station, Ajax gets arrested in
the park for sexually assaulting an undercover policewoman.
xvii) Friendly Faces
--------------------
Player 1 Warrior: Rembrandt, Swan
Player 2 Warrior: Vermin, Snow
Target score: 2000
Meanwhile Rembrandt, Vermin and Cochise meet an all-girl gang called
the Lizzies, who take them to their flat for some 'fun.'
Speak to the Lizzie on her own at the other end of the room and
she'll ask you for a dance. While you're dancing, a nearby door
opens. Go into the room to find some Flash. There's another Lizzie on
her own. Speak to her and you get to kiss her. Another door will open
while you're doing this. There is some Flash in the new room. Now
throw a bottle, hit a Lizzie or something like that to move onto the
next part of the mission. Starr, leader of the Lizzies, pulls out a
gun and blames you for shooting Cyrus. 'The chicks are packed!'
You need to break down the main door to escape. Starr will shoot at
you, so hide when the yellow target thing above your head flashes
red. It is a 6-shot gun that she uses, so hide until the sixth shot
has been fired, then damage the door. (You can throw bottles at her
to put her off.) The other Lizzies aren't too much of a problem. Once
the door has been broken down, you regroup with the other Warriors at
Union Square. Mercy comes over to them and says that some nearby
Punks are onto you. You take Mercy into the subway bathroom and hide
inside a toilet cubicle. As you might expect, the Punks follow you
into the bathroom.
You're now controlling Swan. When prompted, spring the ambush on the
Punks by pressing triangle. Then start fighting them. Throw them into
sinks and toilet cubicles to build up your rage. After a while, they
start attacking Mercy, so keep the Punks away from her. When all the
Punks are dead, go to the objective marker to head back out to the
subway station.
xviii) Come Out To Play
-----------------------
Player 1 Warrior: Swan
Player 2 Warrior: Snow
Target score: 2000
Coney Island at last! And, oh my God, is that daylight? Yes, this is
the only mission that is set during the day. As the Warriors walk
through the streets, a hearse starts following them. Luther and his
Rogues are in it. Then it speeds up.
Continuously press the buttons that appear on the screen to outrun
the hearse. Then the Rogues meet up with the Warriors on the beach.
Luther says that he killed Cyrus for no reason. Swan challenges him
to a one-on-one fight. Luther likes that idea.
Luther is easy to beat, so just kick his butt. His power move (where
he jumps on top of you) is annoying and very hard to throw off. When
he's defeated, he staggers to the top of a small hill and pulls out,
yes, a gun.
Hide behind the boat thing, which can't be destroyed by Luther's gun.
He fires six shots before having to reload. Throw a bottle at him
after the sixth shot before he hides behind the fence to reload.
Bottles always spawn behind the boat thing, so just stay there. After
a while, Luther sends out his Rogues. When Luther is almost dead,
Swan takes out a knife, which you need to throw at Luther to finish
him off. Before he hides to reload, throw the knife at him by
pressing X and square at the same time. The Riffs then come onto the
beach to finish the job.
And that's all the story missions completed! Congrats! Watch the
credits as they roll. During the credits, you can fight the Rogues.
--------------------------------
k) Flashback mission walkthrough
--------------------------------
There are five Flashback missions to complete. They show you how each
Warrior joined the gang.
i) Roots
--------
Player 1 Warrior: Cleon
Player 2 Warrior: Vermin
Target score: 9000
This is how Cleon formed the Warriors. Cleon and Vermin are
Destroyers at this stage. After a talk with Virgil, you need to get a
package from LC for a deal.
Just jump down to save time. When you get to LC's place, he says that
there are cops everywhere, and they're watching the deal.
You need to cause crime to break up the stakeout. There are lots of
things for you to do to fill the crime meter. There are three cop
cars to trash, and bums and workers to fight. (Fight with the bums to
make them riot.) Use the Molotov cocktails to destroy the cop cars
easily. Once your crime meter is full, go back and see LC. LC gives
you the package for the deal with the Satan's Mothers. When the
Satan's Mothers arrive, they aren't happy with what's in the bag.
You've been double-crossed. Cleon and Vermin run into a warehouse.
Now to find a way out.
There are scouts inside the warehouse and you have to get past them.
Killing the first scout is easy (don't forget the Flash in the
office), but you'll have to lure out the next two scouts. Pick the
lock on the gate and go through the second warehouse. Ignore the
scout on your left, and go right. Kill the scout and get the Flash in
the office. Go up the stairs and wait for the scout on the catwalk to
walk over to the gate. Go into the shadows when he does and kill him
when you get the chance. Open the gate and go to the objective marker
to exit the warehouse complex.
It's not over yet. You need to waste Tiny and Spider. They are both
fairly easy to kill, so just wreck them. Just watch out for Tiny's
club and Spider's knife. (Tiny cannot be grabbed.) When you've wasted
one of them, the camera view changes, and the remaining enemy will be
angry, so he'll attack more forcefully. After the fight, Cleon and
Vermin go back to see Virgil. This is the part where Cleon decides to
form the Warriors for revenge.
ii) The Best
------------
Player 1 Warrior: Swan
Player 2 Warrior: Cowboy
Target score: 6000
This is how Swan and Cowboy joined the Warriors. To become a Warrior,
you need to win a King of the Hill challenge.
You need to go to the top of the hill and stay there for as long as
possible. When anyone (except Cowboy) reaches the top of the hill,
just throw them off. When you stay on the top of the hill for one
second, you score a point. When you reach 100 points, you win.
Now that you've got your vests, you need to wreck some stores. Go to
the Plumbing Store and wreck it. Destroyers will try to stop you, but
just kill them. Get yourself a sledge hammer and give them a good
pounding! Then go wreck Voodoo Motors and the Destroyers who defend
it. Now go to the Little Buddha and trash it. Watch out for the guys
sitting down who attack you. Finally, go trash the Meat Market. You
have to kill the Destroyers in it, too. Once it's trashed, wreck
Stefano, the butcher. Now go see Cleon at the Plumbing Store. The
Warriors now need a hangout. Cowboy knows of one that LC uses as a
flophouse.
Now to waste these Destroyers. Killing them is easy, so just wreck
them all. After that, go to the objective marker to see LC, who jumps
off the roof and staggers off. The Warriors now have a hangout.
iii) Heavy Muscle
-----------------
Player 1 Warrior: Ajax
Player 2 Warrior: Snow
Target score: 7000
This is how Ajax and Snow joined the Warriors. You need to survive
the fight pen to earn a vest.
Warriors constantly enter the pen, so hold them off until Cleon tells
them to stop. Fairly easy. Cleon gives Ajax and Snow their vests, and
invites them to a party. Ajax says he needs to 'shake off some girls
first.' At Rosie's stand, Ajax boasts about the fact that he's become
a Warrior. Suddenly, he and Snow get knocked out by Lemmy and some
Destroyers. When they wake up, they find that their vests have been
stolen.
Time to find your vests. Go towards the objective marker and some
Destroyers spot you on the way. Kill them and go to the objective
marker.
You spot Beansie inside a coffee shop. You need to interrogate him.
Take out the Destroyers and interrogate him to find out where your
vests are. Make sure you don't kill Beansie. Now go to Shantytown to
look for Lemmy.
You have more Destroyers to contend with. Beat them up and continue
through the alleys. There are quite a few groups of Destroyers around
the alleys, so just bop through them all.
Once you've found Lemmy, interrogate him and then take him out. Snow
now has his vest back. Lemmy said that LC has your vest.
Now to get your vest back. Go to the store, where Ajax asks the owner
if he and Snow could cut through the store to LC's place. The owner
says no. Start wrecking the store to make him change his mind. But he
doesn't change his mind; he starts attacking you. Kill him, take the
keys and go to the door. (Take his bat, too - it's unbreakable!)
Now to take out LC. Taking him out is very easy, so just use your own
tactics. Watch out for his knife, though. Then LC's girl comes into
the room, wearing Ajax's vest. Ajax goes into another room with her.
Hmmm... Once outside, with Ajax in his vest again, Ajax and Snow spot
a large group Destroyers down the street. And they wouldn't have seen
them if Ajax's new girlfriend hadn't shouted to him from the bedroom
window.
Run! Run for your life! The Destroyers are after you! Just sprint to
the objective marker before the Destroyers take you out. Once at the
objective marker, you regroup with your Warriors, and the Destroyers
give up.
iv) Scout's honour
------------------
Player 1 Warrior: Fox
Player 2 Warrior: Vermin
Target score: 9000
This is Fox joined the Warriors. Cleon says that they've been having
some trouble with the Savage Huns, and he wants you and Vermin to pay
them a visit. You also have to wear shirts with 'F-you, Huns!'
written on them.
First you have to trash the three market stalls, which is easy,
although the Huns come to stop you. (The Huns dressed in black have
knives.) You also have to spray over a Huns' tag in a restaurant.
(Watch out for the staff who have meat cleavers and pans.) When
that's done, go to the objective marker beside the gate.
Savage Huns are onto you, and there are a lot of them. Run through
the alleys and find a hiding place. Wait for the Huns to leave before
going to the Chinatown marketplace.
Now you need to tail the accountant while he makes transactions. Stay
in the shadows when he is making a transaction and don't lose him.
There are six transactions for him to make. At the fourth
transaction, some Huns come over and trash the stall. Make sure you
hide at the shadows that are closest to the stall because the Huns
come over to the shadows near the stall for the third transaction.
There are no shadows to hide in near the sixth transaction, so just
stand still in the marketplace. Once all six transactions are done,
go and kill him and his Huns. Then get his ledger.
You then spot the Huns' errand boy and need to chase him through the
alleys. Don't lose him. He reaches Ghost, the leader of the Huns, who
sends some Huns to deal with you.
Killing the Huns is easy, so just waste 'em. Now to take out Ghost.
He is probably the easiest leader to kill. Just kill him, but watch
out for his Kung Fu moves. (Break the barrels for some goodies...)
The errand boy comes back, so chase him. Mug him when he stops to
open the gate. Now that you have the bag, more Huns are onto you. Run
to the subway before they kill you. (They won't come after you when
you jump over the fence.)
v) Sharp Dressed Man
--------------------
Player 1 Warrior: Cochise
Player 2 Warrior: Snow
Target score: 11000
This is how Cochise joined the Warriors. To become a Warrior, you
need to steal a Bopper's hat. A size 9 Bopper's hat.
Go down the alleys to find some Boppers. Kill them and try on their
hats. You need to try on five Bopper hats. Continue through the
alleys and climb on top of the stand thing. Go across the roofs and
you'll find some more Boppers at a basketball court. Once you've
tried on five Bopper hats, go to the club marked on the radar.
Inside the club, you need to get the Boppers' attention. Just hit
someone to accomplish this. Kill the Boppers when they come and then
Reggie will come to attack you. Interrogate him and he will mention
something about Big Moe. (Kill the barman because he throws bottles
at you, which can put you off.) Go back onto the streets and then go
to the pool hall. Watch out for Boppers on the way there. You can get
into the pool hall for free if you are wearing a Bopper's hat, but if
not, you need to pay $100.
Inside the pool hall, kill all the Boppers and bouncers, and
interrogate Boxcar to get some more info about Big Moe. (Kill the
barman because he throws bottles at you, which can put you off.) Go
back onto the streets and over to The Black Cat. There are more
Boppers on the way there. You need at least $10 to enter the Black
Cat.
Once inside The Black Cat, find Debbie, the stripper. She is the
stripper furthest from the entrance. Give her $5 and she'll tell you
where to find Big Moe. Go outside and back the way you came to get to
Club 45.
Now to fight Big Moe for his hat. Big Moe certainly lives up to his
name. The best way to attack Big Moe is by charging, as his attacks
are strong. You cannot grab him. When his hat falls off, grab it and
then you need to dance. Press the correct buttons to earn some Flash.
Now continue fighting Big Moe. After a while, he sends two girls out
to help him. They spray you with mace, which blurs your vision. Once
Big Moe is wasted, you get to keep his hat. A size 9 hat!

l) Bonus objectives
-------------------
In most missions in the game, there are bonus objectives. Completing
them unlocks bonus features in Rumble Mode. Most of the bonus
objectives are tagging.
i) Payback
----------
All the bonus objectives in this mission are tagging. The Destroyer
tags are easy to spot; they're light blue and 'stretched.'
Bonus objective 1: Spray over the last tag on the street.
There are two tags to spray over at this part of the mission, but the
bonus objective is to spray over the third one. Let's find them all.
1: On the wall beside the Destroyer who is being sick.
2: At the other end of the street, beside the drug store.
3: From 2, go past the stairs leading to the subway platform and
you'll find the tag behind the Coin Laundry laundrette.
Bonus objective 2: Spray over the remaining back alley tags.
There are a total of five tags at this part of the mission.
1: As you enter the back alleys, look left and you'll find some
stairs. Go up them and at the top, go left then right. Run along the
roof and jump to the next building. Go down onto the awning just to
the left and you'll find the tag.
2: Go back to those stairs, but go past them as though you're going
to the furthest tag. When you see the Flash dealer, there will be a
small hut thing on your left. Climb on top of it and then up onto the
balcony where you'll find the tag.
3: Head to the furthest tag and after climbing over the fence, go
left then left again. Climb on top of the container, then onto the
balcony. Run along the balcony, jump to the next one and then jump
onto the building where you'll find the tag.
4: Climb back over that fence (mentioned in 3) and go right, from the
Flash dealer. The tag is on the wall beside the derelict shed.
5: Go to the other side of the alley from 4 and you'll find the tag
on the wall on your left.
Bonus objective 3: Spray over the remaining main street tags.
There are a total of 6 tags at this part of the mission.
1: Go up the street, left of Wines and Liquors and go up the stairs
on your right, just past the phone box. Jump down to the grassy area
on the left (there are Destroyers in it) and go right, down the alley
just ahead. Go up the stairs and you'll find the tag behind the black
hut thing.
2: From 1, there is a building that you can jump to from the top of
the stairs. Jump to it and go up the small ramp. At the top of the
ramp, go left and jump down onto the large balcony. You'll find the
tag here.
3: Same as 2, but before the jump down to the large balcony, go right
and jump to the next building. The tag is behind the large dumpster
thing with barbed wire on top.
4: Go back up the stairs just past Wines and Liquors (if you can't
find them, follow the instructions for tag 1) and you'll find the tag
on the wall.
5: From 4, go down to the grassy area and you'll find the tag on the
side of a house.
6: From 5, go left down the nearby alley and up onto the small
building beside the car. Go along the building debris and you'll find
the tag.
ii) Blackout
------------
Bonus objective 1: Mug ten people.
This bonus objective is simple. All you have to do is mug a total of
ten people. Easy enough.
Bonus objective 2: Snuff out the Moonrunners' tags.
There are seven tags to find and snuff out. The tags have white
writing and a purple background.
1: At the end of the first street, go into the alley and up the
stairs. The tag is on the wall up here.
2: Go back down the stairs and continue through the alley. The tag is
on the wall between the dumpster and junk pile.
3: Continue through the alley to the second street and you'll see the
tag on the truck trailer.
4: Continue along the street and you'll find the tag directly
opposite the entrance to the next alley.
5: As you enter the next alley, go left then right and up the stairs.
The tag is on the wall up here.
6: Go back down the stairs and right. Go right again and you'll see
the tag on the wall. (Accessible once you're able to go to the park.)
7: Go straight on through the alley from tag 6. Go left from the cop
car and into the alley beside the parked van. The tag is on a wall in
the alley somewhere.
iii) Real Heavy Rep
-------------------
Bonus objective 1: Kill a total of forty Orphans.
This bonus objective is easy enough. There are plenty of Orphan
groups that you'll encounter, so just waste them all.
Bonus objective 2: Snuff out the Orphans' tags.
There are five tags for you to find and snuff out. The tags are white
with black writing.
1: On the wall beside the objective marker after killing the first
group of Orphans.
2: While chasing Jesse, after climbing over the fence, go up the
stairs and jump to the next rooftop. Climb up to the next level and
you'll find the tag behind a blank billboard.
3: Jump off the roof and go along the street. On the way, you'll see
a small set of steps leading to a grassy area. The tag is on a nearby
wall in there.
4: Go to the top of the street and go left. Go left again into the
alley beside the parked car and you'll see the tag on your right.
5: On the wall of the Orphans' hangout. Spray over this tag after the
fight because if you try to spray over it during the fight, the
Orphans will put you off.
iv) Adios Amigo
---------------
Bonus objective 1: Trash the Hurricanes' car.
The car you need to trash is the one beside the first group of
Hurricanes. Just order your Warriors to trash it.
Bonus objective 2: Snuff out the Hurricanes' tags.
There are seven tags to find and snuff out. The tags have red
writing.
1: Near the first group of Hurricanes is a grassy courtyard. Go into
it and climb onto the dumpster on the left side of the yard to get to
the tag.
2: Go into the back alleys from the first group of Hurricanes (first
right) and climb on top of the hut thing then onto the roof of the
building. Turn around, jump to the next building and onto the awning
just to the right. The tag is here.
3: Go into the back alleys from the first group of Hurricanes (second
right) and break through the fence on your left. Climb on top of the
container to get to the tag.
4: From 3, go back through the opening in the fence and make your way
to Stripes and Solids. Before the alley exit is a container. Climb
onto it and go onto the balcony to get to the tag.
5: When you leave the back alleys, go left and head all the way to
the end of the street. Go into the alley on your left and you'll see
the tag on the wall beside the Flash dealer.
6: This tag is at the area where Sanchez leads you to the second
group of Hurricanes. When all the Hurricanes are dead, go get
Sanchez, but after you climb up the dumpster and onto the roof,
you'll see the tag in front of you.
7: On the back wall of the room where you fight Diego and Vargas.
Spray over it when you get the chance!
v) Destroyed
------------
There's only one bonus objective in this mission and it's to kill
Maurie, the pit boss in the Destroyers' gambling club. To kill him,
throw a Molotov cocktail at him (there are some in a nearby box). It
will be hard, as he is constantly running from side to side, and he
is behind a cage. You have to throw a Molotov at him through the
small opening in the cage. You'll know when you've hit him, as he'll
start screaming in agony.
vi) Boys In Blue
----------------
The bonus objective in this mission is to snuff out the Turnbull AC's
tags. There are three of them and the bullheads on the tags are
purple. Here's where to find them:
1: Go along the subway platform from the start and eventually, you'll
see the tag on the wall on your right.
2: After going up the stairs out of the subway station, go into the
alley on the other side of the street and go left then right. Hop the
fence and go left then take the second right. The tag is on the wall
in front of you here.
3: On the wall of the Riffs' gambling club.
vii) Setup
----------
Bonus objective 1: Snuff out the Jones Street Boys' tags.
There are nine tags to find and snuff out. The tags have black
writing and a whitish background.
1: Exit the alley at the start and go left up the street. Enter the
alley on your right, hop the fence and go right. Kill the scout and
go down the alley until you find some stairs on your right. Go up
them and jump onto the roof of the house where the tag is.
2: Continue down the alley in the same direction and after climbing
over the fence, climb onto the dumpster on your right and onto the
balcony above, where you'll find the tag.
3: Exit the alley and enter the alley on the other side of the
street. After hopping the fence, go right and go straight down the
alley. You'll reach the tag on the wall on your right behind a
dumpster.
4: From 3, go back the way you came and go right, down onto the ring
road. Go up the stairs just past the parked car and go right. Hop the
fence, go up the stairs, turn right at the top and jump to the next
rooftop where you'll find the tag.
5: Go back to the ring road and enter the narrow grassy alley near
the car. Go along the alley and up the stairs that you reach on your
left. Go left at the top and after hopping the fence you'll be beside
the tag.
6: Go back over the fence and up the stairs beside the spray dealer.
Go across the roof, down the stairs and right. The tag is on the
fence just ahead.
7: Turn around from 6 and go along the alley and onto the new street.
Go along the street and into the first alley on your right. You'll
see the tag on the wall just ahead, next to the group of people who
are partying.
8: Go along the alley and a very short distance from tag 7 is the
front porch of a house above you. Climb up to it and you'll find the
tag.
9: Continue along the alley and after hopping the fence, you'll see
some junk piles on your left. Climb onto them and onto the roof. Turn
right and jump to the next rooftop, then down into a compound. Go to
the back left area of it and go up the stairs you find. The tag is on
the wall up here. You have to climb over the guardrail to get to it.
Bonus objective 2: Steal all the car radios.
There are a total of eight car radios to steal.
1: Exit the alley at the start and turn left. A car with a stereo in
it is here.
2: Continue up the street and enter the alley on your right. After
hopping the fence, you'll find a car with a stereo in it when you
turn right. When you steal it, the owner will try to kill you.
3: Continue through the alley and when you exit it, go into the alley
on the other side of the street. In here, you'll find a car with a
stereo in it behind some fences.
4: Go down to the ring road near 3 and a car with a stereo in it is
here.
5: Go down the narrow grassy alley near 4 and go up the stairs that
you reach on your left. At the top, turn right and you'll find a car
with a stereo in it here.
6: Go up the stairs beside the spray dealer, across the roof, down
some more stairs and then left onto the new street. Go up the street,
and the first car you come to has a stereo in it.
7: In the alley beside tag 7.
8: In the compound where you find tag 9.
Bonus objective 3: Snuff out the tag in the JSB's hangout.
The tag in the JSB's hangout is easy to find. It's in the upstairs
area where you plant the loot to set up the JSBs.
viii) All-City
--------------
The bonus objective in this mission is to snuff out the Moonrunners'
tags. There is no spray dealer in this mission, but there is plenty
of spray. There are four Moonrunner tags to find and snuff out.
1: At the end of the subway tunnel that you come out of at the start
of the mission to enter the trainyard.
2: After killing the transit-cop and smashing the radio in the radio
room, leave the radio room using the new exit. Go up the stairs
nearby on the right, into the top area of the radio room, across the
catwalk and down the stairs outside. Go under the stairs you came
down and you'll see the tag here in the shadows.
3: From 2, go to the other side of the trainyard and follow the
fences and stuff as though you're going left. You'll eventually reach
some sort of platform with Moonrunners on it and a tag is beside
them.
4: Go onto the roof where you regroup with Fox after bombing four
fresh trains. When you reach the top of the stairs, go left, to the
edge of the roof and you'll see some trains. One of them is white.
Jump onto it and follow the row of trains all the way along until you
reach a platform high above the ground. Jump onto it and you'll see
the tag here.
ix) Desperate Dudes
-------------------
Bonus objective 1: Trash the Turnbull ACs' hangout.
The hangout is the building that you walk past after going up some
stairs. As you walk along the balcony, there'll be some windows on
your right. Smash through them and you'll be in the Turnbulls'
hangout. There are Turnbulls in here, so watch yourself.
Bonus objective 2: Snuff out the Turnbull ACs' tags.
There are ten tags to find and snuff out. There is no spray dealer in
this mission, so keep an eye out for hidden spray.
1: On the wall at the start of the mission.
2: On the wall at the balcony that you jump down from to help out
Ajax.
3: After killing the very first scout, go behind the container and
you'll see the tag on the wall here.
4: On the wall beside the wooden gate that you need to open. (A
Turnbull is guarding it.)
5: After the cutscene where you spot the Turnbulls' hangout, jump
down and you'll see the tag on the wall straight ahead.
6: In the back room of the Turnbulls' hangout.
7: After coming through the door when you go past the Turnbulls'
hangout, you'll see the tag on the right side of the door.
8: On a wall near a big yellow structure at the part of the mission
after saving Vermin.
9: Just before the area where the rest of the Warriors are fighting
Turnbulls, there is a bridge. The tag is on a wall underneath it.
10: On the way to Gunhill Road Station, you go past some stairs on
your right. Go up them and into the building and you'll see the tag
here.
x) No Permits, No Parley
------------------------
The bonus objective in this mission is to snuff out the Orphans'
tags. There are six tags to find and snuff out.
1: At the start of the mission, you'll see the tag on your way to the
objective marker.
2: On the wall where you fight the Orphans. Get it when the fight is
finished to make life easier.
3: After coming out of the shadows at the part of the mission where
the cops chase you, go up the street and take the second left. After
hopping the fence and going right, go up the stairs and you'll see
the tag on the billboard on the roof here. Climb on top of the
generators to get to it.
4: From 3, go back down the stairs and at the bottom, turn around and
go past them. Go through the opening in the fence ahead and turn
right. Go on top of the dumpster and climb onto the shelter thing
where you'll find the tag.
5: At the area where Cowboy is are some stairs. Go up them and onto
the roof and jump to the next rooftop. The tag is on the wall here.
6: Just to the left of the entrance to the park are some shadows. A
tag is here.
xi) The Best
------------

tags to find and snuff out.
1: At the start, go down the alley in front of you and you'll see the
tag on your right.

4: From 3, go through the back alleys to the Meat Market, and
opposite the first window of the Meat Market is a narrow alley. Go
down it and you'll see the tag on your right.

beside the spray dealer.
xii) Heavy Muscle
-----------------

where you are running away from some Destroyers. Make sure you've got
some Flash in your inventory!
Bonus objective 2: Waste fifteen more Destroyers before you get back
to Coney.
Same as before, but you have to kill five extra Destroyers. Yes, it
will be hard, but as long as you have Flash you should be able to
succeed. As soon as your rage meter is full, activate rage mode and
give the Destroyers a good beating.
xiii) Scout's Honour
--------------------
The bonus objective in this mission is to snuff out the Savage Huns'
tags. The word 'Savage' is green and the word 'Huns' is yellow. There
are also green dragon heads on the tags. The bonus objective is
available at the part of the mission where a large group of Huns
start chasing you and you have to lose them. There are seven tags to
find and snuff out.
1: When you go through the gate to make the Huns chase you, go across
the courtyard and you'll see the tag on the wall before the alley
entrance.
2: From 1, turn around and on your right before the gate is an alley.
Go into it and you'll find the tag beside the Flash dealer.
3: Go into the alley beside tag 1 and you'll see the tag on the wall
ahead, to the right of some shadows.
4: Turn around from 3 and go down the left hand alley. After you hop
the fence, you'll be on a new street. Go up the street towards the
objective marker and on the way, you'll see a walkway on your right,
leading upwards. Go up it and at the top, you'll see the tag on your
left.
5: Go back down the walkway and towards the marker. When you get past
the wall on your right, which is part of the walkway mentioned above,
you'll see some shadows on your right. Just beside them is the tag.

in front of it. Enter the shop and you'll find the tag behind the
counter.
7: On wall opposite the objective marker that leads to the Chinatown
Marketplace.

5: Go through the opening in the fence from 4 towards the pool hall.
Before you reach the street you'll go up some stairs. At the top of

10: On your way through the tunnel to the Black Cat, you'll see the
tag on your right.

m) Armies Of The Night mini-game
--------------------------------
Once you've completed the story missions and flashback missions, you
can play a 2-D arcade game called 'Armies Of The Night', which is
accessible from the Warriors' hangout. In the game, you control Swan
and you must fight past all the gangs and rescue Mercy, who has been
kidnapped by the Riffs. There are five stages and you have seven
credits to get past them. If you die, you lose a credit. When you
complete a stage, you get an extra credit. The 99-second timer at the
top of the screen counts down while you play. If it runs out, you
lose a credit. Each time 'GO' appears on the screen, the timer resets
back to 99. Break open the barrels and crates; many of them contain
Flash and weapons. Although it's a 2-D game, you can use all the
moves from main game. (If you are playing the game with a friend,
player 2 controls Ajax.)
Glitch: There is a rather nasty glitch in stage 2, at the part where
you fight Chatterbox. Sometimes after you kill him, you will be
unable to enter the lift. 'GO' appears onscreen, but there seems to
be some sort of invisible wall preventing you from getting through.
YouTube user Maidenhead found the solution to prevent the glitch from
occurring - kill Chatterbox, but make sure he DOESN'T FALL OFF THE
SCREEN. If he does, you're screwed...
------------------
n) 100% completion
------------------
You can see how much of the game you've completed by looking at the
game stats by going to the TV in the hangout. How much progress
you've made is shown as a percentage. To reach 100%, you must do the
following:
-Complete all the story missions
-Complete all the flashback missions
-Complete all the mission bonus objectives
-Beat each mission target score
-Complete all the Coney Island bonus objectives
-Complete the workout bonus objectives
-Complete Armies Of The Night

p) Questions and answers
------------------------
Q: I can't reach the clinic in mission 5: Real Heavy Rep. When the
red marker is supposed to appear, it does not! I have also killed all
the Orphans. What is wrong?
A: The problem you're talking about must be a glitch. Before you get
to the clinic, you have to kill thirteen Orphans, and when all
thirteen are dead, the red marker should appear. If it IS a glitch, I
can't give you a lot of help. You could try doing the mission over
and over until the red marker appears.
Q: Once you've completed the game, can you travel anywhere else
besides Coney Island? If so, how?
A: You can't. You can only go around Coney Island, even after the
game is completed.
Q: In the first mission, I can't get my rage meter to fill up. I am
tired of beating up Rudy. What am I doing wrong?
A: While you are beating up Rudy, your rage meter does not fill up.
You just have to follow the onscreen instructions to progress to the
next stage of the mission. Your rage meter only fills at the stage
after you have learned how to use weapons.
Q: How do you unlock Diego and Vargas in Rumble Mode?
A: To unlock Vargas, you need to complete the tagging bonus objective
in 'Adios Amigo.' You can't unlock Diego, unfortunately.
Q: Could you tell me how to unlock other characters?
A: Here are some decent characters that are worth unlocking:
Sully: Complete the tagging bonus objective in 'Real Heavy Rep.'
Chatterbox: Beat the target score in 'Encore.'
Virgil: Beat the target score in 'Destroyed', or complete the one and
only bonus objective in 'Destroyed.' (Thanks to Ryan Wilson for
telling me about this.)
Saracens (gang, not a character): Complete the long tagging bonus
objective in 'Setup.'
Cobb: Beat the high score in 'Home Run.'
Luther: Not sure, but I think you have to beat the high score in
'Come Out To Play.'
Spider and Tiny: Beat the high score in 'Roots.'
Ghost: Complete the tagging bonus objective in 'Scout's Honour.'
Big Moe: Complete the tagging bonus objective in 'Sharp Dressed Man.'
Q: In the 'Feed the Bums' bonus objective, where are the doughnuts
and ice creams?
A: They are both at the same stand, which is found on the street that
leads to the store that you can break into and rob.
Q: In 'Armies of the Night', I can't get past the Hi-Hats section.
Once I've killed Chatterbox, I can't enter the lift. What's wrong?
A: This is just a glitch and it has happened to me A LOT. To avoid
it, kill Chatterbox, but make sure he DOESN'T FALL OFF THE SCREEN.
Q: Is it possible to unlock different parts of Coney that you visit
in certain missions, such as the areas in mission 2?
A: No. The only other parts of Coney that you unlock by progressing
through story mode are the areas near the four stores (Plumbing
Store, Little Buddha, Voodoo Motors and Meat Market).
Q: Once the game is completed, is it possible to use the subway?
A: No.
