    If you are looking for a particular boss and do not feel like searching through
    this very short FAQ, you may use a Crtl + F search by typing in the section in
    the table of contents. Also, there are SPOILERS beyond this point, so I caution
    you to read at your own risk.

    I.Introduction
    ================================================================================
    Hello, everybody, and welcome to DarkBlumiere's Boss FAQ for Sly 2: Band of
    Thieves. I was inspired to write this short FAQ since I found out that this game
    didn't have one. Since I haven't written a Boss FAQ yet, I figured that there
    should be one for this game. Before I get into the FAQ, I wanted to let you know
    one very important thing. The strategies listed below are not the only ways to
    defeat the bosses listed. These are helpful tips on how to destroy the bosses in
    this game. If you have a strategy that you think is better than the one provided
    in the FAQ, please send me an email. Alright, let's move on with the FAQ.

    ================================================================================
    II.Boss Strategies
    ================================================================================
    Here is the meat of the FAQ. This section will list information on how to beat
    all six bosses in this game. Some of the bosses are rather tricky and will give
    you trouble; however, most of them are cake. Here are the strategies that I find
    are the best way to beat these bosses.

    ================================================================================
    A.Dimitri
    ================================================================================
    The very first boss you'll have to fight in this game is Dimitri. You have
    broken into his nightclub and ruined his money printing operation. He is not a
    happy camper. Time to fight this ruffian.

    To begin the fight, Dimitri will basically follow you around and try and aim a
    few cheap punches at you. You must whack him with your cane as much as possible
    to lower his health bar. Whenever you see him charge up a punch, try and back
    away from him, so he doesn't end up sucker punching you. Keep whacking him with
    your cane and dealing damage.

    Once you get him down to about half damage, Dimitri will warp to the other end
    of the room and summon magic attacks from his ring. In order to avoid these,
    hide behind the conveniently placed barrels until the ring malfunctions and
    stops shooting at you. Run from your hiding place and give him a few good whacks
    with your cane and dodge his sucker punches. Dimitri will repeat the ring attack
    a few more times. You just have to keep dodging his punches and ring attacks.
    Once you deplete his health to zero, a cutscene will initiate where Sly whacks
    him into a barrel and traps him. Congradulations, you beat Dimitri. Grab the
    Clockwerk Tail Feathers and leave Paris for good.

    TIP: Are you running low on health in the Dimitri fight? Well, try breaking the
    surrounding barrels on the battlefield. A few of them supply life increments
    that can make all the difference.

    ================================================================================
    B.Lord Rajahn
    ================================================================================
    Well, Sly has been incapacitated, so you'll have to fight this battle with good
    old Murray. Rajahn isn't too happen that you made a full of him at his party and
    destroyed his spice operation, so he's gonna fight you to the death. Time to
    brawl man to tiger.

    Rajahn is very powerful and will lunge at you periodically. He will try and
    whack you with his staff that contains the other half of Clockwerk's Heart. To
    beat Rajahn, you'll have to throw a couple of powerful punches at him. Keep
    aiming punches, and you have dodge when he goes to lunge. I suggest jumping into
    the air and landing near him to get in another good punch.

    Once he is down to about half HP, you'll hear him say "Defend your lord". Now, a
    bunch of his goons will come in and try to attack you. They have health packs
    for you, so you may want to defeat them. If you have Murray's Fists of Flame,
    you can light your hands on fire and kill the enemies in one hit. If not, you
    can wait until Rajahn unleashes his powerful lightning attack and zaps whatever
    is in the water. At this point, you will want to jump onto a lilypad.

    You will now have to commence with your punching match with Rajahn. He will
    still lunge at you with the staff, but you also have to contend with his
    lightning attack as well. This fight includes a lot of jumping and dodging. It
    may take a couple of tries, but you will eventually come out on top as the
    dominate ruler of the jungle. You have shown Rajahn who is boss. Now, you have
    to break your friends out of jail.

    ================================================================================
    C.Contessa
    ================================================================================
    The Contessa is a prison warden who is a secret member of the Klaaw Gang. Once
    you break your friends out of jail, track her down, and save Carmelita, she will
    challenge you to a fight for the Clockwerk Eyes.

    Contessa is really easy. She has three attacks total. During the battle,
    Contessa will periodicaly slash at you with her sharp claws. Just side-step her
    as she lunges at you. While you are dodging her, you can get in some good whacks
    with your cane. Another annoying attack that she does is send out little
    exploding spiders that follow you until they explode. Get rid of them as quicly
    as possible because they contain life packs.

    Her third and final attack is the use of the Clockwerk Eyes. She will use them
    to hypnotize Sly and confuse his movements. In order to avoid this from
    happening, stay out of the gaze of the Clockwerk Eyes. A red beam of light will
    come out, so you know to avoid that when that happens. So, you just keep
    swinging that cane at her, dodging her hypnotic gaze and swings, and killing
    those exploding spiders. Once you beat her, she's done for good. Contessa is now
    behind bars.

    NOTE: YOu will fight Contessa twice. The above strategy is a combination of the
    two battles since she pretty much uses the same moves. You will also have to
    fight Neyla in episode 6. I didn't include this because it's pretty straight
    forward and not really counted as a boss.

    ================================================================================
    D.John Bison
    ================================================================================
    John Bison is not happy. You have looted his three iron horse trains and stole
    the Clockwerk parts. Also, you cheated in the games. He's gonna kill you for
    that. Let's show him that brain is better than brawn.

    You'll be using Bently for this fight as my little metaphore mentioned above.
    You won't be doing physical damage to John Bison, but you still get to defeat
    him in a demeaning way. So, you have to use the saw mill controls to defeat him.
    You will press three buttons; Square, Triangle, and Circle. Square activates the
    fire, Triangle activates the saws, and Circle rolls the logs.

    In order to beat John Bison, you have to get him on one of the traps. Once he is
    on a trap, press the coordinating button to have Sly activate the traps for you.
    This is all you have to do for the entire battle. Eventually, he will send out
    his little minions to help you, which will give life packs when needed.

    Once you get John Bison to the halfway point, he will start throwing sticks of
    dymnamite at you. This is easily dodged as they take a few seconds to explode.
    Just keep giving those commands to Sly as he passes over the traps. Once you
    defeat him, you'll hear that Arpegio's blimp has arrived. This will trigger the
    final episode.

    ================================================================================
    E.Clock-La
    ================================================================================
    Neyla has betrayed Arpegio and combined herself with the hated Clockwerk. She is
    now known as Clock-La. It is time to get rid of Clockwerk once and for all. He
    killed your family and put you in an orphanage. I think erasing him from history
    is good pennance for his naughty actions.

    Clock-La is a major pain in the ass with her attacks. She relies on missles and
    energy blasts to silence you. At the beginning of the fight, her weapon of
    choice is yellow missles. In order to defeat her, you have to shoot at her from
    Carmelita's plane. Once you get her lowered in health, she'll start firing red
    missles which are more deadly than the yellow ones. You have to keep shooting at
    her and dodging those missles.

    Once you get her down to halfway, she'll start firing energy blasts at you that
    do a ton of damage. You'll know when to avoid these because the eyes give it
    away. When you see them start pulsing, you'll know an energy ring is coming at
    you. Eventually, you'll get her down so low that she'll take down your plane and
    pick up Bently and Murray.

    It's time for you to do a little blimp jumping. In order to finish Clock-La for
    good, you must jump from blimp to blimp and attempt to grab onto her. Once you
    are on Clock-La, whack that head with your cane and avoid the energy blasts that
    she is shooting at you. Keep repeating the head whacking until her bar falls to
    zero. She will fall from the sky dead. Congradulations, you beat Sly 2: Band of
    Thieves. Enjoy the ending and satisfaction of silencing your archenemy for all
    eternity.
